The Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy character trailer rollout continues, and Zidane from FFIX is the next featured unit. As usual, the video focuses on his appearance in the past before looking at his real-world look in the spin-off, new types of attacks, and possible role in the story.
The Zidane trailer starts by showing footage from the PS1 game of the character in cinematics and battle. Then, we see his more modern look and learn Romi Park is the Japanese voice actress playing him. She's played the character in multiple Dissidia installments, and we also heard her as Bleach's Toshiro Hitsugaya, Fullmetal Alchemist's Edward Elric, and Persona's Naoto Shirogane.
From there, the focus shifts to combat. After seeing some normal attacks, we get to watch his skills. He performs Swift Strike, Sleight of Hand, Trance, and Grand Lethal here.
You can see the full Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy Zidane character trailer below. It ends with a cinematic where he states, "And that's exactly why people call us 'ghosts.' We disappear the second they see us."
In case you missed some of the past trailers, here are all of the other characters Square Enix showed off so far.
Square Enix should share a trailer highlighting Rinoa Heartilly from FFVIII next.
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy pre-registration is live, and the game is expected to debut in March 2026 debut on Android and Apple iOS mobile devices.

The Protect/Destroy 3 contract in Marathon requires you to complete two tasks in a single run, and knowing what you need to do will ease the process.
Compared to the first two Protect/Destroy contracts, the third one is relatively easier. However, you can easily get confused on the map while trying to complete the objectives. Let's look at how to finish both tasks in a quick time.
Table of contents
Marathon Protect/Destroy 3 contract guide
The Protect/Destroy 3 contract can be broken down into the following parts.
How to Install UV Protocol from secure room in southwest Intersection
The first task is to install the UV Protocol, which is located in a secure room in the Intersection location. I have marked the exact spot on Dire Marsh. The room is protected by lasers, and you have to destroy the power boxes so as not to take any damage.
Three of the boxes are on the exterior walls, while the remaining one is inside (above the doorway). Once you've destroyed the power boxes, go upstairs, and the quest marker will show the location of the cabinet. From there, you can collect the UV Protocol.
How to tag marked locations across Dire Marsh
The second task involves tagging three marked locations in either Compelx, Maintenance, or AI Uplink. The Maintenance POI is closest from Intersection. What you're looking for are three blank walls, and their locations pop up only when you're near them. I have marked the spots on the image above.
This will wrap up the Protect/Destroy 3 contract, and you can proceed to finish the remaining two.

The Outpost map is now available in Marathon, and you can finish the Introducing: Sekiguchi contract to gain access to the faction.
Like all other liaison contracts, this one is slightly tricky to complete. There are two tasks to complete in a single run. Let's find out how you can complete the Introducing: Sekiguchi contract without any complications.
Table of contents
Marathon Introducing: Sekiguchi contract walkthrough
The Introducing: Sekiguchi contract can be broken down into the following two tasks.
How to inject Necrotic Sample in southern Flight Control
To complete the first task, head to the Flight Control POI in Outpost. If you're at the exact spot as marked on the map, you'll find a building with a red door. Enter the door, and take the stairs to your left. This will lead you to the second floor, and the quest marker will pop up.
Follow the marker, and you'll find your Necrotic Sample. Once you add the Sample, it will cause damage over time. Hence, keep some healing items in your inventory.
How to scan your shell in the southeastern Orientation
From the Flight Control in the western part of the map, head to the eastern part of the map. If you're at the marked spot, turn left and take the stairs. Then turn right and go straight through the first door. Keep traveling straight, and you'll find a walkway.
Reach the end of the walkway, and you'll have the quest marker pop up. Reach the spot, complete the scan, and this will finish the Introducing: Sekiguchi contract.
Once done, it will open up the Sekiguchi faction for you. You can then access all its upgrades and sponsored kits.

Slay the Spire 2 isn't your typical deckbuilder, where you don't have to take care of your health.
While there are five different characters to pick from, none of them is immortal. They will all take damage, and they will perish if you're not careful. Taking damage is inevitable; no matter what you do, you'll always end up receiving damage.
What matters is whether you're healing your character at the correct moments.
How to heal in Slay the Spire 2
Healing is a premium activity in Slay the Spire 2. You can't heal whenever you want, and restoring HP comes at a price. You'll occasionally come across Rest Spots that appear as a campfire on your path. These spots can be found only sporadically, so you'll need to plan carefully. Their locations on every run is compeltely random.
When you're at the spot, you'll have two different options: Rest or Smith. If you choose the latter, you can improve a card by applying different upgrades. If you choose the former, you'll be able to recover a percentage of your character's lost health.
You can also find different Relics and consumables on your run, and some of them might allow you to restore HP. Potions are one-time use, and you can have a maximum of three at a time. This method isn't a guaranteed solution since all runs are random. It could happen that you might be unable to find an applicable Relic or consumable.
Slay the Spire 2 has five characters, and one of them has a healing ability. The Ironclad's default relic, the Burning Blood, allows you to recover 6 HP at the end of combat. This is an extremely useful relic to have, which ranks him well on our characters' tier list.
Outside of these methods, there's no other way to recover HP and restore the health of your character in Slay the Spire 2. The same methods also apply if you're playing co-op with your friends.

Marathon is finally out. After experiencing the server slam, tens of thousands considered the game worthy of their attention and have since hopped into the Tau Ceti system, ready to rake in some cash for nightmarish interstellar megacorporations.
But the game's matchmaking system is rather ambiguous, and it isn't very clear as to how people are matched with each other, nor if the headcount of your party impacts your matchmaking experience.
So, here is everything you need to know about Marathon's duos matchmaking.
Marathon duos matchmaking, explained
As things stand, Marathon does not have a dedicated duos matchmaking mode. The game, much like ARC Raiders at launch, released with an exclusive trios matchmaking mode, designed to match parties of three against each other.
Players can queue up alone or in duos by disabling the party fill option during matchmaking. However, they will still be matched against trios, and it seems the game doesn't take your party size into consideration when creating a lobby, as opposed to ARC Raiders' system. I've run several solo matches so far (and the Rook shell is literally made to be played in solos) and have been met with teams of three countless times.
I also ran into solo players, so there is no rule to the matchmaking, it seems.
Although there is no duo queue in the game at the moment, Bungie confirmed that it has "heard" player feedback and requests regarding duos matchmaking and has passed the information to the development team for consideration. Odds are that a duo queue mode will be added to the game very soon, given that it's one of the most popular matchmaking modes in just about every title that has competitive play.
In the meantime, Marathon can still be enjoyed by a couple of friends, who will have to face off with bigger parties, which is only a downside if you don't look at it as an extra challenge and, in turn, an opportunity to hone your skills as runners.
