Throughout the Oshi no Ko manga and anime, we watch as Aqua Hoshino gradually moves pieces into place to get revenge for the murder of his mother Ai Hoshino, and the in-series movie The 15 Year Lie is a major part of that plan. He knows it's the only way to expose the truth and the person who killed her. Now that we hit volume 12 of the manga, it is starting to come together. So while that means often painful and major changes and realizations for characters, it also means we're closer to the truth.
Editor's Note: There will be minor spoilers for volume 12 of the Oshi no Ko manga below.
From a procedural standpoint, volume 12 of the Oshi no Ko manga is really insightful. The series often gets into the inside baseball elements of the entertainment industry. In this case, that comes down to preparing to get The 15 Year Lie movie about Ai Hoshino actually made. So this installment starts with the movie producer Masaya Kaburagi drumming up support by getting a distributor.
When they get Eikyo Inc to handle getting the film in theaters, that comes at the cost of securing their own 100 million yen in funding from other sources. But then that means acquiescing to their demands in order to secure their investment. So while the actual events relating to characters are huge spoilers that I'd feel bad discussing and disclosing, in the event it'd ruin revelations for people, the procedural elements can be equally interesting.
That leads to another fascinating element of the progress of The 15 Year Lie movie in Oshi no Ko, as investors' interests differ from the director Taishi Gotanda's. While one investor wants Frill Shiranui and Akane Kurosawa is being thrown around, Gotanda wants Ruby Hoshino after meeting her again and seeing exactly how similar she is to her mother. But while there is no traditional audition process, with Frill explaining why after encountering Ruby at school. As a result, we see how the heroine of the film is really chosen.
We're seeing all these steps come together. So much so that we also see Aqua's machinations and manipulations influence things. From the way he handles Akane and Kana Arima especially, we see the thought he puts into his mission. This culminates in us seeing all the moving parts on the production side come together to allow filming proper to begin in the next volume.
Oshi no Ko volume 12 is another example of the series managing to combine the drama and mystery of the characters' lives while also offering possible insight into elements of the entertainment industry. Major moves are happening involving characters like Aqua, Ruby, and Kana in this entry! But equally important is seeing how the producer, director, and actors make their additional moves to get The 15 Year Lie movie made.
Volume 12 of the Oshi no Ko manga is available now, and Yen Press will release volume 13 on April 28, 2026. The first two seasons of the anime are on HIDIVE, and season 3 is streaming on Crunchyroll starting in 2026.

Earning cash in My Winter Car is pretty essential if you're looking to complete the project car as quickly as possible, but having an infinite amount is a different discussion.
Having infinite money makes things ten times easier, as you can buy as many parts for the Corris Rivett as required. However, that also automatically reduces all the challenges of building the vehicle from scratch. As you might have expected, having an infinite pool of wealth isn't possible in the vanilla version of the game.
Table of contents
Best ways to get infinite money in My Winter Car
There are two possible ways to get an infinite pool of money in My Winter Car. Both methods can be considered as cheating, but it doesn't matter, as there's no multiplayer. If you use the methods to get an infinite amount of cash, you'll complete the Corris Rivett build quite quickly, and that's that.
Use Mods
Certain My Winter Car mods allow you to have an infinite amount of money in the game. To do so, you have to download and activate the mods. The FL2S BOX mod, available from NexusMods, is your best shot. It offers a bunch of extra benefits that include infinite money.
The mod also offers God Mode activation, which makes the game really boring. There are a few other mods available on NexusMods that also offer you infinite money, but with fewer game-breaking advantages.
Use MSCEditor
The My Summer Car Editor, or MSCEditor in short, is usable with the current build of My Winter Car. This tool allows you to modify the save game file and various values. This includes the money you have. Once you save and confirm the change, reloading your save will end up with whatever amount you put.
The same task can also be done with the Developer Toolset mod that enables the dev console. You can then use console commands to get as much money as you want.
While it's really easy to get unlimited money in My Winter Car, doing so is just going to ruin the fun. The Corris Rivett has almost 200 parts to get, and the charm is to slowly earn the money and buy them. There are different ways you can work, which include working at the Futufon Office. While this method is slower, it allows you to enjoy the grind and feel the thrill of gradually building up your project car.

Embark Studios is one of the most community-oriented development teams out there, focusing on what the general player base wants instead of only listening to so-called "authority" figures.
Streamer Ninja, who in some other live-service circles would be considered as one such figure, is now fully advocating for ARC Raiders' continued "casual" focus.
"Cater to the f**king casuals, pro play is secondary," Ninja said in a recent stream (thanks CDL Hater Central). He highlighted how the game is primarily casual in nature, and stated that it's these players who are "spending money and playing the game," whereas pros are in the minority. He added that he formerly advocated for more focus on professional play, which he thought would lead to more balance overall, but has since changed his mind.
https://twitter.com/CDLHater/status/2007658565411188948
I think ARC Raiders and any online shooter out there should genuinely always focus on the casual side of things. Professional play is entirely separate and exists on a plane far removed from the one everyone else is on. The builds are never the same, neither are the strats and tactics, and no matter how much casuals try to mimic pro players in casual environments, it'll never result in the same kind of gameplay.
These two categories are so separate that they should never mix, and some developers understand this well. Pros play on standalone servers, have tight-knit queues and environments to operate in, and are kept largely separated from casuals, who make up the vast majority of each game.
What's more, ARC Raiders is an extraction shooter, and its potential as a huge esport isn't so great. Sure, you can form a competitive scene around the game, but it's not a team-based title like Counter-Strike 2 or League of Legends, which serves to drive the "casual" point further. Casual play is at the very heart of the experience, and so it would make no sense as to why Embark should ever cater to this small minority of so-called professionals.
A lot of voices are, unfortunately, advocating for the latter, but Embark has maintained good communication with the broader community so far, catering to its needs and woes, instead of ignoring them and only listening to a gatekept clique of streamers and pros.

There's a bit of a gambling element in My Winter Car in the form of betting tickets, and you can use them effectively to make some quick cash.
Just like gambling in real life, betting packets don't guarantee you money. I also believe an easier way to make money is by doing different jobs. But if you want to try your luck, this guide has you covered.
Table of contents
How to use betting tickets in My Winter Car
The betting ticket in My Winter Car requires you to place bets on ice hockey league games. To do so, you'll have to use a paper ticket to register your bet. Every round has six matches, and you have to bet on at least three.
To buy a ticket, you have to go to the PSK store. Go to the Megaveto booth, and select the banner Koita Ja Voita. Choose your bets on the ticket, and choose Osta Nyt at the top right to pay. Don't forget to specifically register the bets because an empty ticket will still cost you money.
My Winter Car betting odds explained
Betting in My Winter Car follows a standard 1x2 options:
How to check betting ticket results in My Winter Car
You can go to the Megaveto booth at PSK to find the results. You can also use the following teletext pages for the same information.
Once a round has finished, take your ticket to the garbage bin by the betting table. Drop the ticket into the bin, and the payout will be processed if you have won. You'll have to do this only after a round is complete. Doing it prematurely will automatically make your winnings null and void.

For the first time in seven years, a new mystery has been discovered in Red Dead Redemption 2. Full of all sorts of threads to be followed, RDR2 players worked diligently over these past seven years to uncover everything it hid in its vast world, but one seems to have been missed.
As per Synth Potato on X, this newly-discovered mystery, which the players are working around the clock to solve, had to do with a certain telegraph pole. Located near Dewberry Creek, the pole had a spider symbol etched on it, which, when transposed over the full RDR2 map, illustrates branching paths that lead to eight other poles around the game. Every pole had that same spider symbol and a feather attached to them that can be taken off with a well-placed shot.
As Synth Potato explains, there also appeared to be a web-covered tree in the middle of the transposed symbol, indicating that players should go North and find more poles. Further inquisitions showed more directions like NW and S, leading players down a true rabbit hole, or rather, a webway.
https://twitter.com/SynthPotato/status/2007812677452632245
The final pole shows a guitar and an NW direction that takes players to Fort Wallace, though, per Synth Potato, no one has yet figured out what the encampment has to do with the mystery, if anything. Guitars are in the location, but their connection to the easter egg doesn't seem evident at the moment.
This is, as we said above, a mystery that has avoided the player base for over seven years. Easter eggs and mysteries like this one are a staple of Rockstar's game design, and there are countless of them spread out throughout each of the studio's games, especially those released after GTA 4. GTA 5 itself might be the most robust in this respect, though Red Dead Redemption 2 by all means has a ton of them as well.
The ultimate outcome of the mystery is pending further investigation, and I eagerly await the players' discovery.

The Blood of Dawnwalker, an upcoming RPG developed by Rebel Wolves (itself founded by former The Witcher 3 developers) is coming out in 2026. In a New Year special, the developers gave this huge announcement, promising more would be unveiled leading up to launch.
All this and more was shown in a Jan. 3 "Launch Year Special," where Rebel Wolves' global community lead Dominika Burza and game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz recapped 2025 and gave us information about what's to come this year. The two finally revealed when The Blood of Dawnwalker would come out, saying it'd launch sometime in 2026, though they did not give us an exact date.
"We won't reveal the release date today, but you can expect to start hearing from us more and more," Burza said. We can expect to see more gameplay, content, characters, and other features of the game as the devs strive toward including the community and its feedback the game's creative process.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi53m9XLE00
At Gamescom 2025, we spoke to Rebel Wolves and inquired about the game's development and ideas, some of which are akin to RPGs like Persona. The Blood of Dawnwalker seeks to be an innovative iteration on the RPG genre, implementing a time-passing mechanic that puts pressure on everything you do in the game. All of your actions have a "time cost," that you'll have to spend wisely, lest you fail the main quest by not reaching it... in time.
It's one of the most exciting RPGs that are coming out in 2026, and I cannot wait to see more of it.

Ink Inside is unusual. It feels like a cartoon, which makes sense since Blackfield Entertainment flat out established the IP started life as a possible Nickelodeon series. It's got dodgeball elements for its battles, but it also feels like an RPG of sorts. There's adventuring elements to it, with both actual puzzles and some boss fights that function as such. It also might feel a bit weird as you play, as the team established it's the first part (season) of a story envisioned as a three season show.
Ink Inside is simultaneously the story of Hannah, a creative girl in our own world who filled notebooks with her characters and worlds, and her now living creations in said books. Through flashbacks and real-world footage, there are hints that something happened. As a result, the notebooks found themselves in a closet with water dripping onto them. This, in turn, afflicts any beings hit by it with The Sog. The story begins with Detective Fuzz restoring life to an unfinished drawing of a stick man named Stick, who deduces he's a hero. He then is tasked with using Cores to hit soggy enemies in what is basically dodgeball matches to bring peace to worlds and learn more about what's going on, as well as perhaps find the Princess Stephy that he keeps being reminded of.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohcV6hKJriw
The story is mostly interesting, but there are some awkward quirks to the narrative that I hope get addressed in the second installment of Ink Inside. Part of it is that there are sometimes odd breaks that are framed as flashbacks or insights into characters. These can come up with little or no explanation, with the one that acts as a combat tutorial being a perfect example. So much so that I initially wondered if it was a bug due to the way one character's text is presented. There's also the way in which the end currently happens, which led to the team actually addressing the cliffhanger and commit to making things more clear in a future update. It can be clever, with characters like Stick and The Princess of Cursing Traff being stand-outs! But you might find some parts a little off-putting.
Much of Ink Inside involves exploring the world to deal with The Sog in various situations. This almost feels reminiscent of a Paper Mario or The Legend of Zelda style world, with encounters causing you to appear on a dodgeball court with enemies on one side and your characters on the other. (There is optional co-op.) The Cores you've equipped possess different traits, which affect how they behave when thrown in battle. There can be a cooldown after some unsuccessful tosses, in the event when you pull back, aim, and release you don't land a hit. Also, some fights involve additional puzzle mechanics to even deal damage.
Again, in some ways Ink Inside feels like it needs a few more patches in these circumstances to be at its best. For example, the first serious boss fight involves controlling a claw to knock an airborne opponent down so you can hit it with a thrown Core. But this can feel more convoluted than necessary since Stick must remain stationary at the controls while the enemy attacks, and you need to be precise to knock it down. Once I had Traff in my party, I felt like maybe she was bugged in some way as she wouldn't act during matches. There are segments that could use more explanation, namely related to the special attacks that can be used out of battle to progress.
It does feel like there's something here, in part due to the characters and story of Ink Inside being so personable and potential to its dodgeball combat. I sort of feel like maybe it isn't quite there yet. Like it definitely needs at least one more patch to start feeling a bit more sound. I do definitely think that, by the time a sequel comes around, it will be in a much better place.
Ink Inside is available for the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Being naughty might be nice in real life, but it can end up with you having to visit the jail in My Winter Car.
While the prison is completely avoidable, you can land in trouble if you're not careful. Different offences can potentially hand you jail time. Let's look at how you can avoid going to prison in the first place, and what to do if you eventually get one.
Table of contents
When are you sent to jail in My Winter Car
There are multiple reasons why you might accrue prison sentences in My Winter Car.
How do you get out of jail in My Winter Car
If you can avoid doing the tasks mentioned above, you won't be sent to jail. However, the only legitimate way of getting out of jail is to serve your prison sentence. One day in jail equals two in-game hours, and here are the prison sentences.
If you don't want to fulfil your prison sentences legitimately, the only alternative is to use the MSCEditor. The editor, originally meant for My Summer Car, also appears to be working (limited extent) in My Winter Car.
Once you have launched MSCEditor and loaded the default save, change the following values.
Relaunch the game after saving the changes, and you'll be in jail. Spend the day sleeping, and you'll be free to go in the morning. This trick doesn't magically make your prison sentences disappear, but reduces them to just one day (irrespective of what your offense is).

As is tradition by now, Valve hosted the annual Steam Awards, which ran for a couple months near the end of last year. Entirely player-based, the Awards are granted by Steam users alone, who, believe it or not, did not pick the undisputed king of gaming, Expedition 33.
Instead, the ultimate Game of the Year among Steam users was none other than Hollow Knight: Silksong, a game so wildly popular it crashed the platform upon its launch. Enjoyed by millions and highly-anticipated, it's no surprise Silksong won, given just how long players had waited for its release since the first game in the series blew everyone away back in early 2017.
That isn't to say that Expedition 33 won nothing. It, indeed, did carry home one award, the one for Best Soundtrack, and I wholeheartedly believe it deserved it. We can argue about how much E33 deserved the many awards it got, especially in some categories at the TGA (cough, Best Direction over Death Stranding 2, cough), but the soundtrack is so phenomenal and outstanding that no number of awards would do it justice.
Silksong also won the Best Game You Suck At Award, again no surprise due to its overall difficulty, as is only natural for a Soulslike title.
Dispatch, too, was awarded here even if it was snubbed at last year's award shows, primarily because its episodes started coming out after most shows had cemented their nominees. We should see Dispatch considered in the 2026 window, though, but it's nice to see the Steam community recognize the game on such short notice, and in a category as prestigious as they come: Outstanding Story-Rich Game.

The septic pumping job is something you can undertake in My Winter Car if you're short of cash, and it will allow you to drive an extra vehicle that's otherwise not possible.
The job of pumping the septic tank can be unlocked after a phone call that will ask you for a favor. This appears to be the only job from which you can't get fired (so no performance pressure at all). This guide will elaborate on all the steps to complete if you want to excel at cleaning someone else's bathroom.
Table of contents
How to start the septic pumping job in My Winter Car
To begin the job, you'll have to wait for a phone call that will inform you that their sewage well is full. Answer the call and wait for the NPC to disconnect it from their end. Don't disconnect it prematurely; otherwise, the quest won't begin. Once the dialogue completes and you accept the job, a new location marker will pop up, indicating where you have to be.
Your main task is to drive the Gifu to this location. The Gifu is a special tanker that will allow you to clear the sewage.
How to complete the septic pumping job in My Winter Car
Once you've reached the marked location with the Gifu, you'll find a septic tank (grey-colored and has a square lid). Remove the lid carefully after parking the Gifu close to the septic tank. Remove the hose from the back of the tanker and place it inside the septic tank.
Go to the cabin of the Gifu and turn on the hydraulics. You'll also find a hand throttle. If your character starts coughing at the stench, it means that you've started the work successfully. Once the job is over, you'll be informed by the homeowner, who will congratulate you.
Take the money, remove the hose from the septic tank, and place the hose end at the back of the Gifu. If it accidentally falls inside the tank, save and reload to reset its position. If the Gifu's tank is full, you can unload the waste at the Waste Treatment Facility.

There are many ways to earn money in My Winter Car, and one of them involves delivering firewood to suitable locations.
This specific job can provide you with a steady source of revenue while you're trying to build your project car. The Corris Rivett has plenty of parts to buy, and obtaining them will become easier once you sell firewood to the required NPC.
This guide will list all the steps required to become a woodcutter (of sorts) in the game.
How to start the firewood delivery job in My Winter Car
The firewood delivery job can be unlocked pretty early, but there are a few prerequisites. You'll want to first visit two spots as denoted by the following map image.
If you go to the spot marked as "CR" in the image above, you'll find an NPC called Reijo. He will reveal the Corris Rivett to you, which is the project vehicle. He will also require you to find firewood.
The next task is to reach the point marked as "KM" on the map. You'll find the Kekmet 502 tractor at this location. You'll also get the lumber conveyor at the same spot. Drive the Kekmet carefully around the chopper and attach the two. We already have a detailed guide about how to complete the process.
You can use the throttle inside the Kekmet to control the speed and power at which the cutter operates. You'll also find logs in the storage. Pick one up and place it in the cutter. The cutter will automatically chop the logs and place the pieces in the trailer.
Once all the wood has been cut, take the trailer back to Reijo. You'll need to use the Kekmet to move the trailer, and then reverse it so that the firewood can be unloaded using the hydraulic lever. You'll get your payment based on how much wood you deliver.

The masterful Silent Hill 2 remake and the adventurous Silent Hill f had fans hopeful that the franchise would find new life. Konami has recently revealed that Silent Hill will indeed continue, but in a manner worthy of great concern.
In a recent year-end interview with Japanese website 4 Gamer, series producer Motoi Okamoto revealed that Konami is committed to Silent Hill, and that they want to make it a yearly thing. Currently, Konami is employing different studios to work on the announced Silent Hill games, Townfall, and the remake of the original Silent Hill game. That's the right approach.
They have a higher chance of meeting the high-quality standards of fans, as opposed to having the same studio continuously trying to meet short deadlines to release a fresh and authentic-feeling title. Still, we can look into so many big franchises like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and the MCU to realize you can easily have people fatigued through relentless output.
The original Silent Hill completely changed the gaming landscape because it was allowed to. Konami didn't originally know what to do with the members of what would become "Team Silent," so the company tasked them with doing whatever they wanted, however they wanted, so long as it would result in a horror game. Konami knew that Resident Evil's massive success ensured that every subsequent survival horror title would turn a profit. What it didn't know, however, was that the team was also cracking the code on how to make a great game.
While Konami is currently fulfilling everyone's Silent Hill needs, that hasn't been the case for quite a while. After the incredibly promising Silent Hills got axed in 2014, we had one entire decade where the only official Silent Hill outings were pachinko machines. No, really. The new course correction lands the series at the opposite end of the spectrum it had inhabited for the past decade. Are we about to find out that longing for Silent Hill was better than just seeing it become another product aimed at just profiting on all fronts? Motoi Okamoto's statement, "In the future, the number of merchandise items will increase, so I think there will be even more fun outside of games," seems to point to the less-desired outcome.
Silent Hill's wider future
Silent Hill features companion products, such as a novel that expands on the game's lore, a practice I'm not keen on. I believe everything about a game's background should be contained within the game itself. This way, you have a full experience, not something whose supposed incomplete state can be exploited by a company to extract extra money from fans.
Konami is also trying to expand Silent Hill in more conventional ways. After the abject failure of the second Silent Hill movie, Silent Hill: Revelation, and the terrible Silent Hill interactive series, Konami is having a more serious go with Return to Silent Hill. It's a live-action retelling of Silent Hill 2, the series' trump card, but it has already been met with criticism. The first released trailer drew the ire of so many fans that the studio decided to remove it a couple of hours later.
https://youtu.be/n4ZfhMKssys
I like what they're going for, a reimagining of SH2 instead of another straight-up remake, though I fear the production may not have as much budget as they probably needed to realize their ambitious vision. I just could do without the trailer hammering that it's "Based on the visionary game Silent Hill 2" twice.
Either way, Cristophe Gans is a great director. Chances are, you know he directed the underrated first Silent Hill film, but did you know his Brotherhood of the Wolf film directly inspired the hunters from Bloodborne? Bloober Team definitely had a weaker track record before doing Silent Hill 2 Remake, and they sure did pull it off, so let's give the man a chance.

The Progressing Along Evolution is now live in FC 26 Ultimate Team, and it's an exciting upgrade option for a Bronze card of your choice.
This evolution is available for free, but you have to assist at least one goal in five games in the new Time Warp Bronze Exhibition tournament. The evolution upgrades your selected Bronze card to a Silver and adds the Time Warp promo to it. Your chosen card will also get vital stat upgrades, playstyles, and roles.

Best players to use in Progressing Along Evolution
Here are some of my best recommendations for inclusion in the evolution.
While the upgrades are significant, you will be able to include these cards in future evolutions to create a chain and evolve their stats further.

The Let's do the Time Warp again objective is now live in FC 26 Ultimate Team, offering some significant evolutions, packs, and a guaranteed Time Warp promo item.
The latest objective is part of the Time Warp Bronze Exhibition that rewards you with some fantastic stuff. For the first time, we have a tourney specifically focused towards Bronze items, and playing games in it will help you get plenty of freebies.
FC 26 Let's do the Time Warp again objective guide
The Let's do the Time Warp again objective has five tasks to complete. The table below has exact information about what you need to do to complete all of them.
Completing the full set also gets you the Timeless Talent evolution that allows you to add defensive solidity to a card of your choice. The entire objective set looks quite interesting, as you don't have to win any game to get the rewards. As long as you're playing and scoring goals, you should eventually finish all the tasks.
While you can save the packs for the TOTY promo, the three evolutions are excellent. They're perfect for boosting Silver Icon Stars if you've unlocked them this season. The upgraded cards will also help you ace the Season 4 Silver Exhibition tournament that goes live later in January.
The free Nzonzi promo item also looks decent at CDM despite missing a few crucial playstyles. Overall, you should complete the new Bronze cup objective as quickly as possible.

You can include a wide variety of items in this evolution.
These are arguably some of the best options you can include in this evolution. This is one of the best evolutions for creating a chain. While there's a slight overall boost, your chosen card will remain in the fray for getting more upgrades in the near future.

Over the past few months, I've crafted my fair share of builds in ARC Raiders—from loot-oriented quick and nimble loadouts to fully stacked, armored, and heavily armed PVP ones. But where I have faltered are the skills, specifically by not investing heavily in the Traveling Tinkerer perk.
Field crafting seemed quite interesting to me from the first time I saw it, and I even ended up including it in my initial skill tree guide back when the game first released. What I failed to take into account was how useful the second field crafting perk was, i.e., how invaluable Traveling Tinkerer is. It's located a bit further into the Survival skill tree and builds on top of the field crafting perk that enables making items on the go.
One particular item that gives you the ability to craft mid-match is Raider Hatch Keys, which are perhaps the most valuable pieces of loot in the entire game. Extracting from a regular elevator is fine and dandy until you find yourself carrying 100,000 credits of loot, pink items, blueprints, weapons, and other rare items that turn extraction into a nightmare.
Raider Hatch Keys? They solve that issue instantly, allowing you to extract without waiting for a long time, hoping no ARC or player shows up to put an end to your escape attempt.
Given how many hatches are located on each of the maps, Keys would almost guarantee your success topside. The only downside here is that you'd have to carry the necessary materials on your person, which could be challenging to come by. However, that is more than made up for by the sheer ability to make these Keys (among all the other valuable items that field crafting unlocks, like consumables for healing and shield recharging).
Suffice it to say that I'm never leaving Speranza without this thing, and since Embark introduced proper skill resets (that do not require Expeditions), it's quite easy to take away points from useless trees I'd been investing into thus far.
And I'd suggest you do the same.
