The video game industry faces a long-overdue reckoning. The average game developer is underpaid relative to the generous bonuses and shareholder payouts enjoyed by the CEOs above them, and recent reports and lawsuits have uncovered a wide range of mistreatment across companies big and small. Many feel that something…

When it was announced that Nintendo's former headquarters was going to be turned into a hotel, I imagined the worse case scenario: a cheesy cash-in to make some quick yen. That certainly doesn't appear to be the end result. The hotel looks to be a stunning celebration of Nintendo's heritage.

Remember how hard it used to be to watch anime? Depending on where you called home, it was once difficult, if not impossible, to check out the latest shows.      Epic's next free game is a roguelike with genetics

Another week has just about wrapped up, which means it's time to get a peek at what the next free PC game will be on the Epic Games Store. This week, you can grab a free copy of the first Total War: Warhammer, but once that offer wraps up, you'll be able to pick up platformer roguelike game Rogue Legacy, starting April 7.

Rogue Legacy casts you as a plucky adventurer set to purge a castle of the evil within, while picking up lots of loot on the way. As a roguelike, the layout changes with every run, but you'll be able to suss out how the various parts tend to fit together after you've made a few attempts. It's tough going at first though, and you'll need to buy better gear and find new abilities in order to survive long enough to take on the challenging bosses.

The 'legacy' part kicks in whenever you die - which will probably happen pretty frequently. Each time that happens, one of your children will take up your quest, and you'll be able to pick which one you want to take into the dungeon. They'll each have inherited some strange trait from their parents, and those traits include things like gigantism, colour-blindness, or irritable bowel syndrome.

How to recover the missing Fortnite battle bus plans

Want to know where to recover the missing Fortnite battle bus plans? As part of the second week of resistance challenges to fight back against the Imagined Order in Fortnite, you need to find the schematics for a new, hardier battle bus. These challenges begin by establishing communications with an uplink in specific spots on the map.

In addition to recovering the missing Fortnite battle bus plans, this week's other resistance challenges ask you to fuel up a car and take it out for a test drive. You'll also need to seek out one of the many Fortnite tank locations to steal its armour plating and hijack one of these armoured juggernauts to bring back to the Seven.

To help you finish the first part of this week's resistance challenges quickly, we have all of the Fortnite battle bus plans locations you can head to once you activate the communications link. After you complete the first week of Resistance challenges, you only need to start one communications link and collect one of the three missing battle bus plans in any area to complete the challenge.

GTA podium car: here's what vehicle you can win in GTA Online

What is the GTA podium car this week? GTA Online vehicles are expensive things, so we're happy to take a spin on the Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel to get a discount. Winning isn't guaranteed, sure, but it isn't out of the question either. Look, we don't have a problem - leave it alone.

Finding out what the GTA Online podium car is simple enough - it's winning it that's the challenge. You can spin the Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel once a day, and each Podium Car refreshes after seven days on a Thursday. Basically, you have seven shots to get the vehicle of that given week. If you own a Penthouse, you can spin it for free, but if you don't it's $500 a spin. Don't fret if you don't win, as you can try for something else.

You have a one in 20 chance of getting the podium vehicle, a car discount, or a mystery prize. There's a four in 20 chance of getting clothes, chips, and cash. Finally, there's a five in 20 chance of getting RP. On that note, here's everything you need to know about this week's GTA podium car.

GTA Online Prize Ride challenge and rewards

Want to know about the GTA Online Prize Ride challenge? The Los Santos Tuners update introduced plenty of new content, all focused on the city's underground tuner scene. There's a new 'social space', called the LS Car Meet, where you can show off your souped-up cars, race with fellow gearheads, and take on jobs - here's how to join the LS Car Meet in the Los Santos Tuners update.

If you want to know what the GTA Prize Ride reward is, there are some other things you need to know first. Throughout your time spent in the Car Meet, you can level up your reputation and unlock new benefits as you progress. There's also a huge Test Track inside the warehouse, where you can try out Test Rides - a great opportunity to take different vehicles for a spin.

Becoming an LS Car Meet member sets you back $50,000 in-game bucks, but it grants you access to a bunch of underground shops - the Merch Shop, Tattoo Shop, and a Modding Area where you can tweak your car in real time. At higher levels, you can create your own customised area in the Car Meet, called a Private Takeover. LS Car Meet members can also compete in Prize Ride challenges, in order to be in with a chance to win a Prize Ride.

Diablo-style RPG Superfuse lets you design your abilities

In any Diablo-style action RPG game, part of the fun is in getting your build set up just right: the right gear, the right abilities, and the right class. Superfuse, coming to Early Access later this year, goes one step further - it lets you get under the hood and modify the programming of your hero's abilities. We had a chance to try it out during GDC, and came away impressed that this powerful system doesn't break the game.

Revealed this week, Superfuse takes some visual inspiration from the Borderlands series, with a comic book style that uses heavy ink strokes and screen-printed textures to evince a hand-illustrated style. I play as one of the Enforcers, a superhuman race of mutant soldiers created by the galaxy's elite 1% to rein herd on the rest of the population - who may have gotten it into their heads that corporate rulers becoming gods might not have been a great idea after all.

The tone, then, is a mix of cyberpunk and Watchmen, but the brilliant bit is in how I'm given fine control over the way my abilities work. By spending points, I can tweak each skill I use, altering its damage output, its recharge rate, or even the circumstances that trigger it.

Weird West review – immersive RPG glee, let down by wonky AI

Weird West's depiction of the American frontier isn't just full of surly gunmen, tumbleweeds, and dusty trails. This take on cowboy country is also a powder keg of supernatural schemers and brutal beasties, and it's when ordinary elements bump up against the otherworldly that the game world booms with personality and a sense of place, making you want to bash every barrel and poke your head through every doorway in case you miss something.

The winding story of this RPG game follows five protagonists from very different walks of life, all linked by the same common denominator: they're all possessed by you. You are literally inhabiting their bodies, taking over their lives at pivotal moments and using your wits and their corporeal forms to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding how you came to be such a people person.

Admittedly, playing as a ghost isn't at all unusual by Weird West's standards. The world, created in part by founders of Arkane Studios, is teeming with fantastical and often horrifying creatures like flesh-eating sirens, savage pigmen, and cave terrors. Factions of witches dedicate their lives to wielding dark magic, while enterprising travellers sell trinkets to ward off ill omens. The mixture of mysticism and horror blends well with the sense of adventure and danger common in Westerns - it often feels more like an over-the-top Robert Rodriguez romp than a contemplative Sergio Leone flick.

GTA Online's weekly update boosts Lamar missions

Once again Thursday is upon us, which means it's time for the GTA Online weekly update, and as always players are already hard at work digging out all the juicy updates ahead of the official patch notes from Rockstar Games later on.

This week's rewards boots are on Lamar missions, Bunker Sell missions, Special Cargo missions, and select Survival Modes, all of which will double up your in-game cash and reputation points rewards, making it a great time to cash in if you've been stockpiling. Meanwhile, Tuner Races are offering up twice the normal reputation boost. Players with GTA+ membership can claim triple reputation rewards in Street Races, though this paid "feature" is limited to those on the newest console hardware.

If you're after some fancy new digs, high-end apartments are available at a 30% discount. If a new set of wheels is more your style, the stylish Jester RR sports coupe is 40% off. Alternatively, you can nab yourself a Savestra as the elusive GTA podium vehicle if you get lucky spinning the Diamond Casino wheel, or earn this week's GTA Prize Ride, the Itali GTO, for five top-three finishes in LS Car Meet races.

Intel Arc Alchemist GPU – release date, price, specs, and benchmarks

Arc Alchemist has arrived, and the new Intel GPU could compete with the best graphics cards by Nvidia and AMD. Not only does the new graphics brand boast gaming PC features like AI-enhanced Xe Supersampling – or XeSS for short – but Deep Link Technology aims to boost performance in hardware-accelerated tasks.

Intel has managed to keep its Alchemist cards mostly under wraps, but this hasn't stopped benchmarks and spec sheets leaking ahead of the official launch date. First revealed in August, team blue was expected to pull back the curtain on its Xe-HPG based graphics cards during CES 2022, but unfortunately didn't share even a crumb of new details.

The Arc Alchemist Intel graphics card lineup faces stiff competition from the likes of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3000 and AMD's RX 6000 cards, and next-gen GPU options could pile on more pressure this year. That said, team blue has long term plans for its armada of Arc graphics options, and we could see the company release new contenders every year up to 2025.

The best Elden Ring talismans and their locations

Want to know about Elden Ring talismans? Talismans are Elden Ring's version of rings from previous Souls games. Each talisman bestows a passive buff, with effects ranging from general boons like faster stamina regen to increased damage for the final attack in a twinblade combo.

An array of different Elden Ring talismans can be found in the fantasy game's vast open world; you can find some in treasure chests in Elden Ring dungeons, some drop as loot from enemies and bosses, and others can be bought from merchants. As you progress to more challenging areas, you will encounter upgraded versions of talismans with increased effects. You can expand the number of talismans you can equip at the same time using Talisman Pouches.

Though their utility will vary based on your Elden Ring build and playstyle, talismans provide a much needed helping hand when it comes to taking on Elden Ring bosses. To help you formulate your strategy, we've put together a list of some of the best talismans available in the game, as well as information on where you find them and how to get more pouches.

Destiny 2: what is the Legendary Lost Sector today?

Are you looking for the Legend or Master Lost Sector locations in Destiny 2? While many Destiny 2 Exotics can be bought from Xûr or even in the world loot pool, the Exotics in these special Lost Sector instances cannot, forcing players to explore these dangerous areas if they want the best equipment available. To make matters worse, you have to complete them on your own to get a chance at the best rewards.

The location for the Legend and Master Lost Sector quests appear with the daily reset at 5pm UTC. Before you can take on Legend Lost Sectors, you need to complete all the normal Lost Sectors first. If you don't, the new Legend Lost Sectors will not appear on the map. Each day, the location, modifiers, and rewards rotate out for something new. As of Season of the Risen, the Legend and Master Lost Sector quests both take place in the same location.

It's important to remember that Exotic drops are not guaranteed after completing these quests, so you may have to run through the same Lost Sector multiple times. You can go through them quests with a fireteam, but your rewards will be reduced to Enhancement Cores only.

Best power supply for a gaming PC in 2022

The problem with crowning the best power supply for a gaming PC is that every system's PSU requirements are different. Not only is the wattage an important consideration, but the size of rigs can widely vary, meaning that there really is no 'one size fits all' solution. That said, we're confident that you'll find something that caters to you in our shortlist.

You might not necessarily consider your power supply to be the most critical part of your PC, but if the best gaming CPU effectively act as the brain of a system, then a PSU is the heart of your rig. Think about it, the unit provides the lifeblood that is electricity to your hardware, while its array of cables might even resemble a mess of arteries and veins at a glance.

If you invest in a quality power supply, it'll likely become the longest standing member of your rig throughout years of upgrades. However, as costly as some PSUs can be, there are plenty out there for builders looking to push their budget a little further too.

How to unlock The Chasm in Genshin Impact

Want to know how to get into the Chasm in Genshin Impact? This new mining area has finally been unlocked as part of the 2.6 update, and comes in two parts. There's a surface area, and an underground section that you will need to unlock in order to explore. The Chasm is located to the west of Qingxu Pool and Lingju Pass.

The region has been teased since update 2.5, but you will be able to unlock The Chasm in Genshin Impact once you've met the criteria. Getting to the surface section is easy - you simply walk in. There are four teleport waypoints you can unlock on the surface to help you get around, and The Chasm Lost Valley domain is also located above ground.

Getting into the underground area near The Chasm's Maw in the centre requires you to break the seal first, but it's not difficult. Here's a quick guide to everything you need to know in order to get to The Chasm in Genshin Impact so you can waste no time exploring this new area of Teyvat.

Genshin Impact tier list: the best characters in the 2.6 update

Looking for a Genshin Impact tier list? There are currently 50 Genshin Impact characters available, so there's no shortage of candidates for your dream team. But with so many different weapon, elementals, talents, ascension bonuses, and constellations upgrades, finding your favourites can be challenging.

Don't let the placement of the characters on our Genshin Impact tier list deter you from pulling on the next character banner. While base stats and elemental abilities are important, the value of a character also depends on personal playstyle, available weapons and artifacts, and team composition. That being said, if your favourite character is in C tier or below, you may struggle to get past some of the more challenging Spiral Abyss floors. Don't worry too much if your favourite character is on one of the lower tiers; you can still make it work with our recommended Genshin Impact builds.

In general, being on a high tier means that the character is the best Genshin Impact character in their role, is not too difficult to build, and performs well regardless of teammates. Being on a lower tier means that there are better alternatives, or the character needs a very specific build or team to shine. Just to note, the characters are not ranked within their own tier, and with that out of the way, let's take a look at our ranking of characters in our Genshin Impact tier list!

League of Legends patch 12.7 notes – Arcana skins

League of Legends patch 12.7 notes are starting to make their way onto the PBE, folks. While LoL patch 12.6 has only just been released, Riot Games is wasting no time getting to work on what's next for the MOBA game.

The 12.6 update has plenty to keep you occupied while Riot works on the next patch. The fashion-conscious among us have some new LoL Anima Squad skins to check out, which may be good news if you're a fan of Vayne, Miss Fortune, or Jinx. Rengar has also got a pretty hefty rework, while Hecarim has got some much-needed nerfs to rein them in a tad.

While it's early days for patch 12.7, we've got a wee glimpse of what's coming our way. Riot has revealed that we're getting Arcane skins for Ahri, Xayah, Rakan, Ryze, and Hecarim, which essentially gives the LoL champions a warm red glow and some new duds. As is often the case this early into a new patch cycle, there are no champion, item, or rune balance changes on the PBE to eyeball just yet, but do keep checking back on these notes each day, as a bunch will likely appear soon. We'll be sure to post everything you need to know right here.

Diablo meets The Boys is the four-word elevator pitch of Stitch Heads and Raw Fury's new isometric hack and slasher - and judging from the amount of loot, blood and minced limbs I saw in my hands on demo last week, I'd say they're pretty bang on the money, albeit with an extra dash of Borderlands thanks to its cel-shaded comic book visuals. Whichever way you slice it, though, Superfuse makes a striking and violent first impression.

Perhaps it's because I'm playing as its Berserker class, a large walking slab of man muscle whose axe and (comically large) fists can pulverise anything and everything standing in its way. Or maybe it's because the devs have given me free rein of the game's extensive skill tree, letting me pile in dozens of points into attacks, abilities and power-ups normally reserved for later on. Superfuse may be a loot-driven hack and slash with hundreds of different weapons and armour components to pick from, but its skill tree is equally vast, giving you as much flexibility in how your attacks play out onscreen as your various wardrobe choices - and some of its effects are deliciously gory.

"Graveyard's full," says Timothy Hall, the man prodding the bones of the piano at the saloon in Grackle. It's a concise expression of everything the town's been through: the rampaging bandits, the cannibal kidnappings, the swirling tornados. Filling the graveyard has been a solemn bid for order in the wake of so much chaos.

It's not that way in Bripton, the next town over. The graveyard there is uncannily empty, save for a similarly bare tree. But you can change that, should you so choose: shoot up the bank or fight a duel and, the next time you return to that settlement, new plots will have appeared for every life snuffed out. Weird West even suggests you head to the local cemetery to loot any bodies you've missed - though its reputational system implies you should ensure nobody's watching first.

Nightmare Reaper is rad, which is something I didn't think I'd say. DOOM and its DOOM-like spawn don't often do it for me. Bouncing around an arena and carving demons into hunks of meat gets a bit repetitive for my tastes. Which is weird! I love FPS games and repetitive things, like dying in Hades over and over again.

I'm into Nightmare Reaper because it's repetitive... but not. It's a roguelike DOOM-inspired shooter where you blast through procedurally-generated levels and their demonic denizens, earn cash, put points into a skill-tree, and get as far as you can. The quest for loot has elevated this from a potential "Meh" to a solid, "Oh yeah".

Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi PS5 Will Show Up This Summer

During New Game Plus Expo 2022, Aksys pinned down the PS5 release window for Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi. Experience's first-person dungeon-crawler with turn-based battles will show up on the system in Summer 2022. This fits in with what the company already promised. When it came up before, it had a general 2022 launch window.

This means it will arrive almost a year after the other versions appeared outside Japan. Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi first appeared on the Xbox One in Japan in June 2020. Nintendo Switch and PS4 versions followed in the region in October 2020. Aksys picked up the game, with it appearing in North America in October 2021 on the PS4, Switch, and Xbox One and in November 2021 on PCs. Numskull Games handled the Australian and European console releases in February 2022.

In Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, you're exploring the tower mentioned in the title. You create a group of explorers who head in to search for treasures and fight the monsters and other people within. As expected from an Experience game, your party members are characters you create, choosing their names, appearances, and roles in the party.

Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi will come to the PS5 in Summer 2022.

At New Game Plus Expo, Aksys announced it is handling the English release of the Switch otome game Jack Jeanne. It also offered a release window for the game. It will show up outside Japan in 2023. As a reminder, it first debuted in Japan back in March 2021.

We did already know that an English version of Jack Jeanne was in the works, thanks to Broccoli confirming the Switch release. It first ended up teased back in 2019. Then in the middle of March 2022, English and Traditional Chinese localizations were confirmed. However, no release window was offered and it was unknown which company would be handling the localization and publishing duties.

Jack Jeanne is both a Switch otome game and rhythm game. This is because the heroine, Kisa Tachibana, is attempting to pursue the dream of becoming an actor and attending the school her brother did. Except he went to an all-boys school. She does still have a chance to go. However, she must hide that she is a woman and get the leading part in the final play. Along the way, she'll potentially fall in love with her fellow students and build up her stats to earn the part. Also, as a reminder, Tokyo Ghoul series creator Sui Ishida is behind the game.

Here's the English trailer for the otome game.

Jack Jeanne is available on the Nintendo Switch in Japan and will appear in English worldwide in 2023.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 Banner

People won't have to wait too much longer for Inti Creates' next game. At New Game Plus Expo 2022, the company revealed the Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 release date. It will appear on the eShop on July 28, 2022. There will also be a physical release. Limited Run Games will be handling it.

As a reminder, we already had an idea this would be coming. At New Game Plus Expo 2021, Inti Creates showed it off and revealed a 2022 launch window.

Here's the official Azur Striker Gunvolt 3 video with Executive Producer and Action Supervisor Keiji Inafune that reveals the release date. It also shows a bit of gameplay footage.

As usual, this will be an action game. However, there will be two protagonists this time around. Gunvolt will be joined by Kirin. A new Fullmetal Alchemist Ed and Al figure is on the way, and it is both elaborate and expensive. Good Smile Company revealed a $2,199.99/¥220,000 figure of the Elric brothers. It is a non-scale figure based on their Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood appearances. It is expected to appear first in Japan in July 2023. Then in September 2023, it will show up in North America. Pre-orders are open, but this is also a situation in which they are limited and could run out.

The figure is designed to show both Ed and Al in the middle of a fight. Electricity surrounds them, there's dust on the ground, and both characters are in an active pose. Ed is using the pillar Al is holding to prepare to leap and attack.

Here's a closer look at the figure from various angles.

The Nendoroid is just under 4 inches tall, as it is about 100mm. The Ed and Al figure will be about 405mm, which is just about 16 inches tall. It will also be 420mm long (~17in) and 580mm deep (~23in).

Valis Collection 2 for Nintendo Switch will include Valis IV

The Nintendo Switch will get more ports of classic Valis games. Edia announced that it has started developing Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection 2 for the console. It will contain the 1991 PC Engine release of Valis IV and the Mega Drive (Sega Genesis) versions of Valis: The Fantasm Soldier and SD Valis.

SD Valis was an arranged version of Valis II with chibi character designs, while Valis IV was the final mainline title in the series. Even though the SNES version of Super Valis IV is available in the North American Nintendo Switch Online lineup, there were many changes from the original release. The inclusion of Valis IV in the new collection will complete the original PC Engine tetralogy on the Switch.

Edia had previously compiled the first three titles and released them on Nintendo Switch in late 2021. It also released the English localization of Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection on the North American Nintendo Store on February 10, 2022.

The company will release the second collection in a similar way to the first one. It will first hold a crowdfunding session where people in Japan can literally pre-order the package with additional bonuses. Afterward. it will put up the compilation on Nintendo eShop.

Just like the first collection, players will be able to rewind their playthroughs with a new feature not available on the original platforms. The compilation will also include art and music gallery modes.

Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection 2, which contains Valis IVSD Valis, and the Sega Genesis version of Valis, will be available on Nintendo Switch.

Yae Miko Changes Nerf Her Power in Genshin Impact 2.6

After the Genshin Impact 2.6 update, miHoYo released a statement noting changes made to Yae Miko. However, since the patch went through, people are reporting issues with the change to the character. Namely, it adjusts the Sesshou Sakura "turrets" placed with her Elemental Skill. However, in practice, people are reporting this acting as a Yae Miko nerf.

When miHoYo announced the change, it noted the Yae Miko Elemental Skill changes would affect how it targets Genshin Impact's enemies. It specifically noted two things were being altered. In the exact words, it said there would be "adjustments to the mechanisms by which enemies are targeted" and "mass optimization to character enemy selection logic based on 1., aimed at fixing targeting issues." The goal would be to make it easier for people to specifically target certain enemies when placing each Sesshou Sakura.

However, in practice, it is resulting in a nerf that can keep Yae Miko from doing damage in some cases and applying Electro to a large group in others. Players who own the character took to sites like Reddit to share their experiences. In one test example with no enemies around, a person tried to use her Elemental Skill to destroy a Hilichurl tower. Instead, the Sesshou Sakura targeted a nearby fallen branch. Another example video showed that if an enemy is carrying a shield, the towers will only target that one foe and not unguarded enemies near it. As a result, the towers would do no damage.

In miHoYo's announcement regarding the update, it did say it will be watching, listening to players, and potentially fixing Yae Miko again.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. It will eventually come to the Nintendo Switch.

Final Fantasy XIV Yoshi-P hopes for the future, thoughts on Endwalker

In an interview with Famitsu, Final Fantasy XIV Producer Naoki Yoshida, or Yoshi-P, shared his hopes for the future of the MMORPG. While he stated that there will be many changes that will occur between Patch 6.1 and Patch 6.5, he shared his personal thoughts and feelings about the evolution of the game. In the interview, he elaborated on what he believes has made FFXIV such a success, as well as how the players' lived experiences within the game contribute to this. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Yoshi-P revealed he had a feeling of catharsis once Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker released, as the story that the team had effectively worked on for 10 years had come to a close. However, he went on to say that it wasn't just the story that made Endwalker an emotional experience:

It was more than the story that made me emotional, it was also the fact that players live within this world (FFXIV) and have everyday experiences. Stand-alone single player RPGs definitely cannot make the same kind of impact. However, now that the story of Hydaelyn and Zodiark is over, I hope those people will continue to join us and move forward to relive this sense of excitement. I believe that Patch 6.1 is the first step towards this new goal, and up to Patch 6.5 there will be many changes.

The team would like to further develop the foundation of the game from here. Yoshi-P hopes players will continue to enjoy Final Fantasy XIV and potentially enjoy it more in the future than they do now. However, players won't have to wait much longer as Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1 is scheduled to arrive sometime in mid-April 2022.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1 New Characters

In an interview with Dengeki, Final Fantasy XIV Producer Naoki Yoshida revealed new characters will appear in Patch 6.1 However, while new characters will be introduced to the player characters, this doesn't mean that fan favorites will simply disappear. Yoshida mentioned that it would be impossible to "sever the bonds" created with the Scions and other characters forged throughout the story. That said, Final Fantasy XIV players can expect to see some new characters once Patch 6.1 arrives. [Thanks, Dengeki!]

Specifically, Yoshida said this:

New characters will appear, but that's really all I can say for now. However, we are simply not just adding new characters for the sake of furthering the story. I don't believe that it would be right to think that just because we are entering a new chapter, that all of the things the Warrior of Light has built up until now would just disappear. It would be impossible to sever the bonds the player has created with these characters throughout their journey.

With the saga of Hydaelyn and Zodiark having come to a close, Yoshida explained that characters like Alphinaud, for example, will be able to focus on other objectives. This will set the path for where the next part of the Warrior of Light's journey will begin. Although, there will be a cliffhanger that will leave players asking questions.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1 will release sometime in mid-April 2022, bringing new characters.

The actual Code Geass characters will also appear in the Love Live mobile game for the duration of the event. In addition to the event storyline, they will appear as guests in Live Arena sessions. The time-limited Arena will feature "Colors" and "Yukyoseisyunka," the first opening and ending songs for the first season of Lelouch of the Rebellion.

Final Fantasy XIV FFXIV Dragonsongs Reprise Raid Ultimate Dragonsong's

Final Fantasy XIV (FXIV) Producer Naoki Yoshida sat down with Famitsu to detail content that will be appearing in the MMO with the release of Patch 6.1. This included details about the FFXIV Dragonsong's Reprise, or Dragonsong Ultimate, and just how difficult it will potentially be. The Epic of Alexander was brought up in the interview, and Yoshida revealed that Dragonsong's Reprise will be more comparable to the FFXIV The Unending Coils of Bahamut raid. However, he did state that it could potentially take casual players anywhere from four to five months to complete Dragonsong Ultimate. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

However, Yoshida did not want to elaborate too much on the content to avoid delving into potential spoilers for those eager to play the next Ultimate raid. That said, he still shared some information about how it compares to previous Ultimate content:

I'm not worried about those aiming for "World First," but for those who will be clearing the content slowly... Well, it might take a bit longer I think... Players who aim for "World First" have had their understanding of Final Fantasy XIV tested. I can't say that Dragonsong's Reprise won't have any gimmicks, but it is more like The Unending Coils of Bahamut. There will be quite a fair amount of gimmicks, so please look forward to it.

Yoshida also revealed that Dragonsong Ultimate will potentially take 20 minutes to complete. He further mentioned that he personally checked the contents of the raid during its production.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1 will release sometime in mid-April 2022.

FFXIV Myths of the Realm Raid

In an interview, Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) Producer Naoki Yoshida shared more information about the Myths of the Realm raid. Specifically, Yoshida elaborated on the story-focused aspects of the raid. The Myths of the Realm raid will explore and elaborate on the Twelve, which are the deities of Eorzea. Previously, an image of an area that will appear in the first part of the raid was shared during a Letter from the Producer Live. Players will be able to experience the first part of the Myths of the Realm raid in FFXIV with the arrival of Patch 6.1. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

In regards to the story of the Myths of the Realm raid, Yoshida said this:

In Endwalker, we answered the question behind the myths of Zodiark and Hydaelyn, but there is still the question about the Twelve, Eorzea's Gods, that remain. It seems that Louisoix Leveilleur used the power of the Twelve to create the seal to Bahamut during the Seventh Umbral Era and save the Warrior of Light. But is this really the power of the Twelve? It's a mystery that still remains in the world, so we would like to elaborate on it. I think those that like the world setting and the story of Final Fantasy XIV will enjoy the raid.

The Myths of the Realm raid was announced in June 2021. Producer Naoki Yoshida revealed that it would be an entirely original story. This means that it will be unlike the Return to Ivalice raid or the YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse raid series, as both raids sample from IPs unrelated to Final Fantasy XIV. Additionally, Yoshida mentioned that the Myths of the Realm raids will include quite a few gimmicks to throw players off.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1 will release sometime in mid-April 2022.
