The best Call of Duty Vanguard STG 44 loadout

Looking for the best STG 44 loadout in Vanguard? The STG 44 packs a powerful punch, being one of the best Vanguard weapons we've seen so far. This loadout is capable of killing enemies in just two shots from almost any distance - use this build while you still can because it will be patched soon. The best part is that you can land the shots anywhere on the body, you don't have to land two headshots to get the job done.

This gun is already in Warzone alongside the M1 Garand - you can unlock the blueprints for both weapons in the Season 6 battle pass. The STG 44 could be one of the best Warzone assault rifles in the game, although it's not widely used as you currently can't customise the loadout. It's also not clear how the ten attachment gunsmith will translate to Warzone when the Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season 1 release date rolls around.

For now, though, here's the best STG 44 loadout for Vanguard multiplayer. This setup is ideal for players that like to get in the fight, and while it takes some hits to accuracy and stability - as long as you keep moving, the new ammo attachment and this gun's impressive sprint to fire speed makes it deadly in the right hands.

     Among Us' next

Among Us has a chonky update on the way, and you're going to find out more about it this week. Innersloth has revealed on Twitter that it's hosting a five-minute presentation tomorrow (November 9) at 11am PST / 2pm EST / 7pm GMT to share what's coming.

Suitably called Emergency Meeting, the livestream will delve further into what roles are on the way alongside some other things the developer isn't revealing just yet. That said, Riot has teased a League of Legends crossover in the latest Progress Days trailer, which features a shot of some crewmates with LoL-style accessories. You'll be able to watch the lowdown on the next major Among Us update on YouTube here when the time comes.

Earlier this year, the Among Us devs released a brief roadmap of things they are working on bringing to the game, though they didn't expand upon any in great detail.. We know that the sheriff and scientist make up two of the coming roles and that the general idea is to give players new ways to play. The team also revealed that they are working on a Hide-and-Seek mode to go with a new map. You'll need to wait until tomorrow, though, to see how much of this will be in the next update.

Steam Deck makes PlayStation portable again with Horizon Zero Dawn

Sony Interactive Entertainment has a lot in the gaming PC pipeline, with PS4 ports of God of War and a shiny new 'PlayStation PC' publishing label. Yet, while the company's multiplatform ambitions cater primarily to high-spec gaming enthusiasts, SIE's former president, Shuhei Yoshida, seems to be enthusiastic about PlayStation's presence on Valve's Steam Deck handheld.

In a recent Twitter post, Yoshida shared a photo of a Steam Deck dev kit running Horizon Zero Dawn and thanked Valve for sending the unit across. Of course, the PlayStation veteran doesn't specify whether the PC port plays nice with the portable, but its inclusion on Valve's verified game list seems likely.

Visually speaking, it looks like Horizon Zero Dawn is running with reduced settings on Yoshida's dev unit, as the game almost looks like it could be a PlayStation Vita title. That said, there's a chance that it could run with higher options enabled, providing you're not looking to boost fps to its full potential.

Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 temporarily pulled due to historical archive footage

You won't be able to buy Metal Gear Solid 2 or 3 for a wee while. Konami has revealed in a blog post on its website that it's temporarily removing the games from digital storefronts while it renews licenses for the historical archive footage featured in them.

"We are currently working on renewing the licenses for select historical archive footage used in-game, therefore, we have made the temporary decision to begin suspending the sale of Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, and all products that include these games from digital storefronts globally starting from November 8, 2021," Konami says in a statement on its site. "We sincerely ask for your patience and understanding as we work towards making these products available for purchase once again."

What that means for PC gamers, essentially, is that you won't be able to obtain Metal Gear 2 Substance through GOG for a little while, and MGS games on other platforms are affected, too. Substance is still available on GOG at the time of writing, though Konami will likely pull that today. Konami didn't say when the games would be available for purchase again.

Nvidia RTX 4000 GPUs may double RTX 3000 performance in PC games

It's hard to believe that Nvidia's RTX 3000 graphics cards launched just over a year ago, and perhaps harder still to see that the company's GPUs are finding their way into gaming PCs faster than the previous generation, despite well-documented market factors. Chip shortages and cryptocurrency booms be damned, though, as rumours point to team green preparing to launch its lineup of RTX 4000 cards in 2022, with recent reports suggesting they could provide up to double the performance of the RTX 3000 series, at a cost.

Hardware leaker Greymon55 took to Twitter to say, "Double performance, double power consumption, can you accept it?" A follow-up tweet confirmed that they were talking about Nvidia's upcoming RTX 4000 series, codenamed 'Ada Lovelace.'

While generational performance increases are to be expected, the TDP (thermal design point) of Nvidia graphics cards has only increased over the past seven years. The RTX 3080 has a TDP rating of 320W and recommends a 700W PSU, meaning that the RTX 4080 may draw up to 640W and require an even larger, more expensive, power supply.

Best gaming keyboard deals ahead of Black Friday

'Black Friday' is one of those phrases that sends shivers down your spine - in a good way - thinking of all the savings you can take advantage of. Gaming headsets, mice, monitors, SSDs, and more are usually reduced to the lowest prices we see all year, but you need not wait any longer for the sales extravaganza to take advantage of the best gaming keyboard deals in the interim - Black Friday now spans the whole month of November.

Why exactly should you get a gaming keyboard over the standard beige rectangle dossed around the workplace? Those everyday keyboards can only handle an average of two inputs at once, which can be problematic when you want to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge out of your enemy's way, throw a grenade, and swap weapons in quick succession.

The benefits don't end there either, as gaming keyboards often come with faster response times, comfortable wrist rests, macro keys, media buttons, RGB lighting, a choice of different kinds of switches, and plenty more goodies, too.

Fable release date – all the latest details on the next Fable game

When is the Fable 4 release date? After years of rumours, Fable was finally revealed at the Xbox 2020 Showcase and it will be developed by Playground Games, the studio behind the Forza Horizon series.

The new Fable game is surprisingly not called Fable 4, suggesting the series will be returning to its fantasy roots after it veered into steampunk territory in Fable 3. That, and the fact the reveal trailer shows us quaint villages, babbling brooks, and lush forests - it appears that the new Fable will return to the medieval-style RPG it once was. Our resident Fable players are thrilled at the return of Fable, so we've wasted no time dissecting every inch of the trailer to bring fellow fans something to chew on until we receive more details.

Join us while we dig through the details, discuss what's likely, and gush openly about what we're hopeful about in the newly announced Fable game.

League of Legends' next Arcane content adds a

League of Legends' big Arcane-themed celebratory bash is in full swing, and developer Riot Games has announced the in-game event's next phase is here. Called Progress Days - named after a holiday in the gleefully received Netflix show that just launched - the new phase brings a bunch of content to some of the Runeterra universe's core games, including a "new interactive experience" for the flagship MOBA game.

Progress Days is themed on the Arcane show's celebration of all things tech, which the people of Piltover celebrate as a holiday. For League of Legends, this new phase of the ongoing tie-in means the arrival of the Council Archives - "a new interactive experience where you can study more of Arcane's story", as Riot explains in a press release.

Additionally, this week marks the point at which players can start unlocking champion Jayce's Arcane skin by winning one (or playing three) games. If you're keen to get a look at this skin, head to our recent patch notes here. As with all the new Arcane-themed skins, they'll each be available to grab for 975 RP after December 9.

The best Genshin Impact Keqing build

Looking for the best Genshin Impact Keqing build? Keqing is one of the most powerful characters in the entire game, earning a high spot on our Genshin Impact tier list. This sword-wielding Electro character deals incredibly high damage against single targets, perfect to pit against high-level bosses.

Characters that are centred entirely around their element can suffer in late-game areas where enemies become resistant to certain elements. Fortunately, Keqing doesn't have to rely solely on her Electro abilities as her regular physical attacks are strong enough to take down enemies. In addition to this, Keqing's elemental skill gives her excellent mobility that is useful in combat and traversing the world.

Keqing works best as a carry DPS due to her impressive damage output. When paired with the correct characters, the Electro-based elemental reactions can kill weaker enemies in an instant. If you're looking for someone to carry your party through the harder Spiral Abyss floors, Keqing is definitely worth considering. Here's everything you need to create the best Genshin Impact Keqing build.

New World fiber: the best hemp location and how to get linen

Want to know how to get hemp in New World to get fiber and linen? Hemp is a valuable one to gather, and not just for increasing your gathering levels. You can weave hemp into linen to level up your weaving skill, and you can use the linen to make clothes and armour. This is a skill you'll use early on, so if you're new to the MMO game, why not check out our New World beginner's guide for some tips to get you started.

Gathering skills are an important part of the game, and you should start leveling them early - you can find out more about this in our New World leveling guide. While you could theoretically go harvest herbs and farm plants to increase your harvesting skill easily, hemp gives you a great amount of early harvesting level experience. You need to increase your harvesting skill significantly to harvest some of the more unusual flora, so it's well worth investing in this skill as soon as possible.

While you could aimlessly wander around the world trying to find the best place to go and gather these tall violet plants, there is one farming location that yields a significant amount of this precious crop. This guide will show you the best New World hemp location.

New Mass Effect game gets another teaser to tide fans over

Geth a load of this, Mass Effect fans, you now have something to mull over for teases while you wait for more news. BioWare has revealed a new poster for the upcoming Mass Effect game to round off N7 Day.

The poster depicts a ship that's landed on a planet, with the crew walking toward a crater. Fans were swift to point out that the different colours of the world make the landscape look like a big ol' Geth face, which is a race of networked artificial bits of intelligence that hang out beyond the Perseus Veil, if you need a reminder.

There are a few other wee details you can notice if you zoom in, too. There are four crew members, and one of them appears to be a Krogan, which is another race in Mass Effect that seems big and brutish. If you look towards the crater, you'll also see the remains of what looks like another Geth. If you're more into your space crafts, you can get a good look at the ship, too, to see what that's all about.

Genshin Impact events – all current and upcoming events

Want to know more about the upcoming Genshin Impact events? A new version of Genshin Impact arrives every six weeks, complete with new characters, quests, and events. It's difficult to keep track of which events are currently running and if there are any new ones coming soon, so here's a schedule for all current and upcoming Genshin Impact events.

Genshin Impact has a number of events running simultaneously, and they aren't just in-game events. When a new Genshin Impact character joins the game, the devs launch a web event at the same time - players learn about the latest characters through an interactive story told through a web browser. The rewards for completing different events range from in-game items like primogems and mora, to real life prizes like mouse mats and plushies.

Just like the Genshin Impact banners, most events are only available for a limited time, so it's worth participating as soon as you can. New events are usually added to Genshin Impact after an update, but it's worth keeping an eye out on this page as the devs do like to surprise the community.
