PCGamesN Tuesday, September 2, 2025 9:40 AM What are the best Dawn of War Definitive Edition mods? Released in 2006, the original Dawn of War is probably one of the best RTS games in existence. In an incredible and unexpected renaissance for the series, a new game was announced days after we got the nostalgic Dawn of War Definitive Edition. We have of course taken the opportunity to dive right back into one of our favorite RTS games of all time, made that much better with mods, and have found that the base game and mods all play considerably better now, so here are our top picks to try again - or for the first time - in Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War Definitive Edition or the OG (original game). PCGamesN Tuesday, September 2, 2025 9:24 AM It makes me shiver when I think about the money I've spent on gaming headsets. Finding the right pair of cans for late-night The Finals sessions took a while, but I eventually settled on a SteelSeries set that has been nourishing my ears with excellent sound for years. While I've dabbled with JBL products in the past, its latest range of Quantum headphones might be the rival I've been waiting for. While trying them out at Gamescom, it was the JBL Quantum 950 that really had me considering making the switchover. You might be more familiar with the JBL offerings on our guide to buying the best Bluetooth speaker than its best gaming headset contenders, but the long-running tech giant has been making moves in the gaming space with its Quantum series since 2020. JBL's latest offerings, the Quantum 250, 650, and 950, include redesigned hardware, upgraded drivers, and an overhauled QuantumEngine software platform for all, but it's the extra features of the flagship Quantum 950 that really caught my eye. PCGamesN Tuesday, September 2, 2025 7:42 AM If there's one thing you can say about Reikon Games, it's that it knows how to craft a mean cyberpunk world. The brutal metropolis of Rengkok, introduced to us in the studio's gritty twin-stick shooter, Ruiner, married sharply contrasting hues with the game's even-sharper combat. Now, Reikon's back, and while Metal Eden doesn't stray too far from Reikon's tried-and-true aesthetic, the frenetic FPS leans even harder into the maximalist sci-fi trappings adorned by its predecessor. It's been viewed by 3.7 million people, so I'm willing to bet that some of you were among them. I watched it, enjoyed it, and then moved on with my life. It was a fun story, a time capsule of game design from another era, but I thought no more of it. It seems that other viewers had different ideas, however, as now the game has a new lease of life. PCGamesN Tuesday, September 2, 2025 6:34 AM The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster isn't a clean stab at bringing the 2006 classic up to modern standards by any means, yet it's arguably the best way to experience photojournalist Frank West's supermarket dash-and-slash through Willamette Parkview Mall. Launched last year, the latest iteration of Dead Rising followed the studio's trend of having Denuvo anti-tamper tacked on, which, as always, went down like a cup of cold sick with a subsection of players. PCGamesN Tuesday, September 2, 2025 6:04 AM The Hell is Us system requirements feature my biggest pet peeve, upscaling tech. Using upscaling to determine the minimum and recommended hardware to run a game is a major red flag. Hollow Knight: Silksong is no longer vapourware, barring some extreme last-minute drama. Announced in 2019, it will finally launch this Thursday 4th September. To mark the occasion, we of the Treehouse have been chatting about our favourite examples of vapourware, if "favourite" is the right word. Your contributions are very welcome. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, September 2, 2025 7:53 AM ![]() The developers behind The Crew Unlimited, a community project that aims to make Ubisoft racer The Crew playable again following its unceremonious shutdown last year, have announced a release date. If you need a bit of a refresher, Ubisoft's decision to take The Crew's servers offline in March 2024 rendered it totally unplayable even for those who own a physical copy, due to its online-only nature. That's since served as the spark for the Stop Killing Games campaign we've reported on as its organisers have petitioned lawmakers across the world to ensure companies are required by law to put concrete end-of-life plans in place, when they decide to switch a game's servers off. It also set a group of Crewers off on a quest to make the game playable again. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, September 2, 2025 6:37 AM ![]() I should say, up front, that I believe A Storied Life: Tabitha means well. Although it joins a swelling collection of cosy/'wholesome' games that also happen to be about death, it's more grounded than most, forgoing grand scenery and grander metaphors to simply have you clearing out a deceased loved one's house while patching up her unfinished memoirs. All perfectly earnest and untoward, it would seem, and yet I walked away from my Gamescom demo last month feeling uneasy – especially about how its puzzle aspect undermines, rather than enables, its posthumous storytelling. |

Whatever they end up calling it, the game is in development at Bad Robot Games, a studio founded by the film and TV outfit behind Lost, Cloverfield and Westworld. So the project has both expertise and funding to spare, in theory. Is it evidence that the NUSA have invented time travel tech that also allows Cyberpunk characters to migrate into our own reality? While I really enjoyed gameplay in the original Daemon X Machina, it struck me as so impersonal. I didn't feel all that special. I was just another one of Orbital's Outer mercs dealing with the Immortal enemies in my Arsenal mech. Honestly? It meant I lost my motivation to play sometimes. Things are much more personal in Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion from its opening moments and that, combined with some really enjoyable exploration elements and missions, made the experience worlds better. If a Switch 2 owner is looking for a follow-up game to play after Xenoblade Chronicles X, this is it.
If you're returning to the series, some of the concepts are going to feel familiar. Immortal enemies still exist. Outers who have special abilities due to Femto energy are present, and they live in the Garden space ship above the planet. (Ordinary humans are on the planet below.) Arsenals exist naturally, with folks on both sides piloting those mechs. However, if you are new to Daemon X Machina, do not worry. This is such an easy game to get into, and it quickly introduces you to its world and combat.
That difference between the Outers and the Humans is part of the impetus for the whole story. Our avatar is an Outer named Nova who served on the Garden with the Sovereign Axiom Neun unit and was about to be unethically tampered with. Nova's childhood friend Nerve found out and saved them. The two tried to make a break for it, but when faced with an overwhelming enemy got separated. Nerve sacrificed himself so Nova could get away, and once on Ground Nova's new goal is to get back to Garden to return the favor. This means being recruited into the Human revolutionary faction known as the Reclaimers by Forge and taking on missions and fights to be able to get back. Again, it's really designed to make you feel not only important, but like you're starting to become part of a community.
I adored the Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion story. I absolutely fell in love with its themes and characters. Even some of the enemies are fascinating or just generally super cool due to who they are and their abilities, like Gaze and Legion. The introduction, which gets us involved in the whole conflict and sets up the relationship with Nerve, is so fantastic that I played for three hours straight my whole session because I liked Nerve and Forge so much. My biggest issue with the original Daemon X Machina is that I didn't feel connected enough to its world and motivated to fight for the cause, and that is absolutely never an issue here. Here, I get to be surrounded by other people and accompanied by NPC allies who help enlighten me about details about the factions, themselves, and the world as we travel together. And, since I can choose how I respond to them in certain situations, it even offers the sort of idea that they "value" me.

The customization elements are absolutely fantastic too. And they keep coming up in different ways. Things start with a very comprehensive avatar designer that lets you decide exactly how Nova appears. Once you get to the Fort's base, you can adjust the colors and patterns on your Arsenal, as well as apply decals and make them to further enhance it. When you get new armor and weapons, your mech changes when those are equipped. We can equip all sorts of weapons, mapped to the left and right triggers, left trigger, and Y button. It's possible to mix and match ranged and melee, as well as projectiles. After you take down boss Immortals, it can mean getting genes you can activate at the base to get new skills, changing your appearance and gaining active and passive abilities in the process. And since you're constantly finding equipment, growing in levels to enhance your capabilities, unlocking extra customization items like decals and patterns, and able to pay to reset your body after activating and equipping skills, you can basically change your entire identity and loadout at any time. While the original game did offer similar sorts of customization, it just feels like Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion goes above and beyond to let me get personal and fight my way.
Once you are settled, you set out into a rather open world filled with Immortals. You might happen upon items to gather, caves to explore, or other points of interest. I'd say Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is comfortably full of things to gather, but I did feel Xenoblade Chronicles X ended up offering more points of interest and variety. It isn't as populated in terms of landmarks or really diverse enemies in the same way. Like the Nintendo title felt like a genuine ecosystem, while this is frequently sending similar sorts of Immortals and Sovereign Axiom or stray humanoids at me. Still, I loved how environments embrace verticality, making it enjoyable to explore upwards and around myself. This also meant taking flight while fighting is easy. Happening upon mounts also ended up being quite fun. And again, being able to attack while riding is helpful. But if you don't want to fly, run, or ride through expanses, fast travel is really easy to unlock and features lots of convenient hubs.

Said fights are really great and, while you do need to keep in mind so many buttons tied to so many attacks, abilities, and items, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion isn't all that complicated. The tutorials are quite handy, and we're given so many ways to approach combat. I liked to equip melee weapons to RT and LT, with a ranged gun on LB. I didn't want to become too reliant on Immortal genes, so I took care with fusion. It's easy to lock-on to enemies, then swap between opponents. Aiming is quite easy with ranged weapons, and projectiles are so fantastic if you find grenades. I also loved that all the melee weapons feel different, so I quickly equipped a heavier, slower-moving mace for the bigger opponents and lighter swords and lances for faster foes. Also, whether it's a small or large space, it is very easy to keep track of the bad guys who are against you and retaliate.
I will say I did notice some Switch 2 Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion minor technical hiccups. If an enemy is far away from you, their framerate decreases and movement looks awkward. When driving in a car, gravity can feel like a suggestion, it sometimes felt like the world around me struggled to keep up with that speed, and again I noticed some framerate awkwardness. The stylistic direction of the character models, Immortals, and environments do mean that even if you are playing in handheld mode, it still looks pretty good and impressive. I also noticed that in two later fights with an overwhelming number of opponents, the congestion and situation didn't feel as responsive and easy to watch as earlier altercations. But then, I also played primarily in handheld mode on the Switch 2, and that could also affect things.

![]()
As for the online, I can't speak to how well it does or doesn't work. I actually didn't get to play with anyone during my time with Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion on the Switch 2. I will say that I did see a lot of people's bodies, though. If you are connected to the internet, you can see the fallen and loot their bodies. Most often, I only got Femto or ammo out of it, but it could be helpful.
With Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, it feels like Marvelous is really trying to let us create the mech experience we want and loadout we want in a world that needs us. I feel like the interactions between characters and storytelling are so much stronger here, and because of that I wanted to spend more taking on both large and small quests. I felt pulled into the world even more than before, thanks to the ambiance and lore around me, and the ability to really adjust every part of my mech made it easy for me to survive and thrive. On Switch 2 I will say that Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion might occasionally have a few moments, especially if undocked, but I could see that being fixed with patches and they're minor.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion will come to the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on September 5, 2025, and a demo is available.

Final Fantasy Tactics is a classic PlayStation title from the latter half of the '90s, which, 30 years down the line, is getting a remaster, with expanded gameplay and content fit for modern systems and standards.
During Gamescom 2025, we had the chance to sit down with game director Kazutoyo Maheiro and co-director Ayako Yokoyama, who shared a lot of valuable insight regarding Final Fantasy Tactics -The Ivalice Chronicles. They told us about the game's development, the reasons behind remaking such an old title now, as well as what newcomers and veterans alike can expect from the title.
Here's the full interview.
Note: Parts of this interview have been edited to remove common speech repetitions and allow for better text clarity. Third-person translations were also put in first person for better reading.
![]()
Why did you decide to make a Tactics remaster now, nearly 20 years later? What was the decision behind remastering the title instead of doing a fully fledged remake?
Kazutoyo Maheiro (director, Creative Studio 3): Actually, I had the chance a couple of years ago to play the original version of Final Fantasy Tactics. And in playing the original version again, even though the game is nearly 30 years old, he still realized that it has an excellent story and really good game design, and it is still something that resonates with players.
So, after I had played, I thought, man, I really would like to bring this story to a lot of new players, and that was kind of the starting point of the development for The Ivalice Chronicles.
As to your second question, I felt that the original Final Fantasy Tactics was already a very complete game, and I really wanted to bring that game to a new generation. And I think that if we went too far in that direction of the full remake, it would kind of degrade that part of Final Fantasy Tactics. You know, it already has that great story, it already has that great background music and everything like that, so we wanted to make sure that we were keeping that intact when we provided it.
As we look into this remaster launching at the end of September, I was curious about how the team is looking to define success for this title and what the possibility of a brand-new FF Tactics would be, depending on the success of the series.
Ayako Yokoyama (co-director, Creative Studio 3): I think with strategy RPGs in general, maybe there's a bit of a difficulty curve. They can be difficult games, and, well, we wanted people to be able to play through the entire game. So I think we were trying to bring it to as many people, including those who might be a bit averse to the strategy RPG genre.
And as I was mentioning, we did want to bring this to as many people as we could, and so we were trying, not just for strategy RPG fans, but just people in general, we wanted to kind of expand on who was able to experience Final Fantasy Tactics. So we're hoping that we're able to really provide this game and allow for many, many more people to play it.
Maheiro: And I think we've seen some really, really good reception for this title, and I know that there are a lot of people who know about the original, but they actually never had a chance to play it before. What we would consider a success [would be] if we provided that game to those people who haven't had a chance to play it, and then see their reaction, [and] that they really enjoyed it.
We know there are a ton of fans of the original, and I am fairly aware that they are looking for a sequel or a continuation. I think that kind of depends on how The Ivalice Chronicles performs and what the reception is from players. So it's kind of seeing what happens once it does release, and then [that could be] something we can consider.
You both talked fondly about keeping to the original and faithful story and presentation of the game, all the way down to the art style and how the game is presented. But you have added new things with the remaster, such as voice acting, UI improvements, light changes, etc. I was curious if the team also looked at implementing other changes that might not have made their way into the final product, and if so, why?
Maehiro: I think overall, when we think about our goal of bringing Final Fantasy Tactics to the modern generation of players in 2025, and the things that we added to give them the best experience possible, I feel like we managed to get everything in that we really wanted.
I think another way to put it is, when we were thinking about what we wanted to add, we managed to make sure that we weren't adding anything that was unnecessary.
Yokoyama: So again, the Final Fantasy Tactics story is quite amazing, and I think to help people enjoy that to the fullest, we made a lot of updates to the Chronicle.
And you might be familiar with Active Time Lore from Final Fantasy XVI, and we had actually thought about including something similar in The Ivalice Chronicles. But there were a couple of challenges surrounding that, and a lot of it has to do with the game's flags of progress.
Between the enhanced version, which we were updating and making a lot of new additions and adjustments to, and the classic version, the way those flags were was different. And [since] we basically had to recreate the engine for the enhanced version, it was really difficult for us to kind of set up all those flags, and as a result, it just became too hard to include the Active Time Lore, just because of the way that was set up.
So that was one thing that we did want to put in, but we weren't able to
When you were originally looking at designing the remaster of this game, was there any inclination or any thought to turn the 2D sprites into more 3D-scale worlds and environments? The team obviously decided on keeping the 2D to preserve the originality. I'm curious if there was ever a discussion or thought regarding that 3D art style.
Maehiro: I think from the start of the development of the project, we never really thought that we wanted to make those full 3D models or anything like that. And honestly, if you think about Final Fantasy Tactics, those cute pixelated characters and those 3D isometric backgrounds really are kind of like the heart and soul of the game.
Looking at the reception to Final Fantasy Tactics remaster and the vast library of tactical RPGs and older games that Square Enix has, I was wondering if there was an ideal older game or title that both of you might want to see get the Final Fantasy Tactics treatment in the future and what would be your personal favorite project to work on.
Yokoyama: Vagrant Story. I'm aware of how many fans there are for that. So many people leave comments and say, like, we'd really like to see a Vagrant Story remake, or something like that. And Maehiro-san actually worked on the original development of it. So it's a very memorable project for him as well. But I really wonder and want to see what it would be like if we made this now with the latest graphics.
Maehiro: Illusion of Gaia. For me, as a player, just playing that game was extremely fun. So that's why I would like to recreate that.
Working on a project like this, with a game and a story that is very beloved by fans, how pressured did you feel working on this title [while trying] to make it as faithful to the original and not stray from the course too much by adding things?
Maehiro: I think the pressure that I felt was a lot different from that you might feel if you're creating a brand-new game. Obviously, there are a lot of fans of the original, and one of the things we definitely don't want to do is disappoint those fans. But at the same time, we want to make sure that new fans are also enjoying it. So it was a challenge for us to make sure that we are able to both appease the original fans and the new fans as well, but bring that experience to them.
Yokoyama: I didn't work on the original 28 years ago, unlike Maehiro-san. Within the team, however, there are a lot of people who worked on the original game, who still love it, so coming from that perspective, we wanted to make sure no one was disappointed with what we were doing.
Rather than adding in all of these new features and changing things, it was more of a focus on making the game easy to play and making it approachable for people. We wanted as many people to play it as we could. So there were things that we added in, like difficulty settings. So you have the Squire setting, the Knight setting, and the Tactician setting, those three different difficulties.
It allows the person who's playing to basically select the experience they want and gives them the freedom to do so. And then that kind of ties back into the whole being approachable, being easy to play.

In Anime Rangers X, a significant aspect of effective farming and speedrun strategies is the souls equipped on your units. Now, there are many powerful souls in ARX, and most of them are challenging to get. So, we prepared the following Anime Rangers X souls guide and tier list to help you obtain and use only the best souls out there.

Anime Rangers X Souls Explained

Souls in Anime Rangers X are equippable items that grant your units various unique buffs, which you can't find on regular gear items. You can equip only one soul per unit (Mythic +), and there is also a limit on how many specific souls you can have on a team. For example, Soul of Fire works well both on DPS and support units, but your team can have only one unit with it at a time.

In the tier list above, we ranked all souls in Anime Rangers X based on their overall strength in the current meta. S-tier souls, such as the Domain of Love Soul and Soul of Infinite Riches, are useful in basically every game mode, and you should have them on your team at all times. The Soul of Fire, Soul of Pure Agony, and Soul of Virtual are the most common souls for DPS units.

Welcome back, Destructoid, to another week of talking about what we've been watching lately. This time, we're highlighting two alien invasion-themed shows, one of which is a shocking success for DC, while the other is one of Marvel's worst projects ever.
I'm a bit late to the party, but with Peacemaker season two starting last week, I finally got around to watching the first one. It was so much better than I ever could've anticipated, and the overall aliens walking among us plot made me think back to the disaster that is Secret Invasion.
![]()
I don't mean to focus on pitting Marvel and DC against each other, but I couldn't stop thinking about how bad Secret Invasion was while watching Peacemaker. The whole plotline for Secret Invasion and the Skrulls is a beloved comic arc, and the show completely butchered everything about it. It feels silly to say, but the truth is, Peacemaker did a better secret invasion plotline than Secret Invasion did.
I'm one of the few people who enjoys just about everything Marvel puts out. I don't get superhero fatigue, and I've enjoyed pretty much all MCU projects, even the more controversial ones like She-Hulk, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Eternals. I wanted to find something to like about Secret Invasion back when it released in 2023, but there's just nothing there.
The storytelling was confusing, the writing was bad, none of the surprises were actually all that surprising, and some terrible choices were made. The most egregious one, in my opinion, is killing the iconic Maria Hill in the first episode for what felt like pure shock value and nothing else. To make an already bad decision even worse, Nick Fury, who has been her closest ally as long as we've known, barely reacts to it and moves on in no time.
![]()
There just wasn't anything compelling or interesting to enjoy. Nick Fury has always been an icon in the MCU, and often even a scene stealer at times, but even him being the lead couldn't save this show. I don't know what went wrong here, but Secret Invasion genuinely missed the mark on all accounts, and it's a real shame considering the massive cast of talent on hand for it and the glimpses of a solid idea that sometimes peeked through.
Peacemaker, on the other hand, is wildly compelling, with a vibrant cast of characters, shocking plot twists, stellar humor, and a genuinely phenomenal storyline. Prior to watching it, I didn't care much about Peacemaker as a character. I thought John Cena's portrayal of him in The Suicide Squad was great, but I never really had an interest in following him further, which is why it took me so long to finally tune in.
I now think Peacemaker is one of the best superhero shows ever made, which isn't something I ever thought I would say prior to watching. Everything about it just works, and my only complaint is that I didn't start watching sooner.
![]()
I was fully captivated from the moment the opening credits started playing. Peacemaker has one of the most iconic opening sequences of all time, as the cast of characters dance their way through Wig Wam's "Do You Wanna Taste It" with completely blank expressions. It complements the tone of the show perfectly and is absolutely unskippable.
The wild cast of characters absolutely make this show what it is. Cena's portrayal of Peacemaker, also known as Christopher Smith, is surprisingly complex, making you root for someone who previously seemed irredeemable after killing Rick Flag Jr. in The Suicide Squad. My favorite member of the team by far, though, is Vigilante, also known as Adrian Chase, a completely unhinged and incredibly funny character. I also deeply adore Adebayo, Harcourt, and Economos, and would do anything for Eagly.
The alien invasion sneaks up on you in this show, but once you get into it, the stakes are quite high and extremely compelling. Aliens are known as butterflies in this world, and they kill humans to take control of their bodies. In the end, even their motivations are complex, as they're doing so to try and save the world. Peacemaker does a great job at blurring the lines between heroes and villains, which makes it even more compelling.
![]()
Overall, Peacemaker is utterly captivating from start to finish, with characters you'll grow attached to and a storyline you'll want to continue as soon as possible. It's a welcome surprise of a show, and if you haven't tuned in yet, now's the perfect time to do so since season two is being released weekly.
As soon as I finished Peacemaker season one, I watched around the first five minutes or so of the second season solely because I had heard about the Justice League retcon and the new theme song. I was excited to see how both were handled, and they definitely didn't disappoint.
Replacing the Justice League from the old DCU with the Justice Gang from James Gunn's new DCU was truly a genius way to handle Peacemaker's transition. And I kind of love that it wasn't even properly addressed; instead, we're just kind of gaslit into believing that was what happened all along.
![]()
The season one theme song is perfection, and is the only opening credits of any show ever that I never skipped. Season two had a lot to live up to, and the new credits definitely exceeded my expectations. I'm thoroughly excited to start watching the next season properly, and I'll certainly be back to talk about it once the entire season is out.
So, Destructoid, have you had the chance to check out either of these alien-infested superhero shows yet? If so, which one did you like better? What else have you been enjoying watching recently? Let us know down in the comments so we can discuss.

If you missed out on the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Network Test this past weekend, don't panic, as SEGA is planning to offer an additional way to try the game before its release later on this month.
Announced early this morning, the game is expected to receive a free demo in mid-September, which will provide a single-player demo to try out aspects of the game offline. Details on what the demo will include, including courses and playable characters, will be available at a later time.
Personally, I hope to see more characters and stages appear in the demo. Still, I can see SEGA giving us the majority of the content that was available in the Network Test, just without the option to play against people online.
The news follows the success of the Open Network Test, which saw thousands of players participate in online races with friends and randoms to test the game ahead of its release. The demo left many players hungry for more and has been received quite well online. At one point on Steam, the Network Test saw over 20,000 players trying the game simultaneously, and that doesn't include the vast number of players who were likely trying the game on consoles as well.
Before the Network Test, Destructoid had a chance to talk to Takashi Iizuka, Sonic Team's director, to discuss aspects of the game, including why DLC characters don't have voices and how the team came to the decision on which DLC characters to include in the game. You can check out the full interview here while we wait for the release of the demo and the whole game on September 22 if you purchase the early access Deluxe edition. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until September 25 for the full release.

A brand new season of Pokémon Go has arrived. With it, Keldeo is the main Pokémon taking the lead in the Tales of Transformation Special Research, with new tasks and rewards based on the generation five Mythical Pokémon.
Like with usual season content, these Special Research tasks and rewards make up the brunt of the season, offering rewards based around each event that'll appear in the next few months on your way to unlocking Keldeo's Resolute Form, whenever Scopely decides to add it in-game. Not all tasks are available from the start, either, with some functions only becoming available later on, so don't expect to be able to complete everything in one sitting.
With that in mind, we have put together a list of all the available content currently available for this Special Research tasks tree so you can see what you need to do in later branches and prepare for anything upcoming as you try to finish it all.

Update v1.1 is coming to NBA 2K26 during the early access part of the game and includes some major bug fixes and changes.
Visual Concepts hasn't made any gameplay alterations for the first patch of the game. The focus of this patch appears to be the bugs players have encountered in the first 72 hours of early access. The patch will initially go live on current-gen consoles of Xbox and PlayStation, followed by other platforms.
Let's cover all the changes in this patch.
Complete NBA 2K26 v1.1 patch notes
The patch will go live at 4 am CT on Sept. 2 and includes many changes. The reason behind zero gameplay changes is that Visual Concepts is monitoring the current situation. Here are the actual changes that you'll see after the update goes live.
THE CITY
The MyCITY experience has been far from smooth, and players can get a daily VC bonus entitled for those with the Pro/Hall of Fame Pass.
MyCAREER
Two major bug fixes have been added that allow you to progress without problems.
MyTEAM
GENERAL
PC (ADDITIONAL UPDATES)
This change is exclusive to PC and will be available when the patch goes live later.
