Sega and Colorful Palette have released a new project teaser for the popular mobile rhythm game Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku, with a reveal set for July 29, 2024. The announcement was made via Twitter and on their official website, hinting at something significant coming soon for fans of the game.

The recently released Project Sekai teaser shows a new design for Hatsune Miku glitching in and out of reality in a crowded building, with a traditional Miku advertisement glowing on the window behind her. Known for frequently dropping events and teasers of consistent quality, Project Sekai continues to engage its player base with regular updates and collaborations.

In related news, Sega detailed the Sanrio event for Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, pairing characters with Sanrio mascots from December 5-19, 2023. Jujutsu Kaisen S3 Culling Game Arc

The anticipated third season for the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen has been officially announced. The new season will cover the Culling Game arc from the manga. The announcement was made via a teaser video released on YouTube by the TOHO animation Channel, which has already garnered over 3.9 million views since its release on December 28, 2023.

The teaser features stylized manga animation, offering fans a glimpse of key upcoming panels from the manga that will be adapted in the new season. One notable quote from the protagonist, Yuji Itadori, is highlighted in the teaser: "I'm sorry, but I can't die just yet."

Lacoste will release One Piece crossover items from August 2, 2024 in Japan. These items will appear in global Lacoste stores some time in the future. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

Items include T-shirts, hoodies, and socks featuring the signature Lacoste crocodile and logo. Some of them also have the manga panel that stars the Lacoste crocodile (in Oda's art style) hanging up with Nico Robin, who's in a summer getup. There will also be a version of the hoodie that comes with a serial number. This hoodie will appear in physical stores first and then in the online storefront from August 6, 2024.

The items and prices for the Lacoste One Piece collaboration are:

  • Back print t-shirt: 15,400 JPY
  • Crocodile t-shirt: 14,300 JPY
  • Hoodie: 33,000 JPY
  • Logo cap: 12,100 JPY
  • Logo t-shirt: 14,300 JPY
  • Socks: 3,300 JPY
  • T-shirt with smaller logo: 22,000 JPY

This isn't the only crossover with One Piece this summer. In mid-July 2024, Meiji announced that the Straw Hat Pirates (and friends) will appear on certain Meiji products from July 23, 2024. Items that feature the One Piece artwork include snacks like Galbo chocolates and chocolate-covered almonds.

The Lacoste and One Piece collaboration will start from August 2, 2024. You can watch One Piece on streaming services like Crunchyroll and Viz has licensed the manga in English.

Halloween Horror Nights Chainsaw Man

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has announced a new collaboration with the popular anime series Chainsaw Man for their Halloween Horror Nights 2024 event. Set in the Hollywood Area of the park, the attraction will run from September 6 - November 4, 2024. The announcement was made via a Twitter post and expanded upon on their official USJ website.

The new attraction, titled Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4-D, will feature an original storyline where visitors can experience a battle between Chainsaw Man characters Denji, Aki, Power, and Kobeni against the Halloween Horror Nights Demons. The 4-D experience will immerse guests in the chaotic and blood-soaked world of Chainsaw Man, complete with realistic special effects and intense action scenes.

The experience is designed to be intense and is recommended for guests aged 12 and older, with parental consent required for younger visitors. Express Pass options are available for those looking to skip the lines.

In related news, MAPPA announced a re-release of their collaboration merchandise between the Chainsaw Man anime and the street brand Peace x After. This collection includes shirts and hoodies featuring unique characters from the series, blending the street aesthetic with the anime's iconic designs.
