Suntory released the collaboration coffee blend between Boss and the Pokemon TCG today in Japan. In total, there are seventeen limited edition cans that are part of this collection, all featuring Pokemon cards. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
Suntory first announced this collaboration in early January 2025. It stated that the blend takes inspiration from the "ex" cards, which are powerful cards with high stats and useful abilities. Boss coffee products that use the new limited collaboration Pokemon TCG designs are: Rainbow Mountain Blend, Luxury Low Sugar, Sugar-Free Black, and Cafe au Lait. Each can costs around 154 JPY (under $1) and you can purchase it in stores all around Japan.
Until June 1, 2025, you also have a chance to win a Fuecoco boston jacket, as well as an original QUO gift card worth 1500 JPY. To participate in this prize campaign, you need to order a pack of six Boss coffees that are part of this collaboration. Another campaign lets you win a cushion with a Pokemon card design on it. 1500 people have a chance of winning, and you only need to scan the code on your Boss coffee to participate.
Pokemon TCG Pocket is readily available on mobile devices. The Boss and Pokemon TCG collaboration campaign will end on June 1, 2025.

Kawada Toys released three more Nanoblock kits based on Paldean Pokemon. All three kits—Pawmi, Tandemaus, and Clodsire, cost 2420 JPY ($15.60).
Each kit has about 400 pieces, with Tandemaus having the least (370) and Clodsire having the most (490). The difficulty level for all three is three stars out of five, likely due to some of the complex shapes and designs on the Pokemon. Kawada released these on February 1, 2025, and does not offer international shipping on its website. Those outside of Japan will need to purchase it using a proxy service, or visit a local hobby store that may import it.
The three Paldean Pokemon you can get Nanoblock kits of are all very popular in their own right. Pawmi is the Pikachu equivalent of Scarlet and Violet, and previous merchandise of the Pokemon include a plastic model kit from Bandai Namco. As for Clodsire, its cute design and status as an region-alternate Quagsire have made it popular as well. Takara Tomy released a giant plush of it, complete with little Paldean Woopers, back in November 2023. Tandemaus, meanwhile, received attention for its bizarre design and powerful Population Bomb attack.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are readily available on the NIntendo Switch. Some other Nanoblock kits Kawada Toys released for Pokemon include ones of Galarian Ponyta and Lucario.

Universal Studios Japan has started a rental service for Nintendo Alarmo clocks at the official hotels affiliated to the theme park. 7 hotels in Osaka are joining the new service, and people spending the night will be able to use the new clock during their stay at their accommodations. The rental service started on February 3, 2025 and some of the hotels affiliated include the Oriental Hotel Universal City and the Hotel Kintetsu Universal City. It is unclear if there is a fee required to borrow the clock of if it is included within the room price. Furthermore, the conditions for the rental service will vary depending on each hotel.
The Nintendo Alarmo is an alarm clock that plays music and sound effects from a variety of popular Nintendo game franchises, including Super Mario, Splatoon, Pikmin, and The Legend of Zelda among others. Alarmo has a sensor that plays sound effects from the games in reaction to your movements, and turns off once you leave bed. Other functions are also included.
The Nintendo Alarmo clock is now available as a rental utility in Universal Studios Japan affiliated hotels. Nintendo Alarmo is available for Nintendo Switch Online members. More general sales for the alarm clock are expected to appear sometime in March 2025.

Bandai Spirits announced that it'll re-run its Honkai: Star Rail Ichiban Kuji lottery from April 23, 2025. It'll cost 780 JPY ($5.05) per attempt. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
As this is a re-run of an earlier Honkai: Star Rail lottery, you can't get merchandise of the newer characters. Considering the line-up, this is the re-run for the anniversary lottery from April 2024. Jingliu, who made her playable debut in October 2023, is the most recent available 5-star available on the goods. Like last time, the top three prizes are tapestries of a 5-star limited Light Cone, and the fourth place prize is a mug in the shape of a Belobog trash can.

Again, like last time, the Last One Prize is an illustration board of one of the three limited Light Cones. You'll have until the end of July 2025 for the double chance campaign, and the lottery will end when Bandai Spirits runs out of prizes. You can try your luck at places like convenience stores, anime goods shops, hobby shops, and other places that sell Ichiban Kuji lottery tickets.
Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

Nelke Planning announced that a musical adaptation of Fate/Zero, "A Hero of Justice," will appear in Tokyo in September 2025. This is a sequel of "The Sword of Promised Victory," and it'll conclude the Fate/stay night prequel. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The first half of the Fate/Zero musical ended after they defeated Caster, so "A Hero of Justice" will focus on the battles between the remaining Servants and Masters. People who watched the show should be familiar with the way that Nelke Planning split up the story, as ufotable also ended the first season of Fate/Zero during the showdown against Caster.
All the cast and staff who worked on the first half of the musical series will return for "A Hero of Justice." Gen Urobuchi (Psycho-Pass, Puella Magi Madoka Magica), who wrote the original light novel series, will supervise the script. Meanwhile, Hideyuki Nishimori (Persona 5 the Stage, musical version of Moriarty the Patriot) will handle the script, lyrics, and staging.
Fate/Zero "A Hero of Justice" will appear in Tokyo theaters in September 2025. You can catch the first half, "The Sword of Promised Victory," on DMM TV, and the Blu-Rays and DVDs will come out on July 30, 2025. As for the anime adaptation of Fate/Zero, it's available on streaming services like Crunchyroll.
