There's a Borderlands 4 build. It's a bit broken, and can reportedly down bosses in a click of your fingers by doing a craptonne of damage. I am telling you this information now. The game's director is aware of the quirk at the heart of this slapping-up setup, and I've a sneaking suspicion it might be tweaked soon.

I maintain that the bounties of Hollow Knight: Silksong's drum-tight action and hyper-intricate world exploration ultimately outweigh its repeated acts of smirking sadism. It's a fine dining restaurant where the waiters insist on bashing your kneecaps out with claw hammers before serving the most delightful, perfectly layered mille-feuille you've had in your life. It'sh delishush, you mumble through a full mouth and agonised tears.

Still, sometimes I'll fancy a taste of the good stuff without necessarily having my skeleton destroyed. To that end, I've been taking regular breaks from Silksong's usual heroics to pursue the simpler life of a package courier for Pharloom's surviving insects.

The Crew Unlimited, a fan project making Ubisoft racer The Crew playable again following its unceremonious shutdown last year, released yesterday, September 15th. There's been some early issues to rectify, with the developers having put out two hotfixes already and emphasised that they're "not responsible" for any problems caused by people having grabbed "broken/corrupted game files" from "shady sources".

As we reported earlier this month, The Crew Unlimited's devs started working on it not long after Ubisoft pulled the racer's official servers offline in March 2024, rendering it unplayable. Cue a group of fans deciding to set up a server emulator that'd allow them to get it up and running again for players who still had the game files installed.

Bandai cautions against generative AI images using red Bandai logo or blue Bandai Spirits logo

Bandai has published a new press release where it cautions people against generative AI images using its logos. It received reports of social media posts containing AI-generated figure images that are made to look like official posts while using the red Bandai logo or the blue Bandai Spirits logo.

The company clarifies that its legitimate merchandise would only appear on its official website and social media accounts. It will also not entertain any questions about products that are not made by the company group.

Bandai requests that people refrain from making posts using AI images that mimic its official announcements. In addition, the company warns that some of the AI-generated images may even infringe on copyrights.

As a reminder, Bandai uses its original red logo for card games, Gashapon capsule toys, apparel, confectionery, and all-ages toys like the Tamagotchis. Meanwhile, the blue Bandai logo applies to Bandai Spirits' products like model kits (including Gunplas from the Gundam franchise), S.H.Figuarts action figures, Ichiban Kuji lotteries, and Banpresto crane game prizes.

The blue Bandai Spirits logo can also appear on mock Gunpla covers that are legally producible via diorama photographs from the video game Gundam Breaker 4, which is available worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

persona 5 cola

Cradri will release a craft cola syrup based on Mementos, the incarnation of the collective unconscious, from Persona 5. Pre-orders in Japan will end on October 14, 2025, and orders will ship out in mid-December 2025.

The Mementos craft cola syrup will come in a small bottle with Joker on the clear label. It has a slight groove on the bottom, so you can stack it with other bottles as decoration. While normal craft cola syrups contain about ten ingredients, the Persona 5 Mementos craft cola uses fifteen. To represent the protagonist and his trickster nature, the key ingredient in the syrup is star anise. Other spices include cardamom, rosemary, ginger, allspice, and Sichuan pepper. As a syrup, you have to combine it with carbonated water. However, Cradri also suggests pouring the syrup over ice cream and eating it that way.

You can pair your cola with a Persona 5 counter mat and glass. The counter mat uses key art of Joker, and its 3D design means it can trap liquid you spill without it flowing over onto the counter. The glass stands at 70 mm (around the size of the craft cola syrup bottle) and also has Joker on it. For prices, the cup costs 1650 JPY ($11.20) and the counter mat costs 7800 JPY ($52.95). As a warning, the glass is not dishwasher-safe.

Persona 5 Royal is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.

Review: Henry Halfhead Has Half a Head, but a Whole Personality

Henry Halfhead is such a personable game. Playing around in a sandbox world, watching a character who is only made up of half of a head use a special ability to hop into inanimate objects to control them with a running commentary can be great. It's charming! I just wish that it sometimes felt a little better to play. Because while it does all work, sometimes I'd happen across a tedious objective or situation that got me feeling a bit motion-sick due to the shifts in perspective.

All of Henry Halfhead is presented as an overview of Henry's life, complete with reactive narrator changing the script based on our actions. Things begin with the character as a baby, starting to explore boundaries of a room and play around with an ability to jump into any object to move it or cause certain interactions. As our avatar finishes certain objects and they "grow," causing areas around the initial space to expand and grant access to new locations and parts of Henry's life. However, past places are still accessible, so we could go back to bring new items to use in old spots or perhaps complete jigsaw puzzles and more pieces are unlocked.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MxkEmWdS4I

Lululu Entertainment's execution is honestly really flawless and seamless. Especially when it comes to the fantastic narration. The prompts that come up as we become different objects are both funny and sometimes insightful, revealing things about the character's preferences and life. It's the sort of running commentary that always only adds to the experience, rather than detracts from it, and I appreciate that any other kinds of audio can sometimes be a bit more subdued so it stands out. Like if you add batteries to a radio or plug in a device to hear songs, we will get to hear some of the (also great) soundtrack. But at the same time, the narrator will sometimes comment on the music itself, which I appreciated.

There's also such a wide range of items to become. Many of them with special interactions that come up at the push of a button. For example, becoming a toy duck or cat will cause quacking or meowing sound effects to play when you press a button. Or when I hopped into a knife during a birthday scene, I could interact with a cake to cut it. See an outlet hanging in midair near an electronic device? Plug it in to cause a light to turn on or music to play. We're essentially set loose in a toy box where we can become every toy.

The thing about Henry Halfhead is, while I like a whole lot about it, it also frustrates me in the same way Exhausted Man could. When you can appreciate it as a freeform toy box, it is a lot of fun! There are some great interactions here. The narration is also first-rate. However, some of the challenges feel, well, exhausting. An early example involves setting a table for his birthday and preparing for the celebration. But that means going back and forth to move items from one shelf, leaping from item to item to get to it, then performing fiddly jumps between a box, chair, and table to get them in the right spot. Challenges like that can feel more tedious than entertaining sometimes, depending on the objective.

Worse is the camera execution and design of some challenges in Henry Halfhead could result in some motion sickness. A recurring situation involves stacking items in an area to reach X height, with the X variable increasing with each instance. The problem is that these situations can also include bouncy elements like pillows and chairs, and with the nature of a physics-based game like this, it's possible to get discombobulated, have the camera go in odd ways, or see things careen beyond your control when trying to efficiently get through a task. It's easy enough to deal with the first time, but from the second instance onward it definitely made me a bit nauseous.

Henry Halfhead is at its best when it allows us the freedom to do whatever we like, play around with object interactions, and enjoy the narrator's responses to our decisions. I loved hearing about Henry and the constant color commentary. It's so much fun to experiment! The only thing is that since this can have some physics game properties, some tasks might feel a bit more tedious than others or could involve some unexpected camera effects and perspectives that might involve some temporary discomfort. Still, it is generally delightful and fun to play with for two or three hours.

Henry Halfhead is available on the Switch, PS5, and PC.

pokopia screenshot

Look. I am not here to judge anyone about their requests for Pokémon Pokopia, especially when we know so very little about the game, other than it being some kind of Animal Crossing-like game in a backwards Pokémon Mystery Dungeon-type universe. However, I think the internet has been pretty vocal about one particular thing they want in-game.

And despite what you might think it is, such as some type of new interesting mechanic or crossover or anything out of the box, the one feature I have seen everyone gushing about, pretty much, is a feature that only the Pokémon community would care about.

And before giving it away, I'll let content creator GlaxonXIII say what everyone is thinking before we dive into it.

https://twitter.com/GlaxonXIII/status/1966685653598355578

That's right. I'm of course talking about Shiny Pokémon. In fact, it's hard not to look at social media or anywhere else people speak about the game currently, you'll find mock-ups, memes, and content around the idea of adding Shiny Pokémon to a game where we have zero idea how the mechanics work just yet.

And there is a good reason for that.

Imagine, for example, if you only unlock a single Pokémon through a method akin to the Viva Piñata games. Like, after having x amount of grass patches, that is the requirement for Squirtle to spawn. But you only get one Squirtle. Would trainers really spend hours at the start of a game constantly soft resetting until a Shiny Squirtle appears in your little town?

... of course they would. What am I saying?

https://twitter.com/DetectiveMocha/status/1967634527058346407

Even so, the sheer amount of trainers wanting to see Shiny Pokémon in-game shouldn't come as any surprise. It feels like Shiny Pokémon have become a staple request in every Pokémon game under the sun. We have them in near enough every mobile game now, from Pokémon Sleep to Pokémon Go, and even recent games have started to add Shiny Pokémon into them for events—so I doubt Pokémon Pokopia wouldn't follow suit.

But if they were to add Shiny Pokémon, I would hope that they use these different colored Pokémon to tie in with the story, akin to how Pokémon Mystery Dungeon used to use Shiny Pokémon for unique and essential characters (Shiny Celebi and Purple Kecleon, anyone?)

I'm all for Shiny Pokémon making an appearance here, but only if they serve a use to the game in a way that's unique. But perhaps I am the minority here in thinking that way.

Erling Haaland's gold card in FC 26

Team of the Week will be the first promo in FC 26 when the game goes live on Sept. 19, and TOTW 1 can have some fantastic cards.

Unlike some other promos in Ultimate Team, TOTW is based on current footballers. EA Sports will feature the best performers from world football each week and release special cards in Ultimate Team. These cards aren't only better versions of the footballers, but they can also have unique playstyles and roles.

While we are yet to get news about the official TOTW cards, here's my list of predictions.

Complete list of FC 26 TOTW 1 predictions and leaks

As of writing on Sept. 16, no leaks have been revealed about cards that will be part of TOTW 1. Here's my personal list of predictions.

  • Erling Haaland: A brace in the Manchester derby.
  • Harry Kane: A brace against HSV in the last Bundesliga gameweek.
  • Martin Zubimendi: Scored a brace against Nottingham Forest, including a stunner.
  • Grimaldo: Scored two beautiful free kicks to hand Bayer Leverkusen the first win of the new season.
  • Maya Le Tissier: Scored the opening against London City and was solid at the back for Manchester United (women).
  • Micky Van de Ven: Scored a goal and kept a clean sheet for Spurs against West Ham in the London derby.
  • Thomas Müller: He was excellent at the MLS in the last game.
  • Xerdan Shaqiri: Scored two vital goals for Basel to hand them an away win.
  • De Ketelaere: Was Atalanta's man of the match against Lecce with a brace.

Once again, these are my predictions based on how these footballers performed for their respective clubs.

How to get TOTW 1 cards in FC 26?

Over the last few years, the Ultimate Edition has guaranteed a TOTW 1 card. This time around, fans do not have that privilege. There are two ways to obtain the first Team of the Week cards.

  • Packs: You'll need to open packs and hope to get lucky to pull a TOTW 1 card. Usually, the safest choice is to open packs that guarantee Rare Gold players. However, you can also get them from Bronze and Silver packs if any Bronze or Silver player makes it to the TOTW. The odds of getting those cards will be extremely low. Look out for TOTW 1 guaranteed packs if they appear in the store or as objective rewards.
  • Market: If you have coins, you can buy TOTW 1 cards directly from the market. The prices of those cards will depend on individual demand and supply.

A bunch of characters battling bugs in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter Six, Season Four has a new map, and you can find different NPCs across the various regions. Like in previous seasons, some of these NPCs will offer him valuable services, while the rest of them can be hired to fight by your side.

To unlock these characters' offerings, you have to manually visit their locations on the map and interact with them first. Tracking them down can be fairly tricky, so here are all NPC locations in Fortnite Chapter Six, Season Four.

All NPCs and where to find them in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 4

BitLife characters traveling in a luxury car

BitLife has many unique and tricky tasks you need to get done if you want to complete the special weekly events that pop up. One of the tougher missions you'll come across asks you to buy a Lamborghini.

Finding what you need to complete most quests is decently difficult in BitLife, but this is by far one of the hardest ones since luck plays a huge role in how easy or tough this feat is. If you've come across this task and you're struggling to get it done, here's how to buy a Lamborghini in BitLife.

Purchase a Lamborghini in BitLife

Screenshot by Destructoid

You can get a Lamborghini from any car dealership in BitLife, but the tricky part of this quest is that the stock in each one is entirely random. This means you may have to visit the stores several times before you get one to appear, making this a very luck-based process.

There are several key steps you need to navigate to finish this task. Here's a full breakdown of everything you need to get done to purchase a Lamborghini.

  • Make a decent amount of money.
  • Age up until you can buy a car.
  • Select the Activities option.
  • Navigate to the Shopping section.
  • Select any of the options under the Car Dealership tab.
  • Look through all available options for a Lamborghini.

If you don't see a Lamborghini listed, you can age up, close and reopen the app, or select the "Refresh inventory" option at the bottom of each Car Dealership page to generate new options. You have to sit through an ad to refresh the stock using the official "Refresh inventory" option.

Lamborghinis are fairly expensive, so make sure you have enough cash to buy one before you go hunting. If you don't, you might come across one, but end up losing it over time as you try to make enough to afford it.

This car generally costs somewhere around $220,000, so you'll likely want to get a high-paying job before you try to buy it. The available vehicles also become better over time as you accumulate wealth, so if you're not seeing any Lamborghinis, focus on getting richer to increase the chances of finding one.

Purchasing this vehicle is the end goal in the Like a Virgin challenge, so it's a crucial one to tackle if you want to check this one off. With this quest now complete, you can move on to tackling other tricky feats like joining Science Club, becoming a Plastic Surgeon, and running from the cops.

Looking up at a confetti cake and number 5 birthday balloons in phasmophobia

Phasmophobia's first double XP and money event has arrived, and if you've been struggling to level up, it's the perfect opportunity to quickly unlock new gear and ascend to higher ranks. Since this is the first time it's happened, though, you may need some help getting these rewards.

Double the rewards for completing contracts isn't a prize you want to miss out on, especially since most of the best gear is locked behind higher levels. It's an opportunity you don't want to miss, so if you're confused about how to activate this special modifier, here's how to get double XP and money in Phasmophobia's anniversary event.

How to earn double XP and cash in Phasmophobia

anniversary event bonus marked in phasmophobia
Screenshot by Destructoid

Double XP and cash are granted automatically at the end of every contract you complete for the duration of the fifth anniversary celebration event. On the Debriefing page that pops up after leaving every contract, you'll find the "Anniversary Event" section at the very bottom.

This section is what grants you double XP and cash at the end of every match. It has an x2 multiplier on it, so whatever you make for guessing the right ghost, capturing unique evidence, recording audio and video evidence, and otherwise completing key contract tasks is doubled.

All you need to do to get this bonus is complete any contract while the anniversary event is live. There's no limit to it either, so you can obtain double XP and cash as often as you like before the event ends.

As long as you make more than zero dollars and XP, your prizes will be doubled. The only time you won't make this is when you create a custom match with certain modifiers, like friendly ghost, turned on, so make sure your base multiplier is greater than zero. If it's not, you won't get this useful bonus.

Double XP and cash greyed out in Phasmophobia

The double XP and cash bonus is a bit buggy in Phasmophobia and sometimes appears greyed out at the end of a round. You don't need to worry about this, though, as the rewards are still granted even if this option appears visually glitched.

I had this happen several times, but upon doing the math, I realized it was still doubling my prizes even if it didn't look like it. It's purely a visual issue that happens sometimes and doesn't actually affect your total earnings.

If you're looking for some extra tasks to get done, while you can earn double XP and cash for doing so, there are plenty of special quests to choose from. You might work on the featured weekly challenge, unlocking all hidden achievements, finding Slenderman, and using the Sound Recorder.

Harley quinn next to a shadow briefing in fortnite

As you work your way around the island in Fortnite, you'll come across many special quests you can tackle to earn XP. One of the tougher ones you'll come across this season asks you to complete a Hunter SHADOW Briefing.

Finding and completing any type of briefing is tough, as they're not super common around the island, which makes tracking down a specific one a fairly daunting task. If this mission has you stumped, here's how to complete a Hunter SHADOW Briefing in Fortnite.

Where to find a Hunter SHADOW Briefing in Fortnite

hunter shadow briefing locations marked on island map in fortnite
Screenshot by Destructoid

There are no guaranteed spots for Hunter SHADOW Briefings to appear in each round. Instead, some locations are randomly chosen to have one each round, while others aren't. There are specific SHADOW Briefing spawn locations you can check, but none of them are ever guaranteed to have them, making finding what you're looking for decently tough.

Although there are no guaranteed spots for this item to appear, you can check out all SHADOW Briefing locations to make narrowing down the process easier. We've also highlighted three spots where we've come across this specific type of task above, so these are some good spots to start with.

What is a Hunter SHADOW Briefing in Fortnite?

Hunter SHADOW Briefings grant you a weapon with some tracking ammo that lasts for five minutes. During this time, your goal is to deal 300 damage against enemy players to track them. You must target players, not general opponents like bugs or the Queen, to get this mission done.

Complete Hunter SHADOW Briefing in Fortnite

To finish a Hunter SHADOW Briefing, you need to deal 300 damage against enemy players within five minutes. There are three crucial steps you must work through to get this process done, which are:

  • Find a Hunter SHADOW Briefing location around the island.
  • Interact with the machine to spend 250 gold bars and start the quest.
  • Deal 300 damage against enemy players within five minutes.

Getting this quest done might take you a few rounds or tries, depending on how lucky you are. You need to find both a Hunter SHADOW Briefing and an enemy player, which isn't always easy to do, so just keep at this one until you manage to get what you need. If possible, try to make sure you know of a nearby enemy before starting this mission to increase your odds of success.

With this quest out of the way, you can move on to tackling other tricky tasks around the island. Next, you might work on talking to Championship Surf Witch about FNCS, completing all Egg-cellent Observations story quests, using an Ascender and a Zipline in the same match, and damaging opponents while in a Hammerhead Choppa to help summon the Pink Ranger.

brainrot tower defense tier list and guide

The best Brainrot Tower Defense unit depends on four roles which are DPS, Economy, Support and Starter. I will give you options below for all four categories. Keep in mind that some units aren't from the banners so I'll elaborate on special ones. Here's my Brainrot Tower Defense tier list and guide.

Brainrot Tower Defense Unit Tier List

brainrot tower defense unit tier list

In this Brainrot Tower Defense tier list I will give you the best options for AOE DPS and boss killers as well as good supports, economy and starter units. I will also provide alternatives if you don't have the best ones where for example Ballerina and Dragon are really good for beginners even though they're not the best later on. I won't be rating Epics and Rares since you won't be using them later. Overall, the best team is either secret or Saturno/KurKur for DPS, Combination for support and gold Tralalero for farm. Here are the tier elaborations and then I'll dive into ranking reasons for each unit individually below:

  • S-Tier: Best units in the game for their roles.
  • A-Tier: Excellent alternative options.
  • B-Tier: Decent units that either lack a bit of DPS, range or fall off with upgrades.
  • C-Tier: Underpowered units.
  • D-Tier: Beginner units.

S-Tier Brainrots

Brainrot Why S-Tier

Graipus Medussi
Banner Secret
• The best Full AOE unit in the game
Amazing damage for both crowds and bosses
• Will carry you in all modes on all difficulties and its crits go hard if you can get a Rainbow version
• Hard to get, requires grinding

Elefanti Strawberry
Combination Unit
Or Drop
• The best Circle damage unit in the game
• Great SPA and damage with upgrades
• Huge range
• It's a 0.5% drop but I got it from grinding Combinations

Saturno Saturnita
Banner Mythic
• The best Mythic in the game DPS wise
• The best Single target damage unit for boss killing, especially with Rainbow
• Despite it being a Single target unit its attacks splash to enemies behind the main target
• Deals amazing DPS and competes with Secrets on max upgrade
• Must-have for grinding and it's not as hard to get as Secrets or combination units

Major Combination

Combination Unit
• The best support unit in the game due to the slow
• The slow is so powerful because it will make your other DPS units like Saturno, Secrets, KurKur or any DPS drastically more powerful
• This is because they will stay in their AOE ranges for longer and therefore take more damage
• Great for crowds due to the Circle AOE but also great for slowing bosses

Los Tralalero Dicen Tralala
Combination Unit
• The only cash farm unit in the game
• Great starter
• Allows you to place down more expensive units earlier and upgrade them

A-Tier Brainrots

Brainrot Why A-Tier

KarKerKar KurKur
Banner Mythic
• An excellent alternative to the S-Tier DPS
• Deals excellent Circle DPS on max upgrade

Los Metteo
Combination Unit
• The second best single-target damage unit in the game after Saturno
• Deals more damage and has drastically better range than Din Din
• Your go-to bosskiller if you don't have S-Tiers
• Surprisingly easy to get if you just spin on Metteo banners

Pot Hotspot
BattlePass Mythic
• It's a free battlepass unit and you get it with Rainbow and Giant if you have Premium for massive crits
• The base version is still an amazing Circle DPS unit that can compete with Secrets decently

B-Tier Brainrots

Brainrot Why B-Tier

Udin Din Din Dun
Banner Mythic
• The budget Mythic for boss-killing
• Decent single-target DPS if you don't have A and S alternatives for Single
• Low range

Dragon Cannelloni
Banner Mythic
• One of the best units in the game on placement
• Great starter
• Falls off on later upgrades but is still an impressive Circle AOE unit for beginners

Ballerina Cappucina
Banner Mythic
• Another great beginner Full AOE unit
• Will carry you for early on grinding if you don't have any other mythics
• The cooldown kind of kills it for late-game

Ecco Cavallo Virtuoso
Banner Mythic
• A respectable Line AOE option

Strawberrelli Flamingelli
Banner Mythic
• Very similar to Ecco and is still an overall good Line unit if you don't have higher Tiers

C & D Tier Brainrots

Currently the only C-Tier unit for me is Garama and Madundug which aren't that impressive DPS wise. They explode dealing around 50k damage at max upgrade which isn't the best when compared to other Mythics which can do 100k and over (Saturn can do 130k+). As for D-Tier these are just your filler legendaries that you'll start with and replace when you get Mythics. Epics and Rares can be good starters early on until you get Dragon or the Farm unit for starting.

That's it for my Brainrot Tower Defense tier list and guide. Check out our Brainrot Tower Defense codes for free goodies.
