As part of the KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World 10th anniversary reveals, Kadokawa confirmed season 4 of the anime is in development. It also noted a new mobile and PC game called KonoSuba: Kono Ai Subeki Machi ni Hanei o will debut in 2026. There will also be a special event in Japan on July 26, 2026, with people able to head to Pacifico Yokohama to see the voice actors and another announcements.
Few details are available about both the anime and game. Presumably, the show will pick up where the third season left off when it debuted in April 2024. In the case of the game, creator Natsume "Jitakukeibihei" Akatsuki and artist Kurone Mishima will be involved in its development.
Here's the full 10th anniversary stream on YouTube:
And here's the full 10th anniversary art that features main characters Aqua, Darkness, Kazuma Satou, and Megumin with supporting cast members like Chris, Luna, Princess Iris, Ruffian, Vanir, Wiz, and Yunyun.
This marks the latest mobile game based on the seriesfollowing the shuttering of KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. That shut down worldwide back in January 2025. One of the last console and PC releases was KonoSuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire.
Season 4 of the KonoSuba anime is in development, and the new mobile and PC game will launch in 2026. Previous seasons of theanime are available on Crunchyroll, and Yen Press handles the light novel and manga localizations.

Sega and Square Enix announced that the NieR: Automata Chokonose figure of 2B will appear as a prize in Japanese arcades again starting on February 6, 2026. This is an item based on her appearance in the anime adaptation. This is the first time she's been back since her July 2024 debut. As that one eventually appeared on Amazon, we should see the rerelease worldwide as well.
This 2B figure is in a seated position, so someone could display it on the edge of a shelf or use it in the same way they would a noodle stopper style piece. It sits at about 3 inches tall (7cm) due to that pose. She's wearing her usual dress from the series. Her arms are crossed over her chest, and her legs are crossed. She doesn't come with any additional face plates or posing parts.
As a reminder, here's how this 2B figure looks:
All three main characters from the series appeared in as Sega Chokonose figures before. 9S followed 2B originally, showing up a month after her in August 2024. Then A2 appeared in September 2024. This means we might possibly see rereleases of those other two in 2026 if Sega follows the same pattern.
The NieR: Automata Chokonose 2B figure will return to arcades in Japan on February 6, 2026, and we should see it worldwide on storefronts after. The game is available for the Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and the anime based on it is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Nintendo announced the individual Year in Review going over Switch and Switch 2 game stats and details is now available online. People can log into the official site to see what they played on both consoles from January to December 2025. It is also possible to go back and look at similar details into gameplay history back to 2017. Note that due to the number of people access the site, it might be slow to load, as I encountered an issue attempting to log in and see details initially.
The Nintendo Year in Review begins by acknowledging if you did play on a Switch 2, before getting into the most played Switch family of system's games. It will begin by showing how many games and hours total you spent on both consoles. After that, it will show your top 3 games and how many hours you spent with each of them. (I suspect this does not count the Switch and Switch 2 versions of titles, as my further breakdown said I spent 18 hours on Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma in May 2025, then 10 in June 2025, but the overall total said I only played it 24 hours.) From there, it shows "your gaming style" by covering the genres you played most. There are then breakdowns showing hours played each month total, then a month-by-month assessment showing the most-played title in each one.
Once you get toward the end, you can select your "favorite" game out of the most played titles you went through in 2025. It is also possible to share your summary with other people at this point.
The Nintendo Year in Review for 2025 is available now, and allows you to see Switch and Switch 2 stats from this year and beyond.

We already knew Volantes, an upcoming Switch otome game, would launch in Japan on March 26, 2026, and now it is confirmed it will debut everywhere on that date. The English version will appear digitally worldwide. However, in Japan there will be a physical copy available that day too. Should someone import via a site like Amazon Japan, that will include an English subtitle option too.
Things are bad as Volantes begins. Fiena watched a plague ravage places near her and violent knights destroy her hometown and family. However, there's hope in that tragedy. After the assault, she's brought to the kingdom of Ombrelle and dubbed the Moon Witch. But this change in status doesn't guarantee safety or love. Yet if you're careful, you could end up earning one of many different kinds of ends with the possible love interests Emmanuel, Ismail, Melodie, or Olivier.
Here's the latest trailer that shows off each of the different love interests and some of the supporting cast.
As a reminder, this game is a Kickstarter success story. After passing its ¥6,000,000, pulling in ¥6,784,322 from 801 backers, Loca Games confirmed the Switch localization was assured. However, it didn't reach the ¥8,000,000 stretch goal that would have resulted in a PC port. (Loca's previous otome localization was Yukar of the Abyss.)
Volantes will come to the Switch digitally worldwide on March 26, 2026, and the otome game will also be on a physical cartridge in Japan that same day.

After four years, the Eevee Tokyo Banana is back for the 30th anniversary of Pokemon. The Eevee version of the snack will be available from January 14, 2026 to April 19, 2026. [Thanks, PR Times!]
The outside layer of Eevee Banana is a chocolate sponge cake, and the inside is a caramel macchiato-flavored banana custard cream. According to Grapestone, it wanted the Eevees to look like latte art, since the bubbles of the cake are similar to the bubbles in foam. There are six different Eevee designs, usually with them changing their expressions or how they're standing. If you find a winking Eevee with a heart over its head, that's a rare one!
This isn't the first time that The Pokemon Company partnered with Grapestone for special Tokyo Banana flavors. In 2021, Grapestone released Piplup Banana. Back then, a box of eight cost 1,188 JPY ($7.50 according to 2026 exchange rates). However, the Eevee Banana of 2026 costs 1512 JPY ($9.50) for a box of eight.
The Eevee Tokyo Banana will be available from January 14, 2026 to April 19, 2026. Grapestone will also have them available at Haneda and Narita Airports, meaning that you'll be able to find them even if you're only in Japan for a layover.

The Hi, Doggy quest not only has a funny name, but it's a rather interesting task to complete in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check.
The Hi, Doggy is a relatively early game quest that you can unlock on day 10. It's a core campaign quest, so there's no way of skipping it (unless you're playing in the Endless mode). This guide will help you figure out how to feed your zombie.
Table of contents
How to start Hi, Doggy quest in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
The quest begins at the start of day 10 when the major briefs you about what needs to be done. When you're in the early game, there's not much you can do with a zombie in Quarantine. However, this quest will introduce you to the Cage in the Laboratory.
The Cage can contain an undead and allow you to study for research. You'll find the Cage to the right of the main lab tent (from where you can discover new symptoms). Your next task is to feed the zombie. Head straight from the lab gates, and you'll end up in front of the locked zombie.
How to feed the zombie in Hi, Doggy quest
This task is pretty simple. Go to the Liquidation zone, where you send the infected to be chopped. You'll find a marked area by the pile of bags. Pick up a body bag, put it on the card, and go back to the laboratory tent. If you can't pick up the body, chances are that the cart isn't close enough. Interact with the cart and bring it closer to the body bags.
Park the cart next to the Cage, and interact with the body bag carrying the corpse. Pick it up, and put it in the Cage, and the zombie will start to eat. This will complete the Hi, Doggy quest. Make sure to put the cart in the highlighted zone so that the corpse can be fed to the zombie trapped inside.

As you explore the cubic frontiers of Hytale, you'll realize all too soon that the Crude tools and weapons that helped kick-start your journey just aren't gonna cut it forever.
This is where Iron comes in. Iron is one of the most important early-game crafting materials in Hytale, since it allows you to upgrade past the first tier of tools and equipment available to you at the start of the game. It's the stepping stone to greater things, but you'll have to delve deeper to find it.
How to find Iron in Hytale
As I'm sure you've already guessed, Hytale doesn't present you with a chance to harvest Iron on the surface. Instead, you'll have to dive deep into the bowels of the Earth and seek it out there. You're gonna need a pickaxe, but if you're looking for Iron to upgrade your weapons, chances are you already have a working Workbench set up. I'd also recommend crafting a few torches; it gets dark pretty fast down there.
Digging straight down from wherever you're standing is always a valid option, but the world of Orbis is full of deep chasms that can provide you with a natural entrance to the cavernous depths below. One was waiting for me right near my spawn point, but you might need to explore a bit to find one yourself.
Luckily, you probably won't have to stay down in the depths very long. Iron spawns at about fifty to one hundred blocks below the surface, so you don't have to dig too deep to find it. Don't worry about not being able to identify which rocks have Iron Ore in them; the giant chunks of shiny Iron ore jabbing out are a big giveaway.
How to craft Iron tools in Hytale
As exciting as finding Iron is, don't get carried away. You need to refine your Iron Ore into an Iron Ingot before you can use it to craft new equipment.
To forge Iron Ore into Iron Ingots, you'll need to use your Workbench to build a Furnace. This is a very simple craft to make. All you need to make it is six Tree Trunks and six chunks of Stone. Once you've made a Furnace, stick some wood into the Fuel slot, then put the Iron Ore into one of the Input slots. In a few seconds, you'll have some fresh Iron Ingots on your hands.

Hytale allows plenty of customization options for players to enjoy when it comes to character creation, and you can change the colour of your skin quite easily.
While the game will get plenty more features in days and months to come, there's already a healthy amount of choices. However, let's look at how you can select the skin color of your liking while making your Avatar.
Table of contents
How to change your skin color in Hytale
Once you've downloaded Hytale, you'll be able to change the skin color (and tweak other personal settings as you see fit).
Once you have selected what you like, return to save your changes. You can change your skin color as many times as you want by repeating the steps above. So far, I have only managed to change the color from the main menu.
Can you add skin color to Hytale
Hytale's existing roster of body colors appears to be quite expansive. Not only have all possible human skin tones been included, but there are some really funky ones as well. I am pretty sure that mods have already started to pop up. Some of them could feature visual additions, like adding more skin color. However, there doesn't appear to be a way of adding color in the vanilla version (at least, I have yet to discover any method if that exists).

Ready for another adventure? Hytale is here in early access for PC, and the survival crafting game is a ton of fun.
Like Minecraft before it, Hytale is a first-person adventure, but you can also play it in third-person by switching things up in the menus. Unlike Minecraft, though, it's not a simple button switch to change your camera angle.
Here's how to swap your camera angle and play Hytale in third person.
How to play Hytale in third person
Hytale, by default, is played in first-person perspective. But you can swap to third-person perspective in-game so that you can see your character and all the awesome gear you worked hard for.
To change perspective:
In order for the change to take place, you need to save your settings and either log out of the game and log back in or respawn at your bed. Once done, you should be able to see your new perspective in-game. Have fun!

Hytale is a ton of fun in early access...if you're able to get onto the game.
Buying and playing Hytale requires making an account with Hypixel, the developers of the game, but some players are having problems getting past that point in the process. Dozens upon dozens of gamers are reporting problems with the sign-up operation, and that's no fun for anyone.
Here's what we know so far about Hytale's verification code emails having problems.
Hytale email verification code not sending
On launch day of Hytale's early access (Jan. 13, 2026), many players are reporting issues with receiving their verification code email, which is a requirement for signing up to play the game. This is due to the system being overloaded with players all attempting to do so.
Hypixel Studios head Simon Collins-Laflamme remarked in the days leading up to launch that they were expecting to have issues, and warned players to download and log in to the launcher "to help us significantly reduce launch-day stress."
Simon again posted on Twitter/X on Jan. 13, saying this: "We are seeing a VERY HIGH rate of new Hytale players; there might be issues with login/emails. It's slowly catching up!"
I signed up for Hytale a week prior to launch and received this email shortly after:
Some users are reporting that the emails are being sent out slowly and waiting for 15-20 minutes will suffice, while others are saying that the messages are not being received at all, which means that there's probably a bigger issue at hand due to the game's popularity at launch.
Currently, there's no fix for the verification code email issue other than waiting for it to appear. Hypixel Studios is likely overwhelmed with demand for this, and their systems may be experiencing issues as players attempt to make accounts and purchase the game as the hype builds.
You can join the official Hytale Discord server to post there and let the devs know that you're having issues, and to also stay tuned for official communications about the game.

The TOTY Warm Up objective is an excellent way to earn bonus goodies in FC 26 Ultimate Team ahead of the upcoming festivities, and there's plenty to earn.
The latest objective is pretty easy to grind, but it doesn't feature a special card. However, the rewards include some decent packs, two great evolutions, and more. The packs can turn out to be invaluable once the TOTY promo goes live.
This guide will help you complete the objective as quickly as possible.
FC 26 TOTY Warm Up objective guide
To complete the TOTY Warm Up objective, you'll have to play in the mode with the same name. There are six tasks to complete. Some are relatively simple, while the rest might take more time.
Completing the full set will also get you an 84x10 Rare Gold Players Pack. While none of the packs guarantee you walkouts, they do offer strong chances. Moreover, the fodder you find can always become useful to complete the SBCs that will be released during the TOTY promo.

Hytale is now available on early access, and the official Discord will help you figure things out about the new launch.
While Hytale feels very much like Minecraft in essence, some mechanics are different. The early access nature of the game also means that there will be plenty of bugs and glitches. The official Discord server is a great place for all queries related to the game.
How to join the official Hytale Discord server
To start the process, you'll need a Discord account. If you already have one, make sure you're logged in. You can complete the process on either your phone or your PC/laptop. Click here to get invited to the official server. Pick the type of player you are (you can pick more than one) and proceed to gain access to the server.
You'll find all the applicable channels on the left side. There are dedicated channels in place to help you find what you need. The game-discussion thread is where you can discuss anything related to Hytale. This is the best place to casually ask a question or figure something out if you're stuck.
The exploration mode channel is dedicated to the game mode of the same name in Hytale. Whether you need a specific resource or are just looking for general tips, this is the channel you'll want to be using. Then there's the creative mode channel, available as well for those who're interested.
While Hytale is only available in early access, modding is already available in the game. It has its own dedicated set of channels as well, where you'll be able to discuss modding in general. Whether you're someone looking to use mods or making your own, you should regularly check the channels under this section.
Finally, you'll also be able to find like-minded people to play with if you don't want to play alone and enjoy the co-op experience. The community has already been sharing servers of their own that you can join as part of your new adventures.

Hytale is finally here after some tumultuous development, and gamers across the world are looking to play what could be the next big Minecraft-like survival game.
Like Minecraft and other survival crafting games, Hytale offers multiplayer so you can play with friends. It's not an overly simple task, however, and there are some steps you need to take in order to group up with buddies and survive, craft, and fight together.
Here's how to connect with friends to start your Hytale adventures together.
Table of contents
How to play with friends in Hytale
There are a few ways to play with friends in Hytale, including inviting them to your game, joining their game, or even playing on dedicated online servers. Here's how to do it.
How to host a game in Hytale
The code that the game generates includes your IP address, so Hypixel Studios warns to not share the code with anyone you don't know or trust.
How to join a friend's game in Hytale
How to play dedicated servers in Hytale
Hytale offers dedicated server hosting. These servers can be rented and paid for on websites like these, which Hypixel says are "launch verified," allowing your online world to persist:
Eventually, popular Hytale servers will begin to appear online, so keep an eye out on where to find some public ones to enjoy if you don't feel like making one or hosting one with friends.
How to host your own dedicated server in Hytale
You are also able to host your own server in Hytale, and the dev offers a Server Manual for setup instructions here. This includes specific requirements and instructions on how to get it up and running.
If issues persist with trying to join friends, there may be server problems with the game. Keep in mind Hytale's release in January 2026 is early access, and that the developer is expecting bugs and glitches to take place.
If you're having server troubles, be sure to check official Hytale channels, like the Hypixel Studios Twitter/X account for official info straight from the developers where they should be keeping players up to date on what's going on with the game whenever there's news to report. A good place to check for news is also the official Hytale Discord server.
On launch day, Jan. 13, players everywhere were reporting issues trying to play with friends. This is likely due to a large amount of gamers trying to connect on Hytale and causing problems in the early access launch period.

There are consequences for your actions in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, so don't get trigger-happy the moment you curl your fingers 'round a firearm. Bad food, poor water quality, an airborne virus, and a zombie outbreak are all things to worry about—but not everyone is sick.
It's down to you to determine where a patient must go; be it to Quarantine, the Survivor Block, or to be liquified. So, here are all Quarantine Zone items you can use in Campaign and Endless mode to help you during your inspections.
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check items, listed
There are eight items in The Last Check that you can manually select via the tool wheel (hold "Q"). All tools are used with left click when equipped. Diagnosing survivors gets increasingly harder the more tools you're given. No longer are the obvious signs of infection, bloodshot eyes and spotted lungs, enough to send someone into liquidation. Many patients suffer from multiple symptoms that are unknown and must be discovered through sending infected into the Laboratory.
If you're not sure whether the survivor is infected or simply sick, send them to Quarantine to recheck their symptoms and hopefully discover new ones in the process, so it makes inspections easier. Any signs of infection should be sent to Quarantine, and clear-cut symptoms of the zombie virus should be liquified or harvested at the Lab to expand your diagnostic knowledge.
All Quarantine Zone items are automatically provided on the set days listed above as scripted moments and part of the Campaign. You start with all eight tools in Endless mode. While it isn't on the item wheel, there is the Internal Contraband feature that behaves like an item and is part of inspection. This is accessed via Charlie on Day 15, one of the hazmat-wearing staff on the scene that spawns next to Georgie. Some patients show up with miscellaneous items that they're trying to smuggle in, at a place where the sun doesn't shine. This isn't a mechanic to ignore, as it can protect the survivors inside The Block. So, stay frosty not only to potential zombie infections, but those smugglers cosplaying as a gone wrong Joel Miller.

The Laboratory is one of the more advanced features in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, allowing you to research and discover new symptoms.
Symptoms are key to helping you figure out who is infected and who isn't. When you unlock more items, you'll be able to look for different symptoms. However, you'll also end up with survivors who have unidentified symptoms. That's where the Laboratory comes in.
Table of contents
How to find new symptoms using the Laboratory in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
The first task is to look for survivors with completely new symptoms. Once you find one, notice the symptoms they have (both known and unknown). Then, assign them to the Laboratory and follow them there.
When you have multiple survivors with unknown symptoms, you can make some wait in Quarantine. Survivors will always die when you put them in the Laboratory to extract their organs.
How to use the Laboratory in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
Once you have sent someone to the lab, you'll find them in a glass cage. Go over to the computer near the cage, and you'll be able to extract their organs. The infected organs will be highlighted in green, but other organs can block them.
You'll need to use the laser to destroy the blocking organs. They will be highlighted in yellow. However, don't destroy any organs highlighted in red. That will automatically fail the process and remove all bonuses you could have obtained.
Once you've a clear path to the unblocked organ, you can press the extract button to take it out. This will automatically kill the survivor. The next task is to analyze the organ.
Pick up the extracted organ and drop it in the sample collector. You'll need to keep holding your LMB while carrying the organ. Click on the collector to start the process. Once done, you'll get a test tube with organ materials. Put the tube in the analyzer, start the machine, and wait for the results to arrive.
If the survivor was indeed infected, you'll have a new symptom to check. If not, the process will be a failure, and you'll end up killing a survivor for no reason. Oops!

Oh yeah, this one's gonna get weird. Welcome to Marvel Rivals, Deadpool! Make yourself at home. Oh, you already have.
Everyone's favorite "Merc with a Mouth" officially joins the roster for season six of Marvel Rivals on Jan. 16, and NetEase Games has begun to pull back the curtain on what can be expected from the latest iteration of the hero shooter.
Here's a peek at what's coming in the Marvel Rivals season 6 patch notes.
Table of contents
Marvel Rivals season 6 patch notes
New hero: Deadpool
One of Marvel's most popular heroes of late finally joins the roster as the game's first three-in-one character. Deadpool uses his dual pistols and dual katanas to deal damage as a Duelist, a unicorn plushie to defend allies as a Vanguard, and he can also play as a Strategist to use his pistols and swords to heal teammates.
You can choose which role to play with Deadpool at any given time in-game, but only one Deadpool is available on each team. His Ultimate sounds special, too, as he will have to "rank up" to earn it, and there seems to be an element of randomness to what it does. Yeah, this is definitely Deadpool.
Coming soon: Elsa Bloodstone
The monster hunter Elsa Bloodstone will be the next hero to join Marvel Rivals in the season 6.5 update, likely sometime in February.
New map: Museum of Contemplation
The Collector's Museum is a new location for the new Convoy map in Marvel Rivals, launching later after the season launch in a new update coming on Jan. 29.
Hero buffs and nerfs
Official details on changes are coming soon, including even more tweaks to other heroes, but here's what to expect from the patch based on what we know so far.
New Team-Up Abilities
Adjusted Team-Up Abilities
Times Square photo mode
Group up with buddies to take pics in Times Square, which is also getting a new area to explore where you can duel other players and even have your match broadcast on the big screens.
New Hero Proficiency levels
Got Lord on every hero? Well, now you can continue to rank them up with a whole bunch of new hero proficiency levels. You can unlock Units, Unstable Molecules, new titles, avatars, badges, and more by doing so.
New PvE mode soon
A new PvE mode on top of Marvel Zombies is promised "for the first half of 2026," but no other details were revealed thus far.
New Accessories
New equippable Accessories are being added for Deadpool, Rogue, Doctor Strange, Blade, Squirrel Girl, Iron Man, Captain America, Daredevil, Black Panther, and Storm.
Resource Rumble removed
The game mode that seemingly nobody liked is being removed to be iterated on and improved upon so it can return in a future season.
The full list of patch notes is coming soon ahead of season six's launch on Jan. 16

Improving your tools is essential to thriving in the hostile world of Hytale. Crude weapons will help you build a sound foundation, but you won't get far if you don't upgrade from Crude to Iron tools.
Besides Iron, you'll need Linen Cloth to make the leap into the Iron Age. Metal's a lot heavier than wood, after all; you need something tougher than grass knots to hold these crafts together.
Where to find Linen Cloth in Hytale
Unlike Sticks or Stone Rubble, you won't find Linen Cloth lying around on the ground. Instead, it drops from Skeletons, a fairly common enemy. Unlike their cousins in Minecraft, Hytale's Skeletons aren't allergic to sunlight, but they seem to prefer hanging out in the shade, sticking to ruined fortresses or underground caves until the sun goes down. At night, Skeletons become much bolder and have all kinds of nasty backup, so I'd recommend taking them in broad daylight.
Skeletons may not seem like much of a threat at first. They're not very aware of their surroundings, and their attacks only do a little damage. However, they're faster than you might expect, and where there's one, there are usually a few more hiding somewhere nearby. If you run into a fight with them recklessly, the dead will mob you into their ranks in no time.
I've found the best way to deal with Skeletons is with a Bow and Arrow. Since they aren't very attentive, you can easily sneak up on a single Skeleton and deal massive damage with a headshot. It only takes about three hits to kill a regular Skeleton with Crude arrows, two if you nail those sneak attacks. Even better, you can lead a lone Skeleton away from its group with a well-aimed arrow and a bit of taunting, letting you thin the herd one skull at a time.
Linen Cloth is the second most common thing Skeletons drop, next to Bone Fragments. It can also spawn in the Ancient Chests hidden in forts, so check them out once you've cleared the area of Skeletons.
With Linen Cloth, you can make several useful crafts at your Worktable, including:
Iron and Thorium tools are a significant upgrade over Crude tools, with higher stats and greater durability. So if you plan to take on the tougher challenges the world of Hytale offers, you'll want to stock up on Linen Cloth.

The fate of humanity is left in your hands; to find the infected of Quarantine Zone: The Last Check and to keep those hordes from destroying everything you've built. How thorough is your inspection, and can you keep everyone inside The Block safe for evacuation?
Stay vigilant, follow orders, and discover what ending is on the horizon inside Quarantine Zone. Moving from Tutorial mode to the Campaign, there are two endings to get in Quarantine Zone, separated into the good and the bad. For this Papers, Please-style medical sim set at the start of a zombie apocalypse, your choices determine the outcome of the human race. It's a lot to carry on your shoulders, but someone has to do it. So, here's a rundown on how to get both endings in The Last Check.
Table of contents
Quarantine Zone ending guide
The Campaign consists of 26 days, where you can either leave via the helicopter or stay, resulting in Endless mode from the 27th day if you find success inside Checkpoint Alpha. The goal is to evacuate the uninfected to "give humanity a chance." From upgrading The Block, ensuring no one dies inside it, and researching new symptoms to diagnose more effectively, there are many ways you can fumble the bag and lessen humanity's chances of survival.
So, here's what you need to do to keep the medical sim cogs turning in the right direction.
Good ending - Good Work, Son
What you need to remember when navigating the perilous and at times, comedically janky Checkpoint Alpha is that your uninfected takes top priority in this mission. The way to ensure this is to be vigilant in your inspections; sending infected to liquidation and the Laboratory for symptom analysis, the sick into Quarantine for rechecking, and the symptomless into the Survivor Block. It's guaranteed you'll let in an infected during your playthrough, but so long as they're placed into Quarantine, you can wait out their symptoms and move them into the zombie cage before they transform.
The goal is to fulfil every Evacuation Quota. These are scripted and always appear at the end of days: 5, 10, 15, 21, and 26. While you don't need 5/5 successful quotas, having four fulfilled correctly helps you get the good ending. Here's what to expect from each quota:
Any infected count as a member of the quota, so it's always best to send a couple more survivors so you can reach the uninfected quota total. This is because the quota is tallying the number of Non-Infected to send via the Science and Military Trucks, so infected survivors will count against the tally.
Another key part is to remember the zombie cage. This is another scripted moment that comes into fruition from Day 10 with the "Hi Doggy" questline. You need a zombie inside the cage for four out of five evacuations, or you will fail them. Manually move the zombie into the cage from Quarantine. You can only send one at a time. The cage is automatically evacuated to the science division so long as you have a zombie inside it. Refer to the yellow dot next to the cage icon in the top-left corner of the screen (yellow dot means you've contained a zombie), beside the three-person survivor icon, and remember to keep the zombie well-fed with one corpse per day.
Finally, consistently aim for zero deaths inside the Survivor Block. To do so, send patients to the correct sector, and only those clear from signs of infection and safe from contraband should enter the Block. Keeping the survivors safe is directly tied to The Last Check's Tasks, so complete the quests as you're playing through the game.
Bad ending - SNAFU
The bad ending can be achieved by doing the opposite of what's expected of you. Should the Quarantine Zone Wall fall during the zombie waves that you must shoot at with the drone at the end of each day, or if you neglect/fail Tasks, you're increasing the odds of receiving the bad ending.
Missing three or more Evacuation Quotas also contributes to getting the bad ending. Even if you send the required number of uninfected to the Military or Science Trucks, not having a zombie cage in Evacuation Quotas four to five results in failure. Sending patients to the wrong sector, healthy survivors into liquidation, or infected with the zombie virus into The Block are poor inspections, and yet another reason to reward your work with the bad ending.
