Best games like Monster Hunter: World you can play on PC

What are the best PC games like Monster Hunter: World? We had to make our own fun for a while as Monster Hunter: World came to consoles first. Now that it is on PC, though, we can join in on the fun and indulge a power fantasy that includes launching an overgrown lizard into the air by swinging a hammer the size of an elephant's hindquarters into its scaly gut.

The benefit of waiting, however, is that we've been able to clue ourselves up on some of the best PC games like Monster Hunter: World, too. Now if we want to play something a little bit different, the option is there.

Plenty follow the same beats that Capcom's series lays out, such as a Jurassic theme and hunting monsters for amour. If that's your scene, check out Dauntless. Some share the same incentive for loot, but change other elements. For example, Destiny 2 is very much about the grind for better gear but is based in space. Anyway, enough of the chitter chatter, here are some of the best PC games like Monster Hunter: World.

Valve's Steam Deck dock could pop up this Spring

The Steam Deck may be a hulking, handheld gaming PC, but it could also make for a great 1080p desktop alternative. Valve's official docking station won't arrive alongside the portable powerhouse on February 25, but a now-deleted update on the device's website suggests its release won't be too far behind.

Spotted by Reddit user SheepherderOdd2190, the Steam Deck website's hardware section (prior to its reversal) says that Valve's USB-C docking station will arrive "Spring 2022", while also including a wishlist button. While the handheld should be compatible with a variety of third-party solutions, the official dock comes armed with Displayport 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and two USB connections, which all connect to the Deck via a single USB-C cable.

Just like the Nintendo Switch, the Steam Deck dock functions as a stand, and its USB-C connector contours up the back of the device. Sure, Valve's solution doesn't involve simply dropping it into a convenient slot, but the setup should make quickly switching from handheld to desktop gameplay snappy.

Elden Ring reviews – our roundup of the critics' scores

While Elden Ring's release date is drawing closer, we still have a few days to wait until we can jump into Hidetaka Miyazaki's next game. Luckily for us, though, Elden Ring reviews are pouring in, so we now have a good idea of what we're in for.

Safe to say, things are looking quite good! Deputy editor Jordan gave it a ten-out-of-ten score in our Elden Ring PC review. "A supercut of FromSoft's very best work, transported to a totally new space," he says. "Elden Ring is not only a masterpiece by its developer's lofty standards, but in packing so much density into the Lands Between, it lights the path ahead for open-world games in general."

It looks like we're not alone in our praise of Elden Ring, either. Polygon has called it "FromSoftware's most accessible, and difficult, game yet", and plenty of other critics have given the game a perfect score, too. At the time of writing, The new PC game is currently sat at 96 and 98 on review aggregate sites Opencritic and Metacritic, respectively.

How to visit Adrift or Pawntoon in a motorboat in Fortnite

Want to know how to visit Adrift or Pawntoon in a Fortnite motorboat? Finding one of these motorised naval vessels in the popular battle royale game is relatively easy, especially if you head to any docks on the coast. However, locating Adrift and Pawntoon is a little trickier as these landmarks are both in the middle of the ocean.

Speaking of loot, this week's other season challenges are mostly quite simple to finish. The trickiest challenge has players collect treasure using Drake's map in Fortnite, similar to how players used treasure maps in previous seasons. As we come to the end of Chapter 3 Season 1, there may be some challenges you've not finished yet, such as duelling Fortnite NPCs or how to drive a Quadcrasher to Pinnacle Peak.

For this ocean-going challenge, your best bet is to find a boat close to Greasy Grove and head for Adrift, since this landmark is in a fixed place. Pawntoon is harder to find as this ship sails around the island with its location changing every game. In case you are having trouble finding either one of these two locations, you can check out the visual aid and description below.

How to collect treasure using Drake's map in Fortnite

Want to know how to collect treasure using Drake's map in Fortnite? As part of a recent update to the popular battle royale game to celebrate the release of the Uncharted film, you can now find maps in chests that lead to valuable booty. This isn't a new mechanic, but the last time we saw the treasure map was at the beginning of Chapter 2 in 2019.

In addition to visiting Adrift or Pawntoon in a motorboat, there are plenty of other season challenges you should finish sooner rather than later as Chapter 3 Season 2 is just around the corner. For example, you can duel specific Fortnite NPCs or drive a Quadcrasher to Pinnacle Peak and here's where to find Spider-Man's bouncers in Fortnite.

For this pirate-themed challenge, if you need a reminder on using the treasure map, you can find the steps to find the buried chest below. Even after completing this challenge, it's worth taking a map when you find one if you have a slot spare. Opening the bonanza of goodies the map leads to will give you at least two legendary tier weapons and some recovery items to complete your loadout.

Elden Ring weapon arts guide: all weapon skills

Trying to find out what weapons arts do in Elden Ring? Most of the armaments in Elden Ring feature a unique weapon art - these function the same as skills in Dark Souls III. Weapon arts give players an additional action on their armament, which can range from performing a lunge attack, to summoning lightning from the sky to attack nearby enemies. The only armaments which don't typically have dedicated weapon arts are sacred seals, staves, and shields, though there are exceptions.

Though Dark Souls III players often pick weapons based on their weapon arts, even if that particular weapon doesn't suit their build. Elden Ring is much more flexible by comparison, giving players the option to customise their armament skill using Ashes of War. It's important to note that certain Ashes of War can only be used on specific types of equipment.

Picking the correct weapon art is vital to perfecting your build, giving you the upper hand against Elden Ring bosses. These skills can drastically affect how you approach enemies, and the weapon scaling can be altered to match your most used stat points. Here's everything you need to know about Elden Ring weapon arts, including how many there are, what they do, and more.

Elden Ring review – truly epic

Elden Ring makes a mockery of words like 'epic' and 'awesome'. Throughout its 'Soulsborne' games FromSoftware has revelled in scale: a marble city made for giants, a mountaintop colony of nesting dragons, vast valleys of poison, plague, and defilement, and castles that are almost parodically gothic. In going open world with Elden Ring (which you can buy here, coincidentally), FromSoftware has unlocked its final form, and the result - just like its bosses - will floor you time and time again.

Every new horizon is like a high fantasy painting. You'll find yourself staring out over a mist-shrouded lake that stretches as far as the eye can see. There's a glowing erdtree on the horizon, which you can ride to on your spectral steed, Torrent. Flanking the vista are two cliff faces, jutting up from the lake like supersized versions of the Giant's Causeway - on the right there's the Academy of Raya Lucaria, a scholarly ivory tower of sorcerers, and on the left there's a demolished medieval church. You can ride to those places, too.

Dozens of silhouettes break up the view, representing sunken villages, towns, and churches. Pan the camera a little and you'll spot ruins, sprawling forests, sky-scraping highways, and military encampments. The very best paintings make you wish you could step into them and burrow into each little pocket of detail, and Elden Ring sows that intrigue in every overlook, parapet, and rot-ridden plateau that composes the Lands Between.

Apex Legends patches fix Bloodhound challenges, tweak Arenas

With Apex Legends Season 12 now in full swing, Respawn Entertainment has pushed out a couple of new patches that look to fix some hiccups that have popped up since Defiance's arrival. Among a handful of bug fixes and other tweaks, the new updates make some changes to the battle royale game's pricing in Arenas and fix some Bloodhound skin challenge bugs.

Last week, Respawn posted a tweet acknowledging a bug with the Bloodhound prestige skin which meant the "damage counter resets in some cases". The devs said a fix was coming early this week, and noted that - in the meantime - they were "working on a make-good for lost progress". Now, the bugfix has come, with Respawn's patch addressing "Bloodhound's Prestige Skin challenges resetting". This should be a relief to those who have been trying to work their way through the higher tier challenges for the skin and then found their progress reset, making it a bit of an uphill battle.

Elsewhere, Respawn has fixed "certain Bloodhound stat trackers not working", as well as "enabling the leaver penalty for Control".

DnD RPG Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 hits PC for the first time this year

It's been a wild year for fans of the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance series, which are still some of the best co-op games around. Now it's been revealed that a Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 remaster is in the works for a release this year, bringing the final game from the studio behind Fallout and Planescape: Torment to PC at last.

In June last year, fans of DnD games on PC were treated to the revival of the Dark Alliance series of fantasy co-op games, albeit without the Baldur's Gate name. Sadly, the new Dark Alliance wasn't well-received, so it was a welcome surprise when a remaster of the original Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance from 2001 arrived on PC in December.

Now, just two months later, a remaster of the 2004 sequel Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 has been confirmed for a release this year. Like its predecessor, Dark Alliance 2 was a console-only game for PS2 and the original Xbox, so this is the first time it's available on PC.

This curved Samsung gaming monitor is $400 cheaper

A curved gaming monitor can do so much to enhance your favourite games, and give you a greater view of all the in-game action. Although such high performance usually comes at a price, GameStop is now offering a hefty $400 USD off the top-of-the-range Samsung Odyssey G9 curved gaming monitor.

The Samsung Odyssey G9 boasts a 49-inch, super ultra-wide 1000R curved screen. To put that into perspective, that's like putting two 16:9 QHD monitors side by side with no gap. Not only is it massive, but it also uses quantum dot technology and HDR 1000 support to provide realistic colour and contrast, helping you to more deeply appreciate the work of the game's visual artists.

Whether you're a fan of FPS games or RTS games, a curved gaming monitor can improve the experience for every type of gamer by providing a broader view of the action. With a 240Hz refresh rate, you can enjoy a smooth experience, not hindered by the lag or slow down you might experience with a less sophisticated model.

Nier: Automata is getting an anime

Square Enix has revealed that Nier: Automata is the next game to jump to television. Japanese anime and music production company Aniplex premiered the news on its YouTube channel before word reached official social media channels.

Aniplex revealed the new show in a short 30-second teaser that features a familiar track from the RPG's soundtrack, glitching text, and a sketch of 2B. Aside from confirming that the project is an anime that focuses on Nier: Automata specifically, details are thin on the ground. A website and Twitter account have been set up, though further details aren't currently available at the time of writing. Rumours of a Nier: Automata anime did began to swirl earlier this month when a Twitter user with a solid track record of revealing anime projects tweeted about it. Even then, the account did not provide more details past the project's existence.

Nier: Automata's release in 2017 has sparked a rejuvenation for the series. As of June 2021, the sombre RPG had sold six million copies. We've also seen the original Nier remastered, and a mobile spin-off game launch.

Elon Musk wants Tesla cars to be Steam-powered

Tesla's Model S already boasts a dashboard gaming PC experience, but the company is now trying to bring Valve's Steam storefront to its electric supercars. That's according to the company's CEO, Elon Musk, who disclosed the plans while being quizzed about a next-gen Tesla version of Cyberpunk 2077.

In his response to the simple question of "New Model S/X version of Cyberpunk when?" Musk states that the company is "building a case" for Steam compatibility versus specific game integration. The Tesla boss also highlights that he thinks adopting Valve's platform is a better long-term option.

It's worth noting that Tesla's infotainment system uses Linux, meaning if it does end up using SteamOS, it could benefit from Steam Deck compatibility efforts. Both the Model S and Valve's portable powerhouse also use an AMD RDNA2 chip under the hood, which could help speed up the process of getting graphics drivers to work with the supercar's innards.

It looks like a Dead By Daylight dating sim is in the works

It's already one of the best horror games on PC, but now it looks like Dead By Daylight could be getting its hooks into another genre too: the dating sim. According to a new trademark, developer Behaviour Interactive is working on a love sim spin-off called Hooked On You. Yes, really.

Apart from being one of the best multiplayer games around, Dead By Daylight is almost as well known as Fortnite for its great crossovers - such as Resident Evil or, more recently, Sadako from The Ring. However, we're not sure anyone expected Dead By Daylight to crossover into another genre entirely. Certainly not a dating sim, anyway, and not after Valentine's Day.

As spotted by TechRaptor, Behaviour has recently filed a trademark for a game with the non-ambiguous title of Hooked On You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim. To see for yourself, head here and search for the title under "Basic Word Mark Search (New User)". It was filed on February 16, 2022, and seems to be for an actual game.

     Grid Legends system requirements

The Grid Legends system requirements may surprise you with how forgiving they are, as now decade old Intel and AMD CPUs are more than enough to get you on to the starting grid. That said, the game will undoubtedly still tap into the greater available horsepower found in gaming PC hardware, like the best graphics cards from both AMD and Nvidia.

Codemasters has revealed that Grid Legends uses the EGO Engine 4.0, the same engine it uses to power its annual F1 videogames. This means it's possible we could see an implementation of ray traced reflections and shadows, as previously seen in F1 2021. Of course, you'll need a compatible GeForce RTX or Radeon RX GPU to enjoy these major graphical improvements.

Ray tracing tends to have a dramatic impact on performance, so we hope that Codemasters will also carry across support for Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR. These upscaling technologies are an easy way to boost fps, but your mileage may vary in pushing frame rates as high as your speedometer.

Total Warhammer 3's first performance fix should drop this week

While Total War: Warhammer 3 has enjoyed a successful launch, it has not been without its hiccups. The strategy game saw oodles of negative PC player reviews on release citing stability and performance issues on specific bits of hardware. Now, though, Creative Assembly has outlined what it's doing about that.

The developer shares on Steam's forums that it's working on the first of several hotfixes to address the "critical issues" raised by the community. The plan is to release these as "rapidly" as possible without compromising the current stability or performance of the game. The first hotfix is planned for this week, though the timing could change due to several factors out of Creative Assembly's control. The hotfix's focus is addressing several multiplayer lobby issues, DirectX problems that stem from players running DX12, and framerate improvements for players using modern Intel CPUs. The developer will reveal the entire patch contents closer to the time.

More broadly, Creative Assembly explains that the challenge with fixing Total War: Warhammer 3 is that "there is no single culprit for the variety of issues being reported".

How to check the Steam Deck compatibility of your Steam games

We're just two days away from the Steam Deck's release date, and excitement surrounding Valve's portable gaming PC has never been higher. However, many users remain uncertain as to how their Steam games will run on the Deck, if at all. Thankfully, Valve has finally deployed a means of checking the compatibility of your games ahead of launch.

You can visit the tool's website here, but you'll need your Steam login to hand in order to use it. It's worth noting that while Valve is making steady progress in checking every Steam game, it still has a long way to go, so it's worth looping back around to the site as new games get verified. Following the release of Proton 7, popular games like Monster Hunter Rise and Persona Golden 4 are finally playable on Deck.

You need to have a few details to hand in order to use the site, but we've put together a guide down below that you can follow.

The best fighting games on PC in 2022

When the Elden Ring system requirements landed on Steam with a dull, disappointing thud, I'd admit to some worry about FromSoftware's latest would perform on PC. If the minimum recommended graphics card is a GTX 1060, how hard will it be to travel the Lands Between on the highest quality settings? Or at 4K? Would this game kill PCs like it kills player characters?

Nope. As it turns out, Elden Ring will perfectly manageable on a range of hardware, and even if you do want to up the frame rate, there are over a dozen custom graphics options to help you get there. Below, you'll find guide to Elden Ring's best settings, based on my performance testing so far. But be warned: Just because it can run decently on PC, doesn't mean that this is a particularly good PC port.

For a moment, pretend you're an examiner marking FromSoftware games. Get that red biro ready. "Tried jumping, didn't work", you might pop by Dark Souls. "Nothing but grief here", you mark by Bloodborne. "Time for crab", you scribble across each one in a mad frenzy. You are so tired of the crabs. They aren't the most encouraging games, to say the least.

But Elden Ring is different. Yes, it's an action-RPG that retains Souls' difficulty, but it's one that expands their labyrinthine worlds with a single offering that's dizzying in its scope. Perhaps most importantly, it's a world that encourages you to explore and wants you to win, even if its way of showing it is with a massive rock troll that wants to cave your face in. What Elden Ring provides is an adventure unlike anything else or anyone else's. An unmissable jaunt through one of, if not the most impressive open world to date. "Visions of joy" sums it up nicely.

Cyberpunk 2077 was an infuriating mess in so many ways when I reviewed it at the end of 2020, but a funny thing would happen every time I'd stop playing it. All the T-posed NPCs, floataway physics bugs and crashes-to-desktop would be lost in time, like tears in rain. What remained was the deep appreciation I had for its story and characters, and a longing to revisit Night City.

So I have. After last week's patch 1.5 promised more fixes, a refreshed perk tree and improved AI, I wondered if I might finally be able to champion the first-person RPG without caveats. The answer is not a simple yes or no - but the list of caveats is definitely a lot shorter.

Back in 2012, the late great Antony Bourdain tweeted an impassioned defence of a fellow food writer, then 85 year old Marilyn Hagerty, whose recent positive review of her local Olive Garden had become the subject of widespread memery. I've never eaten at an Olive Garden because a.) we don't have them in the UK, and b.) unlimited pasta sounds like a death sentence. But I understand it's viewed as a faux-fancy chain for people who think Al Dente was the name of the man who invented spaghetti, and not somewhere you'd want to earnestly praise as a quote unquote 'serious critic'.

Big Tones was having none of it. He applauded Hagerty's celebration of Olive Garden as a genuine expression of widespread American food culture, calling her detractors 'snarkologists', and then published a book of her reviews. A class act, no doubt. And it's this championing of the everyman gourmand, this deep passion for non-exclusionary, unpretentious foodie culture, that powers Total War: Warhammer 3's most joyfully silly campaign experience.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes Game

Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These is getting its own game adaptation. Its official title is Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue Saga [Thanks, Dengeki.]

The Legend of Galactic Heroes setting itself is considered a Japanese sci-fi classic. First released in 1982 as a series of novels by Yoshiki Tanaka, LOGH is set in the far future. Humanity has spread throughout the galaxy. Two factions, the Galactic Empire and Free Planets Alliance, have been at war for the past 150 years, and millions have died in the struggle to rule over an interstellar human civilization. In the midst of the conflict, two pivotal figures emerge - the Imperial commander Reinhard von Lohengramm, and the Alliance officer Yang Wen-li. Their clashes and battles would change the history of the universe. The story was adapted into several animated works, including the titular 110-episode OVA series running from 1988 to 1997.

There's little to the newly opened official website, but the press release announcing the development has a bit more information about what potential players can expect. Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue Saga will be a strategy game for iOS and Android. It'll be free-to-play, and supported by in-app purchases, and features characters, locations, and warships from the LOGH fiction. They'll appear as they do in the 2018 Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These anime. The latest adaptation of the original story, Die Neue These carries a German subtitle that means "A New Thesis", referring to its status as a "reboot" with a different approach than the OVA series.

Players will take on the role of a space naval commander and take part in the galactic war that defines the LOGH setting. Their goal will be to unite the galaxy through conquest. The game is in development at Aiming, Inc. Aiming developed games like Caravan StoriesDragon Quest Tactand co-developed World of Demons alongside PlatinumGames.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue Saga is in development. The first two seasons of Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These can be viewed on Crunchyroll. A third season is in production and will air in 2022 in Japan. The original OVA series can be streamed on HIDIVE.

The Hololive En Council group has been around for six months, and cover is celebrating with new merchandise of the Vtubers.

There's new Hololive Vtuber merchandise on the way, and this time the stars are the Council members. Cover announced its Hololive Council Half-Year Celebration line. Pre-orders are open now, ahead of their late-July to late-August 2022 debut. The items will consist of acrylic stands of each Vtuber, a set of five pins with their mascots, and a towel with the mascot art. In the case of the mascots, Speaker of Space Sana Tsukomo drew the art.

Each of the acrylic stands features a Hololive Council member in her normal outfit. The base also has a design inspired by the character. These are ¥2,000/$17 each. As for the pin set and towel, those will cost ¥5,000/$41 each. They feature Boros, Friend, Mr. Squeaks, Nemu, and Yatagarasu.

The Hololive Council first appeared back in August 2021. The group consists of Baelz Hakos, Fauna Ceres, Kronii Ouro, Mumei Nanashi, and Sana Tsukomo. Each one is based on a certain concept. So, for example, Fauna is the Keeper of Nature and Kronii is the Warden of Time.

This is also the second recent major announcement for the group. Back in January 2022, the characters got their kimonos. However, no Hololive Council merchandise of the Vtubers in those outfits was released.

The Hololive En Council Half-Year Celebration merchandise can be pre-ordered until March 28, 2022. It is expected to ship between the end of July and end of August 2022.

Final Fantasy Locations Confirmed as Tracks for Chocobo GP

Some familiar Final Fantasy locations from FFV, FFVI, FFVII, and FFIX will be in Chocobo GP. A new trailer confirms major cities and places from those games will appear as courses in the game. Each one features certain hallmarks from the spaces recreated on the smaller scale.

Here's the full trailer looking at Final Fantasy locations in Chocobo GP. It kicks off with the FFVI town of Zozo, which is a very story-critical location in that game. After that it shows off the royal city of Alexandria from FFIX, which is Garnet's home. Big Bridge is the only place that isn't a "town" turned into a track. It is also where people would meet Gilgamesh. Finally, the video closes with a look at FFVII's Gold Saucer. That's essentially a huge amusement park and arcade in that game.

This comes after some of the initial Chocobo GP FFVII and FFVIII characters were confirmed. Both Cloud and Squall will appear alongside the first season pass. Cloud will need to be earned in Season Pass 1. Squall be sold in the in-game shop during that period.

Chocobo GP will appear on the Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 10, 2022. The Lite version of the game will appear that same day. There is also a free Chocobo GP' game for Android and Apple iOS devices.

Monster Hunter Rise DLC Characters Paz and Selva Will Be in Sunbreak

The latest Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak tease revealed that DLC characters Paz and Selva will appear in the expansion. Director Yoshitake Suzuki took to Twitter to reveal the add-on hunters will appear as part of the story. There is also new concept art of the two with the woman who appear in the TGA 2021 trailer.

Here's Suzuki's announcement. As a reminder, both Deputy Paz and Commander Selva are members of the Chevaliers. This is a group that will presumably play a large part in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak.

This marks four Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak new characters we know about. We already saw the regal woman in the TGA 2021 trailer. Paz and Selva DLC is out now for the main game. There will also be a new receptionist.

Monster Hunter Rise is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC, and the Paz and Selva characters' DLC is out now. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will release on both platforms in Summer 2022.

NieR Automata Anime

NieR: Automata has had a great many crossovers with other games since its release in 2017, but the latest boundary it's breaking is into another medium: Animation. Square Enix announced a NieR: Automata anime adaptation during the game's 5th Anniversary commemorative livestream event. Aniplex of America also shared the reveal, suggesting it will appear worldwide.

The event also revealed a brief teaser for the production.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Bh-3CUNH4s

The NieR: Automata anime teaser shows off little more than concept art of protagonist 2B and her Pod companion. Text flashes onscreen with lines like: "All beings were designed to perish," and "We're still trapped...in a repeating spiral of life and death."

The official site shows little more than the NieR: Automata anime teaser trailer, but promises more info soon. Information such as a broadcast window, the production staff roll or studio, and broadcast channels, is unavailable at this time.

Based on the description available on the site, the basic plot setup is identical to the game's. Like the game, the NieR: Automata anime is set in the distant future, where humanity has been driven from the Earth by the Machine Life Forms unleashed by an invading alien race. After taking refuge on the moon, Mankind sends its own armies of Androids forth in a war to reclaim the planet. YorHa No. 2 Type B, 2B, is a combat android in the YorHa forces that enters battle to recapture Earth.

The NieR: Automata anime is in production. The game it's based on is immediately available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, as is NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139..., a 2021 remaster of the original game in the NieR series. A mobile spinoff, NieR: Reincarnation, is available on Android and iOS.

Resident Evil HD Renders

The Resident Evil Portal has updated to include HD renders from classic Resident Evil games, like Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 0, and the Resident Evil Outbreak series. Additionally, the website states there will be another update on March 1, 2022. This will more than likely include more new renders and concept art from previously released Resident Evil titles. In order to access this content users will need to have a Capcom ID.

On February 14, 2022 the Resident Evil Portal Twitter account teased that the website would be updating. Shortly after, the website updated to include HD renders from Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2. Through subsequent updates, more renders and pieces of concept art have been shared through the website. The images are available to view through the Japanese and English versions of the Resident Evil Portal.

However, on Twitter, some users have noticed that certain textures for Resident Evil Outbreak have been updated. That said, Capcom has not mentioned an official HD remaster of the Resident Evil Outbreak series.

In January 2022, Capcom revealed that Resident Evil Village would receive DLC. The DLC was originally announced in June 2021 and is planned for a 2022 release. However, while the DLC content was announced, further information regarding it has yet to be disclosed.

Megaton Musashi

Level-5's super robot action RPG Megaton Musashi will receive a crossover with a couple of mecha classics: Mazinger Z and Getter Robo. A tweet on the official account promised more details on the Megaton Musashi crossover event in the future. However, a brief teaser for the collaboration was shown during Level-5's Megaton Lab livestream event.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qdD_LoFqY8&t

The clip shows off Musashi, one of the main Megaton Musashi Rogues (playable mecha). Musashi steps forward, but as lightning flashes, it's replaced by the silhouette of the Getter-1 Robo, then by Mazinger Z. Mazinger Z and Getter Robo come from manga artist Go Nagai (creator of Devilman and Cutie Honey). Both series were considered groundbreaking for the mecha genre. Getter Robo featured one of the first super robot designs to be assembled from multiple other machines, while Mazinger Z's titular robot was one of the first to be piloted from the inside.

Megaton Musashi released in November 2021 in Japan, alongside an anime series. It takes place in a future where an alien invasion has wiped out 90% of the human population. The survivors were herded into a shelter, and their memories of the catastrophe were erased. A trio of young people are later chosen to pilot the "Megaton-class" Rogues, a group of super robots that stand about 200 feet tall. Constructed of Megatronium Alloy, the Rogues are mankind's last-ditch resistance against its oppressors. Players control and customize Rogues to defeat their enemies. The game balances 3D combat with Rogue customization and story-driven exploration. Players can use parts won in combat to upgrade and create new components for the Rogues, which are reflected in their appearances. Players can also cooperate in Megaton Musashi multiplayer to defeat large enemies.

Megaton Musashi is available on the Switch and PS4 in Japan. The first season of the anime series is viewable in Japanese on YouTube. Localization plans for the franchise have not yet been announced.

Vanguard Patch Balancing And Bug FixesCall of Duty: Vanguard Season Two was delayed to improve the state of the game. It is promising to see that these improvements are continuing to be made after the debut of the new season. The latest Vanguard patch focuses on weapon and kill streak balancing, while fixing bugs. Vanguard's newest update introduces some balancing adjustments. The first is to the MP-40 submachine gun, which now has a decreased damage range. Also, adjustments have been made to kill streaks such as the Spy Plane and Counter Spy Plane to enter and exit the map faster, all the while making them easier to take down. The Bombing Run now has a better flight path to avoid damaging you if you called it in, while the damage and damage range of the bombs have been reduced. For clarity, Attack Dogs have an extra audio cue to let you know the position of a nearby dog.   The rest of the Vanguard patch focuses on bug fixes. To the Welgun, an issue has been fixed that would not allow you to progress towards ...

Elden Ring Review PcElden Ring is almost upon us. Made by FromSoftware, Souls series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, and Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin, it offers an action-packed adventure set in an open-world environment that's both wonderful and gruesome to behold. My experience, as I'll detail in our Elden Ring review, is based on a 60-hour playthrough. However, this was only for the single-player component. I wasn't able to try out the multiplayer aspect due to level differences and mismatched schedules.   The Lands Between this and that Elden Ring sticks to a tried and tested concept of which Souls, Soulsborne, and Souls-like fans are familiar — that of cryptic and weirdly vague plotlines. The exposition will give you a headache, as characters and tooltips start informing you of the "War of Kerfuffle" for the "Erdthing Graceland." So, let's keep it simple. You play as a Tarnished, a nameless blank slate who could, one day, become lord of...
