Clearing the Quarantine in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check

Liquidating a survivor in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check isn't the best thing to do, but it becomes necessary to keep your outpost in check.

Liquidation, in simple words, is the process of sending someone to the gallows. Not every survivor coming to your outpost is healthy. Some of them will eventually turn into zombies, and liquidation prevents the outbreak from taking place in your outpost.

That said, you can go wrong, and this guide will prevent you from making any errors.

When should you send someone to Liquidation in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check

There are two big reasons why you shouldn't make an error when sending someone to Liquidation.

  • Liquidation in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check means getting shot with a gun. It's not Quarantine that someone will be able to recover. Also, sending someone who could have recovered to Liquidation means you did a poor investigation. This results in loss of RP and cash.
  • When a successful extraction takes place, you get paid in RP or cash for every survivor. You'll also need a minimum number of survivors to be delivered to the authorities. Liquidating too many survivors could jeopardize these plans.

Here's how you can ensure you don't make a wrong decision when it comes to liquidating a survivor.

  • Look out for the obvious signs that highlight them as infected. Once you get the Hammer and the Thermopulsometer, use all of them to investigate. If you find two or more evidences of Infected based on symptoms (in Red), it's guaranteed that they will eventually turn into a zombie. They're always safe to liquidate.

  • If they have only one sign of Infected, but it's a zombie bite on their body (either detected visually or using a Scanner), they're also safe to liquidate. A zombie bite is impending death, so you should eliminate such survivors immediately.

If you still suspect a survivor, you can send them to Quarantine. Once done, investigate them daily. If the symptoms don't go away after two days, it's better to send them to the chopping blocks. This method applies if someone doesn't have a sure-shot infection. However, they're showing signs of having an infection.

If the infection doesn't take over, the survivor's symptoms will disappear after a day or two. You can then send them to the survivor's block, as they won't be changing into a zombie. If someone turns in the Quarantine, you can directly liquidate them in the chamber.
