     Demonfall codes July 2024

Are there Demonfall codes? There is no shortage of anime games on Roblox, but Demonfall looks to fully embrace its Demon Slayer inspirations by letting you fight for survival in the name of humanity or to become a demon with unholy powers. No matter which way, keeping up to date on the availability of codes that may offer important boosts in the game is essential.

Like those for other anime titles on Roblox, such as  Attack on Titan Revolution codes or Haze Piece codes, Demonfall can have codes redeemed in this game for bonuses. Those in the past for example have been used like extra items which gave players an edge in battle. So, let's get into whether there are currently any Demonfall codes available.

New survival game Once Human shoots up Steam charts despite reviews

If there were a game that sums up having a mixed launch, it would be Once Human. On one hand you have a player count that's shooting ever upwards, with every refresh of the number showing a new high. On the other, you have its Steam reviews which are continuing to drop, heading nowhere positive. This really is the epitome of having both bad and good news all at once, a true mixed bag for the game.

Valve's abandoned card game suddenly experiences a surge in players

Here's a news story I didn't expect to be writing today, or to be honest - any day. Artifact appears to be back.      Diablo 4 competitor Last Epoch is surging after massive update

Over the last decade or so, smaller studios have often been able to create takes on styles of games originated by bigger, better funded teams. We've seen Stardew Valley take over where Harvest Moon left off, Palworld introducing fresh ideas to the Pokemon formula, and Shovel Knight, Celeste, and Hollow Knight compete with Metroid and Mario. This is also true with the action RPG formula established by Diablo, with even Blizzard's own Diablo 4 facing stiff competition from the likes of Path of Exile and, most recently, Last Epoch. As its player count shows, the latter game continues to find a huge audience, its numbers of active players surging now that its latest update has launched.

genshin impact fragrant fantasy

The new web event for Genshin Impact, Fragrant Fantasy, is now live on the HoYoVerse website. You can access it from here.

As you may imagine, the web event focuses on Emilie, who will be a new playable character in the game. The web event lets you create your own perfumes by combining different flowers and scents. You can collect more cards when you complete daily quests. Once you finish making your perfume, you can gift it to either Navia, Sigewinne, or Furina. You can also color in your own perfume box, though it doesn't seem to affect anything. Prizes you can get include Primogems, Mora, and experience books.

Emilie is an upcoming 5-star Dendro Polearm character who hails from Fontaine. In lore, she is a self-employed perfumer whose work is popular among the more fashionable ladies in Fontaine. So far, there is no official information on her kit, so it's unknown what kind of niche she'll fill in your party.

Aside from Emilie appearing as a new playable character, Version 4.8 will also introduce new summer skins for Nilou and Kirara. You'll need to pay real money for Nilou's skin whereas Kirara's will be for free through the event. As well, 4.8 will introduce the new region Simulanka, which will, like the Golden Apple Archipelago, only be available for a limited time.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Version 4.8 of Genshin Impact, which is when Emilie will make her playable debut, will come out on July 17, 2024.

new cho aniki

A new Cho Aniki project is in development, with more information on it coming soon. You can keep up with updates by following the official social media account for the series.

There's virtually no information on the new Cho Aniki game on the website. It shows two identical characters locked up behind bars, with the words "A new project coming son" at the bottom of the screen. As the URL of the website is "Cho Aniki Collection," that's likely the name of the game. It's unknown if it'll be a compilation of the previous games in the series (albeit remastered), or if it will be an entirely new game altogether.

Cho Aniki is a series of baka-ge, which literally means "idiot game" and usually refers to very silly games with over-the-top humor. The games tend to be side-scrolling shoot 'em ups and the first one came out in 1995 for the PC. The most recent game came out in 2021 for mobile devices. It is a rhythm game and is exclusive to Japan. Most of the more recent titles are all mobile titles.

A new Cho Aniki project is in the works, with more information on it to appear in the future.

As for the Records of Eminence, there are new and updated objectives. Completing them will get people +2 job-specific earrings.

Both the Celestial Nights and login campaign in the FFXI July 2024 version update mean opportunities to earn new items. The actual reward for helping "Prince Yahiko" and "Princess Amdina" wasn't revealed yet. However, the Login Campaign rewards were all revealed, and the highlighted reward was a 500 point Kupon A-AHM. Hideki Kamiya Talked to Ikumi Nakamura About Why He Blocks People

In a recent video interview with Unseen's Ikumi Nakamura, game developer Hideki Kamiya talked about his reasons for blocking people on X (formerly Twitter). An active social media user, Kamiya has garnered the reputation of being trigger happy when it comes to blocking people online.

When addressing his social media presence, Nakamura didn't take long to ask about why Kamiya deems users that pester him as "insects." Kamiya said that he prefers to use that word instead of outright insulting people. The developers also discussed that people online can often be unsavory to Kamiya, tossing offensive or tasteless comments at him as well as repeating themselves and asking the same questions. Kamiya and Nakamura speculated that what people online want is a reaction from him, and are not as interested in knowing the answer to the question they are posing.

In addition, Kamiya also insisted that when he is interacting with people online his intention is not to be xenophobic. Since the developer tweets in Japanese, he expects his audience to be native Japanese speakers. There are also non-Japanese people who are interested in his tweets and interact with him, which he reiterated is totally fine.

When tackling the topic of Hideki Kamiya's use of the blocking function on X (Twitter,) the developer said that he does it "light-heartedly," and said that he will often unblock people if they ask through alternate accounts. He then went on to say in English "I like blocking, but I also like unblocking." Kamiya explained that since the beginning he has treated Twitter (now X) to an izakaya, or a Japanese bar, where he can have light-hearted and casual conversations with people.

The new video interview with Hideki Kamiya appeared on game studio Unseen's YouTube channel, where head of studio Ikumi Nakamura asked a variety of questions to Kamiya and talked about their friendship and past work relationship. The video is over 42 minutes long, and is available in Japanese with English subtitles and closed captions.

You can check out the video interview here:

Hatsuboshi Gakuen The Idolmaster performance in launch month May-June 2024

Hatsuboshi Gakuen: The Idolmaster performed very well for Bandai Namco within a month after it launched on May 16, 2024. Sensor Tower Japan published a report noting the new mobile game's performance in its launch month. it topped the domestic download and revenue rankings within the period.

Sensor Tower uploaded a download ranking sourced only from the Japanese official Google Play Store and Apple App Store from May 16, 2024, until June 15, 2024. It showed that with over 1.5 million downloads, Gakuen Idolmaster topped the ranking by surpassing even Supercell's Squad Busters and Kuro Games' Wuthering Waves. The latter recorded 30 million downloads worldwide from both the PC and mobile versions from its launch on May 22, 2024, until June 11, 2024. However, it could only reach fourth place with less than a million downloads when the scope was limited to Japanese mobile players.

In addition, Gakuen Idolmaster also topped the Share of Voice ranking for mobile games with the Simulation genre on the Japanese YouTube scene in May 2024.

Sensor Tower also shared charts that show the game's sales performance made through microtransactions. While the iOS version maintained a top-three ranking for eight days since launch, the Android version stayed in first place for nine consecutive days on May 20-28, 2024.

The company also compared Bandai Namco's mobile game revenues from the same period in 2023. While titles like One Piece: Bounty Rush, One Piece: Treasure Cruise, and Dragon Ball: Dokkan Battle still remain intact, Gakuen Idolmaster dominated the share with 41% in the month following its launch.

Hatsuboshi Gakuen: The Idolmaster is readily available on Android and iOS mobile devices in Japan.

Genshin Impact Amazon Store Sale Begins

HoYoVerse announced its first major sale on merchandise in its Genshin Impact Amazon storefront. Until July 14, 2024, a number of items are on sale, with the highest discount being up to 20%. However, since these involve coupon codes, the discounted price doesn't show up until you add items to your cart and checkout.

The company regularly adds new Genshin Impact merchandise to its Amazon store, and some of the items from this sale are ones added in the March 2024 and May 2024 drops. For example, both the Kaveh Teyvat Nature Discovery Tour items and the ones featuring Albedo, Beidou, Candace, Kokomi, and Tighnari are 15% off. Also, the Statue of Her Excellency, The Almighty Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder figure is a part of the sale, though its discount only drops the $59.99 price by 10%. In the case of every item in the storefront's sections, there will be a green highlighted segment noting the discount available when the coupon is applied.

Here are some of the more notable items that are discounted as part of the sale. Some of them are incredibly recent, like the Fontaine Masquerade of the Guilty acrylic stand with Furina and Neuvillette.

Review: The Exit 8 VR Hits Different

When I first played The Exit 8, it was on the Nintendo Switch. I loved it. The idea of going through, picking out what is obviously or not-so-blatantly wrong was a lot of fun, and sometimes fascinating. After playing The Exit 8 VR on the Meta Quest 3, it felt like a natural, comfortable fit and really made me feel even more pulled into the experience.

You are in a subway tunnel. To get out, you must reach Exit 8. However, this isn't as simple as walking down a hallway and making the right turns as you follow a map. The only way to get to the exit you need is to successfully pass through a repeating space enough times leading up to it, starting and 0. If the hallway, its layout, and its occurrences are all identical to your first walk through it, you are safe to go through and continue, and the next time you pass the Exit sign it will say 1, 2, 3, and so on. If you go through and something seems awry, you need to turn back.

Screenshot by Siliconera

Those anomalies are what makes The Exit 8 fascinating in all of its incarnations. This is essentially an observation game. You need to pay attention to your surroundings. Are the posters the same? The lights? The tiles? Is the other person who keeps walking down the hall behaving normally? Do you not hear any unusual sounds? If even one thing is awry, you need to turn around. When you do, you'll find yourself passing another Exit sign, only with the number increasing to show you're on the right path.

It's simplistic, but that's the what makes The Exit 8 VR, and the game in all its forms, work. You can't actually interact with anything. You can walk or run forward, but that's it. Since the space is focusing on a single hallway, it can feel fairly realistic. Though admittedly, I did encounter anomaly that seemed a bit sillier in VR than it did on the Switch.

It's because of that simplicity and execution here that worked favor of The Exit 8 VR. The nature of the Meta Quest 3 headset and playing it in a quiet room really made the sound design stand out. Every audio cue was easier to hear and made me felt even more like I was walking down the hallway. This also helped with anomaly spotting. It also made certain visual anomalies a little more fun to experience. Being able to see them so closely in front of me made them feel more real or even unsettling. It's immersive in a way that was impossible on the Switch, and I enjoyed it so much more as a result.

Screenshot by Siliconera

There are a few elements that might make it a little more difficult to get into The Exit 8 VR on the Meta Quest headsets like the 3. At least, perhaps initially. It's very easy to get accustomed to moving forward down the hall and sprinting. However, if you use the left joystick to move the camera to look, it's a bit halting and might keep you from actually seeing something when the position snaps into place. It's helpful at reducing VR motion-sickness, but takes getting used to. Also, when I encountered an anomaly like ones that involved an incredibly speeding retreat, I noticed it took me about an hour of playing and getting adjusted to the controls and atmosphere to recognize and extricate myself from the situation.

MyDearest and Kotake Create really did a fantastic job of pulling off The Exit 8 VR on the Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro. I mean, I'm sure it helps that the base game isn't the most complex title. Even so, I felt no VR sickness or discomfort. It's so easy find yourself immersed in it. It's even easier to spot and experience the anomalies, thanks to the sound design and execution. Going through The Exit 8 in VR is now my favorite way to play.

The Exit 8 VR will be playable in VR on the Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro on July 11, 2024.
