It sucks you in, engulfs you in its stature, kills your spirit in such blunt, obvious ways, that I can't help but be wowed by in all its oppressiveness. As an architectural styling, it is also supremely opportune for sick parkour tricks, something Léonard Lemaitre (Babbdi, Straftat), Nathan Grange and Niels Tiercelin all deeply understand with the volumetric VHOLUME, a "first-person parkour adventure set in a dystopian brutalist city where bureaucracy turns a simple task into an odyssey," which now has a demo. |

Following the events of the 3.0 Amphoreus storyline in Honkai: Star Rail, we're starting to see movement in-game to pull together against the Antimatter Legion, Nanook, and Destruction, and a new Anti-Destruction Alliance trailer highlights the old and new characters who are fighting back or part of upcoming events. It means a chance to see folks from the Galaxy Rangers, Interastral Peace Corporation (IPC), Masked Fools, The Oak Family, Stellaron Hunters, and Xianzhou Alliance. This means we could see all of these folks once we head to Planarcadia in 4.0.
Some of these mark appearances of characters we've heard about, but not actually encountered in-game. The IPC members Opal (Paul Castro Jr.) and Pearl (Cat Protano) are perfect examples. Both are Ten Stonehearts members. He's at the same rank as Jade, which is P46, while she's at P45 like Aventurine. Ashveil is another example of a newcomer. All three of these characters previously tended to only appear in videos on the YouTube channel.
The remainder are characters we are familiar with already, such as the Stellaron Hunters Blade, Kafka, and Silver Wolf, Galaxy Rangers Boothill and Rappa, Genius Society's Ruan Mei, and Xianzhou character Jingliu. Among them are also the new version of the Masked Fools' Sparkle, which is called Sparxie, and Yao Guang. Both of them will be the first 4.0 characters appearing after the patch.
Here's the full "Anti-Destruction Alliance" Honkai: Star Rail trailer highlighting different characters. It seems to feature Pearl inviting people to join the alliance and working with Opal to prepare a trap, and everyone's response to it. It also hints at what we might be able to expect once the Planarcadia Trailblaze missions begin.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 4.0 update will show up on February 14, 2026.

Good Smile Company opened orders for its next Hatsune Miku figure, and the Snow Miku Yukiiro Pop design will show up worldwide in 2027. She'll show up first in Japan, as the launch window for that region is March 2027. The worldwide release is set for Q3 2027. It will cost ¥33,000/$201.99, and the Good Smile Company online storefront bonus is an acrylic block using the original iXima 10th anniversary Sky Town art.
This is a 1/7 scale Hatsune Miku figure. So she'll stand at about nine and a half inches tall (240mm). Or rather, she'll sit at that height, as the pose features the Vocaloid sitting on a cloud, macaron, and star. She's wearing a poppy blue and white outfit with snowflakes. The rabbit mascot Yukine, which is always present with this wintry version of the character, also appears in different forms. The rabbit proper sits on her left, she's holding a plush version of her, and there's a plush of the mascot's face on her right.
Here's a closer look at the Snow Miku Yukiiro Pop figure from Good Smile Company, including pictures of her next to the bonus acrylic block.
The company also shared two images that allow us to directly compare the final figure to the iXima art of the Vocaloid that inspired it.
As a reminder, Snow Miku 2026 is cold_air's Patisserie of Happiness design.
The Snow Miku Yukiiro Pop figure will show up in Japan in March 2027 and worldwide in Q3 2027. Pre-orders close on March 25, 2026.

Square Enix announced on social media that some of the next Final Fantasy Trading Card Game FFVII cards will involve Aerith and Tifa in their Wall Market dresses. These will be PR card prizes at tournaments for the game. People who compete in March 2026 will get a chance to earn them. This will be in honor of the Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X versions of FFVII Remake Intergrade. The North American account hasn't confirmed if these will be the Organized Play cards in the US and Canada yet. However, since the Golbez card is already confirmed to be the reward in both North America and Japan, it seems likely.
Both of these FFVII Remake Aerith and Tifa Wall Market Final Fantasy Trading Card Game cards feature the Tetsuya Nomura and Roberto Ferrari art credit, as they involve concept art for designs from that portion of the game. In the case of Aerith, she's wearing the most elaborate dress option that we can get in-game by completing six side quests during the eighth chapter. The Tifa dress is based on her "sporty" look that resembles a qipao style outfit. You can only see that in-game if you finish the third chapter's side quests.
Here's how these two cards will look. These are both Forward character cards, with Aerith having 3,000 Power and Tifa 5,000. Each one costs two elements, with Tifa's showing earth and fire on its crystal. Tifa's card effect lets you put a Cloud one into your hand from your deck when she's played, while Aerith's keeps enemy abilities from removing cards from play and sent back to your hand.
Final Fantasy Trading Card Game is available worldwide, and the Wall Market dress cards of Aerith and Tifa from FFVII Remake Intergrade will be available as prizes in March 2026 in honor.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Sunrise released a winter visual of Heero and Relena. This key visual will also appear as an acrylic panel, which people will be able to receive as a paid bonus with the Endless Waltz 4K anime remaster box in Japan.
The image depicts Heero and Relena standing back to back, with the Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom behind them. Feathers are falling in the air with the snow, creating a rather aesthetically pleasing scene despite the destruction in the background. The Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom also appeared in the 30th anniversary video that Sunrise released in July 2025.
Sunrise is still accepting pre-orders of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Special Edition 4K Remaster Box set. It'll come out on March 35, 2026. Aside from being exactly what it says on the tin (a 4K remaster of Endless Waltz), it'll also have new audio commentary and bonus footage, such as the aforementioned new 30th anniversary video. It'll cost 11,000 JPY ($70.60) for the set, and the website did not mention how much extra the paid bonus acrylic panel costs. Pre-orders will close on February 12, 2026.
The Gundam Channel International has the entire Gundam Wing HD Remaster on its YouTube channel, and the show is also streaming on Crunchyroll.

Hololive English Vtuber Kiara Takanashi shared a teaser for her second album Vogelfrei on YouTube, and after she did she confirmed on social media that one song acts as a tribute to former Myth members Gawr Gura and Amelia Watson. This marks our first opportunity to hear the track ahead of the full debut on streaming services on February 7, 2026. This follows the appearance of figures based on the performer.
When bringing up the Gawr Gura and Amelia Watson tribute song on Vogelfrei, Kiara Takanashi was a bit cagey on social media. She noted, "And yes, there's a song that's a tribute to two myth [sic] ladies." She included yellow and blue emoji hearts after, which are the signature colors for the two members of that generation that graduated and stepped back from streaming. While she didn't specifically name the track, the preview for "Blue & Gold," which comes up at the 3:38 mark, already features lyrics referencing the two.
Here's the Vogelfrei tribute. The first nine highlighted songs are the new tracks and interludes. Those are followed by the four songs she previously released.
Here's the full track listing:
In addition to the album's streaming and physical release, there will be another way to hear the new Kiara Takanashi music. She'll be performing a concert with fellow Myth member Ninomae Ina'nis between March 27-28, 2026. That's called Drawn to Dawn and, while people in LA who grabbed tickets can see it in person, that will be streaming too.
The Kiara Takanashi album Vogelfrei will debut on February 7, 2026, though it might not show up in certain regions until February 8, 2026.

Nintendo shared its Consolidated Results for the Nine Months Ended December 31, 2024 and 2025, which led to updates to its console and handheld sales figures and Top Selling Title Sales Units lists, and that means new milestones for the Switch and its games. The newest console is now at 17.37 million units sold worldwide and 37.93 games sold, with four titles being shown as passing one million in sales. The top one remains Mario Kart World, due to it being a pack-in for the new system for one bundle.
In terms of console and handheld sales, the Switch 2 and its predecessor are the ones with major updates after the new Consolidated Financial Highlights. The original Switch is now at 155.37 million units sold, which makes it the overall best-seller for the company due to passing the DS hallmark of 154.02 million. It was already the best-selling console after passing the Wii, which hit 101.63 million. In terms of Switch 2 progress, it getting to 17.37 million means it already outperformed the Wii U lifetime sales, which were 13.56 million.
As for the Switch 2 games sales numbers, here are the figures so far. Only four games are listed as being over a million, and Kirby Air Riders is one of the newest additions to the list.
With the original Switch, the Top Selling Title Sales Units positions didn't change too much even though numbers did generally go up. Here's the updated top 10 from Nintendo.
One of the next updates will involve the Virtual Boy returning via Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack and peripherals that recreate the experience.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is now just a little over nine months away, for real this time, and it's still on track for its current release date.
That info comes straight after GTA publisher Take-Two's earnings call today, which touted the upcoming fiscal year that will be "led by the November 19th release of Grand Theft Auto 6 with Rockstar's launch marketing set to begin this summer," in a statement to IGN.
And so, we now have some confirmation that the next time we'll hear or see more about GTA 6, at least publicly and barring any more leaks, is this summer. And further confidence that the game won't suffer from further delays.
As for recent rumors that GTA 6 will be foregoing physical editions in an effort to avoid more leaks, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told Variety "that's not the plan." So, get those disc drives ready on your PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
For now, we wait until the summer for some hands-on previews and probably a new trailer or two, including the first official look at gameplay. It could happen at Summer Game Fest or another seasonal gaming event, but it's likely that Rockstar will release the information on their own along with media impressions.
Meanwhile, Take-Two also announced that GTA 5 has sold a whopping 225 million copies, which means GTA 6 has sky-high expectations to try and recreate that. It may not be possible, but if any game could do it, it's likely this one.
GTA 6 is due to launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on Nov. 19, 2026, so start your countdowns now, if you somehow haven't already.

YAPYAP is now out for PC players, and you can enjoy it with your buddies in co-op.
While you're free to run around the castle and do vandalism on your own, there are benefits to playing with your friends. For starters, being alone against the monsters isn't fun, and it can cost you your life (in the game). Moreover, there are certain quotas to meet, and it becomes easier to get the job done in full party.
Table of contents
How to invite your friends to YAPYAP
First, you'll need to add your friend on Steam if you want to play with them. This will allow you to invite them for a co-op session. You can only invite your friend when you're yet to start a new night round. To do so, complete the following steps.
Once the invite is sent, your buddy can accept the request and join you on your co-op session. Alternatively, they can join directly by opening the Steam overlay. They will then have to click on your profile and choose to join your live session. You can do the same, and this process bypasses the need to send an invite using the Ponder Orb.
How many players can co-op in YAPYAP
YAPYAP can be enjoyed in co-op up to five players in a session. In simple words, you can invite up to four other friends to play together. There's no option for public lobbies in the current build of the game. The only way to play together is by manual invites (or your friends joining you directly from Steam).

YAPYAP is now out for PC players via Steam, and there's a decent bit of controls you'll want to memorize.
YAPYAP's gameplay relies heavily on voice command, as you'll need to 'spell' with your voice. However, not every bit of action requires the use of voice commands. Most of the ordinary tasks, including movement, will be carried out by your keyboard and mouse.
Let's look at all the default controls that you'll need to master as you and your buddies vandalize things around you.
Table of contents
All YAPYAP default controls
The default controls for YAPYAP are all centred around the keyboard and mouse. There doesn't appear to be controller support as of writing, but that could eventually arrive with an update. The following table has all the controls that you need to keep in mind.
How to change controls in YAPYAP
Changing the controls is pretty simple.
The physical controls are only one aspect of YAPYAP, as you'll need to use your mic to spell with your own words. That will require you to be precise, as a mispronounced spell won't be considered. Thankfully, the game already supports different languages, so you don't necessarily need to resort to English.

There are quite a few sidearms in Destiny 2, and with Renegades, Evening SI4 has joined the list of target sidearms. It has access to a few elemental keywords in its god roll, with a little damage on the side.
This burst-fire Omolon sidearm has one special trick up its sleeve: the Accelerated Assault origin trait from Renegades, which can roll randomly in weapons from the Portal. This is the game-changer, but the weapon still works just fine without it—as fine as a primary weapon can in the Renegades sandbox, anyway.
Here are our god rolls for Evening SI4 in Destiny 2, based on data from d2foundry.gg.
Evening SI4 PvE god rolls in Destiny 2
Evening SI4 has Solar on all sides, so you have a few different ways to access subclass verbs. Heal Clip is universally useful even if you're not using a fiery build, since the cure it provides is some free sustain on top of your layers of survivability. The ability to activate Ember of Benevolence with a reload in group content is a little sugar on top, so this is our easy favorite in our god roll.
Since sidearms are better suited for close-range encounters, Evening SI4 can use Proximity Power quite well, which is a great addition for melee builds and a potential alternative. Kills within 15 meters of an enemy grant you extra points in your Melee stat, so you can top up your stat points here if needed.
On the flip side, Subsistence lets you avoid reloading by refilling your magazine on a kill, and Impromptu Ammunition helps your ammo generation. These are a notch below the other two options in our god roll, though.
Evening SI4's Solar synergy continues in the fourth column, with both Burning Ambition and Incandescent up for grabs. Pick whatever works best for your build in this case: if you already have easy access to Scorch (Through Hellion, for instance), the former is usually the play, but the latter is good to start burning enemies in the first place.
If you're not on Solar, you're bound to benefit more from a damage perk, and that's where Desperate Measures comes into play. All you have to do is get kills with weapons or abilities for bigger damage numbers. It's among our favorite traits in all of Destiny 2, and unsurprisingly, it's carved a spot in our Evening SI4 god roll.
Outside of the A-list, Collective Pugilism pairs well with Proximity Power for more melee generation. That said, if you're consistently using your melee, you're better off picking Desperate Measures for the uptime. Sword Logic isn't a bad perk, but in primaries, it's a lot more work to maintain than our top choices.
To justify its use, however, Evening SI4 must vie against the reissued Drang from Ash & Iron. These two have similar perks, though Drang has a far more comfortable archetype. Accelerated Assault is the key driver here,
