PCGamesN Monday, June 6, 2022 8:33 PM Galactic Civilizations IV is out now, and there's an entire galaxy's worth of factions you can control as you try to conquer the stars in the newest 4X game from Stardock. We've covered many of the 18 playable civilizations, and with only a handful left to go we turn our attention to a civilization whose journey among the stars has but one goal: to find their lost children. The Manti Cluster's first encounter with alien life was not a pleasant one. Soon after these lobster-like beings announced their presence to the galaxy, raiders of unknown origin descended on their planet and captured an entire generation of children, permanently scarring the Manti's collective psyche. This setback results in the Manti Cluster starting a game of Galactic Civilizations IV with fewer citizens than other civilizations. And yet despite - or perhaps because of - this, they have grown into a surprisingly capable martial society. Trusting exactly no one, the Manti's Paranoid trait gives free defensive drones to Manti planets and orbital infrastructure, as well as bonus hit points for their ships whenever inside their own borders. The Manti also sport the Warrior trait, which lets their ships ignore the first 10% of damage dealt to them, along with extra range for all weapons. They now roam the galaxy, desperate for clues as to the whereabouts of their lost generation, and woe betide anyone who gets in their way. PCGamesN Monday, June 6, 2022 7:14 PM Looking for the best Diablo Immortal Crusader build? Creating a Crusader build for PvP and PvE is a hard balance to strike, but this holy warrior can act as both a heavy brawler and a healer. Pick the right items, skills, and gems and you'll be tough enough to deal with any situation. The Crusader is a stalwart Diablo Immortal class and is on our list of the best Diablo Immortal builds. It's a high-damage class that can cover ground quickly thanks to its celestial steed, and it's great at tackling large swathes of enemies and buffing the party. If you see yourself as the party's standard-bearer - one to charge in and act as the rally point, dealing sweeping blows while aiding your tailing comrades - then you should choose the Crusader. We've gone for a build that works in both PvE and PvP, but we recommend playing this with a party of friends as the crowd control skills and area of attack abilities are more effective when your teammates can swoop in and finish enemies off. It's also worth flagging that the party buffs we include in this build make it very poorly optimised for solo play, but with a few tweaks, you can create a solo build that'll bash down most packs of enemies. PCGamesN Monday, June 6, 2022 5:28 PM Summer Game Fest is not a Nintendo Direct, and Geoff Keighley doesn't have Jim Ryan's funding. These statements may seem obvious, but The Game Awards creator says it's important people remember the limitations he faces when putting together showcases such as the Summer Game Fest, which rely almost exclusively on advertisement revenue to keep going – for now. Keighley made the comment in a new interview with PCGN's sister site The Loadout, where he opened up about how mixing advertisements with announcements ultimately make the experience better for everyone. "We have to figure out a way to subsidise the shows and pay for them, and that's through advertising," Keighley says. "I get the conversation and I see it all. I'm fully aware of it. But that's just sort of the model that we have and that tends to work pretty well for most people." Beyond helping fund Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards each year, Keighley says ad revenue lets him turn the shows into something more than just another flashy event. E3 and similar events cater to the press and select attendees who can attend the actual showcase, leaving most people, especially international fans, out of the loop. Keighley wants the opposite for Summer Game Fest. |
PCGamesN Monday, June 6, 2022 4:50 PM The runts of Nurgle's festering litter, nurglings aren't much of a threat on their own in Total War: Warhammer III. But the foul little beasts can become a problem in sufficient numbers - unless you're up on a wall where they can't reach you, of course. If you're looking for a way to make make nurglings a bit more threatening, however, this handy mod for the strategy game allows them to scale ladders during siege battles. Climbing Nurglings and Flamers does exactly what it says: it allows Nurgle's nurglings and Tzeentch's flamers to climb up ladders and deploy on the walls of a fortified settlement during siege battles. While this is helpful for Nurgle and Tzeentch campaigns, you'll find that the AI uses this new battle tactic, too - so you'll want to watch out for flamers taking up positions along your walls, where they can pelt chaos magicks into your defending formations (note, however, that this does not include exalted flamers). For their part, the nurglings scuttle up the ladders in little clusters, the way nurglings do just about everything. They're vulnerable to just about everything, so getting them up to the point where they can actually begin climbing is a challenge in itself, but they will gleefully chew the ankles of any archers or other defenders who are stationed on the battlements if they manage to make it up there. Siliconera Monday, June 6, 2022 7:00 PM Capcom will bring Resident Evil Village to the Mac in late 2022. The announcement was made at WWDC 2022. Advanced Technical Research Division Manager Masaru Ijuin revealed the title would support 1080p resolution and 4K through MetalFX Upscaling. The presentation also featured a look as to how the port will look and perform on Mac computers with Apple Silicon. You can watch an archived version of the Apple WWDC 2022 online event below. The Resident Evil Village Mac segment begins at 1:23:31. [embed]https://youtu.be/q5D55G7Ejs8?t=5011[/embed] Several environments are shown throughout the presentation. These include looks at Castle Dimitrescu and the titular village on a Mac. Capcom announced in June 2021 that Resident Evil Village DLC would eventually appear. A follow-up statement was made in January 2022, revealing that the company plans to release the add-on sometime in 2022. However, an exact date has yet to be confirmed. Capcom has also not specified what the contents of the DLC will involve. This means there are no details about potential narratives it will cover or in what characters will appear. In December 2021, Resident Evil Village appeared on Capcom's Platinum Titles list. Worldwide sales for the title reached 6.1 million units as of May 11, 2022. Resident Evil Village is available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. It will arrive on Macs in late 2022. Siliconera Monday, June 6, 2022 5:30 PM When Mob Psycho 100 season 3 appears, Crunchyroll will offer it. The streaming service announced it will air the next season of the anime adaptation. It confirmed a release window too. It will appear in October 2022. That's also when it is due to debut in Japan. In addition to the release window, Crunchyroll offered an idea of regions in which it will be accessible. However, it didn't note which dubs could potentially be available after season 3 of the Mob Psycho 100 anime launches. Here's the full list of places in which people will be able to view it.

All of them are available in English with subtitles or dubbed. English, German, Portuguese, and Spanish dubs are available. The Mob Psycho 100 manga is also available outside Japan. Dark Horse Comics handles the English localization. Mob Psycho 100 season 3 will appear on Crunchyroll in October 2022. That is also when the season will appear in Japan. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Monday, June 6, 2022 8:33 PM Tomorrow, Sega is hosting another Sonic Direct, this time to offer a "sneak peak" at "upcoming projects." We'll likely see plenty on all things Sonic still to arrive in 2022. And perhaps, beyond even that. Sonic Central starts on June 7 at noon ET on Sega's Twitch or YouTube channel. It's impossible to nimbly sidestep the Sonic Frontiers landmine, so let's just hop to it. Sonic Frontiers will hopefully get a better showing during the June Sonic Central event. Gameplay footage of Sonic Frontiers has been shared via IGN, and to understandably mixed results. So far, the game has been looking like an aimless sandbox with little to do other than bop random bots or complete rudimentary puzzles. Fans have been divided, with a portion asking for the game to get delayed so it can actually become, well, a game. There are some defenders, but they seem to be few in number. The Sonic Central event tomorrow may include Frontiers, but there'... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Monday, June 6, 2022 8:15 PM Although Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl garnered a surprising degree of hype and attention before it came out, that buzz mostly died down soon after its launch. Opinions varied wildly on the game, but one common criticism had to do with the title's voice acting — or lack thereof. Even though the game's limited budget made the absence of such a feature understandable, that did not prevent players from feeling weirded out by it. For many, seeing these beloved characters from their childhood fail even to let out a grunt, let alone a whole phrase, sucked the soul out of the game entirely. Fortunately, developer Ludosity has finally addressed this issue, as it just released a free patch for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl that incorporates voice acting. Alongside this announcement, the official Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Twitter account unveiled a list of voice actors that provided their talent to this new patch. The developers managed to include several of the original voice ... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Monday, June 6, 2022 5:32 PM Ah, Hollow Knight: Silksong, the DLC and grew too large, its years-long development cycle taunting fans with a release date that never arrives. Or, maybe it will, and sooner than you think. Granted, I'm speculating here. But recently, it's been teased that Hollow Knight: Silksong will see a "world premiere" showing during Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest this week. Will it at last be news of when the game arrives? We have until Thursday to see if this little hint goes that far. For those who have been following, Summer Game Fest has all but taken over E3 duties after the latter got canceled this year. Since then, Keighley has been setting up the show, all the while tossing out teasers on what to expect. Back in April, he teased that The Callisto Protocol would make an appearance. And that recently got confirmed. During the weekend, Keighley couldn't help but to tease some more about a reveal. However, it wasn't him dropping a cheeky emoji this... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Monday, June 6, 2022 4:30 PM Last Thursday, Capcom unveiled an impressive new trailer for Street Fighter 6 during Sony's State of Play presentation. Although it revealed quite a bit about this new installment, such as the revamped fighting engine and an open-ended RPG-esque mode, it kept the character reveals to a minimum, only highlighting around four characters and briefly teasing a fifth one. Presumably, Capcom would have slowly trickled out character announcements before the game's release. But, thanks to a leak that seemingly revealed the entire roster of the base game a mere day after its announcement, it appears that Capcom's chance to surprise players with its character picks has already passed. Notably, through the official Street Fighter Twitter account, Capcom subtly acknowledged the Street Fighter 6 leak that same day. The account posted a tweet stating that "as residents of Metro City, we've all seen things we weren't supposed to see, but we're all in this togethe... |
