Microsoft has begun to roll out Gaming Copilot, its AI companion for gamers, to Windows 11 beta testers. The feature is available from the Windows Game Bar and is designed to be the "ultimate gaming sidekick" to help you in tricky-to-navigate gaming situations. Microsoft claims it will make gaming "more seamless" but, like all AI tools, your mileage is likely to vary.

While the feature is just for Windows 11 Insider testers right now, it's likely we'll see the feature rolled out to the general public over the next few months. It's a natural step for Microsoft, a company which has bet big on the AI revolution by ramming it into as many of its tools as possible. You shouldn't need a top PC from our best gaming PC guide for it to work, either.

The Hbada E3 Pro Ergonomic office chair is not just made for a little sit. Oh no, it is designed to provide comfort and support for extended periods, whether you're working or gaming - though of course, it's still good at those little sits too. After all, "sit well, stay healthy" is Hbada's mantra.

Released in September 2021, the E3 Pro originally cost $709.99, but has had what appears to be a permanent reduction to a more comfortable $509.99 price. This chair may seem like a decadent expense, but unlike a lot of the other so-called "ergonomic" chairs out there, it offers both decent lumbar support and a great footrest. It even comes in pink! That alone isn't enough to earn a spot on our best gaming chair guide but combined with all its other brilliant features it is.

This isn't Hbada's highest-tier office chair, as that honor goes to the E3 Ultra. However, the differences between the two are quite subtle, despite the pronounced $664.99 price gap. The main difference is that the E3 Ultra has 360° mechanical armrests instead of 6D armrests. But other than that, both chairs have an "auto gravity-sensing chassis" and high elasticity cushions (and of course, both are still very comfortable). The E3 Pro manages to tick almost all of the same boxes, but without the price tag soaring too high.

A modder has successfully demonstrated a workable method for upgrading the Steam Deck OLED to 32GB of RAM. With some of the latest handheld gaming PCs now shipping with 32GB, this timely upgrade offers one way to improve the longevity of the popular Valve handheld, as long as you've got the guts to rip it apart and solder the new RAM modules into place.

The Steam Deck continues to be our favorite portable gaming device in our best handheld buying guide, but it only offers 16GB of RAM, unlike some of its newer competitors. The OLED model is no different, offering a better screen but with similar specs to the original, meaning 16GB is your limit without a mod like such as this one. It isn't going to be for the faint of heart, however, and we wouldn't recommend it for most gamers unless you're handy with a soldering iron.

Halloween nowadays is used primarily as an excuse to dress up, eat way too much candy, and watch Hocus Pocus. Over 2,000 years before it evolved into the massively commercialized holiday we currently celebrate, Halloween was a Celtic festival known as Samhain. Marking the time of the year when the Celts believed the veil between life and death was at its weakest, allowing spirits to enter the living realm, the people erected bonfires and donned costumes to ward off evil entities.

I met Amelia Tyler in the restroom at Tennocon, Warframe's annual community event. The stars aligned an hour before my allocated interview slot with her (the interview did not take place in said restroom, to clarify) and it felt like, as a result, we'd formed a bond forged in fire and bad-smelling soap. In many ways, our newfound friendship felt akin to the ones I'd formed in Baldur's Gate 3 with Astarion, Lae'zel, and my beloved Shadowheart: a chance meeting that changed, in BG3's case, the course of history, and in our case, the general vibe of our interview (and potentially history, too). It's a relationship that you never quite have with the narrator of Faerûn's greatest tale to date; she's a faceless whisper, tempting and dissuading in her own way. She isn't a visible entity like Karlach, Wyll, and company, but she is still a character in her own right.

Whether you take up the mantle of a defenseless little clockwork bunny or the malevolent Magician, the Carnival Hunt system requirements bear no ill will towards any modern gaming rig. If anything, mastering the game's mechanics and learning the map will prove far more of a challenge, even for Dead By Daylight veterans.

Carnival Hunt takes your average Dead By Daylight map, fleshes it out in incredible detail, and adds a considerable element of verticality. You and three other clockwork bunnies must escape the clutches of the carnival monsters without running out of charge or taking too much damage. As the monster, you'll be hunting for keys to keep your own dark clockwork ticking while chasing terrified players. If I went to hell, I can't imagine the first thing on my mind would be trying to pull off a bank job with a crew of fellow damned souls. However, in freshly announced tactical RPG Thousand Hells: The Underworld Heists, that's the sort thing you'll be doing, with plenty of choice and consequence if things go pear-shaped.

Thousand Hells is the latest cool thing from Six Ages and King of Dragon Pass devs A Sharp. While they're working with Kitfox Games as publisher again, there's plenty of different stuff going on, including a move away from world of Glorantha as a setting. That's in favour of fantasy pastures new, inspired by myths of the ancient proto-Indo-European, Norse, and Mesopotamian varieties. Oh, and a dash of Hieronymus Bosch's lovely paintings.

To speedily summarise a lot of very knotty reporting, last month a bunch of credit card companies and payment processors forced Steam and Itch.io to alter their definitions of acceptable sexual material in PC games. Seemingly faced with the prospect of having all transactions blocked, the two storefronts now require developers to comply with the extremely open-ended adult content policies of their financial partners. This has led to a spate of delistings or outright takedowns across Steam and especially Itch, with projects affected ranging from anime stepdaughter fantasies on Steam to bundles of self-described "games for girlthings with something wrong with them".

1000 Deaths, which released yesterday, primarily pitches itself as a 3D platformer with some tricksy plays on gravity – but the running and jumping only demands half your attention at most. The other half is dedicated to shaping the lives of four variously maladjusted losers (who, like the rest of their surroundings, resemble a child's crayon drawings made flesh), the platforming challenges being punctuated by destiny-altering decisions to make on their behalf. Hints of VVVVVV, but with stronger notes of a Telltale adventure that's been left in a microwave.

Super Mario 64 Start Menu Channeled by Hello Mario App

Nintendo announced a number of pieces of Super Mario series merchandise geared toward little kids, and among them is a Hello Mario Switch and mobile app. That will function in a manner similar to the Super Mario 64 start menu, in which someone could interact with Mario's face to change it around or see different reactions. There will also be two wood block sets that act as toys and amiibo. The new items and the app will launch in Japan on August 26, 2025, but some of the merchandise won't appear in the US and other regions until 2026.

In the one Japanese announcement, a number of Hello Mario photos appeared that showed how similar to the Super Mario 64 Mario face start menu the app will be. The difference is, this will be a more cartoonish, 2D rendition. Other images suggested we'll be able to interact with the character's hands and offer items like a mushroom. That will be a free app.

Here's how the initial images look:

In the case of the My Mario wood block sets that are also amiibo, there is one basic option and another more intricate one. The base Mario Wood Block Set is ¥2,980 (~$20). That gives you a Mario block, a mushroom one, and a question block. According to the announcement, the Mario one would function as an amiibo. The Mario and Friends Wood Block set is ¥19,980 (~$135). That features 30 blocks and a box that offers a stage backdrop. Some of the more notable character ones that are also amiibo include Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi. The Mario one is identical to the one in the smaller, three-piece set. So if you get the larger one, you don't need to get the smaller one too.

Here are all the blocks:

As for the other pieces of Super Mario merchandise in the English announcement, a  ¥1,870 (~$13) Hello Mario interactive picture book and free It's Me, Mario! Stop Motion Shorts came up. The Japanese site also showed clothing and plush toys for kids.

The My Mario merchandise inspired by the Super Mario series and Hello Mario Switch and mobile app will come to Japan on August 26, 2025. Some items in the collection will appear worldwide in 2026.

Grass Wonder Horse That Inspired Umamusume Character Died

Cygames announced on social media that the race horse Grass Wonder, which inspired the fictional character of the same name in the Umamusume: Pretty Derby game and anime, died. He was 30 years old when he died on August 8, 2025. In real life, the animal raced between 1997 and 2000 before being retired.

In Umamusume: Pretty Derby, Grass Wonder is a character present since launch. She's a two-star unit, though like all of them can be upgraded up to five stars if you get enough Star Pieces. Her skills like in her ability to run Mile or Long races on Turf, though since her Medium ranking is "B" it is easy to get that up to "A" level as well. In terms of strategy, you want to run her using either a Pace or Late strategy. This also tied in with her Unique Skill called Where There's a Will, There's a Way, as it makes her speed up if she's in a Pace, Late, or End position toward the middle or back and passes someone.

She also plays prominent roles in original anime. Grass Wonder is a part of Team Spica alongside characters based on other major horses like Special Week, Silence Suzuka, Gold Ship, and El Condor Pasa. However, due to the way the story is told there, she's only one of the more prominent characters in the first season.

Given the nature of the game, there are a number of Umamusume: Pretty Derby characters based on race horses that are still alive. One of them is Haru Urara. As a result, fans of the racer in the title actually sent her grass to eat or even visited her in Japan.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby is available for the PC and mobile devices, the original anime is streaming on Crunchyroll, and the Cinderella Gray anime is on Amazon

Metal Gear Solid Delta Fox Hunt Online Multiplayer Arrives Post-Launch

With Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater set to arrive at the end of August 2025, Konami offered an update on the Fox Hunt online multiplayer mode. It will appear in Fall 2025. It will be a competitive mode, and it also again established this is a hide-and-seek type of competition.

The updated site noted it is based on Metal Gear Online "Sneaking." In that PS3 game, there were multiple stealth multiplayer options. The standard Sneaking Mission involved an OctoCamo Snake who may or may not have an ally and others trying to find him. Team Sneaking involved one stealth team and the other defending against them. The third was a free-for-all that involved every player with stealth camouflage to hide and take out others.

Here are some of the latest Fox Hunt screenshots Konami shared:

One element we won't have to wait for. The Ape Escape crossover content will be in Metal Gear Solid Delta at launch. The Snake Escape minigame appeared in the original title.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will come out on August 28, 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam, and the Fox Hunt online multiplayer mode will debut sometime in Fall 2025. Standard and collector's editions will be available.

Each ticket will guarantee a prize reward, but prizes in higher tiers will have a lower probability. Capcom will also offer simultaneous domestic shipments for up to 20 prizes to the same address at 660 yen (~$4.50).

The full prize list from the kuji lottery is as follows:

  • S Prize: Big trainer sweatshirt (free size)
  • A Prize: Desk mat (3 available designs)
  • B Prize: Pouch (2 available colors — blue or green)

The Dino Crisis Cap Kuji Online lottery is available until Friday, September 12, 2025, at 1:59 PM JST. Capcom will deliver the prizes between late December 2025 and early January 2026.

Preview: Discounty Starts Out Store Management Simply

Discounty is Crinkle Cut Games and PQube's latest store management sim, and it also happens to be the name of the tiny supermarket off the highway in a town that's seen better days. However, the goal is of course for your efforts improving it to also help build up the community too. Given I've only played a handful of hours, I'm not exactly sure how good we'll all be at accomplishing those larger goals. But when it comes to just getting started, it seems like it attempts to get everyone off on the right foot as a new store manager.

Blomkest is a small town that… doesn't leave a good impression. A lot of stores are closed and dilapidated. You can tell it was once a relatively major hub, due to being just off the highway and having a harbor nearby. But now, there's just so little there. A small supermarket is nearby, but even it is barebones. Players' aunts invited them to run it, calling in a favor, in the hopes of rejuvenating the area. It's up to someone to start small, then build up what you can offer, how big your store is, and your customer base.

Discounty does start out simply. You get a few shelves and stock essentials like soda, apples, milk, and toilet paper. Each shelf up front can hold five of each item, but the back storeroom can hold boxes of additional stock. Since you're it when it begins, that means you do it all. Handle the checkout (complete with hand-entering and adding up totals), clean up messes, restock, reorganize, and address any issues. Things are fairly simple to accomplish, though at the start you're naturally limited by how many items you can stock, what you can carry, and so on.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCAKNe0GINY

I do appreciate that, while Discounty is a store management simulation, the game has you work in town and outside the supermarket to handle business and build up something of a life. You have your home in a trailer near your aunt's house. Early on, you're introduced to placing up advertisements in order to spread the word about your place. You're encouraged to interact with the people who are in Blomkest, and assisting opens up more. The most obvious situation involves a man named Karl. If you find his missing sheep, then there's the promise of opening up access to a new area past the park.

The only thing I don't like about Discounty after playing the demo is that it isn't always optimized. Since this is an earlier build, maybe things could change or be improved in patches? Handling the checkout on a Lenovo Legion Go handheld gaming PC like a Steam Deck isn't really comfortable. (I didn't mind the math element, since it's light and easy stuff.) It means it can take a while to enter everything and get it done correctly, which can be frustrating when multiple customers are waiting. When placing an order for the next day, you can also only do one. Forget to order an item? You can't place a second order and also have it arrive. It's little things that could add up the more people play. It would also be nice if the hotbar that holds all of our items was a bit easy to navigate. I didn't expect to need to go back and forth with the shoulder buttons, rather than just have it cycle, but again that could eventually be changed. (Hopefully!)

But in general, Discounty seems rather sound. It's an easy to adjust to supermarket management simulation. You get a lot of control over how your store looks, what you stock, and running the place. There are a few comfort issues and I could see room for some quality adjustments along the way. Hopefully, we'll see patches for those. But the early impression is a pleasant one.

Discounty will come to the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on August 21, 2025.

A snap of the upcoming MESA update in PEAK

Indie co-op survival adventure PEAK has announced its first major expansion, and it's coming right after the weekend.

Titled Mesa, the upcoming update will be the first major expansion in the game's history. The developers shared a small trailer ahead of the launch, which gave a few ideas about the general theme of the new content. What makes me happy is knowing the launch date, so that my buddies and I can prepare accordingly.

PEAK's Mesa update should be the perfect excuse to pick up the game

PEAK is arguably one of the most fun games I have played with friends, and minor updates have added to the entertainment value. Who could have foreseen the cannibalism update that has been added as actual content? So far, the content updates have been minor, as the focus has been on bug fixes.

Come Aug. 11, that will all change. The Mesa update's trailer might also have revealed what we can expect. There should be a new biome if the cactus is anything of significance. I am more interested in seeing how the new biome fits in with the existing ones on the island.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihdM6AtkgCA

If you thought survival on the island was hard, it could become even more difficult. We could be getting tornadoes as part of the Mesa update. Of course, this is purely my speculation based on the trailer, but surviving a full-scale tornado might make all our lives pretty difficult.

The developers haven't announced the exact release time, but the update goes live on Monday. Additionally, we can also look forward to an exclusive quest that PEAK will have with Discord. This limited-time quest will be live between Aug. 11 and Aug. 17, and allow you to unlock your very own Bing Bong avatar.

I have also noticed that there's a host of new achievements, which are likely going to be added to the game related to the upcoming update. For the time being, the only option is to wait patiently for Monday to arrive.

A hole in Grafton Farmhouse looking out at a tree and field at night in Phasmophobia

Grafton Farmhouse is getting a massive makeover in Phasmophobia, but not in the way you might expect. This rework is turning it from just a regular home into a dilapidated building that's fallen into absolute ruin.

If it's anything like the Bleasdale Farmhouse rework, the Grafton makeover will likely make it feel like a whole new map with plenty of exciting additions to explore. To ensure you're ready to start ghost hunting as soon as possible, here's the exact time and date when the Phasmophobia Grafton Farmhouse rework update will be released.

Phasmophobia Grafton Farmhouse rework update release date and time

The exact launch time for the Grafton Farmhouse rework update hasn't been shared, but it was confirmed to launch on Aug. 12 in an official blog post highlighting future content. Although a release time hasn't been shared, most past updates and events have been released around the same time, which is 7am CT/12pm UTC.

For now, we've set our countdown to precisely this time. If the devs share a different time or any delays occur, we'll update all relevant details here, so you can check back leading up to the launch to see how much longer you have to wait.

[hurrytimer id="1101861"]

  • PT: 5am on Aug. 12
  • CT: 7am on Aug. 12
  • ET: 8am on Aug. 12
  • BST: 1pm on Aug. 12
  • CEST: 2pm on Aug. 12
  • JST: 9pm on Aug. 12
  • AEST: 10pm on Aug. 12

Phasmophobia Grafton Farmhouse rework update features

A broken table in the dining room in Grafton Farmhouse in Phasmophobia
Image via Kinetic Games

The Grafton Farmhouse rework update focuses on completely overhauling the look and feel of the classic Grafton Farmhouse map. This update will be very similar to the one that remodeled Bleasdale Farmhouse, meaning that it's focused on one specific location.

While the Bleasdale Farmhouse makeover was dedicated to making it feel much more luxurious and fancy, the Grafton Farmhouse remodel is going for exactly the opposite treatment. Broken windows, shattered lights, scattered rubble, barely patched-together walls, ruined furniture, and creepy mannequins are just a few of the features that have been teased for this refurbishment in various blogs.

Dev preview 19 painted a great picture of what to expect with this rework with this teaser: "Surrounded by a near dead cornfield, Grafton Farmhouse has been long abandoned, walls crumbled apart, doors boarded, and the building left open to be beaten by the extreme weather conditions. What caused this once thriving home to be evacuated, and what still lingers there?"

The basic bones of Grafton Farmhouse will remain, but it will likely feel like almost an entirely new location outside of the main layout. In the dev preview 19, the devs did confirm that it will include some "minor layout changes," though, including some re-themed rooms, small alterations to the size of certain rooms, and the addition of a compact attic.

Since this update is dedicated to overhauling Grafton Farmhouse, it doesn't seem to include any other new additions. We won't know for sure until the update is released, though, but considering the Bleasdale Farmhouse rework update only featured minor changes and bug fixes, we can likely expect the same to be true here.

While you wait for this exciting update to arrive, there are plenty of tasks to keep you busy in the meantime. You might work on finishing the weekly challenge, unlocking all hidden achievements, tracking down Slenderman, and mastering the use of the Sound Recorder.

Naked Snake sneaking around in MGS Delta.

MGS Delta: Snake Eater, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, is not going to launch with its planned multiplayer mode, Fox Hunt. This new online component will differ from previous iterations, such as Metal Gear Online, and should come within a few months after release.

Though Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is still aiming to release worldwide and on all major platforms on Aug. 28, its online component, called Fox Hunt, will be put off for a few months. According to IGN, Konami did not specify when exactly Fox Hunt is to be added to MGS Delta, but said it'll be this Fall, i.e., between September and December.

As opposed to previous online Metal Gear modes, such as Metal Gear Online that came with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Fox Hunt is a unique and specially designed mode tied solely to this new Metal Gear title. As Yu Sahara, a long-time Metal Gear Solid developer, told IGN, Fox Hunt is "a completely original" mode with "completely different" gameplay to MGS Delta: Snake Eater.

He added that Fox Hunt will be focused on survival and stealth and be "more than just a shootout," explaining the mode should take "camouflage and hide and go seek to the next level."

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of the 2004 classic stealth-action game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, directed by the one and only Hideo Kojima. It aims to maintain the original's core design philosophy and stick as closely to it as possible while expanding mechanics and introducing waves of quality-of-life improvements, among other things.

It is slated for release on Aug. 28, though unfortunately without its multiplayer component.

Players shooting Klaus drones in BO6 Zombies Reckoning

Uber Klaus is the new elite enemy in BO6 Zombies' Reckoning map, and the monstrosity can truly test the abilities of your team to the brink.

Out of all the enemies I've faced, Uber Klaus can be one of the toughest nemeses to take down (ignoring the main bosses). It has a massive amount of armor that absorbs damage quite easily. But like all enemies, Uber Klaus has certain weaknesses, and you can exploit them with a few strategic decisions.

BO6 Zombies Reckoning Uber Klaus weak points

The Uber Klaus has a visible weak spot on both of its shoulders, which are its shield generators. The shield generators should be your primary targets, since they will take down the monster's defenses. Once the shields are down, you'll be able to dish out decent damage, which can be further amplified with the help of suitable ammo mods (more on that later).

Uber Klaus in BO6 Zombies in Season 5
Screenshot via Activsion

The Uber Klaus has an apparent weakness: its attacking patterns. If you get within its melee damage radius, you'll lose a large amount of health on one hit. You could even get knocked out if your shields are down. The easiest way to counter this is by staying at a distance and using assault rifles. If you have already defeated him once, chances are you have the Gorgofex. The Wonder Weapon will be an amazing option, but use assault rifles that are high on the current meta.

Once you've done a lot of damage, the Uber Klaus Core will jump and start chasing you. It's fast, but squishier. Land a few headshots, and that should do the job.

Best BO6 Zombies Reckoning ammo mods against Uber Klaus

My favorite against Klaus is my all-time trusted ally: Cryo Freeze. Some of my allies enjoyed hitting him with Napalm Burst, but Cryo Freeze is my go-to choice. It slows down other zombies and Klaus on successful hits, and also affects the rate of shield generation. Once you can debuff his defenses, Klaus is a sitting duck.

Cryo Freeze and its effects are also fantastic against the second form of Klaus, as the dent in its movement speed will be amazing. This should be your choice, but Napalm Burst is a good alternative.

Fortnite Shock N' Awesome battle pass secret skin

The Dino Megazord outfit, an amalgam of all the Power Rangers, is the secret skin featured in Chapter Six, season four. Unlike all of the other styles, this one won't be obtainable until Sept. 16, when quests to unlock it will become available. There are two pages of rewards featured alongside this skin, meaning there are plenty of accesories to go with them.

MGSD Snake Eater Snake

As I attempt to gracefully age into my elder years as a gamer who just so happens to write about their hobby as a career, I'm generally a pretty happy person on any given day, and I'm thankful for that.

But man, sometimes I just want to be left alone. And years ago, that never would've been the case. In my 20s, if I was stuck at home alone on a Friday or Saturday night, I would've been disgusted. Now? It's all I long for.

Mafia The Old Country Enzo and Luca
Image via 2K

This is just one of several reasons why, as I age, I appreciate singleplayer games more and more. Other reasons are totally out of my control, like the fact that aging usually means having fewer and fewer friends to game with.

As you get older and friends and relatives start building their own families, having jobs, and their own lives and responsibilities, they tend to game less. And if they do game, trying to match up your schedule with theirs to play a couple multiplayer matches becomes a more and more tiring and difficult process.

Thusly, this means if I do want to play a multiplayer game like Marvel Rivals, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, Battlefield, or anything else, it means going it solo. And man, playing multiplayer games as a solo player sucks pretty damn hard.

Multiplayer games are generally enriched by having friends to chat it up with, talk crap to, or work together with to achieve an objective. But by myself? I detest my teammates, I dislike how sweaty I have to play if I want to succeed with random allies, and it usually just ends up pissing me off more than anything else.

But with solo, singleplayer experiences, I find peace and enjoyment, and I don't need anybody else for it. Several 2025 titles already come to mind for fond gaming memories I've made on my own, including Mafia: The Old Country, Death Stranding 2, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (the latter two are likely my top picks for GOTY thus far). I didn't have to rely on anyone else but myself and some me time to have some fun, and my old ass loves that fact.

I do long for the days of staying up all night, grinding levels in Destiny 2, or those "just one more match" evenings in CoD or Overwatch. But in my isolation, I've found that maybe my best co-op partner is me? Weird to think about.

As publishers continue to try to push the envelope with "live-service" multiplayer games, I just wish for more isolated singleplayer ones. Don't get me wrong, I still find some joy in a handful of multiplayer matches, but it gets old quick. Give me more games like the ones above, and please, publishers, let the developers do the work they need and finish them before rushing them to market.

Expeditioners in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Image via Sandfall Interactive

Thankfully, 2025 has several promising solo titles left to look forward to, including Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Hell is Us, Silent Hill f, Ghost of Yōtei, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and more. I greatly anticipated locking my door and shutting out the world for those and many more into my senior years.

I'm 36, by the way, so I intend on being around for a lot more of these experiences. I just hope the gaming industry still finds value in them like I do.

Battlefield 6 aiming RPG at a helicopter

Battlefield 6 has only just begun its early access open beta window, and we already have reports of cheaters in the game. What we believed was impossible given EA's heavily intrusive anti-cheat measures became reality within hours of the beta's launch, and it can only get worse from here.

Though it's not even been a full day since Battlefield 6's open beta (early access) began, we already have confirmation of active cheats in the game. This could come as a relative surprise, given how far EA has gone to prevent cheating in its new franchise installment, from a new kernel-level anti-cheat called Javelin to Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 requirements, both of which should prevent unrecognized software from running on your machine.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFfs_D6JzEo

The cheats in question, showed above, are a soft auto-aim and full-blown wallhack, giving the user all the information they could possibly want in a shooter. While Battlefield 6 is by no means Counter-Strike or Valorant, where cheats like these offer a competitive edge, it's still a massive disadvantage for anyone playing against them.

It's still unclear how exactly these cheats work, but from what I could gather over the years, these sophisticated premium-priced programs usually find ways to bypass memory checks any given anti-cheat performs, thereby completely avoiding its detection. What's more, it seems they now work externally rather than being run on your machine directly, which should help bypass even TPM and Secure Boot measures EA has put in for Battlefield 6.

Keep in mind that these high-level cheats are very expensive and hard to obtain, which should help alleviate the fears that Battlefield is about to be a cheat-ridden hellhole, much like some other shooters these days. Circumventing all the measures put in place for the game, however, is extremely hard and will likely not be used en masse, or at least I hope.

Additionally, if my assumptions are correct, these sorts of cheats can affect consoles as well, given their external nature. If so, turning crossplay off could be a good idea anyhow, but not a definitive means to avoid cheaters.

I have reached out to EA and DICE for a comment and will follow up with additional information when it becomes available.

Enzo and Don Torrisi in Mafia TOC

The latest entry in the Mafia franchise is here. Welcome back to the old country.

Mafia: The Old Country turns back the clock to the early 1900s and brings it back to the island of Sicily, introducing protagonist Enzo Favara and his journey from the bottom of society to becoming a made man the Torrisi crime family.

Like the other Mafia games, The Old Country is a relatively short journey, but an enjoyable one. I gave the game a score of 8/10 in my review as I found it to be an enjoyable single-player experience despite its length. But just how long is the game?

Here's how many chapters you can expect to play through in your 10-12 hour journey through Mafia: The Old Country.

How many chapters are there in Mafia: The Old Country?

Stop reading now if you're looking to avoid spoilers for Mafia: The Old Country. This is your final warning!

There are 14 total chapters to play through in Mafia: The Old Country. Each chapter consists of a playable story mission, with some freedom to play them via the method of your choosing, such as deciding to go full stealth mode or let it rip with guns blazing.

Here's the full list of each chapter in the game, not including the game's Prologue, named "Tremori":

  1. Famiglia
  2. Palio
  3. Pizzu
  4. Il Barone
  5. Vendetta D'onore
  6. La Difesa Siciliana
  7. Spirito Sportivo
  8. Disgrazia
  9. Industria
  10. La Festa
  11. Mattanza
  12. La Forza Del Destino
  13. Capiregime
  14. La Merica

From my experience, each chapter takes around 45 minutes to an hour to complete, but it varies. You may play quicker or slower than I did, but in general, the game should take around 12 hours to finish, with several more for those who look to complete everything and finish all achievements.

Once the credits roll, you can replay any chapter from the beginning, but also use the Explore function to hop into the open world map of Valle Dorata to drive around, enjoy the scenery, find collectibles, or spend your Dinari on weapons and upgrades.

A battle scene in Battlefield 6 Open Beta

Battlefield 6's open beta is the first great opportunity to test out the upcoming launch, and you can do so in a pack.

While there are dedicated servers that allow you to matchmake, you can also form a lobby with your friends. Just like the full version, the open beta also offers crossplay that will enable you to co-op with your friends and try out the available game modes.

With the beta already available on early access prior to the weekend of Aug. 9 to 10, let's find out how you can play with your friends.

How to play Battlefield 6 with friends?

The exact process of forming a lobby in Battlefield 6 depends on whether all of you are on the same platform. For simplicity's sake, let's assume that all of you're on different platforms. If that's the case, crossplay must be turned on for all of you. There are a few additional steps to complete along with that.

  • Go to your EA account.
  • Go to "Connected Accounts."
  • Make sure to link all possible platforms you have with your EA account.
  • Once you authorize, all the accounts will be linked and connected. This allows you to play with your friends on different platforms.

The next step is to invite your friends to your lobby and play together. Once the home screen, you'll find the Lobby option on the left side of your screen. Click on it, and you'll get the chance to invite your friends. If you've linked your accounts properly, you can invite friends on the same/different platforms. As long as they're online, you'll be able to send them an invite.

Similarly, you can also join their lobby and play together. Once you've set up your party, proceed to choose the mode you'll want to play. That's pretty much all you need to do to play with your friends. If you're trying before Aug. 9, you'll need early access.

From Aug. 9, there's no need for an early access code as the open beta is available for all by default.

Running through an OXR Bunker in Fortnite

There are many secrets hidden around the island in Fortnite, and OXR Bunkers are one of the best ones. They're treasure troves packed with useful items to help you in the great bug war, but finding and accessing them can be tricky.

OXR Bunkers aren't very common, and you can only open them after meeting a specific requirement. They take quite a bit of effort to unlock, but the loot you can find inside is worth the effort, so here's how to find and open OXR Bunkers in Fortnite.

How to find an OXR Bunker in Fortnite

Screenshot by Destructoid

An OXR Bunker is automatically marked on the map as soon as you fulfill the requirement for unlocking it, which is to reach OXR Rank A. You can technically find one whenever, but you won't be allowed entry until this condition is met.

All bunkers appear as large metal doors with the letter "A" displayed in front of them. They're all tucked away in mountains or discreet corners to make them a bit more secret. Once you've reached the required rank, you can check your map for the small white bunker icon to see where one is.

OXR Bunker locations in Fortnite

There are four OXR Bunkers hidden around the island. Here's where to find each one.

  • Up north of Shiny Shafts, in the mountain sitting right behind it.
  • Southwest of Foxy Floodgate, close to a snowy mountain on the left side of the road that runs right over the dam.
  • Directly south of Utopia City, just north of the vibrant flower fields.
  • South of the First Order Base, right near the edge of this POI, where the snow ends.

How to open an OXR Bunker in Fortnite

You can open an OXR Bunker by approaching the front door and interacting with it once you are OXR Rank A or better. There's no way to gain entry any sooner, so you generally won't be able to enter these special bunkers until fairly late into each round.

What's inside OXR Bunkers in Fortnite?

OXR Bunkers are rich with just about any kind of loot you might want. The exact contents of each one vary in each round, but there's always plenty of items to uncover. Here's everything we've found in them.

  • Exotic weapons
  • Regular weapons
  • Healing items
  • Shield items
  • Chests
  • OXR Chests
  • Ammo boxes

If you're seeking an Exotic weapon, visiting an OXR Bunker is a must. There's no other way to earn these powerful weapons this season, so work on progressing your OXR Rank until you reach Rank A or better.

There are lots of other tasks you need to get done around the island after finding and unlocking OXR Bunkers. Next, you might work on slaying the Queenearning Medallionsclaiming Capture Points, and collecting items from Hive Stashes.

Exotic weapons in Fortnite

If you're going to defend the island from the deadly bug invasion, you need the best weapons you can get your hands on in Fortnite. Exotic weapons are easily some of the most powerful tools you can have at your disposal if you manage to find them.

These tools are extremely rare, with only one of each type in circulation during any given round. To claim one, you have to be quite lucky and know exactly where to look. If you're hoping to add one to your inventory, here are all Exotic weapons and how to get them in Fortnite Chapter Six, season four.

All Shock N' Awesome Exotic weapons and what they do in Fortnite

There are four Exotic weapons you can find around the island in Fortnite Chapter Six, season four, plus one special shield item, too. More may be added as the season progresses, so if any additional ones emerge, they'll be added here. Here are all the Exotics featured in this season.

Image Weapon Effect

Two guns double trouble in fortnite Double Trouble These two shotguns can be double-pumped, meaning you can swap between them without delay.
A shockwave launcher in fortnite Shock n' Slow Shockwave Launcher Throws Shockwave Grenades at enemies. These projectiles create a slowdown effect against enemies and allies while mid-air.
A wrecker revolver in fortnite Marksman Wrecker Revolver An upgraded version of the Wrecker Revolver with a higher hip fire rate and headshot multiplier.
A slap berry fizz in fortnite Exotic Slap Berry Fizz An enhanced Flowberry Fizz that also grants the Slap effect.

How to get all Exotic weapons in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 4

All Exotic weapons are exclusively available in OXR Bunkers hidden around the island. To find one that has a chance of obtaining an Exotic weapon, you need to be at least OXR Rank A. There's no way to predict what loot you find inside a bunker, so how easy or difficult it is to find one of these powerful tools ultimately comes down to luck.

As soon as you reach the right rank, an OXR Bunker will be marked on the map. Travel to it as quickly as possible, as other players who reach the same rank might be directed to the same one, then scan your rank at the door to gain access. Inside, you'll find a large array of weapons and other loot you can grab, possibly including an Exotic weapon.

Now that you have solid loot, it's time to start eradicating those pesky bugs. Next, you might work on slaying the Queen, earning Medallions, claiming Capture Points, and collecting items from Hive Stashes.

BO6 Zombies Reckoning map with the Gorgofex

The new Reckoning map in Black Ops 6 Zombies has a fresh Wonder Weapon called the Gorgofex, and the weapon is directly tied to the main campaign.

Finding the new Wonder Weapon won't be easy, and it can be considered almost the main reward. Your effort won't be in vain, but the game doesn't make it easy. Once you unlock the Pack-A-Punch and complete the basic objectives, there's no clue about what to do next.

Let's take a look at all the steps you need to complete.

How do you get the Gorgofex in BO6 Zombies Reckoning?

So we begin by spawning on the map, and what you do after that will be crucial.

Head to the T1 Mutant Research Lab

Your first task is to take the correct elevator and reach the lab. You'll come across two computer terminals showing random static. The first one is located right beside the Deadshot Daiquiri, while the second one is on the west wall (right by the clones of Richtofen's child and wife). You'll find a single word appearing randomly on these screens.

The Terminal at Mutant Labs in Reckoning
Screenshot by Destructoid

Don't pay attention to the words. Pay attention to the first letters. In my case, the two words began with P and O, which combine to form Polonium. While I knew what Po stands for on the periodic table, you don't necessarily have to know chemistry.

The Periodic Table at Mutant Labs in Reckoning
Screenshot by Destructoid

Instead, you can use the Periodic Table located at the T1 Mutant lab to get your code. Your code is essentially 0, followed by the Periodic Table Code. So in my case, it was 084. 0 is by default, and 84 is the Periodic Table code for Polonium. This opens the door to T1 Bioweapons Lab (you'll find a couple of stairs in the T1 Mutant Research Lab that lead to this location.

Get the Cyst from the T1 Bioweapons Lab

The Cyst in Bioweapons Lab
Screenshot by Destructoid

The next task is to obtain the Cyst located in the metal case on the eastern part of the room. At first, you'll find that the case is locked. To unlock the Cyst, you'll need to kill three parasites or vermin next to it. On doing so, you'll find the Cyst floating above and getting added to your inventory.

Repeat this process three times, and this is mandatory. You'll soon learn why that's the case.

Absorb Aesthetic Flora from Quantum Computing Core Room

Aesthetic Flora plant in QUantum Computing Core Room
Screenshot by Destructoid

Our next stop is to reach the T1 Quantum Computing Core Room. Reach there, and you'll find glowing mushrooms all over the place. You'll find three Dark Aether Plants that are glowing in the dark, and your job is to drain their health. Remember when I said you'll need three Cysts? The reason is simple: you'll have to absorb the health from three Aesthetic Flora plants.

The task is relatively simple, but watch out for the acid attacks that can do a lot of damage. In fact, try to spare a couple of zombies before ending the round, and then try the process. This will allow you to absorb the health without having to bother much about being mauled to death.

Start Power Surge in Dark Entity Containment

Power surge initiation started in Dark Entity Containment room
Screenshot by Destructoid

Our next step is the T2 Dark Entity Containment room, and this step confused me a lot. The task at hand is to initiate a power surge. You can do so using four different computer terminals, all present at this location.

You'll begin from the northeast side, and keep following the terminals in the north, and then south. Make sure to find out the four locations first, because the entire test is timed. If the time runs out, you'll have to start a new round and retry the process.

Additionally, be very careful, as this step will spawn an Uber Klaus, which is essential.

Bring the Uber Klaus in front of the Forsaken

Forsaken in Reckoning map
Screenshot by Destructoid

If you have completed the previous step, you must have found the Forsaken (that gigantic mechanoid in the glass cage). As I said, initiating the Power Surge triggers the Uber Klaus. First, kill all the minions and undead to single out Klaus. Then, take out his shield generators (on his shoulders) to weaken him. Don't kill him at this stage.

Instead, lure him out and bring him right in front of the Forsaken. Once you do so, the Forsaken's soul will go into Uber Klaus to start a new boss fight. This part is mandatory if you want to obtain the Gorgofex.

Defeat Forsaken in Uber Klaus' body

Once the Forsaken goes inside Uber Klaus, he becomes far more dangerous. Based on what I found, the Hand Cannon scorestreak seems to be working well for many, and it was pretty effective for me. You'll have to target the Dark Aether crystals to bring down its health. Before it dies, Forsaken will summon several Klauses that will explode on contact. Get rid of them as quickly as possible before taking down Forsaken. Once done, the Gorgofex will appear from its corpse within a glowing orb.

type soul resurrection and segunda etapa tier list and guide

Updated on August 8, 2025: New tier list! Ranked all Full Res and Segunda Etapa.

If you've seen our Type Soul Shikai and Bankai tier list you'll notice a similar pattern here for Arrancar/Hollow Partial and Full Resurrection where Commons and Rares have become quite strong due to the re-release buffs and nerfs. Now with only 1 Partial Res move and the Arrancar Cero Oscuras cooldown resent it's more important than ever to choose the best Partial Res to start your build and then move onto Full and Segunda. Here's my Type Soul Resurrection and Segunda Etapa tier list and guide.

Type Soul Arrancar Partial Res Tier List

type soul partial res tier list

When it comes to the best Type Soul Partial Res for Arrancar/Hollow now it's important to note that Hollows/Arrancars have been reduced back to only 1 Partial move. This makes picking the best moves a highly important consideration when picking a Partial Res. This is essentially how I'll rank them as in which ones have the best move to base your build around since you can now reset Partial CD if you land Cero Oscuras (Partial Essence new effect). Let's dive into all Partial Res options below and analyze them individually.

Partial Res Rankings: S-Tiers usually have powerful true comboes, OP moves or exploit the new low Reiatsu nerf with Rei steals like Vampire/Phoenix. A are great Partial Res options for raw damage but are just less flexible than S. B-Tiers are also good but are slightly weaker than S and A and C-Tier are underpowered options that you should re-roll.

Related: Type Soul Clan Tier List & Schrift Tier List

S-Tier Partial Res

S-Tier Partial Res Notes & Best Move

Vampire
Legendary
• What makes Vampire one of the best Partial Res in Type Soul right now are the re-release Reiatsu changes where every race has less rei and there's no rei regen accessories
• That's a long way of saying the X move is really strong since it steals Rei as well as HP further reducing your opponent's Rei options
• C is also S-Tier since it also steals HP and applies antiheal but you have to connect an M1 to steal HP
• Z is a decent move as a combo extender into Time Cut/Fast Fang
• Overall Vampire might be the strongest Partial Res right now

Best Move: X or C

Shark
Rare
• X is easily one of the best Partial Res moves in the game because it gets you out of danger, gives you iFrames and guarantees a guardbreak hit if you touch your opponent
• Z is a bit weird since while it comboes well when close range, I wouldn't use it as a ranged projectile since the trajectory is always a bit weird and random
• C is a bit easy to counter like Wolves from Starrk so if you can bait out counters this can do good damage

Best Move: X

Acid
Common
• Z is amazing on acid since it's really easy to hit due to the AOE, deals good damage with the DOT and true combos into powerful moves like Cero Grab, Fast Fang, critical or even Rising Swallow if they're close enough
• X isn't the best so I would skip it
• C is a decent defensive alternative to Z because it's sort of like a counter but the retaliation is a fast moving damage orb that guardbreaks
• Overall for a Common Acid is a really good combo Partial that sets up powerful attacks with its Z

Best Move: Z

Light
Mythic
• Unlike Snake, Light is still an amazing Mythic in the re-release
• Z is a great spam-able poke or combo extender that's great for a Kido build
• X is one of the best Partial Res mobility moves to close distance (Hold space for a faster version)
• C is amazing damage with guardbreak that's good for any build but I like it on Hakuda since the playstyle encourages getting in close and pressuring opponents

Best Move: All are good and it depends on if you're going Kido/Kendo/Hakuda

Bone
Common
• A lot of people like Bone due to the Z move which autotracks if you hit but while it's powerful note that counters destroy it
• X is good with Speed for comboing from X into a lot of good fast melee moves
• C is amazing because it's easy to hit due to the double-hit AOE, interrupts some attacks and true combos into Sonata Flow, Rising Swallow if you're close or just M1 combos

Best Move: C

Phoenix
Rare
• Similar to Vampire, Phoenix is much better now due to the Rei nerfs since it steals Reiatsu with its Seared effect applied from each move
• Z has a lot of stun and posture damage so it's a good combo into faster moves like Fast Fang or jump crit
• X is kind of like Panthera's Z where it's a good standalone move but it doesn't really synergize well with anything to combo with
• C is powerful damage if you track their flashstep to hit them after it since it guardbreaks (be careful since you can get punished if you miss)

Best Move: Z

A-Tier Partial Res

A-Tier Partial Res Notes & Best Move

Slash
Common
• Overall a high damage Partial if you can reliably proc the Bleed
• Z isn't the best nor worst move here since the Meta edges towards up-close melee fights but it's pretty good if you need a projectile, zone or interupt tool
• I would avoid X since Slash isn't about hyperarmor charges even though it's a decent move if you need a combo opener/distance closer
• We're here for the C move which is a fast high damage combo extender that's good after anything like a parry, dodge, stun move, etc.

Best Move: C

Horse
Legendary
• Best used with Ground Hakuda to stay close to the enemy and keep applying pressure
• X is objectively the best damage, AOE, high posture stun and true comboes into G. Hakuda moves like Confliction/Earth Shatter and a ton of other moves
• C deals a lot of damage and is hard to parry because it's a multi-hit move so if you aim it right to predict dodges you can deal a lot of damage
• Avoid Z due to the long windup and having to take a sec to aim
• Might be S-Tier due to the Ground Hakuda true comboes but I have to play it a bit more

Best Move: X in most cases, especially with Ground Hakuda but C can also be great

Storm
Common
• Storm is a perfect A-Tier that's a good aggression Partial to take along with Speed moves to combo and pressure opponents and pretty much any move here is good but nothing broken
• Z is a faster autotrack teleport with less range and C is the opposite with longer range but you have to aim it and both combo well into further fast melee attacks
• X is for AOE guardbreaking and combos decently into strong close-range moves like Rising Swallow or a quick feint into a critical

Best Move: All are decent depending on what you need

Starrk
Legendary
• Starrk still has a lot of mobility and pressure options with Z's flashstep cero that chains really well into Cero Oscuras for a CD reset, raw damage/posture (Use the Starrk clan for more Cero scaling)
• X is bad since it's not hard to dodge and easy to punish (Only really good with Kido skills that can guarantee a hit)
• C is a powerful move but it's really easy to counter and most good Shikai/Schrift have counters so you'd have to bait those out first
• Overall Starrk is good for a build around Z so while powerful for A-Tier it's not the most flexibile for S-Tier

Best Move: Z

Panthera
Rare
• X is the best move for dodging and comboing into other fast melee moves like Rising Swallow or Feint into any guardbreak move
• Only do C if your build lacks a projectile move since it's pretty fast, deals decent damage and has a wide hitbox
• Z is a weird standalone move that doesn't really combo well from anything or into anything so I would avoid it

Best Move: X

B-Tier Partial Res

B-Tier Partial Res Notes & Best Move

Arrogante
Legendary
• Z is a decent counter that ragdolls but it's not a true combo into anything so you can try to use as a combo extender with some moves
• X is a great hyperarmor attack that randomly disables flashstep (leg effect) or applies a lesser damage debuff (hand effect) but it's only good if you get the flashstep effect
• C is just good damage but the mini-stun effect is so short it doesn't really combo into anything
• Overall no hard true combo and the good move is sometimes useful with flashstep debuff and sometimes just okay with the damage debuff

Best Move: X due to the flashstep disable

Volcanica
Legendary
• Z is an amazing move that both gives you mobility, has slight hyper armor and guardbreaks dealing good damage with the burn effect (Slam happens regardless of the dash hit)
• X is also a guardbreak but not as versatile
• While C doesn't stun for as long as before you can still combo off of it but I don't like the long windup and would prefer Z or X
• While Z is a good move it's not anything comparable to A-Tiers in power and the other moves are situational

Best Move: Z in most cases and sometimes X

Devil
Rare
• Best combined with Air Hakuda or Speed depending on which move you're going for
• Z has good mobility and posture damage and is best with Speed for pressure like Flash Cut into Z or with Flash Fakeout
• XM2 is for Air Hakuda builds to keep enemies in the air and guardbreak/stun combo them
• Ground C is good with Speed since it has high posture damage and is fast comboing well into Flash Cut/Flash Fakeout/Fast Fang
• Overall there's no true combo here and you have to work really hard to be competitive but it has potential for A

Best Move: X with Air Hakuda or Z/C with Speed

C-Tier Partial Res

C-Tier Partial Res Notes & Best Move

Snake
Mythic
• Snake got a lot of nerfs which made it not as dominant as before and dropped it from A-Tier for me to C-Tier (Check the nerfs in Update-Logs on Discord)
• Still the Z move can be used as a decent combo extender into Mortal Ties/Time Cut
• X has hyperarmor on frame 1 so you can use it defensively and XM2 is a great combo starter into Rising Swallow or any stun combo move
• C is terrible due to its easy-to-parry/dodge attack with no guardbreak
• Snake can still be decent with Hakuda or Kendo builds but it's definitely not what it used to be
Note that the Full Res and Segunda drastically change this to S-Tier (See below)

Best Move: X and sometimes Z

Spirit
Rare
• Overall I wouldn't bother with Spirit since it's currently the weakest Partial Res in the game
• Z is the best move since it can't get punished melee due to the AOE hit
• X and C aren't good

Type Soul Full Res and Segunda Etapa Tier List

As for the best Hollow and Arrancar Full Resurrection and Segunda Etapa in Type Soul I'll be combining them since the Full Res boosts base moves and Segunda gives you new ones. You'll see some drastic changes from the Partial Res tier list with Snake moving from C to S and in general a lot of movement for better or worse. Some reach full potential with just the Full Res while some are only good with Segunda and so on. Below I'll analyze each Full Res and Segunda in Type Soul individually.

S-Tier Full Res and Segunda Etapa

S-Tier Notes

Snake
• Snake is arguably the most powerful Full Res/Segunda in Type Soul due to its true combos but you have to think of it like Creation for Shikai where you need to practice the combos
• The main idea is going into Overdrive where you have no flashstep cooldown, enhanced moves, enhanced criticals where Crit (Hold W) is a lunge and Crit (Hold S) is a counter where both stun allowing you to true combo into other moves
• Overall most moves in Overdrive stun for enough time to true combo into other moves
• Then for Segunda you have Basilisk's Seal which is your bread and butter combo start with a ton of ragdoll into C, Z, Crit W, etc. (In Overdrive it steals their Bankai/Vollstandig/Segunda bar and turns into your Segunda bar)
• Overall, you need to practice the timings and variations of all moves to learn the best combos for yourself and Snake will dominate the ladder for you

Light
• Where Snake is better for 1v1s, Light is the king of bossraiding and teamfights due to its massive AOE attacks and area damage
• The full Res gives you AOE M1s and crits and boosts your moves, especially X that becomes a really fast annoying grab that deals a lot of damage and ragdolls enemies and C which is a HUGE OP AOE damage nuke (Resets on Segunda)
• Segunda lowers your range on M1s and Crits but makes them do more damage and posture and the Crit guardbreaks for an amazing combo starter/extender into X
• T is mostly for zoning and stalling for CDs but G can be broken since you disable flashsteps in an AOE and then nuke the area the zone expires
• Go for Light to dominate teamfights, easy S-Tier

Pantera
• Panthera's Full Res is just a better 1v1 version of the base moveset where the Z deals more damage, more posture and guardbreaks which is one of the best moves
• X deals tons of damage and ragdolls for a true combo into fast moves like Floating Strikes or Rising Swallow or C which deals a bunch of damage (Also a good combo starter)
• That said, the Segunda takes 1v1s to a whole other level with its new Crit mainly because it ragdolls for a longtime allowing tons of true combos with your kit and Speed/Kendo/Hakuda skills
• The Z stuns for a long time, X teleports you and true combos into the same stuff as above including the new T which does massive damage
• Finally your G is basically the Vergil/Yamato Judgement Cut from DMC that deals some of the best damage I've seen Segunda moves do in addition to the T
• Overall while Snake has more combo potential, Pantera definitely does more burst damage

Arrogante
• Starting off strong Arrogante gives you an incredible AOE crit with guardbreak for starting combos in Full Res
• Z is similar and also guardbreaks and explodes a sec later to extend combos but I like starting with X since its a hyper armor dash that drastically slows enemies
• Segunda just boosts everything with better moves, more M1 damage, better crits and T is massive AOE damage that stuns and true combos into other moves like the G slashes
• The Full Res and Segunda really make Arrogante much stronger in terms of both damage, true combo potential and debuffs with X

Acid
• I like how the Common Full Res here with Acid is better than some Legendary Segundas
• This is because the boosted divebomb move with Z deals a lot of AOE damage and stuns with back-up AOE damage from X and the C becomes an amazing i-Frame damage move that you can use to absorb other moves and deal more damage
• Segunda cranks everything up to 11 with even more damage and AOE damage on base moves that now auto-track
• Also, the T is great after you apply blight stacks from other abilities because it explodes the enemy and G is just a great grab damage move that has some utility to go invisible if you hold it
• Overall this Common puts B-Tier Legendaries to shame

Slash
• Slash is another really powerful Common because the Full Res Z is really fast and true combos into Floating Strike, Rising Swallow, Fast Fang and other fast moves.
• X becomes unblockable and C's damage and stun gets boosted for more true combo potential with C into Z/X or other moves
• For Segunda you get a massive AOE Crit damage move
• That said T is where it's at for a powerful one-time combo forward that then comboes into TM1, TM2 and then X that teleports to the opponent and deals massive damage if you can land all moves (Note that while T is unblockable it can be parried)
• Also the G comboes well with the Crit and Z now sends you flying to perform the slashes which in my opinion is a bit worse for comboing
• All in all this isn't the strongest S-Tier but it's S nonetheless due to the damage and true combos

A-Tier Full Res and Segunda Etapa

A-Tier Notes

Volcanica
• Volcanica becomes an AOE beast with Full Res and Segunda with guardbreak and hyperarmor moves
• For Full Res Z with hyperarmor goes further, faster and leaves a DOT pool while X and C are amazing burn AOEs for teamfights
• For Segunda the T moves is great single target damage but the G is where it's at because it summons a volcano domain where your base moves get stronger
• With G active holding G plus Z, X or C does new moves like the Z traps people inside unless they use mobility moves to escape and then G and C rain down heavy AOE damage upon them
• Overall this is a high damage AOE moveset that doesn't have a lot of hyper aggressive combos for 1v1s but is all-around favored for small teamfights instead
(Since they can escape your G+Z prison with Flash Fakeout, Blooming Cut and similar moves - Might deserve S but it's A for now)

Vampire
• Vampire is really good in Full Res giving you a fast attack spear and a special Cero crit that stuns and has a wide AOE
• The Z and X moves get boosted with Z dealing great posture damage so a good combo after Crit and X heals you a lot
• With Segunda the crit is an AOE stun scream that's a great starter and the new T is a great combo start tool
• The G is just a massive damage nuke that deals continuous damage so it's a great tool to move stack other moves on top of it like T or the base ones
• Overall a decent Full Res that's focused on the crit and a nice Segunda, but not as OP and oppressive as the S-Tiers

Starrk
• The Full Res works by alternating between gun moves and dual sword moves that you can switch from swords to guns with the X cero if you deal enough damage with it
• I personally don't like the unreliable stance switching and the sword moves are not as good as the gun ones which is why Starrk is B for Full Res and A overall with Segunda
• The Full Res can be good in gun mode because your main tool Z with guns now guardbreaks
• The gun X is also a powerful one-time nuke that you can set up with Wolves to deal amazing damage
• The Segunda makes this much more reliable with you always being in gun mode and your crit and T dealing amazing damage (T stunlocks so if you hit someone they're taking the whole thing)
• Great stun-locking ranged option for zoning and ranged combos

Storm
• The Full Res moves for Storm don't change but they're better when you stack up orbs from C where for example your Z will hit an amount of times equal to the orbs you've stacked up
• C's orbs also boost your speed and flashsteps the more you have and when you reach 6 you can do a high damage AOE move which is okay as a finisher
• That said, the reason Storm is good and in A-Tier is that the Segunda gives you the T dash move that deals massive damage and ragdolls for 4 seconds allowing you to pull of any true combo you want
• The Segunda G is just overall a decent AOE damage move

B-Tier Full Res and Segunda Etapa

B-Tier Notes

Shark
• For Full Res here the broken Z move gets more OP where it's just free damage whenever you pop it and while C is underwhelimg the R Critical guardbreaks which is good for comboing
• For Segunda the T does a lot of damage and stuns but you can get easily punished in teamfights which I don't like since you're just standing there
• That said G is much better with a tsunami that hits everyone that is not in front of you so you want to turn to your side and summon it to cover a better area so it goes horizontal
• Overall the Full Res and Segunda make the Z and Crit better while giving you the G move and that's it, a bit underwhelming compared to the others but still pretty good and definitely competitive

Devil
• Devil is a bit mid for Full Res because the Z just goes further, X is more AOE, and C guardbreaks which is arguably one of the better moves
• For Segunda you're looking at more AOE damage which is pretty good and raises Devil from C-Tier to B-Tier but I still expected more here
• Overall if you're going to play Devil the Segunda is what you want because the Full Res is underwhelming

Phoenix
• The Full Res could have been so good with the Z turret spawning if not for the fact of a loud sound effect that tells you exactly when you need to parry
• But that's it for Full Res... I had so much hope for Phoenix due to its Rei debuffs
• The Segunda expands the turret mechanic with more turrets but they're still easy to parry due to the sound
• The T move is a decent damage grab and G is actually really good for AOE damage and pressure which saves the Res from C-Tier
• You also get a one-time use lifesteal move with C so this is definitely not a C-Tier Res but I did expect a lot more playing around the Rei siphon mechanic from the base

Bone
• The Full Res for bone honestly makes it a bit worse because while the Z is better the C no longer stuns around you but goes from outward to inward which makes it harder to combo from
• The segunda is hit or miss with the T charge being just a standalone move that doesn't combo and the G being a good AOE knockup that you can combo from with feints into the new critical
• The new critical is pretty decent due to its speed and it does ragdoll so you can combo off of it too so Bone is perfect for B-Tier being saved from C by the Segunda

C-Tier Full Res and Segunda Etapa

C-Tier Notes

Spirit
• Spirit's Full Res Z is actually pretty good because it true combos into Rising Swallow and Floating Strikes as you're falling
• That said X and C don't improve much dealing a bit more damage and being just a bit more useful
• The Segunda T is a pretty massive damage burst
• The G is an AOE stun that's easily dodged and your base moves stay the same so overall you still have to work hard to land T so I'm not the biggest fan of Spirit having used it

Horse
• Horse is underwhelming and slightly underpowered compared to the others
• For Full Res your basically get a slow wind-up crit that's horrible in 1v1s
• You also get some utility moves to drag foes around and you can combo Z into C well but it just does horrible damage for Meta standards so I would skip Horse
• The Seguna is also underwhelming overall because the base Z, X and C kit drags it down with low damage

That's it for my Type Soul Resurrection and Segunda Etapa tier list and guide for Arrancar and Hollow. If you want to reroll you Res check out our Type Soul codes for rerolls.
