Kohakutou (Japanese crystal candy) based on the crystals from Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) will come out in Japan in August 2025. You can put in your pre-orders through Isetan's online store, and you'll have until April 25, 2025 to do so. Worldwide shipping is available. The last time this candy came out was in December 2021, and they sold out on the first day. So if you're in Japan and you're interested in this candy, you should make sure to get it while you can.
The kohakutou will come in a box that has the FFXIV logo on the cover, as well as a little chart of the crystals inside. It costs 3,201 JPY ($21.65). The candy inside resembles crystals that Warriors of Light in the game can collect or mine for. As a note, Moo:D Mark does offer international shipping via WorldShopping. However, the pop-up doesn't appear on the page for the kohakutou. This is likely because it's food, which is one of the items that Isetan has shipping restrictions on even within Japan.
This candy is a collaboration with harapeco, which is a candy company in Japan that specializes in kohakutou. Kohakutou, or Japanese crystal candy, is a traditional sweet that you can make with agar agar powder, water, and sugar. It creates crystal shapes with a crunchy exterior and a soft interior. Because of their fragile nature, Isetan warns that you may see some damage such as cracks on the candy, which is a result of shipping. However, it does not accept any exchanges and reassures customers that this kind of damage has no negative effect on the candy's taste.
Final Fantasy XIV is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Windows PC, and macOS. Upcoming game events include Hatching-Tide, which will run from April 9-24, 2025.

The Pokemon Center opened up orders for a new and returning collection of Pokemon Dreams stuffed animals that features eight different plush characters as they sleep. They start at $29.99. However, the largest and most elaborate one is $59.99. In some cases, they are rereleases of characters released alongside the debut of the Pokemon Sleep app.
There are four characters that are $29.99. These are Chikorita, Cubone, Pikachu, and Slowpoke. Chikorita is sleeping on its stomach, while Cubone lays on its side while cuddling its bone-shaped hammer. Both Pikachu and Slowpoke are sleeping on their backs.
Three of the stuffed animals are $34.99. These are the Eevee, Gengar, and Larvitar. The Eevee's price seems to be due to the fact that it is one of the larger variants at 18 inches long. The Gengar is slightly chunky and has a tongue sticking out, even though it is only over 11 inches long. In the case of the Larvitar, it is 14 inches long and holding a berry.
The most expensive plush in the Pokemon Dreams collection features a Pikachu asleep on top of a napping Snorlax stuffed animal. This one costs $59.99. It is also the largest in the collection at 20 inches long.

James and the Giant Peach, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline. All are fantastic, heavily stylized stop motion-like animated movies that defined my childhood. Now, enter South of Midnight, a game that takes place in the deep south of the United States and impressively feels like those movies, even if it doesn't quite feel as necessary for this type of format.
Told through just over a dozen chapters, the main story of South of Midnight involves Hazel, a girl who goes on a journey to find her mom and learn more about the strange powers she starts to have in the midst of a hurricane. These powers are at the crux of the adventure that you and Hazel go on, powering everything from the movement to the combat to puzzles.
![]()
The level design in South of Midnight is pretty linear, to say the least. Sure, there are a couple of more open areas in some of the chapters, but even they don't take more than a couple of moments to explore to the fullest. In general, paths are pretty straightforward with a couple of branches with collectibles here and there.
The linearity of this experience is seen in the fights, too, which are typically arena-style. You will enter a clearing or circular-like area through your travels and be up against a couple of the creepy, shadowy creatures this game offers. The combat is quite basic, involving the usual dodges, hacks-and-slashes, and a few spells that switch things up every once in a while.
Ability upgrades are available, which do add a little bit of depth to the combat like being able to dodge twice in a row, but they are about as basic as they come. That is pretty much what I would say about all of the gameplay in South of Midnight in general. It doesn't do anything too special, but it does nothing egregious at the same time.
The gameplay is enjoyable enough to experience. There are some light puzzles that make interesting use of the pulling and pushing spells you have. There are plenty of climbing and platforming sections as well. Nothing truly impresses, but it is acceptable since the length of this game is so relatively short. I spent around 10 hours with the game in total, but you could definitely beat it in eight or nine hours.
![]()
That said, every minute I spent with South of Midnight, I kept thinking that I would just prefer this as an animated film. Since the gameplay is just there, what really stands out are the characters, visuals, and writing. Hazel herself is your standard "oh, I have strange powers now!" type of protagonist on a journey to discover herself.
This in itself isn't a bad thing, though, as Hazel has a lot of personality to her in her excellent voice acting and writing. She feels like a normal teenage in her angst, dancing randomly, and goofy jokes. The same goes for the memorable characters she meets along the way like a magical giant talking catfish and so many more that I won't spoil.
The whimsical nature of the plot and characters translates crucially to the art style, too. There are elements of cel-shading to the world and characters with sharp outlines and shading. It all looks so beautiful, especially with the stop-motion effects. I, surprisingly, didn't mind this in the gameplay and it looked even better in the numerous cutscenes.
![]()
While it is available on Game Pass, I almost recommend everyone to just watch the full story cutscenes on YouTube. They are stunning to look at, with the right mix of creepiness with the foes and gorgeous landscapes at times. This is one of the best visual styles in a long time and it feels like watching a genuinely entertaining film. In fact, the graphics look better than many animated movies these days.
In the end, if I wasn't reviewing South of Midnight, I would probably just watch it on YouTube. The gameplay is fine, but nothing special. The linearity of the experience also holds it back at times. As such, the real star of the show is the writing, characters, and incredible art style. The cutscenes are some of the most elaborate and well-animated I have seen in a long time. South of Midnight begs to be an animated movie at some point, so I hope it happens.
South of Midnight is available right now for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Bandai Namco's Rowtashii Noise brand announced new flocked Mofamofy figures of Sanrio mascots Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, and Kuromi are on the way. All three will debut in Japan in September 2025. As multiple stores, such as Amazon Japan and AmiAmi, are also taking pre-orders, we'll also see them appear worldwide. We might also see them at Crunchyroll as well, as its storefront carried other characters in the line.
There are certain hallmarks of these types of figures. The first is that they are always flocked. So they are fuzzy to the touch. The second is that they always hold transparent plastic flowers. The type of flowers varies, and they can include a mix of varieties. Next, all of the characters in this line are cute ones based on popular mascot lines. Finally, there is standardized pricing for them. They always cost 4,400 yen (~$30).
Here's how all three of the new Mofamofy Sanrio Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, and Kuromi figures will look. These are static figures, so there are no extra parts, and the flowers aren't removable. Kuromi will be the tallest, at almost four inches (100mm) tall. Cinnamoroll is shortest, as he is 65mm (about two and a half inches) tall. However, he is the widest of the three.

Rowtashii Noise's Mofamofy line is a relatively new one. Prior to these three Sanrio figures, only two other characters were announced. Both were Mofusand cats. One is dressed as a bee and holding a bouquet of orange flowers, while the other is a cat dressed as a shark holding pink flowers. Those both will be available in Japan in August 2025, then appear worldwide after.
The Mofamofy Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, and Kuromi figures will launch in Japan in September 2025, and we should see multiple retailers offer them globally.

The 8.2 update is on the way for Honkai Impact 3rd, and we'll get to use a new Li Sushang Battlesuit called Peregrine Sword in it. Ahead of that launch, however, HoYoVerse teased it by releasing a brief video that shows how she'll look this time around.
Here's the full teaser video for the Li Sushang Battlesuit. It also shows there'll be a chicken accompanying her, which is associated with Fu Hua and her mother. The design includes Chinese influences in it.
Some people will get to see her before others, however. At the start of April 2025, HoYoVerse started recruiting beta testers for 8.2. You needed to sign up in-game to be considered. Those who did would get to test the Battlesuit and new content out. The company regularly calls upon the community to help out in these situations and did so for 8.1 too.
As a reminder, we don't just see Li Sushang in Honkai Impact 3rd, as another version of her appears in Honkai: Star Rail. She's only available as a four-star character in that game. She debuted when the game launched in April 2023. Her appearance and "journey" there with Luocha mirrors the one the Honkai Impact 3rd version of her took with Otto Apocalypse.
Honkai Impact 3rd is available for PCs, and we'll see the Li Shushang Peregrine Sword Battlesuit appear as part of the 8.2 update.

Hazel's abilities can only be enhanced through Floof, a magical bundle accumulating over time. These valuable resources are hidden inside tins, waiting to be discovered with every flip. Here's how to find all Tin Flip locations in South of Midnight.
Table of contents
How to Tin Flip in South of Midnight
Your tin-flipping adventure won't begin until Chapter 2, where Hazel finally learns to finesse her Stands, spells, and dogdes. More specifically, this feature unlocks after you've acquired the Strand Push skill, allowing you to push tins out of the way. You'll come across plenty of tins in South of Midnight, but the ones you're after will trigger a button notification when you're close. Just ignore the ones that don't have this prompt.
![]()
If you find all of them, you'll earn the A Great Southern Tradition achievement and loads of Floof for Hazel's upgrades. Let's break down all South of Midnight Tin Flip locations in order.
South of Midnight Chapter 2: Tin Flip locations
First Tin Flip location
![]()
When using Strand Push for the first time on the wooden boards, look to your left to spot a tin in the greenery. You should receive the achievement, Finder's Keepers, marking the first time you've completed a Tin Flip.
Cart location
![]()
Continue moving forward from the first location. While at the cart, take a right for the following Tin Flip.
Big tree location
![]()
After you've pushed the cart and made it over to the other side, head towards a large tree on the left. You'll see a tin lying near it, just beside the combat area.
Pier location
![]()
Exit the barn and eliminate the Haints ahead to uncover a small pier. Walk on the dock and look for a tin just before the stairs.
South of Midnight Chapter 3: Tin Flip locations
Pier location
![]()
Once you've bottled up your first memory with the Catfish, turn left when facing the "Going Fishing" sign. The pathway to the tin will be between the house with glowing stairs and a structure with a Floof bundle on top.
Side pathway location
![]()
Follow the Strand to discover a house with a Floof at the balcony (in front of the wagon). Take a left at this house and use Hazel's abilities to get across the water. Then, use your Strand Push on the tin by the tree.
Shack location
![]()
The main pathway will eventually take you to an area with a few Haints. But before you enter combat, take a left to go to an abandoned shack. Jump across the spikes and clear out the debris with your Strand Push, presenting a tin near the water.
Fox location
![]()
You'll encounter a fox on the left after you've unlocked Wall Run and triggered the boat scene. Follow the animal to flip the last tin of Chapter 3.
South of Midnight Chapter 4: Tin Flip locations
Church location
![]()
While on Chapter 4's main pathway, you'll interact with a drawing before the church. Look to the left of the church and push the tin near the truck.
Church graveyard location
![]()
Head towards the right of the church to enter a graveyard. A Tin Flip will be hidden amongst the graves.
Church graveyard location #2
![]()
Return to the truck to locate another graveyard ahead. Travel to the cliffside to flip the last tin.
I'm still diving into the chapters to track down all of South of Midnight's Tin Flip locations, so feel free to check back here for updates and get one step closer to nailing those achievements. There are about 40 flips scattered across different chapters, giving you more chances to maximize Hazel's performance. For more South of Midnight content, check out our review and a list of all the voice actors.

The Pokémon TCG is no stranger to rare and valuable chase cards. Even from the beginning, cards such as Base Set Charizard, Base Set Blastoise, and Base Set Alakazam boasted tremendously high price tags, and they've retained them well into the third decade of the Pokémon franchise's existence.
But the Neo era sets introduced "Shining" cards, which represented Shiny versions of Pokémon for the first time in the TCG (Shiny Pokémon feature alternate colorations and were also introduced in Generation Two, Gold and Silver, of the mainline Pokémon games).
The Shining cards from the Neo sets remain a popular series that holds an incredible cachet among collectors and fans, but there's another set of cards featuring Shiny Pokémon spread across several sets that's even more beloved and far rarer: Gold Star cards.
Gold Star cards (officially dubbed "Pokémon Star" cards in the TCG) could be found in many sets, including Team Rocket Returns, Deoxys, Unseen Forces, Delta Species, Legend Maker, Crystal Guardians, Holon Phantoms, Dragon Frontiers, Power Keepers, POP Series 5 and, as one-offs, in Celebrations.
With beautiful artwork illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda and unusual, striking colorations on all the cards, it's no wonder they're hugely attractive to collectors and fans. Of course, the supreme scarcity of these cards—they were only found in roughly one out of every two booster boxes—is the main reason for the sky-high price points that all Gold Star cards boast. Let's peep the top 10.
Note: All prices come via PriceCharting, as TCGPlayer does not have listings for many of these eminently hard-to-find pieces of Pokémon-related cardboard.
10. Holofoil Metagross (Star) – Delta Species
Market Price: $646.65
![]()
The list kicks off with an amazing card featuring the stunning Shiny version of one of Generation Three's stage two Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon: Metagross. This Psychic/Steel-type 'mon boasts terrific all-around stats and a wonderful type combination, making it a favorite of many trainers.
This gorgeous gold-and-silver version of Metagross looks terrific in the moody, beautiful artwork delivered by Shiny Pokémon expert Masakazu Fukuda. In front of a blood-red background, this Metagross is ready to deliver a powerhouse Meteor Mash to its foes. Seeing as this is the least valuable card on this list—at a staggering price point near $650—that gives you an idea of the tremendous median value of Gold Star cards for Pokémon TCG collectors and fans.
9. Holofoil Mudkip (Star) – Team Rocket Returns
Market Price: $662.67
![]()
This adorable card happens to be one of the most valuable Water-type cards of all time and features Shiny Mudkip (one of the starter 'mon from Generation Three's games). It's supremely tough to find and, thus, features a price tag approaching $700 on the secondary market.
The main delineating factor for these cards is they're meant to feature Shiny versions of the 'mon featured, but instead, this card features a blue Mudkip (its standard coloration) instead of a Shiny, purple-hued one. However, its tail is the yellowish one that shiny Mudkip has. Curious.
8. Holofoil Latias (Star) – Deoxys
Market Price: $671.35
![]()
One of the most valuable Colorless cards of all time features a Shiny version of the female roaming Legendary Pokémon from Generation Three: Latias. Latias has been found on several notable chase cards over the years, including in 2024's Surging Sparks set, but this one takes the cake.
Gold Star cards were printed so sparingly, and it's no wonder only 22 copies of this card have been graded out as a PSA 10. The most recent sale of one cost over $20,000! That's an amazing number for a small piece of cardboard featuring a fictional character.
7. Holofoil Charizard (Star) – Dragon Frontiers
Market Price: $738.98
![]()
One of the most famous, if not the most famous, Pokémon of all time is Charizard, the final evolution of original Fire-type starter Charmander in the first games released in the franchise. That fame continued into the Pokémon TCG, as Base Set Charizard remains, perhaps, the most recognizable card across the TCG, and perhaps across all TCGs.
As such, the Gold Star version of Charizard from Dragon Frontiers showcasing a fire-breathing 'Zard boasts an impressive price point for an ungraded copy that approaches $750. Looking for a graded copy? Even PSA 1s go for roughly the same amount as a raw version, and PSA 10s are worth close to $20,000 on the secondary market, seeing as only 99 exist in the world.
6. Holofoil Pikachu (Star) – Holon Phantoms
Market Price: $745.25
![]()
This focused-looking Shiny Pikachu with attitude walked so that "Chonkachu" from Vivid Voltage could run. While Pikachu's Shiny coloration isn't that engaging (just a slightly darker, redder version of standard 'Chu), this card is certainly eye-catching.
With striking artwork from Fukuda of a Pikachu enveloped by electricity with its arms folded defiantly, it's no surprise this ultra-rare card is worth nearly $750 close to 20 years after release.
5. Holofoil Treecko (Star) – Team Rocket Returns
Market Price: $861.65
![]()
The second of three Generation Three starters that appear on this list, this Shiny version of Ruby and Sapphire's Grass-type starter features a blue-tinted body and a bright-red tail, making it a wonderfully intriguing card for Gold Star fans (and Treecko fans to boot).
This Treecko does, admittedly, look a little threatening, which is fitting for a card from the Team Rocket Returns set, which featured the return (fittingly) of cards with the "Team Rocket's" Pokémon moniker. With those cards making an appearance in upcoming Japanese and English sets, expect Gold Star cards from that set, such as this Treecko, to skyrocket in popularity and price in the near future.
4. Holofoil Torchic (Star) – Team Rocket Returns
Market Price: $973.73
![]()
The final Generation Three starter on this list is the Fire-type starter from the mainline games, Torchic. Arguably the most adorable of the three, Torchic evolves into the chicken-like Combusken and then into the majestic and powerful Blaziken.
However, it's Torchic that's featured on this eminently valuable card with a lighter coloration representing its Shiny form. All three starter Gold Star cards are worth a pretty penny, but this winking Torchic takes the cake with a massive value just shy of $1,000 in today's market.
3. Holofoil Rayquaza (Star) – Deoxys
Market Price: $1,615.87
![]()
The most valuable Colorless card of all time also hits the top three among Gold Star cards. Rayquaza Gold Star features brilliant Fukuda artwork of the massive, terrifying presence of Rayquaza—so big, in fact, that this legendary 'mon juts out of frame due to its sheer scale.
This card is truly a grail, as its baseline price point for an ungraded copy is well above $1,500—already a staggering sum. But once you get into graded copies, you're truly looking at "price of a new car" levels. For instance, the most recent sale of a PSA 10-graded copy of this card was $34,440! While that's a small fortune, it's understandable as only 48 copies with that grade exist.
2. Holofoil Umbreon (Star) – POP Series 5
Market Price: $2,198.12
![]()
Eeveelutions are always a hot commodity among Pokémon TCG fans and collectors. Seeing as Eevee has turned into the nominal second mascot for the entire Pokémon franchise, Eevee's evolutions are at least equally as popular as their pre-evolutions, if not more so.
As such, the two most valuable Gold Star cards both feature Eeveelutions, and they also happen to be the most valuable Eeveelution cards of all time. In a surprising twist, Umbreon (of Moonbreon and Sunbreon fame) actually is worth quite a bit less than its Psychic-type sibling.
1. Holofoil Espeon (Star) – POP Series 5
Market Price: $2,495,80
![]()
Espeon Star from POP Series 5 is the most valuable Gold Star card of all time, with a price point reaching a skyscraping $2,500 on the secondary market. Both Espeon and Umbreon Gold Star hail from POP Series 5, which was a special set that was released for the Pokémon Organized Play program, which featured organized official tournaments and events.
Seeing as the small sum of 17 cards are featured in the set, the booster packs released for the set only contained two cards. As such, the odds of pulling either the Umbreon or Espeon were infinitesimal—hence the massive price points for these cards from 2007.

FNAF 1 Remake is one of this year's best April Fool's Day pranks: a fan-made remaster of the original Five Nights at Freddy's with a terrifying analog-horror glow-up and a surprisingly meta plot about nostalgia and the inevitability of change. It also has a mind-melting secret ending.
Secret endings are a long-running tradition in Five Nights at Freddy's, and they're always hidden behind convoluted in-game puzzles, intentionally clunky pixelated mini-games, monstrously difficult animatronic encounters—or a combination of all three. FNAF 1 Remake's secret ending incorporates all these familiar pieces while throwing in something new. Here's how to get it.
Table of contents
How to get the 1-Star ending in FNAF 1 Remake
Before you can unlock FNAF Remake 1's secret ending, you'll have to get the box-standard 1-star ending first. Getting the 1-star ending in FNAF 1 Remake is pretty standard fair as far as Five Nights at Freddy's fan games go. To get it, you must (drumroll) make it through all five nights from 12am to 6am, facing off against reimagined versions of the original FNAF's animatronics. Sounds normal? Just wait.
Once you reach 4am on Night 5, Buddy, FNAF 1 Remake's in-game host, pulls a full "Just Monica" and decides he doesn't want to say goodbye yet. After a creepy intro that would make The Walten Files blush, Buddy drags you right into Night 6. Here, Buddy comes at you in all his spindly, grinning glory. Use every trick you've learned from the previous nights to stay alive until 6am. Once you do, you'll get the 1-star ending.
How to get the Red Star ending in FNAF 4 Remake
![]()
Once you've beaten the game regularly, focus on the top right of the game window. You'll need to fiddle around in the Extras menu, but eventually, the window's name will change from "FNAF 1 Remake" to "FIND ME, I'M WAITING FOR YOU." If you head to the title screen, it'll change to "THE ANSWER IS HERE, FIND IT."
If you look carefully, you'll see a black door icon hidden in the screen's bottom left corner. Click on it, and you'll find yourself face-to-face with a hooded version of the Marionette. They'll explain how Buddy's trapped them and the other animatronics in the game, but there's still a chance for everyone to escape. They'll ask you to collect five objects hidden around the Pizzeria so they can perform a ritual meant to free Buddy's captives.
Each of the five nights now has an object (a jittering, photo-realistic eye, to be exact) hidden on one of the Pizzeria's cameras. Don't worry; you don't have to play the entire game again: you can use the Night Selection option in the Extras menu to jump into each night and find their hidden object. The game saves once you grab an artifact, so you can exit out once you've collected it.
Here's where all the hidden objects are in FNAF 1 Remake.
Once you've got all the artifacts, head back to the Marionette's secret room and hand them over. The Marionette will then give you your last task: to head into the game's raw data and play a pixelated mini-game. You need to grab all the balloons you see and reach the end of the hall while avoiding Buddy. You'll get a 10-second countdown whenever Buddy's about to loom in, so duck into the nearest patch of black pixels whenever you see it flash up.
Once you've beaten the mini-game, you'll get a special surprise from the developer that I won't spoil here. If you head back to the title screen, you'll see you've gotten a shiny red star to commemorate your success.

The HDR is one of the returning weapons in Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops 6 season three it's available to be unlocked for free.
You do need to complete a few steps before you can get your hands on it, and that's something you will want to do ASAP because it's quickly become the best sniper in Warzone, and something that you should have a loadout ready for at any given time.
Here's everything you need to know about unlocking this sniper rifle for both Warzone BR and BO6 multiplayer.
How to get the HDR in Warzone and BO6
![]()
The HDR is a seasonal reward in BO6 and Warzone, and you must reach and complete page three of the season three battle pass to get it for free. It's the HVT Tier Reward of this page, which means you must first unlock all the other rewards of this group using BP Tokens.
If you're willing to shell out some CoD Points, you can buy enough rewards to unlock it, but you can also use the tokens received from the BlackCell battle pass to get it. But for free, you will simply need to play, level up the battle pass, and get enough tokens to unlock all the rewards needed to get the page three HVT.
While you get the base variant of this sniper from Page 3, there is also a separate blueprint that's available to claim from Page 11 of the Battle Pass. The Glint blueprint for the HDR comes with attachments like the Lightweight Bipod, Extended Mag I, Quickdraw Grip, Heavy Stock, and Strelok Laser.
The HDR is one of the free weapons you can claim in season three just by playing, alongside the Kilo 141 and Kali Sticks, which have different processesto unlock. Verdansk has finally made a return to the battle royale, and players are all rushing in to try this sniper that used to dominate the meta back during the early Warzone days. Well, guess what? It's dominating yet again. It's a one-shot down to any part of the chest or head, making it a top pick in the meta.

For more Warzone intel, check out our list of the bests loadouts and weapons to use in Verdansk, of which includes the HDR, of course. Our loadout is the best one there is for popping heads and getting lots of kills and cash in BR.

Pokémon Go's latest mini-timed research tasks and rewards are finally live for anyone who purchased a Go Fest ticket early, rewarding players with stuff around the Pokémon Skiddo in preparation for the big Go Fest events coming up in the next few months.
There aren't a lot of things to do, but for those wondering whether to purchase a Go Fest ticket before April 15 to get the early tasks and rewards is worth it, here's a list of everything you can get this time around.
All GO Fest 2025 Early Bird Timed Research tasks and rewards
Skiddo can be Shiny if you are lucky, but if you don't get one at this event, don't panic; it'll be spawning in Paris, New Jersey, and Osaka in-person Go Fest events as well as the Global Go Fest even in June, so there are plenty of chances coming up to get more and of course, get more Skiddo and Skiddo candy to get a Gogoat.
In our opinion, the early purchase for these tasks and rewards is not really worth it currently as it's a single Skiddo encounter, but it's still a nice little bonus for anyone who bought early bird tickets for one of the events.
Of course, the GO Fest 2025 Early Bird Timed Research isn't the only research going on right now. You can also start on your quest to catch Marshadow with the free A Striking Shadow Timed Research tasks and rewards, or take part in the Go: Pass April to get an encounter with Xerneas as well as other mystery Pokémon that appeared in events this season.
I'll be heading out to Paris this year myself, so for any trainers locked into a Go Fest, stay safe, catch a lot of Shiny Pokémon, and enjoy Go Fest to your heart's content! Each event has its own exclusive spawns before everything gets combined into the big final Global Go Fest, so let's try to catch what we can and complete our mobile Pokédex's while traveling around the world.

Schedule 1 received its first major content update, and it's currently available on the beta branch.
If you want to test out all the fresh additions, your best option is to switch to the beta branch. The full version should have the same features before long, but it could take at least an extra day. This guide will help you to switch to the beta version, test the new features, and switch back to the full version whenever you like.
How to download the Schedule 1 beta?
The process to download Schedule 1 beta is really simple, but you have to complete a few extra steps.
The third option hosts the beta version of Schedule 1 and fair warning — it might be unstable. There's always a risk of your saved file getting corrupted from the version. Only use the beta version at your own risk, for you can end up losing in-game progression.
Close the window, and you'll see a [beta] tag beside the game in your Steam Library. Steam will automatically complete a small download, along with any new update that is available on the beta version.
![]()
How to switch to Schedule 1 full version?
Switching back to the regular version is really simple. Complete the first three steps mentioned in the section above. Select the first option that says "None". This will switch your game back from the beta to the full version.
Use this knowledge with caution, as the full version is more stable with almost zero risk of your saved file getting corrupted. Unless you're desperate to try out an update, it's safer to play the full version.
The new update has added two new POIs, along with different cosmetic options for fans to use. The addition of the Pawn Shop will allow you to sell any item for cash that you might not need any longer.

Ranking in Schedule 1 is tied with in-game progression, and consistent in-game growth will help you gain access to more strains, workstations, and items required to expand your business.
A total of 74 levels exist in the current build of the game. Some level-ups are more crucial than others since they grant you access to new items. It might be a new product, a fresh workstation, or something entirely different.
All Schedule 1 ranks and unlocks
Every player begins from Street Rat 1, and most things will be restricted. Only the Northtown region is available, along with the OG Kush product and a handful of different tools. As you level up your character, new items are unlocked.
Every rank has five levels, and most of them will either unlock a new set of items, drugs, or a region. The only exception to this rule is Kingpin, which has 24 levels. However, leveling up along the Kingpin rank doesn't unlock anything as of writing.
In the future, more ranks will likely be added to Schedule 1, along with additional items to unlock. Some of those items could be related to the Kingpin rank, so I say level up as much as possible. The game's official roadmap already features new regions, products, and more, which will arrive as part of new updates.
How to level up fast in Schedule 1?
To grow quickly, make sure to check out our level-up guide. However, here's a TL: DR for the readers.

The first major update for Assassin's Creed Shadows is almost here, packed with features fans have eagerly awaited. Among them is the return of an iconic ability from past titles, making it easier than ever to travel across Japan.
This feature is none other than Assassin's Creed's beloved auto-follow mechanic, which I personally found invaluable in past titles like Odyssey. Its absence in Shadows was notably felt, with countless players expressing their desire for its return on several Reddit threads. I, too, had longed for this convenience since Day One, especially given the time-consuming nature of long treks. Thankfully, Title Update 1.0.2 addresses this issue, effortlessly guiding you to your marked destination with a simple click of a button.

Not only will the horse follow the pathway you've set, but its speed has also increased to maximize your time. Mainly, your steed's movement will feel faster in cities, a location that previously slowed down their speed.
Yasuke and Naoe's abilities receive a welcome overhaul alongside the exploration updates. The new update allows you to finally reset the skill tree's Mastery Nodes, enabling you to align your abilities with your playstyle better. With so many options available — across weapon classes, stealth, and tank builds — choosing the right path can be overwhelming. Luckily, this update will give you the freedom to experiment.
Title Update 1.0.2 also makes it easier with gear vendor exchanges by letting you tag items directly from the shop, whether for selling or dismantling. Considering how quickly your inventory fills up, I can't even count the times I've desperately needed this feature. With the new patch, any unwanted items can easily be directed toward something better, clearing the way for more valuable armor sets or other materials.
Plenty more quality-of-life improvements will enhance the overall AC: Shadows experience. One of the highlights is the addition of a shortcut to the Investigation Board: simply hold the Option button, and you'll be there instantly. No more jumping through hoops just to reach your mission objectives. Visuals and performances will also be enhanced, including PSSR support for the PS5 Pro and uncapped FPS rates at the Hideout.
The first major update will undoubtedly elevate Assassin's Creed Shadows to new heights, arriving on April 8, 2025, at 2 pm UTC/10 am EDT/7 am PT. Now, all that remains is an option to adjust the day and night cycle, and I'll be thoroughly content.

GTA 5 is coming back to Xbox Game Pass in April, and here's the release date and the version you will be able to play.
Table of Contents
When is GTA 5 coming back to Xbox Game Pass?
GTA 5 is coming back to Xbox Game Pass on April 15. If you haven't purchased the game yet and were looking forward to hitting the streets of Los Santos again on your Xbox or PC, you only have a little more than a week to wait at the time of writing.
For PC players, Microsoft and Rockstar Games have arranged a bonus as well.
Which GTA 5 edition can PC players play using Game Pass?
Rockstar has confirmed that you can play both the GTA V Enhanced and Legacy editions with PC Game Pass. You can even try the latest features, such as Hao's Special Works Vehicles and more.
Both Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard subscribers can access all console and PC editions. If you're already playing GTA 5 Enhanced on Steam, you can check out our guide on how to get Hao's Special Works car upgrade.
And in case you missed it, you can check out our guide on the difference between GTA 5 Enhanced and Legacy PC versions.
What online features can you access with GTA 5 Enhanced on PC?
According to the official blog, "Everyone playing GTA V Enhanced on PC will have access to new vehicles and modifications, Chameleon Paints, and a bunch more, all in Hao's Special Works."
Naturally, if you play the Legacy version instead, you'll miss out on these special features.
Is there a date when GTA 5 will be leaving Game Pass?
At the time of writing, no, Microsoft hasn't confirmed an official date for the game leaving Game Pass.
However, the last time this game and Red Dead Redemption 2 were playable using Microsoft's subscription system, the titles stayed for about six months before being rotated out of the roster. So it's reasonable to expect a similar time window for GTA 5's second stint here.
If things go according to plan, by the time GTA V leaves Game Pass, you could very well be enjoying GTA 6 on your Xbox or PS5.

Although I consider myself quite the puzzle connoisseur, I felt like a complete novice when faced with Blue Prince. It stands as one of — if not the most — challenging puzzle games I've encountered, and it does so in the most exquisitely rewarding manner.
Blue Prince is the debut creation of Dogubomb, an indie developer working alongside Raw Fury — the publisher behind games like Cassette Tapes and Call of the Sea. Enter the mansion of Mt. Holly, where your mission is to seek out the elusive Room 46 to prove your worthiness as the heir of the household. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, not exactly. The manor is less a home and more a shifting labyrinth, with its layouts transforming and resetting daily.
Another day, another puzzle
The day typically begins with three doors presented before you, depicting a layout similar to that of the Clue board game. Open one, and you'll be presented with the choice of three new areas — sometimes ones you've encountered before — whether it's a bedroom, pantry, or billiard room. It's the same cycle with the other destinations as if each one were a layer of a Russian doll, gradually unfolding to reveal what lies within.
![]()
Occasionally, the rooms unveil intricate puzzles, leading to hidden clues and rewards, while at other times, they offer nothing at all. It's the purest form of the thrill of the hunt, and I wholeheartedly revel in it. Yes, there are moments when it feels tedious, especially when opening already-discovered rooms or reaching a dead end. Yet, there are days when you're simply on a roll, discovering one new room after another. It feels almost like a trance, each step drawing me closer to the hope of uncovering Room 46 before the day ends.
The puzzles often take a traditional approach, presenting challenges you may be familiar with, such as the classic conundrum of three boxes: one that tells lies, one that tells the truth, and the last containing a prize. A simple deduction puzzle; however, some challenges have continued to perplex me despite countless hours spent in Blue Prince. One such puzzle involves a dartboard and a cryptic mathematical equation. To be honest, math has never been my strong suit, and the vague instructions made the solution feel nearly impossible to decipher. What's more, the answers to these challenges are never the same, so even if you manage to conquer one, you may find yourself struggling with it all over again the next time.
![]()
I view the puzzles in two lights: they're a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a fresh challenge. On the flip side, Blue Prince can quickly leave you stumped, proving to be overwhelmingly difficult at times. There were moments when I found myself with a headache just from overthinking. Blue Prince is far from casual; it demands your full attention, particularly with the intricate combination of puzzles within the rooms and the complexities of the house's layout. Heck, the game even suggests that you grab a notepad in real life to create your own personal guide.
You are also confined to a limited space, restricted to only 50 steps per day. This allowance can fluctuate, as certain rooms may either subtract from or add to your step count, depending on where you are. Any time you run out of steps, you must call it a day and see how far you'll get with the new day reset. Or, you can be like me and end the day out of pure frustration from challenges.
No detail is too small
In addition to the puzzles and the limited number of steps, you'll also need to exchange items to access certain rooms. These items, ranging from gems and keys to coins, pop up every once in a while, unlocking higher-tier rooms or acquiring unique tools. It's crucial to collect them, as failing to do so will lock you out of various areas. I found this aspect incredibly challenging, as it forces you to decide whether to enter a room for resources or venture into something entirely new with hidden surprises.
Fortunately, unlocking tools can help streamline your progress, from running shoes that aid in covering longer distances to sleep masks that offer step increases in bedrooms. While you'll most often acquire these items by solving puzzles or purchasing them from a shop-based room, you might also get lucky and find them casually resting on a table. That's another thing to stay alert to: you must keep your wits sharp and thoroughly analyze each room. There's always a hidden detail that could easily be overlooked, appearing in various forms: extra resources, a clue for a future puzzle, or deeper insight into the story.
There were countless times when I overlooked small details, only to realize later that I should have paid closer attention to them. Even a simple piece of paper with a few words from the beginning of your Blue Prince playthrough may prove invaluable later on, which is why keeping a notepad nearby is highly recommended. I'm particularly fond of how the smallest elements can evolve into something more significant down the line; there's something satisfying about knowing that even the tiniest details hold meaning. Exploring the room in its unique 3D art style is also a treat. Even if it's not the most vibrant, the subtle blending of dark colors enhances the enigmatic atmosphere of the manor.
![]()
Though the story isn't as overt as in other games, you can gain a deeper understanding of Blue Prince's lore through the items you collect along the way. Letters from staff, newspaper clippings, and other tidbits gradually reveal the mysteries of the mansion. It's a subtle approach, but I appreciate how new pieces of information surface over time as if you're slowly uncovering the fragments of a much larger puzzle.
With all these elements combined, Blue Prince emerges as a masterful puzzle game. It's challenging, addictive, and will keep you engaged for hours, with multiple playthroughs required for the rare chance of discovering Room 46. If you're in search of a puzzle game that offers no hand-holding and no easy paths to follow, Blue Prince is the perfect choice. It may be tough to conquer, but the sense of accomplishment that comes with unraveling its complexities is unparalleled to any puzzle game I've played before.
This new puzzle experience will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on April 10, 2025. It's also available on Day One for Xbox Game Pass users, so no waiting is required.

The invitations have been sent out, and Emma Frost cordially invites us all to join her for the Hellfire Gala, season two's overarching theme in Marvel Rivals. There's plenty of fresh content to explore, so you need to know exactly when you can start playing.
New playable characters, fresh maps, skins, and so much more are available in this new chapter. You don't want to miss out on any of this exciting content, so playing as soon as possible is essential. Here's when season two of Marvel Rivals, Hellfire Gala, will begin.
Table of contents
When does Marvel Rivals season 2 start?
![]()
Marvel Rivals season two officially begins on April 11. The devs haven't specified a launch time so far, but it's expected to be released at the same time as season one, so at 3am CT.
Our countdown is set to precisely this time, and we'll update all relevant details here if the launch time is changed. You can check back here to see how much longer you have to wait, and we've also listed the exact start time across major time zones in case you want to know the precise start time for your area.
How long is season 2 of Marvel Rivals?
Marvel Rivals season two will last for exactly three months, the same amount of time as season one. After this, though, all future seasons will only last for two months, with a new hero launching each month moving forward.
![]()
What's included in Marvel Rivals season 2?
The patch notes for Marvel Rivals season two have already been unveiled, so we have a pretty solid idea of what to expect. There's new content for just about everything featured in the game, including additional playable characters, maps, skins, and more.
The first new hero launching this season is Emma Frost. She's a super tanky Vanguard with psychic powers and impenetrable diamond skin. Her kit is extremely flexible and versatile for most combat situations. The way you play her also changes depending on whether or not you've got her Diamond Form activated, so there's a lot you can do with her.
Team-ups are going to look a bit different in season two. Some of them are being adjusted, while others are being completely removed. Metallic Chaos and Voltaic Union are gone, while Mental Projection, Stars Aligned, and Arcane Order join the lineup.
Emma Frost's Hellfire Gala is taking place at Krakoa, which means we get a fresh map to play on. Krakoa is a mutant island and haven for all mutantkind. It also has plenty of X-Men Easter eggs, like a statue of Professor X and Logan, Psylocke's pet.
![]()
Lots of buffs and nerfs are kicking off the start of season two. Black Widow, Bruce Banner/Hulk, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Peni Parker, Mister Fantastic, Moon Knight, and Scarlet Witch are getting enhancements. Adam Warlock, Loki, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Invisible Woman, Magneto, Star-Lord, Winter Soldier, Rocket Raccoon, Wolverine, and The Thing are getting nerfed.
Season two also introduces the Hellfire Gala battle pass. There are plenty of new outfits, nameplates, emotes, MVP screens, sprays, and more you can unlock by completing it. Most of the Hellfire Gala outfits you can get are obtainable through this pass, although some are shop or event items like the Scarlet Witch Chaos Gown skin.
We don't know much about the second half of season two yet, but we can expect to see one new hero and a few other fresh features. This likely includes another map, plenty of additional outfits, adjustments to playable characters' abilities, and a few events. Ultron is expected to be the second hero released this season since he is featured in the season two trailer, but outside of this information, we'll have to wait until the second half of season two is closer to learn more.

A mainstay of Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts of years past is back as part of Black Ops 6's season three, continuing the theme of awesome features returning to the battle royale mode.
The Monolithic Suppressor was a must-use muzzle attachment on any gun it fit back in Warzone's heyday of 2020 and 2021, as its combination of suppressing sound and buffing damage range was a necessity in Verdansk. It's just another of several returning weapons, features, vehicles, and more to come alongside Verdansk's return in the April 2025 season for CoD's BR.
"Monolithic Core provides superior sound suppression and increased range," Activision said of the attachment. "Moderate weight increase affects agility. The ideal attachment for extending your damage range on big maps like Verdansk while retaining the concealment provided by a suppressor."
This suppressor is also one of the most versatile in the game, as it can be equipped on almost all the guns available in BO6, including all assault rifles (except for the AS VAL), SMGs, shotguns, LMGs, marksman rifles, sniper rifles, and pistols.
Here's everything you need to know about how to get the Monolithic Suppressor to your collection of Gunsmith attachments in BO6 and Warzone.
How to get the Monolithic Suppressor in BO6 and Warzone
![]()
The Monolithic Suppressor is a reward as part of BO6's season three battle pass, and it can be found on page seven. To quickly get to page seven, unlock as many rewards as possible until the page becomes accessible, and then use one of your battle pass tokens to unlock it.
You can also use the BlackCell Battle Pass's instant page unlock to unlock page seven early, but you may want to save that for one of the other new items in season three, like the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle or HDR sniper rifle. But the choice is up to you if you purchase the BlackCell.
In BO6 Warzone, the new Monolithic Suppressor increases Bullet Velocity and Damage Range but nerfs your Aim Walking Steadiness and Aim Down Sight Speed quite a bit, so it's up to you to decide if the trade-off is worth it or not.
If you don't want to grind season three or get the BlackCell pass, there's another option. Once season three of BO6 comes to an end, the Monolithic Suppressor will be moved to the Armory, where it will be listed as an Armory Unlock, along with whatever else you did not grab during past seasons or events, such as other weapons or attachments.
![]()
After season three, you can find and unlock the Monolithic Suppressor by doing the following:
After that, all that's left to do is play Warzone or BO6, earn XP, and the attachment will be yours before you know it. Use some double XP tokens if you wish to expedite the process, and then get ready to use the suppressor across all modes for some added range while staying silent.
There isn't a rush to get the Monolithic Suppressor since it will be unlockable past season three, but it is one of the best attachments in the game to put on several of the best guns to use in Warzone, so I do recommend picking it up whenever you can.

The next game from the makers of Destiny and Halo is finally set for a full reveal this weekend after a lengthy alternate reality game over the last few days.
Marathon is a new entry in Bungie's 1994 release of the same name, this time with an extraction shooter twist and some of the freshest aesthetics in a game I've seen in a very, very long time. And that's enough to get almost any gamer excited just by how pretty it all looks.
After the game's community came together over the weekend to hunt clues and solve puzzles released cryptically by Bungie, the studio finally confirmed that the full gameplay reveal of Marathon will take place this Saturday, April 12, at 1pm ET.
"Marathon is a team-based extraction shooter and the first completely new project from Bungie, the creators of Halo and Destiny, in more than a decade," Bungie said. "Set on the mysterious planet of Tau Ceti IV, Marathon will see players inhabit the bodies of Runners, cybernetic mercenaries who have been designed to survive the planet's harsh environments. While exploring the lost colony that once inhabited the surface, players will search for valuable loot including new weapons and gear."
The game sounds like it will be part extraction shooter, part hero shooter, with each Runner having their own ability set, customizations, and more. But other than that, the game has been shrouded in secrecy and very little information since its debut trailer almost two years ago.
Since then, so little was heard about the game that worry began to spread that the title was going through some development hell, or worse, set to become another target of layoffs or cancellations in a recent wave of both under PlayStation. Sony purchased Bungie for $3.6 billion in 2022, likely banking on some big success from Marathon on top of continued live-service sales in Destiny 2.
As a Destiny 2 player with well over 2,000 hours in the looter-shooter game, I am very excited to see what Bungie has been able to come up with in a different genre, with a truly unique art style. If the gameplay loop is addicting, along with Bungie's trademark solid FPS gunplay, then Marathon could be a big game to keep an eye on this year and beyond.
The Marathon gameplay reveal live stream kicks off on April 12 at noon ET on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.

Schedule 1 has tons of equipment and tools to collect as you level up. As you buy upgrades, certain items will become redundant and sit on your shelves for eternity. While you can discard these, selling them is an entirely different conversation.
Table of contents
How to sell old tools and items in Schedule 1
Yes, you can sell old tools and items in Schedule 1 at the Pawn Shop south of the Motel. While the game previously had no way to sell old equipment you purchased from shops like Dan's Hardware store or Gas-Mart, that has since changed with the introduction of the Pawn Shop.
![]()
Historically, the Pawn Shop only allowed you to knock on the door to talk to whoever was inside, but it now has selling and haggling functionality. It won't let you sell your special products, but you can use old trimmers, machines, trash grabbers, and other tools to get some money back. You won't get anywhere near what you originally paid for them, but at least you won't have to discard as many items as you used to.
Schedule 1 Pawn Shop location
The Pawn Shop is directly south of the Motel in front of the Warehouse. Like most businesses, it's open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and has an ATM inside, making it easy to run in, sell items, and leave in the middle of the day. Unlike other shops, the Pawn Shop only deals with cash, so you won't have to worry about ATM deposit limits.
![]()
The Pawn Shop is operated by Mick Lubbin, an NPC you can sell to early in your playthrough. Talking to him and asking to sell items will initiate a bargaining system, letting you make a little extra money if you haggle for better prices. However, if his temper gets too high, he'll start beating you up and potentially kill you, bringing you back to your last save if you're in singleplayer or sending you to a medical center if you're in multiplayer. It's worth trying, but be careful not to push your luck too far.
How to discard and drop items in Schedule 1
![]()
Although you can sell items at the Pawn Shop, Schedule 1 doesn't let you drop them. However, you can discard items by heading into your inventory, selecting them, and dragging them to the Discard box on the bottom-right side of your screen. That way, although you won't make money from your old gear, they won't take up space on your storage shelves or inventory.
