Many Genshin Impact players are upset with how the newest five-star character, Dehya, turned out, and they've taken to Twitter to voice their displeasure. The community is using the '#FixDehya' hashtag to share their preferred buffs along with clips and images demonstrating the character's current uselessness. This may seem extreme, but in their defence, Dehya is seen as the worst five-star character in the anime game to date - and for good reason.

The best clicker games and idle games on PC 2023

What are the best clicker games and idle games? There are some interesting connotations that come along with clicker games. Also known as 'incremental' or 'idle' games, the name betrays certain expectations: click your mouse, get a tiny reward, and repeat until you can make the process more efficient and lucrative like a lab rat pulling away at levers until it gets a tasty food pellet.

In most cases, there's a snowball effect that accompanies your progress that makes your clicks more productive, hence the "incremental" moniker. There are also many games that operate automatically even when you're not playing, which justifies the "idle" nickname. Clicker games manage to distil high-complexity concepts down into a series of single clicks and automation, and while they might not be among the best PC games for their depth or storylines, clicker games are certainly among the most calming and relaxing games around.

CSGO ranks guide: how to get player and team rankings

As with so many things about Valve's peerless team-based shooter, CSGO ranks are hard to wrap your head around when starting out. There is little in the way of in-game explanations to help you figure out how to get started with CSGO rankings. It doesn't help that earning your stripes will take a lot longer than in other competitive first-person shooters like Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch, either.

CSGO has continued to grow, now touting a concurrent player count of over one million during peak hours. That means there are a lot of new players learning the ropes and trying to adjust to one of the best PC games of all time. With 18 CSGO ranks, a lengthy road to getting ranked, and then the never-ending task of improving your rank lying ahead of you, we thought you could use a helping hand in the unforgiving multiplayer game - here is a breakdown of CSGO's ranking system.

I really enjoyed the first Figment when it released back in 2017. An action-platformer with a musical theatre twist using the human mind as its stage? Very creative! Bedtime Studios' follow-up Figment 2: Creed Valley keeps very close to the beat of the first one. You don't need to have played Figment 1 to enjoy this sequel, but I almost feel like you'd be missing you if you didn't (especially as it's free on Steam right now, for today only).

Figment 2 has all the visual flair and catchy sing-songs of the first, but it feels weirdly smaller. Both games will run you about 5 hours each, but Figment 2 is a little less punchy, a little less diverse, and feels more like an encore rather than a dazzling comeback album. That's not necessarily bad; I love an encore, and I enjoyed seeing more of Figment's surreal, subconscious mind-world. But, yeah, it's very much the same as the first game, but with less scope and fewer fart clouds.

hunter x hunter 401 manga chapter

Yoshihiro Togashi tweeted about his progress on chapter 401 of the Hunter x Hunter manga. Though we cannot see the name (essentially the draft) at all in the pictures, we can see that he has written about nineteen pages. He also shared a bit of information about his health.

https://twitter.com/Un4v5s8bgsVk9Xp/status/1633699912083996672

A large part of Hunter x Hunter's massive schedule slip and multiple hiatuses has to do with Togashi's poor health. In previous interviews, he explained that his back and hip issues prevent him from sitting down for long. Considering that a lot of a mangaka's work hours are conducted while sitting down, this is a problem. However, in his tweet, Togashi stated that while he does not yet have a fixed work schedule just yet, he has been able to spend more and more hours per day at the desk. He noted he is very happy about this.

In late 2022, the Hunter x Hunter manga temporarily returned, with several chapters furthering along the political intrigue aboard the Black Whale. Shortly after that, Volume 37 came out in November 2022. That news came four years after the release of Volume 36 in October 2018. However, Hunter x Hunter went on hiatus yet again in late December 2022. At the time of the announcement though, Togashi stated that it would be a short one. Judging by the progress on Chapter 401, he was right.

Hunter x Hunter is available in Weekly Shonen Jump, and Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan. You can also watch the 2011 version of the anime on Crunchyroll and Netflix.

Review: Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is Haunting

The Fatal Frame series is great at forcing you to do something that goes against every survival instinct, then coping with that "decision" as best you can. Do I want to go to the death island filled with killer ghosts? No. Is going up the stairs the creepy ghost nurse ascended wise? Absolutely not. Should you go into the nurses' station after said ghost nurse looked into your soul and ordered you back into your room? I mean, at this point I'd be too busy crying in a fetal position to do so in real life, so yeah, that's also a no from me. But Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse constantly pushes you into these situations, and that's part of what makes it such a great game.

Years ago, Ruka Minazuki, Misaki Aso, Madoka Tsukimori, and two of their friends were found after an incident on Rogetsu Isle. All five young women lost all memories of their lives prior to that moment. Now, two of them are dead. The survivors are convinced the answers to what happened, and their hopes of surviving whatever claimed the lives of their friends, are back on that island. So they return, as does Choshiro Kirishima. He's the detective who found all five girls that day while investigating Yo Haibara, and Ruka's mother called upon him to come back to find her daughter.

Koei Tecmo

Naturally, as this is a Fatal Frame game, there was a ritual gone wrong on Rogetsu! The fallout spawned a horrifying situation, and the result is an array of restless ghosts ready to torment the living.

I really loved how the narrative worked with Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. For some reason, Fatal Frame III: The Tormented and Maiden of Black Water's multiple protagonists sometimes felt a bit forced to me. The use of Ruka, Misaki, Madoka, and Choshiro feels stronger here. Everyone seems a bit more united with their similar sorts of causes. It also helped me to root for them.

It feels like the ritual and backstory for Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is a lot more cohesive than other entries as well. There are some installments in the series during which you'll start to learn what's going on, find out what was being done in the rituals and why, and you think to yourself, "Maybe these people had it coming and deserved to become murder ghosts." But here, things aren't black and white. I sometimes felt bad for the villainous characters or, at the very least, understand why they would go to the lengths that they would. (But not that Ayako. Why? You'll see.)

Ayako

As with all Fatal Frame games, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse also works horrifyingly well because of its limitations. You want a little "light" that shows you the way to your next goal and reassures you that maybe somebody is on your side. No! Nobody on Rogetsu Isle cares about you! No light for you! You need to use your memory, hand-written notes on your phone, and a map you'll probably check every five minutes because you're so paranoid about taking a wrong turn and running into a ghost that wants to murder you dead instead! And you know what? You'll like it.

Would you like to run? No. You are, for the most part, playing as terrified young women who are also suffering from Moonlight Syndrome. (They also, like all Fatal Frame characters, are wearing absolutely adorable dresses and impractical footwear.) You will explore at a light jog, with controls that are slightly clunky, because honestly it's probably more accurate. I also feel it heightens the experience, which is fine. Said people also "reach out" for items highlighted at the same slow pace, which builds tension and makes you wonder, "Is this the time a ghost will grab me back?" (I hope not, because I've been drinking a lot of coffee to stay awake from the scary specter dreams and my heart can't take it.) It retains the series' trademark of doors opening slowly as well, so you never know if there's a ghoul on the other side. Frankly, if it'd been a while since a scary revelation after opening a door, I held my Switch away from me until the music and sound effects told me if it was safe to look.

Review: Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is Haunting

It's like listen. Koei Tecmo gave you the ability to quickly turn around this time around. That alone is a blessing given how often a ghost will pop up out of nowhere to sap your will to live with a single touch.

Besides, you have the Camera Obscura and Spirit Torch. A camera and flashlight, respectively, each one is capable of damaging the ghosts and saving your life. I was pleasantly surprised to see both the standard and gyroscopic controls both work quite well. However, I did prefer and would recommend using the analog sticks for aiming. As usual, you can happen upon lenses while you venture through the island's locations, which can make encounters with ghosts much easier. There are also different sorts of film that can be acquired to help with damaging your opponents as you line up perfectly timed shots to dispel them. However, as in the past, one does offer infinite film, so you're never truly left prone. If you enjoy this element, a Mission Mode lets you really focus on shooting ghosts. Or, you can play at being an actual photographer with its photo mode.

I must say that the ghosts in Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse sometimes feel like an upgrade over ones that appeared in the past. As usual, Koei Tecmo knows how to capitalize on common fears. Do you not like little girl ghosts? Let me tell you, there is a kid in here that gave me flashbacks to some of the Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly ones. (Remember the children who play hide-and-seek with you? They still haunt my dreams every Thursday night.) Don't like dolls? Good news! There's a ghost with a human-size doll you'll get to hang out with! (It's a more terrifying encounter than the Crimson Butterfly ghost-and-doll one again!) But what stands out is that some ghosts are much faster and more unpredictable than in past entries. It really tripped me up in a good way.

Koei Tecmo

Not to mention the new Bloom mechanic means that some ghosts will blossom. You may hear the words bloom and blossom and think, "Hey! That sounds positive. Flowers bloom and blossom, and those are good things!" Then you remember this is Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. Here, that means the ghosts transform to become even more horrifying, powerful, and deadly. There are a lot of ways in which this particular installment ramps up the tension. This mechanic amplifies that, while also tying it into the story to make it feel like a natural addition.

Especially since all of the ghosts look good. Maybe they look too good? This is a rather well-executed remaster. Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse can look really fantastic on the Switch sometimes. Yes, there are a few ghosts that look more silly than scary. I was generally impressed. (When I was feeling brave enough to actually look some of them in the eyes, that is.)

Review: Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is Haunting

The good news is, if you are a wuss like I am, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse's easy mode has some lovely accessibility features. The Camera Obscura will automatically lock onto ghosts. This is especially a godsend for some of the new and improved faster ghosts that come up. There's also one "altercation" later in the game with multiple specters that, honestly, even felt trying with that bonus due to the overwhelming nature of the encounter. It's a lot!

Listen. Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is so scary that one night after I played it for about five hours straight, I couldn't sleep properly as I live in an apartment building. Whenever I'd hear a neighbor shuffling down the hall or someone slam a door too hard, it would jar me awake. I was certain one of these ghosts was going to get me. This is the kind of game it is. It wrecked me in a way past Fatal Frame entries didn't, and I'm sure once I'm able to rest without seeing some of these ghosts in my mind's eye, I'll appreciate that.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. It also appeared on the Wii in Japan.

my hero academia hiatus

Due to Kohei Horikoshi's health concerns, the My Hero Academia manga will go on a two-week hiatus. It will not appear in issues 15 and 16 of Weekly Shonen Jump. However, it should resume in the seventeenth issue. Should there be any complications in Horikoshi's condition, however, this hiatus may last a bit longer. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

Currently, My Hero Academia is in the midst of its Final War Arc. This appears to be the climax of the series. The heroes and the villains are facing off against each other and the stakes are high. While this certainly does seem like the actual and literal final battle that Izuku may need to deal with, there is no telling when My Hero Academia will end.

My Hero Academia is a massively popular anime and manga series that follows Izuku Midoriya, or "Deku," which is both his nickname and his heroic alter ego. Despite his childhood dream of becoming a superhero, he did not have a Quirk at birth. A Quirk is basically a superpower. But then he meets his hero All Might, who bestows upon him the powerful Quirk One For All. Thus begins Izuku's training to become the number one hero.

My Hero Academia runs weekly in Weekly Shonen Jump and Viz Media handles its North American localization. The anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll. The current hiatus for the My Hero Academia manga will last two weeks.

There is also a t-shirt of Levi offering his heart in a salute. As well, Eren and Mikasa's "If you don't fight, you can't win" line appears as a T-shirt design.

You can check out clearer pictures of the designs via Uniqlo's webpage for the collaboration and in the gallery below.

Uniqlo will also hold a campaign while the Attack on Titan t-shirts are available. If you purchase two or more shirts, you can get a #WITHUT sticker. Once you scan the barcode on the back of the sticker, you can use an original AR filter in Instagram. Obviously, you will need the Instagram app and an account in order to use this sticker. These will be available while supplies last in physical stores, whereas the online Uniqlo store will hand it out  via lottery.

Attack on Titan is streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll. The Attack on Titan UT T-shirts will appear in Uniqlo in Japan from March 17, 2023.

Chrono Cross Director Explained Its Over 40 Playable Characters

As part of a new Square Enix official Chrono Cross interview video about the remaster, Director Masato Kato discussed the number of playable characters available in the title. Over the course of the adventure, people can eventually recruit 45 different people. However, which decisions you make do limit which characters can join. When discussing it, he noted it was about adding characters he wanted to see "on a whim." He also "apologized" to Funguy for how that party member was handled.

Here's Kato's exact statement regarding the number of playable characters in Chrono Cross.

Let me tell you, originally we wanted to make every character in the village playable. Unsurprisingly, this idea was rejected. Looking at it with a cool head, even I could see it was impossible. I gave up on that very rapidly.

Then, it was simply a matter of "I want a character like this and like that!" I kept on adding whatever I wanted on a whim, and we ended up with that greatly diverse cast of characters.

When I look at the character lineup now, if someone was to ask me, "Did you really need Funguy?" Maybe I would say he might not be necessary.

Kato also went on to talk more about Funguy after mentioning him. As a reminder, he's the playable character who turned into a mushroom after eating an unusual one.

I feel sorry for what I did to Funguy. I should've given it more thought. I should've fleshed him out more if I wanted to include him. He ended up being called an unwanted character. I feel bad about that.

You can watch the full interview below. It also talked about how Radical Dreamers ended up being part of the remaster.

Chrono Cross Director Approached 'Multiple Times' About Radical Dreamers

A new Square Enix Chrono Cross interview with Director Masato Kato and Composer Yasunori Mitsuda touched on multiple elements from the remaster. In particular, the Satellaview visual novel Radical Dreamers came up. Kato noted Square Enix wanted to bring it back for a while, but that initial rereleases didn't happen due to his being "a bit ashamed of it" and it not being "a fully finished game." However, once Kato saw the prices it was demanding, he agreed. The Radical Dreamers Edition Producer Koichiro Sakamoto also spoke about talking to Kato to ensure it would be included.

Here's Kato's full explanation about the reason why Radical Dreamers showed up as part of the Chrono Cross remaster.

They had approached me multiple times about Radical Dreamers. They wanted to bundle it with other games, such as the Nintendo DS port of Chrono Trigger.

But I told them it was an old title. It breaks off midway. It's not a fully finished game. So, I was a bit ashamed of it, and I kept saying I didn't want to re-release it. I didn't want to see it revived in some new form. So, I kept turning them down.

But then the game started selling at an incredible premium, which was a strange and unpleasant situation. So I thought, "Why not?" It may be embarrassing to me. But if people want to play the game normally and we're letting them play it, then that's fine. I resigned myself to the idea. I realized it was inevitable. So I said, "Okay, as long as we do it properly." And the matter was settled.

Kato also noted that this visual novel "is not strongly connected" to Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. That it falls between the two games.

As for Sakamoto, he explained the process of getting it in the remaster.

We told Mr. Kato, "We want to include it." Some people were skeptical of whether it was really necessary. But we felt it was definitely what the fans wanted, so we worked hard to get it included.

Mitsuda also weighed in on the decision, which sparked everyone involved in the interview to laugh.

When I heard from Mr. Sato that Radical Dreamers would be included, I guessed that Mr. Kato had finally given up. So I assumed he must have yielded. Which was welcome news to me.

After Mitsuda's comment, Kato joked,

Maybe it's because I've gotten older. At this age, you don't really care anymore.

Here's the full interview:

Attack on Titan and Eren Skin Teased for Fortnite

Epic Games teased the next Fortnite crossover will involve Attack on Titan and Eren Yaeger. It shared a piece of art involving the character in his Survey Corps uniform. He's seen from behind, and it appears the skin will pull from his appearance at the beginning of the series.

Here's the teaser. It's note references the three walls on Paradis Island, Maria, Rose, and Sheena.

This marks the third anime crossover to appear in Fortnite in 2023. Gohan and Piccolo returned in a Dragon Ball Super one at the end of January 2023. That marked the second time characters from the series showed up in-game. There was also a Junji Ito Creative Mode haunted house based on the Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre anime, but that didn't involve character skins.

As for Attack on Titan itself, its Final Season Part 3 began on March 4, 2023. The first of its two halves began airing on March 4, 2023. People can find it, and past seasons, streaming on Crunchyroll. The manga is available outside Japan via Kodansha USA.

Fortnite is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and mobile devices, and its Attack on Titan crossover is on the way.

Gengar and Pikachu Squishmallow Plush Appear at Claires

Both the Gengar and Pikachu Squishmallow plush toys are in stock at another retailer. This time, it's the accessory shop Claires. It is selling the 10" versions of both Gengar and Pikachu online. These are $29.99 each. This is the same price the two were at the Pokemon Center when they first released back in November 2022. However, the Pokemon Center ones were 12 inch varieties, while these are 10 inches tall.

As a reminder, these are slightly different aside from the size. All subsequent releases of these two stuffed toys lack the embroidered patch that appeared on the original Pokemon Center batch.

Following the November 2022 launch of the plush, they gradually appeared at other retailers. They showed up at Walmart and Target stores first. GameStop also opened pre-orders for them. In the time since, some size of both ended up appearing at Walgreens stores.

Neither variety reappeared at the Pokemon Center following their launch.

Both the Gengar and Pikachu Squishmallow toys are available at Claires now. The product page noted that if people in the US purchase them, they can expect their shipment by March 16, 2023.

It's March 9th, which means it's Miku Day, a day for Hatsune Miku fans to celebrate the iconic Vocaloid character. That also means that Taito opened pre-orders for a special Spiritale Hatsune Miku Miku Day figure. The figure distribution is limited to the Taito Online Store in Japan and costs 35,200 Yen (about $259 USD).

The Hatsune Miku Miku Day Figure is formally named the "Hatsune Miku 39's Special Day" figure. Since "3" and "9" can be read as "Mi-ku" in Japanese, that's also why March 9th is celebrated as Miku day. The figure itself is made from PVC, and stands at 240mm tall (about 9.45 inches). The figure design recognizes Miku's status a member of Vocaloid royalty, as she's wearing a European-style royal mantle, and regalia. Like other Spirital PVC scale figures, the 39's Special Day figure is manufactured with a special technique designed to emphasize smooth skin textures.

[gallery size="medium" ids="954593,954594,954595,954596,954597,954598" link="file"]

The Hatsune Miku Miku Day figure's regalia includes a scepter, orb, and a crown. The designs seem to be patterned after the real-life crown jewels of the United Kingdom. She wears her mantle over a version of her classic outfit, and sits on the arm of a throne festooned with flowers. Her overall design is based on a 2D illustration by artist iXima.

Pre-orders for the figure are open from March 9, 2023 until May 8, 2023. It costs 35,200 Yen (about $259 USD), and will ship in September 2023. Other items on offer for Miku Day 2023 include apparel, stationery, and other character goods.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC characters

The latest wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe add-on content has arrived. Judging from the updated character screen, more Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC characters are planned. [Thanks, Wario64 and PadWarrior!]

The new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC characters will appear alongside the newly-added Birdo. Birdo was announced in a previous reveal, along with the addition of a Yoshi's Island course. Birdo stands at the head of an entire new column in the character select screen. Below her are five blank spaces occupied by "?s."

https://twitter.com/pad_warrior/status/1633636254989574144

With two more waves of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC coming, the five new characters will presumably be added as part of those waves. As to who they could be, there are still a few Nintendo-related characters that could make the cut. Samus Aran from the Metroid series could be one. Splatoon's prominence as part of Nintendo's top-line franchises could hint at the arrival of a named character from one of the games. The upcoming launch of a new Zelda title could also herald the arrival of a character to accompany Link.

The Nintendo press release that accompanied Wave 4 also promised "more returning courses and characters from across the Mario Kart series." Narrowing the list to only characters that have previously appeared in a Mario Kart game but not Mario Kart 8 Deluxe suggests characters like Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, R.O.B. Pauline, and more obscure names like Wiggler and Petey Pirhana.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is available on the Nintendo Switch. Wave 4 of its DLC arrived on March 9, 2023, with two more waves planned.

Sucide Squad Kill The Justice League Delayed criticism featured imageOriginally, Batman Arkham developer Rocksteady Studios aimed to release its newest game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at some point in 2022. But early that year, Rocksteady ended up delaying the game until May of this year. Considering the game received an extensive showcase during the PlayStation State of Play a few weeks ago, it seemed that Rocksteady felt more than ready to stick to that second release window. However, according to a recent Bloomberg report by Jason Schreier plans appear to have changed yet again. The report suggests that Warner Bros. has now delayed Suicide Squad , following criticism after the showcase, to an unspecified date later in 2023. Notably, this apparent delay comes soon after the game received a less-than-positive reception from players after its recent showcase. Sony clearly intended Suicide Squad to serve as the centerpiece of February's State of Play. However, numerous aspects of the game, such as its live-service elements and requ...
