The best Armaguerra 43 loadout in Warzone Pacific

Want to unlock the Armaguerra 43 in Warzone Pacific? In case you missed it, Warzone Pacific Season 2 introduced a new dangerous chemical named Nebula V. This substance produces the same deadly gas players see when the circle collapses. If you manage to land one shot using Nebula V-infused bullets, a downed enemy becomes a ticking time bomb for their teammates. Upon revival, the downed enemy releases toxic gas, slowly draining their squad' health.

It's going to be very difficult knocking the MP40 and Welgun off the top spots on our best SMGs in Warzone Pacific list, but we believe in the best Armaguerra 43 loadout. The Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded makes huge changes to the battle royale game by merging Vanguard Royale with the Battle Royale, creating one unified playlist.

The stock version of the Armaguerra 43 features an extremely high rate of fire - if we can address the recoil on this weapon, there's a good chance it could become one of the best guns in Warzone. Here's what you need to build the best Armaguerra 43 loadout in Warzone Pacific.

The best OTs 9 loadout in Warzone Pacific

Searching for the best OTs 9 loadout in Warzone? Compared to the best SMGs in Warzone, the OTs 9 features some of the lowest recoil we've ever seen from this type of weapon. This does come at a cost, however, as the OTs 9 has been designed to use relatively small magazines.

Our loadout focuses on the SMG's strengths, ensuring the weapon has extremely low recoil while extending the damage range to make the best OTs 9 loadout effective from further distances. If you're looking for a strong secondary weapon to use on Caldera or Rebirth Island, the OTs 9 definitely needs to be considered as it's a fantastic SMG pick. Use this weapon alongside the best EM2 loadout to crush enemies at close to mid range.

To unlock the OTs 9, you must complete the following challenge: using SMGs, kill two or more players rapidly in 15 different completed matches. The easiest way to do this in Warzone is to play Plunder - this mode allows players to quit mid-match once you have secured a double kill. If you can find players easily, this method shouldn't take longer than an hour at most. Alternatively, purchase the Inside Job weapon bundle in the store for 1200 CoD Points.

Diablo 2, but the demons are from Asian folklore

Ghostlore is a self-stylised 'eastpunk' action-RPG that takes monsters from southeast-Asian folklore and sticks them in a gameplay experience inspired by Diablo 2 and Titan Quest. You've got an item and character customisation system, procedurally generated maps, and nostalgic 2D isometric art. The indie game is launching in Steam Early Access today if that has sold you. If you'd like to know more, though, then stay awhile and listen.

The world takes inspiration from developers Andrew and Adam Teo's home country of Singapore, alongside other neighbouring lands like Malaysia and Indonesia. While it's notable in the Ghostlore's architecture, it's especially present in the food, which you can gobble down to boost your stats. The real treat, though, is the demons. The Penanggal, for example, is a monster from Malay folklore that "comprises nothing more than a disembodied head and dangling entrails".

Ghostlore has some excellent build potential, too. You can mix and match abilities from three-out-of-six character classes to create something truly busted. The Adept is your martial artist, the Hashashin is an assassin who relies on speed, and the Sentinel can communicate with animals, to name a few of them.

Ballads of Hongye is a gorgeous Chinese-themed city builder

Ballads of Hongye's newly-released alpha trailer immediately commands attention with its stunning Chinese architecture and flashy UI. Developer Seasun Games has announced the alpha test, starting on April 18, with a rather eye-catching showing. This upcoming city builder aims to showcase ancient Chinese architecture with a wealth of beautifully animated buildings based on historical Chinese designs.

As the magistrate of your town, you are tasked with racing against time to complete objectives in order to expand and upgrade your settlement. Ballad of Hongye places a focus on time-limited challenges, and should you not manage to complete your agreements in time then the potential resources will be lost.

Challenges will offer players a randomly generated building plan, setting out the buildings and industry that must be used in order to complete the task successfully. Players will also have to contend with seasonal weather as well as natural disasters such as plagues, droughts, and famines. Of course, there will be plenty of potential ways to contend with these issues by building appropriate infrastructure such as fire stations and the intriguingly named Insect Rack.

CD Projekt Red delays Witcher 3 next-gen upgrade indefinitely

The Witcher 3 next-gen upgrade has suffered yet another delay, with publisher CD Projekt Red announcing the news via the official Witcher Twitter account. Worse still, CDPR has said that it has taken the decision to postpone the update's release date "until further notice."

CD Projekt Red states the reason for the postponement of the Witcher 3 next-gen upgrade is due to development responsibilities moving away from Sabre Interactive to its own in-house team. "We are currently evaluating the scope of work to be done," says CDPR, "and thus have to postpone Q2 release until further notice."

It's currently unclear why CD Projekt Red has now assumed responsibility for the Witcher 3 next-gen upgrade, but it's possible that both it and Saber Interactive felt it was the best direction for the project. For now, we'll just have to take CDPR's word that it'll provide an update "as soon as it can" following its evaluation of what's left to wrap up.

The best Bullfrog Warzone Pacific loadout

Looking for the best Bullfrog loadout in Warzone Pacific? The meta in Warzone is constantly evolving, and the Bullfrog is emerging as one of the best Warzone SMGs. When paired with the right attachments, this weapon can hold almost as many bullets as an LMG while maintaining the same accuracy and mobility you would expect from a fully automatic SMG.

The best Mac-10 loadout was such a staple of the battle royale game for so long that barely anyone thought to give this Call of Duty Cold War gun a try. Not only does the best Bullfrog loadout dominate at close range, it does an impressive job at medium distances thanks to its impressive damage range.

Now that the community has tried out the Bullfrog, it's easy to see why everyone is picking this weapon. The fact that this weapon is a close rival to the Kilo 141 assault rifle says so much about the DPS of this SMG. Though the Bullfrog lacks the same damage of some of the other SMGs, its impressive mobility, fast fire rate, and high bullet velocity more than makes up for it.

The Elder Scrolls Online is free-to-play for under two weeks

If you've ever fancied wandering the lands of Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online, you can now do so for free over the coming two weeks. The MMORPG removed its mandatory subscription back in 2015, instead opting for an optional premium subscription, but still requires an initial purchase to play. However, from now until Tuesday, April 26 at 15pm BST (10am EDT) players will be able to start their adventure for free.

The free-to-play event grants access to both the base game (including Battlegrounds and PvP) and the Morrowind DLC's Vvardenfell area. It will also allow players to partake in this year's Legacy of the Bretons adventure and play the High Isle Prologue quest line which sets up for the new High Isle chapter due to arrive in June, though you will have to purchase the full game after the free trial period ends if you wish to continue your adventures into High Isle itself.

Bethesda pitches 2022's Legacy of the Bretons adventure as "classic Elder Scrolls" featuring the traditional, medieval, feudal Breton society and a story taking place amongst a conflict known as the Three Banners War which is dividing the region of High Isle. If High Isle itself sounds unfamiliar to you, it's likely because it's an area never yet seen in an Elder Scrolls game - only ever previously having been documented by one map in Redguard.

Best sniper Warzone Pacific: the best sniper rifle Season 2 Reloaded

Want to know what the best sniper rifle is in Warzone Pacific? There are plenty of options to pick from in the battle royale game, but there's nothing quite as satisfying as a sniper rifle. While this weapon type used to be a certain pick for players back when Verdansk was around, that hasn't been the case since new Warzone map was introduced. That's not to say sniping is dead, far from it, but you do have to think carefully about your surroundings before calling in the best Warzone loadouts.

The latest Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded update drastically changes the playlists, merging Vanguard Royale and Battle Royale into one. This means that every weapon from Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War can be used in all modes. As a result, you should avoid picking the Vanguard options as they cannot compete with the best snipers in Warzone.

There are a lot of factors to consider, including which attachments you choose to equip your chosen Warzone sniper with, how confident you are at judging travel time, and what your peeking skills are like. We've analysed the lot to give you the definitive answer on which Warzone Pacific sniper is best for your playing style.

Genshin Impact events – all current and upcoming events

Want to know more about the upcoming Genshin Impact events? A new version of Genshin Impact arrives every six weeks, complete with new characters, quests, and events. It's difficult to keep track of which events are currently running and if there are any new ones coming soon, so here's a schedule for all current and upcoming Genshin Impact events.

There are usually a number of Genshin Impact events running simultaneously, and they aren't just in-game events. When a new Genshin Impact character joins the game, the devs launch a web event at the same time - players learn about the latest characters through an interactive story told through a web browser. The rewards for completing different events range from in-game items like primogems and mora, to real life prizes like mouse mats and plushies.

Just like the Genshin Impact banners, most events are only available for a limited time, so it's worth participating as soon as you can. New events are usually added to Genshin Impact after an update, but it's worth keeping an eye out on this page as the devs do like to surprise the community.

The best RPG games on PC in 2022

Looking for the best RPG games on PC? It's not an easy question to answer, especially given there are so many worthy candidates out there. That's not to mention the amount of time required to beat them - we're talking 50+ hours as the new normal these days, and they're only getting longer.

The diversity of RPG games nowadays is hard to express. Just in our selection below we've got interplanetary exploration, lightsaber duels, bloodthirsty vampires, irradiated mutants who need to be beaten with golf clubs, lizards who can talk to cats, and a whole lot of dice rolling if that's your jam. And that's not taking into consideration the spin-off genre that is turn-based RPGs, which marries the imagination and role-playing of RPGs with the tactical scale of many turn-based strategy games.

This is a stalawart PC genre that came into existence in the '70s, and videogame RPGs have changed a lot over the years. Their scale and scope is like never before, with tech finally catching up to the ambitions of developers enabling vast open worlds like never before. So, dear adventurer, please gather your party before we head out. We're about to bear witness to the best RPGs available on PC.

Here's the League of Legends 2022 patch schedule – all season 12 release dates

If you're a League of Legends fan, you'll know that the MOBA game regularly receives hefty patches full of new champion skins, balance changes, and more. These arrive roughly once every two weeks - usually mid-week - and get a good round of testing on League's public beta environment (PBE) over the fortnight or so leading up to their live debuts.

While they can vary in scale, with some patches ushering in significant new events and content while others focus more on a core set of adjustments to fine tune gameplay balancing, they're always a really important part of the game. As such, it's important for fans - veterans and newbies, alike - to get an idea of when each patch is coming, and what'll be in it when it drops. The good news is, we've got you covered.

Riot Games has now unveiled the League of Legends 2022 patch schedule, which kicks off with League of Legends patch 12.1 on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Below, we've laid out all of the release dates for the League of Legends patches coming up in 2022 for season 12, and when our regular patch notes go up we'll link them below, too, so you've got all you need to know in one place.

League of Legends patch 12.8 notes – Swain and Olaf update

League of Legends patch 12.8 notes are already offering plenty to eyeball, despite the new update only just hitting the PBE. While LoL patch 12.7 has just touched down on the live servers, Riot Games is wasting no time getting more content ready for the MOBA game as MSI draws near.

Patch 12.7 introduces Arcana skins for champions Ahri, Xayah, Rakan, Ryze, and Hecarim. If some flashy new duds aren't your thing, you'll want to check out the champion changes. While Riot has tweaked a few familiar faces, the most significant change comes to Zeri, who has got a total rework.

As for patch 12.8, though, things are already shaping up for a big update. You've got Solar Eclipse skins for Kayle, Sejuani, and Sivir; Lunar Eclipse skins for Aatrox and Senna; and other unique skins for Gangplank and Yasuo. We've also got our first peep at mid-scope tweaks for Olaf and Swain. It's still early doors for the patch, though, so keep checking back for more changes to eyeball.

AMD Zen 4 CPUs may benefit your overclocked DDR5 gaming PC

The first wave of DDR5 RAM doesn't seem to offer much of a performance uplift for your gaming PC compared to DDR4, but AMD Zen 4 CPUs might change that when they land on shelves later this year. AMD Memory Enabling Manager, Joseph Tao, says that the company's first DDR5-compatible platform, codenamed Raphael, is set to "make a big splash with overclocking" when it lands on shelves later this year.

Tao didn't go into a great amount of detail about AMD Zen 4 CPUs during the Meet the Experts webinar, simply teasing that "speeds that you maybe thought couldn't be possible may be possible with this overclocking spec." It's anyone's guess as to whether these improved speeds will have any affect on your games since memory frequencies aren't as influential as capacity, but it will involve diving into your motherboard's BIOS to tinker with timings.

AMD is a little behind, given Intel Alder Lake ushered in DDR5 RAM support at the end of 2021, but more time in the oven could be just what the platform needs to rise above its rival.

Of the four hulking Grey Knights under my command, teleporty sword boy was undoubtedly my favourite. Once every turn he could blink across the map, moving twice as far as he can with a regular action point, plopping him right behind a pesky Cultist's cone of suppressing fire. It was both effective and efficient, but the real fireworks began whenever I clicked teleport strike, which repositioned him while also savaging several enemies in sequence with his power sword. He was simultaneously my initiator and my (almost) one-man clean up crew, ready to be rallied by a cry from my Justicar whenever his AP tank ran empty. I almost felt sorry for the cultists.

I've played a curated, two hour slice of Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, and I'm keen to play more. As speedy as my sword boy felt in those moments, though, at other times I felt compelled to move forward at a crawl. When I asked creative director Noah Decter-Jackson whether I was just being too cowardly, he hedged his bets.

FixFox came out a couple of weeks back, and I am in the process of reviewing it. This process is, currently, one in suspended animation, and has been for longer than I anticipated. I moved just before the release and my PC is still somewhere in or about the Irish Sea. Luckily I can link this to FixFox thematically, as a big exciting incident for the story involves waking up a man who was stuck in a cryopod. Around that, you, a fox called Vix, fix things in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi future where your tools are bananas and stamps.

I was several hours into FixFox before I left it, and discovered it was much larger than I expected. It's paradoxically cosy and friendly even as its world is vast and strange. I had some minor annoyances with this - you do a lot of travelling around, and in the early stages of the game there aren't many fast travel options to mitigate this. But now I've been without it for two weeks, I've found myself missing the big spaces and warm welcomes of that world.

FGO 17M Downloads

Time to claim a powerful ally. Aniplex and Lasengle are distributing free 5-Star SSR Servants to all players in Fate/Grand Order as part of the FGO 17M Downloads Campaign. Designed to celebrate a total of 17 million downloads of the English edition of Fate/Grand Order, the publisher is issuing players a special ticket that lets them take their pick of any high-rarity playable Servant from a pool of 25 characters.

Starting at 9 p.m. PT on April 14, 2022, a 17M Downloads Celebration Ticket will go to any FGO player that has completed Section 1 of the First Singularity chapter (Orleans). From there, they can redeem it for any available Servant on offer. This includes copies of ones they already own. Grabbing a duplicate Servant is a valid strategy, as they can be consumed to enhance the Noble Phantasm of the player's existing character. The Selection of Servants is fairly wide, and includes several relatively recent additions to the roster, like Anastasia, Europa, Xiang Yu, and Ganesha.

There is, however, a catch to the promo. The FGO 17M Downloads Celebration Ticket entitles a player to their preferred Servant temporarily at first. To keep their SSR Servant permanently, they'll have to accomplish some objectives by June 15, 2022. That's plenty of time, though, as the objectives are simple and twofold. Players first need to "Ascend" their Servant at least once, and then reach a Bond Level of 5 with the Servant.

Ascension is the process of leveling up a Servant to its initial maximum level (Lv. 50 for 5-Star Servants), then consume some materials to raise the Servant's level cap. Even for a 5-Star Servant, this is a fairly low cost to pay for all but the newest players. As for Bond Level, Servants gain Bond Points as they participate in quests, and level up as they go. Bond Level 5 can be obtained over the course of a few days of daily questing or several main story quests. Upon meeting these conditions, the Servant is unlocked permanently. Players that already own a copy of the Servant they choose from the ticket will automatically complete the objectives, provided their existing Servant is already Ascended and at Bond Level 5 or higher.

Besides the free SSR Servant, the FGO 17M Downloads campaign also other giveaways planned. A social media campaign promises 30 Saint Quartz to all masters once its milestone is reached. A 7-day login bonus campaign will also give out Summon tickets and Servant enhancement materials.

Fate/Grand Order is available on Android and iOS. The FGO 17M Downloads Campaign  lasts until April 21, 2022.  Players that claim a free SSR character will have until June 15, 2022 to permanently unlock them. The anime adaptation of its Solomon chapter goes on sale in July 2022.

13 Sentinels Aegis Rim Switch launch celebrated with 1/16 scale mech display at Akihabara

A scale statue based on one of the mechs in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has appeared at JR Akihabara Station in Tokyo, Japan. Atlus placed it to promote the launch of the game's Nintendo Switch version in the country.

The statue is based on the 13th Sentinel. In the actual game, Juro Kurabe piloted this second-generation Sentinel. While the real-life statue is a 1/16 scale approximation of the mech, it still has a height of over 2 meters (~6'6.74"). Atlus placed the statue at the event space inside the station near the Electric Town Exit, so only people who actually travel between stations by train can see it up close.

The Sentinel statue appears only during the launch week of the Switch version of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. People residing in Tokyo will be able to see it until Sunday, April 17, 2022. Atlus will also only unveil the display from 10 AM to 6 PM in the local time zone.

Atlus and Vanillaware originally released the real-time strategy mecha game 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim on PlayStation 4 in Japan in November 2019 and in the West in September 2020. In late 2021, they announced a Nintendo Switch port of the game that would add new weapons for all thirteen playable mechs. Contrary to the original PS4 release, the West received the Switch port on April 12, 2022, two days earlier than Japan.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Tales of Arise Rinwell Figure

Pre-orders have opened for Kotobukiya's 1/8 scale Tales of Arise Rinwell figure. Purchases from the Kotobukiya online shop will also come with a bonus Hootle figure that can fit in Rinwell's hood as well as on her head. The figure will cost ¥16,500 (about $131), and pre-orders will be open until June 14, 2022. The figure will ship sometime in October 2022.

Rinwell is one of the playable characters from Tales of Arise. As an astral artes user, Rinwell is able to cast magic using her book of spells. One of her closest companions is a Dahnan owlet named Hootle.

The 1/8th scale figure stands at around 205mm (about 8 inches) tall, including the figure's cobblestone-style base. It also recreates various intricate details such as Rinwell's pendant necklace, gold butterfly pin, and sleeve belts. Her spellbook similarly features attention to minor details, with pages showing elaborate written designs and a goldplated-style book cover.

Additionally, the bonus Hootle's size is proportional to Rinwell in-game. As such, Hootle can be placed in Rinwell's coat hood, just like in the game. Furthermore, the Hootle part also comes with an internal magnet that allows you to place it on Rinwell's head without it falling.

You can get a better look at the Tales of Arise Rinwell figure below:

The Rinwell figure is the first Tales of Arise figure to appear from Kotobukiya. Previously announced Kotobukiya Tales of Arise figures include Alphen and Dohalim. Other recent announcements include Shionne in a premium DLC costume.

The Tales of Arise Rinwell figure from Kotobukiya is available for pre-order on the Kotobukiya website. The figure will cost ¥16,500 (about $131) and ship sometime in October 2022. Pre-orders will be open until June 14, 2022, or until supplies last.

Warhammer 40000: Chaos Gate previewWarhammer 40000: Chaos Gate was the kind of strategy game — set in the grim darkness of the far future — I've wanted a modern iteration of for a long while. And I got my wish! Sort of. Warhammer 40000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is the upcoming sequel to the 1998 original, and I got some hands-on experience with it. In Warhammer 40,000, Grey Knights are special among all other Space Marines. They aren't just superhuman warrior monks clad in the best armor and armed with the most fearsome weapons mankind can muster. They're also psychic warriors that use all manners of arcane tools to fight the daemon threat constantly plaguing the Imperium of Man. And this time, an Inquisitor seizes a Grey Knight cruiser returning from a disastrous hunt to stop the Bloom, a daemonic plague spread by the servants of Chaos God Nurgle.   I'm not entirely happy about the choice of Chapter or the enemies. Daemons, especially Nurgle or Khorne, are extremely played out....
