A bit of creepy crawly, low-key city building? Ah, go on then. October and Halloween might be behind us, but Fangtopia is a puzzle game stroke city builder that still feels appropriate for late autumn. Having had a go with its demo, it's deceptively simple, in fact it felt so simple I wasn't entirely sure if I was doing anything at all. But when it clicked, all the pieces fell into place resulting in a pleasantly chill time.

Here's a sentence I am very glad to write: the first Citizen Sleeper-like is here! Or at least the first one I'm aware of (and the actual genre is dice-driven RPG, no more something-likes, ok?). It's called Dusk Punk, which mixes the narrative and mechanical framework established by Citizen Sleeper with the aesthetics and world of games like Dishonored, and it's out today.

Princess Maker-Like Galaxy Princess Zorana Launches This Week

Back in May 2025, Hanako Games announced a successor to its devastatingly difficult Princess Maker style game Long Live the Queen called Galaxy Princess Zorana. After a successful Kickstarter to help fund development, it now has a release date. We'll help a new princess become an empress and survive deadly situations on November 21, 2025. The Steam page is already live.

In Galaxy Princess Zorana, we'll use our character-raising and Princess Maker stat-management skills to help Zorana win the Imperial Election and become ruler of the Celestial Empire following her father's death. This means training her in various fields, visiting different planets in the empire, interacting with important individuals, finding cabinet members, securing votes, perhaps getting engaged, and staying alive. Because like Long Live the Queen, there will be constant skill checks to see if Zorana is accomplished and knowledgeable enough to handle situations well and survive dangers like assassination attempts.

Post-launch, there will be free updates to the simulation. The announcement noted these will be based on Kickstarter stretch goals. Among those were a new plotline that offered a different path that would see Zorana becoming a rebellion leader who attempts to help end the monarchy, rather than continue it as a new empress.

Galaxy Princess Zorana will head to the PC on November 21, 2025, and the previous entry Long Live the Queen is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Players fighting a boss in Risk of Rain 2

The Encrypted Cerebellum is one of many new items added to Risk of Rain 2 as part of the Alloyed Collective update, and it's essential if you're looking to beat the game.

While obtaining the item is straightforward, its exact use isn't explicitly stated by the game. This guide will help you understand its true use and where to do so in Risk of Rain 2.

How to get the Encrypted Cerebellum in Risk of Rain 2

As I said, obtaining the Encrypted Cerebellum is easy. You'll have to start a round and reach the final boss. That will pit you against Solus Wing, which is a pretty hard fight. Once you defeat him, he will drop the Encrypted Cerebellum. This is a guaranteed drop, and the difficulty doesn't matter.

You'll soon realize that the item can't be used on its own. However, it's a must-have item if you want to defeat the hidden/secret final boss - Solus Heart.

How to use the Encrypted Cerebellum in Risk of Rain 2

Once you have the Encrypted Cerebellum, we will need to use it to get an Exposed Cerebellum. To do so, you'll first have to go through Solus Wing's eye to enter Computational Exchange. You'll find a glitchy translucent wall. Go through the wall to find Chef, who will help you create different items based on the ingredients.

To get an Exposed Cerebellum, you'll have to combine the Encrypted Cerebellum with any of the following items:

  • Empathy Cores
  • Encrusted Key
  • Orphaned Core
  • Rusted Key
  • Prison Matrix
  • Sentry Key

Offer the required items to Chef, and he will hand you the Exposed Cerebellum. Offer this item to the large Solus unit at the location. An Encrypted Teleporter will be summoned beside the Solus unit, allowing you to reach Neural Sanctum.

You'll find the Solus Heart in Neural Sanctum, which is arguably the toughest enemy to face. Doing so is pretty important if you're looking to unlock new skins added in the Alloyed Collective.
