Erin Fitzgerald, the most recent voice actress behind Chie Satonaka, confirmed on Bluesky she hasn't heard from Atlus regarding voicing the character in any potential Persona 4 remake. This came after Yuri Lowenthal, the original voice of Yosuke Hanamura, stated he would not be returning for any potential updated release of the JRPG.
In Fitzgerald's statement, she specifically stated she hadn't ben contacted about possibly playing the character again in a remake. She also expressed her joy at being able to play her in the entries and spin-offs she did. Here's a screenshot of the Bluesky post I took.

Yuri Lowenthal later removed his statement from social media after making it on May 28, 2025.
Erin Fitzgerald is the second English voice actress for Chie in the Persona series, and she debuted in Persona 4 Arena. Atlus then had her take over the part for the Persona 4 Golden releases. She also appeared in both the rhythm game and Etrian Odyssey-style spin-offs and anime adaptation. Prior to that, Tracey Rooney played the heroine in the original game. If we do see a Persona 4 remake, that would make the third Chie Satonaka English voice actress for the series.
Atlus didn't make any remake announcement yet. Summer Game Fest 2025 is upon us, so if any reveal does come up it could be at one of its showcases. So far the only recent remake of a JRPG in the series is Persona 3 Reload. That debuted in 2024. The initial release only included the base game, and the FES content appeared later as DLC.
Persona 4 is available on the PS2, and Persona 4 Golden showed up on the Switch, PS4, Vita, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Persona 3 Reload is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Now that the FFVII Ever Crisis high school AU event Ever Crisis Academy Seven is about to end, Square Enix shared concept art of the uniforms Aerith and Tifa wear in it. It highlights Tifa's more traditional "honor student" design and Aerith's modified sukeban delinquent attire. They appeared alongside two-koma FFVII comics based on the event.
Here's the FFVII Ever Crisis concept art showing the high school uniforms for Aerith and Tifa and gym teacher costume for Barret.

As for the two-koma comics based on this FFVII Ever Crisis high school event, four showed up on social media. They all offered peeks at the characters going through their school days. The one released the evening of May 27, 2025 also referenced characters who didn't appear during this storyline, suggesting Cid is a janitor at Midgard Seventh High School and Reeve might be the vice principal.
Here's all four of those comics. The first to appear was "Grooming? Not Interested." "Dream Come True" appeared after that. The third was "Mr. B's Secret." Finally, the fourth was "Seven Wonders of Seventh High."

Previously, Siliconera spoke with FFVII Ever Crisis Producer Shoichi Ichikawa about the Ever Crisis Academy Seven high school event and character designs. Ichikawa told us, "Tifa is an honor student and Cloud/Zack are delinquents, so while we were wondering what we should do with Aerith, the art team proposed a rough sketch of Aerith as a sukeban. It was visually impactful but also showed a side that was very Aerith-like, such as her fondness for flowers, and we thought we could depict the relationship between Zack and Aerith that is unique to this world setting."
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available on PCs and mobile devices, and the Ever Crisis Academy Seven event ends on May 28, 2025.

Good Smile Company announced that it will sell additional Hatsune Miku merchandise based on the Mai Yoneyama art of the character. It shared initial details and images showing the items on social media. However, it didn't note when exactly the items will be sold or if they'll appear before the matching figure.
The items range in price from ¥550 (~$4) for a "ticket" with the design on it to a five and a half foot tall tapestry for ¥7,700 (~$53). All of the items feature the illustration in a prominent way, with some of them being acrylic standees of the Vocaloid.
Here's the full list of this line of Hatsune Miku merchandise and the expected prices in yen.
And here are the official images Good Smile Company shared with us all on social media so far.

All of this follows a confirmed Hatsune Miku figure based on the Yoneyama design for the Vocaloid. The 1/7 scale figure is expected to release in Japan in December 2025. A US release will follow. Pre-orders already closed back in October 2024. People who bought it directly through Good Smile Company also got a framed reproduction of the art that inspired it.
For reference, here's how that figure will look:

Mai Yoneyama and her art might be quite familiar. She's well known for her designs, which can be found on places like Pixiv and Artstation. Some of her most recent work involved the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Promare, Kill la Kill, FLCL Progressive, and Darling in the Franxx. She also worked on the Kate Tokyo Evangelion ad with Rei Ayanami.
The Hatsune Miku merchandise featuring art by Mai Yoneyama is in development, and the figure based on the design debuts in Japan in December 2025.
