NIKKE Gets Rapi: Red Hood Character Popularity Poll Costume

In December 2024, Shift Up added a Rapi: Red Hood alt to Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and she went on to win the Character Popularity Poll 3 in April 2025, and now a free costume is being given away to celebrate that victory. Cherished Red and a number of other bonuses, as well as an event, will appear after maintenance ends on October 16, 2025. The update will also include a new character called Delta: Ninja Thief and Go! Ninja Thief! event that features her and the return of the Miranda - Thief of Justice costume.

There are two parts to the Rapi: Red Hood celebration, with the Cherished Red costume and other rewards available longer than the event starring the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE character. The shorter of the two is "Yes, My Commander." That focuses on Rapi in quieter, happier times. That can only be experienced between October 16-29, 2025. The Rapi: Red Hood Special starts after maintenance and runs until December 4, 2025. Just logging in to the game will get you the skin for the character, a theme song called "Yes, My Commander" from that event, and a set of five avatar frames based on based on her and the other characters who made it into the top five of the poll. As a reminder, the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Character Popularity Poll 3 featured her in first, followed by Cinderella in second place, Crown in third, Dorothy in fourth, and Scarlet in fifth.

As for the other additions, the SSR Delta: Ninja Thief is the newest NIKKE in a focus banner after the update until October 29, 2025. She's a Defender who uses the Ninja Force machine gun, deals water damage, and is part of the Elysion manufacturer crew. She will be available after the next update via Ordinary Recruit, Social Point Recruit, and via Mold items. The Miranda - Thief of Justice costume will be in the Cash Shop until October 29, 2025 too. Likewise, Go! Ninja Thief! will run until the next update.

Here's key art for the Rapi: Red Hood and Go! Ninja Thief! events:

There is also a Goddess of Victory: NIKKE YouTube teaser trailer for Delta: Ninja Thief.

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is available for PCs and mobile devices, and the Rapi: Red Hood Special with free Cherished Red costume and other freebies will be available between October 16, 2025 and December 4, 2025.

The transformed Wolfsbane axe inherits some characteristics from Quicksilver Nanites, as shown in its collections screen.

Wolfsbane, Destiny 2's long-anticipated battle axe, landed in the game as a reward for finishing the Heliostat Exotic mission. This deadly weapon has four different catalysts to choose from, each leaning into some of its defining traits, and you can get them by playing its mission.

While Bungie seems to have done away with crafting entirely after Echoes, some Exotics seem to be exempt from that rule, including the new battle axe. Three of Wolfsbane's four catalysts add existing perks to this weapon, but one of them enhances its unique features. As usual, the catalysts are hidden behind some small secrets in Heliostat. Here's how you can get them.

All Wolfsbane catalysts in Destiny 2

Wolfsbane's main gameplay loop is hitting enemies with light attacks to charge up its heavy attack and build up Nano-Assault, which turbocharges the weapon and grants you some ammo. Continued light attacks are one of its key features, and three of its catalysts give that combination a little more juice.

  • Attrition Orbs Refit: Dealing sustained damage creates an orb of power.
  • Relentless Strikes Refit: Landing three light attacks quickly grants you heavy ammo.
  • Burning Ambition Refit: Damaging targets adds Scorch to them.
  • Subroutine: ~Recursion: Quicksilver nanites grant more health based on your stacks of Nano-Assault. Taking damage while Nano-Assault is active can generate nanites near you.

All of these are available after finding the associated secrets in Heliostat, which we've listed below. We highly recommend doing this in the intended order, otherwise your catalysts may become glitched. We grabbed the fourth catalyst before the second and third, keeping us from obtaining the Subroutine: ~Recursion catalyst due to a bug.

How to get all Wolfsbane catalysts in Destiny 2

Getting the catalysts for Wolfsbane doesn't involve that many secrets. In short, all you need to do is pick up a data pad, install it in a nearby terminal, and complete the mission (thanks, 360GameTV). Plugging the device in will change the terminal's screen, indicating you're eligible to get the associated catalyst.

You don't have to complete all of those steps in a single run, so don't worry about error codes or heading back to orbit. It's possible to pick up the gadget in one run (at which point it disappears), then interact with the terminal on a second try, and complete the mission on a third, and you still get the credit for the catalyst. This worked for the first catalyst, though we haven't tested it in the other ones.

First Wolfsbane catalyst location (Attrition Orbs)

The first data pad appears early in the mission. After defeating the first group of enemies, you'll come up on a radioactive reactor. Summon the shielding Psion and head past the reactor, then look for a datapad across from the second device, hidden behind a pile of crates. Interact with the console on the other side of the hallway, just behind the shielding Psion's next spawn point.

Second Wolfsbane catalyst location (Relentless Strikes)

A guardian looks at a computer with three screens. Each one is interactable.

When you drop down into the electrified elevator shaft, land and look for a white circle telling you to summon the hacking Psion. Go to the opposite console, where you can interact with three symbols to control the elevator. The rightmost symbol makes the elevator stop near the top of the shaft, while the middle symbol grinds it to a halt on the halfway point. The leftmost glyph brings the elevator down.

Interact with the panel on the right to unveil a room with a data pad. Pick it up, then drop down again and hit the first symbol to bring the elevator to you. Finish by hitting the middle glyph and jumping on the elevator to find the terminal for this data pad.

Third Wolfsbane catalyst location (Burning Ambition)

The third Wolfsbane catalyst appears before/during the parkour section, after you've entered the three security code fragments. You must find three terminals to reset the security systems, unlocking another hidden datapad ("hidden" might be an understatement, so another round of thanks to 360GameTV for finding it).

One of the terminals is located outside the main room, across from the Psion beacon. You may have found this one after dropping into the walkway, since it's right in your path.

For the second terminal, face the beacon and take the path to the right. Look to the right again to see a computer on a wall, indicating where you should go. Take the elevator to the top and clear the enemies near you, including a Barrier Champion. Jump down from the white circle and aim for the ledge.

The last terminal is located on the other side of the area. If you take the path on the left of the main hall, you'll find a small walkway on the wall to the left of the elevator. Jump on it to find another computer.

Triggering all three terminals lets you redo the security hacking puzzle. This time, the solution reveals a hidden nook below the central room, which has the gear required to input a data pad. The gadget is hidden on the top of the main base.

The easiest way to get there may be to look up from the rooms adjoined to the main hall, where you can find a couple of walkways that serve as footholds. Look for this data pad below one of the catwalks on top of the base, then place it on the terminal.

Fourth Wolfsbane catalyst location (Subroutine: ~Recursion)

The final catalyst appears during the traversal section before the final boss, where you must override the gravlift. From the main hall, we recommend taking the path on the left of the hacking beacon, since this will save you some time.

The elements you need are in the two hallways with the terminals for the mission objective. Using the beacon as a direction, there's a data pad in a small hole on the floor on the left side (watch out for the radiation). The matching terminal is on the end of the hallway on the right, obscured by the folded panel. They'll always be on opposite side.

Once you've entered all data pads in the associated terminal, clear the mission to receive the catalysts. Again, we recommend doing them in order to avoid any bugs.

Keeper promo art

We don't have long to wait before Keeper releases worldwide, and the following countdown will help you keep track of the launch.

While we've known the release date for a while, developers Double Time have also confirmed the launch times now. Keeper, available for PC and Xbox, will be released simultaneously across all platforms.

Let's check out the exact launch timing so that you can jump in as the game goes live.

Keeper release countdown

Keeper will be releasing worldwide on Oct. 17 (Oct. 18) in some regions, and the countdown below will be your best guide if you want to jump into your adventure in the first minute.

[hurrytimer id="1129286"]

The countdown is based on the following times from around the world.

  • 8am PDT (Oct. 17)
  • 10am CDT (Oct. 17)
  • 11am EDT (Oct. 17)
  • 12pm BRT (Oct. 17)
  • 4pm BST (Oct. 17)
  • 5pm CEST (Oct. 17)
  • 00am KST (Oct. 18)
  • 00am JST (Oct. 18)
  • 2am AEDT (Oct. 18)
  • 4am NZDT (Oct. 18)

Everyone will begin playing at the same time, since there's no early or advanced access available with this title.

What to expect from Keeper

Double Fine has made every possible attempt to keep Keeper a mystery. We know that it's an atmospheric puzzle adventure that can be enjoyed in third-person view. The adventure is supposed to take place on an island in the long-lost sea.

The official description about the game on Steam is pretty mysterious to say the least. Keeper appears to be one title that you'll have to test out yourself to know more. If you're not planning to buy the game outright, you can always get an Xbox Game Pass membership to try it on day one.

A player and his Deviations in Once Human.

I was utterly hooked on Once Human last year, and really loved the horror vibes and tense gameplay. Sadly, as I figured out some builds and got more powerful, enemies became minor annoyances instead of tangible threats, and the magic was largely lost.

That doesn't mean I don't give it a go every now and then, just to see what's happening. So, color me surprised when I opened the game recently to find that it now has a Pokémon-like scenario running.

Yep, you can now capture and battle Deviations in true creature-collector style, and the gameplay is a lot like Palworld. Which makes a lot of sense, considering the coming Palworld x Once Human crossover coming at the end of this month.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/comments/1npwxl2/once_human_palworld_collab_event_starts_october_30/

I don't know why seeing the Manibus and the Wanderer (the walking bus) roll up on a Cattiva excites me so much, but it looks pretty dang epic.

So, in this scenario, you'll select your starter Poké Deviation and then create a few Binding Grenades, which are super cheap and easy to make. You then head out into the world and battle other Deviations in the wild. If, like me, you're tempted to take one on with nothing but a knife, don't. Get your Deviation out and make a crossbow, at least. Some of them can be pretty tough and will one-shot you.

A player catches a Lonewolf's Whisper Deviation in Once Human.
Screenshot by Destructoid

Once you've weakened the Deviation, chuck a Binding Grenade at it, and voila, it's yours. You'll need to add it to your stock manually, or else it just stays a normal deviation that functions like it used to.

Once you've captured a Deviation and added it to your PokéDex Symbiosis, you need to battle other Deviations to level up. So yeah, it's really familiar, except that you can have three Deviations active at the same time, so that's a nice twist.

So, should we expect a lawsuit?

One of the patents Palworld got sued for is the ability to throw balls and release creatures contained within, which is why Pals now spawn out of thin air when we summon them. I see that Once Human has taken the same approach with that mechanic.

That alone likely won't stop Nintendo, though, and you can bet that if the company finds anything worth suing for, it probably will. We all know how Nintendo operates with such things, so it's probably only a matter of time.

Regardless, it does little good to speculate about such things. In the end, Once Human has turned into SCP Palword, and it's actually recaptured my interest for the time being. Definitely not something that was on my bingo card, but we knew all along that the potential was there for Once Human to take this sort of approach eventually.

Honestly, I'm only surprised that it took them so long.

But I'm really keen to hear from you guys—will you be checking out Once Human again? And do you think this latest move opens them up to a potential lawsuit?
