Those seas have plenty to discover and point your cannons at too, especially the "high risk, high reward, and intentionally unforgiving" deep sea region. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, February 6, 2026 7:05 AM Genre soupy shooter Highguard's second big update arrives today, February 6th. It'll deliver a new hero to guard those pesky highs in the form of Ekon, a bloke who can transform into a wolf. Developers Wildlight have also aimed to ensure the game's gang of established heroes don't feel left out by adding a free wolf mount, alongside a new map called Skydrift and a 3v3 ranked mode. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, February 6, 2026 5:43 AM Civilization 7 has been through a sizeable array of changes since launch in February next year, amid some very uncivilised reactions to boat-rocking features like the new age format. The next update, Test Of Time, will restore the ability to play as one civilization through the whole game, while making changes to how victories are earned in the hope of creating some lategame variety. All these tweaks and rejigs invite a more fundamental question. "Why didn't they just launch it as an early access game?" I remember moaning to another journalist last year. I should have directed my moaning at executive producer Dennis Shirk, who says that Firaxis are tentatively open to the idea and, indeed, "jealous" of developers taking this approach. |

Well, it will be soon. One that'll carry on from the events of Baldur's Gate 3 and star characters both old and new. Baldur's Gate 3 developers Larian, though, don't seem to be directly involved outside of the show's boss asking if he can pop into their studio for a chat. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, February 6, 2026 4:00 AM "I think a lot of survival games are really boring," Geoff 'Zag' Keene, founder of Deep Field Games, developers of Half-Life adjacent co-op survival game Abiotic Factor, said in a recent interview. However, despite these strong words, please hold onto your spit take for just a moment. It's not the first time Keene's said something like it and, in fact, in the episode of The AIAS Game Maker's Notebook, he's responding to a question about when he said it to cheery RPS fanzine PC Gamer back in 2024. So, please, calmly swallow your spit take liquid of choice, so I can explain why I'm reporting on something Keene originally said two years ago. |

There are quite a few bosses you may encounter or need to go searching for around the Fortnite island. These powerful yet tough to find foes offer some of the best loot you can get and are also crucial figures to interact with for quests. Bigfoot is one such character.
The island is rather large, with loads of unique locations you can explore, so figuring out where to find any one character on your own can be tough. If you're struggling to track down this slippery cryptoid, here's where to find Bigfoot in Fortnite.

Where to find Bigfoot in Fortnite
Bigfoot doesn't have one fixed spawn location on the Fortnite island, making it impossible to know exactly where he'll appear in each round. In Chapter Seven, season one, all bosses operate on a somewhat randomized rotation schedule, meaning they all swap around between a collection of possible spawn points situated around the island.
Although bosses were generally marked on the map in past seasons, this one looks different. There is a boss marker you can spot on the map, but it only comes up once you're within fairly close proximity to one of these foes rather than being marked regardless of where you are.
The boss icon that will pop up on your mini map once you're close to one is a skull wearing a crown icon. As you make your way around the island, stop and see which boss is present anytime you spot this icon pop up on your map, as the boss you find could potentially be Bigfoot.
Bigfoot location in Fortnite
While Bigfoot doesn't have a fixed spawn spot, all bosses rotate between a collection of specific locations around the island, including this elusive cryptid. He may pop up at any spot where you've encountered or seen a boss. All of the locations where we've run into one are as follows.
Since the mini map icon only appears when you're close to a boss, there's no way to tell from afar where the bosses have chosen to spawn in each round. To find out, you'll need toventure to each of the possible spawn spots to see for yourself. Try to work through them in a strategic way, picking a starting point that's close to a few other possible spawns so you can swiftly work your way through checking lots of them at once.
Bigfoot boss loot in Fortnite
For successfully defeating Bigfoot in battle, you get to claim the Mythic Bigfoot's Flex SMG item, as well as his special boss Medallion. When activated, this Medallion lets you see footsteps and occasionally marks enemy players. He also drops some extra goodies, like a Chug Jug, ammo, gold bars, and some random weapons.
Finding and interacting with Bigfoot is a crucial step in working through The Order's quests, which ask you to hit Bigfoot or Human Bill to tag them for Carina's favor and ask The Order how to free her from her cell. And if you're on the hunt for more bosses you can face to claim powerful rewards, you may want to learn how to find Human Bill next.

Excry has a ton of questions, build paths, and a vast dark fantasy RPG world to explore. That's why a Trello or a Wiki come in clutch as you play so that you can check info on everything. Here are the links for the Excry Trello board, Wiki page and Discord server.
Excry Trello, Wiki and Discord Guide
Here are all the useful links you need to play and stay informed on Excry:
The Trello and the Wiki are the best places to start browsing since they're act as both a progression guide and look-up for random things you need. They've got info on:
In addition to the Trello and Wiki also check out the Discord since it's the best place to stay informed on any news related to the game. This means announcements, updates, and update logs for any potential buffs, nerfs and changes to classes, weapons, races, etc.
Another neat thing about the Discord is that there are separate channels for each faction making it easier to organize co-op. Or, you know, faction PVP so that those filthy players from the opposite faction don't know what you're planning. Last but not least, you can find all the codes, giveaways and any events that the devs might be planning so it pays to stay tuned.
That's it for my guide on the Excry Trello board, Wiki page and Discord server. Check out our Excry codes for free rewards to lessen the grind.

Nioh 3 offers you the chance to play with two different classes, and each one has a robust set of weapons to choose from.
While your options at the beginning of the game will be limited, you'll soon unlock more options. The effectiveness of each weapon depends on your playstyle, but some of them are simply better in the current version of the game.
Table of contents
Best Ninja weapon in Nioh 3
I am a bigger fan of the Ninja class compared to Samurai, and there are actually two excellent choices.
Tonfa
The Tonfa was an absolute nightmare for the enemies in Nioh 2, and it's even better (in some ways) in Nioh 3. I love to play close range in soulslike, and the Tonfa is the best option to do so. You go all in and try to gank the enemy before unleashing a barrage of heavy hits. If dishing out heavy damage wasn't enough, the Tonfa also offers Impenetrability.
Impenetrability allows you to parry incoming attacks. Once you master the art, the Tonfa feels like a cheat code. You keep taking almost zero damage while doing the exact reverse on your enemies.
Talons
Talons might not be my cup of tea, but it's the most Ninja-esque weapon you can find. This is ideal if you constantly like to move and attack the enemies. The attacks are fast, the combos are amazing, and you can attack aerially or from the ground.
Additionally, you can also lift a Ki-depleted enemy in the air and then smash them back on the ground. This move isn't just visually appealing to execute; it can finish most of the enemies in one swift move.
Best Samurai weapon in Nioh 3
My favorite weapon for the Samurai class is the Switchglaive. However, the Axes category (also includes Hammers) do incredible amount of damage with every hit. They're easy to use and relatively simple to master. However, Axes are extremely slow, and it's something I don't like. If you miss a hit, the recovery will take a lot of time. This makes the Switchglaive far more preferable.
Switchglaive
The Switchglaive, in the right hands, will do everything on its own. However, it's perhaps the most complex weapon type in Nioh 3. Your weapon will have different forms, so you essentially have to learn various mechanics. The mechanic associated with Scythe, for example, won't be the same when you transform your weapon into a Glaive.
However, spending time with Switchglaives is absolutely worth it. Whether it's damage output, attack speed, or the combos, Switchglaives are an ace in every department. That said, you should stick to Axes if the Switchglaive feels too complex.
