Earlier this month, Epic Games Store shyly announced that their free game giveaways are having "a measurable halo effect across the broader PC ecosystem", increasing the sales of those games on Steam during the offer period. New Blood Interactive's Dave Oshry has made the same argument a bit less sympathetically: boosting the profile of games already on Steam is the only reason to release anything on the Epic Games Store, even given Epic's more generous developer revenue share, because EGS sucks.

Happy this week all! It's time for another Steam Next Fest. A time to stock up on unfinished business. A time to litter your desktop with dead-ends. A time to install 30 game demos and play exactly three of them - unless you are RPS supporter Mr_B, who I think accounts for the majority of Valve's downloads traffic these days.

We're not doing the whole Wishlisted thing this year due to a chronic shortage of wishfulness brought on by our collective advancing age, but we'll be writing up the hottest demos as they arrive, in a dramatic departure from our regular news coverage of… writing up the hottest demos as they arrive. It's not all demos, mind: a few developers have scandalous plans to unleash complete games into the storm of prototypes and playtests. Here are the ones we're thinking about feeding to the Maw.

yoko taro new evangelion anime series

On February 23, 2026, at the Evangelion:30+ event happening in Yokohama Arena, Studio Khara announced a new Evangelion anime from it and CloverWorks with Yoko Taro involved. It will also Keiichi Okabe, who worked on the Drakengard, NieR, and Voice of Cards series, as a composer. There's no date for when this new series could appear.

Yoko Taro will be working on the story and script for this new Evangelion anime project. It will be his first time working on the series. He has worked on anime series before, as he was involved with both the NieR: Automata adaptation and KamiErabi God.app. Prior to this, some of his most recent works involved the Voice of Cards trilogy and 404 Game Re:set. Okabe also worked on the soundtrack for the NieR: Automata anime as well.

The last Evangelion anime adaptation was the fourth movie in the Rebuild series, 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. That came out in 2021 worldwide. It wrapped up the alternate take on events of the series and offered an entirely new ending compared to previous adaptations. Kazuya Tsurumaki, who directed all four of those films alongside Hideaki Anno, will return to direct this new series.

The new Evangelion anime series is in development. The original is streaming on Netflix, and the Rebuild of Evangelion movies can be found on places like Amazon.

Pokemon Pokopia and Super Mario Wonder Bros Switch 2 Nintendo Treehouse Live Set

Nintendo announced that we'll get looks at Pokemon Pokopia and Super Mario Bros Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park soon via a Treehouse Live stream, rather than a Direct. It will air at 2pm PT/5pm ET on February 24, 2026, ahead of both games' debuts in March 2026. People will be able to tune on on YouTube.

This showcase will be dedicated to only those two games. It will last for 80 minutes. This could mean that there will be about an equal split for two games, perhaps allowing for around 30 minutes dedicated to each one. Since both games do involve multiplayer elements and Nintendo Treehouse Live streams tend to involve multiple people taking part, it's possible we could also see how those elements look in Pokemon Pokopia and Super Mario Bros Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park.

Here's the placeholder for the upcoming Pokemon Pokopia and Super Mario Bros Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park Nintendo Treehouse Live stream. No spoilers or hints at what we'll see appear in the official description.

https://www.youtube.com/live/8SyOGO_ubSo

We still haven't seen the first proper, first-party Nintendo DIrect of 2026 yet. The only one that appeared so far was a Partner Showcase. That aired at the beginning of February 2026, and it focused on titles from companies like Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Konami, Capcom, Nihon Falcom, and Cygames.

Pokemon Pokopia will come to the Switch 2 on March 5, 2026. Super Mario Bros Wonder is on the Switch now, and the Switch 2 Edition, upgrade pack, and amiibo release date is March 26, 2026. The Pokemon Pokopia and Super Mario Bros Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park Nintendo Treehouse Live will air on YouTube at 2pm PT/5pm ET on February 24, 2026.

Switch Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics Launch Library Represents the System Well

The Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics games for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack owners who bought one of the two peripherals are live and work about exactly as you expect. You need to go ahead and jam your eyeholes right up against the system to start playing seven launch games. While needing to own one of those peripherals that resemble or function like the original device is a bummer and added expense, what is here right now can sometimes be enlightening, impressive, or some mix of the two. It's definitely an appreciated move in terms of game preservation. So, let's go through what we get and how good it is at highlighting the legacy of the Virtual Boy.

3D Tetris

3D Tetris is one of the seven Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics games that I believe best highlights what the company was going for and functions well on the Switch and Switch 2. It can be a bit frustrating, due to camera angles and constant rotation of the field. But you're essentially looking at a Tetris well from overhead and dropping non-traditional Tetriminos down into it to create solid layers. When you completely fill the flat grid, it disappears. It is still possible to wipe a huge space with proper piece placement, but I felt like survival was more the goal here. It definitely nails the 3D sort of atmosphere while being fun to play and looking good.

Galactic Pinball

Frankly, Galactic Pinball feels like one of the more boring Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics additions to this Switch and Switch 2 game library. There is a forced 3D illusion, but it doesn't feel as impressive as other games like 3D Tetris, Red Alarm, Teleroboxer, or Virtual Boy Wario Land. It's also pretty bland tables. I get why it's here, but I doubt people would (or should) spend much time with it.

Golf

Like its name, Golf is a rudimentary simulation of the sport and serves as one of two sports games in the Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics library at launch. It works well and the controls are fine. If I'd been playing this in 1995, I'd probably be much more impressed. But it's not as robust or entertaining as even some of the Game Boy games from that era, which is a knock against it. It's also not the best example of the 3D effect on the system.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVvaCe4esCQ

The Mansion of Innsmouth (Innsmouth no Yakata)

I think I'm more excited about The Mansion of Innsmouth after playing it for a while than the excitement I felt when I heard about it actually showing up. It's such a fun addition. This is sort of like a first-person RPG and maze in which you attempt to get through a haunted mansion. The 3D effects are fine and not as impressive as other titles, but the accessibility is the important part here! It's Nintendo showing that it is willing to go with unlocalized games to round out this collection, and I love that.

Red Alarm

Red Alarm is the Star Fox-like shooter and, I've got to say, taking the fight to AI at this point in time is satisfying. The perspective with the peripheral works for it to offer the illusion of a 3D experience and moving through space. The gameplay is solid too. I would recommend sticking with the game and not giving up on it if it doesn't immediately click with you. The wire-frame models take some getting used to. But should you adjust, you'll find it interesting to see how much T&E Soft did with so little.

Teleroboxer

I'm not always great at playing Teleroboxer, but I think it's the strongest example of what the Virtual Boy was capable of when playing it on the Switch and Switch 2. It's the equivalent of Punch-Out, only with robots. It's difficult and requires learning to read opponents in the same way as games in that series too! But the 3D effects here and character sprites are fantastic. If you only have time to hop into one Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics launch game to test out the new peripherals, this is the game to choose.

Virtual Boy Wario Land

Virtual Boy Wario Land is great for three reasons. One is that it's the most universally accessible game in the Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics lineup. Anyone can jump in and play it. It's a platformer. It works exactly like other Wario Land games. You can't mess it up. The second reason is that it makes great use of the 3D effect by using it to highlight things going on in the foreground and background. We're jumping between the layers as we play, and it's well conveyed. So the 3D effect is good. The final and most important reason is it's just a pretty great Wario Land game that a lot of people probably missed out on, and now everyone can easily access it.

complete rogue piece tier list of everything in the game

Updated on February 23, 2026: Added all the new weapons and traits up to the latest Fallen Arc/Frieren/Berserk update.

I'm ranking all Swords, Combat Specs, Fruits, Races and Traits in Rogue Piece so that you can make the best build. This tier list will also include equipment tips for all categories as well as how to get everything. Here's my ultimate early-mid-late PVP/PVE Rogue Piece tier list for everything in the game.

Rogue Piece Combat Spec and Fruit Tier List

rogue piece combat spec and fruit tier list

Both Combat Specs and Fruits scale with the Power stat in Rogue Piece (RIP Strength stat). On average, Combat Specs tend to be equal to swords. Fruits are weaker than swords with Light (the strongest fruit) being comparable to B-Tier swords (See above). Let's analyze them individually.

Spec & Fruit Tip: These go best with the Power boosting outfits like Aizen's Outfit/Akaza Beads/Garou's Outfit/Shadow Cloak and Demon race for the most Power damage possible. Also get the Soul Spirit Relic for more Power damage which is a rare drop from Chests and a 20% Enchant.

SSS-Tier Specs & Fruits

SSS-Tier Why SSS-Tier? Location

Hakari
• Arguably the best moveset in the entire game dealing over 5 million damage with full build
• Fast AOE M1s with high damage and overall the moves are fast and deal a ton of damage
• V does massive damage and the F will help you land it
• F is definitely one of the most broken moves in the game giving you iFrames for over 30 seconds
• It essentially makes landing moves much easier and is the best defensive skill in the game
• I would even run it on a lot of builds that don't focus on Power just for the utility and defense
• You can boost it with the Restless Gambler title for 20%
Rogue Town
Buy from Hakari's Teacher
Using materials from Hakari boss
To spawn the boss, get Gambler Spirit from the Arcade Gacha
Then you can summon Hakari boss at Rogue Town
The Hakari combat spec also drops from the Arcane Gacha

Gojo & Sukuna
Shibuya Versions
• Classic example of Rogue Piece power creep where new specs/swords usually tend to overshadow the older ones
• Except this time they're just drastically better versions of the old Gojo and Sukuna specs
• After a few test runs with Power boosting gear and Ancient Traits these two are the highest DPS movesets in the entire game right now
• Run The Strongest History Title from Sukuna Shibuya boss and The Strongest Today title from Gojo Shibuya to boost these specs even further
• With the title Gojo outdamages Sukuna but Sukuna is still one of the best specs in the game
Throne Isle

Gojo (Shibuya)
Craft the Limitless Tear using ingredients dropped from
the Gojo Shibuya boss at Throne Isle
Then use the item while having base Gojo spec equipped

Sukuna (Shibuya)
Farm Sukuna Shibuya boss at Throne Isle for 20 True Sukuna's Fingers
Use 20 True Sukuna's Fingers while having base Sukuna spec equipped

Naoya
• While weaker than the new Shibuya specs Naoya already deals top 5 DPS in terms of combat specs
• It's got really fast M1s with great mobility from Z so it's pretty good in PVP
• X is pretty slow but you do get two cutscene moves with C and V for massive damage
Rate-Up Banner
Get from the banner as a 1% drop chance when it's Naoya's banner

Jin Mori
• High damage skills and AOE M1s, nuke grabs and great air mobility with C make this one of the best specs in the game
• DPS is on par with Meta swords and it competes with Shadow and Qin Shi for the highest DPS
• Get Heaven's Equal title from the Jin Mori boss on Abyss Hill for a 20% boost
Abyss Hill
Purchase from Jin Mori Teacher
With materials you get as drops from Jin Mori, Heaven's Equal
Boss on Abyss Hill
• Amazing DPS and utility with the variants, switch and block
• Ton of move variety that can potentially have the highest sustained DPS in the game while Jin Mori does good burst damage
• DPS is on par with Jin Mori and competes decently with all the Meta Swords
• Get King of All Beginnings title from the Qin Shi Huang boss for a 20% boost
(Spawns during wave 10 of the new Ragnarok Dungeon)
Throne Isle
Qin Shi Teacher Quest
Requires 10 Dungeon Tokens
1 Sword of Goujian
10 Alvitr's Fragment
Having at least Diamond Rank to accept the quest

Todoroki
• Todoroki has some of the best combo potential for PVP though it's good for PVE too
• All the moves chain really well together and most have low CDs
• This means that you don't have the best burst damage but have impressive damage-per-second
• Overall a really good combat spec that requires a similar combo style gameplay like Qin Shi
Throne Island
Token Exchange

Kaneki
• Currently one of the best combat specs in the game
• Kaneki has the best M1s among combat specs that are fast, have good range and deal the best damage
• Z is mostly for PVE but X and C cover massive AOEs so they're good for both PVE and PVP
• Plus they deal massive damage when you full channel X and hit V on bosses or players
• Get One Eyed King title from the Kaneki Boss for a 20% damage boost
Sandora Island
Buy from Kaneki Teacher using materials you farm from Kaneki Boss
Farm Kaneki Boss on Abyss Hill
Spawn Kaneki boss using Kaneki's Blood from crafting

S-Tier Specs & Fruits

S-Tier Why S-Tier? Location

Shadow
• Shadow moves are so easy to hit and deal a ton of damage
• It's still one of the best moveset in the entire game since Z and C are fast and excellent for PVP
• X is a bit slow but is great for PVE
• Finally the V is massive AOE damage that is good for both PVP and PVE
• Overall Shadow does so much damage that you cannot go wrong with it and the Abyssbreaker damage buff on C is just a cherry on top
Rogue Town
Buy from Shadow Teacher
1x Core of Shadow
2x Shadow Eye
1x Atomic Core
100x Black Slime
All drops from the Shadow boss on Abyss Hill

One For All
• Both One For All and Shigaraki deal really good DPS but I feel like they're a bit slow for PVP
• Z has a delayed startup, X is slow to drop and only C and F are any good to hit a player
• That said OFA excels in PVE dealing massive damage with V active since it buffs all your moves
• Overall, I would use this to grind late-game content but I need to do more fights for PVP for testing since I don't really like it against players so far
• Once you unlock V and F it deals more PVE damage than Shigaraki but Shigaraki might be better for PVP
Rogue Town
One For All Teacher NPC
Finish all quests to get it
To start the quests you need 10,000 Gems and Diamond+ Rank then talk

For Unlocking V and F
Finish all quests from Full Cowl NPC at Rogue Town

Gojo
• Gojo doesn't have as much DPS as Garou but it has a lot of stuns and iFrames thanks to the domain expansion on V
• It's one of the best PVP specs in the game and excellent for completing the Garou quest
• That said it's also good by itself for PVP/PVE
Jujutsu Highschool
Get from Gojo NPC with materials from the Gojo Boss
You also need The Honored One trait

Aizen
•Aizen overall does more burst damage with his moves than Sukuna but the CDs are longer
• Still it's some of the highest damage in the game so you'll have no trouble with bosses, PVE farming and PVP
• Your range is lower than Sukuna but you have a mobility teleport multi-hit move
• Plus, the black coffin is massive AOE damage
• IMO Gojo is better due to iFrames and Stuns and Garou deals more damage so it goes Garou>Gojo>Aizen

Defeat 10 Aizen Boss for a damage boost Title

Huecomundo
Aizen Teacher

A-Tier Specs & Fruits

A-Tier Why A-Tier? Location

Garou
• Fast M1s and a ton of multi-hit attacks for the highest PVP and PVE DPS
• There's also great utility here with X i-Frames and two cutscenes with C and V for dodging damage
• C and V deal some of the highest damage in the entire game and this gets boosted even further once you get the Garou Outfit and Soul Spirit Relic
• Easily outdamages Akaza and Sukuna

Get the Hero Hunter Title for 20% more damage
Kill Silver Fang Boss 10 times

Glacier Isle
Get Suiryu from the Garou NPC
+Complete quest
Defeat 25 Diamond Rank Players
Punch 2500 times with Suiryu
Then farm Silver Fang Boss on GI for Book of Mastery
Finally use Book of Mastery after Quest with Suiryu equipped

Shigaraki
• Similar to OFA where it's excellent damage but slow for PVP due to slow M1s, a start-up on Z and a C grab that can be difficult to hit
• That said if you hit these moves you'll deal massive burst damage
• V does massive AOE damage though and pulls Shigaraki ahead of OFA for PVP IMO since it's easy to hit
• It also has an edge over OFA because the Destroyer title buffs it by 20%

Title is a 2.5% Drop from Shigaraki Boss

Rogue Town
Shigaraki NPC
Farm the three Shigaraki Boss resources to buy it
The boss spawns using Darkness Spirit at Rogue Town
Get Darkness Spirit from crafting

Sukuna
• Sukuna has lower burst damage than the ones above but it has better combos
• The light combos with Sukuna are some of the best in the game since the M1 is so good and has range
• Plus you get good range on all of your abilities, they're fast and have lower CD than Aizen
• You have amazing AOE and damage for PVE farming and the moves can be pretty good in PVP too
• You also get a nice damage boost

Defeat 10 Sukuna Boss for a damage boost title

Windmill Village
Sukuna Teacher
On a hill

Akaza
• Akaza has some of the best M1s in terms of combat specs and overall his moves deal really good damage
• Plus they are all low cooldown so the DPS stacks up quite fast
• That said the range is low so you'll struggle a bit in PVP if you don't have good movement or you get kited
• That's why I prefer Aizen or Sukuna but don't get me wrong, Akaza is still the top 3 DPS option in the game

Defeat 10 Akaza Boss for a damage boost title

Throne Isle
Akaza Teacher

B-Tier Specs & Fruits

B-Tier Why B-Tier? Location

Light
• The best Fruit/Power in the game both in terms of DPS and mobility (The combat specs and most swords are still better)
• You get really good AOE DPS moves to complement Combat Specs
• You also have the best mobility move in the entire game with F allowing you to both move fast and reposition in PVP
• It's got worse DPS than Combat Specs and Swords but it's still a good backup to have when your Spec skills are on CD
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
2% chance to drop

C-Tier Specs & Fruits

C-Tier Why C-Tier? Location

Blood
Power
Scales With Power
• Light is better but Blood is still a great alternative for PVE farming
• It's better than Gravity in terms of DPS for bosses even though Gravity has better range and AOE
• You also get a movement skill similar to Light with F but slower
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
5% chance to drop

Sandevistan
• The Sandevistan is by far the worst combat spec but when compared to other Powers/Swords it's similar to Tanjiro's Sword
• You get more moves than Swords but they are all a bit slow and deal low DPS
• This can be good mid game for farming but I would overall just farm towards any of the other Combat Specs
• For example, the speed boost is cool but Akaza gets almost 3 times better speed on the final move and much higher DPS
• Sandevistan needs a buff badly
Rogue Town
David NPC
He's at the back of the island on a hill next to the water

Gravity
• Overall Gravity does have good AOE and range but the DPS is simply worse than Blood and Light
• So there's not much point using it other than early game farming if you get lucky and get it
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
5% chance to drop

D-Tier Specs & Fruits

D-Tier Why D-Tier? Location

Quake
• Quake is better than Bomb but it's still not the best since your moves are slow and don't deal that much damage
• The only good thing is C which is a massive AOE for PVE farming but only for mobs and not bosses and it's on an incredibly high CD
• Just use Blood or Light
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
30% chance to drop

Bomb
• Never use this
• Just use Swords to farm either better Fruits or Combat Specs if you want to build Power and then respec
Rogue Town

Rogue Piece Sword Tier List

rogue piece sword tier list

This Rogue Piece sword tier list focuses on both how good the moveset is for PVE and PVP while taking DPS into account (But it's not a DPS-only tier list). The higher tiers will usually be the best options for PVE and PVP while the B-Tiers are only good for PVE. That said, note that lower-tier swords like Wado or Gryphon are still really useful for PVE grinding. Also, Metal Bat and Tanjiro are in the same tier as Epics and Rares because while they have much better DPS, their movesets are slow and awkward. Let's analyze each sword individually below.

Swords Tip: Swords go best with Sword-boosting outfits like Reaper Clothes/Yuta's Outfit/Vampire Suit/Toji/Dragon Slayer Outfit, Arrancar race for max Sword stat boost, and their respective Titles that boost individual swords. Also get the Broken Edge Relic for more Sword damage as a rare drop from chests and the Blessed Stone for sword damage from the Gojo boss.

Meta-Tier Swords

Meta-Tier Why Meta-Tier? Location

Demon Lord's Dual Dagger
• The best weapon in the game right now outputting around 5M damage with an optimized Sword build
• Massive range and AOE damage with M1s, Z and X
• The C and V cutscenes are the highest burst damage cutscenes in the game right now alongside Gambler combat spec
• Buff it from Demon Lord's Slayer title from SJW boss at Red Commander Dungeon on Wave 10

• Check out the quest guide for it to the right

25 Dragon Slayer fragments required from Guts boss and craft at Rogue Town

Yami's Katana
• Top-tier DPS-wise outdamaging Divine Bident and Anti Magic Sword
• X deals good burst with a slow wind-up which isn't good for PVP but Z is a fast ranged attack that is spammable
• The last two moves are both cutscenes dealing massive damage
• Overall Yami's Katana is top-tier DPS-wise but isn't my favorite weapon due to a slow X and awkward M1s
• Buff it with Darkness Magician title from the Yami boss
Hage Island
From Yami Katana Seller
Most materials are from Yami boss
Demonite Fragment is from Asta boss
(See Anti-Magic Sword for Asta boss)
Spawn Yami boss at Hage at Yami Spawner using Demonite Fragments
Yami also drops his title which you need to buy Yami's Katana

Inverted Spear of Heaven
• Better than Anti-Magic Sword and Divine Bident in terms of raw DPS
• Has tedious unlock requirements while not being worth the Trait grind
• That said if you do grind it, it's got massive AOE damage with Z and C on par with the Secrets
• The M1s are fast for PVP and X is a decently fast move
• The V deals massive damage if you can land it and is the highest DPS move
• What makes it S-Tier is the F move which is locked behind a quest
• You can buff ISOH with the Sorcerer Killer title from the Toji boss
Forge Isle
Get from Inverted Spear of Heaven Seller once you complete the prerequisites
Get Spear of Heaven material from Toji Boss
Toji boss spawns 10 minutes after Yuta at Jujutsu Highschool island

Trait goes away after purchase but you can spin for it again

F Move
Complete Chain of Thousand Mile Questline
Must have ISOH equipped with at least 1 Chain of Thousand Miles
At Jujutsu Highschool

S-Tier Swords

S-Tier Why S-Tier? Location

Frieren's Staff
• When all 4 skills are unlocked the Staff deals massive AOE damage on a full rotation
• It still scales with Sword damage
• It's not better than SJW V2 but it's still one of the best weapons in the game
• The Slayer title buffs it for 20% from the boss
Abyss Hill or Limited Banner
Drop from Frieren The Slayer boss that spawns every 10 minutes
To unlock all skills use 4 Magic Spells Scrolls
They are drops from Frieren

Demon King's Longsword
• Deals millions of damage with full rotation and maxed out Sword damage
• The wide M1s and massive AOE and range on the Z and X make it really good for teamfights
• That said you have to farm Book of Throne Keeper from Igris for all skills
• Buff it with Red Commander title from Igris boss Wave 5 of Red Commander Dungeon
Red Commander Dungeon
Get and consume Demon King's Sword
From Igris boss on Wave 5
Then farm all skills with Book of Throne Keeper items
Dropped from Igris

Anti-Magic Sword
• Currently the top 4 DPS sword in the game along with Divine Bident
• Massive AOE damage on all moves and decently fast
• The V mode gives you even more AOE, damage and range making it the best PVP weapon in the game against groups
• Always try to maximize the amount of moves you can get out of the V mode for max DPS
• Also some of the best DPS in the game overall outdamaged only by the new Shibuya specs
• Buff it with Darkness Magician title from the Yami boss
Anti-Magic Dungeon
Use the Anti-Magic Sword
This is a drop from the two Asta bosses in the Anti-Magic Dungeon
Also use Anti Magic Grimoire for all skills
You need 5 which are drops from Asta, Half Demon form
Base Astra spawns Wave 5
Asta Half Demon spawns Wave 10

Divine Bident
• Divine Bident deals DPS on the same level as Anti Magic Sword but comes with less AOE and more mobility
• Both Z and C are jumps which are good PVP tools for both 1v1 and group battles
• X is better for PVE since it locks you in one place but deals massive damage
• Lastly the V is your highest damage move for boss killing
• Top 2 DPS for Swords and top 5 DPS overall outdamaged by Shibuya combat specs
Ragnarok Dungeon
Drop from Hades boss on Wave 5
You can also exchange 200 Dungeon Tokens for Divine Bident

Kusanagi
• Better than Anti-Magic Sword and Divine Bident in terms of raw DPS
• Did more DPS testing and it outdamages all swords except ISOH
• Best for PVP due to fast M1s
• All the moves do pretty great DPS but V is the strongest
• That said the cutscenes are a bit long here
• Combine with Blessing Stone and The Last Uchina title from the Sasuke boss for best DPS
Konoha Village Island
Get from Kusanagi Seller NPC
Using materials from the Sasuke boss
Spawn the boss at this island at Sasuke's Summon after killing 25 Konoha's Head Ninja
Must have The Last Uchina title equipped which is also a drop from Sasuke

A-Tier Swords

A-Tier Why A-Tier? Location

Kafka's Katana
• Fast M1s combined with DPS that goes over 4 million with all moves similar to Venuzdonoa make this one of the best weapons in-game
• That said, Kafka is really hard to get and Venuzdonoa is still better due to easier obtainment and because Kafka doesn't have a Title
• Still, Kafka annihilates bosses with high damage moves
• Z comes out really fast and is good for PVP while X and C are boss killers
• V is good for everything since it's easy to land due to the massive AOE and damage
Xmas Island
Complete Kafka's Katana Seller's Quest
Quest 1 / Kill 10 Players with 50,000+ Reputation
Quest 2 / Kill 10 Players with 100,000+ Reputation
Then buy using materials dropped from Kafka Boss on Abyss Hills

Yuta's Katana
• Requires a lot of grinding due to the low chance Rika's Ring drop from the Yuta boss
• One of the best Legendary swords
• The M1s are fast and the C and V cutscene moves deal massive damage if you can land them
• Z and X are fast for mix ups so overall you have both a really good PVP and also a great PVE option with high damage

Defeat 20 Yuta Boss for the Title that boosts Yuta's Katana damage

Jujutsu Highschool
Get Spiritual Katana from Yuta
Then grind Yuta Boss until you get the Rika's Ring 1%
+Complete Yuta's quest (Defeat 100 Bosses using SK)
Then use it while having Spiritual Katana

Dual Daggers
• SJW doesn't have the best DPS in the game anymore but it's still one of the best PVP swords in the game and great for PVE too
• This is because of fast M1s and great mobility and iFrames
• SJW Daggers give you a lot of flexibility since you have great burst/sustained damage and invincibility
• X is such a great move for PVP to get better mobility
• You can easily solo bosses with these just make sure you have the recommended loadout above

Defeat 10 Sung Jin Woo Boss for a damage boost Title

Rogue Town
Dual Dagger Seller

Venuzdonoa
• One of the best raw DPS swords in the game (damage calculations done with Ancient Spirit and Ancient One)
• Z and C are your fast low CD moves that can pull off 600k to 800k damage
• X and V are more for PVE since they're slower dealing 1 million to 1.4 million damage which is currently the highest in the game
• That said if you land X or V in PVP it's pretty much game over if they don't have Ancient One for defense
• Best combined with the Butterfly suit or Solemn Outfit and Demon King of Tyranny

Get the title from Anos boss or Venuzdonoa Banner for a 20% damage boost

Roll on the Venuzdonoa Banner with a 1% chance drop
Get Crimson Blood from Anos boss for spins

Solemn Lament
• Overall a very strong and fast weapon for PVP and some PVE fights even though it deals lower damage than other weapons
• Solemn Lament deals fast burst damage with amazing M1s that have good AOE and range
• You can pull off about 600k with Z which is a really good PVP move along with C at 310k because they come out fast
• The X charge is good for PVE but deals lower damage than I expected but the V has a nice 750k burst with Ancient
Sandora Island
Get from the Butterfly Gacha at 1% chance drop

B-Tier Swords

B-Tier Why B-Tier? Location

Abyssbreaker
• Abyssbreaker has high DPS but I've found myself liking it more for PVE
• The M1s are slow for PVP but you can still use it for PVP since it has high AOE burst damage
• That said it shines in PVE due to the C move which is a massive damage buff
• Always start with C and then your V and X moves that deal damage around you will nuke bosses and other players
• There's not a Title for this sword yet which sucks but it's still A-Tier
Abyss Hill Island
0.5% drop from the Abyssal Beast boss

Tensa Zangetsu
• Zangetsu has finally been buffed with a V2 version and it's now B+/A-
• Not the best M1s in the game but the skill damage is massive
• It's basically like Abyssbreaker where it's better for PVE than PVP but it deals really good DPS, get the title for optimal numbers
• Z and X are really fast and easy to hit and good for PVP
• C and V deal massive damage similar to Yuta's Katana so they're amazing for PVE and PVP if you can land htem

Kill 10 Arrancar users for the Tensa title for a 20% damage boost

Huecomundo
From Tensa Zangetsu Seller
Pay all the requirements including Zangetsu base
+ Defeat the Zangetsu Boss (You must be the one to spawn him)

Hellsing Dual Pistol
• The Hellsing pistols deal more DPS than Solemn Lament but they're a bit slower
• They're a PVE powerhouse though since all the moves deal great damage to bosses
• I probably wouldn't use them as much in PVE since most moves have a slow frontal start-up but you'll melt bosses
Spooky Island
Purchase For 25,000 Candy at the Candy Exchanger

Herta's Hammer
• On the upper end of weapons in terms of raw PVE DPS with 3 to 4 million damage with all moves on bosses
• M1s are so slow which is bad but in return the moves deal a lot of damage
• It's more of a PVE boss killer weapon since the moves keep you in one position and are easily dodged by players so it's not for PVP that much
• Still if you can catch players in a full channel of X and C it can deal a ton of damage

Get #83 of The Genius Society for 20% damage boost on Herta as a 10% drop from the Herta boss
The Herta Boss spawns from Herta's Summon on Xmas Island after killing 100 Snow Brawlers

Xmas Island
Either purchase it at the Snowflake Exchange NPC for 125.000 Snowflakes
Or
There is an extremely low chance to get it from Xmas Chests

Wado
• Wado and Zangetsu V1 are purely PVE farming weapons
• A more powerful alternative to Gryphon and Dark Blade for PVE farming but has slow M1s
• The moves come out faster and deal better DPS, plus you're not locked in place with the X move so it's slightly better for PVP
• One of the best mid-game weapons for farming but not for late game bosses
Jujutsu Highschool
Purchase For $1,000,000 at the Wado Seller

Zangetsu
• Like Wado but with more moves
• Great AOE damage and range for PVE farming and great for bosses mid-game
• The moves are a bit slow for PVP though
• Basically this is just here so you can get Tensa Zangetsu
Rogue Town
Zangetsu Gacha NPC

C-Tier Swords

C-Tier Why C-Tier? Location

Metal Bat
• Got a buff but still can't compare to the S-Tiers due to slower M1s and lower DPS
• That said the DPS is still A-Tier respectable from V and C mainly but the bad moveset keeps it away from B-Tier
• Z and X are good for mob farming while V and C are good for bosses
• Okay for PVP but not the best option
Starter Island
Complete Metal Bat's quest
Take 5 million damage
Deal 10 million damage

Tanjiro's Nichirin
• Tanjiro's sword has more moves than Dark Blade and Gryphon for more DPS but they are slower and more awkward to land
• Still if you manage to pull out the entire rotation including the cutscene you are dealing more DPS
• But in practice Dark Blade and Gryphon are better because they are faster, especially in PVP
• So overall Tanjiro can sometimes be better for bosses but I wouldn't really get it since Dark Blade/Gryph are better mid-game and Tensa Zangetsu/Yuta/SJW are better late-game
Forge Isle
Tanjiro's Seller

Gryphon
• Gryphon and Dark Blade were one of my favorite weapons for fast farming early to mid-game
• That said both get overshadowed later DPS-wise even though they have faster and smoother moves than Metal Bat and Tanjiro's Sword
• Z can deal a fast burst of damage with good Sword Stats and deals more damage than Dark Blade/Yoru Z
• X has longer iFrames than Dark Blade X
• Great for early to mid PVP due to speed

Dark Blade
• I'm comparing it to Gryphon and it deals lower damage than G's Z but higher damage with X though the iFrames are shorter
• The iFrames are really good to exploit in PVP but overall Dark Blade is just a little bit worse end-game than Gryphon so I put it in C
• Dark Blade is still the best weapon to rush early to mid-game for farming but everything outdamages it later

D-Tier Swords

D-Tier Why D-Tier? Location

Dual Katana
Sword
Scales With Sword
• The best early game farming tool for PVE that you should rush ASAP
• Swords are the best farming tools in general and this is the first one you should get after Katana
• It's really easy to get if you claim all the codes and farm a little
• That said it gets out-DPS-ed by all swords later on
Sandora Island/Desert Island
Between the houses and the tower near the island's port

Katana
Sword
Scales With Sword
• The first Sword you'll get and what you'll use to farm for Dual Katana
• Everyone should start with a Katana to farm other stuff really fast and then you can respec later if you want to use Power-scaling stuff
Starting Island
Near where you originally spawn

Rogue Piece Race Tier List

rogue piece race tier list

The best race in Rogue Piece goes a long way to boost your DPS based on your build. You get them from Race Rerolls and for some like the Demon race you can use specific items like Muzan's Blood. The three races in S-Tier are almost equal depending on whether you're going for a Sword stat build or a Power stat build. A-Tiers are good alternatives and B-Tier are situational picks that can be good but underpowered. C-Tier are weak but good for beginners and D are pretty much useless.

How to Get Race Rerolls: You get them from Codes, by opening Chests and from Fishing. You can get a Fishing rod from the NPC at the starting island's docks and just AFK Fish to farm Race Rerolls (See below for recommended early-mid and late-game races).

S-Tier Races

S-Tier Races Why S-Tier Race Stats

Cursed Spirit
• Requirement for the Gojo spec
• You have to kill so many bosses to reach the 1.5x damage buff each time you log in or die so it can be tedious
• That said the damage buff is massive and it has no downside once stacked unlike Demon and Arrancar
• Overall the most powerful race but comes with a huge tedious farming requirement
• If you don't want to deal with that just go for Demon for Power and Arrancar for Sword builds
• Get a 0.02x damage boost each time you kill a boss stacking up to 1.5x as the cap
• Reseting your character, leaving the game or dying resets the stacks
• Sukuna's Finger also have chance to give you this race which are a drop from the Sukuna Boss on Throne Isle

Demon
• Demon and Arrancar are about even with Demon being for Power stat builds and Arrancar being for Sword stat builds
• That said Demon has an edge for two reasons
First: Because Combat Specs like Sukuna and Aizen scale with Power and they have the best DPS in the game
Second: If you're a Demon fighting an Arrancar, Arrancar take 25% more damage from your Power stat attacks
• This means that you'll be nuking Arrancar players and overall other races with Demon if you have A Power and Sukuna/Aizen
• So in short, Demon is the best race in the game even with the 2% instant-death chance
• Gains +25% HP
• +25% Power stat damage multiplier
• If your HP is below 25%, you have a 2% chance to instantly die

• You can use the Muzan's Blood item dropped from the Akaza Boss spawned on Throne Isle via the Boss Summoner NPC for a low chance to get this race

Arrancar
• The counterpart of Demon but for Sword builds
• The best part about this race besides the Sword damage boost are the dash iFrames
• You get a 0.3 iFrame per dash which can be really strong to avoid some AOE moves
• That said your downside is really bad against Power attacks
• Still it's the best race in the game for Sword builds
• Flash Step: Your dashes have slight iFrames
• Higher defense
• +25% Sword stat damage multiplier
• You take +25% more damage from Power stat attacks

• You can use the Hogyoku item dropped from the Aizen Boss on Huecomundo for a low chance to get this race

A-Tier Races

A-Tier Races Why A-Tier Race Stats

Half Demon
• Weaker overall bonus than the S-Tier races but more balanced and less volatile
• The defensive bonus goes a long way since the top DPS currently is from the Power-scaling Shibuya specs
• The most powerful race after Cursed Spirit, Demon and Arrancar
• Chance to get this race from using Demonite Fragment
(Drops from Asta Half Demon on Wave 10 on Anti Magic Dungeon)
• Reduce damage taken from Power stat (Specs and Fruits)
• Increase Sword damage

Ghoul
• Ghoul is just straight up a better version of Dracula because you get higher lifesteal and it's always on
• This allows you to always be prepared for PVP and PVE so that you can out-tank the damage by constantly healing
• Overall dealing more damage is always better than tanking more damage so Ghoul is A-Tier since S-Tiers all boost damage a lot
• Get 25% global lifesteal that's always on unlike the Dracula race

• A 25% chance to get this race from Ghoul Eyes dropped from Kaneki Boss at Abyss Hill

Dracula
• Worse version of Ghoul
• Half of the time it can be really powerful for PVP and PVE tanking
• Plus you get a nice little damage boost with the Burn
• That said half of the time (during day) you have no race so play around nighttime
• Demon/Arrancar are still better overall and Ghoul Lifesteal works all the time
• The burn effect is not worth it over Ghoul since Dracula doesn't work half of the time
• Gain 20% Lifesteal healing you based on the damage you deal
• Get Burn damage on attacks
Both of these effects only work at night
• Alucard Blood also has a chance to give you this race which are a drop from the Alucard Boss

Celestial Dragon
• Get this race ASAP in the early and mid-game so that you can farm faster towards late game
• Once you have some high-tier gear from the tier list above, you can go for Demon or Arrancar
• This is the best race in the game early to mid/late for farming
• Gains +25% Gems
• Gain +25% EXP
• Gain +25% Money

B-Tier Races

B-Tier Races Why B-Tier Race Stats

Cyborg
• An okay race to get since the extra HP is useful but this game favors damage more so this is just an alternative to Demon and Arrancar
• That said if you don't like the debuffs, Cyborg is perfect but know that it is weaker overall
• Scales really well with high Defense
• Gains +50% Health

• You can use the Hardware Chip item dropped from the David Boss spawned on Throne Island via the Boss Summoner NPC for a low chance to get this race

C-Tier Races

C-Tier Races Why C-Tier Race Stats

Fishman
• The swimming part is useless since you'll be air-dashing everywhere anyway
• The Defense boost is nice and more useful than all the races below so it's okay if you can't get anything better
• Swims faster and has higher defense

Mink
• Overall useless but can sometimes work in your favor for PVP dodging
• That said it's not worth it and you should get a higher-tier race
• Runs faster and dashes quicker

D-Tier Races

D-Tier Races Why D-Tier Race Stats

Skypiean
• Similar to Mink where it's mostly useless but it can be good in PVP sometimes to dodge attacks or position yourself higher than your opponnet for a move
• That said it's not worth it and you should get a higher-tier race
• Can use air-jump 3 extra times

Human
• No buffs • No buffs

Rogue Piece Trait Tier List

rogue piece trait tier list

The best traits in Rogue Piece are much easier to determine than Swords or Specs since it's just a simple numbers game. That said damage tends to be the best stat to boost as well as cooldown since most of the game is PVE farming and it's better to kill faster than tank more damage. That's why you'll see that some Traits that boost damage or cooldowns better are placed higher. Here's what each Trait does below.

Standing with Nala and Lady in disney dreamlight valley

Lady has gotten quite close to Nala, who has agreed to take her on as an apprentice honorary lion in Disney Dreamlight Valley. She's prepared some rigorous training, and your help is required to make it all happen in the Like Cats and Dogs quest.

This mission is Lady's level seven friendship quest, making it crucial to check off if you want to unlock all her relationship rewards. It's got some tricky parts, though, so here's a complete walkthrough for the Getting on Like Cats and Dogs quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete Getting on Like Cats and Dogs in Disney Dreamlight Valley

getting on like cats and dogs quest in disney dreamlight valley
Screenshot by Destructoid

Go to the Sunlit Plateau

To get started, head to the Sunlit Plateau biome. This area is found in the upper left corner of the valley, right between the Forgotten Lands and the Glade of Trust.

Follow Lady as she tracks Nala's scent

Once you're in the right biome, follow Lady around as she tracks Nala's scent. The clouds will lead you over to the entrance to the Vitalys Mines, so head inside this area to continue the mission.

Follow Nala's scent while wearing the Substitute Snout

Inside the mines, Lady is having trouble finding Nala's scent. To help her out, equip the Substitute Snout you previously obtained during The Jailbreak quest. Once you have it on, head left to go deeper in the mines.

Evade all the enchanted spotlights

As you follow Nala's scent trail, one of your other ongoing goals is to evade all enchanted spotlights. Along the path, there are six total lights you'll encounter. Anytime you spot one, it's best to stop and watch the light so you can learn its pattern before moving forward. If you're caught, you'll be sent backwards, so moving carefully is crucial here.

Catch your prey

The other goal you need to work on while following the scent trail is catching your prey. To do so, you must find and pick up a total of five Enchanted Squeaky Toys along the path. These are small, sparkling balls sitting on the path throughout the mines. Near the end of the path, Nala will show up to chat with you, so talk to her to progress.

Giving nala all squeaky toys in disney dreamlight valley

Catch all the moving Enchanted Squeaky Toys while not stepping under the spotlights

Nala then decides to increase the difficulty, so all the Enchanted Squeaky Toys you caught are set loose and start flying around. Chase down all five Enchanted Squeaky Toys around the Vitalys Mines. Then, chat with Nala to pass them over to her.

Talk to Tramp

Lady is quite proud of her training progress, so head back to the valley so she can share her excitement with Tramp. Talk to Tramp to catch him up on Lady's training. Unfortunately, while you were gone, Scar stole Tramp's Bones, so he's a bit upset about the situation. Find and confront Scar to learn what he did with them.

Find Tramp's Bones

Tramp's Bones have been scattered all around the valley, and you're only given a few vague hints to track them down. All three bones are located in ripple spots, so you need your trusty Royal Fishing Rod to catch them. Here are all the hints you're given, and where each one is telling you to look.

  • Near the parent of glass where waves lap and turtles play – Just off the Skull Rock Island in the Dazzle Beach biome, close to Ariel's boat.
  • Swimming deep in mud and muck, where crocodiles roam – In the ancient ruins pool near the very north end of the Glade of Trust biome.
  • Seek the border between forest and frost and the gift that snow grants to flame – The pool of water near the north end of the Forest of Valor, with the waterfall coming down from the Frosted Heights area.

Once you've found and recovered all three of Tramp's Bones, meet up with Tramp to return them. Then, equip the Lady Bejeweled Necklace item you're given, and use your Phone to snap a picture with Lady and Tramp. As soon as you do, the Getting on Like Cats and Dogs quest will be complete.

By default, Valley Valentines quests should appear on the official quest page, but they seem to be a bit bugged, making it difficult to get going on this event. If you encounter this issue, there's an easy fix.

Navigate to the Events page, select the Valley Valentines event tab, and click the Quests drop-down menu right under it. Scroll through the list of missions until you spot one that has a purple icon background instead of a blue one. This is your daily quest, so track down the character featured on it and chat with them to start the event quest.

How many Valley Valentines quests can you complete per day in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

You can only finish one Valley Valentines event quest each day in DDV. A fresh one unlocks every day at 5am in your local time zone, so logging on daily for the duration of the event is crucial if you want to tackle them all.

How long is the Valley Valentines event in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

The Valley Valentines event is available to complete from Feb. 11 to 25. It's a fairly short one, with only two weeks to tackle everything it entails. 2026 is the first year we've gotten it, but it'll likely become an annual occurrence like all other seasonal events, so if you miss out on anything, you can expect to get another chance at it in 2027.

While you're working through this event, be sure to also keep an eye on the Paw-fect Romance Star Path, as it's running alongside it. This event has plenty of other tricky tasks you'll want to tackle so you can claim even more rewards. Some missions you might encounter and need to get done are chatting with a villager named after a flower, crafting a large elixir, selling green veggies, and mining for black stones.

A ghost trapped in a summoning circle in front of a flaming cross in Phasmophobia

If you think you've mastered the art of ghost hunting in Phasmophobia, you may be ready to put your skills to the test. Weekly challenge modes are a great way to find out just how good you are.

These special trials modify how the game works, usually with rules that make the experience a lot harder. Successfully finishing the challenge gets you plenty of XP and cash, so it's well worth the effort. Here's the weekly challenge in Phasmophobia and everything you need to know to beat it.

Phasmophobia weekly challenge mode (Feb. 22-March 1)

tortoise and the hare: tortoise challenge description in phasmophobia
Screenshot by Destructoid

From Feb. 22 to March 1, the weekly challenge is Tortoise and the Hare: Tortoise in Phasmophobia. In this challenge, you're the Tortoise, and the ghost is the Hare, so you move super slow while the ghost gets a hefty speed boost.

How to complete the weekly challenge in Phasmophobia

To finish the weekly challenge mode in Phasmophobia, you need to correctly identify the ghost present on the featured map three times. The specific changes in each trial mode vary, but your goal is always the same.

All Tortoise and the Hare: Tortoise weekly challenge modifiers in Phasmophobia

This challenge mode has several specific rules that modify the way the contract functions. Here are all the key details you need to know.

  • Map: Grafton Farmhouse
  • Starting sanity: 100 percent
  • Setup time: None
  • Player speed: 75 percent
  • Ghost speed: 150 percent
  • Change favorite room frequency: High
  • Fuse box state: Starts off, but is marked on the map
  • Cursed Possession: Random
  • Equipment: All Tier II items.

    • Tier II: Sound Recorder, Head Gear, Salt, Tripod, Sound Sensor, Ultraviolet, Motion Sensor, Parabolic Microphone, Photo Camera, Crucifix, Spirit Box, DOTS Projector, EMF Reader, Ghost Writing Book, Video Camera, Flashlight, Firelight, Incense, and Igniters.

  • Missing Equipment: Two Firelights

Phasmophobia Tortoise and the Hare: Tortoise weekly challenge mode tips

This is one of the trickier challenges you can attempt in Phasmophobia, so here are some of the best tips you can employ to help you get it done.

  • Learn the layout of the reworked Grafton Farmhouse map. It looks and feels a lot different than it did before, so it's best to first explore it in a custom match with the friendly ghost option turned on so you can strategize before you jump in.
  • Start by turning on the fuse box. It always starts off in this trial, so begin each attempt by locating where it is on the map and tracking it down to get the power going.
  • Be wary of early hunters. There's no setup time in this one, so it's possible, although unlikely, that you may be hunted as soon as you step on the map. Try to get Crucifixes down around the ghost room as soon as possible to deter this and also ensure you're always ready to run or hide as needed.
  • Avoid Cursed Possessions. Using them is likely to trigger a hunt, and since you're slower than usual but the ghost is faster, you want to avoid hunts at all costs. It's very difficult to escape them during one, so play it safe and don't use these objects.
  • Hide, don't run. Running from the ghost during hunts doesn't work well in this trial since your speed is decreased while the ghost's speed is enhanced. Rely on hiding rather than running to survive in the event of any untimely ghost hunts you face. Consider scouting out some solid hiding spots early on so you can be prepared if needed.
  • Play with friends. Your odds of success are a lot better with allies helping you through this tricky trial. With additional ghost hunters at your side, you can explore the map more quickly, work together to gather evidence, and continue the investigation even if you perish.
  • Don't give up. Since all equipment is provided for free, there's nothing to lose in this challenge. Because of this, you can keep trying without worrying about losing money or equipment. Give each contract your all and keep at it until you get it done.
  • Make an educated guess. Some ghosts are just easier to identify than others, so luck plays a large role in how easy or tough this trial is. You should always make a guess before you leave, then reroll to try again, even if you have no idea what the correct ghost type is.

When does the challenge mode change in Phasmophobia?

The challenge mode changes every Monday at 12am UTC, which translates to 6pm CT every Sunday. You have a full week to tackle each challenge mode when it's available. All challenge modes return regularly since they're on a rotating schedule, so if you don't get to finish one, you can always try it again in the future.

Next weekly challenge mode in Phasmophobia

The next weekly challenge mode, which will run for a full week from March 1 to 8, will be Gotta Go Fast!. This challenge mode will begin as soon as this week's featured one ends.

Riding the golf cart in Super Battle Golf

Super Battle Golf has over 30 achievements for you to complete, and some of them are pretty challenging to finish.

For starters, the requirements for How is that Even Possible achievement are hidden. The Safety First achievement, on the other hand, is simply extremely difficult to complete. So here's how to take out both.

How is that Even Possible achievement guide in Super Battle Golf

To complete the How is that Even Possible achievement, you have to knock yourself out using your own golf ball.

Hitting the ball against the wall in Super Battle Golf
Screenshot by Destructoid

So how do you knock yourself out? For starters, I recommend doing this in the starting lobby before beginning a fresh round. Spawn a ball, and knock it against the wall of the house on your left. Once the ball is against the wall, aim at the wall with as much power as possible.

Now, hit the ball, and it will ricochet back towards you and knock you out. While you'll be stunned for a few seconds, it will complete the How is that Even Possible achievement. In case you were wondering, this is the only hidden/secret achievement in the current build of the game.

How to complete the Safety First achievement in Super Battle Golf

Unlike How is that Even Possible, the Safety First achievement requires you to disarm an active landmine. If you try to walk on it, you'll get knocked out. So how do you disarm it?

Getting the Single-Shot Pistol in Super Battle Golf
Image via Oro Interactive

Ideally, try to get a Dueling Pistol. Once you locate an active landmine, keep your distance and aim at it with your pistol. Shoot the landmine, and it should trigger without blowing you up. This method counts as a disarm (although it's not) and completes the achievement.

The other way is to press the Alt key to creep your way to the explosive. Once you're near, press the E button to pick it up. Don't let go of the Alt key; I did that, and the results weren't good.

Do note that Super Battle Golf has 10 different items that you can get at random. All items have specific achievements tied to them, and most of them are rather simple to complete. These items aren't only good for completing achievements. They will be key for you to stop your opponents before they can win a round.

Valentine's challenge in BitLife

Love is in the air, and it's time to stir up some drama in one of BitLife's weekly challenges. The Valentine's challenge has quite a selection of romance-focused goals for you to work through.

BitLife challenges always come with a few complex tasks, as they often ask you to check off missions you didn't even know were in the game. If any part of this one has you stumped, here's how to complete the Valentine's challenge in BitLife.

BitLife Valentine's challenge walkthrough

valentine's challenge goals in bitlife
Screenshot by Destructoid

There are five key goals in the Valentine's challenge. You'll need to start off by causing a bit of drama, but eventually work your way up to a solid, steady romance. Here are the quests you need to get done.

  • Cheat on a lover.
  • Call off an engagement.
  • Marry someone within a year of knowing them.
  • Celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary.
  • Renew your vows.

Cheat on a lover in BitLife

Your first goal is to cheat on a lover. To start, make sure you have a romantic relationship with someone. You'll want to be in an official relationship with them to ensure you can actually cheat on them. Once you do have a lover, seek out someone different to get romantic with.

There are many different ways you can cheat on your partner. You can find someone else you already know under the Relationships tab, seek out someone new through the Love tab, pick a co-worker, visit clubs, or otherwise meet someone any way you can think of. Once you find someone you want to cheat with, choose a romantic option, like a booty call or having a one-night stand, to officially cheat.

Call off an engagement in BitLife

The next task you need to check off is calling off an engagement. First, you'll need to get engaged. Your last partner might be a bit tough to get engaged to since you cheated on them, so you can either try with them or find someone new.

You can be the one to propose, or you can wait for your partner to ask you. Once you're engaged, select the Relationships tab, click on your betrothed, and select the Cancel Engagement option.

Marry someone within a year of knowing them in BitLife

It's time for a fresh start, as you now need to marry someone within a year of meeting them. Find a new romantic partner, then get engaged to them as soon as possible. Work on your relationship a bit to ensure everything is going well, then get married to seal the deal.

It's crucial that you do not age up until you are married. If you do, you'll have to break up with the person you chose and start this specific mission all over again, as you must meet, get engaged, and get married to someone all within the same year to check this task off.

Celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary in BitLife

Next, you need to celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary. This goal is really just a game of luck and patience, as you'll essentially just need to stay happily and healthily married for a total of 50 years. Getting married early on helps with this, as you and your spouse are more likely to perish as you get older. There's no specific way to actually celebrate 50 years; all this task asks is that you both survive for 50 years after getting married.

Renew your vows in BitLife

Renew vows option in BitLife
Screenshot by Destructoid

Your final mission is to renew your vows. Click on the Relationships page right next to the Age button, find and select your partner, and scroll down to the very bottom to find the Renew Vows option a few rows up. You must be on good terms with your partner for them to agree, so if they don't, work on your relationship first.

If you're up for some more tricky BitLife tasks after completing the entire Valentine's challenge, there are plenty of other quests you can work on. Next, you might try finishing the Crazy Ex challenge, buying a Lamborghini, completing the Gatsby challenge, and getting a restraining order.

anime paradox unit tier list and guide

Updated on February 23, 2026: Added all the new units up until the latest 1.5 UPD and adjusted rankings.

I'll be ranking all units based on their EVO forms and assuming best rolled stats for DPS, Support and Farm categories. In general, you'll need at least one support, one farm and fill the rest with DPS units. Here's my Anime Paradox tier list and guide.

Anime Paradox Best Unit Tier List

anime paradox unit tier list

The best units in Anime Paradox depend on what role you need whether it's DPS, Support, Farm or starter/beginner. In general, the best units are in the Meta or S-Tier. That said, supports matter as well since enemies will do chip damage to your units every wave. This means that you should bring at least one healer from the support section for harder modes. Not all supports are healers though since Ulquiarro or Kirrua also slow or stun enemies. Let's dive into each individual unit below and discuss their rankings.

Disclaimer: I'm assuming EVO and best rolled stats when ranking these units.

Best Units Overall: Megumin and Sukuna for DPS, Gojo for Support.

Best for Infinite/Siege: Brolu, SJW, Igrus (with SJW), Megumo, Oreheme.

Best Starter: Natzo, Megomun, Any Legendary DPS.

Easy EVO Units: Kirrua, Asto, Melio, Itachi, Ciel, Megumin, Sky, Idol, Steel.

Meta Units

Meta Units Ranking Notes

Sukuno (Curse King)
JJK Portal Secret
• The best DPS unit in the game
• Sukuno has an ebb and flow playstyle where you generate stacks on attack with Energy Flow and then do an ability for a massive damage buff that resets stacks
• Also has Black Flash for more DPS, faster Energy Flow charge and self-healing
• Malevolent Decree is huge team utility debuffing enemies with damage amplification for your team and reducing their damage
• All off this is on top of the Domain Expansion which is a 1000% damage nuke that hits everything on the map

Brojo (Six Eyes)
JJK Portal Secret
• Brojo is the best DPS/Support in the game dealing excellent damage but also slowing and stunning enemies
• Infinity is your main slow and damage buff and you can use Limitless Mastery to buff your actives for massive DPS
• Once you get your Domain Expansion you get a full AOE massive stun which is the best support ability in the game
• Plus, Brojo cannot be stunned and is immune to all status effects

Megumo (Ten Shadows)
Banner Paradox
Pity is 25M/20M for VIP
• One of the strongest units in the game right now that comes in two parts, Megumo and his Mahoraga summon
• Megumo himself has two self-buff passives with SE and CE for damage and cooldown reduction
• He also deals more damage and reduces damage reduction on every 5th attack scaling with attack speed traits and buffs
• But his main ability is summoning Mahoraga who stacks damage reduction and damage buffs as he gets to low HP
• Mahoraga on low HP becomes a tanky DPS machine dealing a ton of damage and ignoring 30% damage reduction

Zid (Atomic)
Banner Secret
• The most powerful Secret in the game and the top 3 best unit in the game
• Zid hits the entire map once you upgrade him to All Range Atomic
• He's also one of the most tankiest units in the game with massive Full AOE DPS and of course range
• Amazing for Infinite/Siege

Sun Jin Wu (Monarch)
Raid Act 3 Secret
• An extremely powerful DPS unit that's a bit slow to get going and requires Igrus for the full potential
• On his own he's quite strong having a self massive damage/CDR/Lifesteal self buff on low HP and executing non-boss enemies
• He slowly stacks on-kill gaining damage, CDR, Lifesteal, execute threshold and buff threshold/duration at certain kill stack counts
• This alone makes him extremely powerful in longer modes like Infinite and one of the best units in the game
• That said, if you have Igrus he'll stack twice as fast becoming viable for faster modes as well

Bumta (True Love)
Banner Secret
Pity is 20M/16M for VIP
• Not the most complex/exciting Secret but still mechanically Meta/S-Tier due to massive ~200k damage with his three actives per skill on full upgrade
• He's all about high damage reduction below 35% HP and reducing enemy damage reduction by 25% on-attack
• Plus he stacks up a chunky 40% damage buff decently fast that you can keep up as long as you heal him and he's not downed

S-Tier DPS

S-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Storrk (Resurreccion)
Banner Paradox
• The strongest unit in the game with the best health, damage and range
• Basically hits the entire map though not like Zid with full AOE and instead chases down all enemies
• Also has the Metralleta nuke that deletes almost anything on the level including dealing a massive HP chunk out of almost any boss
• Critical attacks also extend each hit's range after each hit by 20%
• Amazing for Infinite/Siege

Maeto (True Form)
Banner Mythic to Secret EVO
• Amazing alt-Meta damage and utility since he applies a 20% damage amplification debuff on enemies thus buffing all your units
• Plus he's better at executing enemies since he gets another damage buff against enemies below 50%
• He's quite tanky too due to the Distorted Form damage reduction spam and fixed Black Flashes

Igrus (Elite Knight)
Siege Shop Secret
• Stacks a damage buff on-kill for up to a 100% damage increase
• Also has a self-heal and deals heavy Bleed damage
• Also synergizes with Sun Jin Wu in two ways
• First, he deals more damage to enemies above 40% HP which gets them lower faster for SJW's execute
• Second, if you also have SJW placed Igrus gains more damage and CDR
• He's not as reliant on SJW as SJW is on Igrus for speed since without SJW Igrus still gets a damage reduction buff
• That said Igrus has a much lower power potential than SJW

Ichuga (Vasto Lorde)
Legend Stage Hollow Act 3 Secret
• A solo carry unit dealing massive Bleed damage on-hit and has a self damage buff
• Plus, the buff also self-heals him every 15 seconds so he can take a lot of hits
• The self-sustain makes him really tanky so he can hold his own if there's no healer nearby (You still need a healer)
• Outdamages Mythics since he can deal anywhere from 10k DPS to 20k depending on if his buff and bleeds are active
• That said weaker than SJW and Igrus in a longer game since they outscale Ichuga

A-Tier DPS

A-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Betu (Parade)
Banner Mythic
• The Dragon and his actives deal such great damage that he's probably the best or one of the best Mythics in the game
• He also self-buffs and self-sustains with his built-in heal
• And as a cherry on top you also have some off-support as he reduces enemy damage within his range making your units tanky

Brolu (Super)
Banner Mythic
• One of the best Mythics in the game for AOE
• Takes a while to get going since he's a stack-based unit that buffs his own damage on-kill
• You'll need 25 kills to reach the threshold for Unstable Power which doubles all the damage buffs
• With his base moves this makes him deal massive AOE damage and some of the best AOE DPS in the game
• He's not S-Tier though because Unstable Power has a 30-second cooldown
• Amazing for Infinite/Siege

Kirrua (Godspeed)
Banner Mythic
• Has both stuns on attack and marks enemies to take more damage from all sources for excellent support potential
• That said he also deals great DPS so he's a DPS/Support hybrid
• This is due to high attack speed that scales really well with his Godspeed self buff on every 8th attack to gain damage and more CDR for massive DPS

Tuji (Heavenly Pact)
Banner Mythic
• Very simple and effective DPS unit that works well in most modes focusing on immunity to enemy ability-based damage
• Plus he gets more damage to enemies with active buffs and a damage burst every 4th attack that synergizes with attack speed traits & buffs

Joegu (Volcanic)
Banner Mythic
• A great alternative AOE DPS unit if you don't have the meta units
• The actives and burn deal impressive damage
• Plus you get some slowing for off-support potential
• Great to use until you get higher tier units

Ulquiarro (Murcielago)
Banner Mythic
• Ulquiarro is a slow-type support with his Fear effect that reduces movement speed by 40% in an AOE every 8 kills
• He's also very tanky because both hitting enemies with Fear and his High Speed Regeneration passive actually heal
• You want to keep him above 80% for a damage buff too so he's a Support DPS hybrid leaning toward the Support side more

Natzo (Lightning)
Valentine Shop
• A great starter unit that deals excellent Burn damage, scales with other sources of Burn and also self-heals if you stack the Burn passive
• Brilliant Flames applies stack on a single target that bursts into AOE damage on 3 stacks
• Overall a great mix of single and AOE damage that you can use as a starter but isn't S or Meta in terms of DPS later

Asto (Devil)
Banner Mythic
• A really good secondary-DPS/Support due to his high damage and status effect
• Really easy to EVO so he's the perfect beginner unit
• That said Ulquiarro and Kirrua do a better overall job at the off-Support role due to better status effects and utility

B-Tier DPS

B-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Ciel (Super)
Banner Mythic
• Really easy to EVO and I recommend you EVO him first
• Viable DPS across all upgrade levels stacking damage and HP on kill
• He even self-heals and buffs his speed at max stacks which is pretty good
• That said, what makes him really strong is that he becomes Full AOE on upgrade
• Overall, the best beginner unit in the game that I would rush to EVO outclassed only by Meta, S-Tiers and some A-Tiers

Chaso (Blood Bath)
Banner Mythic
• Serves as a boss-killer since his stacking mark detonates for % max HP for massive single-target damage
• Also has damage reduction like Yuta/Bumta on low HP
• That said, not the strongest AOE damage so I think B-Tier is good for now

Kasheemu (Electric)
Banner Mythic
• Needs to be placed in the front for constant access to enemies to keep up his damage buff
• Scales with attack speed from traits and buffs due to the bonus damage on every 5th attack
• Overall decent DPS but nothing OP

Bacardi (Gambler)
Banner Mythic
• Fever Rush would be better if it activated more regularly or if it was more powerful
• Lucky Streak is pretty good though with his AOE skills now that it has been fixed
• Still, Bacardi isn't as reliable as higher-tier DPS units since even when you win on the RNG, the DPS increase isn't that impactful

Ohma (EVO)
Valentine Shop
• A decent DPS unit that scales damage and attack speed the more it gets hit and the more it drops below 60%
• Overall can be good but is ultimately in the lower tiers below Meta and S-Tier
• Still good as an alternative DPS to use as you grind higher tier units

Melio (Wrath)
Banner Mythic
• Deals really good DPS but doesn't bring much utility otherwise
• I would Evo Ciel or Meliodas as a beginner since they will carry you if you cannot get higher-tier DPS units

Itochi (Eternal Flame)
Banner Mythic
• Not the best DPS unit since the Escape passive doesn't trigger that often if you heal your units well
• Plus it's not that powerful and triggers only once per wave
• That said the DPS is quite decent

Eryu (Antithesis)
Banner Mythic
• Eryu's passives are all pretty good even though he suffered from some nerfs
• He's still overall quite strong outputting great damage from the backline

C-Tier DPS

C-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Freezo
Banner Mythic
• Decent self-buff skill but the main DPS comes from Explosive Aura
• This makes Freezo deal a ton of full AOE dps around him and apply Burn
• He would be A-Tier if both his self buff and AOE burst didn't have long cooldowns

Sky (Enhanced)
Battle Pass Level 25 Exclusive
• You want to place him in the front since he gains stacks on-hit and when being hit
• On max stacks he gets a massive damage and attack speed/CDR buff for 12 seconds and resets stacks
• That said he's really slow to get going and outside of Infinite he's really awkward to play requiring a lot of support and setup which just isn't worth it

Seth (One-Winged)
Battle Pass Level 50 Exclusive
• Decent DPS alternative if you don't have better units
• He doubles up on skills every 16 seconds for some nice burst damage but the cooldown is too long
• He also relies on being low HP for max DPS due to his passive but he doesn't have Lifesteal like SJW so he's highly reliant on a healer
• Overall can be situationally good but he's not as reliable as other DPS units since you have to get him low and then heal him

Chae-In (Light)
Banner Mythic
• Has okay DPS when starting waves due to her passive
• Then becomes weaker and offers no utility
• Got buffed but stil isn't the best unit though she's better than most C-Tiers

Megomun (Explosion)
Early Access+ or AFK Chamber Exclusive
• Really good unit for beginners since she's easy to get in the AFK chamber and EVO
• Massive burst damage with the explosion
• That said not the best later since the explosion's cooldown is massive

S-Tier Support

S-Tier Support Units Ranking Notes

Brojo (Six Eyes)
JJK Portal Secret
• Brojo is the best DPS/Support in the game dealing excellent damage but also slowing and stunning enemies
• Infinity is your main slow and damage buff and you can use Limitless Mastery to buff your actives for massive DPS
• Once you get your Domain Expansion you get a full AOE massive stun which is the best support ability in the game
• Plus, Brojo cannot be stunned and is immune to all status effects

Idol (Pop)
Banner Mythic
• One of the best units for your healer slot since she has an AOE heal
• The heal also buffs damage and attack cooldowns for an impressive DPS boost inside of her range
• That said don't use her as a starter and place her later
• Buffs don't stack but the duration does
• This is important because her Evo passive Encore extends the buff on buffed unit who gets a kill
• Goes best with AngelicTrait

Oreheme
Banner Mythic
• The best healer in the game if we're talking just raw healing
• Though Idol is sometimes better due to the damage buff
• Oreheme isn't need in all modes but she's really good when you need a full healer
• Goes best with Blessing Trait

Ulquiarro (Murcielago)
Banner Mythic
• Ulquiarro is a slow-type support with his Fear effect that reduces movement speed by 40% in an AOE every 8 kills
• He's also very tanky because both hitting enemies with Fear and his High Speed Regeneration passive actually heal
• You want to keep him above 80% for a damage buff too so he's a Support DPS hybrid leaning toward the Support side more

A-Tier Support

A-Tier Support Units Ranking Notes

Steel
Banner Mythic
• Steel is a tank unit that supports your team by drawing attention away and stalling enemies so that your DPS units can kill them
• Overall he's not needed in every mode but he's a pretty useful support unit
• Plus he shields and damage buffs your units which is really good

Asto (Devil)
Banner Mythic
• Great if you don't have better DPS/status effect support hybrid options like Kirrua and Ulquiarro
• Offers decent damage and good team utility
• The status effect supports in S-Tier are better support wise but Asto is still an amazing off-DPS

Shadow Vampire
AFK Chamber
• Has decent utility and is easy to get via the AFK chamber
• Deals decent DPS with The World though it's unreliable at 40% of the time on-hit
• But the status effect is pretty decent so he's still worth running if you don't have better options
• Really easy to EVO so a great beginner unit

Sakura
Banner Epic
• A great choice if you need a support early

Anime Paradox Farming Guide (For Everything)

Here are some tips for farming Gems and other materials:

  • Trait Rerolls: Battlepass 10+18 RRS with free and premium, 260 RRS in Milestone Leveling, 168 RRS in Achievements, 3 every hour in Gold Shop, Exchangeable in Raid Shop and Siege Shop.
  • Gem Farming: I recommend farming Infinite and resetting on Wave 6 for 50 gems every 1:20 minutes.
  • Story Mode Nightmare: This is a great grinding method for account EXP, unit EXP, food, Gems and Gold.
  • Evo Materials: You can buy Essences from the Merchant using gold every hour. Also, complete Challenges for more. Lastly, you can craft other Essences using Green Essence you farm.
  • Legend Stage: The Ichigo stage is also a good place to farm Gems, Gold, EXP, Food and Green Essence with 2% to get Ichigo at around 4 minutes and 20 seconds completion time.

That's it for my Anime Paradox unit tier list and guide. Feel free to check out our Anime Paradox codes article for a bunch of free rewards.
