Diablo Immortal patch 1.6.2 introduces a character server transfer feature, with server merges planned in early November to help ensure players of the multiplayer game have enough people to group up with for activities such as the Diablo Immortal Shadow War or team up with players in Diablo Immortal warbands. The 1.6.2 update also boasts the season six start date and details on its battle pass, as well as a whole host of new legendary items. After repelling a robot-spamming rival corp across Seasons 1 and 2, your reward in Season 3 – which launches on November 3rd – is to find your mining operating pelted by a meteorite storm. And they're carrying a nasty payload: Rockpox, a contagion that quickly infects both the caves of Hoxxes IV and the many, many giant bugs living within them. These sickly Glyphids and contaminated caverns will present you and your fellow space dwarves with some new perils, but also new opportunities to turn a management-pleasing profit. On October 13, 2022, Square Enix filed trademarks for "Emberstoria" and "SaGa Emerald Beyond." The news only became public in late October 2022. In April 2022, Square Enix trademarked "Emberstoria Overwrite," though it is unclear if they are two separate properties. In May 2022, Square Enix registered emberstoria.net and emberstoria.com as domains as well. [Thanks, Gematsu!] It is currently unclear what Emberstoria or Emberstoria Overwrite are. They do not appear to be part of any existing franchises or series under Square Enix's belt. So these two trademarks may have to do with a new IP. As Square Enix started trademarking Emberstoria in April, it may not be until 2023 that we see anything concrete from this. Square Enix has also trademarked Emberstoria Overwrite in Australia. As for "SaGa Emerald Beyond," it may be a new project within the SaGa series. These JRPGs first came out in 1989 with The Final Fantasy Legend. The word "SaGa" started appearing in the titles from Romancing SaGa, which came out for the Super Famicom in 1992. The last console game was SaGa: Scarlet Grace, which came out in 2016 for the PlayStation Vita, so "Emerald Beyond" might be a new non-mobile title. Square Enix has also filed for a "SaGa Emerald Beyond" trademark in Europe and Australia. More information on Square Enix's new projects will appear in the future. MAPPA uploaded the creditless version of the ending for Chainsaw Man episode 3. Unlike most anime series, Chainsaw Man will change its ending song and animation every week. For episode 3, the ending was "Hawatari Nioku Centi" by Maximum the Hormone. [Thanks, Game Watch!] "Hawatari Nioku Centi" can loosely translate to "Two Hundred Million CM Blades." The ending has a slightly psychedelic vibe, with lots of quick movements over a red blood-like background. It also has a deeply contrasting middle section, with a slower rhythm and featuring a saintly image of Makima. Then it switches up again, featuring the main trio in a more peaceful setting. Chainsaw Man follows the story of Denji, a demon hunter who merges with his pet demon Pochita after a job that went sideways. Viz has licensed it for an English audience. The anime debuted in the Fall 2022 anime season. The Chainsaw Man anime is available to stream on Crunchyroll. Lisa Simpson found the Death Note and is ready to exact justice upon the world. No, this is not an early April Fool's joke. DR Movie, the South Korean animation studio that worked with Madhouse on Death Note, animated a parody of Death Note for The Simpsons. In this short clip, the titular Death Note is called the Death Tome, with some new rules. [gallery columns="2" ids="938042,938043" link="file"] Every Halloween, The Simpsons has a little Treehouse of Horror horror compilation. Some of the segments reference other works, such as Peanuts with "It's the Grand Pumpkin, Milhouse" and Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven" with…"The Raven." This year, it will go full anime for one of the three segments. Outside of the clip, you can see the anime versions of Homer and Marge. In the clip, you can see anime versions of Disco Stu, Terri, and Sherri.
