Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, October 10, 2025 5:17 AM ![]() Battlefield 6 marks the first time, in all my years of hardwaring, that I have been summoned to someone's house in order to make a PC game work. I can't offer this Jim'll Fix It service to everyone, not least because IGN's lawyers have issues with the name, so I'll just say this: Enabling Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 is inconvenient, but not as fiddly as it sounds, and can be done with at most a couple of toggles in your BIOS/UEFI's Security section. As it turns out, that's probably the worst of BF6's hardware worries. I don't know who forgot to tell DICE that all FPS blockbusters must now be callously demanding graphics card shin-kickers, but in both the campaign and multiplayer, this seems to run quite... well? Likely well enough that as long as you're on any reasonably modern rig, you might not need to do much twiddling with the visual settings. Still. Let's have a go at it anyway. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, October 10, 2025 5:14 AM ![]() Altruism is a funny concept. Most of us can agree that bestowing a generous gift of greening shelf-stable bread-like product on the local park pigeons is a nice thing to do, but what of the knowledge that moulders in the back of our minds all the while, telling us: keep this up long enough, and you'll definitely end up with a loyal army of skyborne scavengers willing to enact your every destructive whim at a mere flick of your wrist? Feed them the really good bread, they might even let you throw them at things. From super seeded, to superceding god. Here's the trailer for The Bench. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, October 10, 2025 5:06 AM ![]() This week's Borderlands 4 patch has arrived, firing some gear balancing tweaks into the looter shooter's innards, then probably dropping a cringey catchphrase. Developers Gearbox have also revealed some of what's in store for the larger patch that's set to arrive next week, with performance fixes back on the menu alongside some more in-depth balancing that'll touch "those unintended interactions" folks have been relying on for overpowered builds. It's all in the line with the nice rhythm the studio have settled into following an initial flurry of activity in response to the game running not goodly on PC out of the gate. Last week brought a big patch featuring the first round of vault hunter balancing tweaks, so this week sees a chaser precede the next shot. |

HoYoVerse just shared the Genshin Impact Luna II Special Program stream and, in addition to confirming the new Nod-Krai Archon Quest and character, stated the update will bring the Miliastra Wonderland feature with game creation, original games, a custom avatar, and multiplayer opportunities. The patch will debut on October 22, 2025.
The Miliastra Wonderland is the Genshin Impact original game creation and socialization feature, which allows us to create and customize Manekins avatars to represent ourselves when playing and interacting with others. To access it, people need to play the Archon Quest Prologue set in Mondstadt. This is essentially the tutorial and first storyline, so anyone well established is past this point. The new feature will be in Paimon's Menu, and selecting it sends us into the Wonderland Lobby. There, we can check the Popular Miliastra Wonderland section for games and experiences to try and socialize, search available additions, create our own, and maintain our own lobby. There will also be unique Legendary Set cosmetics to acquire.
Here's the trailer for the Candlelit Revelry Halloween-themed Manekins outfits.
As for the rest of the update, we'll continue to see the new threats in Nod-Krai and assist Columbina. Part of that means encountering Nefer, one of the new characters, and Arlecchino again. The new boss for the update is called Frostnight Herra. As for banners, Nefer and Furina will be the two when the update arrives. Then, at the halfway point, Arlecchino and Zhongli will be back.
The trailer for Luna II: An Elegy for Faded Moonlight is below.
The Luna II events trailer is also live:
There's also a dedicated animation looking at Nefer.
Here's the full Genshin Impact Special Program stream for Luna II, which is also sort of 6.2.
Genshin Impact is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and the Luna II update with Miliastra Wonderland arrives on October 22, 2025.

To commemorate the release of Pokemon Legends Z-A on October 16, 2025, the Pokemon Center in Japan will release a lot of original merchandise, as well as hold some celebratory events in the physical stores. Pikachu mascots dressed up like the protagonists of Z-A will also appear in Pokemon Centers throughout October and November 2025. Some gachapon machines will also feature merchandise from the game.
Pokemon Legends Z-A merchandise at the Pokemon Centers include keychains, snacks, and mugs depicting Lumiose City, the starters, and Mega-Evolutions. Like real tourist shops, you can also purchase a fake map of Lumiose City, along with magnets depicting key locations with Pokemon posing around them. The stores will also offer apparel and accessories that resemble what the protagonists use, so you can dress up like them in real life. Dolls of the starters—Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile—and Eternal Flower Floette will also appear in the stores.
Though the Pokemon Center has an online store you can order from, the stores encourage people to drop by the physical locations. If you buy the game, or go pick up your pre-order, from the Pokemon Center, you can get what looks like an exclusive keychain. As well, the promotion material implies that the Charizard at the entrance of the Tokyo and Osaka locations will Mega-Evolve. Standees of characters and Pokemon will also appear in the stores, which will make customers feel like they're wandering around Lumiose City.
For those who don't want to squeeze through the crowds but want to get their hands on Pokemon Legends Z-A merchandise, Bandai Namco will offer acrylic swings of Mega-Evolutions in its Gashapon machines. It'll cost 300 JPY ($2) per attempt. There are seven variations to collect, including both new and old Mega-Evolutions.
Pokemon Legends Z-A will come out on October 16, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

Moi Rai Games made a name for itself with Monster Sanctuary, a creature-collecting RPG paired with Metroidvania elements. The monsters we would collect would enable our progress and enhance our abilities. Now it walks a similar path with Aethermancer, only this time creature-collecting is paired with roguelike deckbuilder style games. Only inside of decks of say, cards, picture monsters we acquire. It's an interesting proposition, though things feel a bit early to tell if it will be as successful as the developer's original mash-up.
In Aethermancer, we delve into the void with the assistance of the monsters we meet, hoping to go other farther while also rebuilding a nearby town. The roguelike element ends up making it feel a bit like a Nuzlocke run of a Pokemon entry. We pick a starter and tame other monsters as we fight them, with up to three in a party, but lose "them" and must retreat if they fall in battle. These creatures can level up as we explore by taking on battles, and we can even equip one item to each one. But we do get their souls and can get opportunities to add to our party by rebirthing them at designated points on runs.
In a way, actually going through a run in Aethermancer does feel a bit like Pokemon, though with some Monster Sanctuary influences. We explore certain biomes, with only a handful available at the moment. (They look pretty good!) We can even use an ability to leap to higher ground to access items or perform tactical strikes on opponents below. When a battle begins, our three characters appear and we need to make informed strikes to take out opponents while surviving as long as possible. There are elements, so we do need to keep in mind typing when attacking to take advantage of weaknesses and stun opponents. However, the other elements to each creature ensure the turn-based fights feel more strategic. Since using abilities also means generating specific elemental Aether, there's another dynamic to consider when choosing every action.
Each character isn't just a certain elemental type. They also tend to have designated roles on a team and sorts of attack that influence how they work alongside other characters. When I picked up Aethermancer, I used the starter Nixe. It is a healer that also poisons enemies with the least amount of poison each round after healing or being healed. Its starting skills dealt water damage while healing all allies (Leeching Strike), thus triggering that passive, and its other healed an ally while generating Aether (Restore). The first tutorial monster I got was Tatzelwurm, which worked well with Nixe since it is an attacker type that has a passive that increases its critical attack odds when the enemy has poison stacks on it. One of its initial attacks (Toxic Slash) also inflicts more poison. When Tatzelwurm leveled up, I was able to grant it Regenerating Water, which would apply the Regeneration effect to an ally with the lowest level of it whenever another character used a water attack or skill. So whenever Nixe used Leeching Strike, that triggered. Add in Wolpertinger, and its Bubble Trick water skill would also trigger Tatzelwurm's Regenerating Water too for extra healing. It gets to be really fun to think about.
However, perhaps as another consequence of early access, Aethermancer throws a ton of these concepts at you, then doesn't explain them. Wolpertinger is a type of character that really relies on the Sidekick mechanic! What's Sidekick? Better make sure you have a couple monsters with it or encounter a group so you can find out! (It's a follow-up attack mechanic.) How do you properly work out ways to Purge and Steal Aether for teams with Cherufe or Wolpertinger? Better experiment! Except since this is a roguelike, you really don't get the luxury to do that beyond the initial area. So a little rebalancing and more opportunities to get acclimated could help at the outset. I also noticed that, by the third area or party member, you might not get the luxury of having the optimal team, but that's something that could be adjusted with future rebalancing and larger arrays of creatures.

![]()
Now, as this is in early access, there's quite a bit not quite there yet for Aethermancer. I think there's some rebalancing needed for certain types of characters, and of course I'd love to see more bosses. I've only encountered three biomes and three major foes at the moment, and I think I'd need at least triple that to feel satisfied. I'd also like to see more equipment and growth opportunities for my monsters. While the build opportunities available at the moment invite creativity, you can see how early this is as you play.
I think Aethermancer could end up being a promising roguelike. It certainly shows the same attention to detail with characters and sprite work as Monster Sanctuary. And it explores the idea of pairing a monster collecting and raising game with another genre in the same way. What's here right now is a little slim on content. However, with proper balancing and more additions, it could prove promising.
Aethermancer is in early access for PCs. A demo is available now via Steam.

Marvel Comics has no shortage of teams and groups that come together to fight against the evils of the world, and Marvel Rivals already has several of them represented.
X-Men, Avengers, and Spider-Verse heroes are just some of the existing groups already in the game. But in season 4.5 with the arrival of Daredevil, a new team has come to the forefront: Marvel Knights.
In the 1990s, Marvel Knights was a special run of comics that included several limited series but also was a part of ongoing series of comics, but they centered around a number of characters that are in the game. In season 4.5, a new achievement requires some Knights knowledge to progress.
Here's everything there is to know about the Marvel Rivals "The Defenders" achievement, including who counts as Marvel Knights.
Marvel Rivals 'The Defenders' achievement - Marvel Knights members
![]()
To unlock "The Defenders" achievement in Marvel Rivals and land 10 KOs as Daredevil with other Marvel Knights members, you need to combine for a KO on enemy players with Black Widow, Blade, Cloak & Dagger, Moon Knight, or The Punisher.
This achievement should come pretty naturally if you play as Daredevil and earn eliminations while playing with any of the other above heroes, who are just some of the Marvel characters who could be considered Marvel Knights.
Just play any match in Marvel Rivals as Daredevil and team up with the other heroes to land eliminations on enemy players, meaning both of you need to deal damage to the player to eliminate them, and this achievement should pop pretty quickly.

The day we've all been waiting for is finally here: Battlefield 6 is officially live. However, despite EA's saying the servers will be ready for the incoming traffic, players are clogging up the queue so hard it's reaching numbers as high as my country's total population.
As of this article, I am sitting in a queue at position 416,000, meaning there's half a million people ahead of me trying to get into the game. I don't even want to look behind myself at the line that is just forming, given that this queue size is already almost equal to my home country's population of some 625,000. Battlefield 6 is by far EA's biggest release in these last few years, with this summer's open beta indicating we'd be in for a true storm once the launch day comes.
![]()
And the launch day has come, with BF6 now officially live across the world. Though the server queue is massive, performance remains stable and steady, with respectable frames and pings. Finding a match is super easy, whether through official matchmaking or the server browser, and that should remain so for the foreseeable future. The server queue is also moving relatively quickly, so even if you do get stuck way behind, you shouldn't spend too long within it.
Hopefully, EA will also expand the server network in the coming days as the company adjusts to the infinite sea of players trying to get their hands on what could just be the best Battlefield in a decade.
In the meantime: stay frosty, soldiers, and we'll see you all at the front of the queue (after we're done compiling shaders for an extra five minutes, that is).

Game launches on Fridays are a beautiful thing. I remember growing up they were basically all on Tuesdays, which was not conducive to being productive throughout the week.
But with a hyped game like Battlefield 6, many players are taking sick days or paid time off to play it on its Friday launch day and extend the fun into their weekend to have several consecutive days of grinding out wins and frags with their squads.
But with a Friday launch comes even more players who want to play right when the game goes live. Because of this, EA has implemented a server queue. Here's what that means for you.
Battlefield 6 'game servers full' explained
![]()
On the day of BF6's launch, many players are being placed into a queue to log in to the game in a list of well over 400,000 players for some gamers. EA and Battlefield Studios explained that this has been put in place as a safeguard and is due to large demand to play the game as soon as it's available.
"Battlefield 6 launches today at 15:00UTC and we anticipate many of you to login at the same time during this initial moment," BF Labs explained. "To help ensure a smooth and stable login experience for everyone, we're adding a queue system during this and other peak moments. Thanks for your patience as we launch Battlefield 6."
Basically, this means you have to wait in line to get on the servers to play the game, whether you're on console or PC. This can obviously be a bit of a bummer, but the hope is that once you make it through the queue, you can play BF6 with no further issues.
Even after launch day, it's possible that server queues could pop up as a bottleneck to prevent the servers from crashing if there are too many players online, like "other peak moments" as described. It may also happen after updates when servers need downtime and come back online once deployed.
![]()
Just sit tight, grab an energy drink or a snack, and get ready for your queue to let you in the game as you impatiently watch that massive number slowly dwindle to zero.

Today, a new batch of Pokémon Legends: Z-A leaks is coming from the game's 1.0.1 patch, which some players online claim to have their hands on. Among the most surprising reveals, Pokémon dataminer Kaphotics pointed out that Legends: Z-A could release without Mega Rayquaza.
Kaphotics pulled all Pokémon moves in the game files, and Rayquaza's signature attack, Dragon Ascent, is not on the list. This move has been exclusive to Rayquaza since it got its Mega form in Generation six, and the Legendary Pokémon has never been seen without Dragon Ascent in its move pool.
If accurate, this information all but confirms that Rayquaza and its Mega form will not be available when Legends: Z-A releases.
Other data backs up this claim. The form reversion table Kaphotics pulled from the Legends: Z-A files also suggests Mega Rayquaza is missing. This table shows Pokémon that have multiple forms that are reverted when they're moved to the box, like Castform's weather forms and Darmanitan's Zen Mode. Mega Evolutions count as a reversible form, so all Mega Pokémon revealed so far, such as Malamar, Hawlucha, and Victreebel, are on this list. Rayquaza isn't, so it shouldn't have extra forms aside from its base looks as of Z-A patch 1.0.1.
That doesn't mean Mega Rayquaza will never be in the game. Raichu is also absent from the form reversion list, but The Pokémon Company has confirmed Mega Raichu X and Y will come out with the Mega Dimensions DLC on February 28, 2026. So, it's reasonable to think that Mega Rayquaza could also become available with the DLC.
Take those leaks with a grain of salt. While Kaphotics is a reliable dataminer, all the information they've published is unconfirmed and subject to change until Pokémon Legends: Z-A comes out.
But I don't see The Pokémon Company giving up on Mega Rayquaza on Legends: Z-A, which is why I believe in the theory that it's coming in a future DLC. Rayquaza is one of the most liked legendaries in the series: it was the #8 overall Pokémon of the Year in 2020 and #1 from the Hoenn region. It's more likely that The Pokémon Company is delaying its launch to drive DLC sales than leaving it out of the game entirely.

Scooby Doo and his friends have arrived on the Fortnite island to help put a stop to the spooky chaos that has overtaken it for Fortnitemares. They need your help to do so, though, which is why they come with some key found quests to complete.
The 2025 installment of Fortnitemares offers loads of free rewards, but to earn them, you first need to work through lots of important quests, including these ones. Most of these missions are fairly tough to get done, so here's how to complete all the Scooby Doo found quests in Fortnite.
All Scooby Doo quests in Fortnite
![]()
There are five missions you need to get done to complete all Scooby Doo quests. There's one to tackle for each member of the gang, and most of these tasks are fairly complex, with many smaller quests you have to get done within the larger one. To tackle these missions, you'll first need to know all Scooby Doo character locations, as you must meet up with each one to acquire these tasks.
Complete Daphne's found quest in Fortnite
For Daphne's found quest, you need to find her stolen luggage and confront the thief who took it. Both the luggage and the thief can be found on a mountain that's slightly southwest of Daphne's location at Viney Shafts.
They're near the edge of the mountain, close to some tents and RVs parked there. Approach the luggage to check off the first task, then walk over to Mothman a few feet away to chat with him about stealing her belongings.
Complete Fred's found quest in Fortnite
To complete Fred's found quest, you need to find the five lost pieces of the Mystery Machine. This includes two tires, which are found on the road leading down to Ranger's Rest, and three engine parts, which can be scavenged from junk piles near the end of the road right by the entrance to Ranger's Rest. Once you have all five pieces, take them back to Fred to finish the mission.
![]()
Complete Velma's found quest in Fortnite
Velma's lost an important item, and finding it for her is the only way to complete her found quest. For this mission, you must find the missing magnifying glass. This item is located on the second floor of the house Velma is in. You can find it right behind some boxes covered with white sheets in the corner of the small second-floor area.
Complete Shaggy's found quest in Fortnite
Next up is Shaggy's found quest, in which you must gather three ingredients to grill the perfect burger. Around the gas station, there are loads of ingredients marked with a white diamond icon. Walk up to three of them to pick up the items you need. Once you have three, head behind the counter to enter the kitchen, then interact with the stove to cook the burger. Pick it up and bring it to Shaggy to finish this mission.
![]()
Hire Scooby Doo in Fortnite
Your last mission is also the easiest, as you simply need to hire Scooby Doo once to finish it. You can find him hanging out inside a gas station that's west of Bugswatter Beach, south of Creepy Camps, and north of Viney Shafts.
It's best to head there straight from the battle bus to ensure you're able to recruit him before another player does. You need 600 gold bars to hire him, so make sure you have a solid amount of gold before attempting this quest.
With all of the Scooby Doo quests now complete, you can move on to tackling other key Fortnitemares quests. You'll need to complete many more missions to unlock all available event rewards. Some good ones to work on next are visiting Pumpkin Takeovers with the Mother of Thorns, becoming Ghostface, and finding the Mother of Thorns Doja Cat.

Bubsy 4D was one of the standout announcements from this year's Opening Night Live back in August (even if that isn't saying much). Recently, I had the opportunity to participate in a small demo of the game ahead of its release during Steam Next Fest, and I can tell you, Destructoid, this game boasts some seriously tight platforming.
I was genuinely surprised by how well the controls worked when I first picked up the game. It takes some getting used to, but the amount of platforming options available to you feels like a speedrunner's dream. It's challenging to summarize through text fully; it's something you have to experience firsthand to truly understand.
![]()
![]()
![]()
Bubsy 4D is the fourth installment in the Bubsy series. This retro series has not been known for producing amazing games (seriously, Bubsy 3D alone is meme-worthy content), so there isn't much for me to go on here about its pedigree. If anything, Bubsy 4D is taking its meme status and doing something no one could have predicted—making a good Bubsy game.
It's a 3D platformer where you enter multiple worlds and need to reach the end to advance to the next one. Each world is divided into individual levels, each with a series of secrets and collectibles to discover. You can skip them all if you want and go straight to the end, but some of these items are used to unlock new movement tech in the small hub area, and even unlock new cosmetics for you to equip to Bubsy, and some of them are pretty fantastic.
![]()
![]()
![]()
My only gripe so far is that the individual levels can feel a bit cluttered at times and are unusually constructed. I think I would have personally preferred to see one massive world that you can explore and find collectibles, akin to Super Mario Odyssey. However, the individual levels still have a distinct charm. If anything. It's just a personal preference.
I also find that collecting literally everything is hard to do on a first sit-down. There have been times when I have missed individual collectibles and gone back, only to have still trouble finding them all. However, I'm sure completionists will have a field day with all the tasks to complete.

All in all, though, the small amount of time I was able to play has me keen to see more about the game in the future. The charm of the story and its characters, coupled with pretty great gameplay and movement mechanics, offers a glimpse into what could be a good retro revival of one of gaming's most memed icons. While I have only sampled a small selection of what is on offer, I am cautiously optimistic that we could be in for a treat here.
The content I played will be available in the upcoming Steam Next Fest, and there is even a speedrunning leaderboard for those who want to race to the finish and end up on top, should you feel so inclined.

There are many different factors that can make ghost hunting tougher than usual in Phasmophobia. Weather is a big one, especially if you find yourself encountering the rare Blood Moon weather condition.
With all other weather conditions, it's pretty obvious how the contract changes. Blood Moon weather is a bit trickier, though, as you likely don't really know what it means for your investigations. Understanding this weather is crucial if you want to succeed, so here's what Blood Moon weather does in Phasmophobia.
Table of contents
What does Blood Moon weather mean in Phasmophobia?
![]()
Encountering Blood Moon weather in a contract means you're working with some special effects and modifiers that are exclusive to this weather type and drastically alter how the round progresses. This type of weather features a bright red sky with a full moon and consistent light rain that stays throughout the entire contract.
While other types of weather, like snow or rain, generally just make visibility and temperature readings a bit tougher to accurately track, Blood Moon weather fundamentally alters the rules of the round. If you head into a Blood Moon contract without understanding these changes, survival is unlikely, as this weather makes everything a lot tougher than you'd expect.
Blood Moon weather effects in Phasmophobia
There are three main effects associated with Blood Moon weather in Phasmophobia:
Essentially, the round is a lot tougher than usual, but you get increased rewards upon completing it. This weather basically acts as a high-risk, high-reward modifier that gives you a healthy bit of challenge. It's more similar to a weekly challenge mode than it is to other weather types, which makes it a bit tricky to get used to.
How to get Blood Moon weather in Phasmophobia
![]()
Across all regular contracts, the weather is random, so there's no way to guarantee you get Blood Moon weather. You can, however, create a custom mode and choose the type of weather you want, allowing you to activate the Blood Moon with ease. Certain weekly challenge modes may also have this type of weather selected. This weather is also much more common during the annual Crimson Eye event, when certain maps have this modifier toggled on each day.
How often does Blood Moon weather happen?
Blood Moon weather is very rare, so the chances of it happening in any contract are quite low. The exact percentage chance hasn't been shared, but it's much lower than all other types of weather, as it's designed to be a rare occurrence.

Plenty of spooky characters have overtaken the island in Fortnite, but luckily, the Scooby Doo crew is on the case. The entire Mystery Inc. can be found around the island and are key characters to meet up with, but they can be a bit tricky to track down.
The island is quite large, and there are over 20 NPCs wandering around, making it fairly difficult to find specific ones. If you're eager to meet up with the crime-solving gang but unsure where to look, here are all the Scooby Doo character locations in Fortnite.
Table of contents
Where to find all Scooby Doo NPCs in Fortnite

All five members of Mystery Inc. are present on the island and can be interacted with. Here's where to find all Scooby Doo characters and a breakdown of the services that each NPC offers.
Daphne location in Fortnite
You can find Daphne hanging out in a building at Viney Shafts. She's near the north end of the area, standing close to an investigation board inside a room close to the center. You can chat with her to unlock and complete Daphne's found quest.
Fred location in Fortnite
Fred is hanging out near a road on a bridge close to Ranger's Ruin. He's fairly easy to spot from afar since he's standing right next to the broken-down Mystery Machine, a vibrant blue and green van the gang usually uses to get around. Luckily, you can help him repair it by tackling Fred's found quest.

Shaggy location in Fortnite
Shaggy is hanging around the inside of a BURD To Go gas station west of Bugswatter Beach, north of Viney Shafts, and south of Creepy Camps. Unsurprisingly, he's searching for food here, so you can help him find something to eat by completing Shaggy's found quest.
Scooby Doo location in Fortnite
Never one to stray far from his best pal, you can find Scooby Doo at the same BURD To Go gas station as Shaggy. He also wanders around inside the building, although he is a hireable NPC, which means he might be gone if another player gets to him before you do.
Velma location in Fortnite
Velma is investigating a small house located in the mountains south of Harmony Hills and west of OXR HQ. She's on the first floor of this house and is seeking your help finding a lost item in Velma's found quest.

Fortnitemares has plenty of other spooks for you to enjoy once you've met up with Mystery Inc. Next, you might work on visiting Pumpkin Takeovers with the Mother of Thorns, becoming Ghostface, and finding the Mother of Thorns Doja Cat.

After the most extended wait between mainline titles since the franchise launched, it is finally nearly time for fans to experience Pokémon Legends Z-A. As such, copies of the game are starting to appear in the wild, with some online posts allegedly showing physical copies of the title before its release.
People who report having access to the game say they are data-mining it, and so are posting a list of moves, items, and more that could potentially be in the game. Nothing has been verified, so take everything with a grain of salt; however, the details shared so far do point to some interesting changes.
A post on X seemingly reveals some of the items in the game, with popular items like the Shiny Charm reported to return. The list possibly showing that the item known as the Prison Bottle is also coming back, which makes sense given the prominence of the Pokémon Hoopa in the reveal trailer for the Pokémon Legends Z-A DLC trailer.
Meanwhile, another post from the same source reports showing the list of moves in the game, and could reveal that there is just one new move in the base game. At the time of writing, only new Mega Pokémon have been officially revealed for Pokémon Legends Z-A, instead of any brand new Pokémon. So, it's not entirely strange for there to be a lack of lots of new moves, either.
There's no indication of what the new move could be, though the unconfirmed source claims that it could roughly translate as "Light that returns to nothing." All of the marketing for Legends Z-A so far has focused on Lumiose City, and of course, the Zygarde teased in the Z part of Pokémon Legends Z-A. Meaning, while there isn't any official word yet, it would seem likely that this new move is meant for Zygarde in some way.
Of course, none of this information is substantiated, and we will have to wait for the official release of Pokémon Legends Z-A to find out more.

Fortnitemares has arrived, and it's brought with it plenty of spooky quests you can tackle to earn XP and exclusive rewards in Fortnite. Many of these missions are quite tricky, though, as is the case with the visit Pumpkin Takeovers with the Mother of Thorns task.
You're not given much guidance for this one, and it also involves one of the tougher characters to track down around the island. If this quest has you stumped, here's how to visit Pumpkin Takeovers with the Mother of Thorns in Fortnite.

Visit Pumpkin Takeovers with the Mother of Thorns in Fortnite
![]()
You can complete the visit Pumpkin Takeovers with the Mother of Thorns quest by traveling to three different Pumpkin Takeovers after defeating the Mother of Thorns boss. After you beat this boss in battle, she joins you as a hired NPC, allowing you to travel around the island with her at your side. For the purposes of this quest, it's crucial you keep her alive, as she must be with you to make progress in it.
The first step for completing this mission is finding and defeating the Mother of Thorns Doja Cat. She spawns at one of three locations around the map, including Freaky Fields, Gourdy Gate, and Supernova Academy. Once you find her, you need to fire at her with everything you've got until you manage to deplete her health bar.
As soon as you've beaten her in battle, Doja Cat will fall for a few seconds, then get back up as your new ally. From there, she'll follow you around just like any normal NPC you hire does. With her at your side, you now need to travel to three different Pumpkin Takeover spots. There are a limited number of them around the island, so moving swiftly is key, as some of them will likely be overtaken by the storm. All you need to do for this mission is enter three unique Pumpkin Takeover spots with the Mother of Thorns at your side.
Pumpkin Takeover locations in Fortnite
There are six Pumpkin Takeovers you can find around the island. These locations are all marked with a light blue outline on the map, making them fairly easy to distinguish from other key areas. Pumpkin Takeovers are all regions where pumpkins have sprouted up and taken over for Fortnitemares. Here's where to find each one.
![]()
With this quest out of the way, you can move on to tackling other tricky missions around the island. There's plenty more to explore in Fortnitemares, like completing Daphne's found quest, becoming Ghostface, and finishing Velma's found quest.

The best Clans in Weak Legacy 2 depend on two factors. The first is which Breathing style they're tied to, to either boost it or give you access to it (Moon/Sun). The second is how good the stats are and whether they get damage reduction. Based on these two factors, here's my Weak Legacy 2 Clan tier list and guide.

Clan Tier List in Weak Legacy 2
![]()
The best Clans in Weak Legacy 2 are either Tsugikuni or Kamado which give great bonuses and access to Sun/Moon V2s. Also, Tomioka is really good since Water V2 is so strong and it gets 10% damage reduction like Tsugikuni. That said, below I'll discuss all clans in more detail individually. Overall, S and A are the best options depending on which Breathing you use. B-Tiers are excellent alternatives with amazing stats. C-Tier is still good stats and good Breathing boosts but overall weaker than the rest. Lastly, the last two tiers are underpowered options. More on that below.
S-Tier Clans
A-Tier Clans
B-Tier Clans
C-Tier Clans
D-Tier Clans
The reroll clans are Sabito (+5 Strength/+50 Durability), Makomo (+3 Strength/+10 Durability), Kanzaki (+3 Strength/+10 Durability) and the Common clans which don't give a bonus. Kaneki is listed as None in the game. Basically you just want to reroll these since any of the above clans is better and just as easy to get with spins from codes.
How to Get Clan Spins in Weak Legacy 2
You can usually get a bunch of Clan Spins from our Weak Legacy 2 codes. That said, you can also get Clan Spins from bosses that drop them so look for bosses and raids like Obanai (True Form), Mitsuri, Shinobu, Kokushibo, etc. Just make sure to overlevel above them and have a good breathing/BDA so that you can reliably farm Clan Spins. Either way you get them, you can then reroll your clan in the main menu of the game once you log in.
That's it for my Weak Legacy 2 Clan tier list and guide. Check out our Weak Legacy 2 Trainer Location guide to find all Breathing, Demon and other trainers.
