PCGamesN Monday, May 19, 2025 1:03 PM ![]() I had a feeling we might be in for a bumpy ride with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 when I was told there wouldn't be a press driver available in advance of the release. Why would Nvidia not want reviews ready at launch? Based on my testing, the simple answer is that this new GPU doesn't have enough VRAM to play one of the latest games at high settings at just 1,920 x 1,080. I've had the chance to test a Gigabyte card based on this new Nvidia GPU, and I'll be writing a full RTX 5060 review in the near future. In the meantime, though, I wanted to quickly run some of the most demanding tests in our benchmark suite to confirm if my suspicions were true. Basically, the RTX 5060 specs might make this GPU more powerful than the RTX 4060, and it has the benefits of multi-frame gen too, but it simply doesn't have enough memory to cope with one of the latest blockbuster games. PCGamesN Monday, May 19, 2025 12:02 PM ![]() Especially after Anno 1800 and 2205, you can imagine that the foundations of Ubisoft's city-building series might struggle to translate to Ancient Rome. Anno, primarily, is rooted in exploration, economics, and peaceful expansion - it's about connecting disparate townships and people via trade routes and diplomacy. On the contrary, when you think of the Roman Empire, you think of centurions and war. That puts Anno 117 in a potentially difficult spot. Part Cities Skylines, part Europa Universalis, and part RTS, it also has to marry its comparatively pastoral gameplay with a more feudal, war-driven historical context. From what I've played so far, however, Anno 117 successfully pulls together these disparate influences. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Best city building games, Best strategy games, Best simulation games |

Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Monday, May 19, 2025 9:52 AM ![]() In classic me fashion, I swanned off for a few days just as another graphics card fracas has spilled out into public view. At the centre this time is the previously unassuming RTX 5060, which you may have noticed is due for launch today yet only has a handful of "hands-on previews" to tell you how big of a graphics it does. Allegedly, that's because Nvidia have been keeping hold of the drivers needed for full reviews, only providing them at the eleventh hour to press outlets that have previously run these previews. No preview? No review, at least until the drivers release publicly later today, and what's more, the same reports say that these previews were only offered under strict testing provisos set by Nvidia themselves. According to VideoCardz and Hardware Unboxed, the mandated test conditions supposedly range from only allowing certain games for benchmarking – judging from the previews currently online, these were Doom: The Dark Ages, Avowed, Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy and Marvel Rivals – to the more egregious demand that RTX 5060 performance figures would focus on DLSS 4's Multi Frame Generation (MFG). And, in turn, would only be compared to results from older XX60 GPUs that lack DLSS frame gen support entirely. |

In an unsigned statement published 15th May 2025, Microsoft confirm that they have supplied technology to the Israeli armed forces during the assault on Gaza, which began following the killing and abduction of Israeli civilians on October 7th 2023. They contend, however, that their own internal reporting has found "no evidence to date that Microsoft's Azure and AI technologies have been used to target or harm people in the conflict in Gaza." Suntory announced that characters from Shueisha and Koyoharu Gotouge's Demon Slayer will appear on the labels of drinks like Pepsi and CC Lemon in Japan. Things start in the middle of June 2025 and an official site is open, though the crossover campaign and full reveal of additional items comes on June 16, 2025.
Here's an official photo from social media that showed some of the Demon Slayer Suntory labels on products like Pepsi, CC Lemon, Dekavita C, Natchan, and Pop Melon Soda. In each case, it looks like there are two variants per drink. One type of label shows a hero, such a member of the main party or Hashira, while the other features a notable demon. The Pop Melon Soda examples show Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the demon Gyokko on them. The first Pepsi Big Zero labels show Tanjiro Kamado and Muzan Kibutsuji on them. On the front of the Pepsi Lemon Big Zero are Zenitsu Agatsuma and the demon Daki. The first two CC Lemon bottles show Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui and Gyutaro, and the second two show Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku and Akaza. Dekavita C bottles in the example feature Inosuke Hashibira and Enmu. Finally, the Natchan bottles shown had Nezuko Kamado and Rui.
This is how that first example looks:
![]()
These are only confirmed for Japan. However, if you have an Asian grocery story near you, there is always a chance that the CC Lemon, Natchan, or other Suntory products imported will be the ones that feature those crossover labels and designs. For example, I saw the CC Lemon bottles with Splatoon 3 labels at a local Japanese grocery story after their September 2024 launch in Japan.
The Demon Slayer Suntory crossover that involves characters appearing on battles of sodas like Pepsi and CC Lemon drinks like Natchan will debut in June 2025. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan, while the anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

On July 7, 2025, Final Fantasy IX will turn 25 years old, and Square Enix announced the latest rounds of merchandise tying in to that are a Vivi mug with a cup and hat cover and a new plush pouch that also resembles the character. Both of the items will debut in Japan on August 16, 2025. As a reminder, the company still paused many US pre-orders as a result of the Trump tariffs.
The Final Fantasy IX Vivi mug stands at almost 6 inches tall (15cm) when the hat cover is on the cup, and it is about 3 inches tall (7.5cm) with the top taken off. It is designed to look exactly look like the little mage's face and hat. The product page noted it can hold 250ml. That costs 3,520円 (~$24).
As for the plush Vivi pouch, it is also designed to resemble the character's face. When opened, the interior lining is a blue and white striped fabric that matches the way his pants look. That is around 7 inches (18cm) tall and almost seven and a half inches (19cm) wide. That will be 3,960円 (~$27).
Here's how both items will look:

Square Enix announced a lot of Final Fantasy IX merchandise that looked like Vivi in addition to the cup and bag. For example, the company started selling a replica of the character's hat in April 2025. There are also some more subtle purses and pouches based on the outfits he and Zidane wore in the game. In March 2025, a picture book and plush based on him also appeared.
The Final Fantasy IX Vivi cup that features a mug and cover that resemble him and his hat and a plush pouch will debut on August 16, 2025 in Japan. The game is available on the PlayStation, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.

The official social media account for Hatsune Miku and the Crypton and Piapro Vocaloids confirmed that Kagamine Len "performed" alongside Nijisanji English LazuLight Vtubers during the fourth anniversary 3D concert livestream. While the photo showed the Vocaloid's model with both of the performers, only Elira performed the noripy song "Migikata no Chou" with the character. The Vocaloid only appeared for a single song during the presentation.
Here's the full LazuLight 3D concert with the Nijisanji English Vtubers Finana Ryugu and Elira Pendora, and Kagamine Len appeared at the 33:27 mark.
This isn't the first time a Crypton and Piapro Vocaloid sang with Nijisanji English Vtubers. Hatsune Miku was the first. She performed alongside Ike Eveland back in July 2024. However, now that he graduated from the company in April 2025, that official video performance is gone.
In addition to the concert that appeared on Elira Pendora's channel, a fourth anniversary LazuLight stream appeared on the YouTube channel for Finana Ryugu. You can watch that stream with the two of them below.
As a reminder, LazuLight was the first Nijisanji English branch of Vtubers, and it featured Pomu Rainpuff, Finana, and Elira. Pomu graduated from the company back in January 2024.

Leading up to the June 2025 launch of the Magic the Gathering Final Fantasy collection, Wizards of the Coast shared multiple cards from the crossover online and at events, and we have a look at a counterpart card of Ardyn Izunia from FFXV. It is a reskinned variant of Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire.
As this FFXV Magic the Gathering Ardyn Izunia card is a counterpart of Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire, it is functionally identical. He is a Legendary Creature - Demon Rogue. Its ability allows you to set up your next move by moving a card to the top of your deck.
Here's a closer look at this Ardyn Izunia version of Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire:
![]()
This isn't the first time a crossover version of Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire appeared. The Secret Lair x Chuck set of cards based on the Child's Play series featured a reskin of it of Tiffany, Bride of Chucky.
We also know of other Ardyn Magic the Gathering FFXV cards in this Final Fantasy crossover collection. The Secret Lair x Final Fantasy: Game Over set includes one. That features him on Unseat the Usurper – Sorcery, which is a reskin of Praetor's Grasp.
The Magic the Gathering Final Fantasy set will launch on June 27, 2025, and the official site for the cards is now open. Pre-releases happen on June 6, 2025. Orders for the three Secret Lair sets open at 9am PT/12pm ET on June 9, 2025.

The 2.0 Zenless Zone Zero special program stream time and date is set, and we don't need to wait long to learn about the latest update. It happens at 3:30am ET/6:30am ET/12:30pm CET, the usual time, on May 23, 2025. We can likely expect a lot more news than usual, due to this being a full 2.0 release and marking the launch of the Xbox Series X version of the game. Also, there will be a free Polychrome code again. We can watch on Twitch and YouTube.
As part of the 2.0 reveal, a whole new faction and region will appear in Zenless Zone Zero. The place is called the Waifei Peninsula, and the first characters in the update will all be from the Yunkui Summit Faction. When we're visiting in Waifei Peninsula, we don't run and stay in a Random Play video store branch. Instead, we work at Subian Temple. Yixuan is an S-rank unit who seems like she may act as head of the group. The other two are Ju Fufu and Pan Yinhu. There will also be a new system for our daily quests and rewards.
Another big change will involve Belle and Wise in Zenless Zone Zero. In the 1.0 series of patches and story, as well as area, we only see them enter the Hollows via the Hollow Deep Dive System and their unique Bangboo. In 2.0, they'll be able to enter the Hollows themselves. We'll have to wait for the showcase to see how that works.
Zenless Zone Zero is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and it will come to the Xbox Series X alongside the 2.0 update on it seems like June 6, 2025. This is due to Hugo's banner ending on June 5, 2025, which tends to be the hint for when the next one and update starts. The Zenless Zone Zero Special Program stream for 2.0 airs at 3:30am ET/6:30am ET/12:30pm CET on May 23, 2025.

Type-Moon has revealed a release window for Fate/hollow ataraxia Remastered. The studio plans to release the remaster of Fate/hollow ataraxia for Nintendo Switch and the PC gaming platform Steam sometime within the year 2025.
The studio first announced the confirmation of the remaster's development back in August 2024. It revealed that the remaster will appear on Steam and Switch. The visual novel will also be available worldwide with English language support. However, the remaster's release window was not known prior to this new announcement.
The new release window appeared first on pamphlets sold during the Fate/stay night 20th Anniversary Concert Finale. The concert was held at the Tokyo International Forum on May 18, 2025. It was the last one made to celebrate the anniversary milestone of the visual novel, of which Fate/hollow ataraxia serves as its fan disc expansion.
The new announcement tweet is available to view right below:
The original Fate/hollow ataraxia was available for Windows PC via a standalone DVD-ROM in late 2005. Type-Moon later worked with Kadokawa Games and HuneX to bring the visual novel to PlayStation Vita with full voiceovers in late 2014.
Fate/hollow ataraxia Remastered will be available worldwide for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in 2025.

Shueisha announced that the Shonen Jump manga RuriDragon is on a break until June 15, 2025. The last new chapter to appear is 34, which launched on May 18, 2025 worldwide. It can be read for free on both MangaPlus and Viz Media at time of writing, as both offer the first three chapters and three most recent ones to read for free online.
The 34th chapter in the series deals with some recent developments that came up around chapter 33. As Ruri's draconic traits start to come in, it means suddenly learning to deal with and control them. One of the last ones is a frost ability. This means changing the temperature around her, as well as forming ice and freezing things, it means it's gotten quite chilly and her temperature is dropping. We get to see how she deals with the new power even further.
As for physical copies of the manga, you can find one volume of RuriDragon in print now. Viz Media released that back in January 2025. Volume 2 is expected to debut on August 5, 2025 outside Japan. It's up to three volumes released so far in Japan, as the third covered chapters 16-24 and debuted in March 2025.
The series proved quite popular since its debut in June 2022. So much so that there's already a Nendoroid of the character on the way.
RuriDragon chapter 34 is available to read for free online now, and chapter 35 of the manga will appear in Shonen Jump and online on June 15, 2025.

D3 Publisher and Monkeycraft's Yeah! You Want "Those Games," Right? So Here You Go! Now, Let's See You Clear Them! series of minigame collections, better known as Those Games now, are generally rather ingenious. The false mobile game ads' games, which typically are never representative of what's in those titles, become actual games in the compilations. The first two are rather solid! The third one, called Listen Up! We Tried to Make "Those Games" Even More Extreme! Some Things Have to be Learned the Hard Way! is a bit more specialized. While fun, Those Games Extreme is absolutely geared more toward people who finished the first two than a new audience.
This is still a compilation. However, this time there's a mix of titles from the past two installments. Color Lab, Number Tower, and Pin Pull from Those Games appear. These are the ones in which you sort colored liquid from test tubes, fight enemies in towers by picking the right ones to target first based on their number strength and your own, and one in which you pull pins in the correct order to help a person get treasure and avoid hazards. Those Games 2's Draw & Guard, Knock-Back Shooter, and Spellbinding Scroll show up. These involve protecting a cat by drawing lines to protect it from enemies, properly aiming in an enclosed areas to ensure a bullet ricochets to hit enemies, and attacking enemies by whittling down numbers while you gradually move forward toward a finish line. Aside from the increased difficulty, the only major difference is a change from a woman dealing with people in love with her to a war scene as Spellbinding Scroll became Survival Scroll.
At its core, Those Games Extreme is generally fine. In most of the situations, it feels like we're getting more levels for existing minigames that probably were among the most popular from the first two entries. There are 155 levels, which folks might appreciate. In general, they all sort of feel the same. In the cases of Draw & Guard, Knock-Back Shooter, Number Tower, and Pin Pull, I feel like the situations are perhaps a little more complex or involve a tad more thought to ensure you're going through the steps in the correct order or making wise choices.
However, in two cases I do feel like there's a little bit more to the minigames. In the case of Color Lab, I feel like it's a more positive change! Yes, you're still sorting liquids in test tubes to ensure each one only has one color in it. The changes make it feel like there are new approaches and really enhance the experience. Some colors may be hidden until you start sorting the liquids, which can really mess with plans. In other cases, there will be test tubes with obvious cracks that will shatter after being moved too often. Bonus points also come into play. It's easily my favorite game in the collection.

![]()
With Survival Scroll, I honestly hate the direction Those Games Extremes takes it. I'm sure some will appreciate it, since it becomes more like the ads with soldiers gradually gaining more troops, getting stronger, and becoming more well-armored before facing a foe at the end. It's also still pretty strategic and prioritizes reaction time. However, I think Spellbinding Scroll felt more creative by making it about captivating people and winning them over with your charm, rather than gunning baddies down. I considered it a more clever approach to the formulaic concept. So to get something that does look like everything else makes it feel a little less special.
I feel like Those Games Extreme is a more specialized entry in this collection. People new to the series would be better off trying the first or second installment. While some of those stages may be easier, you'd get a bit more variety. If you do like the past games and especially loved certain minigames like Color Lab, then it's worth looking into picking up.
Listen Up! We Tried to Make "Those Games" Even More Extreme! Some Things Have to be Learned the Hard Way! is available for the Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC.

SAG-AFTRA, a labor union representing actors and other talents across several mediums, has filed an unfair labor practice charge against Epic Games and Fortnite for its use of an AI version of Darth Vader.
Last week, Epic Games introduced a conversational AI version of the iconic Star Wars character, which responds to voice commands by players in Fortnite during its latest season themed around the sci-fi franchise. Darth Vader can join the player's squad and then hold conversations with them, which leads to some interesting exchanges.
![]()
The guild says that Epic Games "chose to replace the work of human performers with A.I. technology" and it "did so without providing any notice of their intent to do this and without bargaining with us over appropriate terms."
"We celebrate the right of our members and their estates to control the use of their digital replicas and welcome the use of new technologies to allow new generations to share in the enjoyment of those legacies and renowned roles," SAG-AFTRA said in a statement. "However, we must protect our right to bargain terms and conditions around uses of voice that replace the work of our members, including those who previously did the work of matching Darth Vader's iconic rhythm and tone in video games."
The estate of the late James Earl Jones, Darth Vader's voice actor in the Star Wars films, was on board with the addition to the game, but SAG-AFTRA thinks that it should be included in the discussion for things like this moving forward.
"James Earl felt that the voice of Darth Vader was inseparable from the story of Star Wars, and he always wanted fans of all ages to continue to experience it," Jones' family said in a statement last week. "We hope that this collaboration with Fortnite will allow both longtime fans of Darth Vader and newer generations to share in the enjoyment of this iconic character."
SAG-AFTRA says it represents "approximately 160,000 actors, announcers, broadcast journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers, news editors, program hosts, puppeteers, recording artists, singers, stunt performers, voiceover artists and other entertainment and media professionals."

The times change almost as often as the seasons, but a reliable constant in the world of gaming is those seasons that beckon new Call of Duty content for gamers to enjoy.
Season three of Black Ops 6 and Warzone has flown by. Verdansk's return to mark season three brought a lot of gamers back into the fold for battle royale, but the content drops are scheduled to continue for the next few months ahead of another new CoD game later this year.
That new CoD game may find itself revealed to the world not long after season four begins, but there's still plenty of calendar for Activision to fill with limited-time events, new skins, and other seasonal events that the series has become known for over the years.
Here's when you can expect to play new content in CoD, along with what you can expect to find when you boot the game back up with your pals for some public match stomping, ranked play, or anything in between.
BO6 season 4 release date and countdown
![]()
BO6 season four is set to begin on May 29 at 11am CT. The update will most likely be downloadable ahead of time, but this countdown below shows exactly how much time is left until the beginning of the new season and when it will become playable:
Interestingly, season four of CoD drops a day before the midseason update for Marvel Rivals, scheduled for May 30. Competitive gamers may be faced with a choice of whether or not they want to do battle in Verdansk or with Ultron as the calendar flips to June.
What's in BO6 season 4?
![]()
Little is known right now about what season four will bring for BO6 and Warzone, but you can count on new weapons, new multiplayer maps, new limited-time events, and potentially another new Zombies map. It's also safe to expect another brand collab, similar to how BO6 has had collabs with Squid Game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Jay & Silent Bob.
For Warzone, there may be updates to the Verdansk map along with other limited-time modes, new features, new Perks, or even new equipment or contracts for players to sink their teeth into in battle royale.
More news about BO6 season four is expected in the coming days ahead of its launch, so stay tuned for confirmed information shortly.

The Parks Fest event has an array of special popcorn buckets you can unlock, but all of them require you to complete secret tasks in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of these duties is called Oh, Bother, and you're not given any information about it.
The name of this quest is a small hint that points you in the right direction, but even if you know what it's referencing, it can still be fairly tricky to figure out what needs to be done. Here's how to complete Oh, Bother in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

To finish the Oh, Bother duty, you need to craft Pooh's Popcorn Bucket in DDV. Oh, Bother is a phrase commonly used by Winnie the Pooh in Disney, so the name of this quest is a reference to this line that's meant to help you deduce what needs to be done.
Making Pooh's Popcorn Bucket is quite a process since you have to gather all of the event materials, combine them at a crafting station, and claim your reward. The most complex part of this task is gathering all of the Buttons you need for it.
How to craft Pooh's Popcorn Bucket in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To make Pooh's Popcorn Bucket, you need Green Buttons, Flower Buttons, red Buttons, and Blue Buttons. Here's how many you need of each kind and how to acquire them.
The Parks Fest event is an annual occurrence, but the Oh, Bother duty hasn't always been around, so there's a decent chance you may have already made Pooh's Popcorn Bucket before this task was available to complete. If so, you may be seeking a way to get it done without gathering all of the supplies to craft a new one.
There's only one way to avoid making this item again, and it's to use the machine unlocked during The Uncrafting Station quest. You can uncraft your old Pooh's Popcorn Bucket or any other bucket you may have to break down all required materials for a small Dreamlight cost. To access this quest and machine, you first need to unlock the Cheshire Cat.
Oh, Bother reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Completing the Oh, Bother task gets you one Pooh's Popcorn Bucket furniture item and one Pooh's Handheld Popcorn Bucket accessory item. Both items are visually the same, but one can be placed anywhere in the world, while the other can be equipped as an accessory item you carry around the valley.
If you're hoping to unlock more special buckets you can accessorize with or place around your village, consider working on Craftily Ever After and Destination: Imagination next.

Overwatch 2 just revealed its Street Fighter 6 collaboration skins coming to the game tomorrow, and, damn. What is Widowmaker doing with all that ass, double cheeked up on a Monday afternoon?
The sniper's Cammy costume is just one of eight new skins hitting the OW2 store tomorrow in its latest collab. And while it may be the most popular in certain sections of the internet for "reasons," it's just the start of what may be OW2's coolest collab yet.

Juno as Chun-Li might be the most adorable thing I have ever seen. I mean, just look at her. The company knows exactly how popular the Martian cutie has become, and this is likely just another in a long line of future collab skins for their newest franchise face.
Speaking of franchise faces with a lot of skins, there's also Kiriko as Juri, who is looking incredibly badass, although the image provided by Blizzard does not specify whether or not the support hero has her feet and toes out like the SF6 fighter. I will have to confirm myself soon.
And then come the other icons. We have Hanzo looking pretty hilarious as Ryu with his enthusiastic Hadouken face, and Soldier: 76 as Guile with his iconic, unique hairstyle that can only be described as "emergency food plate."
Rounding out the collab are three more incredible skins, including Sigma looking spot-on as M. Bison, Zenyatta wishing he could stretch his limbs as Dhalsim, and fittingly, Winston as the animalistic sweetheart tour guide Blanka.

I know before I even write this article that most of the comments will be screaming SILKSONG at me while waving their Team Cherry flags in anticipation of Summer Games Fest's hopeful announcement, but I'm still going to write this up in hopes someone has an alternative take (Arceus willing.)
So hello there, my little bots and bottettes, and welcome to the 300-word section where I pander to the indie community to help me pick out some cool upcoming games to get excited for. I've already got a backlog that's too big to talk about, but gosh darnit, will that stop me from grabbing more games to hopefully find time to play when I have a chance to breathe?
This week, I want to talk about Indies, and yes, I'm aware that even saying that name is pretty open-ended nowadays, but I wanted to reach out to the Destructoid community to ask you all what is on your radar for upcoming indie games?
And to add something to the discussion, so you all aren't doing the heavy lifting. I'll tell you some of mine! Obviously, I need to highlight Date Everything, releasing June 26 for consoles and PC, that lets you date all the inanimate objects in your house and is filled to the brim with talented voice actors like Matt Mercer. There is also Bitcraft Online, an indie MMO that looks like if Runescape mixed with Minecraft, that I'm hopeful for coming out on June 20.
Killing Floor 3 (is that even still an indie?) is also one of the biggest releases this year and set for release end of July, and oh! oh! I nearly forgot Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 (How could I!?), coming on the Switch 2 launch on June 5.
I really need to find time to play all of these.
So that's just a sprinkle of the things I'm excited for. But what about you!? Let me know in the comments an indie game coming out, maybe this year or next, and why you think I should check it out, as well as your fellow readers!

Here we are again, gamers and viewers. Another episode of The Last of Us has come and gone, and it's got people talking all across the internet. And with good reason.
Season two's penultimate episode, "The Price," was an excellent episode of television. There's no debating that. But the show's continued handling of the game's events is leaving a lot to be desired for many, myself included, especially since this particular episode contained one of the most important and emotional scenes from the entire game franchise.
Spoilers lie ahead for both the show and The Last of Us Part II game, so be warned.

The porch scene. Oh, the porch scene from the ending of TLOU2, how beautiful and painful and iconic you are. And how wishy-washy I feel about the show's portrayal of it by comparison.
The overwhelmingly emotional encounter between Joel and Ellie, the last time the two spoke to each other before he gets murdered by Abby, ended off this week's episode the same way it capped off the incredibly devastating events of the game...but this time, without nearly as much weight as it should have had.
In the game, the revelatory scene is presented right at the conclusion of the game, after Ellie has gone through hell and back and slaughtered dozens, only to let Abby survive. It's one of the biggest emotional gut-punches in gaming, finding out that Joel and Ellie had somewhat reconciled before he died, and that the two were going to attempt to reconnect after having their connection severed in the wake of Ellie finding out what Joel did at the end of the first game. It's the final kick in the stomach from a game that provides many.
And instead, here in the show, it's presented before we see much of Ellie's journey into Seattle as she sinks further and further into her quest for revenge, becoming something of a monster throughout. It just does not hit the same whatsoever, and it's really unfortunate.
The show also combined the porch scene with the TLOU2 scene where Ellie discovered the truth about the Fireflies in Salt Lake City, which is another unfortunate byproduct of the different mediums. I get it, it makes sense to do so, because having Ellie trek off to Utah wouldn't work as well as it did in the game.
But the show replacing Ellie's growing resentment for Joel with his decision to lie about the circumstances surrounding Eugene's death does not hold a candle to her being upset about finding out about Joel's murder spree in the Fireflies hospital.
It also makes sense to have the "forgiveness" revelation in this episode and not wait on it for a couple more years for season three to air, but man, it really takes away a lot of the power and weight of that scene.
In the game, Ellie knew the truth about what Joel did. She knew it deep down before he ever confessed in Salt Lake City. She knew it, and she ignored it and hoped it wasn't true because it was too horrifying to deal with. You see it through the number of flashbacks throughout the game that the show was forced to speedrun through, and as is often the case in the different mediums, it ended up feeling rushed.
Judging from reactions I'm seeing online today, many are calling "The Price" the best episode of the series, period. It's being lauded for its writing and other spot-on recreations from the game (the museum portrayal was beautiful) by some, while others like me are feeling the disappointment of how the biggest and most important scene was portrayed. I appreciate the episode for what it is, and the performances by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey sold the scene and its emotions well.
I fully understand why changes and concessions have to be made when translating the events from a game to a TV show. It must be very difficult to pull off. But for me, it just doesn't compare.
So, I ask you, dear reader, how do you feel about this season of the show and its handling of the game's iconic porch scene?

The Operation Downpour Simulation event is now live in Genshin Impact 5.6, and it offers some amazing rewards for those keen to participate.
The new war game event went live earlier on May 19, and there are plenty of stages to complete. A few of the stages will unlock later this week, and this guide will provide you with all the necessary information.
Table of contents
How to unlock the Operation Downpour Simulation Event in Genshin Impact
The first task is to go to Romaritime Harbor at the start of Fontaine and speak with Turenna. She will then ask you to take part in the new war game that she and Enghiene have developed, which is, of course, part of the Operation Downpour Simulation Event.
You'll have to be at least Adventure Rank 20+ and must have completed the Archon Quest Prologue - Act 3.
How to play the Operation Downpour Simulation Event in Genshin Impact
The event works like any typical war game; you'll have to strategically pick your pieces and deploy them on the battlefield. Each piece has different deployment patterns and traits, and they will lock onto targets based on their own traits. This is important to keep in mind during deployment.
Before discussing the win condition, let's take a look at the currently available stages and the enemy formations to expect.
The win condition is fulfilled by either defeating the defending formation or by having more progress against your opponents. Always make sure to deploy carefully based on the traits of your character to increase the chances of your success.
Once we have more information about the next stages, they will be updated on this guide.
Operation Downpour Simulation Event stages schedule in Genshin Impact
Here's the full release schedule of the Operation Downpour Simulation Event.
Operation Downpour Simulation Event rewards
Here are all the rewards available with the event (updated for the first four stages).
It's likely that the next stages will have similar rewards, so there's plenty of valuables to be added. The latest war game event will be running until June 3, so there's a lot of time for us to complete all the stages.

We're almost in the summer season of 2025 already, if you can believe it. The hype train will power up for all sorts of new gaming releases soon, and that includes Call of Duty.
Year in and year out, the CoD cycle chugs on. Black Ops 6's days will soon be numbered, and a new CoD will be revealed, with all signs pointing to the 2025 title being another Black Ops game and potentially a direct sequel to Black Ops 2.
![]()
The full reveal of the new CoD may not be for a while, but we have already gotten a taste of how the formula may be changing this time around, and it's good news for a specific section of the fanbase: welcome back, wall-running.
It started with a TikTok video, as is usually the case these days. The video in question showed a player wall-running in Verdansk, teasing a gameplay mechanic that was a staple in the series for a few entries, namely games like Black Ops 3, Black Ops 4, and Infinite Warfare. With viral videos like this, you always have to question their validity, but it appears to be real.
This morning, data miners have found strings of data within BO6 itself that likely explain the TikTok and how the player was able to pull off the wall-running in the first place. Somehow, likely because the new CoD will replace BO6 in CoD HQ, the controversial movement mechanic is already in place, and players who hack or manipulate data somehow may be able to use it.
While not quite the jetpack movement of games like Advanced Warfare, wall-running may introduce another skill gap to movement, similar to how BO6's omnimovement changed up the franchise this year. And it'll be a love-it-or-hate-it situation, just as it was in past games.
CoD leakers have several things to say about what the new game, including that it will be led again by Treyarch, include remastered BO2 maps, mark the return of round-based Zombies, and re-introduce a Pick-10 create-a-class system similar to BO2's.
The earliest we could see the new CoD title would be on June 9 at the Xbox Games Showcase, so potential confirmation of the above rumors may be just weeks away.

Disney Dreamlight Valley loves to challenge players with vague hints and riddles waiting to be solved. The Parks Fest event has quite a few of them to tackle, including the Destination: Imagination duty.
All of the prizes featured in this event are unique and worth adding to your collection, but you can only earn them if you finish several special quests. They're all decently tricky to solve, so here's how to complete Destination: Imagination in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

To complete the Destination: Imagination duty in DDV, you need to craft one Figment Popcorn Bucket. This clue is one of the trickiest ones to solve unless you're a big Disney Parks fan. The Destination: Imagination hint is a reference to the Journey Into Imagination with Figment attraction, which is a ride found at Epcot.
The first step for this quest is to gather all of the Buttons you need to make the popcorn bucket. Once you have them, head to a crafting station and locate the Figment Popcorn Bucket recipe in the Furniture section. Craft it and claim your reward from the Dreamlight page to complete this task.

The Figment Popcorn Bucket can be made with Green Buttons, Flower Buttons, Purple Buttons, and Red Buttons. Here's how many you need and how to get all Buttons required to make this item.
Gathering all the materials for this task is a lengthy process since some Buttons are difficult to get. If you have already crafted this bucket or another one in previous installments of the event, you can use the Uncrafting Station to get your resources back and make it again.
To do so, you first need to unlock the Cheshire Cat. He's one of the most complex characters to recruit, so before you can acquire his special machine, you first need to unlock Alice and finish quests like It's All Nonsense! and Furniture Fluster.
Once you have him, you need to progress your friendship to level seven to tackle The Uncrafting Station quest. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it if you don't want to gather all of the items needed for the Figment Popcorn Bucket again.

Destination: Imagination reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Completing the Destination: Imagination task unlocks the Figment Popcorn Bucket furniture item and the Figment's Handheld Popcorn Bucket accessory. One can be placed anywhere around your village or home, and the other can be carried around as a fun accessory. There are more buckets you can craft, so next, you might try working on Craftily Ever After or Oh, Bother.

The Parks Fest event has some of the coolest rewards you can earn in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but unlocking them is quite a process, as you have to tackle many tough event duties. One of the many quests you need to complete is Craftily Ever After.
Figuring out what needs to be done for the duty is fairly tricky since its name is only a vague hint. This quest isn't too tough to get done once you know what you need to do. Here's how to complete Craftily Ever After in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

To complete the Craftily Ever After Dreamlight duty, you need to craft one Cinderella Popcorn Bucket. The title of this duty is a reference to the popular Disney phrase "Happily ever after," which is commonly associated with princesses like Cinderella. It's not a super obvious connection, so it's easy to get stuck on this task.
It's an expensive item to make, and needs lots of specific Parks Fest event items to craft. Here's a full breakdown of everything you need to do to complete this task.

The Cinderella Popcorn Bucket can be crafted using Green Buttons, Purple Buttons, Blue Buttons, and Red Buttons in DDV. You need quite a lot of each, so here's a full breakdown of all the required materials and how to get each one.
If you already crafted this bucket during a previous run of the event and don't want to gather all of the required Buttons to make it again, you can use the Uncrafting Station to disassemble and reassemble this item for the duty. This special machine is unlocked during The Uncrafting Station quest, which is the Cheshire Cat's level seven friendship quest.

There are some interesting trophies to unlock in The Precinct, and the Career Limiting Move is one that will require you to drive a vehicle and park it in the Chief's Space.
You'll come across plenty of vehicles as you level up as an officer by gaining experience points. This will unlock new police cars to utilize, but for this objective, you can use any vehicle. Park in the right spot, and you will be awarded a new achievement trophy.
How to park in the Chief's spot in The Precinct
You'll need a vehicle for this job, any will do. Want to use a garbage truck? Well, I haven't tested one of those yet, but the SUV worked, so you should be fine. Having a bigger car will help, since you may need to knock the chief's vehicle from its spot.
You'll need to enter the police station's parking area, so drive around it until you find the entrance and head in.
![]()
The parking spot may have an Orange muscle waiting against the wall (as shown in the image above), which is the Chief's car. The spot where it's parked is the Chief's Space/Spot, where you'll have to park your vehicle. If the car isn't there, no sweat, just look for the name plague on the wall that says "Police Chief."
The easy way is to roll back, line your car up against the Chief's, and just smash it. Yes, there's no subtlety about what you're doing, but the Chief's car isn't going to create space on its own. The only option is to keep hitting it till the Chief's car vacates the parking spot. Don't worry, he won't mind.
If you're really against a little car-on-car violence, then you could simply get in and move the chief's car, instead. But this privilege only comes once you've leveled up sufficiently, so it could take a lot more time than the first method.
Once the car has been moved away, carefully park your vehicle in the same spot. It's pretty easy to understand you're in the correct spot since it's marked against the wall. Park up and get out of the car. If the parking is done properly, it will automatically complete the achievement and add the relevant trophy to your collection.
