You see, Crab Traps, along with many other content and mechanics, were introduced on the Dave the Diver October update. These traps are the devices you will use to get – you guessed it – crabs, but also lobster. The way you unlock them is by completing a new questline, which will trigger after speaking with Duwa, the Blacksmith on the Sea People Village.
