     Diablo Immortal tier list

Searching for a Diablo Immortal tier list? There's nothing worse in an RPG game than investing countless hours into leveling your character only to discover they don't suit your play style. With six Diablo Immortal classes to pick from and only five character slots per server at launch, hardcore players are going to have to make a tough decision sooner or later.

We've taken a close look at every class to determine their place on the Diablo Immortal tier list. There are classes that specialise in crowd control, but perform badly against bosses, and then there's other aspects like PvP and Challenge Rifts to factor in. It's important to note that Diablo Immortal is frequently updated, so it's entirely possible that the worst class on our list could soon become the best after a balance patch.

In the future, players will have the option to change their class on the fly using the Class Change mechanic, first revealed on a Diablo Immortal blog post. Until then, you're going to have to settle with the characters you create.

Fable 4 rumors of 'downscaling' canned by RPG game producer

In the absence of any new information about the next entry in the beloved British RPG game series, Fable 4 rumours continue to persist, and the latest involves accusations of the project 'downscaling'. However, the new Fable game's producer is fighting back against this, calling the process "normal, necessary and healthy."

While there have been previous rumours about Playground Games having to deal with a lack of experience in the genre, given it's mostly known for the Forza Horizon series, the latest speculation comes from Xbox News Cast - where co-host Gaz stated they had "a source" that claims "Fable had to be scaled down because the team had trouble with the engine."

Gaz also states this was "nothing to worry about" but several Reddit threads and articles picked up on it. Now, Fable senior producer Amie Loake took to Twitter to dispel fears about this rumour and the idea of the project down scoping - calling it "a normal, necessary and healthy part of game development" and saying that "every single triple-A game you've ever played" has undergone something similar.

Overwatch 2 tier list June 2022: top meta picks for every role

If you're looking for an Overwatch 2 tier list to help you gain a competitive edge in the multiplayer game's beta, then we've got you covered. With 33 heroes to pick from across three Overwatch 2 roles, starting out in Blizzard's FPS game can be pretty daunting, and it's not always easy to tell how strong your chosen character is when you're constantly coming up against different counters and team comps.

First off, some housekeeping. Our Overwatch 2 tier list isn't divided up into specific roles, but we will have a hero from each role represented in every bracket. S tier is the highest category, it represents heroes who are at the pinnacle of Overwatch 2's meta and don't require specific team comps or strategies to dominate with. A tier picks aren't necessarily worse than their S tier counterparts, but they're generally harder to use and get the best out of. B, C, and D tier follow suit, representing the lower echelons of Overwatch's roster.

Of course, just because we say a hero is a must-pick, it doesn't mean you can't do a better job with your preferred main character, but most players should be able to look at this tier list for a quick snapshot of who to play and why. Join us we rank every hero in the game, from the titanic tanks to squishy supports.

Secretlab releases memory foam armrests for its gaming chairs

The Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 series has long been our personal pick for the best gaming chairs you can park your posterior on, with great lumbar support that'll always have your back. However, these seats will soon become even more comfortable and supportive thanks to an upcoming accessory.

You'll soon be able to equip your Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 gaming chair with 'PlushCell' memory foam armrests, giving you an added layer of comfort on top of the already luxurious seating experience.      Genshin Impact tier list June 2022: the best characters in 2.7

Looking for a Genshin Impact tier list? There are currently 49 Genshin Impact characters available, so there's no shortage of candidates for your dream team. But with so many different weapon, elementals, talents, ascension bonuses, and constellations upgrades, finding your favourites can be challenging.

Don't let the placement of the characters on our Genshin Impact tier list deter you from pulling on the next character banner. While base stats and elemental abilities are important, the value of a character also depends on personal playstyle, available weapons and artifacts, and team composition. That being said, if your favourite character is in C tier or below, you may struggle to get past some of the more challenging Spiral Abyss floors. Don't worry too much if your favourite character is on one of the lower tiers; you can still make it work with our recommended Genshin Impact builds.

In general, being on a high tier means that the character is the best Genshin Impact character in their role, is not too difficult to build, and performs well regardless of teammates. Being on a lower tier means that there are better alternatives, or the character needs a very specific build or team to shine. Just to note, the characters are not ranked within their own tier, and with that out of the way, let's take a look at our ranking of characters in our Genshin Impact tier list!

Genshin Impact 2.8 release date, banners, and rumours

Want to know when the Genshin Impact 2.8 release date is? Despite the 2.7 update delay that pushed back Hoyoverse's usual six week cycle, the studio has already announced the release date for the next 2.8 update, well in advance of when we would usually find out.

This is still subject to change, of course. For now at least, rest assured that the Genshin Impact 2.8 release date has been announced, although there's still plenty more we don't know. Current rumours suggest we'll get a new Genshin Impact character, but there will also be new Genshin Impact events to work through as well.

Despite the fact that Genshin Impact 2.7 has only recently been released, there are still plenty of rumours circulating for us to compile into one place. From events, to banners, and whatever else we've managed to discover, here's everything we know about Genshin Impact 2.8, including the release date.

Tekken 7 sales pass 9 million, now the best selling Tekken game

Tekken continues to go from strength to strength, with its publisher Bandai Namco announcing that Tekken 7 sales have passed nine million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling Tekken game of all time. This surpasses Tekken 3's 8.5 million sales and Tekken 5's 8.2 million, meaning that the latest entry in the fighting game series is now its most successful.

This new milestone means that Tekken 7 has sold an additional three million copies since September 2020 when game director Katsuhiro Harada announced that Tekken 7 sales had passed the six million mark. The series as a whole has now sold over 53 million copies. Passing the beloved classic Tekken 3 in sales numbers is no mean feat, and is a much-deserved success for what is one of the best games in the long-running series.

Bandai Namco announced at the Combo Breaker 2022 tournament that the Tekken World Tour 2022 will see the fighting game return to in-person competition, with five 'master events' beginning at the upcoming CEO 2022 event on June 24.

     Blizzard built Diablo Immortal PC

The Diablo Immortal release time is imminent, the first new Diablo game to release in ten years - but it wasn't always going to be the case, as the Diablo Immortal PC release is a recent announcement. However, according to a new interview with Blizzard, the PC version was actually built first "to make it for mobile".

The Diablo mobile game was announced all the way back in 2015 to a less than enthusiastic response, mostly because everyone was waiting on the reveal of Diablo IV. With the Diablo Immortal release date on June 2 so close we can touch it, excitement is far higher - especially thanks to the same-time release of a Diablo Immortal PC beta too.

While the PC release wasn't initially on the cards, a new interview at Wowhead with Diablo franchise head Rod Fergusson reveals that the PC version always existed. "The mission of Diablo Immortal was to bring the Diablo experience to mobile," Fergusson explains but admits "we built it on PC in order to make it for mobile."

Destiny 2 weekly reset time, changes, and schedule

A fresh Destiny 2 weekly reset is upon us. As a premier live service game, one of the main ways that Bungie keeps players coming back to Destiny 2 is with its weekly resets. These typically offer a content refresh across the space game's various planets, raids, and dungeons, along with minor bug fixes and changes to address outstanding player concerns. The reset often includes new seasonal mission content or updates to existing in-game activities for players who own the seasonal content. And, with ongoing weekly updates to the Nightfall, the Crucible playlist, campaign missions, in-game activities and bounties, there's more to track than ever.

The Destiny 2 weekly reset takes place every Tuesday at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT/ 6pm BST / 7pm CEST. There's often some server downtime around the reset time, so you should take note of that if you're unable to log into the game at precisely that time. Once the reset begins, you'll have a full week to explore all the changes before Bungie rolls out another set of changes on the same day and time the following week.

Here, we're offering Destiny 2 players a recap of all the weekly reset changes so you know what shiny new activities to prioritise while grinding for loot.

Razer Barracuda Pro review – premium sound, middling microphone

The Razer Barracuda Pro is the company's latest wireless gaming headset, acting as the flagship for its newly refresh line-up of cordless cans. Priced at $250 USD, Razer is betting big on its active noise-cancelling technology and new TriForce Bio-ceullulose 50mm drivers to deliver an experience worthy of its premium price tag. Thankfully, it's mostly succeeded in doing just that, but not without some notable shortcomings.

When I first laid eyes on the Razer Barracuda Pro, I sighed with relief at the lack of RGB and other aesthetic features typically associated with gaming headsets (which have no business being anywhere outside a gaming PC setup). Razer has adopted a more subtle design language here compared to its other devices, with logos that blend into the black headband and earpieces. Look closely, however, and you'll find a cheeky splash of trademark neon green surrounding the microphone's mute toggle.

The shape of these new cans most closely resembles the company's Razer Opus headphones, which were themselves clearly inspired by the Sony WH-1000XM3. While I haven't had chance to sit down with the Opus, I use a pair of 1000XM3s as my daily drivers and think Razer has done a great job of emulating the style and best parts of its rival.

Has anyone coined the term Limbolike yet? 2D side-scrolling platformers that are a bit Tim Burton-y, and possibly in monochrome. Y'know the ones? Silt is a Limbolike, only it's Limbo under the sea. Alice in SINoALICE by Yoko Taro

The latest Weekly Famitsu issue included special coverage about the Japanese fifth anniversary of SINoALICE. It included a new interview with SINoALICE director Yoko Taro. The title creator claimed that this mobile game would not end in a regular way. [Thanks, Ryokutya!]

Here are some of the highlighted quotes from Yoko Taro in the new Japanese interview:

  • "There has been a continued scam about ending things, but there may be many users who get that impression since we are entering the Creator Arc."
  • "I have been saying that it would end, but the plan is that SINoALICE will not end in a regular way."
  • "Please watch our final valiant figure when we have burned out and become destitute."

Yoko Taro created SINoALICE, a mobile RPG that launched first in Japan on June 6, 2017. The global release came out roughly three years later, in July 2020. Square Enix celebrates the game's fifth anniversary in June 2022. SINoALICE has received a lot of crossover content from not only Yoko Taro's famed NieR series but also other anime franchises, such as Rozen MaidenCode Geass, and Kakegurui XX.

Famitsu also had a SINoALICE coverage for the game's fourth anniversary in June 2021. At that time, Yoko Taro talked about the additional story featuring Devola and Popola from NieR Replicant.

SINoALICE is available worldwide on Android and iOS mobile devices.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trailer Shows More New Pokemon

Nintendo promised a new Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet trailer on June 1, 2022, and it came through to show off new Pokemon and reveal a release date. The game will arrive on November 18, 2022. The video offered a better look at the new regions and elements folks can expect.

The video begins with the player's avatar leaving home. After that, we meet Professor Sada and Professor Turo, the two professors we'll aid this time around. From there, the new Pokemon acting as starters are shown in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for the first time. There's also a fight against a person named Nemona and a new electric-type Pokemon named Pawmi. The player catches a new grass-type named Smoliv at the 1:12 mark. We also can see trainer customization options, as well as a glimpse at its up to four player cooperative multiplayer. Lechonk, a new Pokemon that looks like a pig, shows up around the 1:20 mark.

Here's the full Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet trailer, with the release date appearing at the end.

More details were confirmed via tweets. This will be an open-world game where you can visit areas in any order. Pokemon Scarlet's legendary is Koraidon, while Violet's is Miraidon.

As a reminder, the initial reveal focused on showing what the playable character and new starter Pokemon would look like in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. For example, your avatar's outfit color scheme will vary depending on the version you choose. People will also be able to choose the fire-type Fuecoco, water-type Quaxly, or grass-type Sprigatito. Some returning characters also showed up in the reveal trailer. For example, Larvitar, Magnemite, Pikachu, Stonjourner, and Swablu all live there.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will launch on November 18, 2022 for Nintendo Switch. The last Pokemon release was Pokemon Legends: Arceus for the Nintendo Switch.

The action RPG based on Akihito Tsukushi's Made in Abyss series has a release date. The English-language edition of Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness arrives on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 2, 2022. The release date is for North America and Europe, as the game hit shelves in Japan back in 2021. Spike Chunsoft announced the game's release window back in April 2022.

Alongside the announcement of Made in Abyss Binary Star's release date, Spike Chunsoft released some character art for the game's protagonists, as well as a few more details about the game's two playable modes.

Check out renders of Riko, Reg, Tiare, Dorothea, Raul, and the custom character for the "Deep in Abyss" mode, which is the original story included in Made in Abyss Binary Star upon its release date.

Binary Star Falling into Darkness will be the first video game adaptation of the series. Its first mode, "Hello Abyss," is a recreation of the original story as laid out in the anime series. It begins in the same place as the anime, with Riko and Reg's first meeting. The second, all-original mode, "Deep in Abyss," stars the customizable player character, an unnamed Cave Raider. It opens many days after Riko and Reg depart on their journey to the Abyss. It'll feature interactions with the story characters, and their voice casts will return to reprise their roles.

Upon its release date, Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness will also have a physical collector's edition for players to purchase on PS4 and Switch. The collector's edition includes a Cave-Raiding Notebook that contains pictures and information about primeval creatures, Relics, Whistles, and other features of the Abyss. It'll include space for players to put their own notes in. A 24"x36" cloth poster also shows off art from Kinema Citrus, the studio that produced the anime series.

Air Twister

YS Net, the indie studio founded by Shenmue creator and former Sega luminary Yu Suzuki, has announced its first game. That game is Air Twister, a new original title that bears a strong resemblance to Space Harrier, one of Suzuki's best-regarded works. It releases for iOS devices via Apple Arcade on June 24, 2022.

Check out the first trailer for Air Twister below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-0RSl_UGv0

Air Twister is billed as an "all-new fantasy endless shooter" and stars Princess Arch. After her planet is attacked by mysterious alien invaders, Arch takes up her crossbow to fight off the bizarre foes astride her giant swan. The shots of Air Twister gameplay shown are strongly reminiscent of Space Harrier. Players control Princess Arch, shifting her around the screen as enemies cross over their path. She fires pink homing missiles at enemies, which can be locked on to. The game will have over twenty different enemies, ten massive bosses, and twelves stages. Further game modes can be unlocked by collecting Stars from the stages. The game uses touch controls but is gamepad-compatible. Online score-ranking is also supported. The trailer is set to the song "Aglaea" by the artist Valensia.

Air Twister will release on Apple Arcade for iOS devices on June 24, 2022. Hironobu Sakaguchi, another prominent Japanese game developer, also released Fantasian for Apple Arcade in 2021.

Halo StudioHalo Infinite was a polished and well-received game at launch, but has since been under fire from fans. Studio 343 Industries positioned Halo Infinite as a live-service game, but the lack of new, compelling content since launch has not lived up to that description for many players. It's been a bumpy road for 343, as every Halo game under its wing has come under some form of criticism from the Halo faithful. Letting one of these teams take a crack at a new Halo spin-off could allow 343 time to regroup and improve Halo Infinite while giving fans a fresh take on the series to boot. Halo spin-offs like Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Spart...
