"Where the hell did that goblin go?" asks a mean knight of some sort whose English accent is of questionable authenticity at the beginning of the latest trailer for Styx: Blades of Greed. This is a reasonable question! When the goblin stealth game was revealed earlier this year, it was slated for a 2025 release, except the rest of the year is in very short supply. So, this trailer acts as a double way: a confirmation of a delay, and the announcement of a proper release date.

naruto ultimate ninja storm fighting game apple arcade mobile

Bandai Namco announced that the mobile version of the fighting game Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm will join the Apple Arcade iOS library. This version on the first entry in that series will be part of the subscription service starting on December 4, 2025. As this title is already available on Android and iOS devices, this is a + version that includes everything.

Since this game did debut back in 2024, we already know what to expect. It starts from the very beginning of the Naruto series. 25 playable characters showed up in the base game, which included staples like Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi and some other notable folks like Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade. The former DLC support characters also appear. The Ultimate Mission Mode, campaign and Free Battle Mode options are available. The mobile versions also added tutorials, auto-saves, casual and manual control modes, a casual control assist option, and some new UIs.

Here's a trailer from back when the mobile versions of the Naruto fighting game first appeared to highlight what we can expect from the Apple Arcade release.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fch_YqpnTAg

The title is normally $9.99 on its own on mobile devices. However, that version is temporarily on sale for Black Friday 2025. So until December 4, 2025, it is $5.99 on the App Store and Google Play

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+ will join Apple Arcade on December 4, 2025, and the fighting game is already on mobile devices worldwide.

Voltage Otome Neon Clash Now Launches on Christmas Day

We'll see the last otome game for the Switch of the year a little later, as Voltage announced a slight delay for Neon Clash: Echoes of the Lost. This won't push it into 2026. Rather, the worldwide release date moved from December 11, 2025, and it is now launching outside Japan on December 25, 2025. However, there are three Special Voice Clip trailers for three of the bachelors showing off the English localization to watch in the meantime.

Voltage didn't explain why the Switch otome game was delayed. Its official announcement on the Neon Clash: Echoes of the Lost social media only cited "various circumstances." It also confirmed this applies to storefronts outside of Japan. In Japan, it will debut on December 11, 2025 as planned.

As for the trailers, those videos started with Sun Masio. He is played by Shunichi Toki. These allow folks to hear the Japanese voice actors for bachelors and get an idea of what their personality is like. None of these clips featured any CGs from the game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1Ot47D17Pw

The second video looked at Sodyk Mun, who is voiced by Jun Fukuyama.

Finally, the third clip highlighted Zhang Hiyok and Ryota Suzuki's performance as him.

fate/grand order part 2 final chapter

Part 2 Final Chapter of Fate/Grand Order will go live at 6pm JST on December 20, 2025 on the Japanese server. That would convert to 1am PT/4am ET. There's no word when we could end up seeing it eventually appear worldwide yet.

The prologue of the final chapter is now available on the Japanese server. This is split into two halves. Completing the first half will allow players to participate in the Grand Duel: Caster campaign. The Grand Duel: Caster campaign will start on December 3, 2025. Clearing it will give players access to the second half of the prologue. As a note, you will not need to clear the prologue in order to access the Final Chapter after it goes live. You'll only need to clear Ordeal Call IV. From December 23, 2025, the server will host a Raid Battle for all participating Masters.

Players will receive a Servant that's limited to the Part 2 Final Chapter. This Servant will not have any special events for Valentine's Day. Since this Servant is only for Part 2 Final Chapter, the inclusion of this clause is likely for those who start playing the Final Chapter in February 2026 and would still have the Servant in their roster. You won't need to first clear the prologue to receive this Servant, and you'll get them during the Final Chapter.

Fate/Grand Order is readily available on mobile devices, and the final chapter of Part 2 will appear on the Japanese server on December 20, 2025.

FFVII Ever Crisis 2B and Pod 042 NieR: Automata Boss Fight Detailed

The NieR: Automata crossover event is live in FFVII Ever Crisis, and Square Enix shared a video with new insights into the boss fight against 2B and Pod 042 in the game. It also shared videos highlighting the special gear that Tifa and Yuffie can get based on 2B and 10H and confirmed Zack can get the Virtuous Contract sword if we go through the event. A wallpaper reward previously showed Cloud as 9S.

First, the trailer Square Enix shared confirmed the 2B and Pod 042 fight is part of YoRHa No.2 Type B Intercept - Encounter in the City Ruins. As in NieR: Automata, she will have access to the Pod Programs A060: P Shield and R070: M Shield. These are her force gauges and protect her from physical and magical attacks. When in-use, shields that look like the ones from the original game appear as visual cues. Some of her major attacks include Double Stunner and Final Blow, which are both shown in the footage, and Square Enix even explained how to counter them. It also recommends Tifa's Demon's Impetus, Yuffie's Fatum Ex Machina, and Matt's Centipede weapons for the fight.

Here's the full FFVII Ever Crisis trailer showing off the 2B and Pod 042 NieR: Automata crossoverboss fight tips.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion

Marvel Cosmic Invasion presents a problem for me. I've never been a Marvel fan, but I am a fan of retro brawlers. Especially when those brawlers are coming from Dotemu, the publishers of both Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, which are some of my favorite games of the last few years. So with that talent in place, could they potentially win me over to liking superheroes?

If you've played those Dotemu games, or indeed any brawler, you already know what's happening here. If not, this is a side-scrolling brawler, where you take control of Marvel superheroes and walk through a 2D space (with some vertical movement) beating up an army of enemies that try and stop you. There are fifteen heroes to choose from, from popular names like Spider-Man and Captain America to obscure picks like Beta Ray Bill and Nova.

Screenshot by Siliconera

What makes Marvel Cosmic Invasion stand out from other games in the genre is the tag team feature the whole game is built around. Instead of picking one hero at the start of a stage, you pick two. In the stage, you can then switch between them at any time, including mid-combo, which can either trigger a team-up attack or allow for some satisfying juggling. It adds a lot of strategy to your combos, as timing it just right during one character's finisher opens you up to let the incoming hero throw out theirs with little chance for enemies to respond.

The combat feels as good as Dotemu's other games. There's a lot of similarities between this and Shredder's Revenge on a fundamental level, which is good news. This is right down to the best part: the ability to endlessly build your combo meter by juggling enemies, even if they're already KOed, as long as they never touch the ground.

There's some good variety between heroes too, with each one offering a unique moveset, weight and speed. Spidey has his webs and a swinging kick in the air. Wolverine has fast claw attacks. She-Hulk is a grappler. Captain America can throw his shield like a boomerang. Storm can fill the stage with lightning. You will almost certainly find at least one hero to suit your playstyle, with Wolverine, She-Hulk and Rocket Raccoon being some of my standouts. Especially the latter, who's the only character whose basic attack is long range and can lay mines with his dash attack.

Screenshot by Siliconera

Where Marvel Cosmic Invasion falls down is in its strange balance. It has a leveling system, similar to other recent games in the genre, where characters hit harder and gain more HP as they level up. Stages are balanced around this system, with enemies getting more powerful as you progress. If you're the kind of player who's just going to pick your two favorites and play the whole game with them, you won't notice much wrong as they'll level up with the stages.

The problem is, the game doesn't present this as the ideal experience. Instead, the game seemingly expects you to swap between the "intended" heroes for each stage. These heroes are highlighting on the character select screen at the start of a stage, in the story scenes before and after the action and mandated to complete the stage's optional challenges. But if you swap around, each hero will eventually feel underleveled for the stage as enemies stomp you. It's a strange choice to signpost this as the suggested way to play.

Screenshot by Siliconera

But the real question is, did Marvel Cosmic Invasion manage to win over someone with no interest in Marvel? Not really, as I found its story to be completely incomprehensible. The wider plot is that Annihilus is invading Earth with his bug enemies, but each stage features its own story focused on a different supervillain. It's mainly an excuse to shove as many characters in as possible, but no one is properly introduced. as someone who doesn't recognise anyone outside the MCU (which I'm mostly aware of against my will), the experience felt disjointed. Naturally, this is a me problem, and it's possible that Marvel diehards will delight in the breadth of its villains, but it does limit its appeal.

Ultimately, Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a solid brawler that continues Dotemu's streak of great games. If you're a hardcore Marvel fan, add a point to the score, since you'll have a great time, but if you're like me and have never found these heroes particularly compelling, this won't change your mind.

Yhwach Is Last Bleach Rebirth of Souls Season Pass Character

Bandai Namco kicked off December 2025 by revealing the last DLC character in the Bleach Rebirth of Souls Season Pass, and it is the first Quincy Yhwach. He is the fourth and final fighter. You can start using him if you buy the $24.99 pass on December 3, 2025. People who buy him piecemeal will need to wait until December 10, 2025 to pick him up for $7.99.

Yhwach continues the trend of the additional Bleach: Rebirth of Souls characters being based upon folks who play important parts in The Thousand Year Blood War anime. In it, he's the head of the Wandenreich and final major antagonist. The introductory trailer refers to him as "The Almighty." It also highlights his look and costume, showing he will wield his Reishi Sword when he attacks. We can see him using Sankt Bogen and Heilig Pfeil. However, his full moveset hasn't been shared yet.

Here's the first trailer highlighting Yhwach and some of his attacks in-game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h89euj4Gk8

This means all of the known Bleach Rebirth of Souls DLC characters debuted within a single year. Things started with The Thousand Year Blood War version of Ichigo Kurosaki. He was followed by a very spoiler-filled Retsu Unohana. Squad Zero Commander Ichibe Hyosube showed up after that.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls is on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the full launch of the Yhwach DLC happens on December 10, 2025. He will be available for season pass holders on October 21, 2025. The Bleach anime, including Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, are streaming on on Disney+ and HuluViz Media handles the manga series outside of Japan.

A character exploring car wrecks in ARC Raiders.

Just over a month since ARC Raiders launched on PC and console, some players are claiming that they have run out of things to do.

The extraction shooter took over Steam, Twitch, and other platforms as one of the first in the genre since Escape From Tarkov to really resonate with people, and the first to become so popular with casual players.

Image via Embark

But now, players with dozens of in-game hours behind them are feeling exhausted with what's available so far, which is over 60 quests, endless opportunities for PvP, and randomly dropped blueprints that allow you to craft endgame weapons and gear.

"I was convinced this would be one of those games I could pour 100+ hours into without even thinking about it," one upset Redditor said. "But after clearing everything that is currently available, I am stuck. There is no meaningful endgame loop, nothing to chase, no evolving difficulty, and no long term system that keeps you invested once you reach the mid to late game stretch. I want to keep going and I am absolutely the type of player who can grind a game for hundreds of hours, but right now I am running into a wall with nothing waiting on the other side."

This particular gamer said that they have over 75 hours logged in ARC Raiders, which works out to be around two and a half hours of game time per day since it launched at the end of October. I'm not sure where that lies in the average play time for those who enjoy the game, but plenty of others feel like they're still getting their money's worth, especially for a $40 game.

"I'm around 180 hours and still having a great time," another raider replied. "Solo runs are mostly chill looking for loot or fighting some ARC with occasional PvP moments. Playing duos and squads is PvP chaos for the entire run pretty much and I absolutely love it."

In a few weeks, the first Expedition Project window opens up, meaning players can reset their progress to start anew in exchange for new rewards and XP opportunities. But for now, those who've already sunk several dozen hours into the game may have to make due with what they have.

For most players, though, I feel like there's still plenty to do if they haven't played as many hours or are simply taking their time through quests and PvP adventures. The most dedicated players with hours played approaching triple digits are likely outliers in all of this.

ARC Raiders will continue to get new content for the foreseeable future, with the 2025 roadmap teasing new updates like more quests and a new Raider Deck in December, with a full calendar of potential just around the corner.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion gameplay

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a fun adventure through the comic book company's repertoire, featuring a number of villains, heroes, and classic locations to beat 'em up through.

While it plays and looks like a beat-em-up from the 1990s, Marvel Cosmic Invasion has a good mix of classic and new-age heroes as part of its roster of 15 playable characters at launch. Whether you like the X-Men, Avengers, Spider-Verse, or even several space-faring heroes, there's a character playable for just about anyone, and they're all very fun.

Here are all of the available characters you can play as in Marvel Cosmic Invasion.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion roster

Screenshot by Destructoid

When you begin your playthrough in Marvel Cosmic Invasion, only a few of the game's playable characters are available. The full starting roster in Marvel Cosmic Invasion is as follows:

  • Captain America
  • Nova
  • Storm
  • Wolverine
  • Spider-Man
  • Beta Ray Bill
  • Black Panther
  • Cosmic Ghost Rider
  • Iron Man
  • Rocket Raccoon
  • She-Hulk

As you play through the game's story, you can recruit more heroes to join your cause, adding them as playable heroes in all modes:

  • Phoenix
  • Venom
  • Silver Surfer
  • Phyla-Vell

Keep in mind that the game uses a sort of tag team format, meaning you can play as two heroes at once. You can freely swap between the two heroes or use them as an assist to help you out mid-combo in battle, and it's super fun figuring out the best combinations of heroes you've grown up enjoying.

Since it's four-player co-op, you can have up to eight heroes on the screen at once if you so choose, and it's always a good time watching them wipe the floor with enemies like Annihilus's bug army, AIM goons, or symbiotes.

It's likely that more playable heroes will be added down the line in a DLC for the game, similarly to how Tribute Games added on to its previous retro beat-em-up, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.

Player taking a finesse shot in FC 26

FC Pro Open's Matchday 3 brings another Mystery Nation objective to Ultimate Team, and FC 26 players can complete an easy task to obtain some bonus rewards during the Black Friday celebrations.

This guide will help you fully understand the concept. The trick is to guess the correct nation and then complete a task using a player from the same country. This guide will help you keep track of tonight's nation, and chances are that it will be cracked by the community.

Disclaimer: The Mystery Nation has been cracked and it's Senegal.

How to complete Pro Open Mystery Nation (Matchday 3) objective in FC 26

Here's the official description of the Mystery Nation Matchday 3 objective.

Score three goals using a Finesse Shot with a player from the mystery nation in any Ultimate Team game mode. The name of the nation will be hinted at during the broadcast of FC Pro Open Matchday 3."

To complete the task, you'll first have to figure out the mystery nation. While EA Sports will eventually reveal the country on the stream, it has been cracked by the community. Use any footballer from the nation (Senegal), and score three goals with a Finesse Shot. You can complete the task in any Ultimate Team mode and across different games.

Once done, you'll get the following rewards added to your Ultimate Team account.

  • Coin Boost
  • One untradeable Premium Electrum Players Pack

It's a pretty decent set of rewards to get free (slightly better than what we received from the first Mystery Nation objective). This is the third Mystery Nation objective in FC 26 Ultimate Team, and it could be any nation apart from Scotland and Belgium. The country will be officially revealed on stream, but we have already updated our guide with the correct choice.

Pitch notes promo image

EA Sports has announced the patch notes for the upcoming Holiday Update in FC 26, and players will have to adjust to some significant gameplay changes.

Following a relatively stale meta in November, things could freshen up following the release of the Holiday Update patch. Goalkeeping seems to be a significant topic for the current patch, but there's bad news for those having problems with the AI defending.

Complete FC 26 Holiday Patch notes

The patch, set to go live very soon on PC and console, includes plenty of changes. Here's a brief list of what you can expect to experience in Ultimate Team.

Goalkeeping movement patched

EA Sports has dramatically reduced the movement speed and the amount of ground covered by manual goalkeeper movement. The Goalkeeper Rush to Center mechanic from open play has also been removed since it can be considered as another form of movement.

  • Greatly reduced movement speed and amount of ground covered when using Manual Goalkeeper Movement in open play.
  • Removed Goalkeeper Rush To Center mechanic from open play; it can still be performed during set pieces.
  • Addressed an issue where goalkeepers could sometimes react poorly to first-time shots.
  • Addressed cases of the goalkeeper not being able to save certain shots when diving to the opposite side of the goal.
  • [Competitive Only] The goalkeeper can now transition faster to the next action after catching the ball.
  • This includes but is not limited to actions like throwing the ball, dropping the ball to feet for a pass, moving with the ball, and more.

Attacking, Defending, and Passing

A few tweaks are also being made to general attacking, defending, and passing.

  • Players who were trying to avoid going offside could've become unintentionally passive, and they will now look to run into open space more often.
  • Slightly decreased the accuracy of headed passes.
  • Lowered ball trajectory height on crosses to prevent the ball from being in the air for too long.
  • Addressed cases of the secondary contain indicator appearing incorrectly during possession.

Unfortunately, AI defending will remain the same for the time being. This will be slightly disappointing, as many in the community have been abusing the mechanic to get away while being poor at manual defending.

Career Mode

The Career Mode also includes plenty of changes and bug fixes.

  • Added a new field in Squad Hub indicating players' willingness to extend their contracts.
  • Added a new tab in the Manager Live Hub to streamline starting a new Live Start Point and Manager Live save, providing quicker access to previously earned retro kits rewards.
  • Shortcut selections are now remembered automatically when exiting the switcher menu rather than requiring a manual selection save.
  • Added an in-menu preview for mascots in the Create Your Club flow
  • In Player Career, the Player Archetype preview tile now displays both current XP and XP needed to reach the next level.
  • Added Recommended Archetypes in the Player Career creation flow instead of Attributes.
  • Added a Mascot preview when using Create Your Club.

You can check out the full patch notes from here.

Yet Another Zombie Survivors gameplay

I've never been shy about my love of Vampire Survivors and the myriad of games like it, and the developer of one such game is thankfully spearheading an effort to officially title the new genre that has been born.

While most are dubbed as an "action roguelike" when it comes to tags on Steam, which helps identify games and categorize them so players can find others like it, Yet Another Zombie Survivors dev Awesome Games Studio is one of 450 devs pushing to create an official name for the genre that Steam would recognize.

While Vampire Survivors may have started the trend, which some call Bullet Heaven, Survivors-like, or Auto-Shooter, countless games have since released with their own spin on the formula. Megabonk, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, Brotato, and Death Must Die are just some examples. But they do not have a specific genre to call home.

"Steam has a huge influence on how game genres are defined — and this fast-growing genre still doesn't have a proper tag," Awesome Games Studio said in a press release about the effort. "A Steam tag isn't just for looks; it's one of the most powerful tools for discoverability and helping players find exactly what they love."

I love games in this genre, and I have wished for this centralized tag to become a thing before. Thankfully, Awesome Games Studio is making the push with a survey to help choose and define the genre so those who love Megabonk, for example, could find more games similar to it.

The studio has a Google form where you can vote for a number of options to help submit a final decision to Steam, and the choices include Bullet Heaven, Survivors-like, Reverse Bullet Hell, Wave Fighter, Horde Survival, Auto-Shooter, and Multi-Directional Shooter. Yeah, some are a mouthful.

https://twitter.com/AwesomeGamesStd/status/1994064079573369212

Personally, I like Bullet Heaven. It flips the script on Bullet Hell, which are games where you're constantly dodging a barrage of enemy fire. Bullet Heaven explains it well, since you're the one firing the barrage over time instead.

Make sure to vote on the Google form and help spread the word so indie devs like Awesome Games Studio and many others can help get their games seen. Steam's Bullet Heaven 3.0 Festival kicks off on Dec. 4, so now's as good a time as any to help out.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion

As someone who grew up on Marvel beat-em-ups like Captain America and The Avengers and Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage, I was immediately enamored with the latest title from Tribute Games when I first saw it announced and in action.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion elicits the same nostalgic joy from those titles, featuring a retro art style and a fun roster of playable heroes, but I just wish the excitement lasted longer and had a bit more to do in its package.

Assemble

Marvel Cosmic Invasion Spider-Man and Captain America team up
Image via Dotemu

The biggest draw for Marvel Cosmic Invasion is its IP. Similarly to how Tribute Games ratcheted up the retro arcade nostalgia with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, the star of the game is its established characters and world.

The side-scroller features a fun roster of Marvel mainstays (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Storm) and some lesser-known heroes (Nova, Phyla-Vell, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Beta Ray Bill) teaming up to battle against Annihilus and his army of bugs as the cosmic villain takes center stage as an antagonist.

In each stage, you choose two heroes to play as and then can combine them and their skills using basic attacks, special attacks, and fighting game-like assists to clear the screen of enemies. It's fun, simple, and satisfying to pull off massive combos and defeat the variety of Marvel goons that are sent your way.

The heroes all have their own distinct feel and abilities, and each is exciting in their own way. Storm uses wind and lightning to blast foes, Spider-Man can web-swing kick the crowd, Silver Surfer uses his surfboard to glide around, and Wolverine dashes and slashes through enemy waves.

Other than the characters having specific moves, the main separator is that several characters on the roster can fly, making them better for handling certain enemy types. Heroes like Storm, Nova, Phyla-Vell, and Iron Man can dominate the top half of the screen because of this, and I found them to be more fun to play in most instances.

The game can be played in co-op for up to four players, meaning you can feasibly have eight Marvel heroes on the screen at once if everyone is calling in an assist or super ability at once, turning it into a wild sight and good time for a group of friends. Using different combos of heroes is exciting and representative of the IP it's based on, enhanced by a good soundtrack and several familiar iconic voice actors like Steve Blum and Josh Keaton.

In addition to the heroes, the story mode features familiar locations and several iconic Marvel villains to battle (or team up with), including Thanos, Galactus, Venom, and Hela, making it a worthy journey for fans of the comics, movies, or games that Marvel has amassed over the past few decades. There are even several easter eggs, including characters and locations for eagle-eyed fans to spot and seek out on each stage.

But not for long

Marvel Cosmic Invasion Captain America, Wolverine, Venom, Phyla-Vell
Image via Dotemu

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is fun to play, but it is a disappointingly short game. The main story can be cleared in 3-4 hours, and then replayability from there focuses on leveling up and playing as different characters to complete mission-specific objectives. Completionists will likely achieve everything in under 20 hours.

These objectives are basic, like using a certain hero to defeat the mission's boss in lore-accurate ways or using a hero's special attack to defeat a number of enemies. Completing these unlocks minor additions like hero palette swaps, arcade mode modifiers, and music tracks, so outside of the achievements/trophies, there isn't all that much to grind for.

Arcade mode is the classic style you would've found in the almost-extinct setting of a bunch of game machines lined up waiting to be filled up with your quarters, and the aforementioned modifiers can add or remove challenges based on how you want to play. It's worth playing through the story multiple times to fully level up each hero and finish the challenges within, but beyond that, there's just not a ton of content to dive into.

Several events and minor mentions throughout the story seem to be setting up a future DLC expansion, which lines up with how Tribute Games added post-launch content for TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. I wish the day one package felt beefier, but the game is fun enough that I am looking forward to whatever comes next.

I love the concept of Marvel Cosmic Invasion. I'm a lifelong Marvel fan and I love this style of gameplay, but I just wish there was more to the game than what it currently holds within.

Fortnite Zero Hour event

Whether it's increasing back pain or feeling existential dread every time a new meme pops up, it's tough being an "unc" online these days.

Fortnite is not helping matters with its willing participation in Gen Alpha's most popular meme of 2025, and it took a good amount of research to figure out just what the heck is going on. But if you're online at all these days, it's impossible not to at least hear about the "6-7" phenomenon.

The outrageous meme even made its way into Fortnite's recent live event, and it has kids everywhere in a tizzy. Here's an explanation of what it's all about. I will try my best.

Fortnite 6-7 live event joke

Fortnite Megazord
Image via Epic Games

The "67" meme took over 2025 with young people, and it can only be described as brain rot and Gen Alpha's takeover of internet culture throughout the year. The meme itself is nonsensical, but it's been so popular with youth that Fortnite added a joke with it in its Zero Hour live event to end Chapter Six.

There's not really any true meaning to what 67 or 6-7 really is about. Earlier in the year, it began with the song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by rapper Skrilla being used in TikTok and Instagram Reels edits featuring basketball players, like LaMelo Ball. He stands six-foot-seven, so that has something to do with it.

The youth began to say "67" while excitedly making a hand gesture, and it started appearing all over the internet. It doesn't make sense, I know, but welcome to brainrot culture.

At the end of the Fortnite event, which saw an Avengers: Endgame-like display of a tremendous number of Fortnite's collabs culminate in a giant monster being defeated, it marked the end of Chapter Six and the beginning of Chapter Seven.

And so, before the servers went down for maintenance in between seasons, Epic Games transitioned from six to seven with, you guessed it, a "67" meme. You can see it in the video above from the perspective of "family-friendly" streamer NickEh30.

https://twitter.com/yoxics/status/1994849574763245674

The event itself was an amazing spectacle. It featured collabs and cameos such as Godzilla, King Kong, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, Marvel, Superman, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Hatsune Miku, Kill Bill, and many more.

If you don't understand the "67" hype, don't worry, because all that it means is that you were probably born before the year 2000. There's nothing wrong with that, regardless of what Gen Alpha may say. My best explanation of the phenomenon is that it's popular because it's dumb, and it's being celebrated as such with full knowledge of how silly it is.

Fortnite Megazord

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 has added plenty of ways to revive yourself and your allies once they're knocked down, allowing new strategies to evolve on the battlefield.

One of the coolest additions of the new season is the introduction of the self-revive item. Whether you're out of help from your buddies or playing solo, this item allows you to revive yourself. The Reboot Van has also been given a major tweak, which changes how they used to work.

How to self-revive in Fortnite

To revive yourself in Fortnite, you'll need to find something called a Self-Revive device. This device doesn't have a fixed location, and they're typically obtained from regular chests. You can also find one from the Supply Drops sent by the Rift Anomaly Care Package. I have also found them from Mending Machines, but they're very expensive.

Player self-reviving in Fortnite
Image via Epic

Once you've added the item to your inventory, it will stay there until you're knocked out. You can't equip it beforehand, and the object also doesn't occupy any space. When you're knocked, you'll get the option to revive yourself.

While the revival takes time to complete, you can roll yourself to a safe distance. This is tough if the enemy chooses to track you. You'll revive with just 30 HP, so try to heal yourself as quickly as possible.

If you're in a squad, you can also revive yourself with the help of the Reboot Vans.

How to use a Reboot Van in Fortnite

Some of the Reboot Vans in Chapter 7, Season 1 are completely drivable. However, you can buy a Reboot Card of a downed ally and use it to reboot them when the van isn't moving. You can also self-revive by entering the back of the van or having a teammate throw you when you're down.

https://twitter.com/HYPEX/status/1994859074790592554

If you choose to opt for this method, the van doesn't have to be stationary. Once you're healed, you can sit on any of the free seats. The Reboot Vans not only allow you to recover, but you can also move with your team around the map. If the van has clamps instead of wheels, it can't be driven (however, it can still be used as a regular Reboot Van).
