How to Complete A Waste of Lands (Chapter 2: M8) in Element TD 2

For the first mission in Chapter 2 in Element TD 2, we will be facing two portals from different sides where creeps can enter in opposite directions. This one is tougher because there are several elemental creep going out from a single portal and putting up a tower for their weakness will be useless. So what we only need to do is build a tower that will give us just 100% damage.

For this mission, we will be only using a Light tower with its available upgrade.

Creep Elements

This is just for reference, you don't actually need this one since we are only using Light tower to defeat the waves.

Creep Elements Strength / Weakness
Composite Armor Takes 100% damage from Composite
Takes 90% damage from other elements
Nature Creep Takes 50% damage from Earth
Takes 200% damage from Fire
Takes 100% damage from other elements
Water Creep Takes 50% damage from Fire
Takes 200% damage from Darkness
Takes 100% damage from other elements
Darkness Creep Takes 50% damage from Water
Takes 200% damage from Light
Takes 100% damage from other elements

Tower that gives you 200% damage here is Fire, Darkness and Light.

Recommended Loadouts for A Waste of Lands

We recommend to only use Light tower for this mission as it is very effective which gives 100% to 200% damage to the different type of enemies.

Then we also need these upgrade for us to complete mission 8.

  • Light: Lightning Tower 1, Omniscience and Distant Thunder.

Defense Formation

For building our defenses for the initial wave, we have to form a triangular formation at the center of the map from both sides. Since Light tower has very long range, it can effectively distribute fire power to the enemies from the entrance and to the center path way and it can even reach the other side.

When we reach Wave 6, we need to change the target of our towers at the centers to Strong. This is very important so we can easily eliminate mini-bosses that are hiding from the swarm of enemies.

Since our center tower are focusing on the mini-bosses, we should have another triangular formation tower that will take care of weaker enemies. We can put these tower at the T-shape of both side.

As the wave increases and collecting more gold, make sure to complete the formation and upgrade them to Lightning tower accordingly. Below is our final formation.

Once done, you will be able to complete the Mission 8, A Waste of Land in Element TD 2. You may also watch our walkthrough video guide below for your reference.

How to Complete Through the Woods (Chapter 1: M7) in Element TD 2

For the seventh mission on Chapter 1 single player campaign in Element TD 2, you will be encountering a bunch of high speed Composite Armor creep where a regular arrow and cannon tower cannot keep up with their speed. So you need to pick a tower that has faster attack speed for these creeps even though it is not their weakness.

We will also be facing here the Slingshot Boss, there is additional bonus of 2,000 XP when you defeat the boss within 20 seconds of it spawning. This one is tricky and I advice to take this additional bonus when you have enough points for your loadouts.

Creep Elements

Based from the enemies weakness, you can use these elements to earn additional damage to the creeps. But for composite, though its not its weakness, the effective tower for them is a Fire Tower, because it has a higher attack speed and can effectively eliminate all the fast approaching creeps.

Creep Elements Strength / Weakness
Composite Armor Takes 100% damage from Composite
Takes 90% damage from other elements
Darkness Creep Takes 50% damage from Water
Takes 200% damage from Light
Takes 100% damage from other elements
Light Creep Takes 50% damage from Darkness
Takes 200% damage from Earth
Takes 100% damage from other elements
Fire Creep Takes 50% damage from Nature
Takes 200% damage from Water
Takes 100% damage from other elements

Required Loadouts for Through the Woods

The required loadouts you need for "Through the Woods" are Light, Earth and Fire. Water is not needed for now.

Then the upgradable tower that you can use are the following:

  • Light: Lightning Tower 1 and Distant Thunder
  • Earth: Howitzer Tower 1

Defense Formation

For the initial defense, we have to protect our base from the Composite creep. So we need to build a strategic location that our Fire tower can shoot as many as possible. That location is at the center of the map. You can build two of these.

As the game progress, you need to build immediately another Fire tower at the strategic location at the bottom.

After that you're free to build Light and Earth tower at the right corner and bottom. When you have enough gold, don't forget to upgrade your Light tower to Lightning Tower 1 and the Earth tower to Howitzer Tower 1.

At the start of Wave 11, there will be new portal at the top and they will be take the path at the top right corner. So make sure to add a bunch of Light tower in that area.

Then fortify everything with Light and Earth tower. Don't forget to upgrade them until you finish Wave 15. In total we have 14 towers constructed and 11 of them are upgraded.

Bonus Rewards (Slingshot Boss)

As we stated above, take this bonus when you have enough points for loadouts. To achieve this one, you need to build a lot of Earth Tower and upgrade it to Howitzer Tower 1.

The trick is you need to change the target of this tower to Strong and you may also turn on the Focus on. Since our Hawitzer tower is focusing on the Slingshot boss, you also need to put up a bunch of Light Tower and upgrade it to Lightning 1 for them to attack other creeps.

How to Complete Paradise Lost (Chapter 1: M6) in Element TD 2

For the single player campaign in Element TD 2, when you reached Mission 6 "Paradise Lost", it is no longer easily to finish the stage as begins to become tougher even you're playing a Normal Difficulty.

In this guide, we will help you complete this mission by a strategy that you can use to defeat the 15 wave of enemies.

Creep Elements

First, we have to know the details of the enemy creeps, its elements.

Creep Elements Strength / Weakness
Earth Creep Takes 50% damage from Light
Takes 200% damage from Nature
Takes 100% damage from other elements
Composite Armor Takes 100% damage from Composite
Takes 90% damage from other elements
Water Creep Takes 50% damage from Fire
Takes 200% damage from Darkness
Takes 100% damage from other elements
Nature Creep Takes 50% damage from Earth
Takes 200% damage from Fire
Takes 100% damage from other elements

Required Loadouts

Basically, the loadouts you need to defeat the creeps for this mission are Nature, Darkness and Fire.

You also need the following tower upgrades:

  • Darkness: Disease Tower
  • Darkness: Jinx Tower
  • Darkness: Onekill

Defense Formation

For forming your defenses, the first set of wave will begin on the bottom right corner portal. The elements appearing on that portal are Earth Creep, so you need a Nature tower against these enemies.

Since the starting gold is 450, we only need to put a Nature tower at the right and a Darkness tower at the center.

As the game progress, you need to form a triangular formation of Darkness tower at the center. And don't forget to add a tower for the last defense, in case some creeps able to survive.

At the start of Wave 6, we have to sell a single tower from our triangular formation and move it into the top. We need two Darkness Tower at the top left corner. Then you need to collect 325 gold to upgrade one of that tower into Disease Tower 1.

Then you need to collect another 1000 gold to upgrade that disease tower into Jinx Tower.

We are all set, the last thing you need to do is to fortify more your defense, as you collect gold, build a tower immediately. Below is our final formation to complete this mission.

If you notice, we didn't put any Fire tower in our formation, the reason why is some of the enemies spawn at Wave 13 to 15 are immune to fire and it will be a waste of resources to build it just for Nature creep only.
