     Mortal Kombat 1 characters

Want to know which Mortal Kombat 1 characters are on the roster? NetherRealm Studios is once again rebooting the timeline, only this time, we have Liu Kang as the Fire God guiding the mortals of EarthRealm instead of the Thunder God Raiden, as history repeats itself once more. However, instead of being a traditional fighter, Mortal Kombat 1 introduces assist characters called Kameos, who you can call to help get out of sticky situations.

So far, we've seen fighters we'd expect as Mortal Kombat 1 characters, and no new challengers have yet been introduced to the new timeline yet. That said, even some of the fighting game's classic characters have had tweaks to their origin story, with Scorpion seemingly alive and Kitana genuinely caring for her sister Mileena. With the Mortal Kombat 1 release date coming relatively soon, we're listing all of the fighters that have been confirmed so far.

After the Starfield Direct, the excitement for the Starfield release date has almost reached fever-pitch, and rightly so.      How long is Diablo 4? Length and time to beat

How long is Diablo 4? Blizzard's acclaimed ARPG is returning, although this latest iteration offers a new sense of freedom with an open-world format. Consequently, you may be wondering exactly how long it'll actually take to battle your way across Sanctuary and take on Lilith. Thankfully, we've got all the answers on how long it's going to take you, from the campaign to the endgame.

Diablo 4 quest list – all main and side missions

How many quests are in Diablo 4? The list of Diablo 4 quests is long. Very long, in fact. With close to 150 of them scattered around the open world of Sanctuary before you even take the second leg of the campaign into account, you'll be listening to a whole lot of distraught, disgruntled, and downtrodden NPCs thrust their worries onto your blades. And while the rewards can sometimes culminate into weapons no better than your own, the experience points are typically worth the rather relaxed objectives. So sharpen those blades and follow along.

If you're getting stuck into the game's full launch, you might want to check out our primer on the Diablo 4 length - just so you know what you're getting into. Reaching the Diablo 4 max level cap isn't a quick affair, so it won't hurt to know how to budget your playtime effectively to reach the exciting Diablo 4 endgame in record time and start taking on those terrifying world bosses. We got a proper look at Starfield (which my brain autocorrects to "Garfield" every single time I read it) on Sunday thanks to a dedicated 45 minute long presentation that showcased the game's various systems, planets and characters in granular detail. 45 minutes is a long time to devote to one video game, you could argue. Todd Howard wasn't even wearing a leather jacket, which sort of felt like seeing Scooby Doo without his dog collar. Like, I'd still know it's Scooby Doo, but it wouldn't look right, you know?

Anyway, all this is to say that the presentation was long. If you're still interested in finding out what was revealed but don't have the time to watch it, however, then good news! Here's the full Final Fantasy XVI Dion and Bahamut video. It begins by showing him channeling the Eikon. After that, we see the character's official art and voice actor. Following that, segments from cutscenes appear showing the prince in his human form, as well as in his Bahamut one again.

Yuichi Nakamura plays Dion in FInal Fantasy XVI. He's appeared in multiple Square Enix games, as he also played Cid in Final Fantasy XIII< Cid in Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy, Canophus in Tactics Ogre: Reborn, Roland in Triangle Strategy, and Trey in Final Fantasy Type-0. In English he's voiced by Stewart Clarke, who played Ethan in Horizon Forbidden West and multiple characters in Valkyrie Elysium.

Shadow Wolf Mount Arrives in Final Fantasy XIV

When Square Enix discussed the 6.4 update for Final Fantasy XIV, it also noted new mounts would appear. Now one of them is available. Players who head to the Mog Station store can pick up a new account-wide one. The Shadow Wolf mount is now live in Final Fantasy XIV.

As long as you reached the point in the game where you can get and summon a Chocobo mount, you can use it. The animations for it will look different depending on whether you are riding it on the ground or while flying through the air.

For example, here is how the mount looks when someone is flying while on its back.

There's also a video which shows how it looks in-action. It begins by showing the Shadow Wolf running through Final Fantasy XIV. then, it pauses for a bit so someone can see it from different angles. After that, it shows the flying animations. It closes things out by showing characters from different races riding one, so people can get a better sense of scale.

Honkai Star Rail Qingque Relics Light Cones Build

Qingque in Honkai: Star Rail has a fairly unique play style that can be divisive. Unlike most other characters in the game, her kit requires luck in order for players to maximize her damage potential. However, with the right Light Cones and Relics, as well as strategic usage of her Technique and Skill, Qingque can be a very rewarding character to use.

As mentioned earlier, there's an element of luck in Qingque's kit due to her jade tile mechanic. Every turn, she gains a tile. When she gets four of a kind, how much damage she deals with her Basic ATK increases. Her Basic ATK also becomes AoE, and will not recover any Skill Points. Her Technique lets her draw two more Tiles when battle starts, and her Skill lets her draw more. Whether you get four matching tiles or not using these methods depends on your luck. However, after using her Ultimate, she will get four matching tiles the next turn.

[caption id="attachment_967927" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Honkai Star Rail Qingque Light Cones Image by Siliconera[/caption]

Here are the best Light Cones to use on Qingque in Honkai: Star Rail:

  • Before Dawn
Jing Yuan's signature Light Cone has a fantastic passive ability that increases the wearer's Crit DMG, Skill DMG, and Ultimate DMG. Qingque doesn't have any follow-up attacks, but she can definitely make use of an overall DMG increases. It's a 5-star Light Cone, which means it has great stats as well. Unfortunately, its limited availability can make it hard for some players to get.
  • Today is Another Peaceful Day
Since this Light Cone features Qingque, it's easy to imagine that this is the best one for her right now. It increases how much DMG she deals based on her Max Energy. Qingque's Max Energy is 140, which is currently one of the highest in the game. So she is actually the best character to make use of this Light Cone.
  • Make the World Clamor
This Light Cone regenerates Energy for Qingque at the start of battle, as well as increases how much DMG her Ultimate deals. Qingque's Ultimate is really good in allowing her to quickly assemble four matching tiles so you'll want to use it pretty often, especially if you're not particularly lucky.
  • Geniuses' Repose/The Seriousness of Breakfast
Both of these Light Cones activate when you defeat an enemy. Geniuses' Repose increases the wearer's Crit DMG and The Seriousness of Breakfast increases their ATK. Which one you use depends on what you put on other characters, as well as how your Qingque's stats look with her Relics.

[caption id="attachment_967928" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Honkai Star Rail Qingque Relics Builds Image by Siliconera[/caption]

Here are the best Relics to give Qingque in Honkai: Star Rail:

As a side note, every DPS or sub-DPS character can use Space Sealing Station or Musketeer of Wild Wheat. They increase the wearer's ATK and SPD, which makes them very generically useful if you don't have good Relics in other sets. When choosing Relics for Qingque, prioritize her SPD, Crit stats, and ATK. She will basically have to be your DPS because she can hog so many of your Skill Points, so build her with that in mind.

  • Genius of Brilliant Stars
This is the best Relic Set you can give Qingque because it increases how much Quantum DMG she does, as well as ignores DEF when she hits an enemy. This helps her deal a lot of DMG even when she's not in Cherry on Top mode.
  • Thief of Shooting Meteor
This is not as good for Qingque as Genius of Brilliant Stars. But she can still make good use of it because she's a Quantum character. Thief of Shooting Meteor increases Break Effect, and the 4-pc can regenerate Energy when she inflicts Weakness Break.
  • Celestial Differentiator
Celestial Differentiator increases the wearer's Crit DMG. When the wearer's Crit DMG is over 120%, it can increase their Crit Rate by 60% until the end of their first attack. Since Qingque's Crit stats are absolutely necessary to make her a viable DPS, this is a fantastic Planar Ornament Set for her.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on mobile devices and Windows PC. A PS5 version is in development. A copy of Qingque is available for free, and she is a permanent fixture in the gacha as a 4-star unit.

Himeko Honkai Star Rail Relics Light Cones

Himeko is one of the standard 5-star characters in Honkai: Star Rail, who can provide lots of extra damage for your party through her follow-up attacks. She is a fantastic AoE DPS or sub-DPS as well with her Ultimate. When choosing Light Cones and Relics for Himeko, you should prioritize ones that will increase her overall follow-up at tack and Ultimate damage potential.

To start with, let's give a very quick rundown of Himeko's kit. There's nothing really special to say about her Normal Attack or Skill. Her Talent, Victory Rush, gets stacks every time you Break an enemy. At three stacks, it will deal a follow-up attack equal to a percentage of her ATK. Heavenly Flare, her Ultimate, deals AoE Fire DMG and recovers her Energy afterwards. Some of her Traces also increase the DMG she deals against enemies inflicted with Burn, which is an effect she can cause fairly easily between her Ultimate and her Talent.

[caption id="attachment_967895" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Himeko Honkai Star Rail Light Cones Image by Siliconera[/caption]

Here are the best Light Cones to put on Himeko in Honkai: Star Rail:

  • Before Dawn
Jing Yuan's signature Light Cone is a fantastic Erudition Light Cone in general. It can greatly increase Crit DMG and follow-up attack DMG through its passive. As a 5-star Light Cone, it offers a huge boost to Himeko's stats, too. Unfortunately, not only is it a 5-star, but it's a limited one at that. Its lack of ready availability can make it hard to recommend.
  • Night on the Milky Way
This is Himeko's signature Light Cone and it increases her ATK for every enemy on the field. It also increases how much DMG she deals with a Weakness Break. Since it's a 5-star Light Cone, you can also just use it for its high stats rather than its passive ability. If you care about abilities, though, some of the later Light Cones on this list are far more useful.
  • Make the World Clamor
This Light Cone increases Himeko's Ultimate DMG, as well as lets her regenerate Energy immediately. Because so much of Himeko's usage as an AoE DPS comes from her Ultimate, this is a really good one for her to have. It's also fairly generic, which means it can be useful in both farming and boss fight situations.
  • Geniuses' Repose/The Seriousness of Breakfast
Both of these Light Cones activate whenever Himeko defeats an enemy. Geniuses' Repose increases her Crit DMG whereas The Seriousness of Breakfast increases her ATK. Which one you use depends on your current stats for Himeko, your other characters, and your Relics. Since they activate their effects depending on whether you defeat an enemy or not, they're best for farming.
  • The Birth of the Self
If you want to use Himeko in situations other than just farming, The Birth of the Self is a good Light Cone to use. This increases the DMG of her follow-up attack, as well as deals more DMG when the enemy is under 50% health. Because it does not require Himeko to defeat an enemy first, this makes it a good Light Cone for situations such as boss fights.

[caption id="attachment_967900" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Himeko Honkai Star Rail Relics Image by Siliconera[/caption]

Here are the best Relics to put on Himeko in Honkai: Star Rail:

When choosing Relics for Himeko, you should prioritize her Fire DMG, SPD, and Crit stats. As per usual with a DPS or sub-DPS character, Musketeer of Wild Wheat and Space Sealing Station are good until you get more specialized Relics for her.

  • Firesmith of Lava-Forging
The 2-pc set increases Fire DMG by 10%, and the 4-pc set increases Skill DMG by 12%. The full set also increases the Fire DMG by 12% after an Ultimate. If you're having difficulty getting a full set, you can combine the 2-pc Firesmith with 2-pc Musketeer.
  • Inert Salsotto
Inert Salsotto is an amazing set for Himeko for its 2-pc effect. It increases her Crit Rate by 8% and once her Crit Rate is 50% or higher, it increases her Ultimate and follow-up atack DMG by 15%. Himeko's Ultimate and follow-up attack are her bread and butter as your DPS, so you want to make sure she can unleash as much pain as possible with them.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the Windows PC and mobile devices. A PS5 version is in development. Himeko is a permanent 5-star character you can pull from the gacha pool.
