Building up a base with new structures, populating it with workaholic little friends, and defending it from attacks is perhaps the most involved aspect of this gun-toting creature collector. PCGamesN Saturday, January 20, 2024 8:41 AM What is SAN in Palworld? Short for sanity, SAN is used to gauge the stress levels of your Pals. The easiest way to see a Pal's SAN level is to open up the Pal management menu at a Palbox in one of your bases; it will be listed on their stats screen. The lower their SAN, the less likely they are to work and be productive in your bases. If it reaches zero, they will become incapacitated, completely ruining your well-oiled Pal machine as another friend will stop working to rescue them. SAN will also decrease as your Pals work in your bases and explore the world with you, battling along the way. Thankfully, there's several ways to keep your Pals' SAN in tip-top shape. If you have more questions about Palworld, be sure to check out our other guides that answer pressing questions like whether or not Pals evolve into new forms and our overview of the Palworld type chart that you'll want to get a handle on as you explore the massive world. The Pokemon manga Snorlax's Dream Gourmet has started serialization. You can read it on Twitter (X) and Instagram.
The story starts with Kumura, a researcher, showing off her new invention while something that looks like a protein bar is in her mouth. Her childhood friend Kanmi scolds her for her eating habits. Kumura's machine lets her look into a Pokemon's dream, and she attaches a Snorlax to it. The Snorlax's dream implies that it wants to eat sludge rice so Kumura gets a Muk to slime all over a bowl of rice, which the Snorlax eats happily. This excites Kumura, since it proves that her machine works.
According to the Pokemon website, there will be six chapters in total. You can read it on the official website for Project Snorlax. The Pokemon Company first announced Snorlax's Dream Gourmet in June 2023 as part of Project Snorlax. A video that came out for Project Snorlax featured a woman relaxing with the Pokemon. The campaign focusing on marketing Snorlax as a cute Pokemon who fits in your daily life rather than on it as a fighter.
The current-gen mainline entry, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, is readily available on the Nintendo Switch. You can read new entries of Snorlax's Dream Gourmet on Project Snorlax's Twitter.

Carmine is one of the many new characters introduced in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC and appears in both The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. However, her role is often as a minor antagonist, and she might deserve something more.
Editor's Note: There are spoilers ahead for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC expansions and Carmine's role in them.
Before we hop into whether or not Carmine needs a redemption arc, it is important to look at her role in the story. Carmine is the older sister of Kieran and a student at Blueberry Academy. She is from Mossui Town in Kitakami and we meet her at the beginning of The Teal Mask. She is the first trainer we battle with and initially appears to be an important character.
But over the course of The Teal Mask, she takes a step back to give her brother the spotlight. This happens again in The Indigo Disk, where she is relegated to a background character until the trip back to Area Zero. She plays an integral role here finally, but her moments are pretty brief due to the short nature of this trip.
I would say Carmine's role is incredibly diminished compared to her brother, despite her strong start in the DLC's campaign. The few battles we have with her are some of the easiest in the game as well. In addition, I feel like I don't quite understand her as a character like I do with Kieran. After all, what are her motivations and goals in life? She deserved more of a chance to be fleshed out in these storylines, perhaps with extra lines of dialogue in the scenes we saw or additional moments in the expansions' adventures.
She starts out almost as a bully-like character the player has to deal with at first, almost like a pseudo-rival. But then it doesn't take long for her to take a backseat for Kieran. There is almost nothing menacing or imposing about her, despite her seemingly strong personality. The shallow characterization and writing for her would be fine if we still had more content to enjoy with Carmine. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. As such, it feels like there's no character development for someone who seems like she's also supposed to be important. If not because she's an actually original character with notable parts to play, then because she does sometimes come across as a supporting antagonist to assist with Kieran's development.
With the release of the Mochi Mayhem epilogue, these Gen 9 games seem all but done. As such, it feels unlikely that we will ever get a redemption arc for Carmine in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. There is a chance for possible Unova remakes at some point, but will she be in those games? It seems doubtful. However, her inclusion as an optional secret boss could give her the chance to shine, which she feels somewhat robbed of. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that will happen, but I'd love to see more of her in future Pokemon content.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, plus The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLCs, are available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

During the special program for Version 4.4 of Genshin Impact, HoYoVerse revealed that it's collaborating with OnePlus yet again to release a customized Keqing phone. HoYoVerse will announce more information on it, such as pricing and release date, in the near future.
There aren't many details about the phone just yet. The marketing phrase on the key visual says, "Exceed the speed of lightning," which implies that the Genshin Impact Keqing collaboration phone with OnePlus will have speed as its selling point. This might also just be a reference to how Keqing has very quick battle animations, and both her Skill and her Burst accentuate her speed by making it look like she teleports around as a zip of lightning.
This is not the first time that HoYoVerse collaborated with a tech company for exclusive Genshin Impact devices. It recently teamed up with Xiaomi to release a Smart Band 8 Pro referencing Tartaglia (Childe), complete with a little figure of him and his narwhal. HoYoVerse collaborated with OnePlus multiple times in the past as well, releasing a Hu Tao edition of its OPPO Ace Pro Smartphone and OnePlus 11 5G in a Xiangling gift box.
Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

Burn the Witch always offered an interesting take on another aspect of the Bleach universe, with Witches Ninny Spangcole and Noel Niihashi as they deal with Dragons in Reverse London. However, while it is fantastic to see them again in Burn the Witch #0.8, it really feels like this anime OVA isn't enough.
If you already read the manga Viz Media localized, all of this will look familiar to you. Instead of continuing from the original film, this is a half-hour look at Ninny and Noel in action on Crunchyroll. Namely, it focuses on their encounter and mission involving Osushi the dog and Balgo, a young man Noel knows. Due to the involvement of a Dragon, it is up to the two to deal with the new threat to Front and Reverse London.
Given someone might not have seen the original film, which is split into three episodes on Crunchyroll, it honestly isn't the worst that this Burn the Witch #0.8 anime OVA retreads old ground. The first five minutes is a fantastic introduction to Ninny, Noel, and Balgo, showcasing each of their personalities in brief encounters. Ninny showcases her fantastic gremlin energy, while Noel is both relaxed and serious in her own ways. Meanwhile, Balgo comes across as a rather immature, mostly ordinary young man and Osushi is adorable. There are these formative, establishing moments.
At the same time, Studio Colorido also made sure it looks great. The Reverse London scenes are fantastic and help define it as a very different space and place. The encounter with the Dragons are also quite active and add incredible drama and tension.
However, I want to see Ninny work toward becoming a Sabre. I'd like to see more encounters with these two, who already proved how capable they are despite being first and second Umbrellas in the two anime adaptations so far. The camaraderie between the two is great, and instead of seeing retreadings it feels time for something new. The quality of what we've seen here and in the past is great. Yes, there's value in retelling this particular tale that wasn't animated properly before. But now it should be more of a springboard and offer additional lore and future adventures.
It honestly feels like each Burn the Witch adaptation keeps teasing us with what could be if Tite Kubo, Studio Colorido, and another company really committed to telling Ninny, Noel, and Reverse London's story. I appreciate that this is here and offers more insight. But at the same time, one or two animated adaptations just doesn't feel substantial enough, and I feel like it is time for the story to properly be told. I can only hope this latest release is a means of testing the waters before making it happen.
Burn the Witch #0.8 is available via Crunchyroll, as are the original three episodes from before. Viz Media handled the single volume of the manga.

PC Invasion - FeedDDD Saturday, January 20, 2024 11:49 AM In Palworld, it won't be long before you need to get your hands on Bones. Cement will be one of the first things you need Bones for, although it isn't the only thing it's good for. You may want to stack up, as you'll find that you will need lots in the long-run. How to get Bones in Palworld Bones, as you'd expect, isn't exactly a natural resource that grows on trees. You'll be needing to prize them from certain Pals. For the most part, Rushoar is the best candidate for Bones in Palworld, although other Pals, like Vixy, does drop them. In Palworld, you'll gain the resource drops from Pals whether you defeat them or capture them. For this reason, I would advise that you grab many Pal Spheres as is practical to capture the Rushoar, as the first ten of the Pal species you collect will grant you bonus EXP. This will simply save you time later when you want to really level up your character. Screenshot: PC ... |
