PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 9:00 AM When you think of Fromsoftware's RPGs - the studio's accumulated Souls games and soulslikes, like Elden Ring, Sekiro, and of course Dark Souls itself - you likely remember the struggles, the ardor, and the world's unremitting brutality. Lordran, Drangleic, Yharnam, and the Lands Between are often stark and cruel places, where only raw force and sheer, iron-tough will can keep you alive. But there's a boss fight in Dark Souls 3 where that all changes. Your battle against the Dancer of the Boreal Valley feels more like ballet, or a figure skating routine, albeit soaked in blood. Combine that vicious elegance with the fast-paced, agile combat of Stellar Blade, and you get close to Tsarevna, a new hack-and-slash game inbound for Steam. |
PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 8:03 AM We're now a couple of weeks into Dune Awakening's life, and the MMO is still hard at work refining its experience and (metaphorically speaking) shaking sand out of all the places it shouldn't be. However, one frustrating occurrence that has been almost impossible to prevent is getting squished by kamikaze ornithopter pilots, but the new Dune Awakening update that just dropped finally takes a swipe at it. It also makes adjustments to PvP respawn timers and fixes loads more bugs that have been plaguing the game. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Best survival games, Best MMOs, Dune Awakening release date |
PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 8:02 AM Well, this certainly makes me optimistic for the long-term future of Broken Arrow. Somewhere between Command and Conquer, Warno, and World in Conflict, from what I've played of the realistic RTS so far, it already feels like it could be one of the strongest in the genre. But even then, developer Steel Balalaika seemingly refuses to rest on any laurels. When Broken Arrow's advanced-access period began on Steam, players shared frustration that the game's skirmish mode wasn't playable in a 1v1 configuration - if you wanted to practice your strategies against the CPU, and get used to all the units outside of the campaign, you had to find multiplayer companions. Responding to those initial criticisms, Steel Balalaika has already overhauled its strategy debut. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Best war games, Best tank games, Best strategy games |

PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 7:46 AM Asus ROG has unveiled a new Astral RTX 5080 graphics card decked out with the coveted Dhahab treatment, meaning it contains full 24-carat gold. While pricing hasn't been confirmed, it's expected to cost less than its elusive gold RTX 5090 sibling, which has become nearly impossible to find at anything close to its MSRP. Both the GeForce RTX 5090 and the GeForce RTX 5080 sit on our list of the best graphics cards of 2025. The RTX 5080 in particular is a fantastic option for gamers on a budget, delivering great performance in our benchmark tests in Cyberpunk 2077 while being a fraction of the cost of the RTX 5090. Owning an RTX 5080 with the aesthetic of a gold brick would certainly be a flex over other Nvidia RTX 5080 owners, and it might be the next best thing for those who missed the boat on the gold 5090. However, a gold 5080 just doesn't carry the same prestige as a gold 5090, does it? This is where scalpers ruined everything. PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 7:48 AM Genshin Impact banners rotate every few weeks on a precise schedule, and we always know what to expect thanks to regular updates from Hoyoverse. The developer of the anime game always keeps its fans in the loop with regular livestreams and social media updates, so you can plan where you want to spend your hard-earned Primogems. With a three-week turnaround for banners, the roster of Genshin Impact characters is constantly changing, and the free PC game regularly introduces two new characters to wish for. Every limited-time character banner, or event wish, contains a five-star character and three four-star characters with increased drop rates. PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 7:42 AM Nvidia is reportedly lining up a new version of its flagship gaming GPU for release, with a lesser spec than the standard card. With strict US export restrictions on its most powerful tech, Nvidia has apparently developed a new version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 with just 24GB of VRAM, rather than the 32GB on the standard card, which is likely to be aimed at the Chinese market. One tech leaker has also alluded to "a surprise" with this graphics card, which we're hoping is a positive one. Apart from the memory and its interface, though, the core spec of this new Nvidia GPU looks very similar to the specs we tested in our GeForce RTX 5090 review. The new variation of Nvidia's best GPU could reportedly be called the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 DD, and is reportedly based on a variant of the GB202 GPU used in the standard 5090, called GB202-240-K*-A1, and it apparently keeps all the key parts enabled. PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 7:19 AM Dark fantasy action RPG Lost in Random was one of my favorite surprises in recent years. Drawing inspiration from Brothers Grimm's dark fairy tales, the work of Tim Burton, and the classic Oddworld games, indie developer Zoink created a striking and inventive tale in a world where all fates are determined by the roll of dice. Four years on, the studio is now part of Thunderful, and it's just launched a roguelike sequel called Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 6:36 AM We've jumped around the Call of Duty Black Ops timeline a fair bit already - the six games we've had so far have taken us from the Cold War to the year 2070 and back again, plus several spots in between. The upcoming Black Ops 7 lands on a near-future point between Black Ops 2 (which was set in 2025) and Black Ops 3 (which played out across the late 2060s), and clearly features lots of advanced tech, judging by last week's reveal trailer. This setting, combined with leaks and rumors, has led to many people theorizing and hoping that an advanced, Black Ops 3-style movement system would return for BO7. However, it's now been confirmed that there won't be that big of a gameplay leap, movement-wise, from Black Ops 6 to Black Ops 7, with no wall-running or jetpacks. PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 5:53 AM On Steam and other aggregators, Mindseye reviews remain relatively unenthusiastic. The debut game from Build A Rocket Boy, the studio created by former GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and Rockstar producer Leslie Benzies, Mindseye has been criticized by both players and publications, which cite issues with technical performance, repetitive mechanics, and uninteresting visual design. However, on some platforms, including social media, posts have appeared that have a more positive timbre, likening Mindseye to the launch version of Cyberpunk 2077 and praising the game's narrative premise. In several instances, these posts have the exact same wording and punctuation, and are characteristic of bot-generated comments uploaded by fake accounts. PCGamesN Wednesday, June 18, 2025 5:49 AM You don't often see a gaming laptop for a price this low, while still offering a decent spec, but this $648 MSI gaming laptop deal genuinely delivers the goods. Not only does it contain a proper Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 gaming GPU, but it even includes a fast 144Hz screen, 16GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i5 CPU. You'll have to be quick, though, as Walmart says there are only a few left in stock. The laptop version of the Nvidia GPU in this MSI Thin laptop is quite unusual, as it contains the same core spec as the desktop GeForce RTX 4060, whereas you usually expect the laptop models to have a lesser spec. That's not the case here, though, with the GPU in this laptop giving you 3,072 CUDA cores and 8GB of dedicated GDDR6 VRAM, just like the desktop card – the only difference is that the laptop model has lower clock speeds. I've seen this laptop's price drop below $700 before, but I've never seen it go this cheaply before, making it one of the best gaming laptop deals I've seen. Here are the goods you can buy, including prices:
As a note, you can only find the goods within Shin-Osaka station. You'll have to go to the official Osaka-Kansai Expo store.
Myaku-Myaku is a yuru-chara and mascot for the Expo. Fans have described it as "creepy but cute" and it's popular both in real-life and on social media. Some have wore cosplay of Myaku-Myaku to events like Comiket, and others jokingly refer to it as Myaku-Myaku-sama and treat it like some sort of deity.

It's finally time to uncover the secrets inside Skull Rock in Disney Dreamlight Valley. To venture inside, you need to unlock and tackle the A Forgotten Name quest, which is a pretty tough one to work through.
If you're struggling to acquire this quest or work through any of the steps included in it, we've got you covered. Here's a complete walkthrough for the A Forgotten Name quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to get A Forgotten Name quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
![]()
The A Forgotten Name quest seems to trigger randomly after you've completed all story quests featured in the main storyline. It seems to be a bit glitchy, as I had to reload the game around four times before it decided to appear.
If you're not seeing this quest, close out of the game and reboot it entirely. Repeat this process until you get it to appear. If this still doesn't work, you may need to make sure you have all story quests done.
How to complete A Forgotten Name in Disney Dreamlight Valley
This guide is a work in progress and is receiving live updates as we work through this quest.

Peter Pan has officially arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Although the original Lost Boys aren't here for now, he'll eventually recreate a Dreamlight Valley version after unlocking and progressing through his storyline. Until then, we're venturing off into Skull Rock.
How to find Peter Pan in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You'll find Peter Pan inside Skull Rock after finishing the Forgotten's questline. After concluding the main storyline, you'll unlock the Forgotten's "A Forgotten Name" quest, letting you unlock them as a character and, later on, Peter Pan.
Gameloft originally introduced this mission during the Mysteries of Skull Rock update and requires you to progress far enough into the main storyline to have met the Forgotten. If you've already reached this point in the story, you'll find A Forgotten Name in your quest log, ready to complete.
However, there is a chance it won't appear right away. At the time of writing, there's a delay with the quest activating, requiring you to wait for it to randomly activate. If it hasn't appeared in your quest log, try restarting Disney Dreamlight Valley a couple of times. In most cases, that'll start the mission, letting you progress with the story.
Skull Rock location
Skull Rock is a large rock formation along the southeast side of Dazzle Beach. After entering the beach, turn toward the eastern half of the beach toward the small, circular island to the south that holds the seven orb pillars from the game's main story. You'll find Skull Rock next to this southern island that, as of the Mysteries of Skull Rock update, is now accessible to enter.
![]()
Depending on how far you are into other character's friendship quests, you'll have likely visited Skull Rock in the past. In particular, helping characters like Nala, Stitch, and Prince Eric will eventually lead to you finding this spot. You also needed to locate this landmark during the main storyline as you complete the Between a Skull Rock and a Hard Place quest. Given how infrequently you visit it, it's easy to forget where it is and need a quick reminder.
At the time of writing, limited information is known about each of Peter Pan's quests. We'll continue to update this page with more details as they become available.

Fortnite LEGO Expeditions might appear all cutesy at first, but you can come across deadly enemies of all types. If you're not healing in time, you can die quite a lot, which will ultimately lead to mission failure.
While the mode offers respawn, there's an upper limit on how many times you can die and return. The respawn system is useful in desperate situations if your teammates can't save you in time with a revive. That said, the best solution is to not die in the first place, which is achievable when you manage to heal yourself.
How do you heal yourself in Fortnite LEGO Expeditions?
Like the OG modes, you can heal yourself with the help of consumables. Occasionally, you'll find an item with a red-colored body and a blue head. This item will be shown at the bottom right corner of your main screen (just like in the screenshot below).
This item is known as Super Smoothie, which helps to recover your life when there are few HP left. Healing is simple: press the Q button, and your character will consume a smoothie and magically recover your health. However, you can take damage and die since there's a mini delay between consuming the item and restoring your health.
![]()
I have understood that it's best to heal yourself when you're far from the enemies. Avoid this advice if you're in a fight and about to lose your life. When rotating from one point to another on the map, check your health gauge at the bottom left corner and heal yourself. Per my understanding, no system auto-restorates health by default.
How do you obtain Super Smoothie in Fortnite LEGO Expeditions?
There are two main ways of obtaining this valuable item in Fortnite LEGO Expeditions (in a consistent fashion).
You can also get them from chests spawn across the map. So far, I haven't located too many chests on the maps, and some of them are hidden in tricky areas (making it hard for you to find them). To heal yourself, I would rather rely on eliminating enemies and saving civilians than go treasure-hunting.

After a few hours of gameplay at an early access event, I can confidently say that Borderlands 4 will be one of the more fun titles in the franchise from a base gameplay perspective.
Last month, 2K Games invited me to play Borderlands 4 early at a preview event, and I came away much more excited for the new title than I was originally, and I was already pretty hyped. A lot of that has to do with how it feels to pick up and play, which I felt like some of the other games in the series had some issues with.
Smooth moves
![]()
Gearbox gave me the chance to try out one of the earliest missions in Borderlands 4 as a level five Rafa Vault Haunter, working with a local militia group on the new planet Kairos. Like previous games in the series, the low-level early gameplay before you find any decent weapons or level up your character feels a bit sluggish, but the game's new movement mechanics helped mitigate that feeling.
Borderlands 4 characters are able to double jump and glide, dodge backwards, forwards, and side to side, reminiscent of how movement works in DOOM. These changes go a long way in making the game feel more active than ever, along with a grappling hook that you can use to climb to higher areas, launch yourself into the air and glide above the battlefield, or pick up exploding barrels and launch them at enemies.
In the mission I was tasked with playing, I unlocked the new Digirunner, which is your character's personal vehicle. Once unlocked, you can digitally spawn it into the world and ride it at any given time with the press of a button, similar to Destiny 2's Sparrow, meaning traversal throughout the open world is no longer a slog. No more needing to rely on Catch-a-Ride.
At a base level, the Digirunner isn't super fast or maneuverable, but when playing through the game, you can unlock both upgrades and cosmetics to soup it up to make it your own. It has its own front-mounted weapon to mow down enemies, so if you really want, you can turn it into yet another weapon to do battle with while exploring the open world, which is populated with random enemies and events that spawn at random.

Oh, and all of that hubbub about the game not having a minimap and instead opting for a compass? I hated it at first, but after a couple hours of playing, you forget about it. This may prove more difficult for series veterans who are so accustomed to the minimap, but as someone who played the series a lot at launch and then not much since, it didn't bother me after a while.
In place of the minimap, the game utilizes a bot named ECHO-4 that scans the immediate area to find anything of note. ECHO-4 becomes a big part of the gameplay loop the more you play, marking things like grapple points, explosive barrels, and other items of interest. ECHO-4 also has its own button, so pressing it to scan your vicinity becomes habitual over time.
Up your arsenal
![]()
Weapons. Borderlands has always been about weapons, and Borderlands 4 ups the ante with its Licensed Parts system, which allows for different parts of guns to utilize different manufacturers. Returning are Tediore, Maliwan, Jakobs, Vladof, and Torgue, with newcomers Order, Ripper, and Daedalus.
The higher the rarity of the gun, the more Licensed Parts it has (green has one, blue has two, etc.). I experienced both the upside and downside to this system, as a handful of weapons I found were absolutely useless due to the combinations just not jiving together. But, in the end, that's the game, isn't it? The chase for randomized loot. That's what people love about Borderlands.
Mitigating the struggle of targeted loot grinding, however, is Moxxi's Big Encore Machine. For certain boss fights and missions, the machine will allow you to hop right back and replay them for a chance to get a specific weapon. For a price, you can do this to your heart's content and no longer have to save and quit, and it's a godsend for those looking to grind out the best possible weapons.
One of the other biggest changes in the game's basic gameplay loop is Repkits, which are an additional piece of loadout gear for you to equip that basically functions as an active healing mechanic. Repkits roll with their own random, unique buffs, abilities, and cooldowns, and are your way of staying in the fight. They remind me a lot of the Stim tactical item in recent Call of Duty games.
It's another new mechanic that players must get in the habit of. Healing or using your Repkits to give you a buff to something like movement speed is a core part of the loop when fighting enemies, and it really feels like a nice new touch to make everything feel a bit more active and frantic.
![]()
BL4's gear slots also include a dedicated one for heavy weapons like rocket launchers that operate on a cooldown, and throwables that now include throwing knives. One of those that I got to use had a ridiculous roll on it that basically allowed me to one-shot any enemy with a critical hit, and had a very short cooldown on kills. The wild and silly builds will go hard, for sure.
So, I think there will be an initial period of adjustment for players to get used to all of the new mechanics in Borderlands 4. But once that's over, I think that most will feel as I do that it enriches and improves the minute-to-minute gameplay, thus creating a better overall experience.

One of the many changes in Borderlands 4 is the removal of the minimap, which has been a big point of controversy surrounding the game's announcement.
In May, I visited Gearbox Software to play BL4 and speak to senior project producer Anthony Nicholson. After playing the game and speaking with Nicholson, I fully understand what the team is going for now, and I don't think players will miss the minimap after a while.
![]()
"This was more of a philosophy based on the design of the game," Nicholson said of the minimap no longer being in BL4. "And so, because we want you to be able to go out and explore more. Borderlands has always been a game where you can explore and go seek out things and collectibles and points of interest and different things like that as you travel and do your missions."
The minimap has been seemingly replaced with a robo sidekick named ECHO-4, who functions as an NPC partner similar to Destiny 2's Ghost (but silent, thankfully), judging from my playtime with BL4 at the hands-on event. With the press of a button, the robot sidekick scans your immediate area, points you toward a waypoint if you're on a mission, and highlights grapple points, vending machines, or other interesting items.
"Because we have more activities that people can do and more side content that people can do, we wanted you to be able to go and explore and find different things," Nicholson continued. "That, coupled with the addition of ECHO-4...that makes it to where, like, we felt we didn't need also a mini map, because those two things are very, very strong to get the player the agency and the urgency to be able to do what they need to do as they travel the world."
In my hours with BL4, I disliked not having a minimap at first, so I understand where the outcry is coming from. But after playing for a while and feeling the gameplay in practice, I got used to pressing the ECHO-4 button whenever necessary, and elsewise would explore the world on my own or open up the main map in the menu. I think that's exactly the kind of cadence that the Gearbox team is going for.
![]()
I'm sure there will be some players who are staunchly anti-compass and need their minimaps back. But I also think that everyone should be open-minded and ready to give the game a chance as to how it's being presented.

I was one of the many outspoken gamers who had enough of Borderlands franchise's incessant poop and fart jokes and pithy humor, and I'm someone who LOVES poop and fart jokes. It was too much, even for me.
But after flying out to play Borderlands 4 at 2K Games last month, my experience with the game revealed a tonal shift within the title. I can't say that there won't be any poops or farts or ridiculous meme jokes within the game, but from what I played, the humor was way more subtle and still quite funny.
![]()
Gearbox heard the feedback about the game's humor loudly over BL4's six years of development. I spoke with senior project producer Anthony Nicholson, who explained that BL4 has an "evolved tone and narrative" with "dry and grounded humor" that players would come to expect, but now with way less of the over-the-top and sometimes annoying toilet humor that the games previously went all-in on.
"I mean, obviously, we hear those types of things and we see that feedback, but we're really proud of what we've done on each of the stories for all of the different reasons for each of the individual titles in the franchise," Nicholson said.
"Our writing team is exceptional. They do a really good job. Our writer's room is very experienced and they understand what it is to be able to take the approaches and they keep humor as one of those pillars of the Borderlands title for sure. And so, I think what ends up happening with this game is you see the stakes of what they are."
Nicholson said the stakes of BL4's plot are different, which helps shape the game's new tone. The primary antagonist, the Timekeeper, shifts the tone "both environmentally and narratively" to create that more grounded experience, but not without some laughs sprinkled in.
"Whenever you have a planet that's been veiled in secret for thousands of years, now a moon out of nowhere has crashed into it and disrupted everything," Nicholson said of BL4's setting of Kairos. "All of these people have been under his hand of power and subjugated for their entire existence, that changes how people approach it and how the tone kind of comes out throughout the narrative. But not without its wittiness, the banter that goes back and forth, or the side missions that have a lot of the zany and crazy stuff, too."
![]()
In my time with the game, I audibly laughed out loud a few times at some legitimately funny quips and jokes, along with the ever-present combat chatter between the Vault Hunters and their enemies as you fight. It's definitely still Borderlands, but with the maturity knob turned up a bit, and it's making for a very promising entry so far.

One of the most vocal complaints about Borderlands 3 was how easy Legendary weapons were to acquire, and Gearbox Software knows that full well and is looking to fix it in Borderlands 4.
In my handful of hours playing BL4 at a preview event in May, I got four Legendaries to drop in a variety of activities, much to the surprise and shock of the Gearbox devs watching me play. Because, in general, the loot chase is designed to be more satisfying and "viable" this time around, even with green and blue weapons equipped.
![]()
"People felt that we were a bit too generous whenever it came to Legendaries in Borderlands 3," senior project producer Anthony Nicholson told me. "So, we took that and said 'ok, what is the actual message that's here? And why were we taking that approach to being so liberal with the drops?' And so our approach [in BL4] has been to make it where the loot chase is stronger by making the lower level tier gear more viable."
Nicholson highlighted that in past games, players would reach level five or six and basically begin trashing all Common or green guns. But now, the combination of features like Licensed Parts (multiple distinct weapon manufacturer parts on the same gun) and Enhancements that provide buffs depending on equipped manufacturers, has made it to where the devs feel "a lot more confident with being able to balance out and make all of the guns and any of the gear feel viable."
"If we make the non-Legendary gear more viable and we don't have to supplement with so many other stronger, more powerful Legendaries, then now we can take those and do what we want and intended to do, which is put those dedicated drops in for our fans in our community who just love farming things," Nicholson said.
Moxie's Big Encore Machine is a big change in BL4, Nicholson noted, where you can pay a fee to replay a mission or boss fight to try and target-farm its dedicated drops more easily. I tried it myself, and I can see it being a core gameplay loop for the series' most hardcore grinders. It makes the loot farm faster and easier than ever, which is what the game truly is all about for its most dedicated players.

Borderlands 4 is made by several veterans of the series at Gearbox Software, and I sat down with one of them at a recent gameplay event where I went hands-on with the upcoming looter shooter.
Anthony Nicholson, the senior project producer on BL4, has been with the company since 2012, most recently working as the head of DLC production on Borderlands 3. We spoke for around 15 minutes about the future launch, but there was one common thread throughout: what players want matters a lot to the developers.
![]()
The landscape of player feedback and social media criticism has changed wildly over the years, with a shift towards overly negative sentiment just about everywhere you look. One can only imagine how hard that must be to navigate for developers. But according to Nicholson, it's one of the most important parts of game development.
"I'll start by saying with 100 percent genuine approach that the player is always at the forefront of our minds," Nicholson said. "As we're designing, as we're planning, we're constantly thinking about 'what does the player feel? Does the player feel awesome when they do this? Are we getting what we want from the player?'"
As head of BL3 DLC, Nicholson said he "was right there" watching player reactions to things like campaigns, live end-of-week events, and all sorts of other content drops, and so he's been attuned to feedback and how to implement it for a long time.
"Without saying like, 'hey, we're going to do every single thing that people mention or complain about, we have a vision for what we want in the bounds that we want people to be able to flex with," he said. "And whenever there's things that are genuinely not making it to where players don't feel awesome or they're not having fun with it, then we wanna look at it and approach it and see what we can do to tweak it."
Nicholson made sure to highlight how Borderlands fans are "super important" to Gearbox, and the feedback supplied by players has been "invaluable" to help keep the franchise so strong after 16 years.

There are many secret characters you can only unlock from hidden objects or certain situations in Date Everything!. Finding these characters is generally pretty tough since you likely don't know the right conditions to summon them, as is the case with Reggie.
Reggie is a fairly tricky guy to meet, but he's the final number in the basic Date-A-Dex, which means he's a must-meet if you want to unlock all entries. Once you know what needs to be done, he's easy enough to track down, so here's how to find Reggie in Date Everything!.
Table of contents
Where to find Reggie revenge (#100) in Date Everything!
![]()
You can find Reggie, also known as Regina or revenge, by achieving a hate ending with any other Dateable around the house. To do so, you essentially need to be mean, rude, or otherwise go against what a character stands for.
I summoned Regina by achieving a hate ending with Lux the light, and it was super easy to do so. Lux is very full of themselves and super into posting about their life, so making fun of them is a really easy way to instantly get a hate ending. It's generally pretty easy to tell what each character is into, so just learn what they're looking for and do the exact opposite of it to summon Reggie.
You can get a hate ending with any character to spawn Reggie. Once you have a hate ending, you can't reverse it, so choose wisely. There are many Dateables you'll love, but there are also plenty you'll love to hate, so choose a character you're not interested in getting to know better for this task. If you're not sure where to start, make your way through the list of all Dateables until you find someone you're just not into.
What is Reggie in Date Everything?
Reggie is a concept rather than an actual item, as he's the personification of revenge. Once you meet him for the first time, he adds a new app to the version of your phone that you can only see with the Dateables equipped. You can summon and chat with him whenever using this app, so you don't have to get hate endings over and over to get to know him better, although he does always appear when you do and is a big fan of all hate endings.
How to romance Reggie in Date Everything!
![]()
Reggie is one of the most complex characters to romance because you essentially need to get lots of other characters to hate you to have him fall in love with you. Becoming his friend is super easy and occurs after you have achieved a few hate endings. Becoming more than friends is a much tougher task, though, and can only be accomplished by amassing lots of hate endings.
Since Reggie is revenge, hate is his love language and the way to his heart. This doesn't mean you should be mean to him, though, as he does still appreciate pleasant conversations with you. Instead, focus on tanking your relationship with other characters around the house to win Reggie over.
If you lean into love and get lots of love ending with other characters, Reggie will come to hate you instead. It's a tough balance to find, so you need to decide early on what kind of ending you want with Reggie and whether it's worth sacrificing many other Dateables to get it.
Two other tricky characters you may want to meet next are Doug and Shadowlord. To access even more Dateables, consider working on unlocking the attic, which is one of the toughest quests to get done.

There are many unique characters you can meet around your house in Date Everything!, all of which are disguised as common household objects. Some of these characters are trickier to find than others, as they appear as items you may not know to check, as is the case with Doug.
Doug is by far one of the toughest characters to meet and is maybe the single trickiest guy to track down. He's a really interesting Dateable to know, though, so here's how to find Doug in Date Everything!.
Table of contents
Where to find Doug (#98) in Date Everything!
![]()
You can awaken Doug by staring at the wall behind the stairs for 30 seconds with your Dateviators on. This process looks completely different from awakening all other Dateables around the house, so it's pretty tricky to solve and get done. Here are the exact steps you need to follow to find him.
Every time you wish to see Doug again, you have to follow these same three steps. He never appears any faster than 30 seconds, so patience is key for summoning him. He does sometimes seem to take a bit longer to appear, so just keep your character still and he'll eventually show.
What is Doug in Date Everything?
Doug is the personification of existential dread. He's less of an object and more of a concept, although he is tied to the one specific wall, so he's one of the most unique Dateables you can meet around the house.
How to romance Doug in Date Everything!
![]()
If you want to achieve a love ending with Doug, you essentially need to stand up for yourself and not let him treat you badly. Going along with everything he says in an attempt to please him results in a friends (with benefits) ending, so be sure to get real with him and have some tough conversations if you are hoping to find love.
You need to be nice at first, then once you know him a bit better, get more real with him. I recommend waiting to do so until around the conversation where he wants to watch cars crashing on Vidbucket. This is the best point to choose honesty if you want love rather than friendship with him.
To find more Dateables you can romance, you may want to learn how to unlock the attic. You also might be interested in learning all voice actors in Date Everything! and what other projects you know them from.

Speedrunners are already breaking FNAF: Secret of the Mimic mere days after release, with some even beating the game in four minutes, proving once and for all that when it comes to the speedrunning community, anything is possible.
Of course, the legendary small time is only made possible by a glitch, but it's still pretty fascinating to see how it's done, and also, how quickly speedrunners were able to find out this information so quickly after the game's initial release.
For the initial three minutes, you play the game normally. Get out of your truck, enter the gate, and enter the facility to watch the opening musical performance. It's only after you finally get into the backrooms that the game shows its glitchy secrets. Players discovered that by going into a locker next to a specific mascot costume, you can perform a glitch where the player exits and reenters the locker, forcing the player's model into the air.
Once in the air, by pausing the game in a specific way, the game will shoot you into the ceiling and start to load a different part of the game entirely, which so happens to be the final chase sequence through the burning facility at the end of the good ending of the game. It's pretty wild to see this happen and be done so easily, with most speedrunners trying to get a world record in the margin of seconds at the time of writing.
We expect the developers to patch out this amazing glitch that has led to the game being speedrun so quickly in a alter patch, but for now it's pretty easy to replicate and can be performed by pretty much anyone with some basic instructions. Letting you get the achievement for beating the game before going against any of the game's major bosses, from Big Top to the Mimic itself.

Date Everything is all about meeting characters around your house. From your bed, walls, and windows to items scattered around, there are a whole lot of people to talk to, including a mysterious entity, Shadowlord. This one may be peculiar, but it's also pretty funny.
Table of contents
Shadowlord location in Date Everything
There are a few ways you can learn about Shadowlord. Phoenica and Maggie will both give hints about his existence, telling you there is a permanent, unnatural shadow within the house that seems out of place.
With this hint in mind, you can find and meet Shadowlord by interacting with the shadow cast by the globe in your living room. Within the same area where you met Maggie during the tutorial, you'll find a room with a piano, fireplace, and a globe next to a door, with an especially dark shadow on the floor. Interacting with this will summon Shadowlord, known ingame as xxXShadowl0rd420Xxx.
![]()
You can interact with Shadowlord at any time during the day. Although he'll suggest visiting during the night, you can spot the globe's shadow at any time, allowing you to interact in the morning, afternoon, or night, depending on your preference.
How to romance, befriend, and hate Shadowlord in Date Everything
After meeting Shadowlord, he'll initially appear in your Date-A-Dex at number 97 as "xxXShadowl0rd420Xxx." Like other dateables in Date Everything, you can achieve a friendship, love, or hate ending with Shadowlord that influences your interactions.
Regardless of the route you go, you can advance your relationship status with Shadowlord by talking to him each day. Visit him regularly to learn more about him and respond to his stories in any way you wish. Beyond this, how you react is entirely up to what ending you're going for.
![]()
Your first option is to romance Shadowlord and become lovers. As he recounts his backstory about the Great Cataclysm, Dark Armaments, and past comrades, engage with his stories and ask for more information. Occasionally, you'll find flirtatious options to pick. As you talk to him more, he'll open up to you, revealing his true identity along the way. Once he does, continue showing care in a loving way, and he'll eventually start to love you.
If you prefer befriending Shadowlord, be friendly toward him without making any flirtatious remarks. Your interactions will be mostly the same as the romance route, with you being interested in his stories and empathetic toward his past. However, you won't make romantic advances like you would in the first route.
Lastly, you can get Shadowlord to hate you. Throughout your time with him, you can express complete disinterest in his story, telling him that the interactions suck, and even call him a loser. Anything disrespectful toward him will eventually lead to him hating you. Although this sounds bad at first, it can at least lead to some unexpected outcomes, depending on which other dateables you've met.

As you climb up the various ledges of PEAK, you'll eventually come across a jungle biome that spawns an abundance of different foods from bananas to honey, but certain creatures stand in your way.
Bees, for example, have become pretty notorious. If you even get close to one of their hives, you'll be chased down by them and they will slowly chip away at your stamina and health, inflicting poison damage. Players have had a pretty hard time losing them due to their speed, though there is a way to deal with them. Somewhat.
How to escape Bees in PEAK
If you even get close to a hive, bees will begin to chase you in PEAK near instantly. You can use this opportunity to let your friends grab the hive for any food or achievements you are after, but once the bees are chasing you, be prepared to be on the run for a while.
When I was testing this, the bees seemed to chase me for a random period of time at varying speeds. Sometimes they'd chase me for up to 30 seconds, but they were slow, so I could run away, whereas other times they were insanely fast and lasted for what seemed to be forever. There's no telling which one you will encounter, but it feels like bees are a bit bugged, at least from what I could tell.
And even then, it feels like sometimes bees would disappear randomly, too.
So, how I deal with them is pretty simple: if one is chasing me, I tend not to climb, as climbing is slow and bees chip away at me while I'm climbing, leading to my death. Instead I run around a large area where possible in circles, keeping my distance until I ever get far enough away from the bees that they give up, or they randomly despawn or get stuck inside a rock due to a glitch (yes, this has happened to me more times than I like to admit.)
Once I had a bee follow me for what felt like way too long, only for them to disappear, and when I went back to the hive, there were no bees on it, so I took it and ran on the off chance they'd spawn back. It was a good day.
So to sum it all up, if bees chase you, pray you have enough space to run around until they give up and create distance from them to de-aggro. Hope it helps!

EA Sports has announced a maintenance on June 18 for multiple football titles, including EA FC 25 and the servers are down for a significant duration.
This is the first major maintenance of June, following a minor one in the first half of the month. EA Sports hasn't declared an exact reason behind today's maintenance, which could be related to the upcoming Title Update 16. Once the servers are taken down, all forms of online matchmaking will be temporarily suspended. However, the developers have also announced when the servers will return online.
Table of contents
EA FC 25 Server Maintenance schedule (June 18)
The maintenance on June 18 begins at 8:00AM UTC/1:00AM PST/3:00AM CT/4:00AM EST. Matchmaking as been locked 30 minutes prior to the start of the maintenance. Once done, you can't take part in any form of match that requires online connectivity/matchmaking with random strangers.
If there are no delays, the maintenance will be four hours long. As per the published schedule from EA Sports, the servers should be back up at 12:00PM UTC/5:00AM PST/7:00AM CT/8:00AM EST. Typically, there haven't been any incidents related to unannounced maintenance extensions this year, so we can rule that out for the time being.
Which EA FC 25 modes will be unavailable?
Any modes with online matchmaking are now disabled. You might still be able to enter modes like Ultimate Team, but you won't be able to start a match. Trying to matchmake will result in an error message, which will remain in place until the server maintenance is complete.
You can try out the Career Mode, which lets you play as a manager and player. Certain objectives, like completing matches, will reward you with Seasonal Points in Ultimate Team (and fast-track your Season 8 ladder progression). This mode doesn't require an internet connection, which is perfect for occasions like server maintenance.
Once the maintenance is over, you can enjoy modes like Ultimate Team and Online Friendlies without any further disruptions.

MonsterVine Wednesday, June 18, 2025 9:00 AM Throughout the years, Magic: The Gathering has been breaking into the games industry little by little. It originally started with a Secret Lair drop, which featured games like Fortnite and Tomb Raider. Over time, this led Wizards of the Coast to undertake larger and more ambitious collaborations.
