With Diablo 4's latest season still a month away, you might be on the hunt for a new ARPG to try, and Last Epoch Season 3 is here to answer the call. While it's about to have some serious competition from Path of Exile 2's next update, Eleventh Hour Games has brought some big improvements to the table in Beneath Ancient Skies. With a new story chapter, an evolving enemy threat, major class reworks, and improvements to many of the core systems that make it a personal favorite, it's a great point to start playing.

Battlefield was once a bastion of the FPS genre. Its gritty miltary action and great gunplay put it head and shoulders above most of the competition. However, that fortune has fallen in recent years. Battlefield 2042 in particular felt like the series' nadir, as it launched light on content and heavy on frustrations. However, the recent Battlefield 6 open beta has drawn players back in. It's more reminiscent of the classic games, a return to form of sorts. And it's even had the knock-on effect of getting folks back on board with Battlefield 2042.

Lords of the Fallen 2023 didn't have the strongest start. Even its own developers will admit that. David Valjalo, creative portfolio strategist at CI Games, told us at Gamescom that its launch was "rocky" with "some technical hiccups," but he assures us that the team has learned from the experience. "We've gone above and beyond in delivering on what we initially promised," he says. The game has received over 50 patches since launch, culminating in version 2.0, which released this summer. However, CI Games wants to get out of the blocks quicker with Lords of the Fallen 2.

Someone at AMD is going to be getting a dressing down, as the AMD FSR 4 source code has just been inadvertently posted on Github, and then swiftly deleted. Not only has this slip-up potentially given competitors such as Nvidia the chance to peer at the inner workings of AMD's new upscaling tech, but it's also revealed the presence of files that could enable you to run FSR 4 on older AMD Radeon GPUs based on the RDNA 3 architecture, such as the Radeon RX 7800 XT.

I'm a big fan of AMD FSR 4, which I tested for my AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT review. Unlike previous versions of FSR, it uses AMD's AI cores, and the difference is night and day for game graphics. The previous problems with blurriness and horrible digital noise around fast movement are gone, and the result is much sharper graphics in games, with a big boost in frame rates compared to not using FSR at all. This new tech helped propel several of AMD's latest GPUs onto our best graphics card buying guide, and AMD has also previously told us that there's no technical reason why you couldn't run FSR 4 on Nvidia GPUs using the Tensor cores.

August 21, 2025: The GTA 6 release date is still on track following Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick's appearance on CNBC's Money Movers.

When is GTA 6 coming out? Given how many years it takes to create open worlds of the same caliber as GTA 5, it's no surprise that Rockstar Games has already spent years developing GTA 6. Rockstar prefers to keep its secrets close to its chest until close to the end of development, but Take-Two has now confirmed when exactly we can expect it to arrive.

The Grand Theft Auto 6 release date has certainly been a long time coming. Early gameplay leaks of GTA 6 surfaced online last year, along with lines of source code and development footage for the open-world game. There have been plenty of rumors and speculation surrounding the release date since then, but we finally have confirmation of the GTA 6 release date, story, and setting. Here's all the latest on GTA 6, including trailers and news, right here on PCGamesN.

You really have to hand it to the publishers of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. They are the absolute masters of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, the doyens of stepping on rakes, even as they near the checkered flag. The long-awaited RPG got a new trailer and what may actually prove to be the final release date at Gamescom Opening Night Live this week. The trailer was a feisty show of Dishonored-esque mayhem, and the hands-on verdicts I've read (save for stinky uncle Eurogamer) have been positive. Ours is forthcoming.

But then came the revelation that this much-delayed sequel to a quintessentially faction-led RPG from a company famous for downloadable add-ons would sell two of its vampire clans as day-one DLC. How we laughed! How we clutched our faces and chittered like gerbils! How we ran outside, begging for the moon to fall on our heads! Despair springs anew.

Standing in Dream Castle with Joy, Goofy, Vanellope, Merlin, and Donald Duck to play a capture the sun game in disney dreamlight valley

Now that Joy is an official villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley, she's looking for ways to inspire happiness around the valley. One of her key tasks is to start up a game for you and some villagers to play in the Capture the Sun quest.

You've never played Capture the Sun before, so navigating through this quest can be a bit tricky. It's an essential one to get done if you're trying to build your friendship with Joy, though, so here's a complete walkthrough for the Capture the Sun quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete Capture the Sun in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Talking to joy in DDV
Screenshot by Destructoid

To complete the Capture the Sun quest, you need to find a spot to set up, rally some villagers who are willing to play, craft the required resources, and play the game. There's a lot to this one, so here's a full breakdown of all the key steps you need to tackle.

Find the best spot for a game of Capture the Sun

First, you need to scour around the vast valley to find some potential spots to set up. There are three locations you must check out, including:

  • The southern edge of the meadow – Head over to the very south end of the Peaceful Meadow biome, close to the stairs that lead down into Dazzle Beach.
  • Near the Wishing Well in the Plaza – Locate the large Wishing Well near the north end of the Plaza, right in front of the entrance to the Dream Castle.
  • The inside of the Dream Castle – Head to the north end of the Plaza and cross the bridge to enter the Dream Castle.

At all of these locations, make sure you're quite close to the correct area when taking the pictures. It took me quite a few tries to get them to count, and each one only worked when I was super close to the specified region.

Screenshot by Destructoid

After snapping a picture at all three locations, find Joy to discuss which one you like best. Regardless of which one you recommend, Joy decided the Dream Castle works best for this project and sends you on your way to complete another essential step next.

Recruit players for the game of Capture the Sun

You need some characters willing to play to make a game of Capture the Sun happen, so your next task is to find and chat with four villagers. The characters you need to interact with are:

  • Merlin
  • Donald Duck
  • Goofy
  • Vanellope

After convincing all four villagers to participate, return to Joy to share your progress. After chatting with her, you'll also get your next goal so you can get one step closer to playing the game.

Craft Flag Poles

Next up, you need to make five Flag Poles that can be used for the game of Capture the Sun. Head to any crafting station around your valley and switch over to the Functional Items tab to get to work making these items. Crafting the Flag Poles requires:

  • 10 Softwood
  • One Topaz
  • Five Daises

Crafting flag poles in DDV
Screenshot by Destructoid

Once you have the Flag Poles made, find Joy again to pass them over. It's finally time for the game to begin, so head back inside Dream Castle to get things started. Just before it begins, you need to snap a picture with all the participants, so equip your Phone to do so. Chat with Joy right after to finally start the game.

Grab three Floating Suns and bring them to your own Flag Pole

The Capture the Sun game is officially on, and to win it, you need to grab three Floating Suns from around Dream Castle and bring them back to your Flag Pole. The suns are flying around all the levels and can be caught by running after them and interacting as soon as you're close to one.

Your Flag Pole is the one right in the middle on the bottom level. To make catching the suns easier, it's best to consume some food so you can fly or glide around much faster. Once you have three suns and place them at your Flag Pole, chat with Joy about how the game went.

Standing by floating sun in DDV
Screenshot by Destructoid

You won, so Joy grants you a special prize. Unfortunately, the item she gives you isn't what she intended, and is a strange Plush Bear head. Chat with her about this odd reward, and she'll say she has no idea how this happened.

This is part of a larger mystery that spans across her quests and Sadness's quests, so you have to keep progressing to learn more. Work through all the quests Joy and Sadness give you to figure out where this bear came from. For now, though, the Capture the Sun quest is complete. Be sure to visit your mailbox sometime after finishing it to claim your real prize, which is a small Floating Sun decoration.

type soul fullbring and twin souls tier list and guide

Fullbrings feel a bit incomplete and there's not as many options yet as with the other races but we can still outline the best Fullbrings in Type Soul. Some just have really strong moves like Zangetsu's Chizuki and Time Tells No Lies' Twin Souls mode. I'll be taking a look at all moves to find the best modes in this Type Soul Fullbring tier list and guide.

Type Soul Fullbring and Twin Souls Tier List

type soul fullbring tier list

This Type Soul Fullbring tier list will take a look at both the base moveset and the Twin Souls mode to find the best Fullbrings. I'll also take into account the M1s and crits since each Fullbring has a unique weapon. There's still no True modes like with the other races and no shade but the Fullbrings definitely feel a bit incomplete and there's just not as much variety yet. That said, let's dive into each Fullbring individually below to analyze its moveset and combos.

SR Players: Shikai/Bankai tier list.

Arrancar Players: Resurrection/Segunda tier list.

Quincy Players: Schrift/Volt tier list.

S-Tier Fullbrings

S-Tier Fullbrings Why S-Tier?

Chess
Mythical
• Even with the nerfs Chess is the king of combo setups and move stacking because of the C move that lasts a while, follows and deals continuous hit-stun damage as you stack more moves on top
• You can do the X after C which has hyperarmor or follow up with something like Fast Fang/Hakuda moves
• Z is good for poking and dealing a lot of posture damage
• The Lance crit is a decent combo starter due to the dashing guardbreak but note that if you miss you can get punished and it's not too hard to parry due to the slight start-up lag

Twin Souls: Overall the defense buff from the armor passive is good but the meteor move isn't since you can easily dodge it and it doesn't do that much damage (Like 10 to 15%)
• That said you can combine the meteor after the grab move below to stun them long enough to land it
• The ranged grab is also great because it debuffs their defense and gives you time to recharge cooldowns and reposition and you can sometimes catch them as they fall if you time it
• Overall you can combine Chess with Speed, Kendo or Hakuda to movestack after C and X for great damage

Zangetsu
Legendary
• First off Zangetsu has the slowest M1s but it makes up for it with high-damage guardbreak and hyperarmor moves
• The crit is a really good hyperarmor launcher that extends well into some moves like Flash Fang but the stun part did get nerfed
• Chizuki's posture damage got nerfed but it's still the strongest tool for combos since it's a ranged grab that stuns and truecombos into Rising Swallow and almost any other move
• The Pseudo Tensho is also amazing because it has hyperarmor, deals a lot of damage and guardbreaks
• The X comboes well with other moves from the air

Twin Souls: Everything gets better in mode with a stronger ranged guardbreak crit and the Tsukiakari does OP damage with something like 20% on a multihit stun so if you get caught by one you're caught by them all
• The downslam is not good for combos but does like 10% HP
• Overall massive damage moves with guardbreak and hyperarmor that are really good by themselves but you rely heavily on smart uses of Chizuki for combos so Zangetsu takes a lot of practice

A-Tier Fullbrings

A-Tier Fullbrings Why A-Tier?

Time Tells No Lies
Legendary
• Time Tells No Lies is S when in Twin Souls but the base kit is A due to the RNG
• Starting off with the crit it's a decent move with a two part hit and guardbreak on both but it is kind of difficult to combo with it since it knocks them back but it does movestack well with the air crit variant (Separate crit CDs)
• When it comes to the base ZXC moves the Ticking Turmoil and Eternal Duel have different variants based on if you're below or above 50% of the time bar
• The Ticking Turmoil is great for slowing down enemy M1s and skills while the other variant deals more damage
• The above 50% timebar Eternal Duel is pretty good if you constantly get the parry freeze or heal challenge with the freeze being a true combo into any move and heal being just OP (The RNG nature is awkward to rank)
• The X is kind of dangerous to use because experienced players will predict when you'll reappear at your spot and time it so they combo you

Twin Souls: This is where things get OP because first up your X returns your HP to your starting value when you popped it and the slow move is much larger
• Then the Time Warden is just straight up time stop during which your opponent can't do anything as you combo them and have all damage proc at the end
• Emergence Everlasting just allows you to combo and movestack so much with the time stop it's crazy
• Even though they nerfed Time a bit and increased Rei costs the Twin Souls mode is still incredibly OP even though the base is A

Book of the End
Mythical
• The Book of the End is the true combo Fullbring because you can Z to apply a debuff and then C to make enemies kneel
• You can't hit them right away but as soon as they wake up there's a stun from which you can true combo into anything
• During the C kneel the enemies are invulnerable but they can't see what moves you're preparing and you get to recharge cooldowns and reposition
• The X is also good to launch them and then follow up with a move as they land

Twin Souls: This is where it gets crazy because the Existence move keeps stacking the Thread of Fate debuff and dealing damage in a zone while pulling them to the center
• Then the Fate move sacrifices a bit of your HP but then slashes and heals you for 25% base plus 10% for each enemy affected by ToF from Existence
• The ToF debuff also deals damage when Fate is popped and instantly revives you when you die if at least one enemy has ToF (3 minute CD)
• Overall, BotE is all about true combos with Z into C and reviving yourself by fighting in the Rewrite Existence zone
• That said if you miss Z and C or the enemy quickly leaves the Rewrite Existence zone this Fullbring falls behind so A-Tier is perfect

B-Tier Fullbrings

B-Tier Fullbrings Why B-Tier?

Devils Arm
Common
• Devils Arm isn't as bad as people say since it has fast M1s and can be really good with Hakuda and Speed builds to combo a lot with the various guardbreaks you get from base and Twin Souls
• Cerca is a decent launcher for Hakuda with a massive AOE hitbox and Lejos is good with Speed since Fast Fang comboes well after

Twin Souls: Both the base and Twin Souls moves do a lot of damage and Crucifijo launches after the hit so you can sometimes catch them in a combo with timing
• Overall Devils Arm is really good with Hakuda and sometimes Speed combos but you do have to put a lot of practice in to make it work so it's not as reliable as the higher Tiers

C-Tier Fullbrings

C-Tier Fullbrings Why C-Tier?

Dollhouse
Rare
• So Dollhouse isn't an unusable Fullbring but it can be awkward to play
• Basically your playstyle revolves around landing the two base moves to stack up 1 or 2 hearts and then transform them into dolls for that long
• The transformation is really strong and it's like a truestun so you can really pull off some great combos since once they're in doll form you can truecombo into anything Kendo/Speed/Hakuda
• The problem is that the cooldowns are a bit long for stacking and opponents can dodge and parry them so if you don't have stacks you're useless

Twin Souls: Now this is where things get weird because you can kidnap people into your Dollhouse domain once they pop their mode and leave them there until their mode runs out
• It's a pretty funny method to do but you're basically trading your mode for theirs
• Overall there are more reliable options for Fullbring but you can't deny that if you land those base moves and constantly turn people into dolls for true combos, Dollhouse can be good

That's it for my Type Soul Fullbring and Twin Souls tier list and guide. Last but not least, check out the best Fullbringer clans for your build and our Type Soul codes for free goodies.
