Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, January 20, 2026 7:07 AM A bunch of alleged concept art for the Fable reboot has reportedly been unearthed via a developer's portfolio, ahead of the RPG's appearance at this week's Xbox showcase. As of writing, there's no indication as to what stage of developement the apparent game art could be from. However, if it's genuine, it does seem to point towards a location from Fable 2 making a return in the reboot. |

Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, January 20, 2026 5:30 AM Historical real-time tactics game Strategos is out in early access today, boasting over 120 factions and 250 units based on "the major and minor powers of the ancient Mediterranean", according to developers Strategos Games. If you are a brazen tomfool, you might summarise it as Total War without the sprawling campaign map element. If you are an excessively brazen tomfool – brazen to the point that a formation of Greek Hoplites would use you as cover while manouvering around some pesky Achaemenid Persian archers – you might also say that "Strategos" sounds like a spiky brand of cereal, rich in essential iron and horse sweat. We neither of us are tomfools, however. We know better than to write such nonsense out loud. I've still yet to play Strategos, but I've been reading more about its "command and control" simulation, after covering the news that MicroProse would publish the game, and it does sound like a worthwhile complication of the process of clattering phalanxes together like frying pans. |

In this Plant Brainrot Simulator Mutations guide I'll cover both how they work as well as the best mutations for different purposes. They largely depend on whether you want better wave clear or better world boss runs. Here's my Plant Brainrot Simulator Mutations tier list.
Table of contents
Best Mutations in Plant Brainrot Simulator
You cannot stack Mutations in Plant Brainrot Simulator so you want to go for the best ones. Currently, as you'll see below, the best ones are Darkness for bosses and World Boss events and Bomb is best for wave clears and progression. I recommend you merge plants for weight first and then mutate since you don't want to waste fruit on weaker plants. Merging is done by combining two of the same plant and only the same star plants can merge up to 5 stars increasing weight up to 201kg (More weight = more damage). Place Bomb on your highest DPS plant and then support it with Darkness. Here are the mutation breakdowns.
S-Tier Mutations
A-Tier Mutations
B-Tier Mutations
That's it for my guide on the Plant Brainrot Simulator mutation tier list. Check out our Plant Brainrot Simulator codes for free goodies.

ARC Raiders 1.12.0 update is now live on PC and consoles, and the small patch fixes popular exploits that were being used by many.
The second patch of the new year is pretty tiny as far as changes are concerned. However, it will ensure fairness for all, as players won't be able to use the item and ammo duplication exploits anymore. Let's quickly look at the changes that are part of this patch.
Complete ARC Raiders 1.12.0 update patch notes
ARC Raiders 1.12.0 update can be broken down into two major parts: store rotation and fixes. The new store rotation is now live, and you can find new items available in-game. You can choose to spend your Raider Tokens if you're interested in acquiring any of them.
Here's the list of fixes that are part of the patch.
The first two changes are notable as they were popular with everyone. It allowed you to use an exploit to duplicate ammo and items that you already have. Naturally, it was immensely useful (especially for items). If you had one item that's required for Expedition 2, you could just duplicate it. The same applied to ammo types that you already had.
Thankfully, the exploits have been patched now. There were also instances of certain map locations going out-of-bounds in Stella Montis. That problem should cease to exist once you've updated your client version.
Unfortunately, we have yet to have any confirmed news about when the next expansion will be released in ARC Raiders, and what content it might have.

The Division 2 Y7S3 Mutiny continues towards the final quest, and Scout 8 objectives are now live.
After an action-packed Week 7, where we had to take down an HVT, things look easier. The ultimate aim is to continue towards the season finale, and completing week 8 will bring us one step closer to what waits for us in the end.
Let's look at how to complete the Scout 8 objectives.
Table of contents
The Division 2 Y7S3 Mutiny Week 8 Scout solutions
Once again, there are three clues to decode.
Here's the set of tasks to complete, based on the clues.
Complete two Hostage Rescues
The first task of Mutiny Week 8 Manhunt requires us to find and complete a Hostage Rescue. These are open-world activities that can pop-up at any location. You can identify the activity with a green handcuff, and only after you have captured a Control Point.
Clear all the enemies that appear at the location, and you'll get a key to open the doors for rescuing the hostages. Repeat the process once more to finish the objective.
Complete two Hyenas activities in the Federal Triangle
The second task requires you to complete two activities against the Hyenas faction. While these can be any two open-world activities, they need to belong to the Hyenas. You also have to focus solely on the missions spawning at the Federal Triangle location.
Do this twice, and it will finish the second Scout 8 task.
Complete District Union Arena on any difficulty
The last task requires you to clear the District Union Arena on any difficulty of your choosing. The quickest solution is to play solo at the easiest difficulty. This will wrap up Scout 8 objectives and bring you one step closer to the climax mission at the end of the season.
