With each new season and update in Overwatch, loads of new content and cosmetics get added in, and this latest patch is no exception.
The Crimson Wolf weapon variant is the new seasonal crown jewel, though the UI doesn't exactly display how you can unlock it and for which currency. Thankfully, that's easily solved, so here's all you need to know.
Unlocking the Crimson Wolf weapon variant in Overwatch
This weapon variant requires you to spend 3,000 Competitive Points to unlock it, even if it doesn't display the exact currency cost in the UI itself. To earn Competitive Points, you have to play matches in the Competitive Mode or do Stadium Matches, only getting them if you win or draw.
You get 10 Competitive Points per Competitive win, five for draws, and 20 Competitive Points if you win in Stadium matches.
Additional points can be earned by progressing the Competitive and Stadium modes to earn 100 bonus Competitive Points per mode. You need to get 15 "Progress," with wins granting three and losses giving one point in that progression bar. Even with this bonus, you'll have to win a ton of games to be able to unlock the Crimson Wolf variant.
There are also the Legacy Competitive Points that carry over into the next season if you don't earn enough of them. They can then be spent on acquiring content from previous seasons and cannot be exchanged into actual Competitive Points. The Crimson Wolf weapon variant, at the moment, requires the regular stuff.

Ready to toe the line between good and evil? Warlocks are invading Diablo for its 30th anniversary, beginning today, and leading to BlizzCon later this year.
As part of today's 30th anniversary spotlight, Blizzard revealed that Diablo 2: Reign of the Warlock is a new expansion for Diablo 2: Resurrected, and it's available right now. But it doesn't end there, because the Warlock class is also coming to Diablo Immortal later this year. And of course, it will be the second new class in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred in April, joining the already-available Paladin.
The update for the Diablo 2 remaster is packed with quality of life updates, as is Immortal's (coming in June), but Diablo 4's big upcoming expansion is where the bulk of the eyes are. And Blizzard says the new DLC has been built on what it's learned over the past few years since D4 launched, including the new class.
Diablo 4's Warlock is "fully unleashed," with powers of metal chains and flames, and Blizzard called it "a heavy metal album come to life" during the stream. The dev team will deep dive on the new class on March 5, detailing its abilities, powers, and gear.
Lord of Hatred's new zone, Skovos (the birthplace of humanity), was revealed during the stream, and it's heavily inspired by Mediterranean landscapes, featuring "more monster variety than ever," and a big change from the last DLC's swampy region.
Blizzard also said Lord of Hatred's system updates will change the game, including a "completely overhauled, massively expanded" skill tree, offering more customization from the beginning. They said that "meaningful choices," including customization options are coming, and they're coming to all classes regardless of whether players own the DLC or not.
Other changes coming to Lord of Hatred are loot filters, a new Talisman system, and more to be revealed. Needless to say, it sounds like the Diablo team is cooking up some fun stuff for the franchise's big birthday this year.
You can check out the full showcase on YouTube above, including all of the details about Reign of the Warlock, Diablo 2: Resurrected's new DLC.

Major bosses are among the toughest of foes to take down in Mewgenics, and you'll come across quite a few in the campaign.
Not to be mixed with Area bosses, major bosses (end-of-act bosses or House bosses) are significantly harder to defeat. To do so, you'll have to understand their attack patterns and weaknesses. This guide will provide you with all the information you need for defeating the Major bosses.
Disclaimer: Work in progress.

How to defeat all major bosses in Mewgenics (Act 1)
Spinnerette
Spinnerette is the first major boss fight you'll encounter in the Caves region of the first act. The fight begins with you facing a baby spider. Spinnerette appears once you kill the little one and has 250 HP, 10 ATK, 5 SPD, and 5 LCK.
Whenever you damage Spinnerette, she will spawn spiderlings. Try to destroy the smaller critters, as they will do damage to your cats. Getting caught in her attacks can web your cats; use basic attacks to get free. Hitting her from behind is also dangerous, as she gets an attack and movement buff.
Once her health goes down, Spinnerette will summon Spider Cats. Defeat the Spider Cats first, and you'll find it easy to take down the larger spider.
Dybbuk
The spirit cat is one of the nastiest enemies to take down, despite having only 85 HP, 5 ATK, 3 SPD, and 5 LCK. Dybbuk always dodges any single-target attacks, swings, or abilities. To harm him, you'll either have to inflict him with some status that deals damage over time or try out AoE abilities. Attacks that move in a linear path also hit Dybbuk and reduce his health.
An easy strategy is to use cats with AoE abilities. If you use single-target choices, try to cover him from all sides. If he doesn't have an available tile, his dodge ability will fail. However, going with attacks that are area-based or do damage over time are suitable.
Additionally, he will also possess the cat that lands the final blow. The possessed cat will recover all HP, and you'll have to capacitate it actually to defeat Dybbuk.
Guillotina
Guillotina is going to be the first House boss that you'll encounter in the first act. The fight will take place in three parts. During the first part, Guillotina will have 400 HP, 5 ATK, 3 SPD, and 5 LCK. During this phase, Guillotina will try to stomp your cats and damage anyone at close range. Try to bring down her health as much as you can to start the second phase.
In the second phase, her body will have 250 HP, 8 ATK, 1 SPD, and 5 LCK. Her head will have 250 HP, 4 ATK, 5 SPD, and 5 LCK. You can ignore the body and concentrate on her severed head. Attacks include linear patterns that knock you back and do plenty of damage. Once the head is destroyed, the body automatically restores +100 HP.
The final phase is a strange one. The body tries to attach to the head; if that happens, Guillotina will perform Shriek, which inflicts Hex and Poison. It's a devastating effect, so try to keep the two parts apart. This will divert the attention of your team towards two enemies, but that's the best way to defeat this House boss.
