PCGamesN Monday, April 8, 2024 6:55 PM Mafia, the first entry in what has gone on to become an open world game trilogy, is unique. Set during the 1930s in a fictional Illinois city, Mafia took a more focused approach to the kind of crime sagas offered by Grand Theft Auto or Saints Row, zooming in on a specific time period and following the rise and fall of its protagonist with a more intimate focus than is typical in the genre. Now, anyone who hasn't played Mafia before has a great opportunity to do so. Its remade and much improved Definitive Edition is currently discounted by 75% on Steam. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Hakkejima Sea Paradise collaboration event will run from April 17 to July 9, 2024. This event will take place in the real Hakkejima Sea Paradise aquarium in Japan. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
There will be several events at the Hakkejima Sea Paradise for fans of both Animal Crossing: New Horizons and people who just really like marine life. You'll be able to see over a hundred fish and other sealife from the game in person. Each exhibit will have Blathers's description, as well as comments and trivia from the actual aquarium staff.
During the collaboration event, you can also go on a stamp rally, participate in a fishing competition, go hunting for scallops, and watch animals perform to the music from the game. Most of these events do require an extra fee. For example, you need to pay 200 JPY ($1.30) to look for scallops and 1800 JPY ($11.90) to participate in the fishing competition. There will also be a collaboration menu, such as coffee with Brewster's face on the cup or a seafood barbecue consisting of animals that you can donate to Blathers.
The first time this event took place was back in 2021. It's unclear why the organizers chose not to run the event again until now. Considering the scale, however, it might have been rather expensive. The Hakkejima Sea Paradise is an aquarium and amusement park in Yokohama, Japan. You can get a day pass for 5900 JPY ($38.90) which covers everything from your entry fee to the fee you pay for the activities.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is readily available on the Nintendo Switch.

From April 26 to May 26, 2024, a collaboration event and cafe will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bleach. The event will have two parts: an exhibition of signature scenes from the anime and manga and a collaboration cafe. [Thanks, PR Times!]
News of this event first appeared in late March 2024. However, at the time, it was unclear what kind of event this would be. The Locus of Brave part of the event will allow visitors to look at dynamic decorations, as well as artwork from the Bleach anime and manga. As for the collaboration cafe, the characters will look like regular high schoolers. This includes people who weren't high schoolers in the original setting.
The reason why the characters look like regular high schoolers is because this is from the High School Warfare April Fool's joke. Because of that, the food items you can get are either jokes on common Japanese school tropes or references to the characters' in-universe seating numbers. For example, Ichigo and Renji's dishes are "Hayaben Taiketsu," which are lunch boxes. "Hayaben" in Japanese is a term for when you eat your lunch before it's actually lunchtime. Here are the menu items you can get at the Bleach collaboration cafe:
As for the limited goods, you can expect to find pretty ordinary items. There will be can badges, acrylic stands, postcards, and keychains. Merchandise will use both the Locus of Brave key visual and the High School Warfare designs.
The Bleach event in Japan will take place from April 26 to May 26, 2024. Tickets start from 1300 JPY ($8.55), and they'll take place at the Yokohama Landmark Tower.
