All Age of Empires 4 cheats

What are the Age of Empires 4 cheats? Cheats are a strong staple of strategy games, and the Age of Empires series is known for some great ones. From magical bears to cars that can fire bullets, we've been able to do some weird and wonderful things over the years. Though they were absent at launch, cheats finally arrived with the AoE 4 Anniversary Edition in late 2022, and they certainly haven't disappointed.

As one of the best RTS games out there, Age of Empires 4 continues the hit series' tradition of blending helpful resource codes with the weird and wonderful. With one cheat you can turn the natural world on its head, while another sees the return of one of the most iconic AoE units that can only be spawned through chat-based skullduggery. If you're unsure how to activate cheats in AoE 4 jump to the bottom of this guide, otherwise let's get into the cheats.

Arm just brought Nvidia DLSS-style upscaling to mobile devices

Ever since Nvidia first unveiled its DLSS 2 upscaling technology and suddenly brought a viable free way for gamers to increase the frame rate of their games, it has brought about a step change in the way gamers and the industry thinks about gaming performance. To that end, Arm has just announced that it has developed its own DLSS 2-like upscaling algorithm, which will work on GPUs for mobile devices, calling it Arm Accuracy Super Resolution or ASR.

Arm, which designs the baseline architecture of the mobile chips used by the likes of Apple, Qualcomm, and Samsung, isn't a company we'd normally associate with the best graphics card innovations for desktop gamers. However, its architecture sits at the heart of the new and much-hyped Qualcomm Elite X laptop chips, which are establishing themselves as the first truly viable option for Arm-based Windows laptops.

     Intel is

Intel's not having a good time with gamers right now, with the company still struggling to find the root cause of game instability on its CPUs, and now a game dev has issued a no-nonsense smackdown about Intel CPU game crashes on its official blog. In a piece titled "Intel is selling defective 13-14th gen CPUs," Matthew Cassells, founder of Alderon Games, said he was even swapping out all its game servers from Intel to AMD hardware as a result, and anyone else hosting game servers to do the same.

Gamers have been reporting crashes on Intel CPUs for a number of months now, with the problem appearing to particularly affect games based on the Unreal engine. In particular, this stability issue seems to affect the best gaming CPU from Intel right now, the Core i9 14900K, with common error messages reporting that the game is out of video memory when it's compiling shaders, even if your graphics card has an enormous amount of VRAM.

Intel's newest CPU has just two cores, but we actually want to try it

A new Intel CPU has just leaked, and it's among the more intriguing new processors we've seen in some time. The Intel Processor 310 is a brand new product based on the company's latest Raptor Lake-S architecture, but it has just two cores.

This tiny amount of processing cores stands in stark contrast to most of the rest of the company's Raptor Lake lineup, with its Intel Core i-branded chips bottoming out at four cores and rising to 24 cores for its flagship Core i9 14900K. As such, it's fair to say this new Intel chip won't be a best gaming CPU contender.      MSI's Claw 2 GPU is nearly twice as fast as Steam Deck in this leak

Benchmark leaks for the new Intel Battlemage GPU found in the MSI Claw 2 have started to surface, and this latest one appears to show that it offers nearly double the performance of the Steam Deck GPU. The forthcoming MSI Claw 2 is set to use the new Intel Lunar Lake chip, which has just appeared in a listing on the Geekbench results browser in the Vulkan test.

Vulkan is an open-source API that can be used as an alternative to DirectX, and it's used in both games and professional applications. You can run Baldur's Gate 3 and Doom Eternal in Vulkan rather than DirectX, for example.      The best skateboard games 2024

What are the best skateboard games? In the past, it was tough to find a skateboarding game on PC, with the genre having its heyday during the PS2 and Xbox 360 console generations. Recently, however, the skateboarding gaming scene has seen a resurgence, with realistic skate sims making the most of the PC platform to deliver the most accurate skateboarding games yet.

Nothing quite captures a moment in time like the years when skateboarding was at its mainstream peak. A mixture of creativity and aggression, skateboarding can be a true expression of style, and the best skateboarding games all manage to capture that in some form. For a niche few, these are some of the best PC games ever. All that, naturally, backed by an energetic soundtrack that seamlessly switches from thrash metal belters and pop punk fare to classic West Coast hip hop - the best skateboarding games often ooze effortless style.

Sometimes, honest accessibility aids are falsely accused of being cheating tools; other times, a monitor will straight-up play League of Legends for you. This week, developments in gaming keyboards have sparked a new debate on what does and doesn't fall within the scope of fair play, with mechanical keeb specialists Wooting declaring in no uncertain terms that "Rappy Snappy is not the same as Snap Tap." The second I wrested this privilege from Ed Thorn's resentful fingers, however, developers Edgeflow Studio and publishers Hooded Horse delayed the early access release. Perhaps this reflects Hooded Horse's atypically forgiving, when-it's-ready approach to game publishing. Or perhaps they just hate me and wish to deny me things that might bring me pleasure. It matters not, because the game now has a new early access release date - 30th August 2024 via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Catch a celebratory trailer below.

From Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart through the original Prey to the obvious touchpoint Portal, gaming hath no greater love than that for an unassuming door which stitches together two places that are notionally far apart.

This rampant enthusiasm for teledoors might seem strange, given that video games are make-believe worlds held together by arbitrary squiggles of magic language. There is fundamentally no reason any video game door should obey the customary laws of spacetime. But don't let that stop you watching the announcement trailer for Motion Blur's Black State, a third-person stealth shooter which is heavily redolent of Metal Gear Solid but also, awash with doors that work in mysterious ways.

Koei Tecmo confirmed the full release date for Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake. The company will release the remake simultaneously worldwide on October 24, 2024.

This game will be a remake of Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII, which originally appeared for PCs in Japan in 2001. VIII was the second entry in the series after VII to feature individual playthroughs as opposed to only faction rulers.

Koei Tecmo will bring the graphical and art quality up to modern standards as seen in more recent iterations like XIII and XIV while retaining most of the features from the original VIII entry. The company will also add new features, such as a relationship chart that will show characters with both the most intimate and the most hostile connections with the player's character.

Following its initial reveal in September 2023, Koei Tecmo originally planned to release the remake in early 2024. However, the company delayed the game's release by removing the "early" part.

The newly confirmed release date of October 24, 2024, maintained Koei Tecmo's commitment to release the remake within the year. However, it will also mark the first time ever for an entry in the series to have a simultaneous worldwide release in all regions and platforms. Prior series entries, including XIII and XIV, used to be released first in Japan with the Western English releases following suit months later.

Koei Tecmo has also uploaded the first formal trailer for Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake on YouTube:

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch simultaneously worldwide on October 24, 2024.

FFXIV Visa Debit Card Payment Method Being Fixed in July

After issues starting on May 2024, Square Enix announced that FFXIV Visa Debit cards will be fixed and again a payment method option. People will once again be able to use that kind of credit card to pay for related items and services starting on July 23, 2024.

Square Enix first reported the issue on May 1, 2024. This came after a new payment processor was added. Typically, credit cards that can be accepted as a payment method for FFXIV include American Express, Discover, JCB, Mastercard, and Visa. However, after the update Visa Debit cards weren't working. Once the company realized the issue at the end of May 2024, it announced a July 2024 window for the fix.

While waiting for the final fix, Square Enix again offered the same alternatives to people who have a Visa Debit card and can't make purchases. It suggested buying game time codes from its official storefront, which does accept that payment method, or using Amazon Pay and PayPal whenever possible to buy the Crysta currency.

This issue came up in FFXIV ahead of Dawntrail. However, a number of other problems came up alongside the expansion and update to 7.0. Free game time is being distributed as a result, with Xbox Series X players getting more due to an issue that pops up when moving between areas.

Final Fantasy XIV and the Dawntrail expansion are available now for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Visa Debit card payment method will be available again on July 23, 2024.

On July 12, 2024, Capcom published a new tweet that revealed the previous silhouettes to be Pochacco with a Zinogre wear and Hangyodon with a Lagiacrus hoodie. It also shared two new silhouettes in the same tweet. It appears that the company will gradually reveal the crossovers on a daily basis.

new hexadrive horror game

Hexadrive has released a teaser trailer for its new horror game. It's a very short video at only fifteen seconds long. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Here is the teaser trailer for the new Hexadrive title:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF5n4LpXW4E

In it, you can see an old Japanese-looking house, along with some strange shadows and what looks like a tentacle reaching out from a drawer. There is a filter over everything, making it look like an old film. At the end of the teaser, the date July 19, 2024 appears. This will likely be the date that Hexadrive releases some more information on the game when it goes to present at BitSummit Drift.

So far, we know that it will be a new Japanese-style horror adventure game. According to the video description, the protagonist has wandered into a mysterious world. In order to return to their original one, they must solve puzzles and avoid monsters.

Hexadrive is an independent video game developer company that was founded by a former Capcom programmer in 2007. It's worked on several games with other companies. Some of these games include The 3rd Birthday (with Square Enix), Okami HD (with Capcom), Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (again with Square Enix), Final Fantasy XV (yet again with Square Enix, and Silent Hill: The Short Message (with Konami). This horror game seems to be a fully independent project from the company though.

More information on the new Hexadrive game will appear on July 19, 2024.

Feitan in Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact

Bushiroad confirmed Feitan Portor will be a part of the Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact playable character roster. Players will be able to include him in their team in the upcoming 3v3 fighting game.

The company also shared a new trailer showcasing the character, who will primarily fight with the sword he usually hides inside his umbrella. Kappei Yamaguchi, who voiced Feitan in the 2011 anime adaptation, will reprise his role in this game.

Here is the official trailer confirming the addition of Feitan Portor in Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CGn75iK1TQ

A total of twelve playable characters have been known as of Feitan's reveal. Bushiroad has so far revealed Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Hisoka, Netero, Bisky, Machi, Uvogin, and Chrollo. The official site has sixteen character slots, with five of them still unfilled. However, an early stream by Justin Wong has indirectly confirmed that Genthru will fill one of them.

Even though Bushiroad has been increasing its pace in revealing characters for its anime-based fighting game, it has still yet to confirm the release date within a broad window in the year 2024. However, publishers of fighting games often make major reveals like release date announcements during the annual Evolution Championship Series tournament, and Evo 2024 will take place on July 19-21, 2024.

Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in 2024.

zenless zone zero jane

HoYoVerse has revealed the key visual and voice actresses for Jane Doe, an upcoming Agent in Zenless Zone Zero. There's no information on Jane's kit or even her faction.

According to her Agent Record, Jane is a cat Thiren, just like Nekomata. However, she lacks a lot of the physical features that Nekomata has, including the large cat ears or the cat tail. In fact, she looks a lot closer to a rodent than a cat. Some of her lines seem to suggest that she's a bit of an untrustworthy character. In her voice actor reveal, she states that she has a lot of experience working odd jobs and she enjoys talking to the Proxy, noting that there's something special about them.

In English, Kelsey Jaffer voices Jane Doe in Zenless Zone Zero. Jaffer's previous roles include Ayako in The First Slam Dunk, Yaoyao in Genshin Impact, and Ayla in Punishing: Gray Raven. In Japanese, Yu Shimamura voices Jane Doe. Some of Shimamura's past roles include Annie in Attack on Titan, Yosano in Bungo Stray Dogs, and Penthesilea/Berserker of El Dorado in Fate/Grand Order.

Jane Doe will appear as a playable character in Version 1.1 of Zenless Zone Zero. Other upcoming characters include Qingyi and Seth. Zenless Zone Zero is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

persona 5 royal keyboard

Persona 5 Royal keyboard accessories are now available for pre-order on Infinikey. Pre-orders are open until August 12, 2024 and the items are on a discount right now.

Here are the prices for everything:

The bundle contains everything. Meanwhile, the keycaps use font that resembles the one in-game. A picture of Joker is on the spacebar and one of the larger keys. Since it's MX-compatible and Cherry-profile, they should fit in any mechanical keyboard. The keychain also contains a MX-compatible, Cherry-profile keyboard for people to click and fidget with. Finally, the deskmat contains art of the Phantom Thieves' all-out attacks.

As mentioned earlier, all of the Persona 5 Royal keyboard accessories are available for pre-order until August 12, 2024. They'll ship out in November 2024. Infinikey does offer international shipping, so you don't necessarily have to be in the US to purchase these products. As a note, the image for the bundle includes a keyboard. It won't come with that. You'll need to buy or own your own hotswappable keyboard and switches to use those keycaps.

Though not Infinikey, Persona 5 Royal isn't the only Persona game you can get computer accessories for. Hyte and Atlus revealed a Persona 3 Reload collection in late November 2023. The collection consists of a Y60 PC case, a keycap set, and a deskmat. As of the time of writing, the Y60 bundle is not available for purchase on Hyte's website.

Persona 5 Royal is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

The set will be formally available simultaneously worldwide in the US PDT time zone on July 25, 2024, and in Asia Pacific on July 26, 2024. It will thus take roughly three months in total from the initial reveal until the final release. Bandai Namco announced first at Evo Japan 2024 in late April that it would add Lidia to the Tekken 8 roster. Long gone are the days of the top-down, RPG Maker-style Corpse Party horror games. While the series has flirted with 3D in the past, it stuck with its the traditional viewpoint and gameplay style. This is all changing with Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion, a bold new take for the series based on my recent hands-on experience.

It is uncertain if Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion is related to Dead Patient, but it does also take place in a haunted hospital. During the 15-minute play session I experienced at Anime Expo 2024, I played as Haruka. Haruka and her two classmates, Nemu and Maria, are looking for a way out of the hospital and to safety.

Right out of the gate, I noticed two intriguing parts about this game. The first is the third-person point of view. Instead of a top-down perspective, this game takes place behind the shoulders of Haruka. This gives a it a more Silent Hill-like approach. I felt this throughout the game, and the gameplay supported it as well.

You wander the floors of the hospital with a few movement options at your disposal, such as a dash and interact button. The third-person perspective gives this game a different vibe compared to past games, making it feel even scarier in my initial session. It didn't help that the game had a tiny draw distance, at least on Switch, so I barely saw a few feet in front of me.

Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion also has a much more mature art style to it. This especially came through in actual 3D character models and environments, from what I saw. The removal of the more chibi-like aspects of past games made this instantly much more terrifying. It almost felt like it is in the vein of other Japanese horror titles like Fatal Frame.

The other key change I immediately noticed in Corpse Party 2 involved the character designs. Within the more visual novel-like cutscenes, the 2D character portraits look plucked from an anime. The characters pop much more with color, especially in the case of Nemu. This helps the characters to stand out a bit more, making them more memorable.

Image via Mages

While I adore the visual style of Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion, I'm not quite sure about the gameplay yet. Sure, it has some similarities to Silent Hill and other likeminded horror games. However, this particular title is quite confusing, especially when it comes to exploring the hospital.

The hallways and rooms are quite empty most of the time and look exactly the same no matter the location. It became hard to tell the difference from one gray concrete hallway to the next. I got lost pretty early in the demo and this continued all the way through. It doesn't help that the interact button was pretty unresponsive. I had to perfectly stand in front of an object, such as a door, and aim at it just right for the game to register my input.

This became pretty annoying quite fast, especially since it took up precious time in the preview. Since I wandered around the hospital quite a lot, I didn't get to experience much of the story or action. The bulk of the plot I experienced had to do with a mysterious phone call. On a side note, the audio design in this game is quite impressive at least. Though I had no idea of my location, the smart use of the phone ringing and its audio guided me to its location with ease.

Corpse Party 2 Darkness Distortion Preview Anime Expo 2024
Image via XSEED Games

Answering the phone revealed a tease of a certain character's possible fate in the near future. This added some ominous possibilities for what will happen in the main story. In addition, I saw one gruesome part regarding maggots but the game refrained from showing too much there.

Unfortunately, I missed out on running into any monsters or ghosts. This meant I missed out on seeing how running away, hiding, and surviving works in this new gameplay style.

That said, there is a lot of potential for exploration and puzzles from what I saw. I still have a lot of questions about this game but I appreciate what I previewed. The cast looks to have some solid characters I want to know more about. In addition, Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion's new 3D style already feels much scarier than any past game. I just hope the full experience isn't as confusing to navigate as this short demo.

Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion will release for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC in Fall 2024.
