Siliconera Sunday, March 27, 2022 10:40 PM As part of the Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary announcements, Bandai announced two Tamagotchi models. There will be Dark Mode and Light Mode variants. They will debut in Japan in October 2022. Each one will cost 2,530円 (~$20). Premium Bandai is taking pre-orders until May 5, 2022. However, the US site does not have a product listing for it. [Thanks, Dengeki Hobby Web!]
Like the Demon Slayer Tamagotchi variants, the Kingdom Hearts models will be a part of the Tamagotchi Nano line. this means they are monochromatic, simpler, and smaller than something like a Tamagotchi On. Also, like both the Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen models, people will be able to potentially raise iconic characters in the series. Different versions of Sora can show up, including him in Halloween Town and Pride Rock forms. People could also end up getting characters like Roxas, Xion, Axel, Aqua, Ventus, Terra, Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy, based on the early images. Other mystery characters, like King Mickey, are also teased. You will feed your character themed food, like Paupu Fruit, and take part in minigames inspired by the series. Here's a look at the lineup of potential characters. 20 are teased. There is also a vote ongoing to add two more Heartless characters. That will run until April 11, 2022. And here's a look at the two varieties of the Tamagotchis. Both feature familiar icons from the series and the game's logo across the bottom. The Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi models are expected to appear in Japan sometime in October 2022. The post Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi Models Announced appeared first on Siliconera. |
Siliconera Sunday, March 27, 2022 9:00 PM As the release date for Genshin Impact Version 2.6 draws closer, miHoYo shared details about the new 5-star sword, Haran Geppaku Futsu, that will appear in the game as a signature weapon for Ayato. However, its main stat and ability may be useful for other Sword users in a person's party. Aside from the new sword, there will also be new artifact sets to farm for in Liyue. https://twitter.com/GenshinImpact/status/1507930413150392321 The main stat for Haran Geppaku Futsu affects a character's Crit Rate. It also passively increases all Elemental DMG by 12%. When other characters use Elemental Skills, the character with Haran Geppaku Futsu gets Wavespike stacks. Then, when the character with the sword uses their Elemental Skill, it uses up the Wavespike stacks to increase Normal Attack DMG by 20%. Previous signature weapons in Genshin Impact generally mesh well with a character's kit, and the Haran Geppaku Futsu sword is no exception for Ayato. His Burst already buffs Normal Attack, whereas his Elemental Skill significantly alters the speed and DMG type of his Normal Attacks. Other new equipment that will appear in Genshin Impact 2.6 aside from the Haran Geppaku Futsu are two artifact sets. The Lost Valley domain in the Chasm will be where players farm for either Vermillion Hereafter or Echoes of an Offering. Echoes of an Offering will also increase Normal Attack DMG as a four-set bonus. Meanwhile, Vermillion Hereafter increases ATK after an Elemental Burst, as well as further increases it as the character loses HP. Genshin Impact Version 2.6 will go live on March 30, 2022. Genshin Impact is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS devices. The post Here's Ayato's Haran Geppaku Futsu Genshin Impact Sword appeared first on Siliconera. |
Siliconera Sunday, March 27, 2022 8:00 PM March 28, 2022 marks exactly 20 years since the release of the first Kingdom Hearts game and in commemoration, series creator Tetsuya Nomura showed off a sketch that will appear for the anniversary event. According to the tweet, Nomura is so busy with preparations for the 20th Anniversary event that he has not had time to prepare anything for the actual day. The sketch that he teased is one that he is trying to finish for the actual event. Because of the picture size, as well as the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary frame, it is difficult to make out exactly what the sketch will look like. In the picture, you can see characters like Sora and various versions of Xehanort. There also appears to be characters similar to Luxord and Marluxia in the corner. You can see the full Nomura sketch here, as well as on the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account: https://twitter.com/_kingdomhearts/status/1508119308647378948?s=12 The event that Nomura alludes to is one that will take place on April 10, 2022. It will be in Tokyo, Japan, and tickets are available from the Square Enix Members website. However, it is through a lottery system. Square Enix also started hosting a Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event at the Square Enix Cafe in Akihabara. The first part of the event will run from March 26 to April 15, 2022, whereas the second will be from April 16 to May 6, 2022. As you will not be able to take pictures or videos in the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event in Tokyo, the finished art piece will likely appear on the Kingdom Hearts Twitter account in the near future.
