Elden Ring typo leaves one student at the back of Rennala's class

If you've battled your way through Raya Lucaria, you'll have faced the Elden Ring boss fight against Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. The fight begins in a library high above the rest of the school, and a group of students assists Rennala in the first phase. Due to a typo in the event script, however, one of these students will never be called upon to help power Rennala's protective magic shield in From's RPG game.

Dark Souls modder Grimrukh (who co-authored the massive Dark Souls mod Nightfall) spotted the error while looking through the event script. The students, known as 'sweetlings,' crawl around on the floor and fling books at you while you try to get close to Rennala. At any given time, three of the students will be caught up in a trance, chanting and glowing with golden energy, providing power to the barrier that protects their queen.

Genshin Impact Dendro – all the plant-type synergies

Excited to learn more about Dendro in Genshin Impact? The Genshin Impact 3.0 update looks to feature the most amount of content the anime game has seen in a single patch. Fans had their first glimpse of Sumeru at the end of the 2.8 livestream, the latest region coming to Genshin Impact later this year. Sumeru is home to the Dendro element, Teyvat's seventh and final element.

Though Genshin Impact Dendro has been referenced numerous times in the story, its existence has been largely glossed over. As we draw closer to the next update, the Genshin Impact Twitter account has revealed Collei and Tighnari, the first two playable Dendro characters. We may even get a glimpse of the Dendro Archon, Kusanali, when players have full access to the Sumeru region. Here's everything you need to know about the Dendro element in Genshin Impact.

GTA: San Andreas Definitive Edition finally arrives, as a mod

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Definitive Edition released in November 2021, or so you may have heard. But actually, that was just a decoy, a rouse, a doppelganger, created as part of a sinister government experiment to test how tolerant human eyeballs are to bad rain and water effects, and the real definitive edition has actually only just launched, as a free mod, available to download now.

The best M13 loadout in Warzone

What is the best M13 loadout in Warzone? The M13 is often overlooked in Call of Duty's battle royale as it can lack some punch over long distances. However, the M13 is a machine in close and mid-range battles, with next to no vertical recoil and a rate of fire that makes up for its low damage per shot rating. On top of this, it's also very mobile and quick to aim down sights with.

It's harder to quantify, but the best M13 loadout simply feels good to use in Warzone – provided you don't try to kill snipers with it. Shooting from long distances with the M13 works well enough, but you won't be able to down enemies very easily unless they have already lost their armour. In order to get the best out of this underutilised AR, we've put together our pick of the best M13 attachments for the dream Warzone M13 loadout.

All playable Baldur's Gate 3 races

Looking for the latest info on all the Baldur's Gate 3 races? With the latest announcements from Larian this year, we got news of a new Bard class and race you can play right now in the Early Access RPG game. We're seemingly no closer to the official Baldur's Gate 3 release date, but at least we have new character archetypes to explore the Forgotten Realms.

No matter which one of the nine confirmed Baldurs Gate 3 races you choose, the opening cinematic shows our player character becoming an unwilling host to a toothy little eyeball tadpole. It threatens to transform us into a Mind Flayer - an evil Eldrich creature with powerful magical abilities. Of course, you won't have any control over the presence of your parasite pal wriggling around your insides, but you can at least customise your character's appearance.

If you create your character, you'll be able to select your class and character background in addition to your race. Alternatively, much like Divinity Original Sin 2, you can choose to play as one of a selection of potential Baldur's Gate 3 companions, each with their own story, abilities, and unique quirks. For example, Astarion is a vampire spawn who can give his travel buddies' tasty necks a nasty nip so he can feed while they slumber.

PUBG has a major fan in the form of PSG right winger, and Brazilian international, Neymar Jr. It's a sweet if slightly strange love affair – I personally find it hard to understand how a multi-millionaire, with the world at his fingertips, as it were, comes to choose playing online battle royale games as his preferred way of killing time. Want to make the best Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Dual Blades build? While several of the 16 weapon types received big buffs recently, perhaps the one that saw the most dramatic rise in the rankings from the RPG game's expansion is the Dual Blades. This is partially due to the new skills and a rework of existing ones to exploit elemental damage.

As a result, the best Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Dual Blades build for all five elements requires lots of endgame items. Many need you to defeat some of the new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak monsters, but it'll take time to get them all. For years, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released Lego games to tie in with popular movies.      Fortnite reality seeds – how to break open seed pods

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is now live and there are plenty of changes to the island, such as the new Fortnite reality seeds locations. One of the Zero Week challenges asks players to plant or summon reality saplings using reality seeds, so here's how they work.

Reality Falls is one of the new areas on the Fortnite map, covered in glowing purple trees. In the middle of this location is a large, lilac tree that drops reality seed pods, which can be broken using your pickaxe to obtain Fortnite reality seeds. In recent weeks, more trees and more pods have sprouted in other locations on the island. You can plant their seeds anywhere that is flat and they will grow into reality saplings, which you can loot in subsequent games for weapons and gear.

You need to find and plant three reality seeds to complete this week's challenge. To plant a seed, find any location on the map where you're likely to return in future games, equip a seed, and throw it onto the ground. You need to take care of the plant by weeding it when needed in order to get higher-tier loot such as legendary and mythic items.

Where to find Fortnite Baller vehicles

Want to know where you can find the Fortnite Baller? As part of the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 update for the long-running battle royale game, the island has transformed from a warzone to a massive blowout party, with DJ sets and magical trees that spread Fortnite reality seeds.

The islanders built one of this season's new named areas on top of the ruins of Command Cavern, the former headquarters of the Imagined Order. Now known as Rave Cave, this area hosts a music festival, complete with a rollercoaster that you can ride thanks to the return of the Fortnite Baller. This is essentially a zorb ball with a plunger that you can use to swing across the map, similar to the web-slingers from the beginning of Chapter 3.

The only real difference between this vehicle and the previous version of the Baller is that there is now a battery meter, and you stop moving when this runs out. Using the plunger to latch onto objects and pressing space to give yourself a boost both deplete the meter faster, so keep an eye on how much power you have left as you swing across the map.

     Fortnite Grapple Glove locations

Want to know all the Fortnite Grapple Glove locations? We're only into the second week of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, and already we're getting new gadgets. The Grapple Gloves are functionally the same as the Spider-Man Web Shooters from Chapter 3 Season 1, but with some minor cosmetic differences.

You can find a Fortnite Grapple Glove set inside purple chests you can find across the Fortnite map, in this case, shacks with cranes on top of them. And you'll need to find them eventually, because there's an upcoming challenge that requires the use of the Grapple Gloves to complete it. You'll need to find a pair of these powerful gloves, equip them, and then swing for a total of 50 metres.

Each Grapple Glove you collect has 30 shots in standard games, though you only get 10 in competitive modes. In case you run out of charge, the popular battle royale game has other options to increase your mobility, not counting the fact you can still sprint and vault around, of course. The Fortnite Baller vehicles in Rave Cave work very similarly to the Grapple Gloves, and you can also ride Fortnite animals for as long as they'll bear your weight.

Resident Evil 2 ray tracing is finally good thanks to this mod

Resident Evil 2 ray tracing has caused a lot of frustration among fans of Capcom's superlative survival horror. Back in June, the developer released its free, ambience-improving, ray tracing update, but in the process, ended support for DirectX 11 versions of the game, effectively forcing players to upgrade to DirectX 12, and higher PC specs. That decision was quickly reversed, and the original versions restored, but obviously for a lot of fans that meant no more ray tracing, a terrific shame, given the vivid detail and rich atmosphere of RE2's reimagined Raccoon Police Department.

GTA Online leaks hint at next update weapons and details

Grand Theft Auto V's next big update for GTA Online is due in a few weeks, and some reputable leakers are already suggesting several juicy details that we can expect to show up in the multiplayer game when the update arrives. Rockstar has also extended the current Diamond Casino-themed GTA Online weekly event until July 26, which suggests that we may see the update landing around that time.

In a comment on GTA Forums, noted leaker alloc8or shared some juicy little snippets of info about the new update, which they say Rockstar has listed as simply "DLC 1 2022." According to their reporting, the update is set to include 26 new vehicle slots - this means more garage space, though players have speculated that the weird number suggests that it could also include something like six slots of hangar space.

Two new rifles are expected to come with the update. The first listed as a "tactical rifle" and the other - which alloc8or says they are unsure about the exact nature of - is codenamed "PRCSRIFLE," which implies that it could be some manner of precision sniper rifle. Alloc8or also confirms the presence of new skydiving activities and says these will be connected to a new "skydive collectible" for players to hunt down.

Skull and Bones ship types – what we know so far

Looking for Skull and Bones ship types? Ubisoft's own Sea of Thieves-esque pirate game arrives on our shores on November 8, 2022, and we're starting to get an idea of everything we can expect - from pirate customisation, to ship combat, and even its survival game aspects. In a developer blog uploaded in July, Ubisoft revealed more details about the Skull and Bones ship types and their uses.

There are three types of ship (and one outlier) that you're able to helm in Skull and Bones. Within these categories, there are twelve ships to choose from at launch, all with their own unique perks. In a video on the Ubisoft YouTube channel, senior game director, Ryan Barnard, has confirmed that the intention is for players to build a rounded fleet, with ships for different ventures, rather than putting all your resources into one. Here's what we know so far about Skull and Bones ship types.

Genshin Impact new characters in the 2.8 update and beyond

Want to know about new Genshin Impact characters? According to Hoyoverse's original Genshin Impact roadmap - new faces should release with every major update. The banners feature characters with increased drop rates, including one five-star character and three four-star characters.

Heizou is the most recent new Genshin Impact character to arrive in the Genshin Impact 2.8 update, and we know that Tighnari, Collei, and Dori are all arriving in a future update. There are also leaks and datamined information concerning new faces that may appear further down the line. That's because we're talking about our favourite towers in games. Luckily, games have a lot of both.

Bayonetta 3 limited edition

Bayonetta 3 is coming in late October 2022, finally ending the years-long wait endured by fans of the Umbra Witch. Nintendo's set to take advantage, of course, by offering a Bayonetta 3 limited edition package filled with goodies. Formally known as the "Trinity Masquerade Edition" of the game, the Bayonetta 3 limited edition package will be sold at select retailers and the My Nintendo Store.

Check out a preview of the pack below.

https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1547270745780273153

The Bayonetta 3 Trinity Masquerade Edition comes with the game in a standard-size Switch cartridge case. It also includes a 200-page art book and three special game case art inserts. Each art insert corresponds to one of the Bayonetta series titles, and the three combine to form a single panoramic work. A large box decorated with the Bayonetta 3 box art holds the goods.

You might be wondering why Nintendo would include box art for Bayonetta 1 in the package when the Switch version of Bayonetta was a digital-only release. Wonder no more, for Nintendo has also confirmed that there will be a separate physical release of Bayonetta on September 30, 2022.

https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1547270761924157440

Previously, the Switch port of the first Bayonetta game was download-only. Copies were included as codes with certain physical editions of Bayonetta 2 on Switch or sold via the Nintendo eShop. With a physical edition of the trilogy available, players can opt to use the custom art inserts on all three copies if they choose.

Bayonetta 3 and its limited edition go on sale on October 28, 2022. The physical release of Bayonetta is set for September 30, 2022. Bayonetta 2 is available physically and digitally on Switch.

Rumble Fish Console Release

Japan-based publisher 3Goo announced that it will release The Rumble Fish fighting game series globally for home consoles in Winter 2022. This includes The Rumble Fish and its sequel, The Rumble Fish 2. Notably, this is the first time 2005's arcade release of The Rumble Fish 2 will receive a home console port. Alongside the announcement, 3Goo also uploaded the story trailer for the game via YouTube. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The Rumble Fish is a 2D arcade fighting game that originally debuted in 2004. Known for its sleek character models that utilized Smooth Model Animation, the series has never been released outside of Japan. While Sega later ported the first game to the PlayStation 2 in 2005, the series hasn't seen much activity since. Dimps, the game's developer, acquired the rights to the game back in 2012.

It's still unclear which platforms The Rumble Fish will be available on, as well as whether it will appear on PCs. As of writing, 3Goo has not stated whether there will be updates to the game's net code or if it will have online multiplayer support. However, 3Goo has uploaded a 3-minute-long story trailer featuring the game's protagonist Zen, Greed, and other characters.

Developer Dimps is also known for developing other fighting games such as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Soul Calibur VI. Its latest release was Dragon Ball: The Breakers in 2020.

The Rumble Fish and The Rumble Fish 2 will release for home consoles worldwide sometime in Winter 2022. There is no confirmed platform, price, or release date. The Rumble Fish series is available to play in arcades in Japan, and The Rumble Fish is also available on PlayStation 2.

Intel prices increaseIntel could be planning to increase the prices for its CPU, peripheral chips, and other products soon. The company will supposedly "raise prices on a majority of its microprocessors and peripheral chip products later this year," according to a report from Nikkei Asia. The cause of the price increase is apparently rising chip production costs. Inflation seems to be another reason for this as well. However, Intel has yet to officially confirm this, so don't take this story as fact quite yet. The majority of Intel's products will seemingly receive the increase of prices. CPUs for PCs and servers, peripheral chips, and various kinds of chip controllers are all included. With that said, it seems that the exact increase in terms of percentage isn't finalized. Nikkei Asia's report says that increases could range from single digits to more than 20%. If these price increases do happen, it's likely we'll see price ranges differ with certain product...

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Review 1Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, by all means, could have been DLC for Capcom Arcade Stadium. It has another 32 Capcom arcade games, but features the exact same UI, menus, and machine models. Granted, the first release is good, even if it wasn't as user-friendly as it should have been. A semi-sequel would have been a good opportunity for significant improvements. Instead, it's another round of games with the same interface. Granted, this time invincibility is available by default, and you don't have to pay for it. Still, there are a ton of fantastic games on display, and this is one of the best ways to play them in one place. Much like the previous release, Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium does have a fair amount of retreads. Specifically, it's got about 11 of them. Therefore, if you've picked up Capcom's other arcade bundles, you'll already have a third of these games. The last Stadium collection had five of the seven games included with the Capcom Beat ...

Thrustmaster is a venerable name in the gaming space, purveying all manner of racing wheels, joysticks and accessories. At an RRP pf £299.99, the Thrustmaster T248 racing wheel is the company's latest entry-level model, and it's in for a tough fight for the podium. That price bracket includes a lot of cool wheels, including my own Logitech G290 0which I'll be comparing it against quite heavily. And with the release of the new F1 2022, what better time to consider grabbing a wheel and seeing how quickly you can smash into Lewis Hamilton?
