Want to know how to complete all of the Fortnite punchcard challenges? For those who weren't around when punchcards last appeared in Fortnite, they provide a series of challenges to be tackled in a particular order. Fortnite punchcards fall into two different categories: daily and weekly punchcards, and character punchcards.
Each character punchcard has five challenges for you to complete, with each one appearing straight after the first one is complete. You can only follow up to five questlines at a time, so look at the Fortnite NPCs locations to find out where to pick up another questline after you've finished all five in one batch.
You may wish to plan to complete several of these challenges in one go, so here are all of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 punchcard challenges in the game. Some quests refer to a new area called the Sideways, which has all sorts of nasty creatures inside. There's a ton to go through right now, and more quests will appear when more NPCs appear in the game - this week sees Shadow Ops join the list.
RELATED LINKS: Fortnite V-Bucks, Fortnite Skins, Fortnite Creative CodesWant to know where the Fortnite NPCs are? Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 is now live, and it's all change for how quests work, as Fortnite punchcards return. Punchcards are obtained from Fortnite NPCs and each contains a series of quests for you to complete.
Each of the Fortnite NPC punchcards has five quests you need to complete to finish their questline, some of which ask you to go into The Sideways. Luckily, you only need to talk to these NPCs once to begin their questline, though since you only have five punchcard slots, you can only pick up five questlines at once. Once you've completed a questline, you are free to find one of the other NPCs and start their punchcard quests.
NPCs don't just give out quests. They also have items for sale, taking gold bars as payment. Some of these items are vital to complete quests, so it's worth remembering where they are. To help you out, we've put together a guide to all the Fortnite NPCs locations. There's already a hint that Epic will add more NPCs to the map soon, so do check back often to see if there is anyone new to find throughout the season.

Ubisoft has revealed that you can get the Assassin's Creed Chronicles trilogy for nothing through its storefront. The deal goes live today (November 9) on Ubisoft Connect at 9am local time and is hanging around until 10am on November 12.
The first entry in the Chronicles saga takes place in 1526 China as the Ming dynasty begins to crumble. You play as the last remaining assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood, Shao Jun, who is returning to her homeland with a vendetta. The second game takes us to colonial-era India, where we play as a character called Embody Arbaaz, who is also looking for retribution. We then wrap things up in revolution-era Russia for the third game, where we join Nikolaï Orelov in his search for redemption.
While all three of these stories are separate, they do have some similar threads running through them. Aside from featuring characters looking to redeem themselves, each game features a 2.5D art style that gives them a striking appearance. Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India has a vibrant colour palette, while the Russian entry into the series has a contemporary propaganda-inspired aesthetic.
Update - November 9, 2021: Breakwaters has now been delayed to December 9, so we've updated this story.
There's always something neat coming up on Steam, and this week there are several much-anticipated treats headed to Valve's storefront. Among Trees and Bright Memory: Infinite are two that have gone well over the 20k mark in Steam wishlists, and they're due to drop in the coming days.
Among Trees is the first. This is a gorgeous survival game that takes players into an enchanted forest to try their luck at, well, surviving it. The forest itself is a living world full of places to explore, from dense woodland to spooky caves and more open pastures to roam. It's got a gentle, colourful hue and a painterly vibe - but this belies the perils that lurk in the outdoors, with dangerous animals stalking about.
You take refuge in a cabin that "grows with you". You build new rooms to unlock corresponding mechanics, like cooking, gardening, crafting, and so on. You can grow your own veggies and make friends with some of the less-threatening critters around. Among Trees is developed and published by FJRD Interactive and launches on November 10.
Monitors are arguably the centrepiece of any PC setup, especially since they act portals to our favourite games. Sure, RGB clad gaming PC sitting by its side is doing most of the leg work, but using a sub-par display could completely misrepresent the experience and disrupt any sense of immersion. Thankfully, while the best gaming monitors can be expensive, you can beat this year's Black Friday sales and save 26% off the LG Ultragear 27GN800-B, a panel that boasts great visuals, performance, and a stylish aesthetic to boot.
Over on Amazon US, the 27-inch model of LG's Ultragear monitor currently has $103 off, bringing its price down from $399.99 to $296.99. However, don't let its discounted price tag fool you, as this gaming PC panel packs a punch, with a 1440p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, and an ultra-thin bezel that's sure to impress gaming room visitors.
Amazon UK customers can also grab a great deal on LG's Ultragear display, with 20% bringing things down to a pleasing £279.97. Of course, discounts like this mean you can also overhaul your audio setup with the best Black Friday gaming headset deals.

If you want to relax and create mouth-watering masterpieces, or challenge your friends to some kitchen chaos, the wonderful world of cooking games and restaurant games doesn't disappoint.
You don't have to be a dab hand in the kitchen to work your way around these cooking games. If, like us, your dinner guests smile politely through a plate of charred chicken and accomplishing the perfection of a Gordon Ramsey special seems like a distant dream, then these games are a much more satisfying way to scratch that cooking itch.
The cooking game genre specifically focuses on restaurant management and whipping up recipes has taken a bit of a backseat since the release of Overcooked 2. Many management games and simulation games incorporate cooking as part of the experience, such as farming in Stardew Valley or setting the kitchen alight in the Sims. So, if you're after a more authentic cooking game then look no further as we've collated a list of the best cooking games on PC from time management to puzzlers.
You may remember a few months ago when we spotted a Civilization fan who was remaking Civ VI's wonders in Minecraft, and it seems the Civilization x Minecraft fan crossovers are not over yet. User Karlusha has stepped up to the plate, making nearly 150 recreations of Civilization VI infrastructure builds on the mini-plots in the popular crafting game.
As far as Minecraft builds go, these are certainly creative. Being able to recreate just one of the strategy game's 3D models in the game's blocky visual style is certainly no easy feat, and Karlusha has done 147, with a further nine terrain tiles. They've then combined some of them to create more intricate builds of connecting squares, with roads and bridges linking everything together where needed.
Karlusha stated that it took them around a month to complete this set, working on "small portions in spare time". I guess this is one way to pass the time while we wait for Civilization 7 to turn up. We're not the only ones showing our appreciation either - plenty of other denizens of the r/civ subreddit have also shared their admiration for Karlusha's work as well.

But with a wide range of gaming chairs from renowned companies like Razer, Secretlab, and Vertagear, where should you start?
When you think of a gaming chair, you probably picture a racing-style bucket seat. This is all because DXRacer, a well-known American company in the gaming chair space, began the trend in 2006 when automobile sales took a nosedive and it made up for a loss of earnings by repurposing sports car seats into office chairs. Popularity then grew as they became a staple in the setups of streamers and esports players, and it's not hard to see why, with great back support, comfort, and extensive adjustability.
Bucket seats aren't the only style of gaming chair you can choose from nowadays, though, and with more people working and playing games from home right now, long periods at the best gaming desk make back health more important than ever. Plus, let's not forget, they just look cool too, and with crazy designs like Noblechairs' Elder Scrolls-themed gaming chair, the possibilities are endless.
RELATED LINKS: Best SSD for gaming, How to build a gaming PC, Best gaming CPUAfter ten years we might have expected the time of Dark Souls to be fading, like the age of fire in the game itself. One of the reasons it and its console-exclusive predecessor, Demon's Souls, made the impact they did was that they felt refreshingly different from anything else on the market at the time. Now they're familiar, and many of the mechanics that made them stand out have been compartmentalised and interpreted by hundreds of other studios. 'Soulslikes' are now part of the gaming establishment.
Yet the flame burns brightly, and the term 'Soulslike' is still enough to pique interest. FromSoftware's continuing efforts to rejig their own formula with Bloodborne, Sekiro, and perhaps most radically with Elden Ring, have helped fan the flames. But the continuing allure of Souls has also been aided by other studios, from all around the world, creating Souls-inspired games that combine original visions with the challenges and atmosphere we crave.
One of the most prominent studios is Deck13, best known for Lords of the Fallen, The Surge, and its sequel. The Frankfurt-based studio's action-RPG roots go back further, however, to 2009's Venetica, and its subsequent work has built on the foundations it established back then, while weaving in specific Soulslike elements.
We now know what Lies of P's gameplay looks like, and it's suitably creepy for a Pinocchio-inspired game that takes several cues from Souls-likes. Neowiz and Round8 Studio released some gameplay footage on YouTube, showing off combat, the city of Krat, and some very aged and spooky puppets.
The trailer starts with a few shots of zombie-like marionettes dragging their bodies across the ruined city of Krat. The setting has a gothic, Victorian London aesthetic that wouldn't look out of place in Bloodborne - just with a lot more puppets. On the more gruesome side, we even see some puppets beating the limbs off the corpses of some fallen humans.
Eventually, Pinocchio takes to the streets to dismember some puppets. He wields several weapons, from a sword to a heavier, giant axe, and can also use gadgets like a flamethrower and grappling hook. You've also got other Souls-like moves, such as dodging, parrying, and blocking. The trailer ends with a shot of a boss fight, though we don't see the two duke it out.

Developer DaveNW has given us an idea of the changes the team has in mind, explaining that the devs' "initial focus will be in weapon swapping, dodge cancels, and attack input windows" - and the proposed tweaks sound like they'll make a really helpful difference to battling in Aeternum.
First up, one area the New World devs are currently working on is the responsiveness of swapping weapons and ensuring the consistency of this across all of the game's attacks, as the team wants switching between weapons to be "an integral and fluid part of combat". The dev explains that, currently, players might often end up attacking with the weapon they've currently got equipped having thought they'd swapped weapons - but then that not being the case.
The dev doesn't go into detail on how the team will address this, but does say, "we are working to fix these situations and expand when you are able to swap your weapon".

Sledgehammer Games' WWII themed release will integrate with Warzone in December 2021, introducing new weapons, vehicles, and a brand new WWII map set to replace '80s Verdansk. The new map is called Caldera, and it's going to launch with Vanguard and Warzone Season 1.
Black Ops Cold War fully integrated with the battle royale game at the beginning of Season 3 with the release of '80s Verdansk, five months after its November launch. There were a number of issues with the Cold War integration that took a while to fix: popular weapons were completely unbalanced for months, attachments didn't function like they were supposed to, and weapon balancing on Modern Warfare weapons completely stopped.
A recent Call of Duty blog post broke down everything coming to Warzone less than a month after Vanguard launches. There are plenty of in-game events on the run up to Warzone Pacific, so stay tuned for more information. Here's everything we know about the new Warzone map so far.

It wouldn't be a Ground Breaking update if you weren't actually able to break some ground. The new update will allow you to manipulate the very earth beneath your feet, creating new strategic possibilities for ground troops. Bombs and large calibre guns will now leave craters in the ground for units to hide in, while certain tanks equipped with dozer blades can push the earth around to dig out trenches for their allies to hide behind. This new change will add a whole new layer of strategy to every match, so start planning your terrain tactics now.

Whether you're looking to hunt the Mesozoic monsters or want to stomp and chomp humans while playing as them, the appeal of dinosaurs in gaming is endless. What is not endless, however, is the number of games that successfully realise that fantasy. Let's be honest: until recently, fans of dinosaurs and big guns haven't exactly walked the primrose path, even on PC.
It's been a long hard road, marked by velociraptors that look like lumpy dogs, rifles that feel as satisfying as lobbing a bullet by hand, and jeeps that seem to magnetically roll themselves into a nearby ditch, no matter what keys you press. Still, the undeniable lure of blasting a T-Rex in the face with a grenade launcher continues to resonate with a great portion of the gaming public, and while few triple-A developers have proffered quality dino games, there are a few ambitious indie dinosaur games that fill the gap in the market.
If dino thrills are what you're looking for, here are the best dinosaur games on PC.

Strapping into an overpowered robot filled to the brim with rockets and lasers is a power fantasy as old as anime itself. Classic shows from the '80s and '90s - like Mobile Suit Gundam and Neon Genesis Evangelion - popularised the mecha anime genre, and helped fan the flames of the larger mech fandom. Considering that those anime were themselves inspired by manga written in the '40s and '50s, the appeal of oversized robot combat spans generations.
Robot games have a robust history rich in a variety of genres, ensuring that there's an experience for every kind of mech fan. Fancy yourself a gearhead with a penchant for the micromanagement of mech parts and deliberate, laboured robo combat? How do you feel about fast-paced, anime-inspired Voltron-style action? Good news: there's a game for you.
The bad news is that there might actually be too much choice. But never fear, because we've compiled this list of the twelve best robot games available to play on PC, and have taken special care to represent as many different genres as possible. Picking the very best racing games on PC is no easy task. So many elements contribute: the genre's not only about graphical fidelity and hair-raising sound design - though both certainly help - it's also about pulling you into the action as if you're there in the driver's seat, eyes strained as the asphalt whips past at 240kph. From honing your timing for a perfect gear shift to kicking out the back-end for a sublime drift, a quality racing game just feels right.

When versions of those games surface on Steam or GOG, we'll be the first in line to play them again… and inevitably find they haven't aged as well as we hoped. So for those of you who are just looking to hop in and fire up the engine of a superb racer, whether that's an intricate sim or an arcade thriller, we've got some breakneck PC racers for you.
Trying to find the best QBZ loadout in Warzone? The QBZ-83 was added to Warzone alongside the rest of the Cold War guns, but it never managed to make a big splash at launch. The QBZ was originally intended to be used like the FFAR - an assault rifle with high mobility and accuracy at the cost of damage.
When equipped with the perfect set of attachments, you can increase the damage output and effective damage range on the QBZ while maintaining its biggest strengths. This weapon is highly effective on Rebirth Island due to the smaller size of the map, but there's nothing stopping you from bringing it with you to Verdansk.
If you're looking for a FFAR replacement to take you into the battle royale game, the QBZ is your best bet. Time will tell whether the QBZ becomes one of the best Warzone guns, but it seems like this could be one of the new best assault rifles in Warzone. Here's everything you need to build the best QBZ loadout in Warzone.
The Titan Evo 2022 Series is Secretlab's long-awaited upgrade to its popular 2020 series, and comes with a bevy of upgrades, including upgraded ergonomics, chair material, and even a magnetic head cushion. No more fiddling about with straps - it simply sticks to the chair magically. Beautiful.
I wouldn't describe myself as a titan, which is perhaps why I struggled to lift the giant box up three flights of stairs to my flat. If you're getting a sturdy new gaming chair of any kind, you're in for a bit of a wrangle, but at >35kg the chair itself is a little heavier than many of its ilk, so be warned. There's no shame in opening the box and carrying up the stairs piece by piece, no matter the look in your neighbour's eyes.
Fortunately, you don't need a titanic sized brain to put the chair together. There's a large pictographic guide and companion video guide, and the pieces all slot together with minimal fuss. Everything you need to build it is in the box. Once assembled, it looks magnificent - there are 107 variations available to choose from according to the Secretlab website, with options to match all tastes, though I am particularly impressed with the hybrid leatherette which is super-sleek and still looks brand new after several weeks of constant use.

Want to build the best Type 100 loadout in Call Of Duty: Vanguard? The Type 100 is currently overlooked a bit in favour of the higher-damage MP-40, but I'm here to strongly recommend you give it a go. Don't be dissuaded by the Type 100's low damage-per-shot: with the sright attachments, this gun's one real downside can be turned into its greatest strength.
Below we'll walk you through how to put together the very best Type 100 loadout in Vanguard, going into detail about what each attachment does for you and how everything works together to turn the Type 100 into one of the most formidable weapons in the game. We'll also talk about great weapons to pair it with, and the ideal perks and equipment to use in the perfect Type 100 loadout.
Want to know the best Automaton loadout in Call Of Duty: Vanguard? The Automaton has an effective damage range that rivals the BAR, but its overall damage is much lower. However, to make up for the lower damage, it has a fast fire rate that makes it a strong Assault Rifle at any range. This Call Of Duty: Vanguard Automaton loadout will sacrifice some of that speed to increase the damage range, accuracy, and control, making it more effective at medium-long range.
If you've played a Call Of Duty campaign in the last decade, Call Of Duty: Vanguard doesn't bring anything new to the ride. This is a familiar World War 2 funfair, where you're steered through artillery strikes and down swathes of enemies like its whack-a-mole. By the time you get off, it's all blurred into one forgettable experience. How could you emerge shellshocked, when you've seen it all before?
Playground Games will add sign language interpreters to Forza Horizon 5's cinematics, adding to an already long list of accessibility features. The devs are currently working American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) support, which will come to the game sometime soon. They'ved also detailed a number of accessibility options the game has from launch today, including screen reading, game speed modification and more.
Want to know the best Volk loadout in Call Of Duty: Vanguard? The Volk is one of the best Assault Rifles in Call Of Duty: Vanguard, but you'll need some attachments to unlock its full potential. At first, the recoil is sharp and it is only effective at short range. With this loadout, we drastically improve the accuracy and recoil control of the Volk, whilst also slightly increasing its effective damage range and fire rate to make it capable of ripping through enemies at short-medium range. Of course, as Call Of Duty: Vanguard season 1 draws closer, we expect the meta to change significantly, so this guide will receive regular updates with any new info about the Volk.
You could argue Playground Games have just made essentially the same game at least three times in a row with Forza Horizon now, but while every previous edition had a few things you could point at to show how it was imperfect, you can't do that here. Forza Horizon 5 is as close to flawless as any racer has ever come. For this level of quality to successfully cover such a massive and ambitious game world is a monumental achievement and should be celebrated with some kind of festival. A festival of driv… OK, yes, you should celebrate by playing it. That'll do just fine.
