PCGamesN Wednesday, February 12, 2025 11:57 AM ![]() Is Toxic Commando still happening? We can get firmly behind anything with John Carpenter's name on, so imagine our delight when John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, a videogame inspired by '80s horror and action and created by the horror legend himself was revealed during Summer Game Fest 2023. Part FPS game, part zombie game, part nostalgic horror trip, John Carpenter's Toxic Commando (herein referred to as just Toxic Commando) is set in the "near future", while being inspired by the mix of gore, comedy, and action of classic 1980s horror. While you might expect a slick, professional, and deadly team of mercenaries in a modern FPS, ready to take on the latest horror, The Toxic Commandos were the more affordable alternative, so they'll do their best - at your behest - with some buddy-humor and bad singing thrown in for good measure. PCGamesN Wednesday, February 12, 2025 10:15 AM ![]() Trying to find out where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU? Well, we're here to help you with that. We've checked the virtual store shelves of retailers around the world to find where Nvidia's latest mid-range gaming GPU contender can be pre-ordered or where you can set up stock notifications for when the card launches later this year. With the RTX 5070 potentially set to be the best graphics card in its price range, including the supposed ability of the RTX 5070 to offer RTX 4090 performance, it's going to be in high demand. What's more, it may only be available in very limited numbers when the RTX 5070 release date window arrives in February 2025. As such, you'll have to be quick to grab one of these new Nvidia cards, especially if you don't want to pay inflated prices from scalpers buying the cards from trusted retailers, only to then resell them on the likes of eBay. The official RTX 5070 price is $549 / $549 CAD / £549 / AU$1,109 for the Founders Edition card, so that's the price you should be hoping to pay for Nvidia's own stylish card. Other cards from the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac might demand more, but that's the ballpark figure you should expect to pay. While RTX 5090 stock and RTX 5080 stock is now available, no RTX 5070 stock is available yet and won't be for several weeks. However, some sites have "notify me" services, so you can sign up to know when stock becomes available, and these may eventually switch to pre-order options too. PCGamesN Wednesday, February 12, 2025 9:52 AM ![]() Do you want to know where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti? Well, we have some good news as we're updating this guide daily with links to retailers around the world so you can set up your notifications, submit your pre-order, and eventually find stock - at a regular retail price - when the RTX 5070 Ti launches. The Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti is the mid-tier card in the company's new RTX 5000 series GPU lineup. While the RTX 5070 is your entry into the series, and the RTX 5090 is the range-topper, the RTX 5070 Ti could well be the best graphics card choice for those looking to maximize their bang for buck. A notable aspect of the RTX 5070 Ti is that Nvidia won't be producing its own Founders Edition card. As such there isn't an MSRP for that exact card. However, the guide price for stock-speed cards is $749 / $749 CAD / £729 / AU$1,109. These cards will be manufactured by the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac. The RTX 5070 Ti release date window is set for February 2025, so no stock is available yet. Some stores are already listing cards with "notify me" services, and we could see pre-order options appear in the future too, but they haven't appeared yet. PCGamesN Wednesday, February 12, 2025 9:30 AM ![]() If you want to find out where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, then you've come to the right place. We're updating this guide daily with links to retailers worldwide so that we can let you know as soon as they get stock on their shelves. The RTX 5080 launch was just over a week ago and many retailers have not yet had time to replenish their stock after the initial influx of orders. The Nvidia RTX 5080 is a very popular option for those wanting to upgrade to an RTX 5000 series GPU. That's because, while our RTX 5090 review showed it to be the undisputed new best graphics card, it also offers relatively poor value for $1,999. The RTX 5080, though, is a great choice that offers reasonable value in the grand scheme of things, as we found out in our RTX 5080 review. Because of this expected popularity, and because the entire RTX 5000 series is tipped to be in short supply and high demand, you're going to need to be organized if you want to secure a card for a sensible price soon after launch. With an official price of $999 / $1,449.99 CAD / £979 / AU$2,019 Nvidia's own Founders Edition card is one of the most affordable options. Other cards from the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac might demand more, but sometimes offer lower running temperatures, quieter fans, and more overclocking headroom. The RTX 5080 release date was Thursday, January 30, with the launch time being 9am ET / 6am PT / 2pm GMT. With most stores already sold out, some are operating a "notify me" service, so you can sign up to know when stock becomes available again. He appeared on the podcast with former EA CEO Bing Gordon (thanks, Gamespot), to talk about both their company histories. Kotick's statements reference widely reported incidents alleging a company culture of harassment, intimidation, and pay inequity around the time - coinciding with a lawsuit against the company - and the petition referred to appears to be this one to remove him as CEO, which attracted over a thousand signatures. That petition followed a report by the Wall Street Journal (paywalled) that highlighted several alleged incidents of harassment by Activision staff, alongside reports that Kotick was aware of these allegations but did not inform the company's board of directors, and intervened to prevent the firing of an alleged harasser. It wasn't just Activision workers who found these claims alarming: a group of company shareholders called for Kotick's resignation soon after. Kotick denied any wrongdoing. |

The Pokemon Company International announced that there are two more Pokemon Home shiny Pokemon giveaways, and this time we can earn Keldeo and Meltan. Both are available to collect as of February 12, 2025. You need to finish the Pokemon Sword or Shield Pokedex for Galar to get Keldeo. Meanwhile, Meltan is tied to Kanto Pokedex completion for either Let's Go, Pikachu or Eevee.
Both the shiny Keldeo and Meltan will arrive at level 50 if you manage to earn them. The Keldeo will know Aqua Tail, Double Kick, Quick Guard, and Sacred Sword. Meanwhile, the Meltan will arrive with a moveset that includes Acid Armor, Flash Cannon, Headbutt, and Thunder Wave.
This is the third Pokemon Home Shiny Pokemon giveaway event tied to game completion. The first giveaway started in October 2024. That stars a Shiny Meloetta. It requires you to play Pokemon Scarlet or Violet and potentially its DLC to complete the Paldea, Blueberry, and Kitakami Pokedexes. If you do all that, it ends up being sent to your collection in the app.
The second giveaway happened more recently. In January 2025, Shiny Enamorus and Manaphy appeared in the app. To get Manaphy, you need to complete the Pokedex in either Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. Meanwhile, that Enamorus is tied to the Hisuian Pokedex in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee, as well as Pokemon Sword and Shield, are available on the Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Home is available on the Switch and mobile devices now, and the shiny Keldeo and Meltan promotions are live in that app.

Sanrio and A-Sha released a three-flavor variety pack of boba milk tea starring Hello Kitty and her friends, Cinnamoroll and Kuromi, which you can get at Costco stores around the United States. Whereas the previous pack contained a brown sugar milk tea flavor, this release uses Thai milk tea instead.
Each can contains 310 ml of drink, including the tapioca pearls. Like last time, this could be to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty, or it could be due to the positive reception the first time Sanrio and A-Sha released a variety pack of boba milk tea cans received. Though the Hello Kitty and friends boba variety packs are available in Costco stores around the United States, they aren't on the Costco website (as of the time of writing).
The previous variety pack that Sanrio and A-Sha released in 2024 featured Keroppi and My Melody in place of Cinnamoroll and Kuromi. For some reason, only Hello Kitty's flavor changed from brown sugar milk tea to Thai milk tea. It's unknown if this is in response to customer feedback or due to differing trends in customer preferences between 2024 and 2025.
The Sanrio and A-Sha three-flavor variety pack of Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi milk tea are available in Costco stores around the States.

Berserk is a highly influential manga that began serialization in 1989. Since then, it's become one of the best-selling manga series of all time, with many praising its worldbuilding and writing. Parasyte ran from 1989 to 1994, with multiple adaptations of the story. It follows Shinichi Izumi, a high schooler who enters in an odd symbiotic partnership with a parasite Migi. The two of them have to work together to fight other parasites. Finally, Uzumaki, which ran from 1998 to 1999, is one of the most popular and famous works from Junji Ito, with a recent anime adaptation. It follows the citizens of Kurouzu-cho, who have to deal with a supernatural spiral curse.
The Uniqlo UT manga curation T-shirts are available in Japan, and they'll come out in North America in early March 2025.

Bandai Namco announced that it has recorded over 4 million units of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 sold worldwide. The company celebrates the milestone by revealing several new projects related to the game developed by Koei Tecmo's Omega Force that originally came out in 2020. One of them is a most wanted character poll, where the winners will appear as new DLC playable characters for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.
The company has also set up a survey page for the poll. However, it requires people to have a Bandai Namco ID registered before they can access the page. Once logged in, they will be able to choose 3 characters they want the most out of the 23 figures listed.
The 23 characters available in the poll are as follows. As a side note, Nefertari Vivi and her pet duck Karoo are counted in a single character slot.
The One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 most wanted character poll will close on Friday, February 28, 2025. After closing the poll, Bandai Namco will select several of the top-ranked winners for the new DLC set.
This poll also shows Bandai Namco's commitment to continuously add more content to One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 in a similar fashion to Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2. The game's support was initially thought to have concluded with the Wano Country character Kozuki Oden in 2020. However, the company later revealed new DLC for the game and added characters like Gear 5 Luffy and Monkey D. Garp throughout 2023 and 2024.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Even though the PS4 and Xbox One versions are also readily playable on the PS5 and Xbox Series X via backward compatibility, Bandai Namco has also announced plans to release new native versions for the newer consoles.

I like when a plush or toy is released as a "seasonal" item, but then doesn't end up feeling like it has to be a once-a-year decoration. Some of the Pokemon Center items are fortunate enough to fall under this heading, so a Snowman Pikachu I have gets to be on display all winter. Since TeeTurtle has a deal with Sanrio, that means it also has plush toys in its reversible line based on characters, and the ones based on Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and My Melody for Valentine's Day are all also the type that I feel like can be used at any time.
![]()

![]()
Okay, so to start, there are two varieties in this year's Valentine's Day collection. One is Hello Kitty, and the other is a Kuromi and My Melody two-for-one deal. In the case of Hello Kitty, she has two facial expressions and two outfits for each side of the plush. With Kuromi and My Melody, you get a character on each side. There is embroidery employed for things like facial expressions and the skull on Kuromi's cap. There are also real ribbons used as accents on Kuromi and My Melody's ears. Printed fabric is used for the outfits.
I feel like both of these TeeTurtle reversible plush Sanrio toys are more like "look, but don't touch" Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and My Melody plushies. Part of this is that while they are soft to the touch, they aren't as soft as say a Squishmallow or traditional stuffed animal. That's a natural consequence of printed fabric, I've found! It looks great. Especially around the blush on their cheeks. But it does mean it won't be the items you'd pick up to cuddle. Also, the fact that white is such a predominant color for every character means I honestly didn't want to handle them too much! I want them to remain pristine and not get somehow dirty or even get incidental sweat from my hands on them.
The good part is that both of them look incredibly appealing. These are extraordinarily cute and more detailed than standard TeeTurtle reversible plushes. Hello Kitty has a plush ribbon on each side. I already mentioned the ribbons for Kuromi and My Melody. Kuromi also has a tail, which is quite cute. I didn't expect any of them to have little, white angel wings on the back, but they do! It's really whimsical and delightful. Also, while these are very Valentine's Day coded Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and My Melody items, the nature of the heart "outfits" and shades of pink color scheme does make them rather universal in nature. In fact, the one "version" of Hello Kitty looks pretty much identical to standard Hello Kitty.
![]()
![]()
Another positive about them is that like some other reversible plushies, both the TeeTurtle Hello Kitty and My Melody with Kuromi plush toys actually can sit flat and look fine when reversed. I picked up some of the Jazwares Squishmallows reversible ones for a friend's child, since the larger size and softer material make it a bit easier for the kiddo to swap. (Plus, since they're generic characters and a bit cheaper, it's less sad when they get messed up.) These can sit absolutely flat when reversed displayed with either side showing. They can very easily be adjusted so you only have the current character and style visible. It makes it much nicer for plopping them on a hard shelf, where overlap and imprecision would be noticed.
I appreciate the TeeTurtle plushies in general, and the Sanrio Valentine's Day ones of Hello Kitty and Kuromi with My Melody are novel plush toys. I feel they are definitely more decorative than hands-on playthings, which might affect potential uses for them. However, the fact that they are seasonal, yet still feature more universal designs and color schemes, does mean that there's added possibilities for use outside of, well, February.
The TeeTurtle Sanrio Hello Kitty and Kuromi with My Melody reversible Valentine's Day plush toys are available now.

Fishing in Verse Piece is the easiest and the best way to farm materials such as Race and Ability Rerolls. Furthermore, by fishing, you can get one of the most challenging items to get in Verse Piece, the Limitbreak Stones. So that you can quickly start catching the big game in Verse Piece, we prepared the following fishing guide to help you out.
How to Start Fishing in Verse Piece
![]()
To start fishing in Verse Piece, go to the edge of the Starter Island closest to the Lost Isle. There, you will first have to buy the Fishook from the Fishhook Seller NPC. Then, you can cast the Fishhook by interacting with one of the three circles on the ground close by. Fishing doesn't require any additional input in Verse Piece, but you can get kicked out of the server after 20 minutes if you don't move at all.
How to Get the Fishook and the Golden Fishook in Verse Piece
You can get the Fishhook and the Golden Fishhook by purchasing them from the Fishhook Seller on the Starter Island. Fishhooks won't be in your inventory. However, you can distinguish which one you have by the color of your rod while fishing in Verse Piece. Lastly, these are the materials you need to purchase both fishhooks and where you can find them:
How to Upgrade Your Fishook
![]()
Upgrading your Fishhook should be on your priority list as soon as you start catching some Fish in Verse Piece. Upgrades cost 5, 15, and 25 fish, respectively. You can find the Fishhook Upgrader on a ledge close to the fishing spots on the Starter Island. You only have to upgrade your fishhooks once, as the upgrades carry over to the Golden Fishhook.
Getting Different Baits in Verse Piece
![]()
There are three different fishing baits you can get in Verse Piece: Golden Bait, Enhance Bait, and Limitbreak Bait. With each bait upgrade, you will start fishing out better and better items. The Limitbreak Bait, specifically, lets you catch Limitbreak Stones, which are extremely difficult to come by. Here is a preview of each Bait upgrade and the materials needed for them:
Loot From Fishing in Verse Piece and the Fisherman Trait
The Fisherman trait in Verse Piece improves your fishing rewards slightly. So, instead of receiving four rewards per fishing cycle, you get five. In general, you get the same loot from fishing as you would from chests. However, you can't farm chests nearly as fast as you can fish. With the Golden Fishhook, all three fishhook upgrades, Limitbreak Bait, and Fisherman trait, you get five rewards every ten seconds.
The most valuable items you can get by fishing in Verse Piece are definitely Race and Ability Rerolls, Dungeon Tickets, Artifacts, Enhance Stones, and Limitbreak Stones. You can also get various other materials needed for crafting swords and specs. Now, you will max out those materials relatively quickly in your inventory. So, make sure to sell them at the Adventure Shop for some easy Gems.
Now, you are ready to become a master angler in Verse Piece and maybe even guide others on their own fishing expeditions. If you are in for more of our Verse Piece content, then make sure to check out the Verse Piece section of Destructoid.

Monopoly GO's daily Quick Win tasks are among the most helpful ways to get dice, cash, and sticker packs as a new or experienced player. These rewards can make a huge difference between completing your seasonal sticker packs and being just a few cards short.
Table of contents
Today's Monopoly GO Quick Wins tasks and rewards
Monopoly GO has three Quick Win objectives you can complete daily. These are typically quick and easy tasks you can finish to gain some small rewards and advance through a weekly prize pool. While early week rewards are small, the grand prize is usually a Five-Star pack, Swap Pack, or a Wild Sticker if we're lucky.
Here's a complete list of today's Quick Win tasks and rewards, updated on February 12, 2025.
What are Quick Win tasks?
Monopoly GO's Quick Wins are daily tasks you complete for weekly rewards. You'll receive five small prizes daily, including dice, low-tier sticker packs, or emojis. The end-of-week reward is the most valuable, ranging between a Five-Star pack, Swap Packs, or even a Wild Sticker.
Here are some Quick Win objectives you might encounter throughout your Monopoly GO playthrough:
Since these are daily tasks, Scopely has designed them to be relatively easy to complete, even if you're a new player. However, you may still miss a few, especially if you're out of dice or don't get opportunities to open sticker packs.
How to find Monopoly GO's Quick Win task list
![]()
Your Quick Wins list is available directly on your main Monopoly GO screen. After loading in and arriving on your board, tap the "Wins" button in the bottom left corner of your screen to find your Quick Win objectives. You'll also spot a timer until the list refreshes, your weekly progress, and a reward bar at the bottom of the screen.
How many Quick Wins can you miss?
In Monopoly GO, completing all three Quick Win objectives daily will grant you 84 progress points a week. You only need 74 points to get a week's grand prize, allowing you to miss up to ten points worth of tasks.
![]()
However, one day gives you 12 points, so you can't miss a full day. Instead, you can have one day to complete the first task and skip the last two or two days to miss the third objective. As long as your missed tasks don't exceed ten progress points, you're in the clear for the week's end.
Tips for completing Monopoly GO Daily Quick Wins
Your exact strategies to finish your Quick Win tasks will depend on the day's objectives. While some days rely heavily on your dice rolls, others focus on upgrading landmarks and collecting stickers. That said, below are some tips for ensuring you complete all three of your daily Quick Win tasks and get your weekly grand prize:
Good luck finishing your Quick Wins and grabbing some weekly prizes. Whether you're completing a Partners event or want to snag a five-star pack, hopping on and completing these is one of the easiest ways to get valuables items each week, especially if you're a new player who doesn't have access to thousands of dice and tens of thousands of levels worth of profile upgrades.

As soon as you're done getting flogged in the town square of Troskowitz at the start of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you learn of a combat master named Tomcat. Tomcat is located to the west of Trosky, but he can teach you some extremely useful combat mechanics.
One of those mechanics is the Horizontal Slice, but it's incredibly difficult to pull off if you're just following the game's directions.
Performing a Horizontal Slice in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
When you're training with Tomcat at the Nomads' Camp in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, he'll ask you to perform a couple of the mechanics you're trying to learn. The latter of those mechanics is the Horizontal Slice, which is a combat combo that sees you attack from three different directions. This is supposed to be used against tougher enemies that might be more prone to block your standard attacks.
![]()
During the combat training with Tomcat, you need to perform two Horizontal Slices to complete the "Combat Training: I" quest. This is required to unlock the Combat Training II quest, which unlocks the Master Strike ability. Fans of the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance will know how big of a deal learning the Master Strike is, as it completely changes every combat encounter you'll have moving forward.
Unfortunately, the Horizontal Slice is seemingly impossible to pull off if you're just following the directions the game gives you. According to the game's description, the Horizontal Slice requires the following combo:
While you can randomly perform a Horizontal Slice blindly following that combo direction, you won't be able to consistently pull it off. Moreover, you're likely going to hear Tomcat tell you to keep repeating the combo over and over, as you won't be doing it correctly during the combat training.
Luckily, there is a way to ensure you can perform a Horizontal Slice with some consistency. You just have to slightly disregard what the game says. Here's the best way to pull off a Horizontal Slice:
![]()
It will definitely take a few (dozen) attempts to get the hang of the Horizontal Slice, but following my steps will eventually yield you the results you're looking for. Once you pull off two Horizontal Slices during the combat training with Tomcat, you're done with the first part of the quest.
To learn the Master Strike, you have to defeat Tomcat in a duel, which is far easier if you use the Horizontal Slice against him. Of course, you might also not be ready for a fight with someone as experienced as Tomcat, so there's no harm in further mastering your skills, getting better gear, and coming back later. The Master Strike is far more useful in the mid-late game, so don't sweat about it if you're still just starting out.

We may be smack-dab in the middle of a huge new controversy surrounding Nvidia's flagship-level GPUs: both the RTX 5000 and the RTX 4000 series cards. In what seems like a growing number of cases, users discover that the GPUs' 12VHPWR cable is prone to extreme heat buildup and burning.
As Nvidia users will already know by now, the company moved on from the tried-and-true 8-pin PSU cables with the GeForce RTX 4000 series cards. The new standardized cable is the now-infamous 12VHPWR cable, and it's been a poor showing all around. As of RTX 4000, users have had to double and triple-check that the connector is fully seated due to it being prone to meltdowns. The standard has since been updated a tad to be more secure, but the new RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 GPUs come with their own set of problems. In fact, recent reports suggest that the 12VHPWR is once again leading to meltdowns, as per information from der8auer, of all people.
Nvidia's 12VHPWR power cable may well be a fire hazard for halo-tier GPUs
PC hardware engineer and YouTuber Roman Hartung, known under his der8auer alias, has discovered that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 with a 12VHPWER cable may be prone to extreme overheating. Specifically, the connector itself reached temperatures of over 150 degrees Celsius, and the issue may have something to do with how it handles current distribution.
Note, too, that der8auer's report comes mere days after the first known example of a 12VHPWR connector melting down in a Founder's Edition RTX 5090. The unlucky user sent over his damaged hardware to der8auer for him to check out, which then led to the creation of the video featured above. It's not a good look at all, and it's still too early to say where the problem is with absolute certainty, to boot.
The problem isn't universal, either. System integrator company Falcon Northwest has posted on Reddit showing proof that they haven't been able to replicate der8auer's findings in any meaningful way. This means that we may be looking at a localized issue of some sort (i.e. a faulty batch of GPUs), but more testing is necessary before we know for sure.
If you've decided to skip the cutting-edge RTX 5000 GPUs because you've got a high-end RTX 4000 card, don't be so sure that you're a-ok, either. Gaming website DSO Gaming reports that their test-rig RTX 4090 has been having similar problems, even though its 12VHPWR connector has been fully seated. The poor thing melted down in its socket, only to continue working as if nothing happened. Had they not checked their rig, they might never have known something was amiss, so be sure that you do the same just to be safe.
So far, only the top end of Nvidia's product lineup appears to be affected. This makes sense, too, because the halo-level RTX products draw an unholy amount of power when you take transient spikes into consideration. The more power a GPU draws, the more heat it has to dissipate. It is a tad ridiculous to see that the problem may actually be with the power connector this time around rather than the GPU itself.
On a final note, just do yourself a favor and check your GPU power cables when the opportunity shows. It costs you literally nothing to do so, and as the DSO Gaming example shows, it's seemingly possible for the power cable to power through (ha-ha) the burning and continue working without the end user ever noticing something was up. House fires are a huge no-no for obvious reasons, and until we know for sure what the heck is going on, a tiny bit of vigilance may be the way to go. These problems don't seem to be present on lower-end graphics cards (i.e., the 4070 lineup and below), but check just to be sure because the 12VHPWR power cable is more and more suspicious as time goes on.

Forza Motorsport has more-or-less managed to pull itself from the shoddy, half-broken mediocrity that plagued it on launch day. Update 17 thus continues a successful streak of fun, reasonably chunky content patches with a batch of daily driver Hyundai cars. Thing is, there's a problem cooking along the way.
Now, please make no mistake: I adore daily drivers in car games. Hot hatches, in particular, are something I enjoy driving both in the real world and in video games. Seeing Hyundai's N lineup of hot hatches, specifically in Forza Motorsport, is an absolute joy if you ask me, though I'd love to see some Kia thrown in for good measure, too. However, Forza Motorsport's new Update 17 comes with a huge caveat: new cars and bugfixes are basically all we'll be getting in the game for the foreseeable future, and that's a big bummer.
![]()
Forza Motorsport's Update 17 is the template for the next couple of content updates
Before getting into the nitty-gritty of the awesome new-to-Motorsport daily drivers, I've got to tackle the aforementioned caveat: Updates 17 through 20 will be rather content-limited in the grand scheme of things. As per Turn 10's message to the Motorsport community from January, "Our work on some of the features we previously announced for early 2025 may be re-evaluated as we complete our new plans. Until then over the next three months our updates will be new content only. That was a very difficult decision, however we are excited to continue to bring new content and experiences to you."
The slightly confusing wording is the reason I didn't write about this statement earlier. I wanted to see how Update 17 would pan out in practice, as it is effectively the template of what we'll be getting in the coming months. The overall takeaway is that it's downright excellent if you're only interested in new cars, but everything else is being de-emphasized until May at least. This does mean no new tracks until then, which is the biggest problem with this setup.
Of the new content that is present in Update 17, the new daily driver cars are the only truly noteworthy addition:
Great cars all around, absolutely, and I definitely am hoping to see more daily driver-tier vehicles in Forza Motorsport in the future. With that in mind, I can't help but be slightly concerned for the future of this game if Turn 10 is already de-emphasizing key content releases, even if it is allegedly only a temporary solution.
Forza Horizon 5 is effectively winding down as well, and I genuinely am hoping to see at least a few years' worth of comprehensive content support of that caliber from Turn 10 as well. Up until now, I was absolutely certain that's what would happen, but now I'm no longer entirely sure.
With Update 17's Daily Racers car roster now out, we can look forward to Velocity (Update 18) and Porsche Motorsport (Update 19) releases in the coming months. Everything else is currently up in the air, as it were.

Trading is an essential part of basically every RPG Roblox experience. It's the same in Sakura Stand, where you have so many limited items that are no longer obtainable by just grinding. So, to help you out with trading, we prepared the following Sakura Stand Trading guide and value tier list.
Sakura Stand Trading Value List
In Sakura Stand, trading is all about making equal exchanges. However, there are a lot of players who will try to underpay for your items. When making or receiving trading offers in Sakura Stand, you can use the trading value tier list below as a reference. Keep in mind that for very rare items, like the Summer Time: Valentine, the player wanting to buy it will probably have to overpay due to its very low supply.
The items in the Sakura Stand trading value list below are sorted by their overall value in trade. For example, an item with a value of 4 is worth two items with a value of 2. However, there is always a little leeway. In general, items that are stronger in combat or limited in circulation are valued the most.
How to Trade in Sakura Stand
The trading system in Sakura Stand is slightly different from most other Roblox experiences. To make a trade, you need the other players' Roblox username, which you can see by hovering over their in-game name in the top right corner of your screen. Then, type in !trade username in the chat to send a trade request to them; the other player should do the same.
![]()
Once you have initiated a trade in Sakura Stand, a new window will open up where you can place the items you want to trade with the other player. You can click the "Accept" button below when both players have placed all of their items. If you've changed your mind about the trade for whatever reason, you can decline the trade in the next 10 seconds.
How to Find Other Players That Want to Trade?
The most straightforward way would be to ask if anyone wants to trade in chat while in-game. However, it is more sensible to try to find other players to trade with on the Sakura Stand trading Discord server. Among other things, you can also vouch for others here and ask other players whether the trade you are making is worth it.
That sums up everything you need to know about trading in Sakura Stand. If you are looking to claim some freebies while battling other stand users, then check out our Sakura Stand codes.
