Mountain Everest 60 review – the ideal mini gaming keyboard

The quest to create the smallest gaming keyboard often comes with difficult sacrifices, but the Mountain Everest 60 has found a balance unlike any other. Thanks to some wizardry under the hood, it redefines what to expect from a compact keyboard, showing that going 60% doesn't have to be a nightmare to use outside of gaming. In fact, it's my favourite mini gaming keyboard to date.

     Best gaming keyboard 2022

Whether you use the best gaming keyboard for work or play, adding one to your gaming PC setup can make all the difference. Sure, that mushy set of keys at the office may technically perform the same role, but upgrading your clicky-clacky companion will help improve both your typing experience and your WASD reflexes in the best FPS games.

Choosing the best gaming keyboard isn't complicated, but brands like Corsair, Razer, and SteelSeries like to put their own spin on the staple PC peripheral. Whether you prefer full sized options complete with number pads and function keys, or dinky 60% space savers, there are a variety of keyboards out there to suit your gaming desk preferences.

To help you navigate the sea of RGB backlit, microswitched boards on the market, we've assembled a collection of the best gaming keyboard options, with products that pair with the best gaming mouse while catering to both premium and budget ensembles.

Grand Theft Auto 5 Criminal Enterprises expands GTA Online on July 26

Rockstar has unveiled the new Grand Theft Auto 5 Criminal Enterprises update for GTA Online, which is bringing new missions, upgrades, vehicles, and weapons to the popular open-world game. The new content arrives on July 26, and promises a selection of quality of life improvements for the crime game's playerbase along with increased payouts across a wide range of activities.

Perhaps the biggest addition is Operation Paper Trail, which sees players sworn in as IAA agents to help uncover a criminal conspiracy. The price of fuel is skyrocketing in Los Santos, and the IAA has a suspicion that the profits are all making their way into one particularly notorious group of petrochemical profiteers, the Duggans.

Businesses are being expanded across the board, and all business activities including sell missions for every criminal career path will be made available to play in private sessions when the update lands. Those with an executive office will gain the services of Lupe, a new staff manager who can help executives source special cargo.

Roblox debuts upgraded materials system for more immersive experiences

Following a beta test period, Roblox is rolling out an upgraded materials system designed to allow better-looking, more immersive surfaces. The textures, which include brick, glass, metal and other common materials, include enhancements that will allow for more realistic-looking design features when it comes to elements like shading, reflections and shadows.

"Our upgraded material system will enable creators to take their experiences to new heights while also providing us a foundation we can continue to iterate on. Our vision for materials is to make them an integral part of the development process, giving people even more control over the look and feel of their content without requiring them to write code for behaviours we know to be true in the real world," Roblox product director Josh Anon wrote in a blog post.

Not only are the textures designed to accurately simulate how such materials might visually react to environmental effects in the real world, but they also simulate physical properties in order to add even more realism to the Roblox experience. The blog post notes effects like tires skidding on wet asphalt or getting stuck in the mud.

These fans have a unique wishlist for Hogwarts Legacy gameplay

A group of fans is hoping Hogwarts Legacy gameplay leans a bit more heavily into the role-playing aspect of RPGs than most are probably expecting. Reddit user Super_Chausette asked whether anyone thinks Hogwarts Legacy will actually make us do homework in the game, since year five is, in the book series, when students suddenly have a much heavier workload. The response from those who commented included, rather surprisingly, a segment of enthusiastic "we hope so" answers. One said they would never write a troll essay in a video game, though some said that's exactly what they would love to do. Another also saw the more humorous implications of classwork in games.

Excited to discover who made it onto the FIFA 23 Heroes list? FUT Heroes are a special group of players that left a lasting impression on their league with their extraordinary talents. These players share a number of similarities with FIFA 23 Icons, however, there are plenty of key differences that you need to be aware of before signing your own Hero.

FIFA 23 Heroes tend to feature lower stats compared to Icons, and they don't have the same level of freedom that Icon cards do when it comes to slotting into teams. You need to pair Heroes up with players from their respective league or nation in order to obtain max chemistry, whereas Icons can fit into any team without facing restrictions. Here's a list of confirmed players joining the FIFA 23 Heroes list.

Genshin Impact is the most tweeted about game so far in 2022

Every year, you can count on a few games being well-received on release, or sudden spikes in popularity for older titles that, in turn, mean they blow up on Twitter. Games like Elden Ring and Wordle certainly fit that description this year, but it turns out that Genshin Impact is actually the most tweeted about game in 2022 up to this point.

According to data released in a blog post by Rishi Chadha – Twitter's Global Head of Creator and Gaming Content Partnerships – Genshin Impact is sitting at number one, with Wordle in second and Elden Ring in seventh place, which may come as a bit of a shock given the fact that discourse around the FromSoftware game seemed inescapable at one point.

The data counts tweets from January 1 all the way up to June 30 and covers the approximately 1.5 billion tweets made about gaming on the social media platform during that time frame. And, for those who are curious, Chadha does rank the rest of the most tweeted about games in a top 10 list. Here's the complete list in an image taken directly from the post:

Is FIFA 23 crossplay or cross-platform?

Excited about FIFA 23 crossplay? After years of waiting, FIFA 23 is finally going to support cross-platform play at launch. EA has been hesitant to add this must-requested feature to their sports games, but this is the year everything changes. EA ran a FIFA 22 crossplay functionality test back in May, giving current generation console owners the chance to play against a new set of opponents.

EA's FIFA 22 crossplay test was a taste of what's to come, setting the stage to introduce FIFA 23 crossplay to players later this year. FIFA's crossplay support doesn't end there, as there's also information about a shared transfer market across specific platforms.

The best Lost Ark Arcanist build for PvP and PvE

Looking for the best Lost Ark Arcanist builds for PvP and PvE? We've done some digging into the MMORPG's Mage Advanced Class, which arrived as part of the Spells in Spades update. If you're a fan of magic-users, you may already be familiar with the Sorceress and Bard, but the best Arcanist builds bring an exciting new level of unpredictability to combat thanks to her Card Deck.

You can unlock this Lost Ark class once your Mage reaches level ten. However, you can't change your Advanced Class, so you need to level up a new character to test out this subclass. It's worth it though, as the Arcanist's unique powers make for interesting gameplay, from hurling her sharp-edged, Magick-infused cards at enemies, to activating randomised powers. While the following Lost Ark Arcanist builds are great for the powerful attacker, she doesn't have the best survivability, so use Engravings to improve your survivability where possible.

How to change class in Diablo Immortal

Want to know how the Diablo Immortal change class system works? Before Activision Blizzard introduced this new feature, players had to complete the RPG game with multiple character slots if they wanted to experiment with all available classes. This involved repeating the same dungeons just to get to the endgame and participate in the Diablo Immortal Shadow War events. In previous Diablo games, you had a stash to swap exclusive gear, which only eliminates part of this tedious problem.

However, with the new Diablo Immortal change class system, you only need one character on the go rather than a full roster. Not only do you keep your progress, but the first time that character transforms, they get equivalent gear. This substantially cuts the time needed to complete the game, leaving your newly altered adventurer free to delve into endgame dungeons.

Konami party game Bail or Jail is cartoon Dead by Daylight

Konami has a new horror game on Steam, and it's not quite what you'd expect - Bail or Jail is an asymmetrical multiplayer party game that brings Halloween to the Steam store in July. Previously released on Nintendo Switch under the name Obakeidoro, Bail or Jail is a very cutesy take on the Dead by Daylight formula that pits one monster against a team of humans trying to stay out of their clutches.

Bail or Jail, developed by Free Style Inc, is based on the Japanese childrens' game keidoro, which is probably best known in the west by names such as 'cops and robbers' or 'manhunt.' Described as a "three minute tag battle with extra twists," the human team must avoid capture by the monster player while they attempt to nab everyone and lock them in jail.

Matches are three-on-one, and much like Dead by Daylight there are a selection of monsters that players can choose from, each with their own unique abilities, such as being able to slip through walls or tracking player footprints. Humans, on the other hand, have lanterns that can be used in an emergency to stun the monster.

Saints Row 2022 is a mix of arcade chaos and modern anxiety

Saints Row 2022 might have a fresh face and a very modern set of anxieties driving its narrative, but its open-world arcade chaos and penchant for outrageous set pieces feels unmistakably like the Saints games of old. It doesn't break any new ground, but the new Saints Row feels like a delightful return to the form of 3 and 4, following Volition's misstep with Agents of Mayhem.

A short way into my four hour hands-on, my customised Boss character - a bright purple woman with lizard eyes, a fauxhawk, and a deep southern accent - is in trouble. Sprawled out on a bridge and surrounded by cops, she glances into the distance and smirks as her ride-or-die buddy Neenah comes roaring down the road in a bright yellow muscle car. What follows is a stunt so gloriously silly that it makes Fast & Furious look realistic - but, in true Saints Row style, it works like a charm.

"You said you didn't want to risk your car," chirps my character as she hops into the passenger seat. "I said I didn't want to risk it for rent," Neenah replies with a grin, "I'd risk anything for you dummies." It's a moment that encapsulates the reboot's new cast perfectly - an over-the-top, modern-day millennial crew whose love for one another is immediate and inarguable, but who are also a group grappling with the mundane anxieties of contemporary adult life.

Where to find Fortnite Baller vehicles

Want to know where you can find the Fortnite Baller? As part of the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 update for the long-running battle royale game, the island has transformed from a warzone to a massive blowout party, with DJ sets and magical trees that spread Fortnite reality seeds.

The islanders built one of this season's new named areas on top of the ruins of Command Cavern, the former headquarters of the Imagined Order. Now known as Rave Cave, this area hosts a music festival, complete with a rollercoaster that you can ride thanks to the return of the Fortnite Baller. This is essentially a zorb ball with a plunger that you can use to swing across the map, similar to the web-slingers from the beginning of Chapter 3.

The only real difference between this vehicle and the previous version of the Baller is that there is now a battery meter, and you stop moving when this runs out. Using the plunger to latch onto objects and pressing space to give yourself a boost both deplete the meter faster, so keep an eye on how much power you have left as you swing across the map.

Alice O's excellent Tour de Jeux words - which see her celebrate cycling in games and real life alongside the ongoing Tour De France - got me thinking about the sorts of exercise that take up a good chunk of my spare time. That guy who believes Gears Of War and badminton have more in common than you might think, and reckon Gears is the closest thing we'll get to a proper badminton game.

Badminton aside, running is another pastime that's become dearer to me over the last few years. And that's a universally understood form of exercise, right? Especially when compared to the likes of badminton. So, why are there no proper games about running? I'd like one.

After four hours with Saints Row, it's funny being back in the present. I have a gaming PC! Bills to pay! A smartphone that recognises my face! Grey hairs! I say all this because Saints Row - not to be confused with Saints Row yet also to be confused with Saints Row - whisked me back to the early 2000s, when I was but a naïve teenager whose life largely pivoted around their Xbox 360. A time when Saints Row and Saints Row 2 were lighthearted Grand Theft Auto alternatives, then Saints Row: The Third came along and cranked up the silliness, and then Saints Row 4 grabbed the lever and cranked it so hard it snapped. So, yes, this year's Saints Row reboot is technically Saints Row 5, except it's more of a careful reboot. Where does it really sit on the timeline? At both ends, I reckon.

Bring Arts Cloud Strife

As promised by its President, Square Enix has stepped a bit further into its plans to explore NFTs, cryptocurrency, and blockchain-related technologies. While the company previously sold NFTs of relatively obscure properties like Million Arthur, the newest move incorporates one of its most beloved brands: Final Fantasy. A new figure, the Bring Arts Cloud Strife, includes NFTs with every purchase.

Debuting on the Square Enix store, Bring Arts Cloud Strife is a new Final Fantasy VII-based action figure. Unlike other Cloud Strife figures, this new Bring Arts Cloud Strife is directly patterned after the character's appearance in Final Fantasy VII. Cloud's face and hair have a more anime-like appearance and simpler shapes. His clothes are brighter, and the accessories chunkier than the more realistically-sized version seen in FFVII Remake.

Check out some pictures of the figure in the gallery.

[gallery columns="4" ids="932483,932484,932485,932486" link="file"]

As a value-add for cryptocurrency enthusiasts (and a value-subtract for crypto skeptics), all purchases of the figure include an NFT-based "digital certificate of authenticity". This certificate is a token registered on a blockchain operated by Enjin, a service partnering with Square Enix to create NFT collectibles based on Final Fantasy. A more expensive "Digital Plus" version of the figure includes two NFTs: The certificate, and a "digital version of the figure". Buyers will need a special app that gives them an Enjin-managed cryptocurrency "wallet". Given the volatility of pretty much every blockchain product, Square Enix's product page for the figure includes a warning that buyers may lose access to both NFTs in the event that Enjin disappears.

The Bring Arts Cloud Strife figure isn't the first time a physical product has been paired with an NFT. In June, American car maker Chevrolet attempted to auction off an NFT of the Corvette Z06 that also came with a "free" actual car in the same color. The auction closed with zero bids.

Bring Arts Cloud Strife is available for pre-order with an expected November 2023 release date. The standard figure (with 1 NFT) costs $129.99 USD. The "digital plus" edition (with 2 NFTs) costs $159.99 USD.

live a live review siliconera

Live A Live, developed by Square Enix and published by Nintendo, is a JRPG variety pack. In both its original and remade forms, it offers a collection of digestible tales, each enjoyable in a few hours. It shows a new, valuable use for the "HD-2D" approach, and in many ways sets a template for future remakes. And yet? It's still very much its own peculiar thing as well.

Prehistory

In this tale, you play the rule of a rather rude little cave boy, using smell to navigate and generally trying to accomplish tasks and communicate without language. Instead of text, this chapter uses images, grunts and gestures to tell you things, and it's intentionally a bit tough. It adds to the atmosphere, certainly, but it's also one you probably don't want to play first as you learn how the game does things. But hey, you could play chronologically and run into it first, we suppose!

The Prehistory chapter makes it especially apparent, but the whole game is largely steered by the minimap and its orange dot. This is a game that would be largely aimless without it, as it doesn't always explain what you need to do next in any other fashion. And it's a clear upgrade from the Super Famicom original, which really extended its game time by making players fumble around. Of course, now? Now it does feel like it's guiding you perhaps to a fault.

live a live prehistory

Imperial China

Live A Live's Imperial China chapter has you preserve an ancient martial art by finding and training a successor. You get a lot of choice here on who you favor, and then you have an opportunity to put them to the test. It's the most direct way to shape battle stats, along with collecting and equipping weapons and accessories.

Like the chapter's master, the Live A Live remake seeks to preserve the past but also bring it into the modern era. Even with the "HD-2D" approach, the worlds contain a lot more detail. Characters use the higher-resolution battle screen looks in the overworld, rather than scrunched chibi forms, and that holds together better than switching styles back and forth like the 16-bit game was forced to do. It's one of those "looks like you remember it, not like it actually was" sorts of approaches that's very easy to suggest and profoundly difficult to actually accomplish.

imperial china combat super famicom

Twilight of Edo Japan

The Edo chapter is, in its entirety, an optional stealth mission. It's tough to make it through without killing anyone, but expert players will probably love that challenge. For the rest of us? The game regularly guilts you for your actions, keeping a tally of your kills as you go. Of course, you could go the other direction, too, and find all 100 foes and fell them all.

Whichever path you choose, Live A Live's Edo chapter is about learning the space. The map is intentionally vague, the sort of thing you'd have if you were an enemy faction and observed from afar. While they've seen huge visual upgrades, the environments are largely as designed in the original game. All the hidden passages, tricks and disorienting stairwells are here, clearly having the intended effect.

The Wild West

This is a fairly straightforward chapter. You get into town and get some atmosphere and exposition, then you scrounge around all the buildings for stuff and hand them to townsfolk to prepare as traps. We didn't find this particularly difficult, though we're sure there's some "ideal" configuration of who does what that we didn't quite hit. The better you do, the easier the fight against the rival gang. There's no leveling here, so it's a straightforward puzzle.

Much like the denizens of the Wild West, Live A Live is venturing Westward for the first time. The localization feels loving and full of energy, unafraid to get straight to the point or drop an expletive or two. It's fascinating to see a game from that era that isn't beholden to the character limits or marketing choices of that time in the name of preserving nostalgia. In that respect, it has a leg up over its peers in terms of attracting new players in 2022.

the wild west saloon in this game looks nice

Present Day

This is by far the shortest chapter in Live A Live, offering a fighting game approach with no real story sequences. You need to defeat six opponents using the same turn-based combat, and your character learns moves by being hit with them. As long as you go in order and learn as you go, you'll usually have a great counter to your next opponent.

As for the battle system itself? It's a small tactical grid, each instanced with no health or effects carried over. There are easier chapters to learn it, but it's clearly the focus of this fighting tale. The main thing to learn is how to position yourself to avoid enemies' strongest attacks, and when you can find a moment to use a healing skill or item. Area effects are a dominant strategy for most fights, but if you get too reliant upon them, strong bosses might throw you for a loop.

live a live fighter select screen

The Near Future

Feeling the most like a self-contained JRPG of the era, the Near Future chapter is about an orphanage and mind reading and robots and biker gangs and… you know, it's a whole mess, honestly. There are some truly tedious and annoying gameplay segments in this one, which the remake does smooth over sometimes with its navigation help? Nevertheless, we don't like 'em at all.

Speaking of the near future: if we see more classic remasters in the "HD-2D" format, we hope it'll follow Live A Live's template. Previous games in the style had the benefit of being entirely original creations, which is easier to do. Having to deal with the original aesthetic and work around it can be a bit tougher, and we're generally fans of how this game tackles those difficulties.

live a live review siliconera

The Distant Future

Since you can play the chapters in any order, we recommend Distant Future for when you most need a good change of pace. Featuring largely no combat and being mostly about interacting with doors and running away from danger, it's very much unlike the other eras. You can feel the ambition of the storytelling in this one, too. It doesn't quite have the time or resources to reach its goals, but it does enough to be worth your time.

Generally, Live A Live is about building colorful worlds to visit for a few hours. They feel a bit like B-movies, with a narrative that might have been impressive for an early-'90s JRPG but not exactly profound or innovative. They revel in genre tropes, but with a genuine enthusiasm that's hard to dislike.

live a live distant future cube

The Endgame

We won't spoil the game's later plot points — this is a game about its story — but things eventually come to a head in a final chapter, combining the protagonists of different eras into something with more traditional party management and a final boss. It's interesting to interact with these different styles in one party. Seeing characters like robot Cube actually show up in combat alongside those with much more martial prowess can be amusing, for sure.

It's here where the game gives you room to pad out your game time, depending on how much you want to maximize levels and get the best ending. The storytelling gets fully out of the way, offering something very different from what came before.

near future overworld city map

Live A Live is a success, both as a self-contained remake of a quirky cult classic and as a prototype for the future of JRPG remakes. Its weaknesses are those of the preserved original's game design, but it makes these sacrifices intentionally and has a lot to offer those interested in its pace and structure.

Live A Live, developed by Square Enix and published by Nintendo, will launch July 22, 2022 on the Nintendo Switch. A demo is also available, allowing players to try parts of three chapters.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Anomaly Armor

Capcom revealed some of the planned content coming with the first free title update for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. Specifically, Capcom plans to add a new armor upgrade system as part of the endgame Anomaly Research quests. The new armor upgrade system will allow players to further strengthen their armor sets by adding new skills and modifying elemental resistance stats.

Editor's Note: Minor Spoilers for the ending and post-game content for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Once players defeat the final boss of the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion, a series of new quests will be unlocked. These Anomaly Research Quests pit hunters against stronger Afflicted variants of previous monsters. Completing these quests allows hunters to collect Anomaly Tickets, which were previously limited to crafting the game's strongest weapons.

That is set to change with the next free title update. Two new posts from the Monster Hunter Twitter accounts reveal that Capcom will add a new mechanic it calls Qurious Crafting. Included images indicate that Qurious Crafting will allow for greater improvement to existing armor. Unlike standard Armor Sphere upgrades, however, Qurious Crafting will augment each armor piece's resistance stats, and could even add new skills.

https://twitter.com/monsterhunter/status/1549703533058039808?s=20&t=LOPjjq4BxOxGWkIvWpAf5g

Notably, the augmentations posted on the Japanese and English Twitter accounts differ in stats. This likely indicates an element of randomness to the augmentations, in a similar fashion to Talisman Melding. Both posts also note that Qurious Crafting will utilize "new materials" that will be added with the upcoming update.

You can get a better look at each Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Anomaly armor augmentation in the screenshots below:

Last month, Capcom revealed that the first free title update after the release of the Sunbreak expansion would arrive in August 2022. Alongside the new armor upgrade mechanic, the title update will also add Lucent Nargacuga, a new Forlorn Arena area, and various new monster species.

Monster Hunter Rise and the Sunbreak expansion are available on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The first free title update will arrive sometime in August 2022.

shokugeki no sanji

Shueisha will compile six chapters of Shokugeki no Sanji into a tankobon that will come out on August 4, 2022. The trio behind Shokugeki no Soma, or Food Wars, worked on the book. It is unknown if more chapters will appear in the future. Yuto Tsukuda wrote the story, Shun Saeki provided illustrations, and Yuki Morisaki contributed recipes.

https://twitter.com/Eiichiro_Staff/status/1549227645124022274

Chapters take place within the One Piece canon timeline, with some familiar faces making cameos. They originally appeared as one-shots, with the first having appeared in 2018. Chapters would release in Weekly Shonen Jump alongside new chapters of the actual One Piece manga.

Shokugeki no Sanji will have 234 pages and will cost 506 JPY, which is approximately $3.70. It is currently unclear if an English publisher will license the book for localization. There will also be a digital version of the book in Japanese, which will also come out on August 4, 2022.

Though there has been no recent One Piece news that focuses solely on Sanji, he will be present in the upcoming projects for the franchise. Taz Skylar will portray him in the live-action adaptation that is still in development. He will have a new outfit for the One Piece Film Red movie coming out on August 6, 2022, and he will also appear in One Piece Odyssey.

Shokugeki no Sanji will come out on August 4, 2022, in Japan.

endling extinction is forever

With the release of Endling: Extinction is Forever on July 19, 2022, HandyGames uploaded an animated release trailer to the company's YouTube channel. The trailer is just over a minute long and gives an idea of what the game is about, as well as the general atmosphere and theme.

Endling places the player in the shoes (paws?) of a mother fox. The last mother fox on Earth, in fact. You have three cubs that you need to protect, care for, and teach in order for them to survive. Due to the hostile environment, you must also keep them safe from natural and man-made enemies However, you only have a limited amount of time to do so each day before things become too dangerous. Losing the litter could spell extinction for the species. As you raise the cubs and teach them lessons, they can learn new skills and develop distinct personalities. Some of them may have certain preferences and fears you must work around.

Since the reason behind the world's state is pollution as a result of human activities, the game has an eco-conscious message. This game is the first from its developer, Herobeat Studios. The website, as well as sales pages for Endling, also note that environmentalism is what the game is ultimately about.

You can watch the release trailer here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZY0Gw70gzU

Nintendo first unveiled Endling: Extinction is Forever during its Nintendo Indie Showcase in December 2021. At the time, the game was supposed to have come out in Spring 2022. Other games with a Summer 2022 release window from the Indie Showcase include Afterlove EP, Loco Motive, and River City Girls 2.

Endling: Extinction is Forever is available on the Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. For Windows PC, it is available through Steam and Epic Games.

Runescape Jagex Acquires Pipeworks Studios Solak Boss FightJagex has acquired Pipeworks Studios, making this the first major investment in the RuneScape developer's 23-year history. The cost of the acquisition has not been confirmed but it likely wasn't cheap. The Sumo Group previously acquired Pipeworks Studios in 2020 for $100 million. Pipeworks Studios is a developer based in Eugene, Oregon best known for co-development. The developer has experience with bringing games to other platforms, with it being responsible for porting Terraria to various consoles.   The acquisition of Pipeworks Studios is a bold change in approach for Jagex. As a developer, it has always focused on maintaining RuneScape above all else. Jagex has made some efforts in the past to expand, but these have all fallen short. None were as daring as this, though. Jagex CEO Phil Mansell is clearly excited about the move. He describes the acquisition as an "incredible opportunity to bring onboard world-class game development talent." Mansell also h...

Fifa 23 Pc Version Will Be Next Gen Ultimate Team Cross PlayThe reveal of FIFA 23 was not expected to be something PC gamers needed to look forward to. After all, when it comes to sports games we usually get the worst deal. However, EA has surprised everyone. Along with the announcement of cross-play, EA also confirmed that FIFA 23 on PC will be the next-gen version of the game. The past two PC installments of FIFA have been the last-gen versions. PC gamers received both a worse-looking product and a game without all of the promoted new features. This is no longer the case, with FIFA 23 supporting EA's new state-of-the-art animation engine, Hypermotion 2, on PC.   Past versions of FIFA were held back on PC, so why the change in heart? A part of it is likely because FIFA 23 is the first in the series to support cross-play. Players on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia, and PC will be able to go head to head on Ultimate Team. However, the markets for PC and consoles will remain separate. Other game modes such as Pro Clubs will ...

Multiversus Closed Alpha Evo 2022 Feat skins cosmetics costThe cost of a free-to-play game is secretly pretty high, depending on who you are. Fortunately, while MultiVersus' unlockable content system should be quite reasonable (new characters and perks), those who wish to bling out their characters with skins will have to pull out their wallet. That's not a huge complaint — as long as the game doesn't cross into the realm of pay to win, I'm completely fine. But getting all of the cosmetics in MultiVersus will cost you some money. In MultiVersus' latest trailer, WB Games revealed how players will be able to unlock new characters for their roster. Similar to other free-to-play games, characters cycle through a free rotation, allowing you to try out some fighters for free at any given time. You can also try out each character in the training mode for free.      Minecraft NFTs field beesAccording to a blog post on the official Minecraft website, developer Mojang has received a fair few comments from fans asking about its stance on NFTs and the blockchain. It makes sense to ask these questions; considering Minecraft's emphasis on user-generated content, it would not come as a surprise if Mojang felt tempted to allow the selling of this content and join in on other companies' race toward the bottom. Thankfully, the same blog post confirms that Mojang does not support or permit the incorporation of NFTs into Minecraft. Currently, the Minecraft Usage Guidelines allow players to charge others who wish to join their servers, but otherwise give all players "access to the same functionality" and content. Mojang stated that NFTs would not fall in line with these guidelines. Their imposed scarcity would exclude many players from accessing this content and interfere with "the spirit of Minecraft."   To ensure that Minecraft players ...
