In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4's latest trailer, in which an entire nerd cave's worth of miniatures spanning all four in-game factions are gibbed, gutted and burned in about 90 seconds.

Somewhat to my surprise, this is the first time I've watched a Warhammer videogame and tried to calculate the bodycount in terms of tabletop figurine prices. My pen-and-paper estimates are profoundly upsetting, and that was before I looked at Games Workshop's current catalogue - I think for the first time since 1999 - and adjusted my figures for inflation. Do any of you play physical Warhammer tabletop games right now? How does that balance out, exactly? Do you just sort of... not buy food?

Based on time of day and year, global fertility rates, and our own secret, illegal research into RPS supporter breeding patterns, I calculate that there's a 12% chance you are reading this while carrying or cradling a small child. If that's the case, then: what on Earth are you doing here? We post all kinds of awful grown-up things on RPS. Remember when you were young, and had your first crush? All of a sudden your hormones are going nuts, and here's this person you can't think about without your face contorting into a goofy smile, or talk about without bashfully giggling. Well, it seems that's how part-time Gearbox exec and full-time social media poster Randall Steward Pitchford II feels about Borderlands 4's freshly revealed first DLC Vault Hunter.

It's understandable to be fair. Which of us hasn't found ourselves gazing longingly at a former casino robot dressed like a goth version of John Wayne, before volunteering to help animate its card-throwing? Sometimes, C4SH rules not just everything around you, but your very heart.

May Horace save and protect you, my fellow Metamedia Sorcerers, for I come with bad tidings. We are entering a news-lull. While there are some curious, possibly even attention-worthy PC games out this week, none of them are Big. None of them have that triple, quadruple or even quintuple-A bullshit frosting the Maw so delights to batten upon. Last week gave us Tokyo Game Show, a time of relative bounty, but this week, there is a dearth of obvious headline material, and the Creature is already showing signs of discontent.

It's been over half a year since Fallout: London developers Team FOLON announced that it'd be getting three bits of DLC adding new quests to post-apocalyptic Blighty. The folks behind the massive mod have been relatively quiet in that time, but they've now confirmed that the first of these DLCs, Rabbit and Pork, will require you to start a fresh save game.

Also, one reason it hasn't arrived already is that the team have been working to ensure other quest add-ons won't force you to go back to square one, whenever they drop.

Update: Well, that escalated quickly. Following rumours over the weekend, EA have confirmed that an investor consortium consisting of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, equity firm Silver Lake, and Jared Kushner's Affinity Partners have acquired the Battlefield 6 publisher in an all-cash transaction that values EA at around $55 billion. The consortium will buy 100% of EA and take it private, with the PIF rolling in their existing 9.9% stake in the publisher.

EA have put out a press release featuring various hyperbolic remarks from the likes of EA CEO Andrew Wilson, who will stay on in his position. EA will also continue to be based in Redwood City, California. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027 - in other words, at some point between January and March, once it has been granted the usual regulatory approvals and voted through by EA's shareholders.

As has been the case with all of Hollow Knight: Silksong's sizeable updates this far, Team Cherry have put out some tweaks as a Steam beta shot to the upcoming patch three's chaser. As of now, opting into playtesting this "interim update" offers some extra controller support and fixes, but the devs say more'll be added before the full patch goes live to everyone.

In case you need a refesher, the metroidvania's first patch made a couple of its early bosses a bit easier. Meanwhile, its second patch didn't do any balancing, but did bring handy fixes to problems like the Savage Beastfly boss cheekily hiding below some lava.

Club Ironmouse Concert Features Hololive and Former VShojo Vtubers

Ironmouse will hold a "Club Ironmouse" concert at PARQ Nightclub in San Diego, California on October 16, 2025, and she confirmed on social media that both former VShojo Vtubers and active Hololive members will perform at the event. Seven of the eight main guests are confirmed, and there will also be pre-show guests. She also confirmed that, while only the physical concert tickets are available now, there will be a PPV VOD option for those who won't be in the area or attending TwitchCon.

In terms of former VShojo Vtubers who will join Ironmouse for the concert, Henya the Genius, Kuro, and Michi Mochivee will all be present. So will Bubi, who often appeared along Ironmouse in a sidekick role for streams and performances. It is possible more could be present, as there is still one mystery performer for the main concert and there will be over 10 people present during the pre-show.

As for the Hololive Vtubers who will sing alongside Ironmouse, only members from the English branch are confirmed. Calliope Mori, Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame, and Nerissa Ravencroft are confirmed.

There's a teaser trailer for the show too. It only shows hints of Ironmouse and Bubi, however.

Windows 10 Support Ending for 3 Monster Hunter Games

Capcom announced via Steam that it will be ending Windows 10 PC support for three Monster Hunter games due to Microsoft ending support for that version of the operating system. The three games affected are the mainline titles Monster Hunter Rise, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Monster Hunter World. Both Monster Hunter Stories games won't be hit by this, as there are no notices on pages for either one. Everything gets cut off on October 14, 2025.

This doesn't mean all three Monster Hunter games will be immediately unplayable on Windows 10 systems. Rather, Capcom sounded an alert that they could start no longer working after that date. This is because future updates will be geared toward OS such as Windows 11 and beyond. As such, as long as you don't update the games, you should have no problem playing them on older PCs past the time support ends.

This appeared alongside a Monster Hunter Wilds video and graphics drivers alert. Capcom noted some people are experiencing issues with certain graphic cards. As such, it told people to make sure they are at AMD Radeon Series 25.2.1 or later and NVIDIA GeForce Series 580.88 or better.

Monster Hunter World is on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Monster Hunter Rise is on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, Monster Hunter Wilds is on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and Windows 10 PC support for all three games ends on October 14, 2025.

2.3 Zenless Zone Zero Characters Lucia and Yidhari Launch in October

More Spook Shack faction characters will join Zenless Zone Zero in October 2025, with Lucia, Yidhari, and Komano Manato all launching after the 2.3 update starts on October 15, 2025. Manato will be the A-Rank Agent, and both he and his costume can be earned for free. Lucia annd Yidhari are the S-Rank units.

The whole of the missions in 2.3 focus on continuing the whole Spook Shack faction storyline and highlighting its characters. The main story is "Memories of Dreams Bygone," which continues Season 2. Going through it is how you get Komano Manato's White Heart Silhouette costume. The free version of him is tied to the new "When Dreams Remain Unfinished" event. And we can learn more about Lucia with "The Inverted Night Lantern."

As for the characters, we will see the new Lucia banner and returning Vivian one on October 15, 2025, with Komano Manato as one of the A-Rank agents on both. Lucia is an Ether Support, and her new W-Engine is called Dreamlit Hearth. Vivian's outfit is called Iris of the Shore and, while it will eventually cost money, it can be earned through actions in 2.3 and 2.4. Halfway through the update, the S-Rank Yidhari and Ju Fufu Signal Searches start. Yidhari is an Ice Rupture Agent whose signature W-Engine is Kraken's Cradle.

Here's the trailer for this update:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSsx7hMlReY

There's also a teaser trailer for six more Zenless Zone Zero characters named Banyue, Dialyn, Lucia, Ye Shunguang, Yidhari, and Zhao. We don't get to hear their voices in that footage, but we do get to see how they all look in-game.

Review: Hades 2 Is Even Better Than the Original Game

Considering Hades ended up being a triumph and Hades 2 is even better, I'm not even sure what sorts of superlatives to use to convey how incredible this new game is. Perhaps I should say it is the sort of pinnacle we only reach once every five years? That would cover the 2020 original and acknowledge Supergiant Games' Transistor, which released in 2014, too. Maybe I say it is genre-defining, since it does set new standards for roguelikes. But perhaps the best way to put it is come right out and say that Hades 2 is a perfect game. It's definitely a Switch 2 highlight.

Years ago, the titan Chronos broke free of his imprisonment and started his assault on his children, the Olympian gods, by capturing Hades, freezing Zagreus, Persephone, and other inhabitants of the underworld, and taking the throne in Tartarus. The Titaness Hecate managed to save three things and escape as he did. She grabbed Melinoe, the infant daughter of Hades and Persephone, the now constantly slumbering god of sleep Hypnos, and a picture of Tartarus' royal family. Hecate spent years purposely training Melinoe to fight back, while also maintaining the Crossroads as something of a hidden base for a rebellion that consists of Nyx's children like Nemesis, legendary dead heroes like Odysseus, and other icons of Greek mythology as she faces Chronos' forces both above and below as she heads toward Tartarus and Olympus.

The set-up alone should help indicate one of the reasons why Hades 2 is not only Hades' equal, but surpasses its predecessor. We're taking on challenges on two fronts. Supergiants sends us first down towards Tartarus, going through the distinct regions of Erebus, Oceanus, and the Fields of Mourning before a return to Tartarus and the House of Hades. Once we get established and take on a few runs, natural dialogue and events are woven in that provide an opportunity to craft an Incantation that allows us to head up to support Olympus in their fight by going through the City of Ephyra, Rift of Thessaly, and Mount Olympus. Each biome feels unique. Not only that, but there are mechanics that makes exploring them feel unusual as well. Erebus is a more traditional area like one we'd see in Hades. The Fields of Mourning is a more open-ended space, with penalties when taking rewards and golden leaves and trees to follow. The City of Ephyra sends us to different locations in it to unlock a path forward. It feels more diverse and mechanically interesting than the original game, rewarding us for exploring.

Preparing Melinoe for each run also made me feel like I had a greater degree of control over each run in Hades 2, while still offering the suspense and sense of chance found in the first game. There are so many things we can do now before heading out on a run, unlocking each them of course. There are six weapons to acquire, with the Witch's Staff available outright. Each has their own primary Attacks and Specials along with standard Cast to hold foes, as well as Omega Moves that tap into Melinoe's magic to empower and offer additional assault options. These can eventually be enhanced after a Cauldron upgrade. We get Keepsakes by giving Nectar to gods and primary allies, which offer certain buffs or boosts going into each night and, after a Cauldron upgrade, can be swapped at spaces between regions. We choose Arcana Cards for each run, to add additional effects, and can equip more as we invest, unlock, and increase Melinoe's Grasp with Psyche. We even can unlock a Familiar at the Cauldron, choosing between different animals like Frinos the toad or Raki the raven, with each one offering an ingredient gathering and combat-related bonus.

Once you go out on a run either to Tartarus or Olympus, Hades 2 follows the same sort of progression as Hades, though I find the pacing, challenge, and diversity feels a bit more engaging. In each room, Melinoe can get some sort of bonus like a Boon from the gods that affects her abilities, materials, a boost in power for her weapons, Nectar, an opportunity to shop at Charon, or an interaction from an NPC that could aid you on your journey. Enemies that spawn gradually get more challenging, and a miniboss can even appear before the main guardian for each area. Doors are very clearly telegraphed this time, which I love, so you can see if there will be a gathering spot or miniboss in addition to the reward from choosing that path. I love the diversity in opponents, and there are even a few of the minibosses that feel as well-executed and personality-filled as the major foes. (Especially Uh-Oh.) And given some fights can change based on team-ups, it adds even more diversity. It also runs flawlessly on the Switch 2 with no lag, even in handheld mode.

I love how Boons themselves feel more diverse and versatile in Hades 2. You can trigger certain ones more frequently with Keepsakes, which is great. But even better is how the Elements can affect performance or the way some work and the potential Duos. It encourages experimentation in a way I didn't expect. Like I always had certain weapon and Boon combinations I enjoyed in Hades, which would lead to attempting to work toward certain builds. In Hades 2, I feel far more willing to experiment due to the potential for Infusions and Duos. There are so many combinations I didn't consider and opportunities to do something now. It's exhilarating. Even if I fail on a run, I feel so happy to have gained not only materials to help with the next one, but the experience getting to try new things.

While a lot of why I believe Hades 2 is even stronger and better than the original game has to do with gameplay and design decisions, I think Supergiant also did a better job with the characterization and narrative this time around too. Melinoe and her situation's contrast to Zagreus' is very well executed, since it's still a story about family and reunification. We clearly see how her experiences shaped her, and some narrative choices that offer insights into the past help enhance our experiences in the present. Chronos is a fantastic villain. The new allies and enemies draw upon Grecian myths in wonderful ways, and we get to see the conflicts that stem from not everyone being fans of the Olympians and their choices. Likewise, because this is a sequel, we get more out of encounters with both new and returning gods due to Zagreus' experiences with them. Not to mention the art direction is still amazing.

I'm going to keep it simple here and say Hades 2 is a game you need to play. It is that good. It is worth it. You will regret it if you don't give it a chance and support a developer like Supergiant that consistently gives us meaningful, well-designed, memorable, and most importantly fun games.

Hades 2 is available on the Switch, Switch 2, and PC

Preview of a tier list of all races in Nethros Roblox experience.

Having the best Race available in Nethros can provide you with a significant advantage both in PvE and PvP. Now, as Races greatly differ from one another, and changing them is difficult, we prepared the following Nethros Race tier list to help you look only for the best ones when creating a new character.

Nethros Race Tier List

Nethros Race Tier List

META RACES

S
Taurin
Geonite
GOOD RACES

A
Primalis
Weaver
Draconic
Seraphim
MID RACES

B
Ashkin
Human

In the above tier list, we ranked all Races in Nethros based on how good they are both for PvE and PvP overall. For the most part, bonuses given by Races are not that significant, but they can be impactful. For example, Draconic grants you a unique fire/flame damage buff that is amazing for specific builds. Still, Taurin and Geonite are the two you want to look out for, as both Races add an amazing defensive layer to your character.

List of Nethros Races

A player showing how to check the fated virtue of a race in the Nethros Roblox experience.
You can check the Fated Virtue granted by your Race in the Virtues section during character creation, and in the TAB menu while on a server.

Below, you can check out the bonuses and the rarity of each Race in Nethros. We also included some pros and cons for each Race to give some context behind our tier list. The rarity chances of each Race are based on the actual chance of getting them when creating a new character.

Race Race Virtue Bonuses Pros & Cons
Human
( 23.2%)
When your HP drops below 15%, all of your cooldowns are reset.
+ Decent Race ability that can come in clutch in certain scenarios
The worst Race overall in Nethros
Taurin
( 23.2%)
When knocked over, getting hit doesn't reset the time it takes you to get back up.
Being parried won't damage your posture.
+ Excellent Race for new players
+ Prevents you from getting stun-locked in certain situations
+ Makes getting parried not as punishing
Geonite
( 16.8%)
Upon being block broken, gain a shield that reduces the damage you take for 3 seconds (60s cooldown).
+ Grants you an amazing defensive layer
+ Prevents enemies from trying to burst you after a block break
+ Very good defensive Race overall
Primalis
( 13.6%)
You gain access to the Advanced Dash, which is an improved version of the regular dodge.
Your attacks apply bleed if you have Momentum.
+ Advanced Dash greatly improves your mobility and ability to dodge attacks
+ Being able to apply bleed is amazing both in PvE and PvP

You apply bleed only while you have Momentum
Draconic
( 11.2%)
You take 10% less flame damage, and your flame damage attacks deal more damage.
+ Very good Race for builds that use flame/fire damage

Not as universally useful as most other Races
Weaver
( 6.4%)
You gain increased climbing height and wallrun speed.
You apply poison with critical attacks (15s cooldown).
+ Increased climbing height and wallrun speed are really useful for exploring
+ You gain a reliable way of applying poison with attacks
+ Excellent Race for PvE grinding
Ashkin
( 4%)
You take much less fire damage from all sources.
+ Basically makes you overpowered when fighting enemies with fire/flame attacks

Situational usefulness makes it not so great overall
Seraphim
( 1.6%)
You gain access to Mana without having to complete the Soul Resonate quest.
While in a fight, you can temporarily see the HP bars of the enemies you are fighting.
+ Being able to see enemy HP during fights can be useful
+ Instant access to Mana saves you a bit of grinding early on

The most underwhelming Race overall, considering it is the rarest one

How to Reroll Your Race in Nethros

A player rerolling their race using Robux in the Nethros Roblox experience.
You can reroll your Race only while creating a new character.

There are two ways to reroll your Race in Nethros: using Robux to reroll it in the character creation menu and creating a new character. Each Race reroll costs 125 Robux. You can't get the same Race you currently have when rerolling, as that one is removed from the pool. Therefore, if you have a very common Race, such as Human, the chances of obtaining a rare Race are higher.

Now, if you don't want to spend Robux on rerolling your Race, you can do the classic move: wipe your character and create it again. However, this can be a bit tedious as you need to die 10 times in a row before you get sent to a heavenly domain, where you can choose to wipe your character by interacting with the NPC there. Both of the above methods can only be done during character creation. With that in mind, changing your Race in Nethros isn't possible after you finish creating a character.

That sums up our Nethros Race tier list and reroll guide. Let us know which Race you managed to get and what you think of it in the comments below. For more information about the game, make sure to check out our Nethros Trello and beginner guides as well.

Nethros Race Tier List FAQs

I got a Race that isn't on the Race list in the creation menu?

This isn't a visual bug; it's just a design choice made by the developers for your current Race not to be on the list of Races in the creation menu.

What is the rarity of my Race?

Since you can't see the rarity of your Race during character creation, the only way to find it out is by referencing our Nethros Race list or by asking on the official Nethros Discord server.

Can you change your Race after creating a character?

No, once you've finished creating a character in Nethros, you can't change your Race afterwards.

Agent 64: Spies Never Die gameplay

It will never not blow my mind that one single person can create an entire video game, and this latest "whoa" moment came to me by way of a reminder of a demo I played a few years ago.

Agent 64: Spies Never Die has been in development by solo dev Replicant D6 for several years now, and I added it to my wishlist way back in 2022 when I first played the demo and had an absolute blast with it. The dev is aiming to create a "retro homage to 90s console shooters," and I think they nailed it.

Agent 64: Spies Never Die splitscreen multiplayer
Image via Replicant D6

The latest update about Agent 64 came last week, with the dev confirming that an online playtest is coming soon and the release date is around the corner. Yeah, along with a solo campaign, this GoldenEye 007 tribute will also feature multiplayer and mod support.

Everything from the movement, to the graphic style, to the ability to free-aim while standing still looks like it was ripped out of the Nintendo 64 era (hence the main character's codename), and a ton of features have been added over the past few years.

The solo (or split-screen co-op) campaign includes 14 missions where you can complete objectives in any order, a Paradox Mode with random and silly modifiers, Contracts like time trials and other challenges, and a PvP arena where you can play against bots or other players online. It looks like a ton of fun.

"While the game is pretty much feature complete, it needs a *lot* of QA, and translations too," the dev said. "And a good dev shouldn't underestimate those things. That's where the online playtest comes into play. You guys will be able to help with the last stretch of development before release."

The dev is asking for players to sign up for the playtest, and "as soon as the online mode is ready for testing, you'll be notified and you'll be able to jump in." For now, everything is relegated to Steam.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsGxG1GPN-A

You can sign up for the multiplayer playtest on Steam right now, and I highly suggest doing so, because this looks like it may be a surprise hit for the late period of 2025.

Battlefield 6 launch trailer screenshot of random celebrities

Well, the head-to-head battle between Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 officially began in earnest this weekend. And BF6 fired the first shots with its launch trailer.

Let me begin by saying that I have no stake in this battle. I root for good games, not franchises. I've enjoyed past Battlefields, and I've enjoyed past CoDs. I've admittedly enjoyed both series a bit less as time has worn on, but I'm always going to poke around and see what the next one is like.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EunkRPRzECg

First, let me give credit where it's due: the BF6 launch trailer is hilarious. It begins with four utterly random celebrities (actor Zac Efron, country musician Morgan Wallen, NBA player Jimmy Butler, and MMA fighter Paddy Pimblett) suited up as soldiers, ready to take on the world in the game. And then they get blown to absolute smithereens by a rocket as actual soldiers walk over their gibbed remains, and "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" by Smashing Pumpkins begins to play.

The first time I saw this yesterday, I lost my shit. I laughed for a good few minutes and replayed the scene a few times. CoD has repeatedly used random, gratuitous celebrity cameos in its live-action trailers, and this trailer was directly poking fun at it.

Not only that, but the Smashing Pumpkins song was already used in an actual CoD trailer just a few years ago for Modern Warfare II's multiplayer reveal. So, yeah, this was a direct attack on CoD in the lead-up to both games releasing a little over one month away from each other.

The more I think about it, though, the more I realize how petty and how much "little brother" vibes it gives. Why acknowledge CoD at all? Shouldn't BF6 be good enough to stand on its own merit? The game's beta was a massive success, and it should dominate when it comes to sales in October. Why even mention the elephant in the room at all?

I digress in the end, though, because I think the trailer did exactly what it was aiming to do, and that's get people talking. It evokes the spirit of competitive FPS trash talk without being overtly tasteless, so I give EA and its marketing partners a lot of credit for this one. Kudos.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0YQN_O3R1g

But I also can't shake the icky feeling that this wasn't necessary, either, so I guess I'm split on how to feel about this trailer. In the end, it's irrelevant as everything depends on how the games play, but what did you think about BF6's "shots fired" moment in the big-budget AAA FPS war of 2025? Let us know in the comments below.

BF6 launches on Oct. 10, while Black Ops 7 comes out on Nov. 14, and its beta test takes place this weekend.

Players running from enemies in Megabonk

The Powerup Multiplier is one of many stats in Megabonk, and it's essential to understand how it works.

Like all stats, the Powerup Multiplier affects how your build operates on a run. However, it doesn't directly impact the effectiveness of your build. Instead, it's more about Powerups and how they operate in Megabonk.

How does the Powerup Multiplier work in Megabonk

In a nutshell, the Powerup Multiplier amplifies the effects of any Powerup that you find on your run.

Powerups are different from tomes, weapons, and items. They look like items, but they're only temporary. The effects of a Powerup usually last for a limited amount of time. The Powerup Multiplier influences this number.

Stats in Megabonk
Screenshot by Destructoid

The higher your Powerup Multiplier stat, the better the impact. If you have a Powerup that amplifies the damage, having a high value on Powerup Multiplier will cause more damage. Similarly, Powerups will last longer when the Multiplier value is high.

You can raise the Powerup Multiplier stat by using suitable items and tomes. We have a tome and item tier list to determine which ones you'll prioritize for Powerups.

I would highly recommend that everyone invest well in the Powerup Multiplier stat. Powerups work well with any build. Naturally, powering them up should work well in every situation. Do note that Powerups spawn randomly, but you can raise the frequency with Powerup Drop Chance.

We have a detailed explainer if you want to know more about what every character stat means. There are plenty of stats to master, some of which are extremely important. The sooner you understand these stats, the better you'll be able to go for a meta build.

nethros beginner's guide for progression and leveling

Nethros isn't a permadeath game so wiping is your choice alone. Still, there's a bunch of useful tips that I'll cover which will help you start strong and informed. These include all the race options, how to farm levels and weapon XP, unlock classes and more. Here's my Nethros beginner's guide.

Nethros Race and Character Creation Guide

Here's everything you need to know about character creation and races in Nethros:

  • Race: Your starting race determines your starting stat boost with values usually being +10, you get a passive ability and also you'll unlock some active abilities as you play. Check out our Nethros Race tier list for the best ones. You can reroll races with Robux.

    • Seraphim (2%): Start with mana, parrying spells refills your mana. When landing a spell 10% of the damage is converted to Lumia.
    • Ashkin (5%): Take less damage from fire.
    • Weaver (7%): Climbing height and wallrun speed increased. Critical attack poison your target.
    • Draconic (12%): Take 10% less fire damage and get an increase to fire damage attacks.
    • Geonite (18%): When you get guard broken you gain a shield to take 25% less damage for 3 seconds.
    • Primalis (15%): Get an empowered dash that's faster. Your attacks apply Bleed if you have Momentum.
    • Taurin (25%): When knocked, the time it takes for you to get back up will not be reset when you get hit so no matter how many hits you take you will always get back up after a certain amount of time. Being parried does not damage your posture.
    • Human (30%): If you fall below 15% HP, your cooldowns are reset.

  • Weapon: Weapons have slightly different movesets and ranges but you can pick your favorite here because you can switch weapons later at will. Weapons can be switched for Yins at any Weapon smith marked with the three vertical swords icon on your HUD or through crafting.
  • Faction: Heathmorne or New Avalon are you starting area choices. There isn't really a huge difference apart from the location of certain NPCs like class trainers. You can reach both areas fairly quickly later on no matter which one you choose. Choose the one your friends have chosen to party up quick or if you're playing solo pick your favorites. Heathmorne is a snow/icy area and New Avalon is filled with more greenery.

Nethros Starting Quest Guide

You'll start the game by talking to the marked NPC in your spawn building. Left Alt is shiftlock by the way. The NPC will direct you to complete mini-quests for the Gatherer, Alchemist, Miner, Ritual, Forger and Reforger which will all be marked on your map and you can press J and then go to quests for details. Here are tips for all quests:

  • Gatherer: Mushrooms are found on the ground at the surface level all over the area. Iverwood is located on the sides of trees and Moonshade are also mushrooms but found underground in the mine areas along with Gold and Silver.
  • Miner: Speaking of which you can talk to the Miner to get a pickaxe and then go down to the mines where Gold and Silver ore deposits are plentiful to mine some. Check out my wall climbing guide blow for parkour tips to maneuver to and out of the mine.
  • Ritual: This quest is simple as you just need to use the chalk and create a Respite ritual. Resting via these crystals or beds and hitting M is how you learn skills. More on that below.
  • Alchemist: This is a bit of a weird one but essentially it works by you gathering 3 Iverwood for a Flux potion, 3 Mushrooms for a HP potion and 3 Moonshade for a Speed potion. You cannot interact with the brewing pot by itself, instead, you have to equip whichever of the ingredients above and then press E to interact to place three of the same in the pot. The pot has room for 3 ingredients at a time and you can experiment and brew different potions but you'll need the three above to complete the quest.
  • Forger: For the forge quest you'll speak to the Forger NPC and receive a blueprint which you need to equip and activate. Make sure you have silver and gold. Then head to the anvil and craft the weapon you need by finishing a quick-time event minigame which you can repeat if you fail.
  • Reforger: This quest teaches you how to buff weapons but it requires Yins. Simply interact with the Blacksmith NPC, place the weapon you want to reforge and pay the Yin amount for it to get boosted.

Once you're done with all of these just go back to starting NPC to proceed.

How to Wall Jump in Nethros

Wall hopping and running is the most important mobility skill to master in Nethros since it allows you to reach any height before the Mounted Hook. Here's what you need to do:

  • Approach a vertical surface and jump on it and as soon as you touch it press Space and S (Backwards) to wall hop.
  • Then, as soon as you wall hop aim your camera up and press Space again to air dash upwards.
  • Repeat this to infinitely climb surfaces allowing you to scale walls of any height.

Make sure not to run up a wall unless you've reach the top since this will break your Wall Hop and Air dash chain and cause you to fall.

Also, you can wall run in Nethros by approaching a wall and jumping on it while aiming your camera sharp to the side you want to wall run to and holding Space. If you press Space again you'll leap off the wall in the direction of your camera. Combine this with wall hoping to scale any mountain. It just takes some practice to master.

There's no fall damage in Nethros. Also I highly recommend getting the Mounted Hook for even more mobility options.

How to Level Up and Increase Stats in Nethros

You'll get character EXP by doing quests, fighting monsters and a lot of other activities. You can check your level by pressing Tab and looking in your lower right. Below your level you'll see the available stat points you have that you can put into the different stats. Hover them to see what they do and use the plus icon to increase them.

How to Get Virtues and Skills in Nethros

nethros skills and virtues menu guide
Screenshot by Destructoid

General character skills, weapon and race abilities and special passives are all called Virtues for passives and Skills for actives in Nethros. Here's how to unlock them:

  • Resting: All Virtues are equipped by resting at any bed or resting crystal ritual and then pressing M to open the Virtue menu. Different Virtues have different prerequisites so let's take a look.
  • General Virtues: These depend on your stats so you might need 10 Vitality or 10 Might for a certain Virtue. Once you have the necessary prerequisite stats Virtues will appear in the Virtue menu when you press M during rests on the left and you can equip up to 15 of them.
  • Weapon Skills: These are displayed in the middle of the M Virtue menu via skill tree dots. Each weapon has its own skill tree and you unlock the nodes here by earning both weapon EXP from fighting and defeating PVP/PVE enemies with that weapon and spending Virtue points. Virtue points are earned by leveling and progressing the game. For example in the picture above I can learn the active skill Devastating Flurry for the Spear by spending 1 Virtue Point after having earned enough Spear weapon EXP from using it to defeat enemies.
  • Race Skills: Your race will also unlock some special abilities for you to use. You'll start with a passive from your race but will eventually unlock active abilities from your race as well.

How to Do Assignments in Nethros (Farming EXP)

After completing the starting quest you'll be prompted to go to another main location. Once you reach it and speak to the main quest NPC there you'll be tasked with retrieving a package to prove yourself. Use the Wall Hopping trick from above to finish the quest in no time at all.

From here you'll be able to go to the Assignment board where you can take Contracts and Assignments. Assignments are your main leveling tools that you can spam. To start with the Delivery one is usually faster but the Escort one allows you to fight NPCs and level up your Weapon EXP. At the end of each Assignment you'll get a chest with gear, ingredients and crafting blueprints so these are great to farm. Contracts on the other hand are quests without a Quest marker that you can complete on your own and come back to claim their rewards.

Assignments will rank you up and each new rank you'll be able to do more difficult Assignments for betters rewards. They're also great for farming Levels and Weapon EXP.

How to Get a Class in Nethros

Classes in Nethros are unlocked via the weapon skill trees when resting and pressing M. You need to reach the skill node for a certain weapon where it says Class Extension (For example Witch Hunter Extension for the Rapier). You need Level 20 and also you have to unlock all your weapon's skills and Virtues until you reach the Class extension node. Then you need to find your class' trainer. For example, the Blade Dancer is unlocked by unlocking the starting Katana skills, reaching Level 20 and finding the Blade Dancer trainer at the waterfall near the New Avalon spawn.

How to Set Spawn Location in Nethros

You can set different spawn points in Nethros where you'll always respawn after you die apart from the default location. To do this simply go to any Bed icon NPC in any camp/stronghold and buy a bed for 200 Yin. From here, until you change it again, you'll always respawn at that exact spot.

How to Get Glider and Grappling Hook

Both the Glider and the Grappling Hook or the Mounted Hook are available at almost every weapon merchant marked by the three vertical sword icons. The Glider is everywhere but the Mounted Hook is easily available at your first NPC stronghold with the Assignment board which you'll be prompted to go to after the starting quest.

The Glider is available for 500 Yins and can be used to smoothly glide from higher vantage points. Note that there's no fall damage if you fall. The Grappling Hook is 10000 Yins and can be used to traverse vertical terrain much faster. Keep in mind that wall hopping which we covered above will solve your vertical problems before you get the Grappling Hook. The hook is just a better option for combat and overall world mobility.

What are World Events in Nethros?

nethros world event rewards guide
Screenshot by Destructoid

These are global events that anyone on the server can join. They're centered around PVP and they're an easy way to earn Honor Points for the Honor Shop as well as reputation, Yins and higher level gear. They're also a great way to test out your build against other players with little to no consequences. There are currently two:

  • Gladiator: Just a straight-up mass PVP death match.
  • Dominion: A capture-the-flag style game mode where you have to capture and protect monoliths to win.

That's it for my Nethros beginners guide. Check out the Nethros Trello, Wiki and Discord for more information on the game.

Kinda Hard Golf, Pile-Up Poker, and Really Bad Chess screenshots side by side

We're living in a new golden age of browser games. If you're a cringe millennial like me and miss playing Flash games like in the 2000s, you'll be happy to learn about modern games that are fun, run well on any browser, and aren't part of the .io games bloat and Roblox clones that plague game websites.

Here are great browser games I've played and highly recommend you try out too. They all work perfectly on PC and mobile browsers.

I'm Not a Robot

We from the Destructoid staff got obsessed with I'm Not a Robot. This game is about solving Captchas that get more and more complicated, from finding a Guitar Cat to getting a high score on a short rhythm game on your browser. This Captcha-solving satire is super fun, especially if you play along with some friends. Check our walkthrough if you're ever in trouble.

Really Bad Chess

Black pieces checkmating the white king in Really Bad Chess
It's really, really bad. Screenshot by Destructoid.

I've always liked chess, but I thought it needed some kind of noob, casual way of playing that didn't require reading five books written by former Soviet players to survive an opening against a five-year-old. Really Bad Chess fills that need. Almost all pieces are randomized, and you have some short goals in every game that you can follow before you checkmate the opponent's king. You need some familiarity with chess, but you can be bad at it because the game makes zero sense and is totally for fun.

Kinda Hard Golf

Kinda Hard Golf has that Flash games vibe that nostalgic players like myself might enjoy. You just drag the golf ball to aim and shoot while trying to climb up the stage and reach the hole. Really intuitive, but also challenging. Click-and-drag too far and you may overshoot the ball, sending it into the water.

The Password Game

The Password Game Screenshot 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Password Game is a classic. It went viral when it was released in 2023 because of how difficult and absurd it is. It's a satire like I'm not a Robot, but for password requirements. The more password creation requirements you meet, the more impossible they get. You'll probably need guides to complete this one.

Geoguessr

Geoguessr is about exploring an area on Google Street View in two minutes and guessing where that place is on the world map. Trying to spot signs in other languages, seeing names in police cars, and reading signs in front of buildings to learn more about the area is incredibly fun. Surprisingly, you need to know more about world culture than geography to play it casually.

Geoguessr is the closest we have to a browser esports title as well, with professional Geoguessr players competing in tournaments for thousands of dollars. Hardcore versions of the game include a still image showing up in a split second, forcing the player to guess the area without exploring Street View further.

The Wiki Game

You've probably already played The Wiki Game before, but not on its specific page. The game gives you a starting and a target Wikipedia page, and your goal is to get from one to the other in the fewest clicks possible. You get one puzzle per day. Some of them are really easy to complete, but you may get challenging ones from time to time.

Pile-Up Poker

Cards arranged on a grid forming Poker hands in Pile-Up Poker
Hello, Balatro fans. Screenshot by Destructoid.

Just like Really Bad Chess, Pile-Up Poker is a casual way to play poker. All you have to do is know how to build poker hands and arrange the cards you're dealt on a 4x4 grid to make as many valid hands as you can in each row and column. The more you try to optimize the grid to increase your score, the more fun the game becomes.

nethros wiki and trello links

Nethros is the latest open world RPG on Roblox that drops permadeath mechanics and introduces a bunch of interesting weapon-based class options and next-level mobility. There's a lot of features and customization options in the game. Luckily, here are the Nethros Trello, Wiki and Discord links to help you keep track of everything.

Nethros Trello, Wiki and Discord Guide

nethros wiki and trello guide
Image via Prival Studios

Here's every useful community info link you need to start progressing and grinding in Nethros while staying informed:

Out of all of these I would recommend starting with the Wiki and our beginner's guide since it's got all the starter-friendly data you need. They'll both give you a basic idea of what to do when you start and how to progress. Specifically, the Wiki has info on:

  • Weapons
  • Races
  • Classes
  • Magic
  • Skills
  • Progression

Then I would dive into the Discord for more specific questions you may have. It's filled with veteran players that can answer anything you need and it's also a place to ask about the best options when it comes to classes or weapons. For example, currently the Polls channel consensus is that the best weapon is the Rapier.

But that's not all, the Discord is also great for tracking upcoming content and any announcements about the game. These can be new additions, reworks, buffs, nerfs and any changes tracked via the Updates channel. You can also make suggestions about rebalancing or new additions.

That's it for my Nethros Trello board, Wiki page and Discord server guide. Stay tuned to our Roblox guides for more upcoming Nethros guides, tips and tier lists.

The new JC Denton in Deus Ex Remastered

You should never judge a book by its cover, but I guess that doesn't apply to games, especially when they're Deus Ex Remastered. Yes, it looks so bad that fans have been memefying it ever since the dreadful announcement, in the vain hope of getting something good out of it.

https://youtu.be/f1RdKezTYNk

Even if you're not a fan of Deus Ex, or the dated looks of the first game, it's hard not to feel like the "upgraded" graphics feel like a bizarre overcorrection akin to a botched plastic surgery performed in a cyberpunk dystopia. YouTube's comments are pure gold, with nuggets such as "upgraded visuals from 2000 to 2005". Hilarious, but the reality is even worse.

The looks of the Deus Ex remaster are a trifecta of failure. They don't stay faithful to the original, and don't make it look just "a bit more modern". This remaster looks like something they'd be making nowadays if gamers had really enjoyed the shiny, rubbery texture of that weird period during the PS3 and Xbox 360 era.

JC Denton's looks in the Deus Ex Remaster
Image via Aspyr

The remaster seems to go out of its way to make "improvements" that appeal to no one. such as making JC Denton incredibly buff. What were they going for? A JC Denton that looks like Steven Seagal imagines himself?

https://twitter.com/EnjoyerFalcom/status/1970993166766751984

Aspyr recently made a name for itself as a remaster artist. They're responsible for remastering the six original Tomb Raider titles, as well as the two Soul Reaver games. Seven out of these eight remasters are just wonderful, with Angel of Darkness naturally being the black sheep of the pack. These remasters not only revamped the tech used on the original titles but also respected the artistic vision of the originals. Aspyr wisely hired a bunch of fans who'd been modding the original games for the longest time, just out of love for the series, and it showed.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Deusex/comments/1npq6pl/this_remaster_is_horrible/

I don't know what happened with the Deus Ex remaster, but, staying true to Deus Ex lore, it's not impossible that Aspyr got tricked into hiring members of the Illuminati, which are totally real, to make something so bad it would bury the first game to reveal the Illuminati to the public. That, or Aspyr is just openly making regrettable decisions, as this YouTube comment points out, "Using AI upscaling for Deus Ex has to be the biggest irony I've seen in gaming."

As a person who's way more into Tomb Raider, Soul Reaver, and laughter than I am into Deus Ex, I understand I am quite lucky. Still, I cannot help but feel for the many Deus Ex fans that, despite possible future re-remastering by Aspyr in response to the backlash, now may never be able to disconnect the image of JC Denton from that of Steven Seagal.

The big key locked in Cloverpit

CloverPit might look like an ordinary slot simulator to many, but it's a Roguelite unlike any other, with different endings to obtain.

Winning in CloverPit is a difficult task. You'll fail more often than you'll succeed, and your victory will depend on your skills and a healthy dose of luck. With solid management, you should be able to unlock two different endings.

However, you must achieve a few prerequisites before you can trigger either the good or the bad ending.

How to begin a run with all corpse pieces in CloverPit

A key task to complete is to get all the corpse pieces. For that, you'll need all the drawer slots. You can get a drawer slot with the use of a key that is granted when you meet a deadline of 12,500 units. Once you get the key in a run, you can't get another one before you complete at least three more runs.

Having all four drawers will help you get all four corpse pieces, barring the skull. The skull can be obtained from the shop, while the rest of the pieces are obtained by filling your drawers (all of them) before starting the next run.

An upgrade in Cloverpit.

How to get the good ending in CloverPit

The trick to getting a good ending is rolling the 666 at least once. You can use the Heartbreak Memory Card if you don't want to rely on luck. Next, you'll have to be careful about accepting phone upgrades. If your phone text looks like mine and appears in white, it's fine. If the text is in red, don't accept any boon.

Phone call with white text in CloverPit
Screenshot by Destructoid

Instead, hit "Be Right Back" and don't pick up the phone again. You have to be consistent with this throughout your run. Picking upgrades from a phone call where the phone text appears in red will end your chance of getting a good ending.

Finishing a deadline with a red phone call will leave a mark on your 666 Floppy disk. Do this three times to gain three marks. Your phone will transform the next time you take a call. To get three red phone calls by deadline 8, you must have triggered 666 once.

When the phone transforms, your call will allow you to obtain sacred charms and the key to the good ending.

How to get the bad ending in ClovePit

Getting the bad ending is easier, but you must clear deadlines until you come across one where you must pay back 250,000 units. Repay the debt, and you'll unlock the dark key, which allows you to exit behind you.

A ghost trapped in a summoning circle in front of a flaming cross in Phasmophobia

If you think you've mastered the art of ghost hunting in Phasmophobia, you may be ready to put your skills to the test. Weekly challenge modes are a great way to see just how good you are.

These special trials modify how the game works, usually with rules that make the experience a lot harder. Successfully finishing the challenge gets you plenty of XP and cash, so it's well worth the effort. Here's the weekly challenge in Phasmophobia and everything you need to know to beat it.

Phasmophobia weekly challenge mode (Sept. 21-28)

The primitive challenge in phasmophobia
Screenshot by Destructoid

From Sept. 28 to Oct. 5, the weekly challenge is Primitive in Phasmophobia. In this challenge, all your electronic equipment is broken, leaving you with very little to work with. You have limited ways to test for evidence, and not much to help you get through this trial, making it a rather tough one to complete.

How to complete the weekly challenge in Phasmophobia

To finish the weekly challenge mode in Phasmophobia, you need to correctly identify the ghost present on the featured map three times. The specific changes present in each trial mode vary, but your goal is always the same.

All Primitive weekly challenge modifiers in Phasmophobia

This challenge mode has several specific rules that modify the way the contract functions. Here are all the key details you need to know about this trial.

  • Map: 10 Ridgeview Court
  • Starting sanity: 100 percent
  • Sanity drain speed: 100 percent
  • Sanity medication restoration: 40 percent
  • Setup time: Five minutes
  • Player speed: 100 percent
  • Ghost speed: 100 percent
  • Weather: Random
  • Fuse box state: Broken
  • Cursed Possession: Ouija Board
  • Equipment: Mix of Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III items.

    • Tier I: Igniter, Incense, Thermometer, Ultraviolet, and Crucifix.
    • Tier II: Firelight and Salt.
    • Tier III: Ghost Writing Book.

  • Missing Equipment: Flashlight, Sound Recorder, DOTS Projector, Head Gear, Ghost Writing Book, Spirit Box, UV Light, Video Camera, Tripod, Sound Sensor, Photo Camera, Motion Sensor, Parabolic Microphone, EMF Reader, and Sanity Medication.

Phasmophobia Primitive weekly challenge mode tips

The Primitive challenge is one of the trickier ones you can attempt in Phasmophobia, so here are some of the best tips to help you get it done.

  • Bring all your equipment to the front door. Before you start investigating, bring all of the items you need to the front door. Although you do have a full five minutes to set up, your lack of resources means you want to fully seize every second of the safe period. It can be a bit annoying to do, but bringing all of your items to the front door early on buys you back a lot of time throughout the match.
  • Use Ultraviolet and Firelight to see. Since the fuse box is broken and you don't have Flashlights, getting around is really tough in this challenge. Your only light sources are Ultraviolet and Firelight, which you don't usually use for this purpose, so you might forget to grab them and stumble around in the darkness instead. Even a little light is better than none at all, so remember to use these tools.
  • Place Crucifixes in the ghost room. Once you know where the ghost is, place your Crucifixes around the room for protection. This powerful tool can block a few ghost hunts, so make sure you use it to your advantage.
  • Watch for unofficial evidence, behaviors, and patterns. You can't test for certain types of evidence in this trial since you're missing gear, which means you may need to rely on unofficial evidence to figure out what type of ghost is present. Look for clues like the Wraith's refusal to ever step in Salt or the Obake's six-fingered handprint to catch the culprit here.
  • Play with friends. Your odds of success are a lot better with allies helping you through this tricky trial. With additional ghost hunters at your side, you can explore the map more quickly, work together to gather evidence, and continue the investigation even if you perish.
  • Don't give up. Since all equipment is provided for free, there's nothing to lose in this challenge. Because of this, you can keep trying without worrying about losing money or equipment. Give each contract your all and keep at it until you get it done.
  • Make an educated guess. Some ghosts are just easier to identify than others, so luck plays a large role in how easy or tough this trial is. Even if you have no evidence at all, always make a guess before you leave, then reroll to try again.

When does the challenge mode change in Phasmophobia?

The challenge mode changes every Monday at 12am UTC, which translates to 7pm CT every Sunday. You have a full week to tackle each challenge mode when it's available. All challenge modes return regularly since they're on a rotating schedule, so if you don't get to finish one, you can always try it again in the future.

Next weekly challenge mode in Phasmophobia

The next weekly challenge mode, which will run for a full week from Oct. 5 to 12, will be Vulnerable. This challenge mode will begin as soon as this week's featured one, Primitive, ends.

Will arnett in a lego boat in lego masters and jeff probst standing outside in survivor

Hello again, Destructoid, and welcome to a fresh week of diving into discussing what we've been watching lately. This time, we're delving into two of my favorite reality TV shows.

First up, we'll get into the brick building madness that is LEGO Masters, as I finally caught up on the most recent season. Naturally, I had to check in on the latest Survivor season too, since it just came back last week. No spoilers here, but it's already shaping up to be another wild ride of strategy, surprises, and unforgettable personalities.

LEGO Masters is gloriously goofy in the best way, and if you haven't tuned in yet, I can't recommend it enough. I grew up building LEGO sets nonstop, so the show is a fun, nostalgic way for me to reconnect with something I now only dabble in occasionally.

The premise is simple: teams of two compete in weekly themed challenges, vying for the chance to be the last one standing to claim the title of LEGO Master. It's hosted by none other than LEGO Batman himself, Will Arnett, who brings his signature blend of dry wit and over-the-top silliness to every episode.

Season five was an especially good one, as it was packed with special collaboration episodes. I really enjoyed them, as it was so fun to see the teams create builds based on iconic franchises. There were challenges for Star Wars, Wicked, and Batman, making for some really fun builds throughout the entire season.

Overall, LEGO Masters continues to be one of the most creative and genuinely joyful competition shows on TV, and I'm thrilled that it's already been renewed for another season. It's a rare series that celebrates imagination and teamwork while still being wildly entertaining.

That said, I was definitely bummed to hear that Will Arnett won't be the host next season. His presence has been such a big part of the show's charm. Nick Cannon is taking over for season six, and while I'm curious to see how it goes, it's hard to imagine anyone matching Arnett's perfect mix of sarcasm and silliness.

I've also recently been enjoying Survivor, as the show just came back for its 49th season. I've been watching Survivor for as long as I can remember, and I'm always shocked by how it never gets old to me. Each season feels like an entirely new show because of how different all of the contestants are.

What keeps me coming back season after season is the perfect blend of social strategy, physical challenges, and psychological gameplay. No matter how familiar the format might seem, the unique mix of personalities always throws in fresh twists and unpredictable dynamics.

Season 49 is already off to a solid start, as the new cast is full of big characters and interesting new players. It's too early to know exactly what's in store, but as always, we can expect to see plenty of chaotic alliances and blindsides.

I'm sure this season will be great, as I've never been let down by one, but I have to admit I'm eager to get through it so we can get to Survivor 50. The next season, which will likely debut sometime in early 2026, features all returning players to commemorate 50 seasons of the show. Some of my favorites are coming back, and I can't wait to see contestants from past seasons collide in this epic island showdown.

So, Destructoid, what about you? What have you been watching recently? Have either of these shows been on your radar, or has other content been occupying your time? Let us know down in the comments so we can discuss.

A character surrounded by skeletons in Megabonk.

Megabonk has plenty of character stats, and understanding how they work is crucial.

Mastering the stats is crucial if you want to succeed on higher-tier levels. Every stat is essential to analyze, but some will have a heavier impact on your survival (based on your build).

The game doesn't explain the stats well, so this guide will help you understand what each stat means and how it works.

All character stats in Megabonk and how they work

The table below briefly explains what every stat means.

Stats in Megabonk
Screenshot by Destructoid

Stat How it works
Max HP Complete health pool for every character inside the game. This can increase with certain items and tomes.
HP regen The rate at which lost HP can regenerate. Can be increased with tomes and items.
Overheal This stat is active only if HP regen goes above 100 (this stat still needs some more time for me to understand well).
Shield Shield value when it is active.
Armor The Armor reduces a percentage of damage and the health you could lose from an attack.
Evasion Chance to completely avoid damage from an incoming attack.
Lifesteal Amount of health pool regeneration that can trigger when you land an attack and do damage to an enemy.
Thorns Applies a modifier that does damage to an enemy when they attack you.
Damage The rate at which you deal damage to your enemies. Can be increased with tomes and items.
Crit Chance The rate at which you can land a critical attack.
Crit Damage Amount of damage you do when landing a critical attack.
Attack Speed Your default rate of attacks, which can be raised with items and tomes.
Projectile Count The number of projectiles you can fire. Only activates when you use a weapon that has projectile-type damage.
Projectile Bounces The rate at which the projectiles bounce after hitting an enemy. Only works with certain weapons.
Size The size of your attack (projectile size, blade swings, bullets, etc)
Projectile Speed The rate at which Projectiles travel when fired.
Duration I need more time to examine this stat, but it appears related to how long elemental effects like Freeze, Poison, and more last.
Damage to Elites The amount of damage you can land on elite enemies like Stage Bosses.
Knockback Amount of pushback you can land on an enemy with a weapon hit.
Movement Speed Speed at which you can move on the map. Can be raised with tomes and items.
Extra Jumps When active, you can keep extra jumps to escape tight situations.
Jump Height Decides how high you can reach with your jump.
Luck This stat determines how frequently you can get rarer tomes, items, and weapon upgrades.
Difficulty Determines the difficulty rate of your run. Playing in higher difficulties will get better rewards.
Pickup Range A higher stat in this department will allow you to pick up XP from a greater distance.
XP Gain Rate at which you gain XP from every level.
Gold Gain Rate at which you get Gold.
Silver Gain Rate at which you get Silver.
Elite Spawn Increase Rate at which you can encounter elite enemies.
Powerup Multiplier The rate at which your Powerups apply their applicable modifiers.
Powerup Drop Chance The rate at which Powerups can drop during your run.

Specific stats like Movement Speed, Damage, and Powerup Drop Chances are universal. It's essential to level them up as much as possible, as they will help your build and raise your chance of success.
