Great stuff, and of course, that's all before games start coming out of it. What's not to like? Oh, reader, so many things. So many, many things not to like. Gaming PCs are still only computers, after all, and computers break, often and for reasons that may be invisible to the most intensively trained eye. Introduce this volatility to a line of work that involves handling a lot of sometimes heavy, usually expensive equipment, and enjoying those little pleasures will eventually come at a cost. Namely, time spent dealing with arcane troubleshooting practices and the occasional spot of minor personal injury. |

During the FFXIV Letter From the Producer Live 74, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida commented on the appearance of the infamous grapes that reemerged as LINE stickers. The hexagonal cluster of grapes received a fair amount of attention online, which then caused the frivolous environmental item to become something of a joke throughout the community. Eventually the shape of the grapes were changed through an update patch. However, Yoshi-P had this to say about the grapes during the FFXIV Letter from the Producer livestream:
Despite the grapes having received notoriety outside of the FFXIV community, Yoshi-P is convinced that the context of the stickers won't come across. That said, the stickers themselves are only available to download in Japan. Which means that if you're outside of the region, despite having a LINE account, you won't have access to download it. Outside of the announcement of the grape stickers appearing on LINE, the broadcast included the release date for Patch 6.3. Alongside other content that will appear in Final Fantasy XIV once the update is live. Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and the release date for patch 6.3 will release in early January 2023. To honor Metroid Prime's 20th anniversary, former Retro Studios The reason for a freezer getting involved in game development is due to certain GameCube CPU being fault and not playing Metroid Prime properly. In order to update the code, the team needed to address the issue on a dev kit with that CPU. However, there was only one, and it could only be properly tested if the unit was freezing. The latest Japanese commercial for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet takes advantage of the franchise's cross-generational appeal. It's been around long enough that many of the people who first encountered it as children are now grown. The brief 30-second spot, aired on television and via YouTube. It implies it is a refreshing escape from real life's pressures. The short scene features actor Kotone Furukawa playing Yamada, a tired office worker. Furukawa starred in movies like BL Metamorphosis and 12 Suicidal Teens. By chance Yamada meets "a mysterious man from the World of Pokemon (age unknown)." This person is played by actor Eita Nagayama. Nagayama played characters like Shinya Kabuto in The Mole Song and Ryutaro in the live-action adaptations of Nodame Cantabile. Dressed in an outfit matching the male player's getup in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Nagayama invites Yamada to come to Paldea with him. There, he says it's the kind of place where you can travel and have experiences with your Pokemon buddies. The World of Pokemon, he says, is a place "where you can do anything, or nothing, if you want." Tactics Ogre: Reborn features a handful of different Classes players can unlock throughout the narrative. Picking and choosing the right job can mean victory or defeat in some circumstances. It's important to remember that you can change your Class at any given time. So instead of investing in new units, which you may be tempted to, you can always change up a character already part of your roster. However, keep in mind you won't be able to change the Class of certain story-significant characters for specific reason. That said, the guide below will tell you how to change Classes in Tactics Ogre: Reborn! If you skipped over the initial tutorial, don't worry. It only takes a few steps to actually change a character's Class. Once you've beaten the stage at Almorica Castle, you will immediately be able to switch. You can follow the steps below to navigate the few menus in your way:
You will then be brought to a menu where you can change the Class of the unit you've selected. Keep in mind that you will need Class Marks in order to change the Class of a character in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. So make sure to use them wisely. Additionally, when changing a Class it means that you will potentially be swapping out what skills that character can now equip, along with armor. Not all Classes have access to every skill available in Tactics Ogre: Reborn, so keep this in mind before swapping them out. Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song Remastered is coming soon and includes new features. With its December 1, 2022 release date approaching, Square Enix detailed more about what this new edition will bring to the table. The game itself is a remastered edition of 2005's Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song. Minstrel Song was in turn was a remake of the 1992 original on the SNES [Thanks, Inside Games!]. Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song Remastered will include quite a few new additions. Chiefly, they'll arrive in the form of additional playable characters. In Remastered, players will be able to recruit the characters Shirach (aka Schiele), Monica, Marina (aka Marine), Flammar, and Aldora to the playable party. Aldora will also have new story content, told from her viewpoint. The new events were written by Akitoshi Kawazu, general Director for the SaGa series. For completionists, Minstrel Song Remastered will add ultra high-difficulty boss battles, eclipsing the original game's toughest challenges. The original version of Minstrel Song was originally thought to have the toughest boss battles in JRPG history. Remastered will add dozens of bosses that are even harder. Kyoji Koizumi, battle designer on the original, helped supervise the work. Additionally, the new challenges will feature rearranged versions of the boss themes. Finally, Minstrel Song Remastered will have additional weapons, playable classes, and other refinements. The level cap will be raised, and certain skills that were once inaccessible will be unlocked. There's new FFVII Remake concept art, and it looks at one of the game's accessories and the Corneo's Secret Stash tiara key items. With the tiaras, it shows how each one is inspired by original FFVII Weapon superbosses. As for the equipment, it takes a closer look at the FFVII Remake Götterdämmerung. First, here's a look at the FFVII Remake Corneo's Secret Stash tiara art. In addition to the designs, they compare each one to the classic FFVII Weapon superboss it is based on. In the initial image, Aerith is wearing the Emerald Tiara based on Emerald Weapon on the right. On the left side is 2D art of each tiara next to the weapon that inspired it. The Emerald Tiara is at the top, next to Emerald Weapon. The Diamond Tiara is in the middle, beside Diamond Weapon. At the bottom is the Ruby Tiara, which is to the adjacent to Ruby Weapon. A major hallmark occurred in the Pokemon anime. That is, Ash Ketchum achieved one of his goals. On November 11, 2022 in Japan, Ash became the World Champion in the Pokemon World Coronation Series in Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series. The achievement happened during the Pokémon World Coronation Series. He faced Leon, the Pokemon Sword and Shield champion from Galar. His team was Pikachu, Dracovish, Dragonite, Gengar, Lucario, and Sirfetch'd. This happened in the 25th season of the anime. However, while people in Japan could see it now, there's no worldwide release window for the episode yet. At the moment, there is one place to catch up on Ash and Goh's adventures in the Pokemon Ultimate Journeys anime adaptation. Netflix offers the series. Sony will release three wena 3 - JoJo Edition smart watches from December 16, 2022. These watches are based on the main characters from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. Pre-orders open on November 17, 2022. Prices will start from 59,400 JPY, which is approximately $419. Square Enix confirmed Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion will feature a total of 300 SOLDIER Missions for Zack to complete. Aside from physical rewards such as Materia, you can also use these missions to increase how many accessories you can equip. These missions have difficulty ranks and will unlock as you play through the story. Based on the screenshot, we can see that some Crisis Core: FFVII missions will have multiple parts. M1-3 are missions from the weapons development team. M1-3-2 will have Zack help out the development team in testing out new weapons made specifically to counter Shinra weapons. This is because Genesis took a bunch of them and used them to attack Shinra.
You can get special rewards depending on how many missions you finish. M1-3-2 will grant Zack the Cura Materia. Meanwhile, completing 5% of all the missions in the game will give him Thunder. Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion is an action RPG that serves as a remake of the original PSP game, Crisis Core: FFVII. The story is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII and will put players in the shoes of Zack Fair. According to past interviews with Square Enix, Crisis Core: FFVII Renion will be closer to a remastered version of the original, as it will faithfully recreate the story and core elements. HoYoVerse showed off the final new playable character who will be available in version 3.2. Layla. Layla is a 4-star Cryo Sword user from Sumeru in Genshin Impact, and she is a member of the Akademiya. She will debut in Yae Miko and Tartaglia's re-run banners. Layla is always sleepy due to her studies at the Akademiya. This comes across in her animations as well, where she encases herself in a Cryo shield and takes a nap. Like Nilou, Layla only has three strikes in her Normal Attack chain. Her Elemental Burst, Dream of the Star-Stream Shaker, creates something like a celestial-themed baby mobile that will fire off icicles within an AoE. It will also add Night Stars to her Curtain of Slumber. The Curtain of Slumber is Layla's Skill. It is a shield that will deal Cryo AoE DMG when she first uses it, and scales off of her max HP. Every time a character with this shield uses an Elemental Skill, it will generate two Night Stars. You will only be able to hold four. After you get four, the Night Stars will turn into Shooting Stars that will shoot out at the enemy. Final Fantasy XIV version 6.3 will include some new tweaks and updates for player Jobs, as well as new content for those who want to test their skills against other players. The FFXIV Job Adjustments were announced in the latest Letter From the Producer Live broadcast, and it noted the Paladin will get a lot of attention. According to Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida, the team plans to make adjustments for various Jobs with the FFXIV Patch 6.3 cycle. These will affect performance in both PVP and PVE content. They don't plan any large-scale changes, but they do intend to pay special attention to the Paladin Job. According to Yoshida, the Paladin's rotation -- the sequence and timing with which a player uses its abilities for maximum effectiveness -- will be "heavily" revised. That means that Paladins could soon have to change the way they play, depending on what Job Adjustments are in store for FFXIV Patch 6.3. The team will also debut the FFXIV PVP Series 3 with Patch 6.3, as well as the fifth season of the Crystalline Conflict PVP mode. The newest PVP mode in the game, Crystalline Conflict is a team-based mode where players escort a crystal to the opposing side of the map, fighting opposing players trying to do the same. Unlike the older PVP modes, Crystalline Conflict uses a Seasonal pattern, and a separate currency with different rewards. Patch 6.3 will also introduce a new Crystalline Conflict map, inspired by the aesthetic of Kugane Castle from FFXIV: Stormblood. People will see a lot change in the Final Fantasy XIV Island Sanctuary. It came up quite a bit during the Letter from the Producer Live 74. Notably, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida promised things like more FFXIV Island Sanctuary animal and crops, as well as quality of life adjustments. First, a few general additions came up. When 6.3 arrives, there will be more FFXIV Island Sanctuary animals, crops, islework handicrafts, item rewards, materials, ranks, structures, and visions. A number of these weren't details. Also, Yoshida joked about possibly adding a Zenos scarecrow for people to put in their Island Sanctuaries. While many of these additions weren't update, the new wildlife were teased. Pictures of some of the new animals coming to the FFXIV Island Sanctuary in 6.3 appeared. One looks like the beastkin Yanxian Tiger, and another resembles a griffon. A Morbol Seedling, which resembles the minion people can get from The Aurum Vale, will also appear. The bulk of changes will pertain to quality of life updates. Square Enix will continue addressing Eorzea's housing difficulties in its new Final Fantasy XIV update by adding more homes. The FFXIV housing adjustments are planned for Patch 6.3. These will expand the pool of available housing for all players. Housing has always been a difficult issue in Final Fantasy XIV, due to its limited available supply compared with the number of players that want a place of their own. The FFXIV housing update scheduled to accompany Patch 6.3 will add more wards to all of the game's residential areas. Overall six regular wards and six subdivisions will be added, totaling 1,800 new housing plots per World server. These plots will be distributed via the lottery system implemented recently. The lottery system was introduced alongside the latest residential area, Ishgard's Empyreum. Intended to ensure more impartial distribution of housing to players that want it, the lottery has been tweaked several times since its introduction. Currently, it runs on a cycle where players can bid for a plot over five days. After that, the winners of the lottery claim and finalize their purchase over the next four days. Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida did not specify what the split would be for plots distributed to players and plots distributed to Free Companies (the in-game equivalent of "guilds"). Among the many 6.3 FFXIV updates found in the Letter from the Producer Live 74 presentation were ones related to crafting and gathering. A number of changes and new additions are on the way. Among them were additions like Tool Enhancement Quests and a new Custom Deliveries client, as well as fishing quality of life updates. Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida's first "panel" for this portion mentioned the big things coming in. There will be new Custom Deliveries. The client for that is from Il Mheg. When people head to La Noscea, there will more for fisherpeople. That's because it will be the first A Realm Reborn area to support spearfishing. As for the FFXIV quality of life crafting and gathering changes, two came up. Here are the exact bullet points from the presentation.

In Pershing's post, she wrote that both fans and fellow cast members will miss Conroy, who made the time to attend several conventions even while battling a longtime illness. So Square Enix making a AAA entry into the genre is something I've wanted for years. Don't get me wrong — this is a good game.
