     Valorant codes April 2025

April 9, 2025: We've checked for new Valorant codes.

What are the new Valorant codes? Everyone likes it when they get free stuff, and it's even better when it's for hugely popular multiplayer games like Valorant. However, in the case of high-profile titles such as this, there can be long gaps between giveaways, and even then, they may not be available to redeem for long.

When Riot Games does give us a few free Valorant items to redeem, they could include Gun Buddies, which you can clip onto your weapons after tinkering with Valorant crosshair codes. If you want a stylish new look to show off as you climb through the Valorant ranks, here's the latest list of codes for this highly competitive FPS game so you can get the newest freebies.

Razer just pulled all the gaming laptops from its US store

All the gaming laptops have disappeared from the US Razer store, with the site only listing laptop accessories such as skins, docks, and cables. That's despite the fact that Razer has only just launched its new lineup of Blade 16 gaming laptop designs at the end of March 2024, to widespread acclaim, and it's likely that the current tariff trade war between the US and China is at least partly responsible.

This isn't a decision that Razer would take lightly, especially given the amount of work it's put into its latest laptop designs. In our Razer Blade 16 2025 review, we gave the company's latest mobile gaming machine a score of 9/10, thanks to its superb design and build quality, as well as its supremely powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU.

I wasn't expecting the Schedule 1 system requirements to list an RTX 3060

Viral indie hits don't come along too often, but when they do, usually anyone can play them due to low PC demands spurred by less intense visual design. As for the Schedule 1 system requirements, while the minimum requirements are low, the recommended specs ask for an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, which is overkill even though it is considered a budget gaming GPU.

Now that we've established that you won't need the best graphics card to start playing Schedule 1, you can turn your attention to its remaining demands, which are unfortunately vague on the CPU front.

Medieval strategy game Norland upgrades migration, crime, booze, and bandits

Medieval strategy game Norland has unleashed a seriously hefty new update giving multiple core mechanics a polish. The Long Jaunt and Hooded Horse colony sim merges all the period drama of Crusader Kings with the settlement and people management of Rimworld, and its "damn big update" marks another good moment to try the early-access indie game. With changes to city interactions, migration, crime, alcohol, and more, there's a whole lot to dig through.

What are the best Elden Ring builds? The first 20 levels shape your entire class, so selecting your stats carefully is essential.      New milsim Armored Brigade 2 has some of the most realistic tank battles ever

In Command and Conquer, you're playing as the leader of the entire GDI or Nod army, observing the battlefield from an enormous bank of monitors in a secure military installation. And yet, you're able to talk to every single infantry trooper as if you're standing next to them - when you give orders, your soldiers seem to receive them telepathically. That's C&C. That's how it works. But imagine if that communication broke down, and as well as attacking and defending, you now had to contend with a fractured chain of command that delayed your orders. Sequel to one of the best tank-based milsims on Steam, Armored Brigade 2 is a hybrid RTS and logistics game that makes even its most realistic rivals look casual.

Marathon release date estimate, trailer, and gameplay

When is the Marathon release date? Marathon is a forthcoming first-person shooter from Bungie, the team behind hit games like Destiny 2 and the original Halo. It's been a while since the first trailer gave us the scoop on what players could expect from the game, which was rumored to be in development for quite some time before Bungie's actual announcement in May 2023.

And, while the Marathon release date is still quite a way away, the hype is real given Bungie's history of delivering unrivaled gunplay and the stunning trailer that re-introduced gamers to the remake of the FPS game, which remains a classic.

This Samsung Odyssey OLED gaming monitor has an amazingly low price right now

If you get in quick, there's a genuinely outstanding Samsung OLED gaming monitor deal going right now, which enables you to save a massive $250 on the usual price of a Samsung OLED G6 screen. It's a limited-time deal, so you need to go straight in for the kill if you want to take advantage of it, but if you do, you'll get a 240Hz 26-inch OLED gaming screen for just $549.99.

It's been quite the week for Path of Exile 2, with its Dawn of the Hunt update landing to a rather firm outcry from players about the ARPG's slower, more laborious campaign and leveling process. As a direct result, the game's recent Steam reviews sit at just 40% positive. Fortunately, we might just have reached the inflection point. Following a two-hour interview between livestreamer 'Zizaran' and game directors Jonathan Rogers and Mark Roberts, a new set of PoE 2 patch notes have appeared with a lot of planned changes that look to be tackling many of the major complaints.

Lost Ark is finally fixing the game's biggest

Every now and then, I get a weird urge to play Lost Ark. One of the first games I ever reviewed, it's one that I look back on with a warm fondness. I loved its dynamic class system, Diablo-style gameplay, and beautiful world, but as of late Arkesia has felt a little bit quiet. I've struggled to clear some of its content due to long queue times resulting from a distinct lack of players. Following a recent broadcast discussing upcoming changes to the Korean version of the game, there's been concerns about gold changes and the infamous 'T3 deadzone,' which has consistently prevented progression. As rumors bubble, Smilegate has addressed all of this and more, and the response has been largely positive.

We need a genuinely affordable AMD or Nvidia GPU, for the good of PC gaming

There's a curious anomaly sitting among all the Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs at the top of the latest Steam Survey. Right there at number four sits the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, a budget gaming GPU from 2019 that not only has no ray tracing hardware, but also has no Tensor cores – it can't even run first-gen DLSS upscaling.

In terms of specs, this Nvidia GPU is a very long way behind the best graphics card models you can buy right now. It has just 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM and 896 Turing CUDA cores. Amazingly, it doesn't even need a power cable, with a total graphics power rating of just 75W, which means it can get all its juice directly from a PCIe slot.

Inspired is one word for it, anyway. Still, since Heroes Of Might & Magic-likes aren't exactly giving roguelite deckbuilders a run for their ubiquity, I'm broadly receptive - the warmest and most exploitable of the four gamer emotions. Stormbinders is a turn-based strategy set in a fantasy land with bad weather and badder shimmering angelic eyeballs. You may recognise what it's going for. This may delight you.

You'll choose a hero, then get stuck into the campaign. "The story progresses across unique scenarios, uncovering a tale of magic, heroism, unlikely alliances and betrayals," reads Steam. The titular Stormbinding sounds like the interesting twist here. The game randomises weather patterns each time you boot it up, which apparently adds new wrinkles to both battle and the global map.

'18 Wheels Of Thunder' boasts Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing's original box art, in a font forged from guitar pedals, light beer, and divorce papers. Flames jet from the snout of the marauding 'rig like snorted breakfast tequila following an especially piquant ex-wifely punchline. A rammed police car flails uselessly against the sheer girth of but one of those 18 thunderous wheels. Perhaps we might imagine a single tear trickling down the exasperated coparoo's cheek. As we reach out to wipe it from the case, we unwittingly dissolve the '1' from the tagline, leaving us with only '8'.

The 8 remains, smugly, for two decades. 8 is the Metacritic score for Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. That is so incredibly powerful that words fail me. Not for Metacritic, meaningless institution run by and for leprous prestige weasels that it is. It's powerful for Big Rigs. To get less than a 61 on Metacritic, a game must either be so brazenly committed to its own bizarre artistic vision that it fizzles the minds of lesser critics like Skittles in lemonade, or simply be unplayable wank. I have read a lot of evidence that points toward the latter, but that can't be true, or it wouldn't be on Steam, right? Cheers for the spot, PCGN.

Bloodborne SuperGroupies

SuperGroupies is set to release a new line of Bloodborne merchandise. However, this won't be limited to apparel, such as previous collaborations that included the likes of a watch and bag. This time around consumers will be able to get their hands on a wax seal set, wine class, and replica table clock through the Bloodborne and SuperGroupies collaboration.

The replica table clock is modeled after the Astral Clocktower as shown in the Bloodborne The Old Hunters DLC, whereas the wax seal set comes with all of the bells and whistles to actually create a wax seal. This includes the parts needed to melt down individual blocks of wax, and the seal itself — which features the Hunter's Mark insignia. The wine class features the crest of Cainhurst, with the final item being a keychain with a Saw Hunter Badge charm.

You can take a look at the Bloodborne SuperGroupies merchandise below:

The price for each item is as follows:

  • Clocktower Replica Table Clock - 16,500 yen or $113
  • Hunter's Mark Wax Set - 12,100 yen or $83
  • Cainhurst Wine Glass - 5,500 yen or $37
  • Saw Hunter Badge Keyring - 4,180 yen or $28

The Bloodborne SuperGroupies wax set and keychain will release in early June 2025. The table clock and wine class will ship sometime in early August 2025. International shipping is available for these items.

Bloodborne is available on PlayStation 4.

Sabrina Carpenter dancing in front of a jewlery case in Fortnite

Weekly quests often ask you to engage with hidden or lesser-known features around the island in Fortnite. Once such task asks you to search a jewelry case, and there's a decent chance you've never come across one prior to this quest.

Jewlery cases aren't too difficult to find and interact with once you know where to look. They also have a chance of rewarding you with some pretty solid loot in addition to the XP you'll gain for finishing this quest, so here's how to search a jewelry case in Fortnite.

All Jewelry case locations in Fortnite

Five jewelry case locations marked on a map in fortnite
Screenshot by Destructoid. Remix by Destructoid

You can find jewelry cases at five Smash N' Grab Jewelry Stores scattered across the island. Most of these locations are located in major POIs, but some of them are situated at smaller Landmarks or entirely unamed locations. The five places you can visit to find jewelry cases are:

  • The Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store near Outlaw Oasis.
  • The Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store at Whiffy Wharf.
  • The Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store at Canyon Crossing.
  • The Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store in Hopeful Heights.
  • The Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store north of Pumped Power.

All Smash N' Grab Jewelry Stores are marked on the map with a white diamond icon. There are lots of other icons on the map in each round, and plenty of them move around as it progresses, so it's easy to overlook this one.

How to rob jewelry cases in Fortnite

To search and rob jewelry cases in Fortnite, all you need to do is approach them and select the button displayed next to the word "interact" once you're close enough. This button varies by platform, but you can't miss it since it pops up by the case when you're within range.

As soon as you search a jewelry case, the NPC guards roaming around the shop will start to attack you since you're robbing them. Be ready for a fight, or get ready to run. Either way, it's best to make sure you have some solid loot before attempting this heist so you can defend yourself if needed. There are usually at least a few chests around each Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store, so you can head there straight out of the battle bus.

Sabrina Carpenter holding a bat and completing the search a jewelry case quest in fortnite
Screenshot by Destructoid

For the weekly quest that asks you to search a jewelry case, you only need to interact with and open one to complete it. There are always at least three cases in each Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store, so there are plenty of opportunities to tackle this task.

What do jewelry cases drop in Fortnite?

Jewelry cases primarily drop gold bars, but they also have a chance of dropping a singular Dill Bit. There's no way to know what you're going to get until you search a jewelry case, so it's best to open all of the ones present around the Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store to ensure you obtain as much loot as possible.

Dill Bits are a fairly rare drop from jewelry cases, but it's still worth robbing them if you're in need of gold bars to spend at an Outlaw Flusher or Black Markets. If you don't find a Dill Bit when opening one, consider grabbing some Thermite and heading to a vault next since they're guaranteed to be found inside.

pokemon go battle league

The Spring Cup has arrived in Pokémon Go and the Great League is in full force until April 22, challenging trainers to craft specific teams to climb the standings and boost their rankings.

Only Water-, Grass-, and Fairy-type Pokémon are eligible in the Spring Cup with Jumpluff, Roserade, and Toxapex banned completely, so it's hard to craft a team if you don't know what to look out for. But don't panic, we have some suggestions for you to take to make the most of the cup and make the most out of the competition.

Best Pokémonfor the Spring Cup Great League in Pokémon Go

https://twitter.com/PokemonGoApp/status/1909743081600983464

For the Spring Cup, there are a few decent combinations of Pokémon you can take in so long as they are below 1,5000 CP and match the typing.

Galarian Weezing is by far the best one you can use and has a decent move pool to make the most. If you have one that knows Overheat, Sludge, and Fairy Wind, you'll be set up to destroy most types of Pokémon you come across. You'll likely face a lot of mirror matches though, so make sure you have a counter for it where possible.

If you lead with Galarian Weezing, you can then pair it with something like a Ferrothorn (Bullet Seed, Power Whip, Flash Cannon), Lapras (Psywave, Sparkling Aurra/Ice Beam), and even a Klefki (Astonish, Foul Play, Play Rough) as some options.

The Klefki's Steel-typing makes it great to use against other Fairy-type Pokémon and is a great pick into the Glarian Weezing, while Lapras and Ferrothorn, especially Shadow Ferrothorn, are just strong picks in general for the Great League overall, and have a diverse amount of moves to deal with the types of Pokémon you'll be coming up against.

Moving on from those though, you can also bring in something like Tentacruel (Poison Jab, Acid Spray, Sludge Wave) or a Shadow Abomasnow (Powder Snow, Weather Ball, Energy Ball) instead. Abomasnow's Ice-type moveset can help it take down a lot of the Grass-types you'll come up against, while Tentacruel is just good in certain matchups.

If it were up to me, I'd be taking in a team of Galaring Weezing paired with a Klefki and Shadow Abomasnow, there's also the option of switching in the Klefki for Lapras to work against the Galarian Weezing mirror match, but without Ice Beam which is a Event/Elite TM move, you'll be weak to any and all Grass-type Pokémon.

Here is a full list of Pokémon to consider, alongside movesets.

Pokémon Fast Move Charged Move 1 Charged Move 2
Galarian Weezing Fairy Wind Sludge Overheat
Klefki Astonish Foul Play Flash Cannon
Ferrothorn Bullet Seed Power Whip Flash Cannon
Lapras Psywave Ice Beam (Event/Elite TM Exclusive) Sparkling Aura
Tentacruel Poison Jab Acid Spray Sludge Wave
Leavanny Shadow Claw (Event/Elite TM Exclusive) Leaf Blade X-Scissor
Shadow Amoonguss Astonish Sludge Bomb Foul Play
Shadow Abomasnow Poder Snow Weather Ball Energy Ball

an image of Shogun's Island in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2

With the new Mortal Kombat collaboration in Fortnite, there's a quest where you'll need to eliminate players at the Shogun's Arena. While it sounds great, finding it is a bit of a pain for some players who aren't aware of where it is on the map.

So, here's everything you need to know about finding the POI in the current Fortnite Season.

Table of Contents

What is the task to complete at Shogun's Arena?

The task is to eliminate two enemies at the Shogun's Arena, doing which will earn you 30K XP. It's a part of the Balance of Power set of quests that mainly focuses on using Scorpion and Sub-Zero's Kombat Kits to eliminate enemies.

You can check out our guide for the complete Balance of Power quest walkthrough. Let's now take a look at how to find this POI in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2.

How to find the Shogun's Arena in Fortnite

The problem with the Shogun's Arena is that it doesn't have a fixed location in Fortnite and spawns randomly in the middle of matches (after four storm circles). This means you have to survive for a while before it actually spawns, and you may either play safe or gather loot around to be ready for action when the clock hits.

an image of Shogun's Island icon on Fortnite's mini-map

Once you reach the midpoint of a match, open the map and look for a "red rift icon" that looks like a paw (one big island with four smaller islands on one side). That's your cue to the Shogun's Arena, which is Chapter 6's version of Loot Island.

How to reach the Shogun's Arena

Since it's a floating island, you can take the help of an Air Sprite to get up there and then open up your glider to land on a safe spot. You may either eliminate enemies on the island itself or take advantage of the height and eliminate enemies on the ground. For the latter, you need to have a scoped weapon to take them easily.

You can also fight the Shogun X boss here to earn special rewards, such as a random Enhanced Mythic weapon and the Super Shield Medallion. It may take some time to beat the boss, provided you're fighting alone. If enemies start to third-party you after hearing gunshots, you will need to take care of them as well.

Be prepared for enemies flocking up there, as most of them would be looking forward to completing this Mortal Kombat quest to earn the 30K XP.

Path of Exile 2: a female warrior with magical powers throws out some flaming skulls as the world burns behind her.

Path of Exile 2's offering of Spectre minions has increased posed Dawn of the Hunt patch, and some of them will make it easier for you to clear the in-game content.

This guide will focus on the very best options currently available post the latest content drop. All the Spectre minions mentioned here in this guide are possibly the best options currently available in the game, and they can be upgraded further to improve their in-game capabilities.

Top Spectres Minions in Path of Exile 2

There are more choices than ever available inside Path of Exile 2 right now, but not all minions are the same. I've picked out five of the best Spectre minions in the game, but we could add more options down the line if things change.

  1. Vaal Guard
  2. Frost Wraith
  3. Faridun Impaler
  4. Forsaken Miner
  5. Priest of the Sun

1. Vaal Guard

Vaal Guard in Path of Exile 2
Screenshot via GGG

How to get: The Ziggurat Refuge in Utzaal, Library of Kamasa, in Act 3

The recent patch has made it crucial for players to concentrate on DPS, and what better one to use than Vaal Guard. The Vaal Guard offers the highest amount of base damage at 440% base modifier. It throws grenades that do a huge amount of AoE-based Fire damage. This is an endgame option but well worth your investment, and it requires 50 Spirit Cost.

Along with doing excellent damage, Vaal Guard also debuffs enemy movement speed. Overall, it excels in damage output and crowd control.

2. Frost Wraith

Frost Wraith in Path of Exile 2
Screenshot via GGG

How to get: Act 1 from the Cemetery of Eternals

The Frost Wraith Spectre is easy to find but it has a high Spirit Cost at 80. However, it offers a lot of utilities with its abilities. Frost Wraith is excellent at crowd control as the projectiles have a chance of freezing the enemies first and then dealing damage from explosions. The amount of damage dealt is pretty handy, and you can increase that by leveling up your Frost Wraith.

This Spectre minion also excels at protecting you in the heat of a battle with a high-energy shield, and this is one of the best choices for beginners.

3. Faridun Impaler

Faridun Impaler in Path of Exile 2
Screenshot via GGG

How to get: The Spires of Deshar in Act 2

It takes a fair bit of time to find the Faridun Impaler and it also has a high Spirit Cost at 120, but this Spectre deals a lot of damage (a common theme for all the names you'll find on this list). The physical attacks deal damage from a range, allowing you higher survivability, and they can also trigger Bleeding in the enemies. The amount of damage dealt goes up as the levels increase.

4. Forsaken Miner

Forsaken Miner in Path of Exile 2
Screenshot via GGG

How to get: Mawdun Quarry and the Mawdun Mine in Act 2

The Forsaken Miner can be obtained in the second act, and it has a Spirit Cost of 70. It's weaker compared to other choices on this list like the Vaal Guard, but this Spectre minion still has a lot of damage potential. It can fire two grenades and do a lot of damage when they explode. With the correct build up, you can reduce the casting times, which will further up the damage potential.

Like Vaal Guard and Frost Wraith, the Forsaken Miner does excellent AoE damage through Fire-based attacks. If you are planning to use the Vaal Guard but have yet to obtain it inside the game, the Forsaken Miner is a great alternative.

5. Priest of the Sun

Priest of the Sun in Path of Exile 2
Screenshot via GGG

How to get: Temple of Kopec in Act 3

The Priest of the Sun can be found in Act 3, and it has a Spirit Cost of 100. The latest patch seems to have really upped the damage potential of Fire-based attacks. The Priest of the Sun launches an Orb that moves slowly but deals damage along its path. Any enemy caught in its path will take a lot of damage, and it's a good attack for crowd control.

The Priest of the Sun also has a beam-type attack that can pierce through multiple targets. Build-wise, it's best to use items that reduce the casting time required to use the abilities, as that will directly increase the damage potential of the Spectre.

spring into spring key art pokemon go

Pokémon Go's 2025 Spring into Spring event is here, adding Gossifluer and Eldegoss into the game for the first time and giving trainers a bunch of research tasks to complete to unlock a lot of rewards.

There is an unhealthy amount of paid Timed Research and Collection Challenges this time, all themed around Gossifluer, Fletching, and Remoraid, so if you are looking to see which challenges are worth completing, or wondering if the paid ticket is worth it, look below to see everything you can get and decide for yourself if you want to invest the extra fee.

All Spring in Bloom Premium Timed Research tasks and rewards

Trinity Rodman in EA FC 25

The EA FC 25 servers are currently down due to routine maintenance, and players will have to stick with the offline modes for the time being.

The maintenance was announced by EA Sports a few hours earlier, and it has started as per the scheduled times. All forms of online matchmaking have been disabled as part of the maintenance. Thankfully, the developers have also announced an exact time regarding when the servers will become operational once again.

When will EA FC 25 April 9 maintenance end?

The maintenance for EA FC 25 begins at 11 PM PST/1 AM CST/2 AM EST/6 AM UTC on April 9. Matchmaking has been disabled 30 minutes before the scheduled start. Based on the published schedule, the maintenance will continue until 2 AM PST/4 AM CST/5 AM EST/9 AM UTC.

https://twitter.com/EASFCDirect/status/1909803463103623432

If there are no delays, the maintenance will be a three-hour long affair. There have been incidents in the past when EA Sports has extended routine maintenance. However, the odds of that happening are low, and it shouldn't take too long for the servers to become functional once again.

Which EA FC 25 modes are affected?

All modes that use online matchmaking will be out of access. This includes the Ultimate Team mode, which relies on online connectivity when it comes to matchmaking. Even if players manage to get into their Ultimate Team account, trying to matchmake will result in an error. The same applies to playing with your friends in online friendlies.

You can enjoy modes like Player and Manager Careers, which are operational without requiring any internet connection. These modes have received some unique changes, and now is the best time to test them out. The player career allows you to create your legacy, while the manager career allows you to manage your favorite club and help them reach new heights.

There is an option to both play for the club you manage, and you can even choose the path of an Icon. There are plenty of options available for you to enjoy your time while the servers remain offline. Do note that older titles like FIFA 23 and FC 24 also remain offline as part of the routine maintenance.

The original Solo Leveling story features Sung Jinwoo as the main protagonist, who starts off as an E-Rank Hunter, but discovers a strange system that allows him to get stronger as he trains. He ends up going on a variety of different missions to discover the source of his powers, while also protecting the world from the monsters in the process.

D-Rank Dungeon Arc

Our story begins with Sung Jinwoo joining a raid in a D-Rank Dungeon. The party discovers a hidden Double Dungeon, and Jinwoo barely makes it out alive, signing a contract with a mysterious System that lets him get stronger.

Reawakening Arc

After surviving the Double Dungeon, Jinwoo awakens in a hospital and learns about the System that allows him to level up and grow stronger. This is basically his training arc.

Instant Dungeon Arc

Jinwoo enters an E-Rank Instant Dungeon for solo hunting, where he learns his own limits and capabilities.

Dungeon & Lizards Arc

Jinwoo continues leveling up by taking on increasingly dangerous dungeons, defeating lizard-type monsters.

Dungeon & Prisoners Arc

Jinwoo faces challenges in Dungeons filled with prisoner-like monsters, further showcasing his growing strength.

Yoo Jinho Raid Party Arc

Jinwoo teams up with Yoo Jinho to create their own raid party, allowing Jinwoo to hunt solo while Yoo Jinho handles logistics.

Job Change Arc

After spending so much time training and clearing lower rank Dungeons, Jinwoo finally decides it's time to check out the strange Dungeon with the key given to him by the System. Jinwoo gains the title of "Monarch of Shadows" after completing a System quest in an Instant Dungeon, and defeats Blood-Red Commander Igris who becomes his loyal shadow ally.

Red Gate Arc

Jinwoo decides to go on another Raid with an existing Guild, but things quickly go awry. A seemingly ordinary Dungeon turns into a Red Gate, trapping Jinwoo and others inside. Jinwoo showcases his Shadow Army's power for the first time while defeating Baruka, the Ice Elf.

Demon Castle Arc

Jinwoo enters the Demon Castle to complete a System quest and fights high-level demons, earning new skills and items.

Retesting Rank Arc

At this point, it's no longer possible to keep his strength a secret. Jinwoo undergoes a second rank evaluation and is revealed as an S-Rank Hunter, shocking the hunter community.

Hunters Guild Gate Arc

Jinwoo joins an A-Rank dungeon raid as a miner and impresses Cha Hae-In with his overwhelming power against High Orcs and Kargalgan.

Return to Demon Castle Arc

Jinwoo returns to the Demon Castle for unfinished quests and grows even stronger.

Jeju Island Arc

Image via Crunchyroll

This is one of the most important arcs in Solo Leveling. The various Hunter Guilds have banded together to rid Jeju Island of the monster ants, but when it becomes clear that the mission is about to fail, Jinwoo steps in to save them. It's at this point that he also recruits Baraka as a new Shadow for him to control.

Recruitment Arc

Jinwoo establishes his own guild, Ahjin Guild, together with Jinho and they start recruiting trustworthy allies for future battles.

Ahjin Guild Arc

The newly formed Ahjin Guild begins operations while Jinwoo continues strengthening himself.

Double Dungeon Arc

After making so much progress with his Guild and training, Jinwoo decides it's time to figure out the secret of the Double Dungeon. He goes back in, and this is where we learn about the System, the Monarchs, and the Rulers.

Japan Crisis Arc

A catastrophic event unfolds in Japan involving high-level Gates and monsters, forcing Jinwoo to intervene.

International Guild Conference Arc

Global Guilds gather to discuss increasing threats from Gates and monsters, with Jinwoo playing a key role in negotiations.

Monarchs War Arc

The Monarchs declare war against humanity, and Jinwoo battles multiple Monarchs while uncovering their motives.

Final Battle Arc

As the name suggests, this is the final battle in Solo Leveling. Jinwoo faces off against all of the Monarchs, and we also wrap up plenty of story threads with him and his father. It's mostly just fights at this point over actual dialogue, though.

Epilogue

The story concludes with Jinwoo's life after defeating the Monarchs, including emotional resolutions with his family and allies.

All Solo Leveling Ragnarok arcs in chronological order

Solo Leveling Ragnarok is a Korean light novel written by Daul, and it serves as a spinoff and direct sequel to the original story. Our protagonist is the son of Sung Jinwoo himself, Sung Suho, and he goes through a similar journey of reawakening and getting stronger as he faces more monsters and gates. We also see some returning characters, including fan-favorite Cha Hae-In.

Ragnarok is still ongoing, and no anime adaptation has been announced.

a hunter fighting a fire breathing dragon in monster hunter wilds

While there's plenty of fun content to get through in the base game, there are special event quests that involve fighting new monsters and earning better rewards after that. Here's everything you need to know about the King of a Faraway Sky event quest in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Monster Hunter Wilds King of a Faraway Sky start and end dates

King of a Faraway Sky is a special event quest in Monster Hunter Wilds that will run from April 8 to April 15, 7 p.m. Eastern Time.

This gives you just one week to clear the quest and get all the materials you need from it. The good news is that the quest itself isn't particularly long, though it can be a little challenging. You'll be focusing on farming Tempered Guardian Rathalos in this quest, and it may take you a few tries before you're able to farm it efficiently.

How to start King of a Faraway Sky

a summary of the king of a faraway sky quest, including a description of the rathalos monster in monster hunter wilds
Screenshot by Destructoid

First off, do note that you need to be at HR 31 in order to even start King of a Faraway Sky. This means that you need to have completed the Monster Hunter Wilds campaign, and also complete enough High Rank quests in the post-game section to reach HR 31.

Once you've hit that requirement, speak with Alma at any Base Camp or open the Quest Counter menu from the tent, then select the Event Quests tab. From here, you should see King of a Faraway Sky. You'll now be able to select the quest and embark.

How to beat Tempered Guardian Rathalos

Rathalos has always been one of the more deadly monsters to go up against in the Monster Hunter series, and the same rings true here. King of a Faraway Sky will take you to the Ruins of Wyveria region, and you can find it in Areas 1 and 6.

Here's an overview of its part weaknesses and resistances, as well as which weapon damage types are the most effective:

Cut Blunt Ammo
Head, Wings, Legs, Tail Head, Neck, Wings Head, Legs

You can absolutely work on breaking its torso with these damage types as well, but you'll find the most success focusing on the monster's head and legs in particular. Overall, I'd recommend bringing a Cut or Blunt-type weapon to the fight; Ammo damage performs fine, but it's a significant step down from the other weapon options.

In addition to that, you'll also want to bring a weapon with Dragonblight damage for maximum damage output. The other elements will work as well, with the exception of Fireblight, which will be blocked by Rathalos.

All rewards in King of a Faraway Sky

a menu showing the reward icons on the post-game screen of monster hunter wilds, including the rathalos parts and materials
Screenshot by Destructoid

Finally, here's a list of all possible rewards you can get for hunting Tempered Guardian Rathalos:

  • Ancient Orb (Armor)
  • Ancient Orb (Sword)
  • G. Rathalos Certificate S
  • G. Rathalos Carapace
  • G. Rathalos Plate
  • G. Rathalos Ruby
  • G. Rathalos Scale+
  • G. Rathalos Tail
  • G. Rathalos Wing
  • Hard Armor Sphere
  • Hunter Symbol II
  • Inferno Sac
  • Rusted Weapon Shards

Aside from getting the Rathalos parts to craft new armor, you'll also be looking to farm the Rusted Weapon Shards, which can be converted to materials used in crating Artian gear.

And that's everything you need to know about the King of a Faraway Sky event quest in Monster Hunter Wilds. Be sure to search up Destructoid for more tips and information, including how to get Alma's glasses, as well as a breakdown of all the moon phases.
