PAX East 2021 Becoming PAX Online 2021
Both ReedPop and Penny Arcade made a statement today that PAX East 2021 has been cancelled, and PAX Online 2021 will occur from July 15 to July 18.
According to ReedPop's PAX Event Director Kyle Marsden-Kish, the change was made due to ongoing public health concerns. No tickets or space to exhibitors was sold up to this point, and their utmost concern is the safety of the PAX family. Both groups will only move forward with a live PAX once they are determined that things will be safe for all.
However, both ReedPop and Penny Arcade are cautiously optimistic that both PAX West and PAX Unplugged will proceed as planned. Those two events are scheduled for September 3-6 and December 10-12, respectively.
For those who'd like to learn more about the event, you can see a look back at PAX East 2019 with the following video released by the official pennyarcadeTV YouTube channel:

With a crystal sword at their side, players will be able to defy the laws of gravity with the release of Soulflee's runner Miska's Cave. Challenging gameplay and immense rewards await – should players get ready to explore its depths?
Miska's Cave Review
In an attempt to escape the titular cave, players must constantly run their way through a gauntlet of enemies. The path to victory is certainly not easy; magicians, bombs, spiked foes, and countless other threats prove to be a thorn in Miska's side through and through.
However, there are a handful of ways to get an edge. Miska possesses a jump that can shoot her in any direction of her choosing. About to face certain doom on the ground? No problem at all – simply jump up to land on the ceiling. This mechanic, mapped to the left mouse button, works well when pointing with the mouse. In a game that is all about accuracy, movement works as it should.
For those who would rather go on the offensive, Miska packs a few tools in her repertoire. A crystal sword can slash away at foes, but it is not a silver bullet as one would think. Timing is absolutely crucial, as the range is limited and there can be an opening with a poorly timed strike. This might seem like an added element of danger that is out to thwart the player, but it proves to be a welcome addition that encourages smart play. As a result, players must be "in the zone" if they want to travel any distance.
Along the way, players can meet a cast and crew of different people that can offer up different perks and modes. Featuring such roles as "Trainer," "Musician," "Reviver," and "Pimp Rat" (no, really), players will be able to access leaderboards, alternate difficulty settings and modes, betting, and upgrade perks. It doesn't take terribly long to get the entire ensemble, but collecting the crystals needed to unlock everything will take far more time. From double jumps to magic bullets, each of the things players can unlock greatly change the flow of play and are welcome additions.
If anything, just be warned that the endless mode can end sooner rather than later. By default, players can only take two hits before their character bites the dust. In addition, the threats players will come across from playthrough to playthrough, meaning that one run might be far more streamlined than others.
Other than the aforementioned unlockable leaderboard, there is a healthy amount of achievements to keep players going. Meters traveled, enemies defeated, caves unlocked, and challenges completed might all seem par for the course, but they do encourage players to keep coming back for that coveted 100% completion rate.
Miska's Cave is a simple game at its core, but its checklist of challenges and wealth of unlockables will keep players running along.

Where To Find Monster Broth In Monster Hunter Rise
You need Monster Broth for the Thick, Gooey Dango quest in MH Rise. This guide on Where To Find Monster Broth In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you how to track down the illusive bug that drops this rare material as although the bug can be tracked down easily, the drop is not a guarantee.
Thick, Gooey, Dango is another quest that requires you to find specific ingredients in order for the Canteen to stock more varieties of Dango, the kebab style foot that you devour before each and every hunt. There's likely multiple places to find Monster Goo, you also need Fertile Mud but that's far easier to get, however we have currently only discovered one source of Monster Goo, the Bnahabra.
Where To Find Monster Broth In Monster Hunter Rise
The Bnahabra is a small flying insect creature that can be found in the Shrine Ruins. As always, with these gathering quests, it's a good idea to do them during an Expedition so you're not struggling with time limits during other hunts. You can find Bnahabra in Zone 11 and Zone 12 in the Shrine Ruins.
They are easy to spot and both areas are usually free of other monsters but they can of course appear there sometimes. Take down the Bnahabra, they only take a few swings, and then harvest their body.
The drop rate does appear to be very low, approximately 10-15%. As such, it can take quite a few kills before you can finish the quest. They do respawn, so you don't have to leave and re-enter the Expedition, but it can take 3-4 minutes. If you don't want to explore in that time, wait 2-3 minutes, then run to area 12 and back again. They should respawn.

Where To Find The Gargwa Eggs In Monster Hunter Rise
The Egg-cellent Idea quest requires a delivery of 2x Gargwa Eggs. This guide on Where To Find The Gargwa Eggs In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you where you must go to be able to farm Gargwa Eggs so you can get two of them, run them all the way back to camp, and deliver them to complete the quest.
The Gargwa is a bird-like creature that spawns frequently in the Shrine Ruins map. Delivery requests require you to find the item, pick it up, and escort it back to the main camp before placing it in the items box at that location. If you are hit along the way, you will drop the egg. As they can be long and frustrating requests, it's best to do these in Expeditions so there's no time limit, and you're not hindering other players efforts to take down a monster.
Where To Find The Gargwa Eggs In Monster Hunter Rise
There is a very small chance that Gargwa can appear in zone 1 of the Shrine Ruins. I've seen it a number of times during quests but after restarting an Expedition about 15 times, it never occurred, which means it's very rare and likely not a feasible method of completing this delivery quest.
You can find them in area 13, to the South of the waterfall, where I am standing in the image above. To get the eggs from the Gargwa, you have to hit them, but it's not a 100% drop. Once you hit them, they will flee and vanish. This means it's very likely you will have to respawn and try again. You can also look further South down the river, a few more can spawn there.
If you find multiple Gargwa in the same area, you can hit them all and the eggs will remain until you return. Make sure you hit the normal colored Gargwa. There's a yellow one but it only drops a Gold Gargwa Egg, which is worth more Account Points but doesn't count towards the quest objective.

Where To Find The Rhenoplos Egg In Monster Hunter Rise
Delivering a Rhenopolos Egg is the objective for the Bunny Dango-with Eggs! quest in MH Rise. This guide on Where To Find The Rhenoplos Egg In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you exactly where to go to track down the egg so you can safely deliver it and complete the quest.
Delivery quests have always been a bit of a pain in Monster Hunter games and while Monster Hunter Rise has introduced some mechanics to lighten the load, they can still be quite frustrating and boring at times – especially if you're hit on the journey and end up dropping the egg. However, you can now use the Wirebugs to travel so you can avoid other monsters and get the egg back to base.
Where To Find The Rhenoplos Egg In Monster Hunter Rise
This can be done in any mission but I would suggest loading up an Expedition for A Tour of the Plains so you can have an infinite amount of time exploring the Sandy Plains, this is where you will find a Rhenoplos nest and therefore an egg. Make sure you are NOT in High Rank. This is very important as you will get a Rhenoplos Egg+, which does not count for the quest. You need to be in low rank. You need to head to the location shown above. Head to Location 11 and drop down into the caverns below, you'll see the nest resting alongside a large pillar.
Grab the egg from the nest and then take it back to your primary camp, then place it in the box. It's actually called a Herbivore Egg in Low Rank but it will complete the quest.

Where To Find Cohoot For Photograph In Monster Hunter Rise
Flying Billboards is another photography quest in MH Rise. This guide on Where To Find Cohoot For Photograph In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you how to track down a Cohoot, one that's in a very accessible and very easy to discover location, yet took me hours to find.
Monster Hunter Rise has unique names for everything. Cats aren't cats, dogs aren't dogs, and monster names are nearly impossible to pronounce, or maybe that's just me? Anyway, for everyone else, I'm sure they are aware that the Cohoot is the owl-like creature that you're given very early in the game and encounter quite frequently when you're running around the village.
Where To Find Cohoot For Photograph In Monster Hunter Rise
If you've been paying much attention whilst running around the village you would've spotted a small Cohoot sitting atop a wall. If you didn't, don't worry, I missed it as well. It's at the stairs leading up to Fugen The Elder. Simply whip out your camera, make sure the Cohoot is in the frame, and then snap a picture. That will complete the quest.

Where To Get More Lagniapple In Monster Hunter Rise
Lagniapples are a rare and valuable buddy resource. This guide on Where To Get More Lagniapple In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you the only method we've currently discovered that allows you to collect more Lagniapples that can be used on both Meowcenaries and Argosy Trade Requests.
Lagniapples are a very rare material and seem to be exclusively used in features relating to buddies searching for items. When you are accessing the interact for both the Argosy and the Meowcenaries, there is a special option available if you press X. This will allow you to place very specific food items to provide bonuses to either the submarine or kite adventure.
Where To Get More Lagniapple In Monster Hunter Rise
Whether you use the Lagniapple in the Argosy or in the Meowcenaries, the effect is very much in the same. It will greatly increase the effort in which your buddies explore. If you are doing Meowcenaries, it will give you the full 5 star chance of success – assuming you have enough buddies of the appropriate level to reach 4 stars. In the Argosy, it will give you double effect on your bargains. This allows your buddies to gather much quicker and grab more valuable items at the same time.
Unfortuantely, Lagniapples are very rare. So far, we have only found two methods of obtaining more Lagniapples, questing with buddies and Meowcenaries high rank. Every few quests you will get an alert that someone wants to speak with you in the village. Head to the buddy area and speak with Buddy Expert Shirubei – if he has a speech bubble over his head. The rewards do vary but this is the only place we've found Lagniapples so far.
- Lagniapples can boost the efforts of both the Argosy and Meowcenaries buddy features
- It can speed up gathering times or increase chances of obtaining rare items
- Lagniapples can be obtained from Buddy Expert Shirubei every X number of buddy quests
- It's not a guaranteed reward, but it does come every so often
