This DBD Killer is being removed for good and you've not got long to unlock them

Few games nail crossovers quite like Dead By Daylight. Killers from other IPs are always beautifully recreated, originate from some of the biggest horror franchises around, and bring fresh gameplay experiences with their personal perks. The Survivor crossovers are great too, don't get me wrong, but slaying out with the Xenomorph from Alien or Pyramid Head from Silent Hill is just next level. While new Killers will always be added to DBD, Behaviour Interactive has just revealed that one iconic character will actually be leaving. In a few weeks' time, The Cenobite won't be obtainable in Dead By Daylight.

The League of Legends Hextech Chest drama is perhaps the most explosive backlash I've seen from the game's community in the past five years.      Where to buy 5070 - retailers to check for stock first

Trying to find out where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU? Well, we're here to help you with that. We've checked the virtual store shelves of retailers around the world to find where Nvidia's latest mid-range gaming GPU contender can be pre-ordered, or where you can set up stock notifications for when the card launches later this year.

With the RTX 5070 potentially set to be the best graphics card in its price range, including the supposed ability of the RTX 5070 to offer RTX 4090 performance, it's going to be in high demand. What's more, it may only be available in very limited numbers when the RTX 5070 release date window opens. As such, you'll have to be quick to grab one of these new Nvidia cards, especially if you don't want to pay inflated prices from scalpers buying the cards from trusted retailers, only to then resell them on the likes of eBay.

The official RTX 5070 price is $549 / $549 CAD / £549 / AU$1,109 for the Founders Edition card, so that's the price you should be hoping to pay for Nvidia's own stylish card. Other cards from the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac might demand more, but that's the ballpark figure you should expect to pay. While RTX 5090 stock and RTX 5080 stock are now available, no RTX 5070 stock is available yet and won't be for a little longer. However, some sites are now starting to show "notify me" services, so you can sign up to know when stock becomes available, and these may eventually switch to pre-order options too.

Where to buy 5070 Ti - Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti stock for March 4

Do you want to know where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti? Well, we have some good news as we're updating this guide daily with links to retailers around the world, so you can find out where the new mid-range gaming GPU is in stock, or at least find where there are pre-order or notification options in place.

The Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti is the mid-tier card in the company's new RTX 5000 series GPU lineup. While the RTX 5070 is your entry into the series, and the RTX 5090 is the range-topper, the RTX 5070 Ti could well be the best graphics card choice for those looking to maximize their bang for buck.

A notable aspect of the RTX 5070 Ti is that Nvidia isn't producing its own Founders Edition card. As such there isn't an MSRP for that exact card. However, the guide price for stock-speed cards is $749 / $749 CAD / £729 / AU$1,109. These cards are manufactured by the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac. The RTX 5070 Ti release date was February 20, 2025, although stock sold out quickly after the launch.

If you played Civilization 7 during release week and decided it wasn't the sequel that you were expecting, now might be the time to give it a second try. The user interface, progression, and certain behaviors of enemy rulers have all been criticized by the Civ 7 community; the response to Firaxis's 4X follow-up has in fact been so mixed that Civilization 6, despite being eight years old, now regularly has a larger number of players on Steam.      Forget foldable phones, Samsung just made a hinged Steam Deck competitor

Samsung is no stranger to foldable screen tech, with it being the first company to really push the idea of foldable phones with its Samsung Galaxy Fold and Samsung Galaxy Flip phones. However, now the company has taken the only logical next step and demoed a new concept, showing off a gaming handheld that can do the same screen-bending trick to halve its footprint, making for an even more portable gaming device.

Samsung doesn't currently make a device that would compete with the likes of the Steam Deck OLED and Asus ROG Ally X for a spot on our best handheld gaming PC guide. However, it has a long pedigree in producing both portable devices such as some of the best foldable phones, as well as tablets, and it makes Windows laptops too. A gaming handheld is only a small step away from much of its regular hardware output.

Where to buy 5080 - Nvidia RTX 5080 stock for March 4

If you want to find out where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, then you've come to the right place. We're updating this guide daily with links to retailers worldwide so we can let you know as soon as they get stock on their shelves. The RTX 5080 launch was in January 2025, so many retailers have not yet had time to replenish their stock after the initial influx of orders, but there are some ways to get hold of the card.

The Nvidia RTX 5080 is a very popular option for those wanting to upgrade to an RTX 5000 series GPU. That's because, while our RTX 5090 review showed it to be the undisputed new best graphics card, it also offers relatively poor value for $1,999. The RTX 5080, though, is a more reasonable choice that offers reasonable value, as we found in our RTX 5080 review.

Because of this expected popularity, and because the entire RTX 5000 series is currently in short supply with high demand, you're going to need to be organized if you want to secure a card for a sensible price.

With an official price of $999 / $1,449.99 CAD / £979 / AU$2,019, Nvidia's own Founders Edition card is one of the most affordable options. Other cards from the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac might demand more, but sometimes offer lower running temperatures, quieter fans, and more overclocking headroom. The RTX 5080 release date was Thursday, January 30, with the launch time being 9am ET / 6am PT / 2pm GMT. With most stores already sold out, some are operating a "notify me" service, so you can sign up to know when stock becomes available again.

Complete Monster Hunter Wilds quest and main mission list

What are the Monster Hunter Wilds quests? There are a fair few ways to hunt monsters in Capcom's RPG juggernaut. You can find the monster you want to slay out in the wild, hunt it down during an optional quest, or stumble upon it during a main story mission. As such, keeping track of all these methods can be rather difficult, and if you're a completionist, you'll want to know that you've done everything the game has to offer.

Monster Hunter Wilds offers main story chapters with different sub-chapters within them, and within those are assignments to hunt certain monsters that become optional quests later on. Yes, that's almost as confusing as remembering the names of all the Monster Hunter Wilds monsters or deciding which Monster Hunter Wilds weapon to main. Thankfully, we've created a complete list of every main mission, side quest, and assignment so you can keep on top of your to-do list.

WWE 2K25 system requirements are so low they don't even need an RTX GPU

What are the WWE 2K25 system requirements? While 2K is set to innovate when it comes to gameplay for its WWE license this year, introducing The Island as a new shared-world game mode, the game's PC demands have stagnated, meaning there might be little in the way of technological advancements coming.

You won't need the best graphics card to play WWE 2K25 on PC, and if you were able to play last year's game with decent performance, you're already set for this year. Very few changes have been made, but you are going to need some more RAM if your gaming PC is still stuck at 8GB. This should bode well for the Steam Deck too, which was able to run WWE 2K24 without much compromise.

AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT gaming GPU stock is

While gamers have been struggling to get their hands on a new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 GPU, it looks as though you'll have a much easier time buying a new AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT when it's released. According to the latest whispers, stock of the new 9070 cards is significantly better than any of the RTX 5000 cards.

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT release date is coming very soon, and with a price of $599 it looks set to offer some serious competition for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, with more VRAM and some big numbers in the specs list. Perhaps more importantly in a world where Nvidia commands a massive share of the GPU market and brand recognition, though, AMD could win this battle simply by having enough stock of its new graphics cards to go round.

Best Monster Hunter Wilds armor and list of all armor sets

What is the best Monster Hunter Wilds armor? It might be a little grotesque, but it wouldn't be Monster Hunter if you didn't craft armor from the parts of monsters you defeat. Most armor sets in Monster Hunter Wilds are only unlocked after you defeat the MH Wilds monster that drops the materials required to craft them.      Where to buy 5090 - Nvidia RTX 5090 stock for March 4

If you still need to know where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, we have you covered. In this guide, you'll find links to online retailers in various countries that have either stock notifications, pre-orders, or actual stock available and we update it every day, to see if new stock has arrived anywhere. If you want to grab the most hotly demanded graphics card of the moment, you're in exactly the right place.

With the new Nvidia RTX 5090 proving to be the undisputed new best graphics card in terms of raw power, demand for this GPU is currently huge. What's more, it's currently only dropping in very limited numbers, so you'll have to be quick on the draw to grab one in the coming months, especially if you don't want to pay inflated prices from scalpers on the likes of Ebay.

With an official price of $1,999 / $4,449 CAD / £1,939 / AU$4,039 for the Founders Edition card, that's the price you should be hoping to pay for Nvidia's own impressively slim card design. Other cards from the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and Zotac demand more, especially if they're overclocked, but that's the ballpark figure you should expect to pay. The RTX 5090 release date was Thursday, January 30, at 9am ET / 6am PT / 2pm GMT, with stock becoming available then, although most retailers are out of stock right now. Monolith Productions co-founder Jace Hall has expressed a strong interest in remaking rancid horror game Condemned: Criminal Origins and its sequel, Condemned 2: Bloodshot. It's not entirely clear how he'd do this, given that Monolith no longer exists even as a brand name, following cuts at parent company Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, and that Hall himself doesn't seem to be directly involved with game development or publishing these days. That said, he is the sole current owner of the Condemned intellectual property. So if a remake is going to happen, it'll need to happen through him.

Sid Meier's Civilization VII has a new Sid Meier's game update that makes changes to Sid Meier's user interface, leader AI, Age mechanics, Mementos and naval unit handling. Developers Firaxis have also stirred in a free bonus Natural Wonder, Sid Meier's Bermuda Triangle.

Leaving aside for the moment the on-going arguments about whether (Sid Meier's - OK, enough of that now) Civilization 7 is an unambiguous low point for the series, or yet another flawed 4X strategy sim that will find its feet via post-launch updates, I love the idea of a Bermuda Triangle just popping up in my simulation, like a black hole spawning in my fridge. I hope it works as in legends about the real-life Bermuda Triangle (or in the previous Civilization 6), with whole armies and fleets getting swallowed up in transit and/or scattered across the globe at random.

Konami Shared Plans for Suikoden Series Future

In an interview with Dengeki Online, Suikoden series Producer Rui Naito, IP & game director Takahiro Sakiyama, and Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster Director Tatsuya Ogushi talked about the future of the series, and the announcements made on the recent Suikoden Special Program. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

At one point, the Dengeki interviewer asked about the possibility of playing remastered versions of the sequels to Suikoden 1 and 2. In response to that, Producer Naito echoed his intention to reinvigorate the Suikoden series and build upon it in the future, and how the announcement of the mobile game Suikoden Star Leap and the Suikoden: The Anime series will be the second step of that process.

The developer continued by saying that they don't know how many steps there will be, and joked that there could be as many as 108, in reference to the number of Stars of Destiny in each game. As Konami's only RPG series, Naito said they want to make sure they're taking it one step at a time, so they aren't considering remastering the sequels yet, and will consider what comes next after their current projects are completed.

Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will come to the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on March 6, 2025. The original games appeared on the PlayStation worldwide. They also appeared together in a collection on the PSP in Japan.

Witchs Flow Life

Mobile title Witch's Flow Life will end service in just under a year of being released. Leading up to the end of service, consumers are no longer able to purchase in-game currency and can file refund requests. Witch's Flow Life will end service on May 30, 2025.

Developers Akatsuki Games apologies for the sudden termination but thank players for their support over the short-lived course of the game. This termination comes shortly after it was revealed that NetEease Games would be paring back on the amount of games it would continue to support, to which NetEase Games is the publisher of this title.

The game could be played on both Android and iOS devices, along with DMM Games' online service. The last significant update it received was in December 2025, which included the introduction of a new character.

This isn't the first of several games to recently end service. Gundam Tribe, a browser game, will end service on May 27, 2025. The browser game released in 2015, which meant it was almost about to reach it's 10 year anniversary before closure.

Witch's Flow Life is available for Android and iOS devices. It will officially end service on May 30, 2025.

Monolith Soft

Japanese developer Monolith Soft has provided an update concerning the amount of people that work at the studio. Almost 300 people work at the studio, with the total reaching 299, with 27.4% of their employees being women with the remaining 72.6% being men. [Thanks, resetera!]

These numbers reflect employment at Monolith Soft as of December 2024. So the studio could have employed more individuals since this report was released.

In December 2023, the developer reported to have grown to 264 employees. Which means the studio has slowly grown over the past year, hiring 35 people over the course of a year.

Monolith Soft is responsible for the development of titles in the Xenoblade series. This includes Xenoblade Chronicles, and Xenoblade Chronicles X, which is receiving a remaster for the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, the developer has provided support on Nintendo titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Xenoblade Chronicles also saw a remaster for the Nintendo Switch, which hosts sequel titles Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Sales for the series have increased over the years. In December 2020, Nintendo revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition sold 1.32 units worldwide. There is no doubt that number has grown.

tama university think with pokemon

Tama Art University in Japan will hold its third Think With Pokemon: Art & Environment Education exhibit later this month. It'll run from March 27 to April 6, 2025, and it's a free program.

There are multiple promotional images featuring the sculptures the students at the university made. For example, we can see an Ogerpon made from nets, game cassettes, tubes, and the like. There's also a Zorua made out of potholders, clothespins, goggles, and the like. These are Pokemon Upcycle Sculptures, which product design majors at the university make using materials they can find around them. You can see these examples on the webpage for the exhibition.

As this is the third time the university's hosting the exhibit, it's now displaying over 70 different species of Pokemon. Not only does the exhibition hope to impart the joy of exercising your imagination and making something, it'll also provide information on eco-friendly designs.

On March 29 and April 6, 2025, the university will also host a workshop where kids and parents can make their own Poke Balls. You can start applying for this event from March 11, 2025. It'll focus on teaching kids how to craft a Poke Ball using materials like cardboard and recycled paper, and each workshop can only have fifteen kids (including one supervisor each).

The Think With Pokemon: Art & Environment Education workshop will run in Tama Art University from March 27 to April 6, 2025. The newest entry in the franchise, Pokemon Legends Z-A, will come out on the Nintendo Switch later this year.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has just added the Gible Solo Battle Event to the game with a number of sought after rewards for players. Not only is there a Full Art promo card up for grabs, but four other card variations, and a number of other rewards. If you want to load up on Hourglasses, Shinedust and promo cards, here's everything you need to know about the TCG Pocket Gible Solo Battle Event.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Gible Solo Battle Event promo cards

There are five promo cards that you can pick up as part of the event, and the chase card is the Full Art Gible. However, if you are building an Arceus ex deck, the event is an easier way to grab the Link Power Raichu card.

Here's the full list of promo cards that are part of the Pokémon TCG Pocket Gible Solo Battle Event:

  • Cherrim
  • Raichu
  • Nosepass
  • Full Art Gible
  • Staraptor

Winning a Beginner match gives you a 50% chance of being rewarded with a promo card, while Expert battles guarantee the promo card drop. Essentially, the more difficult the battle, the more likely you are to grab a promo card. Luckily, you don't use any Stamina if you lose an event battle, so don't worry about trying a few times before you succeed. Winning battles will also reward you with Shinedust and Shop Tickets.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Gible Solo Battle Event challenges and rewards

There are different challenges at each difficulty tier, and you will likely need different decks in order to complete every challenge. Aside from promo cards, there are different rewards you can grab. These include Hourglasses for opening packs, taking part in more Solo Battles, and Wonder Picking.

Here is a list of challenges that are part of the Gible Solo Battle Event:

  • Beginner

    • Knock Out with an attack from a Grass-type Pokémon
    • Play three Basic Pokémon

  • Intermediate

    • Two Knock Outs with attacks from Grass-type Pokémon
    • Put your opponent's Pokémon to sleep one time
    • Win this battle by turn 14

  • Advanced

    • Win five or more battles
    • Win a battle using common Pokémon
    • Win a battle by turn 14
    • Win a battle without losing a Pokémon

  • Expert

    • Win 10 or more battles
    • Win 20 or more battles
    • Win a battle using common Pokémon
    • Win a battle by turn 12
    • Win a battle without losing a Pokémon

Best decks for the Gible Solo Battle Event

There are a few challenges that we want to focus on when building our decks for this event. We will need a deck consisting of Grass-type Pokémon, a deck using only common cards, and a deck that can put the opponent to sleep.

The strongest Grass-type deck at the moment is the Celebi ex and Serperior deck, which mostly uses cards from the Mythical Island expansion. Celebi ex does damage based on how much Grass Energy is attached, and Serperior doubles all Grass Energy. The best Celebi ex decks have a lot of healing, with Erika for support and the Pokémon Tool Giant Cape. This deck is also one of the strongest for PvP battles.

Here's the Celebi ex deck list that we recommend:

  • Celebi ex x2
  • Snivy x2
  • Servine x2
  • Serperior x2
  • X Speed x2
  • Poké Ball x2
  • Giant Cape x2
  • Professor's Research x2
  • Erika x2
  • Sabrina x2

The Celebi ex deck can be easily changed into a deck that only uses common cards. Dhelmise is a great common substitution for Celebi ex as it can deal 90 damage per turn when it has four Grass Energy attached. It also has a lot of HP making it difficult to take down quickly. We've exchanged the Giant Cape for Rocky Helmet to deal some extra damage. Here is the common card counter deck we recommend.

  • Dhelmise x2
  • Snivy x2
  • Servine x2
  • Serperior x2
  • X Speed x2
  • Poké Ball x2
  • Rocky Helmet x2
  • Professor's Research x2
  • Erika x2
  • Sabrina x2

The final deck we need is one that can put the opponent to sleep. As you don't lose Stamina when you lose a battle the best deck is one that is filled with Supporter cards. Make a deck with a Jigglypuff that can put the opponent to sleep, and the other cards should be Supporters, Items and Tools. This way you will start with Jigglypuff in your hand, you can send your opponent to sleep and then immediately concede.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is available for free on iOS and Android.

New FFVII Bring Arts Cloud Figure Wields Hardedge Sword

Square Enix started pre-orders for the new FFVII Bring Arts Cloud Strife figure, which features his Hardedge sword. The previous version of this figure included his trademark Buster Sword. It costs $119.99. The expected launch window is November 2025.

Basically, this figure is identical to the one that is already available. The change involves the equipment the character comes with as an accessory. He can wield the Hardedge. Otherwise, the figure, three pairs of hands, and everything else are the same. there is also no extra face plate, so Cloud only bears one expression.

Here's a full look at the figure:

As a reminder, the original Cloud figure this one is based on was sold with an NFT certificate. However, the rerelease in 2024 didn't include that. There was also a Tifa variant that, like Cloud, came with NFTs at the start, but then didn't for the eventual rereleases.

There's a fun bit of trivia surrounding the Hardedge sword in-game. You get it via stealing from a SOLDIER enemy. It's the first stolen sword you can pick up for Cloud.

The FFVII Bring Arts Cloud Strife figure with Hardedge will launch in November 2025. Final Fantasy VII Remake is on the PS4, PS5, and PC, FFVII Rebirth is on the PS5 and PC, and the third entry in the trilogy is in development.

red bull strawberry spring

To celebrate the coming of spring, Red Bull in Japan is offering a special strawberry flavor for a limited time. The can is red, with a bull near the top of it and the words "The Spring Edition" on it in English.

On the Japanese website for Red Bull, you can read a little more on the ingredients for the spring strawberry flavor. However, it's pretty much the same as a normal can. It has caffeine, arginine, B-group vitamins, sugars, and water. The main differences between this and a normal Red Bull are the design of the can and the fact that it'll taste like strawberries.

As a note, Red Bull outside of Japan also has its own Spring Edition. It uses the same overall design for the can, featuring a more simplistic aesthetic and the bull near the top. However, this one is purple and the flavor is pink grapefruit with "herbal and subtle floral notes."

Though this spring Red Bull flavor isn't a collaboration, Red Bull has had multiple crossover campaigns with games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in the past. This is likely due to the stereotype of gamers liking energy drinks such as Red Bull and Monster, as they need the caffeine to help them game all night.

The Suikoden Critical Role one-shot will be set in Muse City in the Dunan Republic, a prominent location in Suikoden 2.

Critical Role and Konami announced on social media that, in honor of the debut of the Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster collection, there will be a special one-shot episode based on the games. That will be held at 7pm PT/10pm ET on March 11, 2025. There's no placeholder for it on YouTube yet.

We do know a few things about the Suikoden Critical Role adventure. It will be set in Muse City in the Dunan Republic, a region that was founded after the Dunan Unification War depicted in Suikoden 2. It is unknown if this means we'll see characters from that entry who remain in the city after the events of that title, such as Fitcher. Matthew Mercer will be the game master (DM) for the session, with Arin Hanson, Ashley Johnson, Zachary Renauldo, and Zeno Robinson participating in the game.

This is one of many ways Konami is honoring the Suikoden series, as more came up during a showcase about the games on March 3, 2025. An anime adaptation of the second installment is in development. There's lots of new merchandise on the way. An entirely new mobile entry called Suikoden Star Leap is also in development.

Suika Game - finding game book and sticker book Japanese covers

Poplar revealed that it is gradually releasing more books that are based on Aladdin X's Suika Game, the casual matching game about pairing up fruits until you earn a watermelon. The company has just released a digital version of the Find the Suika Game! book. It also newly revealed a Suika Game sticker book, which it will release in Japan on April 9, 2025.

The first book plays very similarly to Where's Waldo and Search for Kirby books, where people have to find the specified fruit characters on each segment. Poplar originally released the 30-page book physically in August 2024. However, it eventually released the digital version of the book after receiving requests from many customers. The e-book is now available on sites like Book Walker and Amazon Japan, with the latter providing access on Kindle.

The newly revealed second book will have the full title Suika Game Gyuggyuggyuu! Seal Book, with "Seal" referring to "Sticker" in Japanese. The 18-page book will contain a total of 383 stickers that the owner can apply to many objects. It will be available at 1,100 yen on Japanese physical and online storefronts including Amazon Japan, which can also ship the book outside Japan.

These books are based on Suika Game, the popular puzzle game available officially on Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Aladdin X's popIn Aladdin projectors.

As One anime movie is loosely based on Square Enix past arcade game Starwing Paradox

Gaga revealed that it will publish As One as a new anime movie loosely inspired by the now-defunct Square Enix arcade game called Starwing Paradox. The movie will appear in Japanese theaters in Summer 2025.

Just like Starwing Paradox, the characters in As One will be designed by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto of .hack and Evangelion fame. The director for this movie will be Kobun Shizuno, who had also previously directed movies for the Detective Conan (Case Closed) series.

The Japanese press release provided more insight into the movie's production. Square Enix made a specific request to the production team, where the latter should "make something interesting without getting tied to the content in the game." The team then decided to make an original story for the As One anime, which will take place twenty years before Starwing Paradox.

Gaga has also published more concept art for the upcoming anime movie via an official tweet:

https://twitter.com/asone_movie/status/1896697093449826439?

Square Enix originally revealed Starwing Paradox in February 2018 and launched it in arcades in November 2018. However, the company made a de facto complete exit from the arcade scene in 2021, even though its subsidiary Taito still has a substantial presence as of 2025.

As Starwing Paradox was published under Square Enix, it had its online services terminated in October 2021. It effectively shut down the whole game, as the only gameplay mode available afterward is a trial mode without any methods to save playthrough data.

The As One anime based on the Square Enix title Starwing Paradox will be available in theaters across Japan in the Summer season of 2025.

Capcom Conducting Monster Hunter Wilds Player Survey

Capcom announced it will conduct a series of player surveys to help gauge interest on and gather feedback on Monster Hunter Wilds, and the first is available on March 4, 2025. It's live on the official site. However, it is so popular that, as of 9:50am ET on March 4, 2025, trying to take it returns a "we're experiencing heavy traffic on this survey" response.

This first survey only runs until March 27, 2025. It is for players on all platforms. First, it asks which version of this game you bought, then asks about your history when it comes to playing past Monster Hunter titles and Capcom games. It goes on to ask about how you get news about this entry, both via Capcom, websites, and showcases. It also asks marketing-related questions and some initial details about playtime. You can also offer some initial feedback about your experience. At the end, a free wallpaper is offered. There are also points during this survey at which you can submit your own insights and answer more open-ended questions about the game.

The second survey will arrive in May 2025. Capcom noted that it will go over "product content." This means it will likely focus on the experience and monsters. It is unknown how that could affect future development. However, we do know free updates are on the way, with Mizutsune being the first free monster.

We've already started to see Capcom respond to player feedback on Monster Hunter Wilds, even before the first survey launched. Some folks revealed issues with getting through Chapter 5 due to a bug tied to a character's appearance. A patch for that is already live. We will likely also see future responses like that, as sales passed eight million already.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The first post-launch survey for the game is live until March 27, 2025.

Nintendo Alarmo Clock Heads to Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Walmart

Nintendo announced that ahead of Mar10 Day 2025, which is March 10, 2025, we will be able to finally buy the Alarmo clock at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart. The stores will get it on March 9, 2025. Both Best Buy and Walmart already shared a product listing for the device, which is $99.99 at the former and $99.00 at the latter

While the two stores are already prepared for the wider release, some aren't. The Target product page for the Nintendo Alarmo clock exists, but spawns an "item not available" message if you click it. The only thing that comes up if you search "Alarmo" at GameStop is a One Piece alarm clock of Luffy sitting on a barrel.

As a reminder, this clock originally only was available via Nintendo directly. Someone needed an official Nintendo Switch Online account to purchase it. Sales even ended up being delayed a bit at launch.

How it works is that those who own the clock can set different themes based on Nintendo properties. They will then see different scenes and characters when alarms go off. If only one person is in the bed, it can sense motion. Multiple people require button mode. Eventually, updates add additional series to the device.

The Nintendo Alarmo clock is available directly through the company now, and it will be at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart starting on March 9, 2025.

Gypercos in MH Wilds

While most large monsters are easy to find, the Gypceros proves the most troublesome in Monster Hunter Wilds. Oftentimes, it won't spawn right away, prohibiting you from completing Zatoh's side mission. We're here to help by showing you how to find Gypceros in the Plains.

How to get the Gypceros to spawn in Windward Plains

The Gypceros appears during the Fallow weather, which you can change in the Rest's Environment settings. However, even with this feature, many players have still been unable to get this creature to spawn. So, if you're struggling to find the Gypceros in the Plains, here are a few methods you can use:

  • Check on your Environment Overview to narrow down its location
  • Capture the Gypceros in another region, then return to the Plains to see if spawns in
  • Look around Kunafa Village or Zone 4

The first thing you need to do is check on your Environment Overview. You'll see a button to open it at the bottom of your map. It'll present you with all the currently available monsters in the Windward Plains, where you may see the Gypceros pop up. If you have yet to catch or hunt this beast, it will appear as a '???' creature. Set a waypoint to reach there quickly.

Finding the Gypercos in the Environment Overview
Screenshot by Destructoid

Unfortunately, the Environment Overview rarely shows a Gypceros, especially when the Beware the Gypceros Material Retrieval side quest is active. Defeating this monster in other regions is the only way I could resolve this issue, as it seems to refresh the monsters within the Plains. Regions like the Iceshard Cliffs, Oilwell Basin, and Wyveria spawn the Gypceros more frequently. Therefore, you can easily find this creature, take it down, and then return to the Plains for better chances.

If the problem persists, explore Windward Plains to trigger a Gypceros appearance in the wilds. Players in the 'Can't find the Gypceros' Reddit thread suggest looking around Kunafa Village or Zone 4 (above the Base Camp) to encounter this creature.

Kunafa Village map location
Screenshot by Destructoid

Hopefully, one of these methods helps you find the Gypceros in the Plains. However, you'll still need to defeat the monster to complete the rest of the Beware the Gypceros mission.

How to defeat the Gypceros in MH Wilds

In addition to Gypceros' rare sightings, it's also relatively challenging to eliminate. It has the power to stun and poison you, so ensure to come prepared with resources. I highly recommend bringing Antidotes or Herbal Medicines to counter Poison Status Effects. Here's a list of the Gypceros' weaknesses in MH Wilds:

  • Weak Point: Head
  • Recommended Elemental Attacks: Fire and Ice
  • Effective Status Effects:

    • Poison: Least effective
    • Sleep: Moderately effective
    • Paralysis: Moderately effective
    • Blastblight: Moderately effective
    • Stun: Moderately effective
    • Exhaust: Moderately effective

  • Effective Item: Pitfall Trap

Shock Traps won't do you any good in this battle, but Pitfall Traps will prove handy. While the head is the Gypceros' weakest point, it's best to pinpoint its tail first since it'll be more accessible to hit.

Gypercos weak points
Screenshot by Destructoid

You must be agile during this fight to avoid its many stun and poison attacks. Weapons like the Dual Blades and the Insect Glaive can help, but you can opt for other types if they better suit your playstyle.

Once you've defeated the Gypceros, return to Kunafa Village to speak to Zatoh. He'll reward you with Carbalite Ore for upgrades and the Sharp Kunafa Cheese meal ingredient.

Fortnite Joss Wanted quest

Now that we've met Skillet and completed his Wanted quests in Fortnite, it's time to talk to Joss. She's all about exploring the supposed magic on the island and tasks you with figuring out what's causing Chapter 6's demonic invasion using science. Oh, and Big Dill is hosting a party.

Fortnite Wanted: Joss quest walkthrough

Fortnite's Wanted: Joss Quest is a six-part series requiring you to work alongside Joss, the Magic Mosses' Black Market merchant. She doesn't believe any of what's happened was caused by magic and, instead, thinks there's a logical scientific explanation. Your goal is to help her get closer to the truth using chemistry.

Stage One

Before you officially meet Joss, you'll first need to damage opponents in either Crime City or Lonewolf Lair. The easiest way to do this is to damage guards protecting the two landmarks' bank vaults until you complete the objective. Otherwise, you can target other players you encounter through your Fortnite match.

Stage Two

Fortnite Joss dialogue
Screenshot by Destructoid

Once you inflict 200 damage to any players or NPCs in your Fortnite matches, your next goal is to visit Joss in Magic Mosses' Black Market. In Magic Mosses, you'll find a small cabin where the Black Market map icon is, with a staircase leading down to the shop's area. Inside this shop is Joss, who'll brief you on the current situation and recommends talking to Big Dill in Crime City.

Stage Three

With Joss' briefing out of the way, it's time to visit Crime City and talk to Big Dill. You'll find him on a building's rooftop, dancing on a disco floor surrounded by music speakers. This objective aligns with Big Dill's Found quests, so watch out for those, too.

There's a chance you'll encounter a bug while completing this stage of Joss' Wanted quests. If you attempt to talk to Big Dill, you may not find any briefing dialogue that progresses the story. Much like Skillet's Wanted quest, you'll need to join a Ranked match to get this to work.

Once you approach Big Dill in a Ranked match, he'll brief you on his party and ask for help in setting it up. Below are three ways to set up the party:

  • Open box of drinks
  • Pick up records
  • Jam next to Big Dill

Since you have to complete a combination of these four tasks, you'll have to interact with multiple boxes of drinks or records on the ground. You'll mostly find them on the building floors under Big Dill. Once you find everything and jam out on the dance floor, talk to Big Dill to complete both his Found quest and this portion of Joss' Wanted mission.

Stage Four

After arranging the best party Fortnite has ever seen alongside Big Dill, it's time to find a collateral damage assault rifle and eliminate some opponents. You have four options for finding one:

  • Chest loot
  • Floor loot
  • Player elimination drops
  • Black Market (Crime City, Magic Mosses)

Fortunately, if you're still in Crime City, you can find a nearby Black Market selling an epic-grade rifle for 600 Gold. Alternatively, if you have some Dill Bits on hand, you can head to Magic Mosses' Black Market and buy legendary-grade or Mythic-grade versions.

Fortnite collateral damage assault rifle
Screenshot by Destructoid

If you don't want to spend Dill Bits or gold, you can also loot chests, watch for floor loot, or eliminate players until you pick up the AR. It isn't necessarily a rare drop, but you might only end up with a weaker common or uncommon version instead.

Once you have your collateral damage assault rifle, it's time to find players and NPCs to eliminate. An easy way to finish this is by visiting any bank vault and defeating its guards, but you can also target players to work toward getting a Victory Royale. It's ultimately up to you: the important part is eliminating three people for the quest.

Stage Five

Next up is collecting mineral samples using a Plasma Burst Laser. Like the AR, you can get a laser from Black Markets, chest loot, and floor loot. You can also get lucky and get one by eliminating other players, particularly ones near bank vaults who use them to target the door's weak points.

Once you have a plasma burst laser, use it on any stone structure — a wall, most likely — until you get a shining mineral sample. It'll appear with a bright white glow around it, differentiating it from other similar drops. Pick it up before returning to Joss for your final objective.

Stage Six

Fortnite Joss chemistry table
Screenshot by Destructoid

Your last goal is to take the mineral samples from the previous task and analyse them at Joss' chemistry table. Fortunately, this is the most straightforward task of the six, as it only requires you to revisit Joss and use the chemistry set behind her. Once you interact with it, you'll complete the final task of Fortnite's Wanted: Joss quest series, which will reward you with XP and prepare you for Midas' Wanted missions.

Tony Hawk in Pro Skater 3 + 4

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series was a childhood staple for 1999-2000s kids. Fans relived the nostalgia with the 1 + 2 remaster, and now, Pro Skater 3 + 4 is set to bring it back once again.

Cancel your summer plans—Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 drops on July 11, 2025. Everything you know and love about this skating world has been completely revamped with the new-gen consoles, modernizing its classic graphics from the PlayStation 2, GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Xbox days.

Out of all the expected features, I'm sincerely hoping the original soundtrack returns. My music taste first took shape the minute I stepped into Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3's universe. I just remember repeatedly playing "If You Must Song" by Del the Funky Homosapien, and I still find myself listening to it to this day. The rest of the soundtrack is golden, with hits like "Blitzkrieg Bop" by The Ramones and "Alien Ant Farm" by Wish. Although the Reveal Trailer mentions a 'New and Legendary Soundtrack,' it seems as if the original will be a part of it. It even uses Tony Hawk's Pro Skater's 3's "Ace of Spades" by Motörhead as the lead song.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-PedsiljOc

Hopefully, Tony Hawk Pro Skater's 4's soundtrack will also remain relatively the same, which is another classic gem that expanded my musical horizons. Though, I'm intrigued to see what other songs will enter the picture, especially since Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remaster mixed in the old with the new.

In addition to the killer soundtrack, get ready for fresh maps, new characters, and mind-blowing tricks that will take your skating experience to a whole new level. Classic maps, such as Alcatraz, College, and Foundry, are also included in the remaster. You can test out the latest HAWK mode, a new competitive game that allows you to go against fellow players.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Pre-purchase to score three days of early access before the July 11th launch. Plus, acquiring the Deluxe Edition will unlock the Doom Slayer and Revenant as playable characters. So, grab your board, crank up the music, and get ready to shred like never before.

  • Gabriel 86

  • Girellli 85
  • Bruno Fernandes 87
  • Benzema 86

While the SBC is a tad more expensive for my tastes, I love how the Gallagher card looks regarding stats. It has a great defensive presence, and the combination of Pinged Pass+ and Intercept+ is one of my favorites in the current meta. Additionally, he has four different roles++ and the chance to get various upgrades in the future.

In many ways, this SBC can be a great bargain like the Neco Williams Fantasy FC SBC, released a few days back in Ultimate Team.

Dotemu reveals Absolum

Legendary developer and publisher Dotemu, known best for its ability to craft epic experiences in the beat 'em genre like Streets of Rage 4 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Reveng,e has just revealed an all-new IP it's been working on titled Absolum, and its art style is one I want to see more of.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvI172bkKDk

Absolum is Dotemu's first-ever original IP, and as such they aren't holding back. For Absolum, Dotemu has teamed up with another pinnacle developer in the genre, Guard Crush Games, who also worked on Streets of Rage 4. The animation for Absolum is also being done by Supamonks, making the full development team behind Absolum a trifecta of greatness that's sure to do the genre justice.

At its core, Absolum is an arcade-style beat 'em up, Dotemu is well known for developing, but also integrates some more RPG-style mechanics, including various unlockable items, quests, and an upgrade progression system. It also features a trove of challenging bosses with unique attacks and strategies required to take them down, tapping into the essence of classic brawlers like Golden Axe and Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara.

Players can go solo or team up in two-player local or online co-op to fight as one of four different rebel characters in Absolum, each with their own unique skill set, personality, and motivations. As these characters players will explore the fantasy-rich world of Talamh, a mysterious environment filled with twisted cosmic horrors that players must combat.

Absolum is Dotemu's boldest creation yet, standing as our first original IP and a crucial new venture for the future of Dotemu. Absolum builds on knowledge gained from our previous beat 'em up collaboration with Guard Crush Games and our publishing work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, as well as a lifelong passion we share with Guard Crush Games for classic and modern beat 'em up titles. Our ultimate goal is to fundamentally evolve the genre's potential in a way that's unique from the traditional brawlers we've all come to love, and I knew the team was well suited to accomplish this from the first time I played Absolum.

- Cyrille Imbert, CEO of Dotemu

I had the opportunity to play through the first hour of Absolum, and to summarize my experience, it left me desperately wanting more. I'm admittedly not the most familiar with the beat 'em up genre, mostly because I suck at them. But Dotemu and Guard Crush have added enough non-standard features of the genre to Absolum that have put the title on my watch list for the future, such as the RPG mechanics like progression and character development.

Visually, Absolum is absolutely stunning, and Supamonks has knocked it out of the park with the fluid hand-drawn animation. The stylized animation of the different attacks each character has, paired with the foreground and background animations of the various environments throughout Absolum is beautiful and I can't wait to see more of the world of Talamh.

It's a bold and ambitious attempt to reinvigorate a the long-standing beat 'em up genre, and I think fans will appreciate what Dotemu, Guard Crush, and Supamonks are doing with Absolum.

There is no concrete release date yet for Absolum as it's still in development, but Dotemu has indicated it's set to release in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as PC.

How to fix Games account is not eligible for migration at this time in GTA Online

With the launch of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC, Rockstar has allowed users to migrate their existing GTAV Legacy online profile to the new Enhanced version, but many users are encountering an error. Here is how to fix the Games Account is Not Eligible for Migration at This Time error on GTA Online when trying to migrate profiles.

Solutions for fixing 'Account is Not Eligible for Migration at This Time' error

The best way to fix the Account is Not Eligible for Migration at This Time error when trying to migrate your GTA Online profile from Legacy to Enhanced is to simply wait a little bit and try again later as the servers are currently being slammed from all the users trying to migrate. It's also worthwhile to completely close Grand Theft Auto V and restart the entire process again to make sure you have a stable connection when doing so.

As the day goes on and more players either successfully migrate, or stop trying to migrate, the servers will clear out and no longer be congested, meaning players should no longer receive this error due to congestion but only if they are having an actual issue related to migration. However, there are still some issues that could cause this error message to be legitimate.

Additional Fixes for Not Eligible for Migration error on GTA Online

While most users are receiving this error simply due to server congestion, there are a few issues that can also trigger this error and therefore have a few other solutions and fixes you can try to get it to work. Here's some additional fixes worth trying when attempting to migrate your GTA Online profile from Legacy to Enhanced:

  • Migration can only occur on PC. If you are trying to migrate from PC to Console or Console to PC, you will receive this error.
  • Soft banned accounts cannot migrate. This is a bit of a headache, but Rockstar has tracked down hacked and duped money in GTA Online Legacy and any account that received such money has been soft banned from migrating. Unfortunately, this means even if you unknowingly traded with someone who had hacked money, your account could be soft banned from migrating, and you will have to start over.
  • Double check you own the Enhanced version. Everyone with the Legacy Version should have automatically received GTA 5 Enhanced, but depending on where you purchased the game it may not have automatically activated. You will not be able to migrate unless you own both versions.

Dill Bit purchase box in Fortnite

Fortnite's Weekly Quests often push you into the heart of battle. Chapter 6 is no different, with Dill Bill and the Lawless crew taking over Battle Royale. Learn how to complete the objective of finding and searching a Dill Bit Display Case in Fortnite.

All Dill Bit Display Case locations in Fortnite

You can find Dill Bit Display Cases inside vaults in the following points of interest:

  • Crime City
  • Seaport City
  • Lonewolf Lair
  • Masked Meadows

Each destination presents a vault icon, helping you narrow down the Display Case's location. Unfortunately, everyone and their mother travel to these areas, so come well-prepared. If you see a red dot on one of the map's vault icons, I recommend trying for another one, as someone is already there. The only way I got lucky with this quest is by going to a vault where the Storm Circle is closing in. It's a bit risky, but it did end up working for me.

Vault locations in Fortnite

You'll usually find a bank building around these areas, where you can locate the vault inside. This point of interest differs from secret vaults, which are much more hidden.

How to open a vault for Dill Bit Display Case in Fortnite

Obtain a Thermite to open the vault for Fortnite's Dill Bit Display Case. It's best to loot bags on the ground to get them for free, or else you will have to spend money at Black Market. Just look around for these bags (they are pretty much everywhere), and you should get a Thermite in no time.

Finding and using Thermite in Fortnite

Attach the Thermite to the vault to begin a limited-time battle with NPCs. You'll need to eliminate enemies until the bar fills up. It takes a minute or two to load up, so try to survive as long as possible.

Once the bar fills up, you can enter the vault and interact with the Dill Bit Display Case. In return, you'll receive a notification of completing the Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2 Weekly Quest.

How to use Dill Bit in Fortnite

Head to a nearby Black Market, marked by its distinct map icon, to use your Dill Bit. Exchange it to purchase exclusive Fortnite content, including a Falcon Eye Sniper and Vulture Boon.

Each reward usually costs one Dill Bit, meaning you'll have to loot more vaults to purchase more goods. However, remember that other players can interact with the Black Market, and you may have to move over to another one if all resources are exhausted. The professor in Monster Hunter Wilds

Progression in Monster Hunter Wilds, like in previous games, is split across two main modes: Low Rank and High Rank. Low Rank is primarily to present the main story campaign, and High Rank is where the real game actually starts. But how long does it take to get there?

How long is the Low Rank story in Monster Hunter Wilds

An airship in Monster Hunter Wilds
Screenshot by Destructoid

The amount of time it takes to reach High Rank in Monster Hunter Wilds varies, well, wildly... depending on how you play, your skill level, and the amount of time you have to play per day. I've listed a few possibilities below and I'll explain why I chose them afterward.

  • Brand new solo player: 25-30 hours
  • Longer-term casual solo player: 15 hours
  • Series veteran: 10 hours maximum
  • New group of co-op players: 20-30 hours
  • Longer-term casual co-op players: 15-20 hours
  • Veteran co-op players: 7-10 hours absolute maximum
  • Players who farm Low Rank monsters: +1 hour per two or three monsters hunted

Most of the difficulty in Monster Hunter games comes from a lack of foundational knowledge. How to make workable "builds" as you progress, which weapons work best with your playstyle, and how and when to heal are just a few of the considerations. Lacking any or all of those is a big way to increase your necessary playtime. Then there are the hours of cutscenes you can choose to watch if you want a full view of the narrative.

The smithy working in Monster Hunter Wilds
Screenshot by Destructoid

I've put more almost 1,000 hours into the series since the release of Monster Hunter World in 2018, and while that's a paltry number for true veterans, it's enough to get me by. As such, I consider myself a longer-term casual player. I've got a good understanding of the basics.

I know that I need to upgrade my armor as I go, which perks work with my favorite weapons (Switch Axe and Greatsword), and generally how they play. Not counting the few times I left the game open, I probably spent about 12 hours getting through the Low Rank campaign.

If Wilds is your first Monster Hunter, however, there are a lot of concepts and mechanics you simply won't understand. That knowledge can take dozens of hours to learn. You might also encounter a monster that becomes a brick wall you can't overcome. Experiencing and defeating the monster giving you conniptions is part of the Monster Hunter learning curve.

Every quest you need to complete to finish Low Rank in Monster Hunter Wilds

Low Rank will introduce you to most, but not all, of the monsters you'll face in Monster Hunter Wilds, and it takes place over the first three chapters of the story. I'll be spoiling the names and monsters you'll fight in Low Rank now, so if you want to go into the experience blind, look away.

If you're still here, know that there are 21 total monsters to fight across the Low Rank campaign. That doesn't include hunting any Small Monsters or Endemic Life, only those beasts you need to fight to continue the story. Here's the complete list of quests and their targets:

Some Low Rank quests in Monster Hunter Wilds
Screenshot by Destructoid

  1. Slimy Situation: Chatacabra
  2. Hot on Their Tails: Quematrice
  3. A Stage of Rose and Thorn: Quematrice
  4. Drive Off the Congalala!: Congalala
  5. Balahara of the Sandsea: Balahara
  6. Pinnacle of the Pack: Alpha Doshugama
  7. A Feast in the Deep: Uth Duna (only repelled, not hunted)
  8. A Fuse Ignited: Rompololo
  9. A Merciless Glare: Rey Dau
  10. The Quiet, Cunning Assassin: Nerscylla
  11. Fight or Flight: Hirabami
  12. Ajarakan Ablaze: Ajarakan
  13. The Black Flame Quietly Manifests: Nu Udra
  14. An Ominous Encounter: Guardian Doshugama (slay only, capture is unavailable)
  15. The Ashen King: Guardian Rathalos (slay only, capture is unavailable)
  16. Repel the Guardian Arkveld: Guardian Arkveld (only repelled, not hunted)
  17. The Rimechain Trail: Jin Dahaad (only repelled, not hunted)
  18. Watcher of the Ancient Capital: Guardian Ebony Odagaron (slay only, capture is unavailable)
  19. A Hunter in the Void: Xu Wu
  20. The Pale Dream of a Lone Shadow: Guardian Arkveld (slay only, capture is unavailable)
  21. Guardian Zoh Shia: Zoh Shia (slay only, capture is unavailable)

To make the process as comfortable as possible, I'd recommend upgrading your armor and weapons every three or four quests at a minimum. For the first few missions, your upgrading ability will be limited. However, once you unlock upgrading armor with Armor Spheres, you'll want to always add at least a few levels to your main pieces. The Defense bonus is small but significant.

Lastly, don't worry too much about making anything resembling a build. All of the gear you farm in Low Rank will be instantly obsolete when you reach High Rank, but you can use your time in Low Rank to experiment with the choices you have. Generally, if a gear perk increases your damage, it's good to have. If it helps defend against a status effect, it's also good, but less important than damage. Damage and damage-type resistances are nice to haves, as is anything that saves you resources like Free Meal.

You also shouldn't worry too much if your Low Rank time is long or short. High Rank is a massive pace and gameplay change, and it's not going anywhere fast. Use the time to enjoy Monster Hunter Wilds at its simplest.

Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf

The world of League of Legends is steeped in rich lore and complicated back stories. Perhaps few family legends are more filled with war and bloodshed than the Medardas, with Mel being a central character in the Netflix series Arcane

Briefly in the first season, and more frequently in the second season, we encountered Mel's mother Ambessa, a well-known League champion within the franchise. Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf, written by acclaimed fantasy author C.L. Clarke, is set 10 years before the events of Arcane and centers around her fight to become the head of the Medardas.

Battling to stay ahead on the battlefields as a warrior and general is daunting enough, but Medarda must also perform her duties as mother to Mel, and face off against her cousin Ta'Fik, who knows too much of her past and also wants to lead their clan. It all adds up, understandably, to a lot of stress for Ambessa.

For fans of League of Legends, the prologue of the novel will be familiar, as it's the written version of "Blood, Sweat & Tears", the music video featuring Ambessa:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhTZTy1rZhw

Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf is available now in both the US and UK in print novel, e-book, and audiobook formats from Amazon, Google Play, and all good book retailers. If you're outside of these two locations, there is good news on the horizon, as it will be released in the following countries as well:

  • Spain (March 20, 2025)
  • Poland (March 26, 2025)
  • France (September 4, 2025)
  • Germany (TBD)
  • Hungary (TBD)
  • Italy (TBD)
  • Turkey (TBD)
  • Additional territories (TBD)

It's always good when additional lore is packed into a novel that will keep you enthralled, and with Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf having been selected as an Amazon Editors' Pick for Best Science Fiction & Fantasy in February 2025, it's sure to keep your attention as you dive back into the world of League of Legends all over again.

Does Elden Ring Nightreign have crossplay support?

Elden Ring Nightreign is taking what we know about the series and turning it into a roguelike. One of the best aspects of this genre are the bosses, which there are plenty of. So, in Nightreign, here are all the confirmed new and returning bosses so far.

All new bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign

The following are all we know so far from trailers, screenshots, and those encountered in the recently concluded Closed Network Test.

So far, these are the new bosses in the game (as in they have not appeared in a game prior to Nightreign):

  • Tricephalos (Gladius)
  • Seven other unconfirmed Night Lords

Characters fighting in Elden Ring Nightreign
Image via FromSoftware

All returning bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign

  • Ancient Dragon
  • Ancient Heroes of Zamor
  • Crucible Knight
  • Crystallians
  • Demi-Human Queen + Demi-Human Swordsmaster
  • Depraved Perfumer
  • Draconic Tree Sentinel and Royal Cavalrymen
  • Elder Lion
  • Fell Omen (Morgott)
  • Fire Prelate
  • Flame Chariot(s)
  • Flying Dragon of the Hills (Agheel)
  • Godskin Noble
  • Golden Hippopotamus
  • Guardian Golem
  • Leonine Misbegotten
  • Lordsworn Captain
  • Miranda Blossom (Miranda The Blighted Bloom)
  • Nox Warriors
  • Oracle Envoys
  • Royal Army Knights
  • Royal Carian Knight
  • Sanguine Noble
  • Wormface

All these bosses act mostly like those we have seen and encountered in the original Elden Ring. The only difference is that, with the cooperative aspect, you'll have to fight multiples or those in a mob setting.

There are others with general names, but use the exact model of those with proper names in Elden Ring, like the Fell Omen being Morgott, but not named as such.

Elden Ring Nightreign Nameless King
Image via FromSoftware

All Dark Souls bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign

  • Centipede Demon (DS1)
  • The Duke's Dear Freja (DS2)
  • Nameless King (DS3)

The reason why we're seeing bosses from Souls games is just because of a fun design choice. There isn't a lore reason why bosses from previous games, especially those like the Nameless King, are appearing here.

There will be more bosses shown in later trailers, if we get new updates, or a potential second testing period. When any of those happen, we'll be sure to update you as they come.

Fortnite Big Dill location featured image

In Fortnite, if you want to have a good time and party until there's no tomorrow, Big Dill is your guy. The game also knows this, giving you two separate quests and asking you to help him with his party by collecting various items around Crime City.

Big Dill location in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2

Big Dill is an NPC within Crime City. You'll find him atop a building with a disco floor, music speakers, and cardboard cutouts of various Fortnite characters. Since it's relatively small, you can easily mantle up a few floors to reach it or climb the stairs and parkour up if that's easier.

Fortnite Big Dill location
Screenshot by Destructoid

Big Dill is a pickle, so you'll, unsurprisingly, find a walking pickle NPC once you reach this building. You can talk to him about his weapon of choice or him being an inspiration, but our goal is to hear him talk about his party. He'll tell you the four things he needs, but our focus is on dancing and drinks. This officially marks the beginning of Big Dill's Found quest.

Why can't I complete the 'Somebody's planning a party in Crime City' quest?

As you approach Big Dill and talk to him, there's a chance you won't find his Found quest dialogue option. Instead, you'll find his mini-shop and miscellaneous chat options with no way to advance the quest. This is a known bug with both Big Dill's Found mission and the previous Wanted: Skillet quest.

If you encounter this bug and are unsure how to fix it, you can fix it using the tips below:

  • Finish Joss' Wanted quest objectives until you find "Help Big Dill with the party."
  • Join a Ranked Fortnite match.
  • Leave and rejoin lobbies until the option appears.

Before you can finish this quest, you must complete the first two parts of Joss' Wanted mission. You can complete these by damaging enemies in Crime City and Lonewolf Lair before heading to Magic Mosses and talking to Joss herself. She'll ask you to help Big Dill with his party, aligning both quests and letting you knock out two birds with one stone.

If you still encounter this bug after completing her quest, join a Ranked Fortnite match and try talking to him again. This solution worked for me, but in rare cases, you may still have this issue. If you do, leave and rejoin a few lobbies until you find one that works.

How to help Big Dill with the party

Now that you've solved Big Dill's quest bug, it's time to help him with his party. The next objective simply says to help Big Dill get the party started, with four actions required to do so. Our goal is to find drink bottles and records on the ground.

First up are the boxes of bottles, which spawn around Big Dill's building. The first box is near Big Dill along the rooftop's ledge, while the second is on the floor below behind a bar counter.

You can also find two records for this quest within this building. The first is on the balcony near the second drink box, while the other is on the building's bottom floor in the bathroom.

If you can only find two or three items and don't want to waste time finding the rest, you can also jam out on the rooftop near Big Dill to satisfy one of the four actions. You can do this by opening your emote menu using B on the keyboard, Down Arrow on consoles, or the Emote button on mobile before scrolling to Jam Tracks. Pick any Jam Track to play an instrument, knocking out the objective and letting you complete Big Dill's Found quest.

Various Pokemon TCG Artwork Lugia cards

Lugia, the psychic/flying-type Pokemon who serves as the box art 'mon for Pokemon Silver (and by extension SoulSilver), debuted in the Pokemon TCG in the Neo Genesis set from the year 2000. This set marked the first appearance of Generation Two Pokemon.

In the TCG, Lugia is almost always depicted as a normal type, and its cards have become something of a holy grail for collectors, likely since Lugia is a notable legendary 'mon from the game's (and the TCG's) early days. As such, the most valuable Lugia cards of all time often fetch outrageous prices on the secondary market. Let's dive in.

Note: The prices quoted all come from TCGPlayer.com's market price history, which can fluctuate over time and are reliant on sales of each card on the platform. Supplementary price information for each card, if necessary, came from PriceCharting.com.

10. Holofoil Lugia LEGEND (Bottom) – HeartGold & SoulSilver

Market Price: $111.38

The HeartGold & SoulSilver set introduced Pokemon LEGEND cards, which featured two halves that had to be played in unison. This was a novel concept in the Pokemon TCG, and, as such, cards featuring the LEGEND sub-type are hot commodities on the secondary market.

Despite the bottom half of Lugia LEGEND featuring the card's attacks, it is slightly less expensive than the top half – likely because you can pretty much only see Lugia's head on it.

9. Holofoil Lugia LEGEND (Top) – HeartGold & SoulSilver

Market Price: $115.27

Image via The Pokemon Company

The top half of Lugia LEGEND allows you to see the full extent of the stunning Shinji Higuchi artwork, which shows Lugia diving deep into the ocean – leaving a swirling maelstrom of blue and green colors in its wake.

These Lugia cards might have the best artwork of any card on this list, and the LEGEND card series in general might be on the shortlist for best Pokemon TCG card art of all time.

8. Holofoil Lugia GX (Secret) – Lost Thunder

Market Price: $171.30

Image via The Pokemon Company

This secret rare Lugia holofoil from 2018's Lost Thunder set continued a long-running (though now defunct) tradition, beginning with 2017's Sun & Moon set, of secret rare "rainbow" cards.

In this instance, Lugia is given the rainbow art treatment to spectacular effect, as the normally fairly monocolored Lugia is beautifully rendered with all the colors in the spectrum. This card's over-$150 price point is also buoyed by the presence of a strong GX attack called Lost Purge GX, which sends your foe's active Pokemon directly to the Lost Zone – no questions asked.

7. Holofoil Lugia EX (Team Plasma) (Full Art) – Plasma Storm

Market Price: $215.64

Image via The Pokemon Company

This threatening-looking Lugia hails from 2013's Plasma Storm set and showcases a Lugia that has been tainted by the main villains from Generation Five in the mainline Pokemon games.

The Unova bad guys have turned this Lugia into a powerhouse, and its ability, Overflow, allows you to take one more prize card if it knocks out an opposing 'mon – much like modern-day Iron Hands ex decks aim to do.

6. Holofoil Lugia V (Alternate Full Art) – Paradigm Trigger

Market Price: $217.74

Holofoil Lugia V (Alternate Full Art) Paradigm Trigger Card
Image via The Pokemon Company

The only non-English card on this list hails from 2022's Paradigm Trigger expansion and is the same card as the Lugia V alternate full art printing from the English Silver Tempest set – just in Japanese. Modern cards have skyrocketed in value of late, and this Lugia card has benefited mightily from that surge.

For discerning collectors, Japanese cards are often the preferred version as they feel and look slightly different from their English counterparts – not to mention the price is usually notably lower for Japanese singles. Compare this Lugia V, for example: the Japanese version is worth around $215 and the English one is worth over $300.

5. Holofoil Lugia ex – Unseen Forces

Market Price: $249.25

This ultra-rare from 2005's Unseen Forces set features some striking, moody artwork by Hikaru Koike as well as an incredibly strong attack (for the time) with a damage-to-energy ratio that almost holds up even by today's standards (though its "discard all energy" drawback does not).

Perhaps the most notable element of this card is its stunning foiling method, which sees the standard cosmos holofoil method expanded to its borders, creating a striking and unusual look that only lasted for a few sets in the TCG. All of those elements combine for a card that will set you back nearly $300 on the secondary market close to 20 years after release… though it still pales in comparison to the rest of the top five.

4. Holofoil Lugia (Shiny) – Call of Legends

Market Price: $300.00

Not only is this card the fourth-most valuable Lugia card of all time in the Pokemon TCG, but it also ranks highly among the most valuable water-type cards of all time. This is also one of only two Lugia cards on this list that is not a normal type.

Shiny cards in the Pokemon TCG are always hot commodities, and if you add a shiny attribute to an already popular legendary 'mon, you're looking at a hefty price tag. As the first card featured here with a median value of $300 or more, that certainly holds true.

3. Holofoil Lugia V (Alternate Full Art) – Silver Tempest

Market Price: $307.21

The most recent card on this list hails from 2022's Silver Tempest set, which introduced the two notable Lugia cards that remain top-tier threats in Pokemon TCG's Standard metagame: this Lugia V and its even more powerful evolution Lugia VSTAR.

While the standard version of Lugia V will only set you back a couple of dollars, this extended-art version is both beautiful and massively valuable, with a price point of just over $300 – a pretty wild amount given this card is not even three years old yet. If you still have any sealed Silver Tempest boosters, definitely hold onto those as they'll only increase in value over time thanks to the presence of this card and other extremely scarce chase cards.

2. Holofoil Lugia – Neo Genesis

Market Price: $943.94

Holofoil Lugia Neo Genesis Card
Image via Wizards of the Coast

The most valuable card from 2000's Neo Genesis set is, unsurprisingly, this stunningly designed Lugia, which was the first card in the TCG to have an attack that required three different energy types.

Also, for the time, 90 damage for only three energy was an amazing rate on par with the most famous card of all time: Base Set Charizard and Legendary Collection Charizard (which dealt 120 damage for four energy). Oftentimes, the first appearance of a 'mon in the TCG equates to also being the most valuable, but in Lugia's case, there is one Lugia card that completely blows the rest out of the water in terms of value.

1. Holofoil Lugia – Aquapolis

Market Price: $2,398.95

Holofoil Lugia Aquapolis Card
Image via Wizards of the Coast

That's right, if you happened to be one of the lucky few who purchased booster packs of the Aquapolis set back in 2003, you could be sitting on a Lugia card that holds a median value in 2025 of just under $2,400.

A combination of factors led to this card holding such a lofty price tag: this card features the unique "crystal type" ability, which alters its typing based on the energy attached to it, it features the unusual and divisive e-Reader card format, and it is from a set that was severely under-printed – making it one of the most valuable sets of all time.

Beyond that, this card has absolutely beautiful artwork by Naoyo Kimura showing a glimmering Lugia in full flight. All of those attributes combine to ensure this card retains its astounding value over 20 years after it debuted.

Shocked Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo in Dragon Ball DAIMA

Dragon Ball DAIMA, the anime that celebrates the franchise's four decades of history, has recently come to a close. It's a beautiful love letter to the fans, perfectly encapsulating the excitement the franchise brings in just 20 episodes. It, after all, features numerous Super Saiyan and even canonizes Super Saiyan 4.

Dragon Ball DAIMA, however, is more than just a recap. It wonderfully expounds on the Demon Realm, while also introducing new nemeses and curious items. One of these items are Join Bugs, though the anime seemed to have completely forgotten about it.

Bugs in Dragon Ball DAIMA

A variety of powerful creepy crawlies

The first quarter of the show were rightfully spent on exploring the Demon Realm. During which, the trio of Goku, Nahare, and Glorio had a number of misadventures. After their ship was stolen, they had to find a more efficient way than traveling on foot. That was when they stumbled upon a curious souvenir shop. Glorio managed to get them a special means of traveling called the Sky Seed, wherein they would be shot into the sky a la harpoon.

However, it was in that very same shop that Goku and Nahare first encountered the Demon Realm's various bugs. There were a variety of them, but five were highlighted: the Revive Bug, Achichi Bug, Zutsu Bug, Beaut Bug, and Join Bug.

The Revive Bug works like a Senzu Bean, restoring the eater's health and stamina. The Achichi Bug heals burns, while the Zutsu Bug cures headaches. As the name implies, the Beaut Bug gives its consumer a silky-smooth skin. Finally, there's the Join Bugs. Should two people share the bug, they would temporarily fuse into one. Basically, it worked just like the Potara earrings.

Suddenly, the Join Bugs were forgotten

At the time, it was obvious that these critters were gonna play an important role in the mini Z fighters' quest on regaining their original bodies, especially as Goku bought a number of them. To be fair, they kinda did. Goku and Vegeta frequently ate Revive Bugs to replenish their strength.

At one point during their fight against the Tertian-Oculus-buffed Gomah, Goku dropped the bug bag. Since there was still ample of time in the final episodes for Goku's camp to somehow recover the bag, it just didn't happen. Super Saiyan 4 Goku takes the spotlight and beat Gomah, our hopes of seeing the Join Bug's effects get buried in oblivion.

Interestingly, the more trivial Beaut Bug beats it in terms of screentime, as it made a re-appearance at the end of the final episode. Just as our heroes are going to return to Earth, they stopped by the same shop. Goku replenished his stock of Revive Bugs as their Senzu Beans were supposedly running low. As Bulma was facing the woes of having not-so-baby skin anymore, she was introduced to the miraculous Beaut Bug. Of course, there was no mention or acknowledgment of the Join Bug.

A true missed opportunity

New forms are always welcome in the Dragon Ball verse. Fans are always eagerly waiting for how Goku or any of the Z fighter will transform. Case in point, the moment Goku mastered Ultra Instinct sent waves across the entire Dragon Ball fandom. This is exactly why the omission of the Join Bug's effects feels like such a massive oversight.

Fusion is also not a new concept. In fact, the moment Goku heard about the Join Bug, he immediately compared it to the said technique. To achieve that, the only known methods are either through the Fusion Dance or the use of Potara earrings. It's not even the same. Using a different Fusion technique results to a different character. With the introduction of Join Bugs, we could have gotten a third method and myriad of possible new characters. Even with Goku and Vegeta aside, it would have been epic to see Kuu fuse with Duu.

Unfortunately, that is gone with the bug bag, though not all hope is lost. Perhaps in a future installation, or even in Dragon Ball Super, the elusive Join Bug will make an appearance once again. Hopefully, at that time, it does more joining than just falling into obscurity.

The best news about all of this, especially given the 87 GB installation size, is that Split Fiction can be pre-loaded. This will allow you to play as soon as the game goes live around the world, so you can dive straight in and get absorbed by the story.

To do this, all you need to do is purchase the game on your selected platform and then simply install it as you would any other game that's already released. You won't be able to play until March 6 at the time listed above for your time zone, but you will have it all set up and ready to go when the time comes.

In case you're still on the fence, check out our Split Fiction review to help make up your mind on whether to get it or not.

Fortnite Big Dill found quest

It's time to party hard in Fortnite with Big Dill in Crime City. He lives on the dance floor and needs your help planning a party. Thankfully, he already did most of the setup, so your main job is to find some drinks and get some music records playing.

Fortnite Big Dill Found quest walkthrough

Fortnite Big Dill Found quest is a two-part mission where you'll locate Big Dill and start a party with him. However, starting it requires progressing through Wanted: Joss until you reach the "Help Big Dill with the party" stage. You may also encounter a bug during this mission, which you can fix by joining a Ranked Fortnite match.

How to complete "Somebody's planning a party in Crime City"

Your goal with this first task is to find Big Dill, a pickle NPC that roams on top of a rooftop in Crime City. As you explore Crime City, look for a large building with a dance floor, music speakers blasting, and colorful lights aimed at the sky. Here, you'll find Big Dill, who'll tell you about his planned party.

Fortnite Big DIll dialogue
Screenshot by Destructoid

However, you may find a bug while completing this mission, much like the previous Wanted Skillet quest. Usually, if you talk to him about the quest, he'll brief you on the party and what he needs to start it. If you don't find this dialogue, you can use the solutions below to fix it:

  1. Complete Joss' Wanted quests until they line up with Big Dill's Found quests.
  2. Join a Ranked Fortnite match.
  3. Leave and rejoin lobbies until the option appears.

Generally speaking, you'll need to complete Joss' Wanted quests and join a Ranked match to finish this part of Big Dill's mission. If these don't work, leave and rejoin a couple of matches until it clicks. There's no word on whether Epic Games is aware of the bug or if they'll fix it, but until they do, these options are our only solutions.

Helping Big Dill with the party

After getting the "Somebody's planning a party in Crime City" objective to work and talking to Big Dill, it's time to help him set up the party. You can do this by completing the following tasks:

  • Open box of drinks
  • Pick up records
  • Jam next to Big Dill

As you explore the building under Big Dill, you'll find drink boxes and records on the ground with which to interact. You'll need to find four total items for the quest, most of which are within this building. In particular, you can spot a drink box next to Big Dill's dance floor and below him, with a record on the balcony near the drink box.

If you only find three items during the match, you can jam next to Big Dill by using your Emote Wheel, scrolling to Jam Loops, and picking any song you have unlocked. Doing this lets you play an instrument, knocking out the fourth and final requirement. After completing this objective, talk to Big Dill to officially complete his Found quest, progressing you through Joss' Wanted mission along the way.
