Is Hollow Knight Silksong on Game Pass? As one of the most wishlisted games of all time, it would be hard to have even a slight interest in video games and not know about Silksong. The Hollow Knight sequel has been teased and rumored for years, and now it's finally here.

No Man's Sky Voyagers feels, to me, like one of the game's most important overhauls yet. More fundamental than any planet, or even your home base, your ship is the centerpiece that everything in NMS revolves around. Now, it's been completely redesigned with a new 'Corvette' class that features complete, functional interiors that you and your friends can live and work in while you zoom across the galaxy. It's one of the most transformative No Man's Sky updates ever, and it's available right now.

Stalker 2 didn't land, so much as it crumpled at launch. GSC Game World's uber-punishing shooter has more than felt the weight of crippling technical issues, and a gameplay experience that didn't quite live up to its vision. Nonetheless, it's still one of the most impressive survival sims out there, and the studio has worked tirelessly to bring it up to scratch. We've already received a comprehensive roadmap that, if properly executed, will bring the best out of it. Now, the developer's confirmed that its first DLC is "in active development." By the sounds of things, it won't be long until GSC divulges the deets.

Total War Warhammer 3 patch 6.3 is upon us, and it's bringing some very welcome changes to a couple of underloved factions in the colossal strategy game. The Tomb Kings and Lizardmen are at the top of the list, with the latter even receiving a fresh cohort of blessed units, but there's more to be found elsewhere. Developer Creative Assembly has also overhauled its starting traits, introduced a new crop of unusual locations, and grimed up its battles with a little more blood.

When is the Ananta release date? Hoyoverse's influence is still going strong, as studios continue to capture its unique blend of open-world exploration, snappy combat, and ability to sink its hooks into you. The next developer dipping into the genre is NetEase Games, who are developing Ananta at their internal studio Naked Rain.

Described as an "urban open-world RPG" and originally titled, Project Mugen, Ananta can be summed up as a mix of Genshin Impact, Persona, Spider-Man, and Grand Theft Auto. If that sounds like an eclectic mix of big-budget titles, you'd be right. Not only is NetEase looking to build an immersive open-world game, there is a lot more going on under the hood that sets Ananta apart from its various influences. If you can't wait to hit those mean streets, we've got all the latest news surrounding the Ananta release date.

What are the best Elden Ring builds? The first 20 levels shape your entire class, so selecting your stats carefully is essential. While placing some stat points into faith as an Astrologer may be tempting, you're probably better off committing to the full sorcery build to maximize your damage in the late game.

The builds in this guide are not only compatible with Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, you can easily play through the entire expansion without ever swapping out any of your armor or weapons. If you've found that your build has been nerfed, never fear — grab a specific Elden Ring Great Rune. You'll be able to unlock character respec, and you can simply create a new one!

A fresh new stack of leaks has just dropped about the next generation of AMD Radeon GPUs, and they point to an extremely powerful graphics card at the top end that's at least 50% more powerful than the Radeon RX 9070 XT and could take on the future RTX 6080 from Nvidia. At the moment, AMD has no product to compete with Nvidia when it comes to high-end GPUs, but it looks as though the company is planning an all-out assault with its next generation of RDNA 5 graphics cards.

This isn't the first time we've seen rumors about a new high-end AMD GPU, with a previous leak pointing to the Radeon RX 10090 XT (or whatever it ends up being called) potentially being able to take on the RTX 5090. This latest rumor tones down the adrenaline a bit, but there's a good chance this new GPU could unseat the RTX 5080 in our guide to buying the best graphics card if this rumor is true.

Who are all the current Dreamlight Valley characters? An array of Disney characters will join you on your adventure in this adorable life sim, as you become buddies with familiar faces from your favorite animated movies. We've been playing the game for some time now, and have gotten to know everyone in the game so far, so we can help you befriend them all.

While Dreamlight Valley is a life sim, it is also very story driven, and some of the characters you come across make up part of that story. Others can be chosen and unlocked in any order from inside the Dream Castle - though you'll want to read our Disney Dreamlight Valley guide beforehand, as it recommends you spend your Dreamlight on something else before unlocking too many realms. Here though, we go through all the Disney Dreamlight Valley characters you'll come across in the story, those you can rescue from their realms, and the ones we're yet to meet.

When is the Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater release date? We've seen re-releases of the Metal Gear Solid games over the past decade since Hideo Kojima, the creator of the legendary series, left Konami back in 2015. However, this is the first time Konami has remade one of the MGS games, modernizing the visuals and presentation while maintaining the aspects fans loved about the original.

MGS 3 is known as one of the best stealth games of all time, so it's no surprise that fans are highly anticipating the Metal Gear Solid Delta release date later this year. MGS 3 is chronologically the first game in the series, introducing the world to Naked Snake. As an agent of the CIA's FOX (Force Operation X) unit, you're tasked to undergo a top-secret mission during the Cold War era. Here's everything you need to know about the MGS Delta release date.

It's only taken seven months, but the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 price has finally plunged back down to the $999 US price that Nvidia originally mooted back in January 2025. Right now, you can pick up an Asus Prime RTX 5080 graphics card from Amazon for $999.99, as long as you're an Amazon Prime subscriber, and you'll even get a copy of Borderlands 4 thrown into the bargain. Meanwhile, an MSI Shadow 5080 card is going for the same price at Walmart.

I gave this GPU a solid score of 8/10 in my Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 review, thanks to its superb gaming performance and full support for the latest Nvidia DLSS 4 suite, including multi-frame gen. It's helped by the lack of competition from AMD in this market segment right now, of course, but it's still the best GPU on our buying guide under $1,000. There's just one problem, which is that, in the US, it's rarely been available to buy for that price.

No game launches in a perfect state. In 2025, most games arrive with a day one patch to install, because devs have been working until the very last minute to polish and perfect their creation. While it's never a great experience for those of us without speedy internet connections, the flipside is, in theory, we get to play a better version of the game. Konami hasn't promised a day one patch for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater just yet, but it has said it's "investigating" some pretty major bugs a day before launch.

When is the Skate 4 release date? While we've seen plenty of early footage of Skate 4 already, EA's upcoming Skate revival is a rare case of a triple-A studio showing off very early in-development footage of a game. Though we've seen plenty of Skate 4, we can also clearly see it's not ready yet. It's already been over a decade since the last Skate game, so we can hold on a little longer.

The first Skate was among the most innovative skateboard games, from its analog control scheme and semi-open-world game structure to its more realistic, less edgy representation of the skating scene. The development team behind Skate 3 was disbanded after a bombardment on EA message boards with questions about the series and its potential return ever since. Now, the team is very open about the development process for Skate 4, so here's what we know so far.

Well, there you go. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 publisher Paradox look like they might be sticking a stake in their rather unpopular plans to sell two of the game's vampire clans as paid day-one DLC. I say "might be" because nothing specific's been committed to yet, beyond some nebulous making of "adjustments ahead of launch" in response to fan feedback on the gating-off of Lasombra and Toreador bloodsuckers.

In case you missed the announcement of these two clans being packed away into the £18.69/€21.99/$21.99 coffin of Bloodlines' Shadows and Silk DLC pack, it came right as the long-in-the-works RPG got a fresh trailer and what should hopefully be its final release date. The only ways to get the clans were to buy that pack on top of the base game, or splash out £74.99/€89.99/$89.99 for the premium edition.

Persona 5 Royal body mass scale and step counter pedometer by Tanita

Tanita has revealed a new body mass scale and a set of step counters themed after Atlus' Persona 5 Royal. The company has also opened pre-orders for the new products on its website in Japan.

The BC-203 body scale will be the primary highlight at ¥22,000 (~$148.60). It will contain measurement voices by the original Japanese voice actors behind the Persona 5 Phantom Thieves. Joker will actually count the user's body mass, and Panther, Skull, and Mona will then comment on the results.

Meanwhile, the FB-741 3D sensor step counter will not have any voices. It will instead come in ten different models designed after each individual Phantom Thief, including Crow and Violet. Each item will have the same price tag of ¥3,520 (~$23.75).

There will be even more Persona 5-themed merchandise to appear in the future, with Prime 1 Studio's 1/4 scale figure of Joker's Persona Arsene slated to appear between December 2026 and March 2027. New crossover events based on Persona 5 are also coming to more ongoing live service games like Project Sekai: Colorful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku and Overwatch 2.

Tanita will close the pre-order window for the Persona 5 Royal body mass scale and step counter on Monday, September 29, 2025. It will start delivering the orders in late December 2025.

Siliconera Header Logo Siliconera Google Preferred Search results

Earlier in August 2025, Google announced a new change to its search engine that would help determine how you will see certain sites when you look for things via "preferred sources." While the initiative is only limited to certain regions now, with the US being one of them, it is possible to start filtering and organizing your search results. That said, we'd really appreciate it if you enjoy and love Siliconera enough to consider making us of your Google preferred source sites when searching so we'll show up more often or on the first page.

Setting Siliconera, or really any site you enjoy reading and would prefer to see come up in Google search results as a preferred source ahead of things like retail stores or Reddit, is as easy as clicking a specific link. While the Google announcement featured steps you can follow to add it via search, I've found the best way is to go into Google preferences. This would be google.com/preferences/source when you are logged in to your account. You can then search for a specific site, then opt to tick a box to make it more likely to show up.

Here's a full series of screenshots I took showing how this process works.

That same page is also helpful for organizing which sites would take priority too. After adding one, it will show up in the list of "Your Sources." When a site like Siliconera is there, you can click the box next to its name to untick it and remove it from your Google preferred sources options when searching. That means it won't show up as frequently, compared to ones you did select.

We've loved sharing news, opinions, interviews, reviews, previews, and other features since 2003, and we hope we can continue serving, informing, and helping you for years to come!

miku zaku gundam

Banpresto will release a special Gundam Miku prize in its crane game machines in Japan. It'll appear in the crane game machines on September 4, 2025 for a limited time.

While the toy is a collaboration figure between Hatsune Miku and Mobile Suit Gundam, Miku is wearing a Zaku costume. Zakus are not Gundams; they are mobile suits. It's based on the Zaku Miku that appears in the "Idol Senshi" music video, which the Gundam Channel uploaded to YouTube on March 9, 2025.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EXWmuKg-RI

The music video celebrates the 45th anniversary of the Gundam franchise, as well as the 17th anniversary of Hatsune Miku. March 9 is a very important date for both parties, as it's both Zaku Day and Miku Day. The three for March can be read as either "mi" or "san," with the nine acting as "ku."

The Zaku Miku figure stands at around 15 centimeters tall, and her signature pigtails protrude from the sides of the Zaku head. She's holding a leek in her hand as well. This is a reference to the old Leekspin meme, which had a Miku version, and a possible nod to the retro vibe of the music video.

If you want a Gundam Miku figure that uses a real Gundam (and not a Zaku) as inspiration, other goods in the collaboration include a Miku figure where she's wearing an outfit like the Wing Gundam Zero from Endless Waltz.

The Gundam and Miku collaboration figure will appear in crane game machines from September 4, 2025.

Review: Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World Switch 2 Upgrade

I'm sure as we settle in on the Switch, we're going to start questioning the value of a lot of these upgrade packs and Switch 2 versions of games. With good reason, of course, since if we're being asked to pay more, it should be worth it. In the case of Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World Switch 2 Edition, I absolutely think it is worth it. So much so that I think this version, with its improved performance and delightful expansion, is better and more essential than the original

Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World starts the same as the original release. Kirby and tons of Waddle Dees find themselves pulled into a dilapidated, forgotten world. Elfilin, an adorable flying denizen of this land, acted as an aid to said Waddle Dees, until the Beast Pack attacked. Following Kirby's rescue of Elfilin to save the kidnapped characters and perhaps even find a way home. As for the expansion, which can be started and played in the midst of the original adventure or after, a meteor falls to the planet and could be a harbinger of danger and evil. However, there's still hope, as Astronomer Waddle Dee points out, as going through places to find the missing Starries could result in everyone being protected and saved.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2h3bJ8tGrj4

Since this is a Switch 2 upgrade, generally the gameplay in Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World doesn't change much. It is a 3D platformer starring Kirby. As we go through the original Forgotten Land and the altered stages from the expansion, we can use his power to inhale enemies and items to change what he is capable of doing. In the case of opponents, he can use Copy Abilities. This can be upgraded by finding blueprints in levels and taking them to the appropriate Waddle Dee in the hub town to improve them. In Mouthful Mode, he inhales a special object for a certain situational power, like a lightbulb that can illuminate switches and brighten dark areas or a water balloon form that allows him to spray water.

One of the big changes here in the Star-Crossed World expansion of Kirby and the Forgotten Land is that we get three new kinds of Mouthful Mode abilities on the Switch 2. Two of them are genuinely so good that I honestly felt like they did as much to make gameplay interesting as the Cone Mouth, Ring Mouth, and Car Mouth in the base game. Spring Mouth is most impressive, as it involves being able to perform a high jump or slam down mid-jump to deal damage, trigger switches, or break vulnerable ground. There are so many situations in which it cane be useful and used well, and it is a fantastic way for accessing secrets in levels. Plus, it's fantastic for platforming, and there are some sequences designed around it that feel so satisfying. Gear Mouth is also great, as it sort of feels like the upgraded Needle ability in some ways. You can press B to embed in a wall and roll along it, which also means being aware of vertical and horizontal opportunities. The dashing ability tied to it also allows you to cross gaps. Sign Mouth is okay, but it's more situational like Arch Mouth. It is still fun! But I felt like the other two were nearly revolutionary in what they also allow us to do in the new stages.

Speaking of the new stages, the Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World Switch 2 Edition's new levels are fantastic. I had an idea they would be great, after getting to sample the game at a preview event. But I didn't know they'd be this mechanically and visually interesting. Yes, they are based on locations we already visited. But because of the meteor and execution, it is like we are visiting parts of those places we didn't see before. So even when the meteor's influence isn't immediately visible as a result of altered enemies or additional path options, it can feel fresh and different in such a lovely way. The execution and way in which the team plays around with design and direction is great, and once again each one does feel replayable due to the checklist of additional objectives. The new secrets, story, and additions that all come from clearing this really add to the experience in a way that makes sense and is integrated perfectly while adding great new challenges.

I know until now I haven't talked about actual performance. The original game worked well on the Switch, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World Switch 2 Edition performs even better. Especially in handheld mode. It's now a 60fps game, rather than a 30fps one. Given the nature of some of Kirby's abilities and the way some bosses work, you can really see the difference between the two versions. In handheld mode, it's running at 1080p, which was the previous docked cap on Switch. If you do play it docked, it gets up to 1440p. I didn't notice as big of a difference then, but in handheld mode? It's fantastic.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land turned out to be a good Switch game, but the Switch 2 Edition with Star-Crossed World is a great, must-play adventure for the new system. The performance upgrades are a big deal, and they make the game look even more stunning and responsive in handheld mode. The new challenges and levels in the expansion are creative and inventive, and they're fresh in ways I didn't anticipate. You really shouldn't miss this game.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World Switch 2 Edition will come to the Switch 2 on August 28, 2025. The original game without the expansion is available on the Switch.

Joy surrounded by confetti in Inside Out in disney dreamlight valley

Sadness and Joy have arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and a special Inside Out-themed event is now here to accompany them. The Memoria Mania event is one of the trickiest annual events you'll face, with plenty of duties to work through for special prizes.

Memory Mania has some of the trickiest tasks you'll come across in any event, so it's a decently tough one to work through. If you're having trouble figuring out what needs to be done, here are all the Memoria Mania event duties and rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Memory Mania event has eight duties for you to complete. All of these tasks only give you their names as a subtle hint for what needs to be done, so navigating through them on your own can be quite tricky. Here are all event duties and what's required to get each one finished.

Task How to complete
Embrace the Blues Hang out with Sadness for 120 minutes (two hours).
Spark Joy Hang out with Joy for 120 minutes (two hours).
Get Nostalgic! Find Riley's Phone outside around Chez Remy to open red Memory Shards and complete the memory of Nostalgia.
Feeling Expansive Find Hockey Equipment around Merlin's house, Goofy's house, and Mickey's house to recover yellow Memory Shards and complete the memory of the emotions looking out the window at Headquarters.
Feeling Accomplished Complete the Feeling Expansive, Feeling Nostalgic, and Feeling Joyful duties.
Feeling Nostalgic Remove Hockey Trophies from around Dream Castle and Scrooge McDuck's shop to recover blue Memory Shards and complete the memory of Riley and her parents with a birthday cake.
Feeling Joyful Find Birthday Cakes around the Moana Realm, Ratatouille Realm, and Wall-E Realm to obtain pink Memory Shards and finish the memory of Joy surrounded by confetti.
Memorabilia Find and open 200 Memory Shards. This includes those recovered by completing event tasks and those you find in the valley outside of it.

For the duration of the event, there are four special items that spawn around the valley. Finding and removing these items is essential for tackling all event duties.

  • Birthday Cake spawns in the Moana Realm, Wall-E Realm, and Ratatouille Realm.
  • Hockey Gear spawns in Mickey's house, Goofy's house, and Merlin's house.
  • Hockey Trophy spawns in Scrooge McDuck's shop and Dream Castle.
  • Riley's Phone spawns outside near the Chez Remy restaurant.

How to complete Memory Mania event in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the Memory Mania event, you need to tackle all eight duties and redeem all eight prizes. Some tasks, including Memorabilia, Spark Joy, and Embrace the Blues, can be finished outside of it, but the rest can only be finished while the event is live, so working through them during the limited timeframe is crucial.

Memory Mania event items not spawning in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The rollout for the Memory Mania event has been a bit buggy and glitched, so there's a chance you might be having issues getting items to spawn. According to the official Emotional Rescue update patch notes, it was originally meant to run from Sept. 3 to 16.

When this update was released on Aug. 20, some parts of the Memory Mania event were already available to be found around the valley. These items were quickly removed. On Aug. 27, the Memory Mania event page appeared and items started spawning again, so as of the time of writing, it seems to have been moved up.

Since the timing has bounced around so much, some items might not be spawning properly for you. You might need to restart your game or wait a few days for it to start working properly. If anything changes, we'll update all relevant details here.

How long is the Memory Mania event in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

According to the official Memory Mania event page in DDV, it's currently scheduled to run for 13 days from Aug. 27 to Sept. 9. As previously mentioned, though, this timing has changed a lot since the event has been a bit glitchy, so if the timeframe changes again, we'll update all key information here.

brainrot tower defense tier list and guide

The best Brainrot Tower Defense unit depends on four roles which are DPS, Economy, Support and Starter. I will give you options below for all four categories. Keep in mind that with the unique Rage mechanic units get stronger on max level. Here's my Brainrot Tower Defense tier list and guide.

Brainrot Tower Defense Unit Tier List

In this Brainrot Tower Defense tier list I will give you the best options for AOE DPS, single target damage, support, economy and starters. I will also provide alternatives if you don't have the best ones. Overall, for a perfect team, you need either Tralallero or Odin for DPS, Frigo for support and stunning bosses and Chef Crabracadabra for farming coins as the best starter. Let's dive into all units individually and talk about why they're ranked the way they are.

S-Tier Brainrots

Brainrot Why S-Tier

Trallalero Tralala
Mythic
• The best DPS unit in Brainrot Tower Defense
• Has reliable DPS, is a boss killer and with Rage can deal AOE damage
• Can pretty much solo both progression and Infinite

Odin Din Din Dun
Mythic
• The ultimate swarm cleaner so it's the best AOE damage dealer in the game
• Odin's Rage ultimate has massive range
• Basically Odin is better for hordes and Trallalero is better for bosses but Trallalero DPS is wild and it has AOE with ultimate
• The best starter unit in Brainrot Tower Defense because it farms you money
• Must-have in any game mode and in any team

Frigo Camelo
Legendary
• The best support unit in the game and a must-have for all modes
• Can stun bosses so that your DPS units can kill them quickly

A-Tier Brainrots

Brainrot Why A-Tier

Orangutini Ananasini
Mythic
• A great alternative to the top 2 Mythics and probably the third best Mythic in the game due to its massive AOE damage

Ballerino Lololo
Mythic
• The fourth best Mythic in the game

Brr Brr Patapim
Mythic
• Honestly for a Mythic exclusive Brr Brr Patapim is kind of Mid but it's still good stats so it's not unusable

Bombardiro Crocodilo
Legendary
• The best Legendary DPS unit
• Great alternative if you don't have Mythics
• Will carry you early to mid-game
• The second-best support unit in the game that can stun waves
• Cannot stun bosses though so get Frigo ASAP
• The best end-game starter in the game that you can spam if you have Chef early
• There are cheaper options below for early to mid game best starters

B-Tier Brainrots

Brainrot Why B-Tier

Ballerina Cappuccina
Legendary
• A decent alternative to Bombardiro for AOE damage if you don't have him

Tim Cheese
Legendary
• A decent alternative for a single target boss killer DPS if you don't have the single-target Mythic
• Great range, low damage but high attack speed

Bobrito Bandito
Legendary
• Same as Tim Cheese but slower, more base damage and less range

Cimpanzini Bananini
Epic
• An alternative starter unit that's pretty good for mid-game

Kiwi & Dolphinita
Rare
• The best Rare starter units that you can use early and also mid-game

That's it for my Brainrot Tower Defense tier list and guide. Check out our Roblox codes for free goodies on other games as well as our Roblox guides for more.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World is another mouthful of a title coming out for Nintendo's Switch 2 Edition games, based on an original game from the Nintendo Switch, with additional content.

The Switch 2 Edition of the game adds a bunch of new content that goes parallel with the original story, adding a new world near enough from the get-go and a bunch of secrets we can't discuss in this review, sadly.

We already reviewed the original Kirby and the Forgotten Land back when it released a few years ago, so we won't be touching on some of those original points in this review and will instead focus on the new content in the Nintendo Switch 2 version.

So be sure to read that and come back here when you're done...

All good? OK, let's begin, and a reminder that the final score here will reflect everything in-game, including the original content and the additional content in the Switch 2 version.

So, what's new?

kirby screesnhot

On top of the new story and worlds that you're getting, there are three new transformations also available to you, as well as improved graphics and frame rate. Most of the new stages are reimagining stages from the original game, infused with new creatures, puzzles, and power-ups.

Take, for example, the first stage, Point of Arrival. In the Switch 2 Edition, instead of going through the level like you usually would, in the new Meteor Shower's Arrival, you head up the first skyscraper you come across and explore parts of the map you didn't before, all while trying to find new collectibles. These include Starry Coins, which have their uses for sure (but we won't spoil what this is).

Most of the same gameplay formula is here, but instead of trying to find Waddle Dees in a mission, you are after creatures known as Starries. It all feels like a remix of the original content with some slight variety to keep you entertained. Each level also has its own unique tasks to complete, like finding hidden areas and items, or not getting hit by certain enemies.

You can also hit crystals inside of these levels that make new platforms spawn to help you traverse these new remix levels while also giving you hints towards new secrets. Still, the gameplay remains the same for the most part, other than some new variants of pre-existing enemies. The crystals on their heads make them a bit stronger and more complicated to defeat. There are also unnamed new enemies and such, but we don't want to spoil all of the new goodies.

There is a wealth of new content here that adds onto the base game and is made to challenge even the most seasoned players.

And is it any good?

kirby screesnhot
Image via Nintendo

I would say that the new Star-Crossed World's expansion to Forgotten Land presents a more challenging take on the game, one that will definitely test players of all skill levels. However, I'm unsure whether the difficulty stems from not having played the original in some years or if it's genuinely difficult.

For me, Star-Crossed World feels like it takes the best aspects of Forgotten Land and adds a lot of interesting new mechanics, creating a natural progression of the formula rather than just tacking on extra content.

In that way the Star-Crossed World expansion for the Switch 2 Edition of the game is really good and it definitely feels like you are getting a definitive experience that expands on the original but makes it better for having this expansion pass by adding a bunch of new content and worlds.

Even though the levels are designed to be alternative takes on the originals, they still feel pretty unique in the direction that they go, so it feels worthwhile to come back to the game for someone who has played it before to try them.

So yes, the game feels pretty solid and good, and if you own the original, I would definitely consider picking up the upgrade DLC from the Nintendo eShop—and if you haven't played the original Forgotten Land before, now is the perfect time to do so.

hunty zombies weapon tier list and guide

Updated on August 27, 2025: Added Greatsword and Scythe. Elaborated on best traits.

When it comes to the best Weapons or Styles in Hunty Zombies it all comes down to the damage of the moves and mobility/defense. The higher ranks will have a mix of great AOE damage and dashes or iFrame moves. The lower ones are still good but lack these safety tools. I'll also show you all the weapon moves and all weapon traits. Let's analyze them all in my Hunty Zombies weapon tier list.

Hunty Zombies Weapon and Style Tier List

hunty zombies weapon tier list

There's no bad weapon in the game so this Hunty Zombies weapon tier list just ranks weapons based on AOE damage, defense, flexibility and mobility. You'll notice that the higher ranks usually have some dashes or moves that grant iFrames which are key to staying healthy in the game. The lower tiers aren't bad, they just lack these tools to keep your HP high or rely too much on you just walking to reposition and avoid getting swarmed. Either way you get all weapons either from spins or grinding quests. Let's dive into each weapon and all moves individually below.

S-Tier Weapons

S-Tier Weapons Why S-Tier

Greatsword
Mythic
• While the scythe has better AOE moves the Greatsword does more damage
• It's a perfect mix of boss killer and AOE damage
• Also the C move stuns which is really powerful so it's one of the best moves in Hunty Zombies
• Also, the ultimate is one of the best in the game as well

Guitar
Legendary
• The safest weapon in Hunty Zombies due to C having both invulnerability and mobility.
• Tons of high AOE damage and mobility
• You need to position well to avoid hits while channeling X so have teammates protect you or first reposition with C

Scythe
Special
• Get it in the middle of the lobby by grinding $1,000,000 and Level 10, then claim it
• Has massive AOE moves and all the moves pretty much destroy hordes
• It's decent for bosses too with the third move but it has low range so be careful but AOE damage is the focus with the first two moves
• Combine with critical to shred hordes

A-Tier Weapons

A-Tier Weapons Why S-Tier

Dual Gun
Legendary
• One of the safest weapons in Hunty Zombies because you can kite zombies around at range to avoid damage
• All the shots deal good damage and you have AOE with C
• Just keep moving and shooting to avoid getting hit

Katana
Mythic
• Similar to guitar in that you can play pretty safe because Katana has a mix of dashes with invulnerability and the ranged slash
• Drastically better than Baseball and Axes but it's competitive with Dual Guns as well because it has better damage while the guns are safer
• That said I would replace it with Greatsword or Scythe once you get them

B-Tier Weapons

B-Tier Weapons Why S-Tier

Axes
Epic
• I'm not a fan of the axes personally because they lack mobility and repositioning tools
• They're not a bad weapon and they deal good damage but they're not as safe as the other weapons with dashes and invulnerability frames
• Still, there's no bad weapon in Hunty Zombies so the Axes are still pretty good if you can line up a lot of zombies in your AOE moves

Baseball
Rare
• The only reason Bat is A and Axe is B is because Bat has a good repositioning tool with X
• It also deals good damage and has some AOE with C
• Overall, in my opinion, a safer and more flexibile weapon than the Axes but worse than Katana

Best Weapon Traits in Hunty Zombies

You can boost the effectiveness of your weapons by forging weapon traits. The best Trait is the Power trait for raw DPS and Prodigy but some Legendary traits have useful utility boosts if you want to grind like Intelligent or Fortune. Here are all of them and what they do:

  • Power

    • Power I - Increase Damage by 5%
    • Power II - Increase Damage by 10%
    • Power III - Increase Damage by 15%

  • Agility

    • Agility I - Increase Attack Speed by 2%
    • Agility II - Increase Attack Speed by 4%
    • Agility III - Increase Attack Speed by 6%

  • Focus

    • Focus I - Increase Skill Damage by 5%
    • Focus II - Increase Skill Damage by 10%
    • Focus III - Increase Skill Damage by 15%

  • Legendary

    • Intelligent - Gain 10% EXP when killing enemies.
    • Fortune - 20% chance more to drop gold when killing zombies.
    • Beast - Increase Damage by 10% and attack speed by 2%.
    • Prodigy - Increase Damage by 15%, Attack Speed increased by 6%, Skill Damaged Increased by 15% and slightly movement speed boost.

That's it for my Hunty Zombies weapon tier list and weapon trait guide. Don't forget to check out our Hunty Zombies codes for free goodies.

Atari has acquired rights to five Ubisoft games, including Cold Fear and I Am Alive, intending to revive them with new content and expanded distribution amid Ubisoft's financial struggles.
