VTuber Harusaki Nodoka will leave hololive in late September 2025. She talked about it on stream, as well as uploaded a statement in both English and Japanese onto her official Twitter account.
According to her statement, she has grown as a person during her time at hololive. It was because of hololive that she was able to rekindle passions she had lost before she entered the company, but because of that, she wants to give careful thought to her life's goals and direction, as well as herself. She felt it would be insincere to the staff, listeners, and other hololive talents if she continued to stream while she can't fully commit her mind and attention to it. So after a lot of thinking, she decided to, in her words, "bring this chapter to a close." She will continue to support hololive as a fan.
Harusaki Nodoka debuted in April 2022, though is not a full talent. She is a staff member with a 2D model, much like her mentor and fellow former staff member, Friend A (A-chan). Because of this, she doesn't have a dedicated account. Instead, she mostly posts to the "holoAN room" channel. As of the time of writing, it has 118,000 subscribers.
Harusaki Nodoka will leave hololive at the end of September 2025.

Good Smile Company announced it will rerelease seven of its Nendoroids based on Demon Slayer characters worldwide. They range in price from $39.99/¥6,200 (Nezuko Kamado) to $46.99/¥7,400(Shinobu Kocho). They are expected to show up again in Japan in December 2025, with a worldwide return planned for Q2 2026. This comes ahead of the latest anime film's North American debut in September 2025. While all of these did appear before, and in some cases already got reprinted, they often sold out, went out of print, and in turn went for much higher resale prices.
Here is the full list of every Demon Slayer character who will be coming back in Nendoroid form as part of this rerelease endeavor, as well as their prices. All of them will include the same accessories and face plates as in past releases:
As a reminder, here's how all of those figures look:

This all happens as Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle starts to show up worldwide. The first entry in the trilogy of films that will cover the end of the series' story will show up in the US, Canada, UK, and other regions in Europe on September 12, 2025. (It launches in Mexico, South American countries, and some other places on September 11, 2025.)
The Demon Slayer Nendoroids of the characters Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, and Akaza will return in Japan in December 2025 and worldwide in Q2 2026. Pre-orders close on October 15, 2025. The anime can be found on Crunchyroll and Netflix. Viz Media handles the manga.

Square Enix took to social media to explain the various frame rate, resolution, and town building limits for each Octopath Traveler 0 platform and, as expected, the Switch will feature the most fps, town, and resolution limits. However, the restrictions and options on other platforms remain rather similar. This comes after a character introduction earlier this week.
The Switch version of Octopath Traveler 0 will be the most restrictive when it comes to the maximum fps, resolution, and number of buildings you can place when restoring the destroyed hometown. It will only display at 720p, with the resolution top being 1280x720. It can also run at 30fps, and your town can have 250 structures in it.
Meanwhile, the Switch 2 and PS4 feature similar states. Both will be in 1080p, and they can hit 60fps. Each one also only will let us place 400 buildings in our towns. The Xbox Series X is similar, as it is restricted to 1080p, but it can get past the 60fps limit if you have 120 Hz support. That can also feature 500 buildings.
The PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions of Octopath Traveler 0 will feature the greatest range when it comes to resolution, fps, and town building limits. All three can have up to 500 structures placed in town. They can also all get up to 120fps, though a PC player can also opt for 30 or 60 if they prefer. All three are also the 4K display options, though the PC version can meet others depending on display while still showing 16:9 aspect ratio.
Here's the official infographic Square Enix shared:

Marvel Rivals is about to be reinvigorated with a tank like none other before her in the hero shooter.
Angela, Asgardian sister of Thor who was raised by angels to be a powerful warrior, is the first true flying tank, allowing her to keep up with the likes of several other flyers like Iron Man, Human Torch, Storm, or Ultron like no one tank on the roster currently can.
Here's everything there is to know about Angela's kit in Marvel Rivals.
All Angela abilities in Marvel Rivals

Angela is a highly mobile Vanguard with infinite flight capabilities, making her one of the most unique tanks in the game on the first day she launches. Using her one angel wing, Angela can disrupt the air like no other Vanguard before her.
Wingblade Ascent and Divine Judgment are her bread and butter, allowing her to take flight or slam down from the air to deal big AoE damage-over-time where she strikes the ground. She can defend herself with Shielded Stance or close the gap with Assassin's Charge to damage with a spear or twin axes.
Heven's Retribution looks to be a strong combo-starter for her ultimate, dealing damage while also slowing enemies who are bound by her ribbons, allowing follow-up from high-damage characters.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is currently being review bombed by Chinese players complaining that the game's translation is terrible and an inexplicable downgrade from what was seen in the original Hollow Knight.
As spotted by Kotaku, Chinese Steam users were quick to pile on Silksong over its translation, complaining that the game's translation isn't exactly incorrect, but rather a misguided localization attempt that ruins the game's tone, story, and overall gravitas.
I'm in no way equipped to judge the game's Chinese translation, but many of these complaints seem to have some validity, as they prompted Matthew Griffin, head of marketing at Team Cherry, to address the matter on social media. Matthew said, "To our Chinese speaking fans: We appreciate you letting us know about quality issues with the current Simplified Chinese translation of Hollow Knight: Silksong," and "We'll be working to improve the translation over the coming weeks. Thanks for your feedback and support."
And yet, this acknowledgment and promise to fix things have not been well received, as yet another barrage of negative comments and quote tweets has hit Griffin, with one particularly angry user stating that the hatred towards the localizer isn't "enough."
Silksong was released yesterday to big numbers—so big, in fact, it caused Steam and many other storefronts to crumble underneath its weight for a while. The game quickly beat 500,000 concurrent players and has garnered rave reviews from fans and critics alike everywhere outside of China, where it's average review rating is barely above the 50% mark.
Silksong still has overwhelmingly positive scores on Steam, but that's only because Valve recently changed its policy in a way that prevented region-specific issues from tainting a game's overall review score. Chinese players now make up the largest group of Steam users, so that policy change couldn't have come at a better time for Silksong.
You can now get Hollow Knight: Silksong on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and macOS.

MonsterVine Friday, September 5, 2025 10:00 PM The most damning critique I can make of Lost Soul Aside is that I couldn't wait for it to be over. While the combat does occasionally shine, the poorly constructed narrative, terrible cinematography, and levels that drag on for the sake of having a longer game. While the technical performance was better than expected, Lost […] |
